Juka Circe / Circe Eleon, Jukari Spientist


Appearance


Unlike most Jukari, Circe has human-shaped mechanical legs and arms which she passes off as prostetics when infiltrating humanity. The legs appear fairly mundane and utilitarian on the outside, but are packed with Jukari technology. She has also amputated her horns, which would be a rather obvious giveaway, and replaced her eyes with mechanical ones designed to look human. She chose green irises. She has olive-tan skin and dark hair, which are also fake/grafted.


Bio


A Jukari Archon with the double duty of pursuing science and espionage, Circe's enthusiasm for the role isolates her from her fellows. The lengths to which she has gone in order to appear human disturb some Jukari, as do rumors of her meddling with blasphemous technology. But, as all Jukari, she only plays the role assigned to her.


Recent events have demonstrated the wisdom of having Jukari like Circe. Someone with knowledge of heresy and humanity will give the empire an edge in their quest to discern the secrets of the ancient tomb. The Jukari will not be surprised by what they do not understand.


Circe does not regret the role for which she was designed. As designed, she approaches her task with hidden enthusiasm and controlled curiosity. She is eager to prove her worth on this mission. Her efforts have improved the efficiency of the Jukari advance in countless ways, but few take note of such subtleties.

Circe carries a careful selection of medical and scientific field equipment which is slightly more advanced than today's experimental technology. Basically, the most advanced tech a 'human' scientist can carry around without drawing too much suspicion. She carries a semi-automatic handgun and several spare clips, along with basic supplies, currency, and documents for several false identities stowed in concealed compartments in her limbs.


For hell-forged tech, her cybernetic eyes (which appear human) can process a wide variety of alternate vision types, similar to Geordi la Forge's visor from Star Trek TNG. They feed this information to a bio-processor which is heavily integrated with her brain so that the two are virtually one system. She uses this to record data and perform simulations at high speeds without having to devote conscious effort to it. In combat, she can use this to calculate probable outcomes, analyze the tactics and capabilities of her enemy, and compute the tactics most likely to succeed. However, she considers this only a secondary function, and is much more interested in using it for behavioral analysis, manipulation, and scientific observations.


*According to Grey, this implant grants +2 dice to Intuition rolls, and for every two successes Circe gets on an Intuition roll to examine something, she'll get a bonus die on Intellect rolls to analyze that information.
