Appearance: For those unfortunate enough to face the Archon on the battlefield, one word comes to mind before all others. Monster. Taller than all but the largest of his fellow Jukari, with an impressive pair of spiralling horns crowning an imposing frame - the musculature covering which belies his grace and speed - and a cybernetic jaw fit for an apex predator, Juka Sanjaya is a sight to behold even on his own right. His armour, of course, only contributes to the effect - marked by the countless battles he's lived through, decorated with tally marks and the occasional trophy, and just light enough to make it clear he fears little of what the enemy could send his way.


Personality: It would seem as though it is thirst for battle - the most vicious, personal variety, the kind which sets the heart ablaze and turns blood into ice - is what drives the Archon forward. Revelling in the chaos and danger, he believes that at no point in life does one feel quite as alive as when death is but one mistake away. There, however, lies his true need - and the cause for his ever-mounting frustration. After all, what foe can truly provide him with the thrill of uncertainty, the rush of a great challenge, the sheer joy of having to push his body and spirit as far as they will go in order to succeed? It is the answer to that question which he seeks, with all the enthusiasm he can muster. The other battles - be they duels or purges, simple affairs or grand massacres - are but diversions, to tide him over until the time comes. Although... such good diversions they are.
Sanjaya's search puts him in a somewhat unusual position, as one of the few among his kind to willingly and frequently seek out cooperation with his equals. Sharing glory appeals to few Archons, but it is undeniably a mutually beneficial arrangement - the ability to direct his might is quite useful indeed, and it spares him the need to concern himself with the more tedious part of the search, or the logistics of the operation as a whole. All he expects of his ally is a suitably entertaining assignment.

[SIZE=13.3333px]The life of one such as Sanjaya is, for the most part, a blur - deploy onto a battlefield, destroy the enemy, return to celebrate, prepare to deploy once more. Even within that routine, however, there is plenty of space for socialization. Though Sanjaya may not be the easiest among his kind to be around, his intensity and penchant for glorifying bloodshed somewhat off-putting, he has a way of connecting with those who sympathize with his enjoyment of battle an almost instinctual level. A soul cannot rage eternally - just as a fire cannot burn forever on its own. Thus, Sanjaya holds interest in several disciplines which serve to keep his mind in balance, and allow him to focus and regain strength between each battle. The chief of those pursuits is weaponcraft, in the most traditional sense of the word. To design a blade fit for a purpose, mold it within the heat of the forge, hone it to perfection - it requires keen senses, focus and understanding of its nature and use. It is fury unleashed, power unchecked, blood-lust unending. When the Archon loses himself in the maelstrom of battle, he is a terrifying sight indeed, tearing his way across the battlefield in a bloody path, offering enemies no more mercy than prey receives from a predator, or livestock from a butcher - though here death is the end, not the means, and he derives far more enjoyment from the process than most would dare imagine.[/SIZE]
