Backstory:
[SIZE= 20px]Lakota's mother was the daughter of the Alpha of the Northern Mountaineers. His father was the son of the Lead Selsa of the Eastern Executioners. They met when the Executioners passed through Mountaineer territory while migrating, and fell in love instantly. But the Executioners do not breed outside of their pack, and a bond between them was strictly forbidden. So they met in secret. For years, they hid their relationship. When they were adults, they made the decision to disband from their packs, become rogue, and disappear so they could live together in peace. On the night of the Final Crescent, they escaped into the night. [/SIZE]
[SIZE= 20px]For two years, they migrated around the world, always running and hiding from the relentless Deltas of the Executioners. The Alpha wasn't too pleased that a wolf had managed to escape him. On eve of the third year, Lakota's mother gave birth to a litter of four pups. Lakota, Nashoba, Comet, and Luna. A spy for the Executioners was present at this time. He waited for Ashoka--Lakota's father--to leave the den before he attacked. He killed Comet, Nashoba, and their mother, Celestia, then kidnapped newborns Lakota and Luna, who was the runt. He took them back to the Alpha of the Executioners to be evaluated and used as bait for their father. [/SIZE]
[SIZE= 20px]Upon discovering his mate and two of his pups dead, the other two missing, he tracked the spy's trail back to the Executioners. Upon entering the territory he was immediately apprehended. When brought before the Alpha, who was holding Lakota in his arms as his mate cradled Luna, he learned of the Alpha's plan for his children. They were to be raised as Executioners and, when old enough, would be asked to take the life of their own father as their official initiation into the pack, Being killed by one's owns pups would be the most painful punishment he could bestow upon Ashoka for his betrayal. So Luna and Lakota were raised for nearly fifteen years to be ruthless murderers, wolves whose only care was spreading chaos, strife, and pain. At the age of fifteen, their father was brought to the center of pack lands on the night of a Full Moon. In front of the entire pack, they were asked to kill him.[/SIZE]
[SIZE= 20px]They refused. The Alpha was enraged. He murdered their father before them and proceeded to attack Lakota's sister. In defense of her, Lakota attacked him. Having been trained personally by him for fifteen years, Lakota held his own and was able to withstand the fight long enough for his sister to run. Eventually, he grew tired and the Alpha riddled him with attacks until he was mass of broken bones, blood, and matted fur. Thankfully, the Alpha's mate did not condone the slaughter of a child she had raised and she stopped him. Lakota was in the pack infirmary for three days before a rogue spy helped him escape and led him to the Borealis. [/SIZE]
