For all intensive purposes, Jacqueline embraces her sassy spunk. Her outfits change constantly, from cute girly outfits to boots and fingerless gloves. The same goes for her hairstyle. Now that she's settled on blond, she loves to experiment with it. Straight, wavy, curly, she's tried them all. She has two eyebrow piercings that, if anything, add to her overall attitude. She wears the amount of makeup that seems appropriate to the situation, but will most often opt for mascara and eyeliner. Her fingernails are more often than not painted, usually in a silver or sparkly black polish. Jacqueline doesn't really wear jewelry all that much if it's not her piercings.

Personality:

If you wanted flirty, you got it. Jacqueline has no filter when it comes to sexual connotations and saying "wink wink" out loud. Should she find someone who genuinely interests her, she will begin the process of flirting. Yeah, a relationship would be nice. But she never expressly said that a short fling wasn't okay, now, did she? But she'll only get into it if she's interested in the person, and if they're interested in her. If the person's only into her looks, she'll drop them before they can get a kiss. She hates being seen as nothing more than an object.

When she's not flirting, Jackie's attempting to be as ironic as possible. Irony is her favorite thing ever, and so she looks for it everywhere she goes. When she gets right down to it, she most often enjoys discussions about science. It's her best subject in school, especially since she wants to become a doctor someday. Anyone who shares a similar dream automatically gains her respect, and she doles out random nicknames like she doles out flirting.

As for music, Jackie is quite fond of acapella. It fascinates her.

Historical Background

History:

The most interesting thing about Jacqueline's early life in Brussels was her assistance in delivering her baby brother. The midwife was late, and everyone else was panicking. Six-year-old Jackie, however, immediately took charge, bossing the others around until they finally snapped out of their daze and did what she said. Somehow, she managed to successfully deliver the baby, and do everything a doctor normally would. It was like she had this strange instinct that allowed her to do it.

After the whole endeavor, Jacqueline's parents started pushing her to study hard to become a doctor. Who were they to dictate what her life should be? She'd do what she wanted to, and that was final. Ironically, she actually wanted to become a doctor, anyway, for herself more than for her parents. It was then that her real struggle with her parents began in earnest. She was only eight years old.

The family was very well off and living comfortably. Her parents were snobs, and her older sister was like them. Her younger brother, however, took after Jackie, and followed in rebelling against their parents. They were quite the duo, and did everything they could to avoid having to do what their parents said. However, neither her sister nor her brother were pressured the way Jackie was. The delivery of her brother had proved to them that she had a natural talent for things like those. Whenever anyone in the family had a cold, she was considered the primary caretaker, which both angered her and made her happy.

By the time she was a teenager, Jackie made a decision to rebel further and began smoking. Surprisingly, she found she enjoyed it, and continued to do so in both an effort to be ironic and to look cool. She never did drugs, she never drank alcohol, but she smoked. A lot. And yet, her lungs were somehow fine, which was weird, even to her. The least that could happen is that her doctor advise her to stop, but he didn't. He was too baffled.

It was around this time that one of the maids pointed out the birthmark-turned-tattoo on her spine. When asked, she replied that no, she hadn't gotten a tattoo as an act of rebellion. It was her birthmark. She passed it off as some weird occurrence of biology, but Jackie knew better. There was something going on here, and she was determined to find out what exactly it was. But...where to start?

In any case, Jackie did well in school, especially her science classes. Teachers were very impressed with her intrigue and skill in the subject, and soon she was accelerated in her classes, learning from the best of the best. Her parents had told her to become a doctor, and by golly, she was on the track to do so, but with an added dream. If she could help it, Jackie would be the doctor to cure cancer.

By then, Jackie had a boyfriend. He was good to her, and she him. They made jokes about her being his doctor, and she actually thought she loved him at one point. That is, until she found out he'd been cheating on her with not one, but five girls. When she found out, she slapped him across the face and stormed away. Jackie had given him everything (yes, that means exactly what it seems like it means), and he'd thrown it away as if it was nothing. Maybe that was what eventually caused her to start flirting shamelessly, but nobody could really know. It was clear, however, that the experience had scarred her in some way.

Yeah, Jackie's life hasn't been terrible. That doesn't mean she won't complain every now and then. But, hey, at least she got to leave because of the letter from this weird university, right?

Healing Smoke
Smoke is bad for you, right? With Jackie, that's actually wrong. If she blows smoke in someone's face, whatever ails them will immediately go away or heal. She can't do this with severe injuries or someone who's dying. The most she can do is heal minor cuts and sprained ankles.
Diagnosis via Touch
If Jackie lays a hand on your shoulder, hand, etc, she will be able to tell you if something's wrong with you. This only works if she's specifically checking for illness and if she's genuinely worried about the person's well-being.

Skills:
First Aid
This girl knows everything there is to know about first aid, CPR, and all that stuff. Go to her if you sprain an ankle.
Science Nerd
In case you couldn't tell, Jackie knows a lot about science, and especially human anatomy. It could come in handy sometime.
