Tannia watched the orc die in front of her, watched him struggle for life, with cold indifference in her eyes. It wasn't the first time she had killed someone, nor was it the second. She had honestly lost track of how many people had been slain by her hand. She waited for him to take his final breath before she allowed her shoulders to relax. Rossle came over and patted her on the back but she didn't say anything. That's always how her life had been, fighting to keep what was hers.

But this life was supposed to have been different. That had been the deal. That she'd put down her sword and take up the hammer instead. And yet here she was with blood on her hands once more. She watched as the missive dog dragged the body away, the trial of crimson a perfect simile for the past she had left behind. And for the future to come it would seem. If that was the case, she told to herself as she left to go find the mop, she was going to need armor and a sword.

Once a warrior always a warrior.

The thread was a success, people were able to achieve goals while others helped others achieve those goals, overall was a good start and ending and everyone was consistant.

Aftermath

Tannia achieved her objective of becoming the famous Rossle Deva's apprentice through trial, competition and even killing another competitor to protect herself, of course with Rossle's reputation no one would come for Tannia. Perks of being a well renowned blacksmith's apprentice. Michael helped Tannia achieve her goal and was able to learn a couple of tricks from Rossle in the process, no one got hurt except for the sexist orc who was too prideful to take a loss.

Nobles and other snotty uptight bastards, as Rossle would say, will show disdain towards you because of Rossle's own hatred for people who only want his work for show rather than practice and battle. You also get a hefty discount (40%) from smithing stalls and salesmen alike.

Michael - 15 points - optional title acquired [Apprentice in blacksmithing] - While not amazing on the forge you have shown you have some knowledge on how to craft and prepare, blacksmiths will recognize you as having potential. Don't waste it!
