The Purple Soul
No One Expected the Bombing.
It was after WW2, and still the island was almost completely decimated by the explosions that gripped it by the helm. De Pausa Isle had a small village on it, yes, but a village nonetheless. People were killed, and the island was sanctioned off from any visitors.
Overtime, however, legends began to grow.
On the island, at the top of its highest hill, sat Seven Sisters Sanatorium. It was known for its reputation, one of great prestige and greatness. Nothing suspicious was ever reported, it was sanitary, and all patients were cured of their ailments in as healthily a way as possible.
On the day of the bombing, there was a party being held by the staff and the able patients of their 50th anniversary open.
They all died on the fatal hour, with only a moments notice.
The legend goes that they never closed, though. That the staff somehow survived and the place still runs to this day. Steadily, but unstable.
And something else resides there as well. A sickness that can never be cured. A place that would be free from its grasp...
But you don't believe in that of course. You've only come to the isle because of the tragic beauty it contains, which you'd like to get some photos of.
Because those kind of things only happen in movies.
