He was a archer and scout and was inducted into the rangers at the age of 17. While on a scouting mission he was captured by an alliance patrol. Once he was brought back to the alliance camp they cut his right pointer finger, and middle finger off to make sure if he escaped he couldnt draw a boasting again. He escaped one night with several other prisoners after they forgot to seal a mages magic up. When he got back he was forced to retire but given enough money to start a small Tavern in a new town
