Hello! Welcome to this thread if you somehow came across this on a 1 on 1 thread, this thread is a part of the Isekai Hell community and will be following a half dragon character named Stormbreaker, in this she will come across a group called the Dictate of Scales. A very hateful group of people, mainly humans, that hunt, kill or enslave dragons for their blood, scales or for other services. The Scales, as they are referred to IC, use dragon's blood to garner powers and other supernatural abilities in a ritual. They also use their bodies as resources to create their own equipment to use in their hunts and fights. They are known to be mercenaries in their early lives to learn more of how the world works and experience all sorts of fights to learn. The Dictate has layers to why they do as they do, they have many stigmas about them, even though they are a very secretive group, some rumors are that they are a cult that actually worship dragons at the highest level, so in taking their blood and using their bodies as equipment they become closer to becoming one. Another is that the Dictate is secretly a part of the Eastern Empire in their quest to control everything, in killing dragons and absorbing their powers they are able to cull and control the dragon population and in turn become stronger. There's many rumors about the group but what is most and well known is their hatred for dragons.

If you are interested in joining Isekai Hell, click the link in OOC above and join our discord in the first post, hope to see you there and say hello! We are all kind and welcoming!

Sterlat, Town of Jobs

In the town of Sterlat, in the eastern country of the world, there was always a job. Always an opportunity. Always a way. This town was located in the middle of a pretty dense forest and this place being on the border of the Eastern Country, referred to as the East Empire, just outside of the borders of the empire, the country itself was deemed pretty racist to non-humans, thanks to a war about fifty years back. This town always had a job, from clearing out goblins in caves to clearing out goblins in one of the many taverns to also clearing out goblins in a local home. Yeah, there was a lot of goblins around. Ther was also many mercenary jobs that involved hunting and clearing out animals, they were common, there was the job that had a large prize for hunting a blue fox, a thieving fox that has been hunted for some odd months. There was many jobs here, but that fox job was the most prize worthy of getting a large payout from the mayor himself of this town.

As Stormbreaker made her way through the town of Sterlat, there was quite the rowdy tavern nearby, a lot of yelling and cheering going on inside, much traffic moved on in and out, people having papers that had writings on them. A small group walked pass Stormbreaker, talking amongst themselves, they were new mercenaries by their gear and such. " Goblins... Shit. More goblins, it's always goblins. " One of them complained, " Pipe down, Meshra! A job's a job, and we will get paid for it either way. Killing goblins are easy, especially around here. We'll get paid well. There is still that job with the Blue Fox. We'll try that once we have better gear. " The continued their discussion down the street as they disappeared into the town.

Stormbreaker sighed deeply. It was a long journey to get to the place she was staying to get a decent job. She went from place to place, finding out and taking the lowest jobs possible to gain money. She needed enough money to stay in inns and food to eat. It was an annoyance. She had to keep up her maintenance for her armour and sword somehow as well. At least her fire magic came in handy for lighting fires and cooking food. Sighing deeply, the Draconian walked through the streets looking for an inn to see the jobs available.

She walked through the many streets of Sterlat, finding herself slowly going towards a tavern which had a lot of noise. It was loud, so there must be a job or two. While she was going towards it, she overheard a group of mercenaries walking past her. Normally, she wouldn't pay much attention, but the words they said made her stop for a moment in her talk.

So this place is ripe with jobs. This works for me. I like the sound of this Blue Fox job. Sounds right up my alley. I have to eat somehow.

Stormbreaker sighed and walked into the inn, sword on her back and her black armour and helmet covering her face from anybody seeing it. She quickly went to look for a bulletin board with the jobs available. This would help pay the rent.

Upon walking into the Tavern named, Rat's Cave, Stormbreaker would see that the tavern was pretty rambunctious, there was a few fights happening here and there. There was a bulletein board on the wall next to doors, on the walls there was nothing but bad and terrible jobs. Like "Find my cat for 5 pieces of gold." Jobs like that, there wouldn't be anything worthwhile on this board besides local jobs. Within the room, she would see a man on top of a table with a bunch of people around him, he was holding a folder and pulled out papers, handing them out to people quickly. " Here you go sir!- Ah, Here madam! There's two in that one- Oh! Here's one for you, sir knight! " The man was busy giving out different jobs to people.

Eventually people finally left the man after getting their jobs. He sat down on the table. " Finally! Gods above! " The man let out a huge sigh, he sat back up and flipped through the folder, " Ah... Only a few more jobs left... Damn it... " He sighed sadly.

The draconian sighed deeply as she looked at the board. These jobs weren't that great afterall. Not very good overall. Let alone great for gaining money. This was a waste of her time. An utter waste. Maybe if there was a decent job then she would take it. She sighed deeply as she turned to maybe go out to another place to find another job, only to notice the man at the table giving out jobs. He seemed to be popular.

Stormbreaker approached the table after he was finished with the others. She was frowning underneath her helmet, but luckily for her, nobody could see her expression. She looked at the man.

"You have jobs, yes? I'll take one. Doesn't matter which one. Give me one and I'll be on my way. I need the cash as soon as possible." The draconian said in an angered tone of voice.

The man in the top hat looked up to see this draconic figure, " Oh! Y-Yes I do actually! " He flipped through his folder, " I'm sure you know but some people have been talking about a blue fox needing to be captured because they get into cattle. No matter what! It is able to get through locked doors and walls, sneak pass guards, and even evade law enforcement. But it's location was found and we had people try to hunt for it. You look like the sort that goes for the harder jobs. " He gave a smile to the wandering mercenary, " Here! Maybe you'll be able to get the Blue Fox, even if you kill the fox, you'll get a reward. Although if caught alive, you'll receive double the reward. " The man went over the job like it was trivial knowledge. Handing the parchment that had all the knowledge she would need about the job. There was the location of the job, a grove just outside the town called Hangman's Gulley. The reward was a whopping 2,000 GOLD COINS!? They must have really wanted this fox if it caused so much damage. The rowdiness of the bar was getting more and more intense, there was fighting already and it wasn't even 9:00 yet.

It would be time for Stormbreaker to leave now, she had nothing more to do here.

Hangman's Gulley

As Stormbreaker made her way to Hangman's Gulley, about a mile or two outside of Sterlat, Stormbreaker would arrive to the sounds of crickets singing and owls hooting. There was an entrance to going further into the grove, she would see footsteps here, it seems other people were hunting for this blue fox, of course they would, with a job this high end others were bound to be here looking for it. Stormbreaker would most likely have to fight others to claim her prize.

The forest was enormous and open overall. It seemed easy to get lost in. It seemed like a maze from an outsider's perspective and she didn't know much about it, other than it was vast. Grabbing her greatsword off her back, the dragon strolled further into the forest, looking at the footsteps as she walked along. If there were people here, that could spell trouble. She was starting to feel tired after all from all this adventuring around but needed to press on. After all, she needed dinner and that reward of 2000 coins would prove to be very useful.

As she strolled further into the forest, she seemed to be on guard due to people possibly being nearby. She certainly wasn't going to let her guard down now of all things. She needed to focus above all. Focus on the trophy firsthand. That was the most important thing she could do.

If I succeed at least I can go for the even harder jobs.

Hangman's Gulley

Walking on through, Stormbreaker would notice the serenity of this place, how beautiful it was. Even for being the night, it was still bright here, almost like it was daytime. As she made her way through, seeing many small critters. It was a beautiful place until she would across a large tree with hanging bodies on it's branches, here there had to be about twenty bodies hanging from it's mighty branches. this would be a grim sight as a couple of these bodies would be of that small mercenary team she walked passed earlier at the Rat's Cave. Looking at their bodies now naked in front of her, there wasn't any signs of struggling on their arms and legs, no bruises on their bodies, their faces which would be concerning as they looked a little too calm for dead bodies almost like they weren't dead, their eyes had a weird black ring around them like a raccoon's. But something had to have taken their gear and such. While investigating the bodies there would be a faint yelling in the distance.

1655098511278.png

Making her way towards the noise, Stormbreaker would come across a pathway that led deeper into the Grotto, she would hear more yelling ahead, now being able to make out what was being said. " Hurry up! We have to get that damn fox! We're almost there! " The dragon woman would hear, seems whoever was doing this was in a rush. Down on the bridge that led to the next part of the grotto, she would see a dead body on the other side that had a stab wound that pierced through the chest completely with something incredibly sharp. Coming down she would see there was a symbol on the front of the leather jerkin they wore, but thanks to the blood it was covered up so it would be hard to make out any symbol. But they would have a weird looking weapon on them that was white, but it was see through, it felt like actual smooth metal but looked like a stone.

Stormbreaker

Stormbreaker walked through the forest, before coming to a part of it that just seemed off. Dead bodies everywhere in the trees, not a pretty sight. Something about it just made me feel uneasy, like that unexplained feeling of dread she had coming off her. What on earth did she get into? What was this forest? As she went deeper and deeper, Stormbreaker's mood seemed to get worse. Seeing dead people like that was never a good thing for her. The only reason she's in this world was that she was killed. It made her uneasy.

She didn't quite know why the bodies looked like that but it was suspicious, to say the least. She didn't like her odds. Something was amiss. Was it because of this blue fox?

She made her way deeper into the grotto, hearing a voice that was shouting about this blue fox in the distance. She kept going forward not before noticing a dead body with a sword next to it. Stormbreaker just stopped in her tracks, her freezing as she did so.

There's more...? I...

There was this feeling of intense fear in the back of her mind but one thing was certain. This was too dangerous. Even for somebody that was a hero back where she came from. She almost didn't want to press on as she did so, this has triggered some sort of feeling she didn't want to remember. Being scared. She stood there, thinking about what to do....her feet glued to the ground solely as she thought about what to do. She needed to destress herself, maybe think about other things. She exhaled deeply through her helmet, reaching down to look at the body and then the sword.

She went to cast [Appraisal F] on the body and then the sword to check about it. She wanted to know what was going on.

Upon Stormbreaker using appraisal on the dead body, she would see that he was stabbed through the chest with a sword and his neck was slashed. The body was still warm, and blood was still flowing out of his wounds, he was just killed then less than a minute ago. On his body was a small bag, within it was the contents of a strange amulet with a dragon's head on it and a green eye on the middle of it's head. Then some small pieces of gold and a old stale piece of bread. A journal now soaked in blood. The amulet would be of use possibly, it was up to Stormbreaker what she wanted to take. When she was finished, there would the clangs of swords clashing against one another, eventually there would be loud cries of pain yet the clashing continued.

Moving on, Stormbreaker would walk up the trail where the fighting grew louder, looking around the corner of a large rock, she would see a scene of fighting, dead bodies on the ground. Two men wearing chainmail with a red dragon's head on the chest, wielding swords as they pushing back two mercenaries who looked like they were not prepared for this. They had wounds on their bodies from strikes and slashes they have received. What was happening?

Stormbreaker looked at the body below her, investigating it. Seems like they had died from some sort of neck slash. This body was fairly recent. No matter. She searched the body, looking for anything useful. She noticed the amulet, but paid little attention to it, other than thinking it was some sort of dragon worshipping cult. Stormbreaker didn't think too much of it, not caring much for anything in the end. The body seemed useless. As she was trying to look for more gear, she picked up the sword that the dead mercenary had dropped. Not long after, she heard people nearby fighting.

As she got closer however, she noticed two of them fighting the other two mercenaries. Was she going to standby and watch? No, she had to help. She ran over and started fighting the mercenaries herself. It wasn't easy but she attempted to do by launching a stream of fire [Flamethrower] at one of the mercenaries with chainmail.

Hangman's Gulley

Quickly as Stormbreaker joined the fight, she would see they were in the middle of some strange looking ritualistic grounds, in the center was a small Orrey that looked like it was made of some sort of ancient strange stone, behind it was that blue fox, this looked more and more like a trap than anything else. The fox was staring at Stormbreaker as she joined, it gave a loud cry that a fox would cry. As these chainmail clad fellas pushed the mercenaries back, one's leg was slashed at the thigh by one of the chainmail attackers, the mercenary fell to the ground holding their leg in pain as the other was pushed back away from their partner. The first merc had their hands up, " Waitwaitwait! " They begged, not wanting to be killed as a sword was raised by the attacker, about to strike and stab them. Quickly they turned their head to see Stormbreaker after the fox cried out, a wave of flame enveloped them as they quickly recoiled, letting out a painful yell, the fire burning them as they backed off the mercenary. It looked like the tide was turning in their favor. The other chainmail warrior got distracted and looked away from their fight, the mercenary then was able to get a cheeky hit in by slashing their chest with a sword. the warrior backed up with a growl, it didn't affect them that much as chainmail was effective against swords, but it still hurt none the less. The two now engaged in a more even fight, blocking and parrying attacks.

The first burned warrior looked at Stormbreaker, " You fucking bitch! Who do you think you are- Oh my... A... A dragon. A actual dragon. " The warrior had wide eyes, now ignoring his burns as he stared over Stormbreaker's body, " Oh yes, yes. Yes you will do indeed. The Emphut will be most pleased. " The warrior then raised their weapon in a more defensive stance, weakened from Stormbreaker's fire attack, they looked substantially weaker, they looked like they would crumble at the first attack but they had spirit.

Stormbreaker

She walked forward, looking at the strange grounds below her. Were they killing people for the hell of it or was there more meaning to this? Stormbreaker stared at the blue fox as she attacked the chainmail warrior with her flamethrower. She smirked from underneath her helmet as her plan was working and she drew her attention back to the one who she set on fire.

Stormbreaker sighed deeply as she noticed the warrior had taken her hit from the flames fairly well, going to comment about how the hell she was and then she paused for a second. "Just another hero." She said with a confident tone of voice as she glared at the man. "I suggest you run while you have the chance. You won't get another chance!"

Stormbreaker said, dropping the sword she had picked up previously and using the great sword she had strapped to her back. She surrounded it on fire using [Fire Sword] going to swing it at the guy in chain-mail that was attacking the mercenary firsthand. She wanted to catch him off guard so the dude he was attacking could retreat. "

As Stormbreaker passed the warrior she just flamed, he fell down onto his hands and knees, weakened by her fire. " Gods damn... Seph, watch out! " He cried to the other attacking warrior in chainmail. As Stormbreaker closed in on the warrior still attacking the mercenary, pushing them back so much that they ended up tripped on themselves, the warrior pointed their shortsword at the mercenary who tried backing up. The warrior turned his head hearing running behind him, seeing Stormbreaker swing her flaming sword like something out of a story book. " Oh shit. " The warrior quietly said.

But from the corner of Stormbreaker's eye, a sword swung from the side to block her incoming flaming sword, looking to her side, Stormbreaker would see that she was blocked by a new warrior, half her face was that blue fox that transformed into a humans who had a evil smile on her face. Using her sword, she swung and pushed Stormbreaker back a few steps, the woman assumed a position with her side pointed at Stormbreaker and her sword pointing at the dragon. " Kill him. Now. " The woman demanded. Without a second thought, the warrior aimed his sword at the mercenary who was pleading for his life. " Wait! No! Nononono! Please- " his begging was cut off by a sword piercing the throat of the mercenary. The chainmail warrior twisted his sword, making a sickening crunch before pulling his bloody steel out. The body hitting the ground as blood surrounded the body. The chainmail warrior turned around and joined the female warrior. " No. This one is mine. Alone. Go be useless elsewhere. " She told the warrior.

1655944243577.png

The warrior scoffed and backed off. " As you wish. " He growled as he began to loot the body of the mercenary, taking whatever he had on him as his. " Looks like we have a dragon before us. I could smell you as you came through. Fearless you are but foolish. Like all dragons are. Your blood and body will do very well for us. " She held a saber in her hand. " Call me Nereva. I'll have you begging me to kill you after I'm through with you. " Nereva smiled a wicked one. She looked weak but she was able to block and even push Stormbreaker back who had a bigger and stronger sword.

Stormbreaker

Stormbreaker seemed confident she'd be able to attack the warrior, her attack nearly reaching the warrior, before the fox woman deflected her sword attack. They pushed Stormbreaker back a fair distance by the block, her feet digging into the ground slightly as she was pushed back. She went to save the mercenary that was going to be attacked till that warrior killed them.

Stormbreaker froze up at the sight of seeing the warrior being killed, not even reacting, only staring from under her helmet at the dead body. It dug up feelings that she had sheltered away from a long time since she brought up into this universe. The feelings of being unable to save anybody. That people hate to die, and she couldn't do anything about it. Stormbreaker felt helpless at the moment. She couldn't help but stare at the body, not even saying a word other than dropping her sword in fear.

Stormbreaker was, in fact, utterly terrified by what was happening. She failed to save somebody and memories of the fact came back to her in that moment.

Not again...couldn't even save anybody. What good am I as a hero? That's somebody else dead because of me!

The transforming warrior twirled her sword expecting a good fight, seeing her flaming sword ablaze, it brought a chill of excitement up the woman's spine that she would be fighting a real dragon. A real dragon! She felt the world close in on her and Stormbreaker, she had her saber ready for a counter move when she would make her move, she wasn't sure what Stormbreaker would go for, she hadn't seen her use this massive sword before. Even with it Nereva was barely able to push Stormbreaker back, it did require a lot of strength and that it was possible to beat her. As Nereva's evil smile came, it quickly faded as Stormbreaker dropped her sword onto the ground, the fire that burned on it extinguished immediately. Nereva was very disappointed as she stood up straight, seeing that the warrior was looking at the dead mercenary that she ordered her henchman to kill. " What? You lost the will to fight for him? " She asked, almost disgusted. " A compassionate dragon. I've heard you were beasts and scary but this? This is just pathetic. " Nereva spoke with venom. She then pointed her saber back at the dead body. " Desecrate the body. " She ordered. The warrior looked up, hesitant for a moment. Then they stood up once they had everything of value, they used their sword and began to repeatedly stab the corpse in their chest, then slash the face, making them unrecognizable.

1656045439962.png

She then pointed her saber behind Stormbreaker, " Take a gander back there. " Nereva's eyes did not leave Stormbreaker, having a smile on her face. If Stormbreaker looked, she would see the injured mercenary become stripped of their clothing, they were fighting two more chainmail warriors that were coming in as reinforcements. Once they were stripped naked and humiliated. The two began to beat and hurt the injured mercenary who was pleading them to stop. " A dragon does not care for what others are. They are meaningless if they are weak. You should know this. It's in your blood. " Nereva growled, she nodded her head and quickly the two warriors began to stomp on the poor feller who couldn't defend themselves. Blood quickly splattered on the ground. The pleading mercenary quickly had their life snuffed away. " Oops. I guess you let another one die. " Nereva mocked, she was trying to push Stormbreaker into fighting by having these men do heinous acts to these poor people trying to do a job.

Stormbreaker

Stormbreaker stood still as she looked on at the swordswoman. She pondered to herself on what to do, not knowing what to do next. That fear wouldn't let her survive through this if she didn't snap herself back into it overall. Stormbreaker slowly but surely listened to the woman, getting angrier at her statements overall. In this world, she was weak. Weak enough to not be able to fight back as strong from the world she came from. She had to start over from being the weakest. She detested that. Her feelings of weakness, however, were something that drove her to become stronger like she did before.

I died because I was too weak. I will not make that mistake again. Nobody deserves to die because of me.

Stormbreaker didn't care to turn around, keeping her eyes turned directly to the swordswoman. She was angered now. Angered that she was too afraid to stand before. "You truly are pathetic. Is racism all you people do in this world? You surely ‌realize that everybody is different, don't you? Did all dragon hunting fry your brain?"

She paused for a second. "Damn, you people are stupider than I thought. Whatever you smell me as a dragon, that'd be correct, cause I'm one, sort of. Although she's one slight difference."

Stormbreaker pulled off her helmet, revealing her human face as she threw her helmet to the side. "I'm human." The dragon rushed forward, throwing a punch at the swordswoman. "That says alot considering you aren't with the way you're killing your fellow species! You're more dragon than I am!"

Nereva scoffed at Stormbreaker's accusations, " Racism? It's more than just that, honey. It's survival of the strong and the decimation of the weak. It's the destruction of you lizards when you caused many problems in the past. Your powers are not suited for you. But for us. Us humans. " Nereva explained as she ran a finger on the side of her saber smiling at Stormbreaker, " So do not compare us to mere racists. " Nereva winked at her. Eventually, a couple more warriors moved behind Stormbreaker with their weapons drawn, when she revealed her face and threw her helmet. The warriors looked at each other then back at Stormbreaker, there was about seven of them now, ready to attack her. Nereva sighed of frustration, throwing her head back. " Fuck. Another half-breed. Isn't that just wonderful. " Nervea shook her head looking at the half dragon before them.

1656218550554.png
Nereva saw Stormbreaker lunge forward to attack her, she smiled as she came for her. Nereva could have moved but she wanted to taste battle, she wanted to fight this human. Nereva took a heavy hit across her face, her eyes didn't leave Stormbreaker as blood flew into the air. The chainmail warriors rushed forward and grabbed her, hitting her and beating her to a pulp as Nereva took a couple steps back. She wiped blood off her lip, seeing it made her smile, she licked the blood and looked to the warriors dog piling her. She growled, " Get off her you fools! " Nereva roared, they stopped beating Stormbreaker who would be on the ground covered in bruises and her body sore. " I don't want her dead. I wanted to actually fight her and now you damn idiots broke her. " Nereva growled. " Wonderful. Whatever, just knock her out so we can take her back. " Nereva sounded frustrated. As Stormbreaker laid on the ground, hurting. The last thing she would see was Nereva picking up her sword and helmet before she would be hit and saw blackness.

1656236278679.png

Upon waking up, Stormbreaker would find herself in bindings, chained up on a wall, her clothing and equipment gone, replaced with rags that covered her body. Around her she would see a couple of men working on tools, sharpening and such, there was a woman across from them, talking. She had crossed arms while the others continued working. she would turn her head to see the awaken Stormbreaker. " Well would you look at that. " the woman approached and it was Nereva, now wearing Stormbreaker's armor. " Hello there, finally awake? " She asked with a mocking smile.

Stormbreaker

Stormbreaker did her best to fight off the group of people from before, but they quickly overpowered her and they knocked her out unconscious. She seemed frustrated that she let her guard down and got knocked out, and get beat up by that bunch of warriors. The next thing she awoke too, was this dungeon type of room and she seemed to be restrained. She seemed to be in a fair amount of pain from being beaten up like that, however.

She growled as she noticed the woman nearby that was wearing her armor, only getting angry in response. She was going to get herself out of there and she looked down to notice that she didn't even have proper clothes on. Let alone her scarf was missing. Her armor and weaponry weren't the concern right now. She glared back at Nereva, only looking angrier as she did so.

"Give me back my scarf or I'll set you and everybody else on fire. You can't stop me." Stormbreaker growled. It was one thing to take her armor away, but to take away her scarf was another matter. Stormbreaker attempted to use her fire magic to get out of this situation, not knowing she couldn't even do so.

" Aww. That's so cute. " Nereva smiled, speaking in a mocking and condescending tone, " You actually think you can make demands. You even think you can use magic. " Nereva walked up close to Stormbreaker placing a hand on her cheek, giving her a gentle slap with a laugh. Nereva then growled as she punched Stormbreaker in her stomach, punching her a few times after that, causing Stormbreaker to cough. " You are NOTHING here! You will know your place as a slave to us! The Scales. " Nereva growled deeply, she then grabbed Stormbreaker by her hair and made her look at Nereva in her eyes. " You will do as your told, you will give scales like the good little girl you are. " Nereva spoke that last part in a little girl's voice to be further condescending. " And you will allow everything to happen to you without protest. If you do, well... You'll know what the punishment is soon enough. Especially with your fighting spirit. " Nereva smiled sweetly at Stormbreaker, she even leaned in a bit staring at her skin. " Don't worry, that pretty skin and face of yours won't be deformed. We made sure you would recover from any normal wound we give you. That also includes flaying. So keep that in mind. "

1656392894731.png

Nereva was smiling as she then gently released Stormbreaker, she leaned in and licked her cheek before backing up tasting her upon her lips. " Mmm... I look forward to drinking your blood. " Her eyes wide as she had her fists raised in front of her, shaking in a very excited manner before exhaling and calming herself down. " Hey! Bardo! Phalete! Get in here and take this Dargon down with the others! " Nereva yelled as she moved back to the two others in the room, talking with them as two armored guards, bigger than the chainmail warriors Stormbreaker was fighting, they had silver armor with gold overlaying on it, there was blue and red clothing that made for their lower torso. The armor was sturdy but not heavy, they would be able to move faster. Two of these armored knights came in with swords on their backs, they walked up to Stormbreaker looking over her. " Heh, a dragon without it's fangs. A rare sight. " One of them joked as the two began to unchain her arms. The other laughed at the joke before leaning into the dragon whispering. " Maybe I'll come to your cell later on tonight. Give you a Halfbreed to birth for the Scales. Like the good girl you will be. " The two scummy knights laughed as they apprehended Stormbreaker and took her out of the room. She would feel her body weak and sore from the beating she received earlier before she got knocked out and just now from Nereva. She would be dragged down a hallway as the two guards spoke of mundane topics; the woman they slept with the night before, the last man they killed, or what they were going to do after their guard time was up which usually involed the first two topics.

Eventually they reached a doorway and walked on through to a large prison, cells were lined up everywhere, there were men, woman and even children in these cells. One of the cells housed more than 12 people inside while the rooms were about 8 feet by 8 feet. Most of these people has scales on their bodies and looked very miserable. " NO! PLEASE! PLEASE! AGH! " Stormbreaker would see if she turned her head one of the guards beating a man in their cell, kicking them hard enough to break bones while wearing steel boots. This group was a very abusive and sadistic group, Stormbreaker would be dragged to the end of the hallway where ther was a open cell waiting for her. " Throw her in with the undead! " A guard held the door open for the, with the guards getting to open cell, they threw Stormbreaker in on her face, her nose breaking and bleeding. The door cell closed and the guards laughed walking off. Seeing the situation she in, it looked bleak and pathetic.

" You'll be fine. They placed a personal ritualistic tattoo on your chest. Your nose will heal rather quickly here... About. Now. " A voice spoke on the other side of the room. Stormbreaker would see white beady eyes staring at her in the darkness, there would be a few beds, if you can call them that, more like bed sheets on the floor. Just as he predicted, Stormbreaker's nose would heal almost instantaneously. " I have seen you somewhere before... Yes... In that place, Sterlat. " The voice spoke as the eyes rose up onto its feet, they stepped forward into what light was in the cell. Revealing a decaying and decrypted body, " Do not be afraid, I am harmless. For now. " He had onto a lower garb on, etched onto his chest he would have a tattoo with a circle, within this circle there was half a dragon's head. " You have the same tattoo on your chest as well. We are both slaves to the Dictate of Scales. We are in this together now. " The undead spoke, " Call me Dahak. " He huffed, " What do you go by, halfbreed? " Dahak asked with crossed arms.

Stormbreaker

Stormbreaker sighed as she got up off the ground, going over to the nearby wall and sitting down next to it. It's not like she could do much in this situation. The pain from being punched earlier was bad enough and that threat of torture overall. She felt useless in this situation, if only she had the power she had back in her original world, they would be unconscious by now by her flames.

Stormbreaker didn't seem afraid when she looked at the undead; however, her expression didn't change, like she had seen similar people before. "Can't say I'm surprised they did that." She said on the matter firsthand. She had noticed her nose had healed through the regeneration she had. It wasn't usually this fast it regenerated, though.

"Seen me somewhere? Surely you must be mistaken. I'm not the one for public appearances. Let alone without my armor on." Stormbreaker said, attempting to make a joke of this whole situation.

"I'm not afraid of you. It's not the first time I've interacted with somebody with a similar...appearance. I've interacted with plenty of people in my previous life with similar appearances." She exhaled. "I'm not one to listen to some worthless dragon racists. Let alone villains, that's what they are."

She looked slightly disappointed by the half breed comment. "I'm not one to disappoint but...I'm not halfbreed. My race is well...how do I phase it? Dragons are stuck in human form. Some can transform into dragon hybrids more or less, but most just have basic dragon features. The ones that can't transform into dragon hybrids are...disowned and banned from staying. Such as myself. I lacked the ability to do so, and they tossed me aside like I was nothing. I've been on my own mainly since I was about ten years old, not to mention that I'd probably be what....51, if I was still alive back in the universe where I came from now."

"My name is Stormbreaker. It's the preferred name I go by...I have no genuine hatred of humans, but dragonkind is a different matter. I've always been more human than the other dragons...I sympathize with human kind because I was one at some point. Sucks to be reincarnated into looking exactly like yourself and being the weakest as compared to being the fourth strongest hero and strongest person at controlling fire...."

" Oh no. I have seen you somewhere. " The corpse repeated, " When I... " Dahak waited for a moment, placing his hands behind his back as he walked to the cell door looking out. " Arrived. To that small town. I saw you there, passing by me to go to that tavern. I went to the same one, of course I was wearing my armor now gone. And was given that blue fox job as well. Followed to that Hangman's Gulley, a lot of bodies there that they hung up. " Dahak chuckled a little, " Well eventually I got caught. And when I did, I saw them carrying your unconscious body out. " Dahak shook his head. " So, yes, I do believe I have seen you. " This undead wasn't one for jokes, at least not lighthearted jokes.

Dahak smirked when she stated that she wasn't afraid of Dahak, who still looked out the cell, " Good. You shouldn't fear me just yet. " He turned his head, looking at Stormbreaker. " We can both help each other out. " Dahak sighed, " I am going to admit, I am not the best person. I was a very powerful mage. I just lost a lot of my power recently. " He looked at his chest with the tattoo etched onto him, " And now I am powerless. " Dahak looked back to the dragon woman. " Although that doesn't mean I still don't hold knowledge. " Dahak smirked, " These sickos are much worse than you realize. Real bastards here. They do things that you'll see son. " Dahak shook his head, " They'll make me look like a saint, and I'm bad. " Dahak let his arms fall.

" I should tell you that there aren't a lot of dragons left in the world. Or if they are, they are most likely hiding. But there are a lot of people that have dragon's blood in them. Not many full dragons. " Dahak stared down Stormbreaker, his expression became cold, cold as death. " Are you from another world? " He asked, he then realized his expression and softened up a bit. " Well, if you have questions, ask them. I'm probably the best thing you'll have to an encyclopedia. " Dahak stated. He then heard screaming down the cell block, then footsteps. " May want to hurry, I hear them coming. "

Stormbreaker

"Ah. So you followed me to that job. That job was nothing but a trap it seems like. It's a shame it was. The reward was pretty good if it was a genuine job. I really needed that money. I was hungry and tired too. Looks like I got a sleep in the most unexpected way..." She shook her head.

Not like it's important anymore, Arashi. They'll probably keep me awake constantly and let alone even eat.

She sighed. "As long as you don't take my food, drink and mess with me overall, I'm not afraid. Just don't attack me if you ever get free of that." She shook her head. "Never got the deal with magic....this world differs from my own. Why are you undead, though?" She asked.

"Tch, can't be that bad. Torturing people isn't very effective from the stuff I've seen. It's...not an excellent method of interrogation." She admitted. "If that's what you mean by them being sick. What's so bad about you, though?"

"Not alot of dragons, huh? Good. The fewer dragons, the better. I hate dragonkind. They can go perish for all I care. I'd rather be the last dragon standing then to let it exist anymore. If I have to slay all forms of dragon in this world, then so be it, I will." She said, her expression and voice at the sound of it becoming extremely serious and ruthless.

"I knew my world as Earth. My world is more advanced than this one and people that are captured like this rarely get treated that badly. More like with respect. Over 80% of the world was born with some sort of superpower known as Quirks that naturally occurred to them. I had an organ in my body that allowed me to manifest flames that also created explosions. More like an extreme form of magic, except mana was a more fictional thing only written about in books." She paused. "They well knew me for being one of the strongest overall. I went after villains who used the power these superpowers they had naturally to cause chaos as they didn't have a license to use said power. I presume vigilantes exist in this world in similar situations."

Stormbreaker paused once before taking a breath. "Only reason I'm in this world now is because...I got arrogant. I openly challenged villains to a fight and I...got surprised at my weakest moment and got killed. I was told that all heroes, students, including my 14-year-old daughter and everybody that dared to oppose the villains in that world were murdered before I woke up in this world. This god...told me. Pains me to think about how that lightning "I'm no hero" and ice bastard died and whatever happened to the water god that was number 1 that resulted in her death."

"Who is this...faction? What do they want and who the hell is this Ephet?"

After his answer, not before going to get up and go up to the cell doors directed at the guards. She got up and started shouting.a "Hey, bunch of dragon racists! Come and fucking fight me, dumbasses! I ain't afraid of you!"

As Stormbreaker spoke, Dahak kept on looking out the cell, his head turned to her once she spoke of him turning on her, " Don't you worry, I am not going to turn on you. I am after the ones that managed to catch me and turn me into a powerless zombie. Then after them, I am going to kill the group that hindered my powers. " Dahak growled as he raised a fist to chest level, clenching it tightly as he stared out the cell with a look that showed rage and death. He wanted to kill the entire group that took him down when he was so close to achieving his goal. He would have been able to cure his condition, kill the cult that had him under their control, and find a secret group of people that exist but hardly anyone exists.

Dahak's head quickly turned when Stormbreaker spoke of her world that she was from, he looked her up and down, as she spoke. Almost like he was planning, he had a mean look on his face, " Superpowers huh? Very interesting. " Dahak said with a hint of coldness, he crossed his arms as she continued to explain, although Dahak had already checked out as he was in deep thought. Conniving, plotting. Although her next question would catch his attention, asking who Ephet was. " Ephet? Not exactly sure who they are but I will tell you this, they are one of the high nobles of this strange group. Almost like a religious figure in a screwed-up way. Ephet is dragonic. I am not sure what for as I didn't study draconic. " Dahak explained, " I am also not sure what they look like or what they exactly are. But... If I am thinking what I am thinking... They may be something more. " Dahak shook his head with a sigh. Next would surprise the Necromancer, Stormbreaker would begin to goad the guards. Dahak scoffed, " You really are asking for a beating huh? Good luck, Stormbreaker. I probably won't see you for a few days. " Dahak moved to the back of his cell and leaned against the wall.

As the two previous guards came back, they heard Stormbreaker's goading and began to laugh, " You hear this bitch? " One of them asked as they came up onto the cell looking at Stormbreaker, they were much larger than the last few. They were about a foot taller than Stormbreaker, heavier than her and could easily break her. " This is the one that wanted to fight, right? That what the other two Claws said? " One asked, the other was observing Stormbreaker, " You think this one is a virgin? She has the body type for one. " The first began to laugh, " Wanting to break her in already? I'm pretty sure Nereva wants to save her for herself. " The other scoffed and shook her head, " Fuck that bitch, she thinks she's high and mighty because she caught this whelp here. She wants to fight so we will give her one. " The two guards unlocked the cell and quickly one of them barged in and grabbed Stormbreaker by her neck, easily lifting her off the ground. He leaned into her looking over her body. " This one is very cute. Very soft. Breakable. " He then walked out the cell and threw her onto the ground. Closing the cell door Dahak came on over to watch, leaning against the bars, " Good luck, Storm. You're going to get knocked around. " Dahak explained.

One of the guards backed away and leaned against the wall as one of them stared down Stormbreaker. " Come on, you want to fight so much. " There was yelling from the cells around them, other prisoners watching and yelling. The guard quickly punched Stormbreaker onto the ground, cracking her good enough to cause her vision to blur for a moment and her ears ring. The guard began to speak but Stormbreaker wouldn't be able to hear it. She would be picked up from her shirt from behind and throw backwards onto the ground, she would hit it hard before rolling across the ground as the guard walked on over laughing.

Stormbreaker

So he doesn't know much after all. What a waste. This sucks. I might as well be talking to a brick wall.

Stormbreaker didn't flinch as the guards approached, her unwavering determination obvious in her eyes. She only sighed as she talked about being a virgin. They couldn't be further from the truth. She was arrogant in her abilities to win after all, as these losers didn't look so tough.

As she was beaten up slightly by being thrown by the ground and then kicked, Stormbreaker had the feeling the best way out of this situation would be to run. What better way than to do so than to hopefully get out? She struggled to get up, her vision coming back and ears feeling like hell.

"So you wanna have sex with me? You could have asked politely. Have more respect for the full dragon, you little shit. What's the benefit, anyway? I'm too young, according to my species, to even have kids, let alone even be able. Then again, I had sex in my previous life. It was fun once, then again guys like you don't interest me. I may look like a full-grown adult, but here's one thing, dumbass, I'm nothing more than a hatchling according to my species."

She didn't show any form of fear as she plotted her next move. Getting out of her alive was her goal, after all.

"If you wanted to fight me fairly, then you this should have been on a fair playing ground instead of this bullshit. I hate this. I hate all of this. I'm not being your slave either, so do your fucking worst. I'm not listening to dragon racists. I couldn't give a fuck if my race gets wiped out and I'm the sole survivor. Good. Fuck em. I'm not staying around here any longer to amuse some dragon racists cause they can't get laid normally, so fuck off."

Stormbreaker said, it was at that moment; she dashed forward out of the guard's reach, using [Fast F] (12mph) to rush past them and get out of this area to escape at the very least. She had enough.

The two knights ignored Stormbreaker's lesson on some dragons being too young. They just wanted to have their way with her while fighting her, " Shut it, I like it when my women don't speak. " As Stormbreaker was getting hit, the Knights were laughing, the prisoners around them were yelling and shaking their cell doors, whatever they were saying she wouldn't understand, it was like Stormbreaker was in a real prison. The Knights were abusive guards and Stormbreaker herself was a prisoner, a very ironic situation for the former hero. When her hearing came back, she would hear the one approaching knight, " I'll have you begging for me soon, maybe I should just take you in front of all these prisoners. " The knight laughed, but she would suddenly take dash off into a random direction.

1657261068203.png

As Stormbreaker ran, the knight growled and lifted his hand up in Stormbreaker's direction, suddenly the tattoo on Stormbreaker's chest lit up and her entire body would begin to hurt, feeling like her body was burning severely. Stormbreaker would fall onto the ground, almost paralyzed in pain, her entire body would shake violently as she fell onto the floor. This pain would be agonizing, unlike any she had felt as it felt like her skin was being flayed off with electricity flowing under her skin. Quickly footsteps approached Stormbreaker, the pain stopped, and she would be able to move finally, then her foot would be stomped on, breaking her foot and ankle with a sickening crack and rip. As Stormbreaker cried in pain, she would be grabbed her hair and pulled down the hallway, the prisoners booing her for running, even from an impossible fight you never run.

Moving down the hallway to a large door that opened for them, Stormbreaker would continue to be dragged along by her hair. The previous knight following after them, Stormbreaker's foot would not heal from being stomped, her tattoo was still burning on her chest like she was just branded. As she was being dragged, she would be hit with a strong fist on her cheek, most likely fracturing her cheek. " You stupid bitch, you think you can get away that easily? The one thing I hate is when they try to run. " She would be brought down another hallway where there was a lot of muffled screaming and yelling. Stormbreaker would be dragged through to a large opening. Reaching the end of this hallway would be a dropoff into a pit.

" Here you fool. You want to run? How about you work your ass off. " The knight then kneed Stormbreaker in her face, breaking her nose and some of her front teeth. Blood would splash in her mouth, and she would taste it. The Knight then threw her down into The Pit, she would fall down onto a stone floor where she would fall about one story down. Because of her broken foot, she would not be able to land properly and instead fall on her face. More bones broke in her body as she laid there in a pool of her own blood. Eventually the tattoo stopped burning and her body would begin to regenerate and heal her, her teeth came back, and her bones mended. When she recovered and looked all around her, she would see people and lizard alike working to mine this large crystal ore in the middle of this pit, the crystal was clear with a tint of white with orange in the center of it.

The prisoners working on it were using pickaxes to mine this ore, when they break a part off, they would spew fire out of both ends, usually burning the one that just mined the ore. So, there was occasional yells from pain. A prisoner walked up to Stormbreaker and dropped a pickaxe in front of her, " Get to work. " They were a big man with multiple tattoos etched on them, having three of them on his bare chest and even one on his bald head. They walked back to the large crystal ore, there was wheelbarrows that were being filled with this strange glassy ore. Whenever they were full, they would take the wheelbarrows to a door on the other side of this large pit where more prisoners would open it and take the barrows in then give it back now empty, then the process would repeat.
