  Kazemi has red markings under her eyes which she paints on, claiming them to be an intimidation factor, but also a bold statement. As for clothing she dons strange headband with fox ears on it and a black haori with red at the bottom and sakura flowers scattered along the back and sleeves. Right in the middle of the back is a kitsune mask. The sword she carries is pale blue in color with a wispy fox design etched into the blade along with demon (悪魔) and destroy (破壊) kanji on her hilt. The guard on the sword is a cloud shape.

  PERSONALITY

  ❝Having your head in the clouds, even for just a few minutes each day, is good for your mind, good for your body, and good for your soul❞

  Kazemi is a level-headed individual with a strong sense of justice. She is firm in her believes and rarely can be swayed. Standing strong and staying calm are two major qualities that she has. She is a hard one to shake even in her most desperate moments. While she can get reckless when put under immense pressure, she still manages to attack logically and always follows her heart. She refuses to back down when challenged and will make sure she protects whatever she can. Her tactical sense is quite strong and she is quick at making plans on the fly. Her ability to assess others quickly is also a key part of her character. Usually she is a good judge of character and often can judge a person's strengths upon seeing them in action once. This helps her in formulating plans to play not only to her strengths, but to the strengths of those around her as well. Aside from this Kazemi is a rather indifferent person. She can be nice when she feels the time calls for it, but she can also be rude. This applies towards her fellow Hashira as well. While she respects people's strength, that doesn't mean she necessarily respects them as a person. One must prove themselves to her to gain that kind of respect. Those that are kind towards her will receive kindness back and the same goes for rudeness. She likes to treat others the way they treat her, though she won't stoop to overly cruel tactics unless her own life is being put on the line. There is a line that she won't cross and harming others is part of that. Apart from this, Kazemi does have her moments that seem out of character - such as becoming aloof amidst of a conversation. Getting lost in her own mind isn't common, but also isn't a rarity, especially if she finds a conversation too boring for her liking. Overall, she is a respectable lady who seeks to put her life on the line to keep others safe and to bring her justice to the world.
• BACKSTORY

  ❝At every sunset, the sky is a different shade. No cloud is ever in the same place. Each day is a new masterpiece. A new wonder. A new memory❞

  
  Kazemi was born the eldest daughter of the wealthiest family in a small village in the south end of Japan. Her family was well respected because of this and she was always raised to be a proper lady in preparations that she would be given off to marry a son from one of the other rich families. However, when she was eight, a small group of demons arrived in the village and quickly took control. They kept themselves hidden and quickly won favor of the people, allowing themselves to gain power and money.
  
  Nobody suspected a thing, but when they pushed Kazemi’s family and the other from their high standing, things in the village changed. The group led the people harshly and often villagers went missing without a trace. It was unsettling. For many years, it was how Kazemi was forced to live. She simply had to bow her head and keep pushing forward. It wasn’t until she was twelve that things changed. One of the villagers discovered that the three were demons and tried to rally a bunch of the villagers together to fight them, her family being one of the ones approached. In order to keep them in line, the man that had tried to stand against them was murdered and her family, much like others, was threatened. The threat wasn’t death directly from them, but rather to have the eldest child of each family turn into a demon to kill them.
  
  That threat was what triggered something in Kazemi and she decided to take action. She figured out where the demons stayed during the day, knowing they were weak to sunlight, and she made a small stake to stab them with. It wasn’t much and she told no one, but she put her plan into action only three days after the threat. Attacking the demon’s house during the day, she took one by surprise and managed to stab him through the stomach while the others watched. Neither made an attempt to stop her, thinking the third would be able to handle a child easily. That was their mistake. A young, struggling Kazemi dragged the stabbed demon across the house. As much as he wiggled about and kicked her, she refused to let in. Kazemi managed to drag the demon outside and let his body burn in front of the villagers that were out.
  
  Once he was gone, she collected the stake once again and prepared to go back in to kill the next one. Unlike the first one, the other two didn’t stand around this time and attacked the child on her return, however they had not prepared for a Demon Slayer to show up. Having heard of the demon activity in the village, a kinoto had been sent to investigate and because of Kazemi she was able to locate the other demons and kill them, all while protecting the young girl. Seeing the slayer in action drove Kazemi to wanting to join the corps. Despite her family’s pleas, she begged the slayer to take her with so she could train to join them. The woman accepted and Kazemi left her village behind to begin her training in water breathing. While she would join the corps as a water breather, she would later create Cloud Breathing after practicing under a high ranking thunder breather. Converting the focus on leg strength into arm strength, she combined both thunder and water to create cloud, which would be her signature style moving forward.
  
  She believes her actions against the demons were done in a selfish manner and she was lucky a Demon Slayer had shown up to bail her out, otherwise more people would have died from her actions. Her friends insist she made the right decision, telling her she protected so many people because of the choice she made. He tells her that she was brave and strong and that she shouldn’t think of it otherwise. It also allowed her to join the slayers, where countless more lives were saved because of her. Despite how conflicted she is with her actions, she was able to rise in the ranks and became the first Cloud Hashira. Eventually, this led her to being picked to lead the new team the corps formed.

• CLOUD BREATHING

  Breath of Clouds / Cloud Breathing (a style originated from water and thunder breathing) : a style that focuses on arm strength to slash/stab their enemies. its movements are fluid and give off the impression of being soft, but are very powerful because of the arm strength required.

  form one: accumulated focus

  Kazemi collects all her focus into this technique which allows her to focus on getting stronger/faster, heightening her senses and reaction time (depending on how focused / the state her body is in). With this skill she is able to match the speed and strength of the demons she is facing. This skill has a high skill ceiling and constantly can be worked on improving

  Form Two: Clear Skies

  A technique that allows Kazemi to scout out an area and see what is around her. This skill gives her a general idea of not only the layout of an area, but where enemies are positioned

  Form Three: Flowing Cirrus

  Kazemi performs six consecutive slashes in front or around herself, covering a large area

  Form Four: Vicious Downpour

  Kazemi performs a single strike at the same location repeatedly, getting faster and stronger with each swing she makes

  Form Five: Strato Shield

  An ability that allows Kazemi to slow or even fully block an oncoming attack with a single sword slash

  Form Six: Raining Cumulonimbus

  Kazemi jumps above her enemy and repeating stabs downward at them, causing a flurry attack

  Form Seven: Thunderous Cloud

  Kazemi runs towards the enemy in a zigzag pattern to gain momentum before making a singular slash at the enemy (preferably the neck). The impact of this move can cause massive damage. When this attack lands it is usually accompanied by a thunderous boom

  Form Eight: Eye of the Storm

  With this technique, Kazemi jumps into the air and performs a spinning attack which gains enough momentum over time to perform a powerful downward slash that slices the target to shreds. This move cuts enemies quickly and is hard to counter given the speed she moves at
