Edmond was a bit shocked as Cameron started yelling at him. Apparently, his "girlfriend" had decided to quiet him down, but he still had questions to answer. He'd answer them after Joel was finished with his, and after the girl quit being so angry. "So... You have a real imaginary friend." He wondered out loud. "That sounds... Incredibly ridiculous!" He exclaimed. "What kind of trash is that? Am I to believe-" He could see that both of the kids were looking at Joel, so he looked back at him. No, their gazes were slightly offset! "I am to believe this, aren't I? And you two!" He pointed at the kids. "You share the same type of ability he does, correct? This, 'imaginary friend'. You seem to be able to see his while I cannot. Is this some kind of exclusive spiritual connection that allows you to comprehend others' 'imaginary friends' as well?" His questions were numerous and difficult. "I guess you two won't just freely tell me, huh." He shrugged. Well, he guessed it was time to redo his explanation of his current situation.
"Take notes if you need, because I don't want to repeat this spiel for a third time." He said, before clearing his throat. "I am a vampire. I was a tourist- A kid like you." He said, pointing at Cameron now. "Me and my parents had entered an alleyway like this one, and were cut down by a random thug. He wanted not money, valuables, or anything other than to test something in his possession. He stabbed me and my parents to death, but put a stone mask onto my face." He fished it out of his pocket again, and held it out to them. "After absorbing my blood, it pierced my brain and gifted me with power unimaginable at the cost of my humanity. Now, I hide away from the sun and drain the living of their blood. My assailant was a gangster, belonging to the same gang as the other man I was originally tailing. One of you probably saw him, and what I did to him." He said, pointing to the severed arm on the ground. "The man deserved death, and I was willing to give him his reward if goody-two shoes over here didn't stop me." He emphasized the insulting nicknamed he had given to Joel, and glared at him. "Now then, do you two have imaginary friends of your own?" He asked, until Joel said he was leaving.
"I shall go with you after I hear from them. I would kill to have a bath and wash my clothes." He said. Whether he was speaking figuratively or literally was hard to determine. "I smell of nothing but blood. As a vampire, well, I can only say it only feels like always smelling steak while you're hungry. God, my clothes are all stained permanently, aren't they?" He asked himself.
