Alice had gotten up a little late, yawning softly. She hadn't really had any time to interact with her roommate at all but she was feeling slightly cold and hungry as she got out of the bed. Getting dressed back into her yukata and grabbing her mask, she decided she would basically v-line for the Cafeteria to get breakfast since she knew where it was, maybe Camille was there too. She grabbed an empty shoulderbag and decided to head to the library first despite it being early, there were some things she wanted to look for first.

After hurrying to the library, getting slightly lost along the way, she started browsing the many stocks of books to find what she was looking for. She noticed not that many others around, maybe it was earlier than she thought, stumbling around the many mind-boggling categories before stumbling some books which catered to what she was looking for. Designing, partially for her little 'fan' idea as well as material and design ideas for clothes, she had some things she wanted to play around with sitting inside her head. After mild struggles trying to reach and get the books she wanted, she quickly hurried to take them out, giggling softly with contempt as she put them in the bad and headed out to the place she remembered most where it was; le food nomnom place.

She walked into the Cafeteria, not recognising anyone around as she waddled up innocently to the counter, giving money and getting her toast before sitting off in her own little corner of the Cafeteria, keeping away from strangers as she ate and pulled out one of the books, occasionally giving curious glances around. She didn't have the mask on today, so she would be recognisable. In other thoughts, she forgot to ask which room was Camille staying in yesterday. What? It's for, pff, friendship reasons.

Cassius awoke with a start, jerking forwards and almost accidentally throwing the top half of his body off of the bed he had just been sleeping on. He was breathing heavily, shakily taking in large gulps of air, feeling terribly warm, a sheen of sweat on his forehead. He could hear the rapid beating of his heart thumping away, and a tingling in his fingers. Cassius cast his blanket to the side as he felt the familiar feeling of this hot flash that faded away into cold and chills that had him shivering. This always happens after he overexerts his magic, the memory of that man screaming and burning as Cassius unleashed his fire for the first time was branded into his mind now after having to recall it so many times. It was the price he had to pay for allowing his inner fire to burn too bright, to almost consume him. Fire is alive, it breathes, it grows and it will spread and destroy everything in its path if one does not have the will to control it. He knew this, he had been taught this, heard it a dozen times. But he supposed he just didn't have the will. Cassius let out a heavy sigh, looking down to his left arm that was now wrapped in white linen bandage. It wasn't the first time he'd burnt himself with his own magic, and considering how stubborn he was, it probably wouldn't be the last time. Plus, the guy he used his magic on had it coming. Some arrogant noble prick who thought he could pick on the commoner. Thankfully, they'd managed to come to an understanding...one that neither of them would be mentioning to the school authorities anytime soon.

He tried to return to sleep, but the dull throbbing pain of his arm kept him from being able to drift off. Besides, he'd have to get to class soon anyways, and he'd always been an early riser. Well, not always, but in this life, he had. The other life felt mostly irrelevant to him now anyways, a lot of the time when he thought about his previous existence, he didn't even feel like that guy was the same person. After a few more moments of thought while lying in bed, he pulled himself out of it and went to sit at the small table in his and Mason's room, pulling out a book and flipping through it with his still-good hand. When he had awoken enough to hold a conversation, Cassius would look up from his book with an amused grin. "So, you get that threesome yet?"

Despite the change of location to the greatest magic academy in Cathonia, the morning started as any other with only some slight dissonance. Originally, he wasn't that much of an early bird, and to be honest he still wasn't. Still, he had forced the habit of waking up early as a proper noble should in his mind and gotten used to fighting off his lazy urges so that it was not much of an issue as of now. As he managed to drag himself from the sweet embrace of his bed, he managed to find that his roommate Theodore had already woken up before himself and left. While Gyleon had disliked him before, now he just thought of Theodore as strange as he only showed up when it was just about curfew as well. Nonetheless, this arrangement of a roomate was tolerable since he could now enjoy the room mostly to himself without having to hide somewhere like the library to have peace and quiet. With thoughts such as these, he made his way to the bathroom to get cleaned up.

Showers were another one of Gyleon's weaknesses. He had to make it a habit of making them somewhat cool for himself otherwise his thoughts would wander too much and spend an excessive amount of time inside. Another factor was that after finding himself with water magic, he constantly wanted to train himself as he cleaned but avoided doing so due to similar reasons. Even though he fought these urges, he still sometimes sunk into them sometimes and even then he was rather particular about his cleanliness, hygiene, and appearance so he still ended up taking a rather decent amount of time. One use of magic he allowed himself during this time was after he finally finished, he did allow himself to use his magic to dry himself as it was more efficient than using a towl or waiting for what he missed to dry out.

Finally Gyleon managed to get through the process of perfectly straightening his hair and getting dressed and making sure nothing is off or wrinkled. Although he doesn't go out of his way to stand out, in fact despising overly show styles, Gyleon still placed importance on appearance to be seen as proper and capable as his position would have him. It seemed even though he took his time, there was still plenty of time to relax and get ahead on his reading so he was prepared for classes.

Unfortunately life had other plans for Gyleon, as it rather often did for him, someone knocking on his door a bit after he started his reading. It was a bit of a strange situation as he didn't believe anyone that had met him on the first day would visit and he doubted and hoped it wasn't security after the incident with Miranda. There was really only one person that he imagined would bother him so soon and so early and he dearly hoped he was in fact wrong. With hesitation and worry he made himself get up and answer the door to find out for sure.

Once again the world laughed at Gyleon as he was brought face to face with the dreaded Yekaterina Van Der Zee. She was a beautiful young woman aged 17 with soft lightly browned skin with aqua blue hair and eyes to match. Although his memory had lost the exact details of when they had met, he had soon met the girl after she had been a commoner girl taken in my the Baroness Van Der Zee. The Baroness was a woman who was friendly with his mother and taken in Yekaterina for yet unknown reasons to his understanding, and due to his mother, they often met when they were younger. More precisely, the girl chased and harassed the young Gyleon who wanted nothing to do with her beyond pleasantries with whatever it is she decided she was curious or wanted to talk about that day.On top of that, as she got older, she decided she wanted to take after his formal manner of speech that didn't suit her and started trying to act as if she was some sort of older sister to him as well despite there only being an age difference of one year.

Although his judgement of Yekaterina was rather harsh, Gyleon did have to grudgingly admit she was the only person closest enough to him to viably be considered a friend. If not for his natural aversion to her amplifying her faults, she would actually be a potential fiance with her smarts, beauty, and kind personality; though he would sooner die than actually admit that or anything positive he finds in her. On top of everything else he had also met one of his other acquaintances Galine Geas, through her due to their friendship as well.

Gyleon could on making a dissatisfied face on seeing Yekaterina and let out a tired sigh. He had to fight back the possibility of letting his actual self slip through as he began speaking to her, as her presence often encouraged. "So it's you Yekaterina. I thought i had been forgotten after you hadn't hounded me down our first day." Though he acted like this was preferred, he was actually slightly disappointed about that fact and slightly lonely the year she had been gone, though only semi-conscious of that fact and not going to say so even if he was fully aware. "I'm currently busy so tell me what it is you need." Although his tone was challenging and disinterested, he held no malice as this was their usual interaction. After getting past the initial politeness this type of behavior had been cause of a fight in which he had to be the one chasing her down for once, grudgingly and sheepishly apologizing to her multiple times and tell her he liked her and that she was his friend.

Mason had been awake for nearly an hour before dawn, when he heard his roommate scream in panic. This was almost a daily occurrence for them since they were bunked together. A tinge of sorrow willed the noble at his friend's pain as he lied there listening to his panicked shallow breaths, but slowly began to even out. After a while Cassius would be the first out of bed, already at the small table with a book open. After a few minutes the firemage asked him something that cause the marquis to nearly roll off of his bed laughing.

Calming down, with a smirk plastered on his face, he shook his head. "Sorry my friend but that just ain't in the cards. Royalty and their precious manogomy and such. Not to mention the brother would have burned me alive if i hit on his sister." He said quickly getting dressed before looking at the sweaty and chilled form of his friend and roommate. "Holy hell, you look like shit... Another nightmare huh?" Mason said going into his closet/brewery and pulling out a few things, before mixing away. After a minute he set down two glasses of beige liquid. "A little cold brew kentuky coffee with a splash of the cream liquor. Aught to help get ya pepped up for the day." Mason said taking a swig of his own before washing out the equipment in the bathroom sink. With that done, he finished his morning beans and booze and set out to the dining hall. There was left over cold fried chicken to be consumed, and waffles to be devoured.

Cassius grinned at his friends laughter, which washed away the unease and terror that had been running through his veins and causing his heart to race. His breaths were steadier now, and he grabbed a nearby towel to wipe some of the sweat away. He still looked somewhat disheveled and weary, with slightly sunken eyes, but that was pretty much his usual look anyways. Not just because of the nightmares and the dull pain of his burns, a lot of the time he just stayed up too late fruitlessly digging through ancient tomes searching for even the briefest mention of dark magic. "Well, that's too bad." He said with a chuckle at Mason's mention of the lack of threesome, though his amusement faded away when Alex mentioned the nightmare. Anxious was not really a word that would usually describe Cassius, but it fit at the moment as he shifted awkwardly in his seat, looking away. He would've preferred to just ignore it, maybe then it'd be like it hadn't really happened. He hated thinking about it, it made him feel weak, feel like there was something wrong with him.

But they moved on quickly, Alex whipping up one of his trademark drinks and depositing it in front of Cassius. The fire mage took a long swig of it, feeling his tired body rejuvenate. "Mmm. Thanks." he said. If he was being honest, sometimes he felt like he didn't deserve Mason, he was just too...loyal, too much of a good friend. Cassius wasn't sure what he'd do without him, and was very thankful they had become roommates. If he'd been alone in his own room he'd probably have worked himself to death already. But Cassius moved on from these annoying mushy thoughts quickly, quickly marking the page in his book before getting up and following after Alex. Cassius grimaced as he briefly looked over at his left arm, covered in bandage that was now slightly bloody. He quickly threw on his robe and pulled his sleeve down over it, though it could still be seen if you looked closely enough.

Stifling a yawn, tears at the corners of her eyes, Viola made her way down her dormitory. She felt sleepier than usual, which was odd as normally she would consider herself a morning person amongst everyone. Perhaps she should not have stayed too late that night speaking with friends, she wondered how they were. Yesterday was simply...amazing to put! She had met so many people, all lovely in her eyes. And today was going to be yet another fantastic day.

As she peeked through the cafeteria, her eyes immediately lit up. Viola had always loved the cafeteria, the food aside, the liveliness of the place never failed to cheer her up. There was simply so much joy, so much laughter. And so many people that even she often found herself losing track.

Noé has perhaps overslept, again, and not that it came off much a surprise to her. A bit disappointed, perhaps, as she was used to her twin waiting for her...or does she usually wait for him? Since she's...the one who wakes up earlier. That made sense. She really needed to get her sleep schedule fixed up.

Viola was on her way to the counter, paying for a wrapped tuna sandwich and a cup of iced tea, when her eyes locked to someone.

"Alice!"

She beamed, waving at the raven haired girl. The two only met yesterday, yet Viola immediately assumed they were friends, and that she liked her. Not that it was very special, as she found herself liking nearly everyone. Trusting and positive, that was how she liked to live her life. Immediately she went towards her, slipping upon the seat next to her without asking.

"Hi! How did you sleep?" She grinned, tilting her head to her side. "We did not get to talk much yesterday, but it was so nice to meet you! Are you liking it here?"

Was he late? He should not have been late. It was not as though he would have cared if Viola had to wait for him a bit longer, no one had told her to wake up in such an ungodly hour anyway. And yesterday? Yesterday was awful.

Too many people, too little time. He had not known why Viola was so insitive of him to follow her around as she made her ritual to greet new comers. There were still many among their year that they- well, at least he, did not recognize. He did not see the point.

Setting his hat upon his head, the choker that his twin had so insisted looking more like a collar than anything, Noé took a final sip out of his cup, the tea that had now became so cold slid down his throat. He slipped on his coat, making his way outside and stretching. Maybe he should have tried to hide his eye bags a little better. This image would not have been well for him, especially as a well known member of the royal family.

As he descended the stairs, Noé went into a halt when he saw a familiar face. As though he had not enough interaction with the man yesterday. He wanted nothing to deal with him, especially so early in the morning when he just wanted to get to the dining area as fast as possible, get a quick breakfast and make haste. A black coffee, perhaps, too.

He was about to turn around and pretend he had forgotten something, but when their eyes met, he knew it would have been useless. "Mason," he regarded, walking towards him, and hopefully, through. He looked at the male behind him, and nodded at him, too, tipping his head. Dang he had forgotten his name. "And you, er- Roomate guy. Calcium."

After having successfully arrived in the cafeteria via his hunger guided nose, Griffin addressed the envelope in his pocket...or rather envelopes since opening the first produced a letter and a second envelope labeled 'me first'...still in Anna's handwriting. The contents were simply some cash...and a tiny note in the handwriting of his other sister,Jean, because you'll have waited until breakfast to read this. Either his elder sister was shockingly perceptive...or clairvoyant, regardless the aide was appreciated since it dawned on him that his own money was left in one of the military packs in his room. After a silent thanks to his favorite older sister Griffin dove into the food line. He piled his tray with the necessities: a mass of potatoes, easily a dozen eggs, an overly large bowl of something vaguely resembling oatmeal buried under a mound of fruit, a tower of toast, enough meat to make most people wonder if he had a second stomach, a couple glasses of milk, and a pitcher of water. Everything required for a balanced and hearty breakfast. There was no change after he made his purchase...Jean may not have magic...but she's definitely psychic was his verdict.

With great care to not disturb the delicate balance of his overladen meal, he made his way to a table he belatedly realized to not be as empty as he thought. A pair of exceedingly short women (at least to his mind) already sat there. The pair consisted of a short ginger (something he found strange in contrast to his own authentically crimson locks) and an even shorter girl with raven black hair. 'Were they very young...or just past dwarf' flickered through his mind as he sat down. His throat however rumbled, "This spot is not taken?"

Despite the intention of it being a question, the habitual clip of a field officer to his voice resulted in something more of a declaration as he sat down since there hadn't been an immediate denial to his presence...a brief pang at the realization of his own lack of proper courtesy kicked in shortly thereafter. An apologetic look crossed his face at he fumbled for words and after two failed attempts at words he succeeded, "Apologies...Griffin Chadston... this is my first time eating as a civilian..." he let the sentence trail off. After all, his tour yesterday had proven repeatedly that unlike his family...most other Houses didn't enlist their children from their fifth year onwards. Then again, it appeared other Houses didn't produce children strong enough to handle a straight jump like that either...Jean, being a runt was naturally exempt. He fought the urge to hide behind his food, or more importantly the letter of his eldest sister... but given he had quite literally just walked up and claimed an end of the table...it was best he actually listen to their response.

Alice continued nibbling on the buttered toast in her mouth, flipping through and looking at the pages of different materials and designs throughout the world of Cathonia, even noticing the Landon name showing up occasionally, now that explained a little. She was slightly distracted for a moment, hearing someone clearly saying her name, a small squeak of surprise as she quickly looked up nervously to see who it was. Not recognising the faceless female voice at first, she grew a little sheltered before noticing Viola coming towards her. Oh, royalty. Yay. Totally not sarcasm. Viola wasn't bad by any means, she just had sensitivities with the epithet of royalty, probably a somewhat mixture between jealousy and shame that she wasn't royalty herself.

"O-oh, uh, yes I did sleep well" Alice smiled softly, not really taking it to mind that Viola sat right next to her, looking at the pages before pulling out some small pieces of paper from her bag, clearly her ideas of blueprints which were... very novice and drawn out to say the least, but she was obviously trying to figure out how to make the fans she was conceptualizing in her head yesterday, but it was harder than she thought. There was a small folded up piece of paper she accidentally pulled out which was left on the table as well, which were design ideas for clothes in case her kimono got a little uncomfortable or she wanted a change of pace. Some were just random or sort of fancy dress, but it also included a design for a sailor outfit like that of a stereotypical Japanese schoolgirl which made her blush whenever she saw the drawing and immediately turn away from it. Back to the original point, yes she did sleep well. She luckily didn't have any spooky scary nightmares last night. "It's okay here, but it's still all a bit overwhelming... and all the people is kinda unnerving" she answered quietly, glancing around the Cafeteria before looking back down at the book.

A small squeak of surprise as she jumped a little, looking way up at Griffin as he had appeared so suddenly to her. Alice really had oughta learn to expect people, she always got spooked just by people walking up to her. "U-uh, n-no-" she murmured quietly to his request, already seeing him sitting down anyway and just shrivelling up a little. What was with all the food? Was he intending to share to make friends, he seriously didn't need that much right? I mean, her dad probably would... but this person just here she just randomly encountered? No way. Something was bugging her slightly, something about this very tall man was so familiar but she just couldn't figure out why. Then, after his introduction was when she realised, the Chadston house! How could you forget a family name called Chadston? He was... sort of there being royalty, she didn't know how monarchy from wherever he resided worked, nor much about him or the Chadston house in general, she just recognised the name... was she going to encounter ALL od the royalties, really? Even the ones that may or may not technically be royalty? What next, was Camille about to fashionably reveal his real luxurious tuxedo and attire and reveal he is a king of a far off land all along? "Oh, h-hi, I'm Alice of the Lorewerth household, and this is uh, Viola, of the... Argent, household... royalty," she murmured softly, gesturing to Viola a little, she finds doing such a noble introduction to people who are essentially a higher nobility to her pointless, and besides, she didn't find it a necessity to begin with.

She softly glanced up at Griffin before down to her book and novice blueprints, "sorry if I'm a little distracted... " she said softly to both Griffin and Viola, her finger trailing across and following the words in a page as she chewed on some toast, not paying any mind to her folded up pages of clothing designs yet and just the fans.

... Huh.... "Ah- Argh-.... spiky!" Miranda winced sitting up quickly, blonde hair an absolute mess along with her blue dress. Finding her satchel beside her when feeling around she managed to stand up and stumble out of the bush with a sigh. To anyone else, this would probably be rather startling, or even afraid- But for Miranda, this was nothing more than something to giggle and shrug off along with the dazed confusion about what happened to lead to such events.

However the same couldn't be said for the small group of students walking by that witnessed the girl give them a small, friendly wave as she brushed off her dress from most of the dirt, and pulled a few twigs and leaves from her hair. Picking up the small satchel she looked back at the area she'd awoken from only to notice it was quite the concealed area, and not the worst place she'd found herself in to be perfectly honest.

Deciding to try and find either the dormitory once again or a wash room to clean up a little in before classes at the very least. Beginning to wander aimlessly, hands gently grasping the satchels handle down by her front as she looked around still half asleep. Trying to work out her location was harder than she expected however in the huge area, and before she knew it she'd stumbled into what appeared to be that 'cafeteria' thing that was mentioned yesterday.

__

"Oh, I wonder what happened to that guy?~ He was so nice trying to offer to help too...." she mused quietly, pressing a finger to her chin as she pondered. Furrowing brows as she tried to pin point his image and what had happened, however right after they'd reached outside the dorms everything went.... fuzzy.

Noticing a few odd stares at her disheveled look, accompanied by nothing less than the royal family crest on her front she blushed a tad and scooted slowly off towards the bathrooms. Going into the female restroom she let out a long sigh before perking up with a more determined look,
"No. I can't let this get me down!" she said aloud with a small nod. Beginning to wash off her face and hands, she pulled a brush from her bag and fixed up her hair. With little to do about the dress she simply readjusted and patted it until it was back to a semi-normal state.

Finally looking what she believed to be suitable enough to re-enter society without the overbearing presence of the head maids judgement literally screaming at her before managing to leave the room before she got caught up in thoughts any further. Looking around blankly for a few moments she spotted a counter full to the brim with delicious looking foods, walking as quickly as she could 'properly' over she grabbed a neatly packaged slice of cake and a cheese and lettuce sandwich.

Watching as others moved over to seemingly pay for the items, she followed after anxiously, hoping she wouldn't mess up too bad. After all, this was her first time actually buying anything for herself. Placing the items on the counter and rummaging through her bag briefly she pulled out two small gold coins. The kind-looking old lady at the counter chuckling before gently shaking her head,
"It's only three silver deary, not two gold haha~...." she let out with a warm smile. Looking confused for a moment before she reached in once more this time pulling out the correct amount and placing it down with a gleeful smile, eagerly grabbing the items in her hands before walking off, giving the server a wave as she did so.

However, turning her attention away from where she was walking didn't end up all too well, stumbling backwards into a table and barely managing to catch her food she looked up with a sheepish yet innocent smile, "S-Sorry!- uh, wasn't lookin' where i was going, again, haha...." she stuttered out awkwardly, blue eyes staring at the three others curiously for a moment before suddenly placing the raven haired girl and her smile widened. "Ah! Alice! It's awesome to see ya' again!" she said in a giddy manner, her usual unusual manner of speech for the country present. All the while still clutching the two small packages of food to her chest.

All the while, Viola found herself to grin from ear to ear, so much that she had not realized that she was not touching her food at all. Things had only became better, as a VERY TALL male made his way towards them (in which of course she excitedly welcomed towards their direction). She did not recall seeing him yesterday, though it was odd how such a large person could be lost in the middle of...well, tiny ones. Or perhaps she was the one too short, despite Noé's repeated claims that they were both in fact, not short.

"So nice to meet you Griffin!" she pushed her chair back as she stood, taking his hand and shook it frantically. "I'm Viola! Viola Argent. Screw that royalty title pfft, don't worry!" She leaned back, setting her legs up the table as she wrapped one hand around Alice's shoulder. "Like they say I'm very- chill~."

She giggled, fixing her position before she reached over to her food, unwrapping it from its plastic and biting in. The food was nowhere close than what mama used to make, but nonetheless she still enjoyed it. "As your senior," she winked playfully. "It will be my duty to make sure you all are enjoying your time. No worries!" she glanced at Alice, tapping her own chest pridefully. "If you need anything, you can call for me- EEEK!"

Viola jumped, quite literally, on her chair, perching and hissing like a scared cat. A pretty girl has fallen upon their table! Curiously, she inched forward, lifting a lock of her hair, before she winced and retreated.

Shock had not lasted so long, however, as soon she proceeded to become her normal self. As though some random did not just fall on their table, yes.

"Ooh so you know each other!" she said, looking back and forth between Alice and the new girl. "Sorry, I don't think I've seen you either- or maybe I forgot hehe. Anyway hi! I'm Viola ♡"

Mason had to place a hand on Cassius' shoulder to keep the noble hating mage from attacking, hissing in his ear "Calm it down Cass... He's at least making an effort and isn't belittling you. He just happens to be a bit reclusive and bad with names." he said before turning to face the foreign prince. plastering a pleasant smile, instead of the normal lascivious one. "Ah Noé, a pleasant surprise to see you up this early. My, you look quite dead my friend." Mason said jovially. Reaching into his pocket he retrieved his trusty flask, filled with his most sacred fluid. His 15 year age Rye. Only ever offered to those he truly considers friends. To even refuse a nip from the flask would be a sever insult and leave the Terra mage in a funk all day. Offering it to the prince, also non-verbally asking his roommate to please not kill this one.

With pleasantries aside, Mason silently ushered the two, the noble and the commoner to the dining hall for the most important meal of the day. Making his way to the line, and filling up a tray with an assortment of pastries, eggs, cold leftover fried chicken, and of course the ever so coveted buttermilk waffles. And of course to drink, a cup of dark roasted coffee as black as night, but as sweet as sin. Spotting the princes other half, he grinned devilishly. "Princess Viola, a pleasure to see you this early. And Griffin, glad you have met the only other non-hostile noble here." he said said as he pulled up another seat beside the two. Taking a pull form his coffee, Mason spotted the other inhabitant at the table. "And who might this be Viola?"

The two were sitting at one of the picnic tables near the forest of the academy. A small basket was placed upon the rough wooden surface. Inside were rice balls with different kind of stuffing inside: two with salmon, two with minced chicken and the last two were filled up with omelet and some kind of sauce which was hearty. They slowly munched on their food in silence, feeling comfortable that way as well. That was until Ellis broke it eventually. ”Elijah… Do you believe in…” She cut of her sentence as she thought about the words that could explain what was inside of her mind. Elijah patiently waited for her to finish while taking another bite from his food. ”… demons.” Her voice was soft and unsure as if she was saying something incredibly ludicrous. ”Ah, never mind.” She commented on her own as she waved her hand.

Elijah’s eyes wavered for a split second of the mention of it. The mythical beings that were believed to roam around the worlds, some by escaping this place called hell while others were summoned by humans themselves. It was hard to believe but still, in this fantasy world it could be possible for them to exist even though there was no data about them. ”Logically wise I’d say no.” It was the only thing he could truly answer to her vague question. Ellis hummed and nodded as it was something she just had read about in the manga in her previous life. The joke would have gone too far if it was actually true. She stuffed the rest of the rice ball in her mouth, savoring the pieces of salmon as they tasted so good. There was even a touch of lemon that could be tasted which made the dish more refreshing.

Elijah looked up placing his hands beside him, taking in the building that looked like a castle. There in the furthest corner of his eye, he spotted the principal’s office. The man seemed to be doing the same which caused them to meet eyes. They lingered on each other before Elijah was pulled out of his trance. A shiver running up his spine as he didn’t feel right about the look he received from that man. He’d try to keep his distance for sure with the awkward gut feeling gnawing onto him. Before Elijah could ask what was wrong, Ellis stuffed another rice ball in his mouth which made his eyes widen from surprise. ”Last one !” She exclaimed as she stuffed the one with chicken inside of her own mouth.

”I heard we’re getting magic combat today. Does that mean we’ll need to fight each other or is it just a regular check-up of one’s status?” Ellis asked out of curiosity, now sitting on her knees which made her look a little taller. Elijah nodded: ”It’s both really. Those who are of lesser power will be pushed into the facts that they’re not as strong as they thought they were. This could cause them to work on it or to just give up on it. For those on the top, there’s the chance of them getting a little too cocky.” All were facts. Some had even dropped out of the magic academy upon assessing that their powers were near to nothing compared to other students. Those people often turned to politics or became merchants. The environment was supposed to be safe though as professors kept watch on the students so they could intervene when necessary. Also the gadgets inside the room were a great help to control the magic peaks so a part of the school wouldn’t be blown away.

”I heard that the second years would be keeping watch too now since not all professors have arrived yet.” Ellis commented which made Elijah nod in agreement. ”That’s true. We battle after the first years though so we still can get some action out of it. I heard if the number was uneven, they would go against the principal.”

Alice just sat there wholesomely eating toast and reading about pretty fabrics as she heard Viola talking to Griffin beside her, trying to keep any crumbs or butter from falling onto the book in case it ruined it. Also, food mess was gross. She wasn't really paying much attention when she felt Viola's arm unpromptedly sliding around her shoulders, looking at her in the corner of her eye before just internally electing to ignore it and going back to her book, it wasn't harming her in any way and for some odd reason, she wasn't feeling that nervous anymore. Then, Viola screamed. Out of everything she was to be scared by, this was strangely not one of them. She just finished the piece of toast she was eating, the tip of one of her fingers in her mouth as she was licking a piece of leftover butter on her finger, looking up at the startled Viola to the girl who walked into their table, recognising the mess of a princess as Miranda after she got a good look of her face. She looked dirtier than yesterday, how was that even possible?

She just gave back a small innocent smile and a small wave when Miranda noticed her. "Uh, hi again, these are my... friends? M-maybe?.." she said slightly confused, giving an awkward glance between Viola and Griffin, I mean it would be obvious if the answer was yes but she didn't want to assume just yet. She looked back at Viola when she was calming down and moving back into the seat, patting her head softly without any explanation just for comfort. She stopped when she was introducing, grabbing the next piece of toast on the plate and going back to eating quietly as she read.

It hadn't even been a minute before another person showed up to the table. Not even one, three! This was more unexpected than she thought, and she was only three quarters as spooked this time! I mean, if multiple strangers kept showing up and they all had some mild notice in you, you'd feel awkward and nervous too. She was just munching her toast innocently the whole time as she peeked up at them, noticing that Griffin wasn't the only person to have a fullfledged dinner for breakfast. Was this the norm, was she small brain? She glanced between them before finishing her piece of toast, licking her fingers clean. Apparently, they knew Viola, which wasn't much of a surprise anyway, and Griffin which neither of them knew. This was a conspiracy theory right here. Not really knowing what to say, she decided to just go and get the next of her toast and continue reading... then she realised she had no more toast, a small sad expression on her face as she realised she had naught else left, she could easily just go back and buy more, but that would look bad, she needs to be presentable and eating too much would make her gain weight. Guess she would just be toastless.

Camille had arrived late that night, coming from the library where he was checking out a couple of water magic books he might borrow to read during his free time, he finally went to his dormitory by the time everyone was asleep, noticing the big ass guy sleeping on the same dormitory as him, was this the Griffin guy? He thought to himself when falling on his bed, which by the way he felt like the best bed there could possibly be in this world, the perfect cushion to hold his body like a delicate feather, the softness of its sheets that caressed his face and a cloudy like pillow that could make anyone's dreams become even more vivid than what they could already be. He fell asleep in no time, dreaming of how amazing this new stay was thanks to his bed.

The next day he woke up early before the sunrise even showed up, took a nice shower hoping his roommate wouldn't wake up to the sound of the falling water, wrote a letter to her mother to know about her current state and tell her he arrived at the academy without any trouble, that he'd meet plenty of people from many parts of the kingdom and even a couple of outsiders from far away lands. After finishing his letter, and because of his organized way of being, Camille had to settle on getting his papers done for the free meal card Ellis had told him about, get to know when classes started and where they would be taught, there was no time to waste. Foreseeing the nice weather that came for the day since he learned at the countryside to read the sky and the winds, he put on another pair of his harem pants drawn with a couple of waves that tried to resemble Hokusai's print "The Great Wave off Kanagawa", this time white colored on the background because he wanted attention to be dragged by the print and nothing else and on top a lousy white shirt, very thin on its composition to the point it felt he wasn't wearing anything at all and looked translucid to some degree. On top of it all, a necklace he managed to make with the emerald his friend had given him.

Going through some hallways of the academy on his way to get the precious card, while greeting and taking some time to chat with friends who weren't on magic studies that were passing by, he ended up speaking with and archivist he knew from his hometown for years, and best of all is that she was helping him with the meal card and organize it in time for today. And so she gave him a yellow card with his name and the academy's insignia printed on it, he could use every day for breakfast, lunch, dinner? and even if he wanted some snacks throughout the day Camille only took a fast look at the card he'd been given and responded to his friend with a calm smile "Thanks a lot. I owe you one for now so if you ever need any help, come over to my room and ask." , this advantage came with a price too, he had to take care of the academy's greenhouse along with the caretakers and some other students, he would be needed during the weekdays in the morning at about the same time he woke up today. Glad to not have other jobs apart from that, he realized that from now on he had access to the botanical section, only wondering for now what kinds of new plants he was going to find in here, his childhood dream of becoming a gardener, which lasted about 3 days before later abandoning it for magic studies, finally came true.

His stomach was empty and he was starting to feel fatigued, so thinking on getting some snacks at the cafeteria and debut his meal card was becoming a tempting idea, he might even have time to stretch outside under the sun to practice aerials or polish his 1 handed cartwheel skill, it all depended if they had classes today or nothing at all yet. It wouldn't be a bad idea to go look for familiar faces, maybe they knew what was coming now. He walked down to the cafeteria, openned the doors and entered to salute with a warm "Good morning! How's the day going?" to the person behind the counter who was going to give him a chicken sandwich, and a coffee thanks to his new card, and a pair of buttered toasts with orange juice for his friendly approach and worried gaze to his slim physique. Looking behind him to the tables if there was any available, he sees a bunch of nobles gathered chit chatting as if they'd just met each other. Between all the strange faces there was one he recognized from yesterday, though some others he had seen too from a distance and that wide back and tall figure from one of the males who clearly was from his fellow roommate, he hadn't seen his face before so this was a perfect chance to get to know whoever he could be. Just as he was getting close to the cheerful group, Camille smiled with his eyes to Alice like saying "Long time no see" and presented himself to the rest with his hand on his chest "Hi everyone, the name's Camille, nice to meet you all" saying a similar line Gyleon had used yesterday when they met, he liked the way he introduced himself to them. He walked from the corner of the table to sit next to the big guy that could be his room companion and in front of Alice, making signals to her with his eyes hoping she could help him eat the toasts they'd given him since he had enough with the sandwich and the coffee. Then he let his hand rest on the guy's massive shoulder compared to his own, looking at him with one question in mind "Hey, your name's Griffin right?"

Calcium? Calcium?? Really, that was the best this guy could do? That's not even a fucking name! Cassius's lips turned down in a snarl, taking a step forward as he was about to give this guy who dismissed him so quickly a piece of his mind. But he was stopped by Alex, who whispered in his ear and tried to calm him down. Cassius let out a sigh, taking a few breaths to calm his inner fire, feeling it begin to simmer down after a few moments. Mason was right, of course, the guy hadn't really done anything wrong. Cassius was just in a bad mood - well, a worse mood than normal. He awkwardly stepped back to his original position, wiping the hostile expression off his face. His eyebrow raised as Alex offered this other guy some of the revered beverage, saved only for particular friends. Cassius was surprised this other guy received the honor. Maybe they were actually really goods friends, he didn't know. He didn't really pay much attention to Alex's social life (aside from the vague knowledge he was trying to get a threesome) or have much of one himself. The fire mage wordlessly followed Alex over to the counter, picking up a variety of food for himself, though not as much as Alex did.

Cassius, with all of his willpower suppressed an annoyed groan as Mason led them towards a large table of students. It really was just an unnecessary amount of people, but Alex was always telling him he needed to make new friends. But now was really not the time, his left arm felt like it was being constantly submerged in hot oil and he was feeling irritable. Some might've called it bitchy, he probably would've too, honestly. But unfortunately acknowledging that didn't actually change how he felt at the moment. Still, he let out a grunt that might've sounded like "Hey." and gave a weak wave with his right hand before looking away from these strangers and focusing on his healthy breakfast. He ate ravenously, his left arm hanging limply at his side as he shoveled food into his mouth with a fork in his right hand. Overexertion of his magic also left him feeling incredibly hungry. He had some issues with the waffles though, cutting them with one hand was annoyingly difficult, and he grumbled out, "For fuck's sake," as he struggled.

Seraphina never did see her roommate that day, even when it came time for everyone to be in their dorms. Waking up the next more she looked around and sighed after finding no evidence of Miranda having been there. Poor girl, I hope she's alright, the marquess thought to herself as she got out of bed. But since Miranda wasn't around it gave her the opportunity to shower in peace. Gathering her outfit in her arms Seraphina took to the showers. Around fifteen minutes later she emerged dress for the day: a collard white button down shirt tucked into a high wasted, sky blue circle skirt with a slightly darker blue rose pattern printed on it. Simple, yet held a type of elegance to it. Her hair was back with a blue ribbon to match. Slipping on the same black, ankle strap heels she wore yesterday Seraphina grabbed her copy of "The Art of Crystallization Magic" before making her way out of her room.

Being like most of the other students Seraphina decided to go to the cafeteria for breakfast. Though as she walked inside the building she had noticed just how many students there were attending the school. One table in particular was pretty crowded, and with more joining seemingly by the seconds. At the center of attention seemed to be a young girl in.. a yukata? Though in her past life Seraphina was an American girl, she was still surprised to see the Eastern fashion trend on an entirely different planet. Maybe it was a part of the girl's family. Who knows. All Seraphina knew was that this place was way too crowded for her taste. Walking to the counter the girl ordered a bowl of fresh mixed fruit before asking, "Would it be alright if I ate this outside and brought the bowl back to you before I went to my class?" The lunch lady smiled and nodded as she handed Seraphina her order in exchange for two silver pieces. Tucking her book up under her arm the marquess picked up the bowl of fruit and a fork before carrying it outside with her.

Once back outside she let out a sigh of relief, "I don't think I would've made it," she mumbled softly before looking around. Now where to enjoy her breakfast, hopefully, in peace? That's when she remembered not having gotten the chance to visit the garden yesterday. It sounded like the perfect spot to start her morning off! Smiling gleefully to herself, Seraphina made her way to the school's garden. Upon arriving she noticed the lack of other people around. "Perfect!" Walking over to one of the stone benches she took a seat, the book to her left and the bowl of fruit sitting neatly on her lap. Though as she realized it would be harder for her to try eating and reading this way, an idea crept into the girl's mind. Looking around to see if there was anyone nearby Seraphina felt calmer after finding no one coming her direction. Putting the bowl to the left of her on the bench she then leaned over and touched the soil underfoot. Taking a deep breath she could sense the different minerals and layers of the dirt, even able to sense how far other students were based on the vibrations.

"There's a layer of clay in this mixture which will work perfectly." Slowly picking her hand up the earth in front of her shook as the hidden layer of red clay emerged from the ground. When it got to a certain height Seraphina held up her other hand as she begun to mold the clay. Soon it began to look like a table big enough for two people. "Now the final touch," murmured softly as her fingers conformed in a way similar to a pianist. The clay took a solid, polished form. Exhaling deeply Seraphina dropped her hands onto her newly created table. The smooth surface was cool to the touch, and felt incredibly stable. This was something she use to do at home too when she wanted to eat outside in her own garden. With a soft smile on her face Seraphina placed both her bowl of fruit and book on the table in front of her before beginning to eat her fruit while reading her book.

"Well met, the both of you," Griffin enthusiastically answered the introductions done for the pair on behalf of Alice. While one hand flicked open the letter he himself intended to read despite Anna's microscopic script, the other mechanically and efficiently brought food to his mouth as he restocked his body for the day. His body opted to lean a bit of weight into the table to alleviate the extra his father no doubt wanted him wearing. Viola's follow up just earned a grunt from the repeated information and he paid her feet no mind despite their arrival upon the table. "To quote my eldest sister's mentor upon her enlistment, 'why should i care if your parents have a fancy hat. I'm here to do my duty and fuck little boys like you until your ass wont let you stand...' when she mentioned she was a girl he elegantly told her the only thing that changed was the hole."

The letter was simple enough, salutations...yes their parents were the reigning pair...the armor was for training to a 'next level' their father devised and since only 4 sets exist dont ruin it...those with a crest are the candidates for the next crown...and some commentary on her view of him as contest being much diminished sine his enlistment despite having taking it better than her complete with stories. Suddenly a re-read was required...what did she mean that pre-enlistment him was smarter and a much more dangerous candidate? He was four at the time! How could a four year old be more dangerous than a sixteen year old? Sure there had been only 1 Earth attributed King in House history - and he'd been Metal in truth. But was there really a need for that? Also why was his body feeling so drained?Oh... the weights result in subconscious use of magic for comfort and disrupts the process - HOW DID HIS FATHER JUST CASUALLY STUMBLE INTO THIS?! Unable to cope with his emotions, Griffin crushed the paper, returned it to a pocket, and just zoned out into autopilot to work through his food...until Viola's excited squeak brought his attention once more...the food continued its ceaseless journey from plate to stomach. Griffon was determined to ignore the next potential interruption.

It was a blonde...and the crest of House Fisher was one he recognized. The disastrous camping look told Griffin a lot less about her night than his sharp nose did - and her choice of deserts for breakfast resulted in a foreign thought echoing in his head about how childish the affair seemed. Griffin shifted his half finished breakfast around to free up a plate, a rather normal portion was removed as he half shoved the food at the girl he just recalled would be named Miranda. "You'll just be hungry in an hour later with what you have. Inadequate food intake is painful - i'd know." The claim wasn't an exaggeration, but he just politely left the plate in front of Miranda to make her own decision on the matter before once more assaulting his plate. Until of course Mason arrives - while he had questions for the man, now was neither the time nor place; not to mention the whole question of non-hostile nobles. Was fighting a normal thing around here; either way he'll just take Mason on up the invitation to his lab and sort everything out later.

"Mason I'm invading your workspace after class, prepare to be very inconvenienced."

A slight amount of movement on Alice's end brought his attention to her now empty toast plate. Autopilot pushed the untouched toast tower over before once more resuming consumption as a rather delicate looking man came up...his roommate Camille with the reasonable question on whether he was in fact Griffin.

"Last I checked that was indeed me - let me know if it changes." With a quick tip of a nonexistent hat, Griffin managed to finish his breakfast just in time for a familiar looking face to swear while failing to eat waffles with a single hand. From the looks of it, he'd over exerted himself too, and wasn't quite as adept at one hand eating as Griffin himself. Since the guy wasn't exactly in arm's reach with a knife, Griffin opted to reach and cut the things with his arming sword - the extra blade length barely up to the task. Only after licking the blade and returning it to the sheath did he register his actions.

"...Pardon my reach?" Yep...definitely best to make a hasty departure, the table and chair made audible relief as his weight shifted off them with his intention to leave.

here she was, genuinely missing him with all her heart, and just...

woooow. look at him acting all tough and gruff. getting right down to business like he was christian grey or something. with newfound height comes newfound confidence, she supposes.

it would have been nice if she could get a hug, perhaps? maybe even a kind word? a sigh of relief that she was alright? it's been a whole year since they've seen each other, so it wouldn't be entirely too out of character for him to throw her a bone, right?

but then again, this was gyleon she's talking about. he always was particularly out of touch with his emotional side. shame on me for expecting a grand reunion from the prude-to-end-all-prudes, i suppose. if she were a bystander, she'd have thought they were exes or something, given his frigid facade.

it's a good thing, then, that she's used to his tsundere-ness by now. after years of correspondence and cajoling, she's become rather good at deciphering his actual words behind his sharp glares and even sharper wit.

and if her cipher is up-to-date, she's pretty sure that he just admitted to missing her. you know as well as she does that she's going to milk that for all it's worth. it's been too long since she got to give someone a proper tormenting. and who better to torment and tease than this prude? besides, he probably needs someone to loosen him up. not in that way, brain. not in that way.

"pray tell, lord gyleon, but do my ears deceive me?" she puts a hand to her ear, squinting as if she was having trouble making out his words. "i am quite certain there is a hint of... expectation? disappointment?

"dare i say, longing? you sound as if you wanted me to chase after you." he would never admit to that, so she pushes on with her offense. "if so, you need only but ask. there was never any need for you to play up this jilted lover act. you can come out and say it outright: you miss me." and for added measure, she flutters her lashes and tacks on a sickly saccharine "gilly-willy" at the end for maximum attack power.

she quickly puts a hand up to stop any counters or rebuttals. "up-up-up, no need to explain yourself. it is perfectly alright and perfectly natural to miss my presence. the sun to your sunflower. i am, indeed, a bright ray of sunshine, as you well know."

smugly, she extends her hands out. he's not likely to initiate a hug anytime soon, so she might as well do it herself. "now, come on. no need to be so shy. it's alright."

and before he can backpedal into his room, she traps him in her arms and snuggles him. "widdle widdle giwwy-kitty," she coos as she pats him on the head.

she stays like that for a few more seconds, just cooing and patting him as if he were a cat, before she finally releases him and gets on with her business this time round.

"now then, let me answer your question with a question of my own: have you eaten?"

"galina and i will be heading to the cafeteria soon." hopefully, he won't realise that galina isn't even in a position to say yes to her invite. "join us? it has been suuuuuuuch a long time since all three of us have been together. and you already know how much i have missed the two of you, do you not?"

"of course, if you are not convinced of my sincerity," she starts, letting her voice drop into a sultry susurration and firmly pressing her hand against the doorframe. "i could always give you another long. tight. squeeze. Maybe on the comforts of a bed, if no one else is around inside..."

the suggestion quickly disippates when her face breaks into a grin, hands raised in a placating manner. "oh, stop it, you know perfectly well i jest."

"now, about that invitation, can i expect you at the cafeteria? seven o'clock sharp? If you prefer, we could even invite lord argent, seeing as he will be your roommate, no? We could see you there. or would you prefer to join me in rousing our princess from her slumber?"

"unless..." she goes uncharacteristically quiet before an insulting amount of surprise overtakes her features. "you have plans?"

Noé paused in his way, and for a while he stood, examining the flask that was given to him. He twisted his wrist, allowing the liquid to swirl at its core. Noé removed the lid, taking a sniff out of it before quickly pulling it away from him out of repulse. Not one much to fancy alcohol, unless certain times that calls for it, of course. And so early in the morning?

He shoved it inside his bag regardless, screwing the lid shut to avoid spillage. The male sighed, shaking his head slightly. Too much interaction for one day. If he had seen Viola at the bottom of the stairs, he would make sure she knows that she wants nothing to associate with anyone, at least for the next two hours or so. Or two days.

The fact was, however, that his twin was nowhere to be seen. No pair of orange locks, or bright yellow shirt to be seen. Stranger the case was that often times she would see him first before he sees her. He kept on walking, after making sure she was not to surprise him behind a bush (speaking from experience, of course). Somehow he felt a bit more uneasy, that he had to lower his hat, shove his hands deep in his pockets.

Stupid, he cursed at her, huffing. Not one day he thought he'd miss that high-pitched voice of hers. Actually, he thought of this everytime, upon even the first idea of knowing that they would not be sharing the same building. He could try to convince the dorm officers that he was gay, therefore could stay with his twin in the girl's dormitory. Ha. As if he could ever.

It felt dragging when he reached the doors to the cafeteria, he pushed it, and immediately he was greeted by a scene much too chaotic for his own good.

Noé !” From the distance, he saw his sister, standing at the top of the table among a group of people he knew nothing about, and would prefer to not know about. She began to jump, waving her hands. If only they had not the same face, then he could safely report her as a lunatic escape from the mental hospital.

Er- yeah, no.” Breakfast could wait. Maybe whiskey could be breakfast. Anything but that.

Hnghh!” Viola puffed out her cheeks. Then she looked at the people around her, smiling. Leaping off the table, she screamed. “Noé! Come back here!

NO!

"Noooééé~" she whined. But then she smirked, laughing in anime that sounds like ufufu~. “Fine then! Have it your way.

Of course.” Noé was half way through the hall, reaching for the door, when he heard his sister chimed out loud.

So~ you're Camille right?

Noé stopped in his tracks.

I'm Viola, and, um, I think you're very cute, so I was wondering, are you-!

Viola paused. Not because she wanted to, because in front of her was Noé, gasping for breath after he ran in such a speed even she had never seen him in. Which was impressive, on one side. On the other, simply amusing. Viola giggled, though it was muffled behind the hands that Noé had pressed against her lips.

Fine. Fine! Argent, Noé Argent. I'm this idiot's unfortunate twin brother-” Noé patted her down when she began to muffle her complains. He clicked his tongue, examining the people around him. The sHorT rAveN hAireD gIrL, another woman who appeared as though she had slept in a gutter for the past night...Disgustedly, Noé pushed her aside. Then there was this really tall man, a really pretty boy-Camille she said?- Calcium, and-

Noé propped down in a seat next to his sister, snatching the sandwich away off her and began biting in it.

Hey!” she complained, but then she smiled a little. It was good enough that she managed to gather everyone here with her brother, for what would it all mean without him?

Alice continued looking through the book before hearing yet another person walking up to the table. Oh boy, who was it this time? Camille? Ellis? Her own sister? The lord of hell, Satan himself- oh no it's just Camille nevermind. She smiled softly up at Camille's arrival as he glanced at her, a small excited squee as she tried to keep her happiness down. She was about to go back to the book when she heard the sliding of plates to her, glancing at both Camille and Griffin's reaction to her disappointment via lack of toast, wow yay friendship! A small excited expression on her face as she giggled softly, bowing her head a little in thanks as she took a piece of toast off Griffin's pile first, what, he had more, he didn't need all of that. Mmm, the sweet cronchy taste of friendship... and butter, mm delicious.

Amidst everyone else conversating, little Alice got distracted in her own little world, getting one of her pieces of paper and a pencil as she startes drawing, a small childish smile on her face as she still continued to munch on the toast she was so blessed with just prior, going back to drawing cute things like Japanese schoolgirl outfits and fans and scarfs and whatever she thought that she kind of wanted, getting distracted from that partially and drawing a dragon too. Dragons were cool. She had also left momentarily because she found her throat slightly dry and she was thirsty, coming back with a glass of milk and continuing what she was doing without much thought. Peeking back up at Camille with soft, innocent red eyes, she spoke a little quietly to not distract anyone else. "S-sorry, I forgot to ask yesterday if I could know which dorm you were staying in... just in case" she murmured quietly, it's totally not for comforting when she gets spooked by a nightmare, pffshutup.

Drawing mindlessly and continuing to eat the toast Camille and Griffin had offered to her, as well as drinking her milk to grow bIg aNd StRoNg, she didNOT DIE SHE IS PERFECTLY ALIVE AND FIEN-- she didn't pay much attention to everyone else until she heard Viola calling out at someone, she didn't pay much attention until she heard a really weird inflection in her voice directed towards Camille. Looking up at the two slightly confused, she was slightly overall just a teensy bit broken from Viola's sudden advancement. Was that how fast relationships work? Do royals just basically choose who they want? "Wuh..." a very small quiet and confused murmur from Alice as she glances at Viola and Camille, she had even less idea about relationships than she thought, she basically just thought it was super friendship when you've had friendship for so long, and it evolves. Was this FRIENDSHIP REPLACEMENT?

She was just having many confused thoughts, still thinking about it when Noe had already appeared so suddenly to silence her, only coming back to everything when Noe looked directly at her, looking back at him. She looked down at her hands, finishing the last bite of the piece of toast she was holding. Was that real? Does that- she was continuing trying to debunk the magic of friendship and further relations as she drank her milk, using both hands to hold the glass, a solid stare at Camille in just pure confusion, unknowingness and innocence the entire time she drank.

Miranda blinked a few times after tensing a little at the small scream coming from the orange haired girl, laughing nervously a moment later as she noted her and Alice knowing one another, giving a cheerful nod with a wide grin, slowly tucking the two food packages away in her satchel before adjusting her position to better see the trio. "Nice to meet ya! My name is Miranda Fisher! but, uh- I kinda prefer Miri~ You can call me anything you want though! Oh, and my goal is to make as many friends as I can, so I hope we get along!~" she rambled out with a warm smile, rubbing the back of her head a little at the awkward introduction, reassuring herself she'd get better at it with time.

It seemed their little group was destined to grow however, as another pair of students made their way over, catching the bubbly girls attention. One was evidently in good spirits whilst the other seemed somewhat in pain, such a thing caught Miranda's eyes along with what little focus the girl actually had to give. Completely oblivious to the fact of the very tall male across the table pushing a plate over and commenting on her lack of food in what she would've usually been overjoyed at such an offer to eat so much without being reprimanded.

As the pained looking male approached she noted the heavily bandaged arm by his side which she could only assume to be causing the problems. Immediately she perked up at a chance to use her magic for something good, she could help fix this! That was a good way to make friends, right?... Moving around the table quickly she crouched down behind him as he dug into his meal. Innocently oblivious as usual how this could startle someone as she raised her hands forwards a little, palms out flat just a few inches from the arm itself as she smiled and closed her eyes.

A bright glow suddenly emitted from them before dimming to a softer shine, flowing over his arm and wrapping it up gently as the injury would hopefully begin to heal. She remained focused on this, surprisingly unfazed even as chaos ensued in the nearby surroundings. After feeling confident she'd done a good job Miranda slowly stood, hands reaching back to push down her dress as she did so. "There! all better!- hopefully?..." she let out innocently to the other, "It hurt right?- That's why you were grumpy. So you can be happy now! Uh, If you want that is!-.... haha" she fumbled out in a messy manner, clearly confusing even herself as her pale cheeks flustered a little pink. She wasn't exactly used to interacting with this many strangers around after all. Let alone using her magic after being so firmly told not to by her father.

This didn't last for long though as the sudden loud clank of the large mans sword hitting the males plate in front of her caused her to practically jump out of her skin.
Suddenly her expression changed, flickering to that of dread as her eyes fixated on the sword as a hand shot to her stomach, pupils retracting as she practically skidded on the floor with how fast she turned to run out of the cafeteria, half tripping in the process as she made her way out the door.

'.... Clara-....' "Just be quiet?! I-I can't think-" 'Clara listen!-' "Just be quiet! I gotta get out of here, b-before they hurt me again, didn't you see, I-It was him! He was gonna- gonna st..." The girl came to a halt as the other voice screamed in her head, yelling out loud to seemingly herself as other students startled by the blonde girls reaction hurried away. Watery eyes focusing ahead of her she began to run again until reaching a small a quiet area covered in grass, beginning to slow her breathing she let herself slide down beside a tree.

However as she looked up she was met with the sight of a girl... making a table appear- out of.... dirt. Staring blankly for a moment before letting out a loud startled yelp as she pushed herself back against the bark of the tree with terror, "H-How did you just-... T-There wasn't a table there before right? B-.... But that's not possible!-" She stuttered under her breath in panic.

'Clara!- Calm down and let me take over already!?' The voice in her head yelled again, closing her eyes tightly and holding her head. "No! I don't wanna go away again yet!- You'll just let Miranda back out and she just gets us into trouble!?" She replied, staring down at the ground, now ignoring the other in front of her, tears slowly dripping down her cheeks and onto the ground.

Griffin's confirmed identity and his imaginary hat tip was the cutest thing of the day for him, and for some odd reason he thought of him as a pretty and massive teddy bear he thought of hugging as strong as possible to the point it felt like blewing up, why that idea crept on his mind nobody could tell, not even him, maybe the hat made the trick for him and his only response was "You never really know when, but it can surely change" to follow up with fast nibbles on his sandwich. Having met him like this was more than enough of an interaction for the day, there wasn't much he could talk with him between all these people gathered around since he preferred speaking along with them one to one, it makes interesting conversations develop quicker. Alice's question was barely heard for her quiet, trying not to be found out, voice to which he could only say "I'm in the 19 dorm" and give her a hidden wink before the ginger haired girl, another tiny one?, spoke with a menacing tone towards his brother who came running next to her as if the next word coming from her mouth could deter his impression on his twin. "Interesting name both of you, Viola and Novel, the pleasure's all mine." Their sister-brother relationship made him wonder on how his life would've changed if he had a little sister by his side, would it be this chaotic? maybe not since he wasn't the type of guy who was going to bother someone. What if he had a twin sister too? they'd look similar together like them, just more white-grayish colored. "In any case, I wasn't really expecting such proposal, if that's where you were going." He answered to Viola's last sentence lifting one of his eyebrows with a smug smile on his face "But I'll have to decline if that's the case. I hope to see you around more often both of you." Camille didn't even notice Miranda's presence, even less remembered her from yesterday, though he remembered her name but not her face, strange enough he couldn't understand why, or where she could be. the girl on the other side of the table was a stranger to his eye who suddenly left them without any words.

He finished quickly his sandwich, hunger was creeping up on him more than what he'd expected, plus he was impatient to enjoy whatever time he had before classes began, even forgetting he wanted to know when they were starting and where they were being taught. On one swift move, he grabbed his bag between his feet, took the empty tray and said with his typical smile that now was becoming the usual for him "Oh well, Imma get going to stretch a bit outside guys. Sya everyone!" And with that, he left the group of the table, leaving the tray on the counter of the cafeteria and directing himself to the gardens where he had met Gyleon and Ellis, there was a nice grass cushion not too long to not get a good grasp on the soil where he could practice his acrobatics, nor too short to damage himself if he took a wrong step or slammed on the floor when failing a move, though that rarely happened nowadays. He even thought of trying to incorporate his water techniques into his dance and stunts, that could make a really nice show, attractive to the eye, and what if he could spray the water into the air to make a rainbow that covered the scene? Ideas started floating around and taking over what he thought a good spectacle could be. To hell with magic combat, I can become an artist.

The sun shined bright above the gardens and he could see there wasn't anyone around, the weather wasn't unbearably hot either, so he thought on taking off his shirt to make sure he wouldn't sweat it, hanging it on a branch of a small tree and showing off his family tattoo on his right shoulder blade. A shield with a lion in the middle surrounded by fleurs de lys, the Beaumont escutcheon. It was pretty rare to see commoner families who had a coat of arms, some of them did and they had their own past as nobles who fell into a poor life, but Camille didn't know a thing about the origin of his family shield, neither he ever had familiars who were nobles at some point of their lives, her mother was sure about that since she also investigated with her family line about this banner. Camille's father had nothing to do with it, he wasn't a Beaumont but instead a Leclerc, but he chose his mother's last name as the only one for he left them to their luck, and that was unforgivable.

He started his stretching session with quick rounds of 10 seconds for each muscle group and then started going over the aerial movements, following it with floorwork routines that evolved with twisted and intricate patterns his body made, along with the emotion he could only imagine and the music that resounded on his head from the last time he worked amongst musicians, they were great teams that enabled him to create, interpretate stories and develop them as the act went on. The delicacy behind his curving and the alignment between his sight, body and soul made everything easier to express and even explode. He started adding water strings to his movements and with one snap of his fingers, they came from the little channels that flowed under the leaves of the bushes and almost looked as if grasping his body, floating from the floor onto his fingers and then his torso, like spirals that enveloped him and sailed from one arm to the other through flashy moves. It was a beautiful scene to watch, at least for Camille who was starting to feel peace inside him, a powerful essence that warmed his body and made his fingers ache for more water magic, he felt growing deep inside. Even tried spraying it to the air were the sun could hit the falling droplets and create the rainbow background he was looking for, and it worked quite well to his amusement, since he wasn't sure that would work so well for a first try.

Stopping to catch his breath from the exhausting workout, after long days without any exercise, he was feeling overjoyed from discovering how useful water magic could be for show purposes, not that it hadn't been implemented before, fire users had done this decades ago, and some water users too, but Camille had ideas that could work and maybe he could hope to revolutionize the industry. Laying down on the grass, looking at the few clouds that wandered across the blue sky, he laid on his side to sip on the coffee he took from the cafeteria and thought out loud "I might even start a dance club, who knows...", enjoying what little time he might have left before attending to the class. Not really caring at all, just breathing.

As Gyleon had expected, Yekaterina had almost immediately begun with her relentless teasing. First she had pretended not to hear him, which made him want to pull on the ear extended in his direction and yell into it to correct her lunacy of believing he missed her. Who the hell would want such an annoying woman constantly chasing after and haraassing him? Who was acting like a jilted lover? Don't be ridiculous, it wasn't him. He had no reason to admit he missed her as that was the furthest from the truth. These feeling were only further cemented as when she used the accursed and forbidden nickname. "Gilly" was bad enough but she had to go and play it up even further by adding a hint of baby talk and trying to appeal with her looks by fluttering her eyelashes.

It seemed Yekaterina had been prepared as before Gyleon could go off on or slam the door on her, she had interrupted. Who would miss your presence? If it's natural for anybody they'd need to get their mental state checked. He didn't know how he was a sunflower but she was certainly the sun with how painful it was to look at and be around her. Now she was held out her hands as if she was expecting a hug from him. She really expected him to hug her after going this far?

Before Gyleon could once again try to slam the door on Yekaterina again, she went ahead and hugged him on her own. Although he was rather annoyed with her antics, he did start to calm down at being hugged and considered hugging her back...at least until she started cooing and patting his head. He had already been red in the face due to anger and embarassment, now he has possibly reached a new height thanks to the girl's antics. Now she had returned to those nicknames again and this one was debateably worse! She was treating him like a cat now! He was tempted to growl and claw her face off because of it but resisted. He wasn't one to usually wish to harm women but at this moment he no longer thought of the little devil as one. The railing outside that she was so close to was looking tempting, and even if they were high up, she'd be fine because she was an idiot.

Thankfully before Gyleon's bloodlust became too high, Yekaterina finally released him from his own personal hell. Thankfully it seemed she was finally easing off her teasing for the moment and asked him if he wanted to join her and Galina. Before he could think too deeply on the matter she had already gone back to her teasing way, this time including implications of lewd conduct which caused him to blush more and avert his eyes. This was quickly shown to be a joke which was obvious, though he still couldn't help but be effected by it somewhat.

Once Yaketerina was finally done joking around, she finally returned to the topic of breakfast, though not before she got one final teasing jab in. Finally Gyleon had gotten the chance he had oh so dearly been desiring,, slamming the door of his room on the girl with a rather satisfying and echoing thud and letting loose a smirk at what he imagined her face looked like. Though ridiculous, mainly based off it including Yaketerina, he did find the idea pleasing. His only hesitation on the matter was that the relationship with Galina was slightly awkward after he had gone and sent an offer of marriage to the young lady after having gotten somewhat close to and taken a fancy to her. Although it seemed she was aware of this fact, the few meetings they had, the topic had been avoided until now.

In the end, Gyleon gave in and gathered the materials he would need for class and open the door back up before Yekaterina gave up on him. "Since you're here, we might as well go together at this point. As for Lord Argent, he's left already so it'll just be us three unless you intend to invite Galina's roommate as well." To be honest, Gyleon was all too happy to not have to invite the you man but he left those thoughts for himself. Gyleon grabbed Yekaterina's hand carefully but with some force so as not to let the girl roam free and get into trouble like the hyperactive pup she is, dragging her to the female dorms after getting Galina's room number from his companion. After a short walk in which he had to hide his embarrassment, they soon reached her room, Gyleon fianlly letting go of Yeketerina and knocking on the door to room 54.
