the lore behind it is beings of a certain level settle their disputes without ever lifting a finger. The sheer mana of two clashing gods can overwhelm and kill eachother. Only a select few actually learn what mana is. And of those select few, even fewer manage to not be swept away by the likes of the rulers of the universe.

that being said, what the queen is trying to do is make Lila engage with the fundementals of mana control. think of it as you know how to walk instinctively, but actually knowing the mechanics of the brain signals, muscles, health related to maintenance, and other concerns is a much more daunting.

and at this point, the queen is saying, your understanding of mana is zilch, nada, zip :3

Think of it like being a nooobie coder trying to do arm or other lowest level programming languages that concern themselves with the actual functions of the machine. And now you're being told to fix a bug that takes elite google engineers time to assess and fix.

she is being attacked by mana vibrations and has to stop them. to stem something, is to stop. and youre being told to stop them or the plot will move in a different direction to teach her how to.

The mana reverberations would slowly become more intense, like a slowly upping the amperes on a speaker. "Sense the flow, then Stem it, girl".

Darkbloom 1 more post with the demon king encounter, then we should be narratively wrapped up. I had an extra section ready,but it would make more sense if everyone was able to speak to him before he meets the void king or feels his gaze.

CasualTea I tried a different appraoch this time and gave Lila the answer. If you want to give her the bird and complete the challenge a different way or take the advice, up to you. we should finish with your first challenge and get you some stat points to mana sensitivity after I respond to your next post. tbh it isn't, but we're on the baby steps for high level battles.
