The Kirdoni Commonwealth

"Glory to the Commonwealth, and death to all who oppose us!"

The Kirdoni Commonwealth(Alternate Names - The Commonwealth, Kirdoni Soyuz, KirComm, KCSISS) a multi-racial nation comprise of 39 species, including humans, an arachnoid race called the Kirdoni, AI's called Tetrons and Neuros, canines called Kinerothin, and the powerful psionic Nicassir. It was formed by an unlikely alliance between human colonists and the struggling conglomerate of the Kirdoni, Tetrons, Neuros, Kinerothin, and Nicassir. The Kirdoni were in desperate straits whilst fighting the Tagran, who are their close racial relatives, yet hated beyond reproach. The Kirdoni have lost greatly; 80% of their territory has been lost, almost all their hive queens are dead, and 63% of their population is gone. They have already turned to various allies, but the Tagran were simply too strong. Humanity helped turn the tide by attacking the Tagran at various fronts while the Kirdoni and their allies pushed with heavy losses towards the Tagran capital. The capital fell, and the Tagran were nearly eradicated. The humans were given 50,000 systems by the Kirdoni as fair payment for their assistance, and together, they rebuilt from the war. Even to this day, the Kirdoni are yet to recover even half of their losses after nearly two centuries.

The worlds of the Commonwealth are well known for being barren planets with sprawling subterranean cities beneath the surface. In addition, their worlds are also rich in various minerals.

Official Name: Kirdoni Commonwealth of Soviet Interstellar Socialist States

Demonym: Kirdoni
Government Type: Parliamentary Democracy

Leader(s): Premier Taran Bermstye and High Queen Azjohliran

Galaxy: Small Magellanic CLoud
Territory: 12 o'clock zones:N
Number of Systems: 130,000

Influence Rank: 4

Capital World: Durgadon, a tidally locked planet wherein one side is eternally bathed in the sun's roaring wrath and the other side in perpetual darkness and frost. A supermassive subterranean megapolis holds its entire population, and local flora and fauna flourish in the narrow strip between the dark and light sides in the verdant Musohroz Sea.
Population by Race: 45 trillion humans, 55 trillion Kirdoni, 7 billion Nicassir, 35 billion Tetrons, 120 million Helvatins, 500,000 Neuros, 120 billion Kinerothin

Technology Rank: 8.1

FTL Type: Hyperspace - By entering hyperspace, a starship could take advantage of the wrinkles in the fabric of realspace to reduce journey time significantly, "jumping" from a specific point to another point without having to travel directly between them. However, large objects in realspace cast "mass shadows" in hyperspace, so hyperspace jumps necessitated very precise calculations. Without those, a vessel could fly right through a star or another celestial body.

Range is around 2000 light years, with a cooldowns of 1 hour on between jumps. The accuracy decreases as the range increases, so the safest maximum is 2100 light years.
Technological Development Focus: Balanced.
Exceptional Technologies: The Stalinum armor plating of Commonwealth battleships and superheavy tanks, which make kinetic projectiles nearly useless against them.

In addition, shield barriers are able to be erected by lines of Tiger Class Battlecarriers, protecting everything that is inside and keeping out anything without Commonwealth energy signatures.

Culture: Kirdoni society places high emphasis on he greater good of many. That being said, the Kirdoni will cast aside the self for the greater good of society, even if that means death. Asides from this, the Commonwealth is fairly isolationist and suspicious. They always view others as if these others have dark, ulterior motives, never leaving them unwatched. The Commonwealth also hates above all else expansionist empires, seeing them as a dire threat that one should never consort with. Hence, they always try to stop any imperialist attempts near their territory. However, when it comes to a common enemy, the Kirdoni are willing to lay down their arms, even if for just a short while.
Government:
The Commonwealth is a parliamentary democracy that holds referenda on very serious issues, such as wars and rebellions. However, the Kirdoni High Queen holds significant power over the Kirdoni population, who comprise at least 55% of the total population.

The Parliament represents the people, and each MP is the governor is one of the 130,000 systems that the Commonwealth holds. The Premier is the leader of Parliament, and can veto an unfavorable decision passed by the Parliament. The Premier and the High Queen cooperate in ruling the nation.

Military: The Molot Naroda is divided into 7 branches - The Star Navy, the Planetary Defence Forces(PDF), the KGB, the Mistresses of Death, the Red Army, the Bessmertnyye Chapters, and the Emerald Legions. Each fills a specific role in any war.

Star Navy

As its name suggests, the Star Navy is the collective name for all the warfleets of the Commonwealth. To date, its total strength is at 300,000 warships, including around 70,000 capital ships and 230,000 escort vessels. This does not include fighters, which number at millions at the least.

Planetary Defence Forces(PDF)

The Planetary Defence Forces are planetary garrisons stationed at every Commonwealth world, whether it be a backwater colony, a labyrinth filled frost world, or a massive Citadel Planet. Their sizes depend on their home planet's population; usually, it is 5% of the entire population. Men and women can both serve, and all races can voluntarily enlist themselves. However, each race is armed specifically with weapons deemed most fit for their physical anatomy; humans and Tetrons tend to receive long range rifles and Kirdoni tend to wield melee weapons. Powerful psychic races, such as Nicassir, often receive no weapons save for psionic amplifiers, with which they can use their innate psychic potential to crush their foes in battle.

The KGB

Deemed as one the most ruthless and brutal of all the Molot Naroda's branches, the KGB lives true to its name. Its main purpose is to hunt down and neutralize potential insurgents, whether real or imagined. Armed with the blessings of the Patriarch of Durgadon and their own mighty blades and armor, the KGB's agents hunt down and capture traitors to the state one by one. Once captured, these traitors are often subjected to brutality, as the KGB will never hear any pleas for leniency. The KGB is also the most confidential of the Molot Naroda's branches; few even know of its existence. The agents are careful not to allow any knowledge of their clandestine operations to leak into the public, especially if the Patriarch will know of it. The Patriarch will certainly not approve of the KGB's cruelty.

Mistresses of Death

The Mistresses of Death, otherwise known as the Sisters of the Shadows, are an all-female organization within the Molot Naroda. They are fanatically devoted to the cause, even more so than the KGB. The exact purpose of the Sisters is unknown, but it is known that they usually participate in sabotage, assassination, and destruction of the enemy's assets. They are armed with an assortment of weaponry, ranging from Stalinium swords to sniper rifles with ranges of up to 39 kilometers. The Sisters may be deadly assassins, eagle eyed markswomen, or blade wielding warriors. Whatever their role within the Mistresses of Death may be, the Sisters are devoted to the cause and will trample upon those who dare oppose them.

The Red Army

When the Planetary Defence Forces cannot beat back an invasion by their own, the Red Army is called in. From the dark void of space above, drop pods rain down and the Red Army forces will assist the PDF in wiping out the threat while the Star Navy rains down hellfire from above. Like the PDF, the Red Army is a multi-racial army, but it has one large difference. While the PDF are stationed on their own planets, any Red Army force may be composed of individuals from different worlds, systems, and quadrants. The Red Army has no home planet it can call a headquarters; if any, it would be the capital planet, Durgadon. The Red Army's forces usually reside in space stations, starships, asteroids, or moons. The Star Navy and Red Army are inseparable; the Red Army depends on the Navy to provide its massive forces a place in which to reside in, and the Star Navy needs the Red Army to destroy enemies in the ground when their orbital weapons won't do.

Bessmertnyye Chapters

The Bessmertnyye, translating to "Immortals" (but think of it, they are not really immortal in the general sense.), are a force of genetically enhanced humans, and occasionally suitable xenos such as Kinerothin and Helvatins. They have enhanced regeneration, and can survive injuries that would instantly kill otherwise "normal" individuals. They are divided into 100 chapters, each containing 5,000 - 10,000 Immortals. This is a list of the more notable Chapters -

Durgadon Frost Warriors

These are the Immortals that protect the capital world of Durgadon, and they are easily distinguishable by their white, snow colored power armor and glowing red visors. They are among the strongest and toughest of all the Immortal Chapters, and they are a force t be reckoned with.

Mir Peska Dune Walkers

Mir Peska is a desert planet located in the west fringe of the Commonwealth, and is subject to constant raids from hideous xenos called the Ger'golak, terrifying abominations that resemble lizard/insectoid/cybernetic... things. The Mir Peska Dune Walkers, alongside Mir Peska's PDF, have kept watch over the space around the planet for a very long time. and Ger'golak raiders are spotted every now and then.

Guardians of Moriah

Moriah is a fortress world that protects a very important space time anomaly - a stable wormhole. This wormhole allows instantaneous travel between Moriah and the neighbouring systems, and this is shortcut for invasions from any potential enemies. Thus, the Guardians of Moriah and their PDF allies have fought off hundreds of attempts to conquer Moriah and its wormhole, and invasion is a normal thing there.

Starseekers

The Starseekers are a space-faring chapter that has lost their homeworld to the Tagran a century ago. They have since changed their name from the "Savastra Relicators" to the "Starseekers", reflecting their eternal journey through the stars.

The Fallen Suns

The Fallen Suns are another space faring chapter, but lost their homeworld due to a different reason - Their parent star went supernova, destroying their entire system in seconds. Out of the system's 12 billion inhabitants, only 34 million survived. The sensors only detected that the star is actually going to explode only 19 hours before it exploded, and that led to the massive deaths. To this day, the Fallen Suns lament that... "If only we knew..."

Moscovia Hellraisers

The Moscovia Hellraisers have an ill reputation amongst the Immortal Chapters, and for a good reason. Their gene codes have a slight glitch which causes them to exceedingly violent and sadistic. For this reason, the Hellraisers are kept cryogenically frozen until they are needed to fight an invasion, which is when their blood thirst is most useful.

Kalrathi Shadow Stalkers

A chapter made exclusively made up of Helvatins, the Kalrathi Void Stalkers are a stealth based chapter that focuses on ninja-like tactics and weapons. That being said. the Void Stalkers, of all the chapters, have the highest kill rate of them all, with the Void Stalkers having killed at least 10 million individuals since their founding in 2999, and they are proud of it.

Armaggeddon Eradicators

Another ill-reputed chapter, the Armaggeddon Eradicators live up to their name. When they fight, they leave no survivors. As in NOTHING or NO ONE. Everything is to be burned and everyone has to be killed. No exceptions.

Emerald Legions

The most enigmatic and mysterious of the Molot Naroda's divisions other than the KGB, the Emerald Legions are the ancient armies of the old Kirdoni Empire. Even after humanity came to the setting, the Emerald Legions still remained. The ancient legions of the deep dungeons of the Kirdoni worlds have never slumbered even once, ever vigilant for a possible incursions from the deep darkness that is the earth. For even after great cities spread across the the winding halls and tunnels of the Kirdoni, hellish horrors still stir within the very depths of every world. For every battle fought under the sun and stars are a hundred battles fought by the Emerald Legions in preventing the horrors of the deep from ever approaching the subterranean citadels of the Commonwealth, eternally locked in bloody conflict. They are clad in the most perfect armor the Kirdoni forges can ever build, and only the strongest blades and weaponry can hope to pierce it. Their weapons are still the ancient blades and alchemic contraptions used thousands of years ago, but they have never failed in their duty.

History:

The future Commonwealth was an unlikely place; 83% of all of its planets are wasteland worlds, deemed never fit for human habitation. However, long before human colonists came to the future Commonwealth, an alien race called the Kirdoni built great subterranean cities within the dark confines of the dungeons they dug through the ground of the world they colonized. Within the winding tunnels and mines, the Kirdoni forged a mighty civilization. Great was their glory, and long were they unchallenged in their rule. However, their Empire was shattered when the Tagrans struck from the darkness, reducing the Empire to 20% of its former territory. The Empire struggled to survive, turning to various allies simply to keep itself alive. Nicassir, Tetrons, Neuros, Helvatins, and Kinerothin were among them. However, even with their newfound allies's support, the Tagran were simply too mighty of a foe to defeat. The Kirdoni were desperate; if the Tagran are not defeated, they will engulf the whole of Magellanic Cloud 2 and bring it under their dark dominion.

That was, until when humanity arrived.

Human colony ships and their massive escort fleets arrived in waves in the galaxy. As they came, they came under attack from the rampaging Tagran forces. Seeing the opportunity, the Kirdoni immediately asked for their assistance, offering the humans entire star sectors in which they can settle. The humans were at first hesitant to accept the offer of a xeno race that they have never met before, but seeing the Empire's struggle against the Tagrans, they accepted.

Screenshot_2017-02-18-13-54-06.png

The human colony fleets arrive

The scattered colony fleets launched their own coordinated assaults against the Tagran, punishing them at multiple fronts whilst the Kirdoni and their allies pushed towards the Tagran capital world. Caught between defending their capital from such a massive force and trying to beat back so many attacks at the same time, the tide turned and the Tagran lost, pushed back to their deep dungeons from where they came from.

The Kirdoni fulfilled their bargain, giving the humans a full number of 50,000 worlds as well as assistance in establishing the colonies. But it was a struggle...

Establishing the first colony worlds, even with the Kirdoni's assistance, was a struggle. It is primarily because of the lack of a reliable power source that can be used continually. This place had no Opilium, oil, natural gas, coal, or anything of that sort. The colonists had to rely on their solar powered ships to supply them energy, and brownouts were the order of the day, simply because the ships can't cope with the massive energy demands of building hundreds of colonies. It was like this until the first Premier rose to power. Aegros Stalin.

Aegros ordered prospectors to find all possible sources of energy that can be found, as the Kirdoni likewise relied on solar power, and even for them, they lacked technology good enough to build solar stations. They searched until they finally found a power source - Helium 3. They found gargantuan Helium 3 deposits in the fringe planets that were very sparsely colonized due to their barrenness.

Because of this, the energy dilemma was finally solved, and technology began to advance very rapidly. Later, a very elastic metal was found in some isolated planets, and it was named Stalinium in order of the Premier that led them out of the energy problem.

For the next years, the Commonwealth was generally peaceful, having only to deal with minor annoyances, such as Ujarn Pirates and Islamists. However, a great war sparked against the ancient enemies of the Kirdoni, the Tagran. The Tagran, having recovered from their losses from the war 200 years ago, have struck back once again. A grueling war raged for 20 years from 3012 to 3022, with the Commonwealth finally crushing the last Targran forces in the Battle of the Steel Nebula. However, it took heavy costs to win. At least 10% of the population died in the process, and only the morale support of the Orthodox Church kept the citizens fighting. The Tagran were nearly completely obliterated, and their technology was taken by the Commonwealth for themselves as fair payment. Rebuilding, however, was not very difficult, since the damage was mostly in the colony fringe worlds, where there was not much to destroy.

A fleet of Super Andromeda class warships face the Tagran fleet

The KirComm, as it was often called, remained neutral in the First and Second Intergalactic Wars, and were completely unscathed. The Commonwealth thrived on. However, the Commonwealth citizens hoped for a Colonial victory, as their forefathers come from the Milky Way.

With the Second Great War over, the Commonwealth once again begins to contemplate. Was it all worth it? Should the doors be closed once again? Only time can tell.

Goals and Hooks:

- Protect the Small Magellanic Cloud from foreign invaders

- Ensure the survival of the many species under its tutelage

- Maintain its hard won independence

Misc. Notes: The Commonwealth might look that they are a nice country, but be wary. Around 200 intelligent races have been wiped out by the Commonwealth for showing the slightest hint of hostility towards it, and no one can tell who's next in the "wipe em out"list.

Also, the planets the Commonwealth holds are mostly barren worlds rich in minerals. HEnce their subterranean cities.

Races of the Commonwealth

latest

Physiology: Arachnoid/insectoids with carapaces as strong as steel. They possess four pairs of limbs - 3 for walking and 1 for manipulation. They are great diggers and can burrow in seconds. They have six eyes, but most onlookers only see a helmet instead, as Kirdoni usually hide their faces from other races. The eyes, have 20/20 vision.

Psychology: A race of clever thinkers and determined fighters, the Kirdoni are highly receptive to what is around them and will change whenever needed in order to better accomplish their goals. That being said, they often wouldn't hesitate to switch sides just to achieve their goals.

Notes:

Burrowing - They can be under the ground in just seconds. If its soft ground, that is.

Silk Weaving - Specialized silk weavers can entangle infantry, walkers, with their webs.

Psychic Powers - Only 1 in a billion Kirdoni have psychic powers, but those who have it are powerful and are a terrifying presence in the battlefield. Using telekinesis, and lightning shocks, they can turn the tide of the battle in favor of their comrades. However, their power is also their weakness;anti-psyker weapons can kill/disable them very easily. These can include almost any electromagnetic attacks.

maxresdefault.jpg

Race Name: Helvatins - Panda aliens with an IQ of 150... IN SPEHSS

Homeworld: Xian'hua - A planet that looks like... the Forbidden City in BEijing.

Lifespan: 500 - 550

Reproduction: Sexual

Incubation - 12 months

Infancy - 12 months - 3 years

Childhood - 3 years - 12 years

Youth - 12 years to 21

Adult - 21 - 550

Physiology: They are basically humanoid pandas with superb intelligence... that is basically it.

Psychology: As a race of geniuses, the Helvatins are very innovative and will constantly look for solutions for any given problem. They are not afraid to make mistakes along the way, knowing that mistakes are just another step forward for their progress.

Notes:

Intelligence - They are really bright geniuses. At average their IQ is at 150.

Martial Arts - The traditional martial arts of Xian'hua are always there, and the Helvatins use their skills in martial arts in pulverizing their enemies, even at this era.

(Yeah, even though Helvatins are Pandas, they fight like Chen Stormstrout)

They usually are weak in open battlefields, but in close quarters they are really deadly fighters. Especially in dungeons and inside ships.

latest

Race Name: Tetrons

Homeworld: Hethel - A planet rimmed with nothing but pollution, factories , and metal.

Lifespan: Around 200 years if they are not maintained. Much, much longer if they recieve constant repairs.

Reproduction: All Tetrons in current existence are the same Tetrons built millennia ago. Once a Tetron falls in battle, it can never be replaced.

Physiology: They initially appear to be complete replicas of humans, but it ia all a holographic illusion, as they are actually heartless killing machines.

- In short, their human like appearance is only a hologram, and their true form is that of an obvious robot. If one touches them, the hologram dissipatws and their true form is revealed.

Psychology: Straight forwardly merciless and heartless killers that only follow their higher directives.

Notes: They can tear a person to two pieces with their bare hands, and weapons are hidden within their steel arms. EMP can disable them.

(The Terminator, know him? These are nuch weakers versions anyway)

No one know who created them; all the Tetrons know is that one day they woke up in Hethel, and they have these directives programmed into them.

Race Name: Neuros

Homeworld: Hethel(they and the Tetrons have the same creators)

Lifespan: Around 2000 years, but they can go in twice as long if they recieve constant reformatting.

Reproduction: None really, creating new Neuros is out of the question, at least until their creators show up.

Physiology: They have no bodies(they are just computer programs after all)

Psychology: Their mindset is very mysterious and enigmatic; though they usually act aloof towards the Commonwealth's other races. However, it is believed this aloofness is due to the fact that they have no physical form unlike the rest, and they are not very fond of it. They know that the state in which they're in is irreversible, and it is by no means a good thing for them.

Notes: They are the ones controlling the cyberspace, as well being the AI's that guide the Commonwealth's vessels through space. They are weak against cyber attacks(viruses, they hate it)

They can take control of starships and city systems, if they somehow hack through.

Like the Tetrons, they have no knowledge of who their creators are.

Crowley_Worgen.jpg

Race Name: Kinerothin

Homeworld: Kargath - A brimming city planet.

Lifespan: 120 - 150

Reproduction: Sexual

Incubation - 6 months

Infancy - 6 months - 2 years

Child - 2 years - 12

Puberty - 13 - 18

Adult - 18 - 150

Physiology: Humanoid canines(more like the Worgen from WOW). Their fur colors range from black, white, or grey.

Psychology: A race of prideful warriors and deadly assassins, they act as the KGB's(The Commonwealth Secret Police, or Intelligence Agency, it depends) hitmen and interrogators. However, they are also one of the main front line units of the Molot Naroda.

Notes: Red Rage - IN battle, they can be induced into a maddened state, ruthlessly slaughtering their enemies without remorse. This often devastates enemy infantry.

Need to disable them fast? Use sonic booms. It really hurts for them.

asriel_dreemurr__the_absolute_god_of_hyperdeath_by_yellowflash1234-d9jp7pu.png

Race Name: Nicassir - Psychic goat humanoids

Homeworld: Torganath - A planet filled with numerous castles and caves, which is turn protected by powerful psychic barriers.

Lifespan: 900

Reproduction: Sexual

Incubation - 18 months

Infancy - 18 months - 5 years

Childhood- 5 years - 18 years

Youth - 18 - 30

Adult - 30 - 900

Physiology: They stand at around 7 feet tall at 30, and they have white fur. They have small fangs and horns behind their heads. Despite being anthromorphic goats, their bodies are remarkably humanlike inside. When they die, their bodies turn to dust.

(Or, basically the Dreemurrs from Undertale in SPACE)

Psychology: The Nicassir are extraordinarily kind hearted as a race; they will get out of their own way just to help a "damsel in distress". However, when provoked, they fight back with a ferocity unmatched even by some of the most bloodthirsty of races in the entire universe. The Nicassir will go to extremes to ensure that whoever dared provoked them is completely and utterly destroyed.

Notes:

Telekinesis

Pyrokinesis - Unique to their own race. They can control FIRE with their powers. Hand them torches and they will make the flames dance amd fly.

Levitation

They are really weak against electromagnetic attacks. Also they are not good dodgers.

Ship Classes

The ships of the Commonwealth are a variety of types. The two strongest capital ships of the Commonwealth are the Iosif Stalin Battleship and the Tiger Battlecarrier. Both are culminations of the Commonwealth's technological advances, designed to be in par with the some of the toughest ships in the known universe. Others, such as the T-300 medium cruiser and the Object 274 light destroyer, focus on mobility and attack power, sacrificing armor in exchange for speed. At the same time, the Kurgaf carrier is a complete fighter platform, wholly focused on deploying fighters.

All in all, the Commonwealth Star Navy's doctrine revolves on versatility, attack power, and the simple eradication of enemy forces.

Iosif Stalin Class Battleship

Odessa_zps6b9838b5.jpg

A heavily armed and armored behemoth. Highly expensive, and so is deployed only when absolutely needed.
Type - Heavy frontal bruiser
Length - 3 kilometers
Armor thickness - 15 inches
Armor plating - Stalinium (4x and a half times stronger than steel and its atoms have a copious arrangement that they bounce when hit with something solid and reform again)

Background - One of the oldest classes still in service to the Star Navy, the Iosif Stalin has proven its worth time to time again. Built as the vanguard escorts of the first colony fleets, many of the Iosif Stalins are centuries old, and are constantly upgraded with modernizations. They are often regarded as ancient museums that, once under the command of a competent commander, burns all that is in their path to dust. While they aren't easy to replace, their destruction usually accompanies the destruction of hundreds or thousands of enemy vessels along with it, as the IS is a powerful bruiser and when it explodes, it explodes with such violence that it often destroys numerous nearby ships.

Armament - 5x forward mounted laser batteries, 10x forward mounted kinetic cannons(9 inch), 6x torpedo launchers, 200 ion defense batteries, 200 laser and kinetic side batteries.
Examples: Vladivostok, Murmansk, Petrograd, Moskau

Tiger Class Battlecarrier

Spitfire.png

The Tiger is one of the most fearsome starships of the Star Navy. Armed to the teeth with a single solar cannon and a hadron collider, it can mow down lines of enemy starships with a single blow from its solar cannon. In addition, its shields are capable of absorbing energy attacks and converting them into shield energy, increasing the Tiger's massive defensive capabilities.

Background - Another ancient class, the Tigers are often centuries old and are effectively powerful super cannons that destroy swathes of lesser ships with precise blows from their proton colliders and solar cannon. While vulnerable to straightforward assaults, it is always accompanied by two of its sister ships, the IS ships, and a squadron of its more modern cousins, the Darksea Battlecarriers. As of such, it has such protection that it is difficult to approach one without attracting fire from two heavy battleships and an entire squadron of lesser battlecarriers.
Type - Heavy support fire
Length - 3 kilometers
Armor thickness - 15 inches
Armor plating - Titanium/platinum alloy + diamond nanothreads Armament - Solar cannon/proton collider, 150 laser defense batteries
Examples: Hammer of Dawn, Light of Flame, the Eternal Annihilator

T-300 Medium Cruiser

images (2).jpg

Swift and deadly, the T-300's are the mainline escort vessels of the Star Navy. They are capable of flying at a staggering speed of Mach 7, and they always operate in groups called wolf packs. True to their grouping name, the T-300's are adept at hunting down specific targets and destroying them with a barrage of plasma torpedoes and laser batteries.

Background - Built as close support escorts of the first colony fleets, the T-300's are mobile starships that deal pulverizing damage in groups. While weak on their own, the T-300's are extremely dangerous when in groups and are a larger ship's doom.
Type - Mobile escort
Length - 675 meters
Armor thickness - 8 inches
Armor plating - Koranite (3x stronger than steel but much lighter)
Armament - 4x plasma torpedo launchers, 5x laser batteries
Examples: Impaler, Slayer, Destructor, Constrictor

Kargaf Class Carrier

Sevastopol_zps881bd120.jpg

A very heavily armored carrier that is capable of deploying thousands of fighters, mostly robotic but some being manned. Lacks any weapon systems, but being escorted by packs of T-300's as well having very thick armor makes it no big deal.

Background - First built during the wars against the Tagran, the Kargaf are dedicated fighter platforms that send thousands of drones and fighters screaming towards enemy fleets. As the tagran cruisers proved far too
elusive for the lumbering battleships or battlecarriers to strike properly, bombers deployed from the Kargaf carrier would do the job instead. Now, the Kargaf form a battle fleet's arm of destruction, sending bombers and fighters to take the fight to the enemy.
Type - Heavy support
Length - 4 kilometers
Fighter capacity - 10,000
Armor thickness - 20 inches
Armor plating - Titanium/platinum alloy + diamond nanothreads
Examples: Zuikaku, Akagi, Shoukaku

Objekt 274 Light Destroyer

space_ship_a_day_001__bull_dog_class_destroyer_by_mckiller-d58hoe5.jpg

Light, small, and death in a nutshell. The Objekt 274 is a small but terrible killer in the void of space. Though no larger than 375 meters long and 10 meters wide, in groups, they quickly dispatch warships larger than themselves with salvos of plasma torpedoes and armor piercing kinetic shells. In addition, they emanate powerful electromagnetic fields around them, wreaking havoc to the electronic equipment of any enemy starship that dares come too close.

Background - Built during the first war against the Tagran, the Objekt 274 were conceived to counter the Tagran destroyers that they encountered. They now prove far dangerous than intended. The Objekt 274's have such speed that even enemy battleship point defence systems have difficulty scoring a hit against the highly agile destroyers.

Type - Swarm ships
Length - 375 meters
Armor thickness - 4 inches
Armor plating - Stalinium
Armament - 2x plasma torpedo launcher and 4x kinetic cannons
Examples: IL-23, IL-52

Black Eagle Stealth Frigate

image.jpg

Screenshot_2017-02-02-19-32-45.png

Small yet terrible, the Black Eagles are terrifying and ominous starships armed with highly advanced stealth technology that surmounts even the best sensor technology. Sensors can only usually detect Black Eagle frigates after 15 minutes, meaning that whatever the Black Eagles's mission, they must do it quickly. One thing worth nothing is that they are eerily similar to the ancient warships of Terra, the ones that sailed on the seas. What makes it interesting is that it is actually unknown who first invented the Andromedus class ships, under which the Black Eagles, Slavas, and Darksea ships are classified under. They all share an erie similarity to ancient terran sea ships, which which has led some to believe that perhaps the ancestors of the Commonwealth humans were the ones that preserved knowledge ig Earth's ancient machines of war the best. Interestingly, they were first created as the escort ships of a colonization mission to the Andromeda galaxy, but were diverted off course and ended up in the Small Magellanic Cloud, where Commonwealth patrols found the ships derelict and ruined. At that, few of their crews were still alive. It is unknown what caused them to sustain such damage, but is believed that a Tagran strike force damaged the Andromedus ships. Luckily, they were restored, and now they are some of the Commonwealth's most faithful vessels.

Type - Stealth ship
Length - 200 meter
Armor Thickness -6 inches
Armor plating - Nanocarbon composites
Armament - 4x shock batteries, 5 missile launchers
Examples: 1-401, 1-708, 1-418

Slava Class Battlecruisers

image.jpg

IMG_20170208_182125_912.JPG

The Slava Battlecruisers are the mainline capital warships of the Commonwealth. Stronger and larger than the T-300 escorts but weaker than the IS battleships, they are truly a force to be reckoned with. While boasting few weapons for their size, they compensate the lack of numbers with their rapid fire rate of 45 rpm and the sheer amount of damage every shot can do. What is a hundred small guns to a massive blast cannon?
Background - As the Second Great War ended, one of the reasons for the high Commonwealth ship casualties were a lack of versatile ships that could at least partially fulfill the duties of a mobile escort and a heavy hitter. As such, the Slava Battlecruiser was built. A heavily steroided version of the Black Eagle, the Slava boasts few weapons, but makes up with dealing enormous damage per shot and shooting with a high speed. While weaponless on the bottom side, the Slava is a highly mobile ship that can turn itself upside down quickly to face and shoot down any foe that tries to attack from below. Its elongated and narrow design also ensures that frontal attacks have the least chance of hitting it.

Type - Mainline capital ship
Length - 990 meters
Armor thickness - 10 inches
Armor plating - carbon nanocomposites
Armament - 9 21-inch turret mounted shock batteries, 40 rocket launchers

Darksea Class Battlecarrier

image.jpg

p1.jpg

The aides of the Tiger Battlecarrier. The Darksea class utilizes two modified delta wings as fighter hangars, and atop that, the Darksea's shock cannons are a serious threat to face. Utilizing a combination of kinetic and laser weaponry, the shock cannons can simultaneously fire a kinetic round and a laser beam from the same bartel. The Darksea's kinetic shells are essentially shielded from the laser beam that surrounds them with a shield generator(yes, kinetic rounds that have shields). However, such rounds are expensive, and are used only when needed. At other times, the Darksea fires a combination of kinetic and laser shots from different barrels. At the same time, the Darksea is designed to take a huge amount of damage; in fact even when it is already a wreck its electricity systems and propulsion may still work(and oftentimes, even its warp drive), due to it being powered by a very stable Helium 3 reactor and special protection. Hence, casualties of the Darksea class are low.

Type - Heavy frontal unit

Length - 1.3 km

Fighter capacity - 1,000
Armor plating - Nanocarbon composites
Armor thickness - 15 inches

Vostok Fighter

The mainline fighters of the Commonwealth. They can operate both with and without a pilot, and while they are much more dangerous when a pilot handles the wheel, their Neuros AI's are not to be trifled with.

Nicassir Star Blazer
image.jpg

The Star Blazers are heavily armored ships that specialize in close quarters combat. True to their name, the Star Blazers charge up towards ships smaller than themselves and incinerate them with a healthy blast of plasmatic flame from their frontal blast cannons. Fighters, if caught in the blaze, can be vaporized in an instant, and smaller ships will be severely damaged. Against larger ships, however, the Star Blazer utilizes an array of turret mounted shock batteries to deliver death from long range. Built primarily to protect the Nicassir homeworld from pirate raids, the Star Blazers are a rare sight to behold in the Commonwelath battle fleets.

Fire Dragon Class Interceptor

One of the newest additions to the Star Navy, the Fire Dragons are deadly close range high mobility warships that are armed with a single Flamespire Cannon and three “arms” with which it grabs onto enemy ships and fires its weapon. It is essentially a flying drill that clamps itself into position, and is deadly against both smaller and larger ships.

MiG Heavy Bomber

While seemingly posing as unarmed civilian transports, they have hidden weapons beneath the metallic shells of their hulls. MiG's charge towards the soft spots of enemy ships, and then send their payload of 4 kiloton bombs screaming towards the enemy. MiG's usually attack when the shields of enemy ships have been disabled, and thus their bombs are now more effective. They also have decent protection from interceptors, as they have numerous gun turrets primed to strike down those who chase them.

Super Andromeda Class Heavy Cruiser

Ancient battleships brought back to life, the Risen Class are ancient battleships that were renovated by the Commonwealth humans during the war against the Tagran. Using the fallen ships of ancient abandoned human colonies, they created the Risen Class. Powerful battleships that can destroy scores of enemy ships while taking little damage to its armor. It is especially resistant to laser weaponry, which the Tagran used as if it were drugs. Nowadays, the Risen Class ships function as convoy escorts, deterring any pirate from capturing any cargo for themselves.

Type - Heavy lone tanker
Armor plating - Nanocarbon composites, titanium/platinum alloy
Length - 2 kilometers
Armament - 5x heavy shock battery turrets(triple barreled), 200 auto cannon point defence batteries, 35 missile launchers
Examples: Bermetz, Eternity

Shadow Stalker Class Corvette

Aragane Class Superdreadnought

The products of 100 years of experimentation, the Aragane Class Superdreadnoughts are by far the second most powerful ship class that the Commonwealth has ever created, second only to the Acnologia Class Orbital Titan. It is practically immune to energy based weapons, as it has 3 shield layers that absorb and radiate energized photons in a remarkable rate, making it the greatest nightmare of a foe completely reliant on energy weapons.

Type - Superdreadnought
Armor plating - Adamantium plating
Length - 9 km
Armaments - 10 hexabarreled main turrets, 100 point defense batteries, 50 missile batteries.
Examples: Musashi, Yamato, Kirishima, Hyuga, Koutetsujyu

Long range soldiers with combat suits designated mainly for life support on harsh environments and not for protection. They, however, are deadly at long range with their rifles. Most of the time, they do not have to engage the enemy in close combat, so there is little need for armor.

Tesla Troopers
