And it is done. A bit haphazardly with the backstory but I think it's good enough.
<3 I will check out the character thread if it's done.
Bacon is fluffy Bacon is fluffy So how quick do you think Casual Tea can join
when he is ready. we will incorporate him in the next cycle or two.
We only have like four characters in this plot

Wonder if that makes it easier on Bacon is fluffy Bacon is fluffy ?
This is a good group size but ill always try to take on whoever wants to play. :)

I'm more interested in what you can come up with ic. my two questions are:

1. are you ready to jump in now
2. what's your isekai'd power, if it's exists? If it's related to imagination, explain a bit about it pleaase

also fill this out and put at the bottom of your posts

strength
dexterity
mana
mana sensitivity
aura sensitivity

i can be ready to jump anytime.

the isekai'd power is just being able to use magic in the most obnoxious way possible. Like if you look at the 4th/Combat Data tab, at the bottom there is a spoiler containing a list of spells she could use. Initially having actual names to the spells and then towards the end there are just spells that are the most miscellaneous stuff ever like "wetting your socks", "making edibles taste sweeter/shittier"
That could be either she learned it from this world or something she came up with on the fly after some research and experimentation. Maybe to further explain, she can make a simple spell easily but if it's a more complex spell, it'll take more research and experimentation.

in fact, those stats i can instead just implement them into the CS using the stat bars on the first tab. but could you fill me in what aura sensitivity is? and aura?

Alright are you gonna collab with gears and gaius? :3

Second okay I didnt know the diamonds were tabs haha. I was on my phone and only read the appearance and the quote about magic. Although I am very flexible when it comes to magic, I am mostly looking for process and logic on how it works. Think chakra rules from naruto if you know them or bleach rules. Something that governs their creation and flow. I can further explain those two if need be, but my general use and conception personally has been:

1. Magic is formed from circles, which dictate their flow, image, and use. Flow refers to how the mana moves within the caster and how its molded by the calculations of the circles. images refers to manifestation according to the mage's internal mental image and use refers to a combation of the flow of mana external and internal coalescing accordnig to the rules of the circle to become what the mage wants it to become.

a spell can be free formed but is weaker as it was made without intent. A named spell is based on a circle.
the circle can be entirely imagined in the caster's mind but they must have the photographic memory or muscle memory to call upon it. still must gather the mana and execute the calcuations in their minds as well.

2. Mana is in all things, it flows toward areas with less mana naturally and is directed by the will of the caster.
3. aura refers to a person's natural power. it can be weapon arts that lets a man cut steel or the ability to sense the presence of others.

now that ive put this to paper, what I want to hear is how you imagine your spells to work. its fine if theyre different than my conception. it's pretty open ended but all is based in rules and in order to break the rules, requires process as well. for instance, human blood is canonically used to break the rules of the world, but i havent really made it a story point yet.

but ya sorry I didnt read most of it last night, but I have now. its even better now that ive seen it all. I like the spells list too. you are awesome <3

That's actually a pretty good explanation. I could use that in Lila's case in which magic to her is like coding. You can make magic do whatever you want it to do as long as you use the right language to translate it accurately into a magic circle in order for it to execute correctly the way you want it. I think a more better explanation how Lila's isekai'd gift works is that she can understand magic more fluently which allows her to analyze, research and experiment with new magics all from her head. She'll still be looking for grimoires in order to quickly obtain knowledge as it is just copying someone else's notes.

I suppose it also allows her to recite spells in her head without having to verbally say it out loud and/or take too much time forming it, though it will only apply to spells she's frequently used or just is that simple to form.

And as we initially intended, yes I can collab with gears and gaius. Just lemme know when you want me to start.

good way to think of free form vs named spells is a named spell can siphon the souls of an entire settlement or save them all with a holy barrier. A named spell can apply a deadly or debilitating curse that cant be healed. a named spell can freeze an army or summon fantastical creatures.

while a free form spell made entirely from on the fly image and mana control can maybe at be create a homing arrow for an archer or apply elemental damage to it. and high tier characters 500+ stats and above and create a machine gun flurry of magic missiles, create weak curses, and communicate through mana alone. It depends on specialization and development. we all start off at 0-10 which is human level.

100 is closer to peak
200 is super human
300 is a scary mage
500 is arch mage
past this you're generally considered a grand mage and a weapon.

I'll see if I can get one out tonight but if not, then I'll definitely be able to do it tomorrow unless it'd be better to wait next round for ya'll.
