this a bnha au rp centered around the students of taiyou academy, their journey to heroism, and their odd experiences as attendees,
having been told that they're to take part in a year-long, school-wide game. unbeknownst to them, the silly, light-hearted game
will start to take on a much more twisted nature.

hi! i'd like to start this part off by making a few things clear! for one, please don't clutter this thread with ooc! this place is for character sheets exclusively. as a result of that, i'll also be notifying people of what they need to change/their acceptance in ooc!

next, there are specific quirks i won't be accepting, however the main ones are AFO/OFA. also, as a point of reference, if you find that you need to write a novel to explain your character's quirk, you're probably better off just figuring out another quirk altogether. c':

blood cure || the user can transfer her blood’s regenerative properties to heal others.

thought lock || is a standard telekinesis type, allowing sophia to manipulate multiple objects in an environment with her mind.

gravity || jin can control the gravitational anchor of a person or object within 2 meters of himself.

retaliation || the user can transfer kinetic energy from an outside source into his limbs for a retaliatory attack.

mirror skip || can slip into and out of mirrors/reflective surfaces.

black cat's trick || the user is capable of manipulating luck

sound blast || takes the sound waves around her, and turns them into huge blasts.

HERO OUTFIT this. minus the uh, weapon thing. it's worth noting his sleeves fall past his hands - and that he also has black-metal joint-armor rings that take on the appearance of claws (he uses them as very sharp, small, edgy-looking blades). for shoes, he wears black and red basketball shoes with iron soles and retractable blades. usually they're untied, but that part isn't supposed to be intentional.

PERSONALITY
hitodama is, to simply put it, chaos-personified. truth be told, it’s a wonder how he managed to get into the heroics class, considering his questionable infatuation with villains and apparent lack of care towards heroes. this has gotten to the point where he’ll act as if he were a(n unironically cheesy) villain, claiming to have done a number of terrible, horrible things and that he will continue to do so. he even goes as far as claiming he’s the leader of a major underground villain organization, that of which is responsible for a number of global catastrophes. if it weren’t for the fact that his demeanor is much like some childish teen stuck in his edgy 6th grade fantasies (i.e trying to act all “cool” and “bad” and failing most the time), then maybe his words would hold some weight. because, well, he really isn’t one to follow rules, and he truly is a delinquent of some sort.

despite his words being loud and not always making sense, and his actions being bold and many times destructive, as well as his entire villain persona, he… is actually pretty friendly. he loves socializing with just about anyone, whether it be by bantering about or pulling one of his pranks (or as he likes to call them, ‘villainous acts’) on whoever. while talking with him, one will quickly come to realize that he is incredibly hot-headed and expressive, touchy (in an unintentional way), mischievous and… uh, concerningly stupid.

hitodama has made some sort of reputation for himself due to everything mentioned above. he frequently breaks his curfew and winds up in places he isn’t supposed to be, or finds himself constantly in detention because he somehow destroyed school property or kept being a major distraction in his classes. he’s always stealing things and creating inconveniences for pretty much everyone around him, and because of this, people tend to find him annoying (or, on the other end, entertaining. it depends honestly).

BIOGRAPHY
initially, the amount of attention hitodama received from his parents was somewhat minimal. the maneki family wasn’t exactly in the most comfortable position, so a lot of work had to be done to keep everyone afloat. thus, his parents were often out late, and their expectations of him and his older sister, umeko, were high out of the want for them to lead more successful lives. unfortunately, hitodama was quick to prove he wouldn’t keep up with said expectations, so all of them were pushed onto umeko (as well as what little attention they had to spare). regardless of them basically being opposites, since it was common for the two to be home alone together, they wound up becoming each other’s best friend (with the additional sibling banter).

while at school, hitodama would always cause trouble. it was one of those typical “annoying but entertaining” type of situations that tended to happen here and there, in the eyes of his teachers and peers. on several occasions, when one of his parents were actually able to make time for them, the parent-teacher conferences typically all ended with his teacher saying that he was headed down the path towards delinquency. as it turned out, they wouldn’t be wrong, though with situations like this, there was always a deeper layer. in this case, it’d be no different.

sometime in 5th grade, a day would come to pass, and that day would be the last time he’d ever see umeko. he didn’t get what happened or why things went down the way they did, but something deep down told him that it was somehow inevitable. just before then, he’d gotten into a major altercation with his mom over him committing a crime and her having to clean up after it.

”you know, your teachers always warned us about this. you’re a villain, aren’t you?”

after the combination of these two events, hitodama didn’t remember feeling too distraught over it, but rather, there was an ignition. villains. perhaps he could become one. what would happen if he did? did this mean his parents liked villains? if he became the best villain, then maybe they would like him, too... since people talk more to those they like. and it would be so easy. he didn’t know why it’d be so easy, but there were so many reasons… he thought.


「he misunderstood the context of everything completely.」

from then on, things only began to get even more chaotic, and his personality became closer to what it is today. many of his actions could be considered pretty devious, and because of this, it’s almost a mystery how he managed to get into the heroics course. truthfully, it mainly has to do with several incidents where, while intending to do something "bad", it led to something good instead. there was also the fact that his personality painted him in a light that suggested he was just some child who stayed in his edgelord fantasy phase for too long (which technically wasn’t wrong). honestly, it's pretty easy to see that despite his rebellious nature, he's really not a bad guy. i think.

QUIRK portal
TYPE emitter

BASIC the user can create and link a number of portals.
an annoying quirk for an annoying person.

IN-DEPTH it allows its user to open up multiple portals and link them to one another indicated by matching colors (currently, hitodama can create 6 portals/3 links simultaneously). it’s worth noting that anything in the process of traveling between two linked portals will be severed should both close at the same time. not only that, but should a portal not be linked with another, then whatever goes inside will enter a pitch black space (if living: where they can’t use any of their senses except sight, or breathe). that being said, if the user closes the portal while something is in that space, then whatever it is will just get forced back out at a somewhat high speed.

LIMITATIONS the distance between linked portals doesn’t have a limit, however they can only be created within a radius of ~20 meters of the user. considering the nature of the quirk, it’d be unwise for the user to keep a portal open for more than a minute or so, as the amount of energy it takes actually increases [ exponentially ] every second it’s open. the more drained the user is, the more erratic their portals become, meaning that their accuracy and the time they stay open become more imprecise, up until they can't create anything at all.

EXTRA
✧ he’s a very heavy sleeper and despite often going to bed kinda early, he always wakes up late.
✧ in middle school, he was notorious for arriving to class really late (or downright skipping). this year the staff told him that if he wanted to stay in the heroics class he’d need to cut it back a lot.
✧ he loves collecting random shiny things he finds (sadly, a lot of the time it’s just trash).
✧ his grades are tragic.
✧ he'll often be chewing bubble gum.
✧ he may end up giving people nicknames that are way far fetched and don’t make any sense.
✧ ^actually, some of the things he says in general won't make any sense.
✧ he tends to take things literally, so sarcasm and other things of that nature don’t work on him. that said, he’s also pretty gullible.

PERSONALITY
smug :: akagane is roughly viewed as a smug individual with the way his ego usually carries him. he has a lot of pride in his abilities and every ounce of his aura screams it. although, it's not like he's trying to show it off to others, its more or less a way of him trying to play off the fact that he's most definitely hiding something.

enabler :: he holds no amount of hesitation to encourage someone else to do something they want to do, whether its bad or good, akagane just wants to witness the result of it. its the thrill of it all that doesnt make him voice out his actual opinions. he just wants to see how far that person will go and if it was truly worth it. some may even call him out on it, yet, he'll brush it off and clean himself off of the blame. thats just how it works out for him anyway.

curious :: just like his enabler aspect, hes as equally intrigued by absolutely everything. akagane leaves no stone unturned when it comes to new experiences or friendships. the need to thoroughly seek every possibility is what gets him to be so friendly with those he encounters. this is the first side of him that everyone meets anyway until he begins to crack himself open progressively.

impulsive :: now this is where the fun really begins, akagane has no respect for rules and values his own liberty. he is considered to be highly unpredictable or selfish, but his behavior is not totally random. with this, he tends to follow whatever whim strikes him at the moment. it stems off from his curiosity mainly. at this point, its incredibly up to everyone else to determine how they feel about him. akagane deep down, doesn't really care. but, he won't really express that so early on.

chill :: akagane isn't as bad, he's relatively laid back and only acts when need be. you'll occasionally see him walking around with his arms behind his head with a lazy grin on his face or in the background watching everything go by. but in a moments notice, when something really ticks him off, does his aura change. his once happy side can easily evaporate to a much darker side of him that does not hesitate or question. its best to avoid this part of him all together.

secretive :: and just like the rest of his already interesting list of traits, akagane gives off a sense of mystery with every step he takes. he beats around the bush when it comes to specific questions that can either be directed towards him or anything else. sometimes the information can inaccurate depending on his mood. personally, he just doesn't see the point of revealing certain things when it doesn't benefit him.

BIOGRAPHY
the joys of growing up for akagane was nothing short of special. it felt like a typical generic way of growing up with a family in a nice home relatively far from the city. there was a specific reason as to why his family was so far apart from society and it wasn't for the idea of wanting peace. the kimura's were heavily involved in any sort of gang or villain activity that plagued the city. a mark on the back of their necks is what makes it easy for outsiders to distinguish their initial betrayal to the now ever growing hero society. no one ever suspected them to be one of the founders for the villainous group thats currently thriving in akagane's present time.

akagane was raised in this environment, so naturally, it makes sense that he initially took part of what he used to consider fun while growing up. yet, something in him changed as the days kept ticking by. the thought of being in this business was really beginning to bore the young boy out. he just wanted to experience a normal childhood and actually have friends or at least try to. even if it meant running away while his whole family was asleep. from one day to the next, thats exactly how it went. akagane had packed his stuff up, gave one last look to the place he one called home, and gave a smug farewell as he disappeared into the city he would now call home. he had hoped that this heroics course would entertain him long enough.

QUIRK lightning manipulation
TYPE emitter

BASIC the user can conjure lightning to either infuse with weapons or their body in combat

IN-DEPTHthe user is able to turn their stored energy into electricity and can gather it at specific points or objects to make it viable in contact. weapons must be conducive yet resistant enough for the flow of energy to remain consistent with the user. objects made of certain metals are some of the more commonly used objects for the user due to this, in akagane's case, he prefers to use swords and metal threads. However, if the user finds themselves weaponless, they may also focus said energy into certain parts of their bodies to enhance either their speed or severity of attacks.

LIMITATIONS the drawback of being able to produce enough electrical energy in combat, wears out the user and can only hold it for a solid 10 minutes (it maxes out with more training) if they are using weapon. if they are only using it in specific parts of their body, they are limited by a certain percentage of usage before their body gives out and renders them out cold. roughly, akagane can only use up to 5~10% at the moment.

PERSONALITY
Ryu is a very quiet guy with little words to say, just so he avoids as much conflict and interaction as possible. There are very few people that could make him talk more than usual. Those people will figure out who they are as over time he begins to express more around them, and become more interactive with them. Another part of him is his expressions that make him seem like he's rude and unapproachable, though with that in mind, his heart is in the right place. He doesn't like to show his heart much to anyone, but when he does, he's very friendly, protective, and overall enjoyable to be around. Though sometimes he slowly reverts to being quiet from time to time. Ryu usually mumbles to himself when he's alone, deep in thought, or irritated with a situation. Either that, or he's drowning his words into his thoughts to avoid any conflict he could make with his smart mouth.

Despite all of this, when he's around his 4 Hamsters, those little animals can make this man light up a room with his smile and they usually make him happier when he's confused or upset. Those animals alone give him stress relief with how quickly they flood all over him and just cuddle with him. They're almost like little dogs and Ryunosuke couldn't ask for better animals. Though he knew that they didnt have large lifespans, he would do what he can to be with them as long as he can. Aside from his love for his animals, Ryunosuke will usually portray himself with a careless attitude toward people, seemingly not caring about the well-being of others and tries to seem like the quiet, egotistical guy in the class. Though it's only for show and nothing more than that. Nothing to back it up. When angered, its almost impossible to calm him down, when he's fighting for something he has a full heart in, its dangerous to try to stop him without a stronger person to shoot him down. To get him this mad would take a lot, however.


BIOGRAPHY
Ryunosuke had both parents as a child. Usually people had problems with one parent, were foster kids, or even was in the middle of a divorce. Anything usually happened when it came to families, especially with kids that had quirks. As a young child, Ryu never had a quirk, he never thought he'd develop one. One day in middle school, as he was making his way out, he heard some kids screaming and laughing, but it wasnt that of playing. It sounded a lot worse than 'fun'. Of course, he went to investigate and found a few kids bullying another. One who had horns coming out of his head, making fun of him, calling him a demon. The poor kid just had a quirk that changed his appearance a bit by giving him some horns. Nothing wrong with that. Being the kid that he was, he ran over and shoved the kids away, shouting and getting to the kid before grabbing and running off with him. Only to be followed. At the time, Ryu wasnt big on confrontation but he was big on saving others from trouble. Running down various streets and stopping into an alley with the kid. Apologizing for running as they both tried to catch their breath.

However, Ryu and his new friend were not alone as they were found, being trapped from both sides, one of the kids carrying a knife on him this time. Being the protector he was, Ryu went and tried to fight the guy, his left arm being sliced up before a strike to his eye had caught him. The blade causing a huge gash over his left eye, making it almost impossible to open that eye during the situation. While in the middle of this fight, he activated his quirk, causing an explosion and definitely making the kids back off and run. Ryu was surprised by this but he was glad it happened because otherwise, the fight may have lead to death. After that day, not only was he rushed to the hospital, but he was now left with a scarred eye and a scar-ridden arm. Which he covers with bandages on the daily to hide it from anyone out in public. For about two months, it took his eye a while to heal, but once the bandages had been removed, the scar over his eye was obvious and ever since then, he had a constant reminder of how he saved someone.

Messing with his quirk some more, he eventually found out what he could do and began to fiddle with it and eventually call it Flashbang. He had electricity in his body while he can make explosions. Boom. Then he soon joined the school that turned kids into Heros. Something he could make use with his quirk other than being evil.

IN-DEPTH
Wherever there is oxygen available, Ryunosuke is able to use that oxygen to condense it and create large and small explosions. He can also use his ability to create air pockets under the water, as well as Taser Hands to tase someone directly if needed. The only way you'd really know he's about to cause an explosion is when the air seems to look hazy, giving it a mirage effect before he sends a shock from his body into said-hazy air to create said-explosion. The more energy put into condensed air, the bigger the explosion but at the cost of his own energy levels. When directly tasing someone, this is great for offensive uses, but it also depletes his electricity levels that he stored up.

LIMITATIONS
Replenishing his Electricity is difficult once depleted. The ways he can bring this back is rustling in sheets, clothes, etc. Basically anything that could create electricity. Running is helpful to this.
Pushing himself beyond his limits can cause his quirk to burn out and not allow him to use it unless he rests for a good 8 hours for his body to cool down.
Ryu cannot make condensed air at 50 feet into the air. 15-20 feet is his max range.
The bigger the explosion, the less energy he has. Thus he tries to make smaller explosions that aren't brutal on his body.

Ryu likes to bake surprisingly enough, he also cooks very well for someone who's as quiet as he is.
He likes the beach even if he wont admit it.
He can be mean to girls but if they react in a sad way, he has a guilty heart and goes Tsundere mode.

Personality:
Chisuke is determined and always strives to do things without the use of quirks, though he understands that sometimes he must use it and just work.thriugh the pain.In fact he seems to have quite an apathy for quirks in general, not showing the excitement towards having one that other people have. But he is also always very encouraging of other people, especially those who happen to have weak quirks.

Chisuke somewhat quiet and withdrawn, but not to the point where he actively avoids people. He simply finds words hard to grasp when around others, which may come off as cold or rude sometimes.

Background:
Chisuke was born to a decently well of family and grew up with two parents who had mediocre quirks (one can change her skin to a shade of crimson, the other can write with his finger) Chisuke had been expected to have a similar low level quirk, but one might of screaming at the age of 5 changed that prediction. He had discovered that his quirk was surprisingly powerful, but also impossibly painful. For that reason he chooses to rarely use it. But from time to time he did still use it subconsciously, mostly in instances where he was protecting himself or others.

This was something Chisuke struggled through for his entire childhood, but despite that still wished to help people. So he took up Krav Maga so he could still good his own in a fight, even without his quirk. During this time Chisuke took up meditation and cerebrovascular exercise, in hopes of making his quirk less painful.

Growing up Chisuke also found it hard to make friends, never really finding that social balance others had. Though he did find one friend in a guy who called himself Prince. He was loud and annoying, but had helped Chisuke fend of bullies who were trying to force him to use his quirk.

Quirk: Blood Armor
Type: Transfornation

Brief: User uses their blood to create armor

In depth: Chisuke can concentrate on his blood cells and force them to rise to the surface of his skin. They pushed through several pours and then harden. This creates a strong armour that is near impervious. This armor can be and on any part of Chisuke's body

HERO COSTUME: Uchi shirks flashy costumes and elaborate weapons. His main hero costume is a pair of black boots, gray sweatpants, and a black tank top. Aside from some hand wraps, he currently uses no weapons, but has been thinking about putting in a request for a pair of knuckle dusters or gauntlets to augment his punching power.


PERSONALITY
In a manner that fits his quirk and fighting style, Uchi likes to project a vibrant personality. He taunts his enemies in fights, and shouts encouragement to his allies. He is easygoing, flexible, helpful, and enjoys cracking dry, sarcastic humor that can sometimes border inappropriate, childish, or crass. He often mocks others, but often only does so if he considers them close or holds them in high regard. This can often give those unfamiliar with him the impression that he is a bully. His experiences have taught him that those who can laugh at whatever life comes up with usually survive the longest. He likes to remain a rock of unshakable good humor. Uchi can often come off as insubordinate, but respects authority as long as he respects the one who wields it. Overall, Uchi is intelligent; he's a solid A/B student. Nothing to brag about, but he doesn't have to work too hard to do well when it comes to academics.

The personality Uchi portrays sometimes doesn't match what he's really feeling. He tends to bottle up his emotions. Uchi dislikes overly sensitive individuals, or blatant optimists. BIOGRAPHY
The son of successful pro-heroes, Uchi was raised in a strict household with high expectations. Uchi inherited his father's quirk, Knockout, and was groomed to follow in the footsteps of his father's legacy. The boy idolized his father like no one else, and dreamed of becoming a hero himself. Uchi picked up the sport of boxing at a young age, with his father serving as his coach. Uchi's pride, combined with his wealthy upbringing and natural talents, made him somewhat arrogant and idealistic in his younger years. But as he grew up, the boy had a front seat to witness the stress that was placed on his parents by their position. Although they put up a good front in public, they dropped it at home. Fights were a daily occurrence, and violence sometimes followed. The rose tinted glasses fell away, and Uchi began to see the nasty side of being a hero. His resolve about being a hero wavered, and he often channeled his inner frustrations at his domestic situation into aggressive behavior against others.

It took tragedy to shake Uchi out of his indecision. Uchi's father could KO a dangerous villain in minutes, but his inner fight against alcoholism lasted years, and he ended up losing the battle when Uchi's mother was killed during a disastrous raid on a safe-house frequented by villains. Uchi's dad blamed himself, and retired soon after. Uchi watched his childhood hero, now a shadow of his former self, alternate between dead end jobs and drunken alcohol binges. After a particularly late night spent hauling his comatose father home from a bar, Uchi, at 15, decided that he would pick up where his father had left off. Sitting on the roof of his apartment complex, his eyes burned with hopeful determination as he looked across Kyoto's vibrant nighttime city skyline.

He would enroll at Taiyou academy. He would work hard, and fight to embody the ideals his father had stood for.

He would dedicate himself to defending those who could not defend themselves.

With his fists if possible, and with his life if it was necessary.

TYPE Mutation

BASIC Increased speed, strength, and durability. Getting damaged powers him up.

IN-DEPTH Uchi's quirk gives him increased speed, strength, and durability as a base. Whenever he takes damage during a fight, the effects of his quirk are boosted. When it is activated, Uchi's fists and eyes glow with neon purple light. Just when his enemies think they've gotten the upper hand, Uchi comes back swinging with twice the ferocity he had before. As such, it is sometimes Uchi's strategy to take damage that other heroes might seek to avoid. Overall, Uchi combines his quirk with a fighting style that is quite similar to Western boxing. His special moves and finishers are named after boxing maneuvers as well. "I didn't hear no bell!"

LIMITATIONS The power that Knockout grants its user does not come without cost. The more his quirk is activated, the faster Uchi's stamina runs out, and the more he must focus. As such, he must learn to pace himself, lest he reach his limit at an inopportune time. Fights must be ended before this happens, or Uchi may have to rely on team members for support. The nature of Uchi's quirk doesn't give him much support utility, but Uchi will follow directions if he understands the purpose. Uchi is a close range fighter; if his enemies decide to whittle him down from a distance, there is little he can do unless he closes the gap.

PERSONALITY
kaiyo is a gentle spirit, facing the world with a bright smile everyday. she is a strong believer of "what goes around, comes around" which is why she tries to be friendly with everyone. her patience for others is quite high though can run a bit thin for those who are constantly negative, like bullies or villains. despite her happy personality, she can be very sensitive with particular topics such as her quirk. often times she will pout like a moody teenager or give people the silent treatment if she is upset.

she is very humble when it comes to her achievements and praise but it always leaves her in a more cheerful mood anyways. kaiyo is a very bad liar, a stuttering mess when she tries which is why she is always honest with others. while she tries her best to sugarcoat the truth, sometimes she can be a little too honest - of course she always feels bad if she hurts someone's feelings though. teamwork and camaraderie always come first to kaiyo but when she is particularly invested in something she can get a little competitive.

BIOGRAPHY
being the only child, kaiyo was always spoiled and loved by her parents. whatever she wanted she would receive within reason, so as long as she kept up with her academics she was rewarded. her weekdays consisted of after school tutors, hired by her parents to help her excel in academics. of course since she was still young at the time, it was hard for her to concentrate on most days but it paid off eventually. she was particularly close to her mother who always packed the best lunches and took her wherever she wanted to go on the weekends. they did a lot of things together, they went to the park, to the mall, even hiking; everyday with her mother was filled with laughter and smiles.

like most children, kaiyo developed her quirk at a very young age. she thought it was the coolest thing, to be able to grow horns and claws, even to see in the dark light a cat! to the other students though, her quirk was fearful - villainous. kaiyo never gave it much thought being a hero at first, she was content with her small family but after the kids at school called her a villain, she wanted to prove them wrong. some days she would feel discouraged but her mother was always supportive, buying her comic books and hero merchandise.

a few months before enrolling into taiyou academy, kaiyo lost her mother to cancer. it was a devastating hit to her and her father, and she would be lying to say she hadn't changed because of it. though her mother always remained positive through difficult times which gave her the courage to do the same as she aspired to become a hero.

PERSONALITY: Hoshiko has a loud personality. Some compare her to the gum that sticks to the bottom of your shoe: unasked for, unwanted, she'll pop up anyway with a vibrant, unshakable energy that can't be squashed. Others say she's like a pop song: fun, bouncy, but sometimes overwhelming. Hoshiko is upbeat, confident, and determined. No matter how much life throws her way she gets right back up. She's optimistic, friendly, and very competitive, even over the most petty of things. (She's passed out several times due to trying to hold her breath the longest, eaten and then thrown up her weight in noodles, and spent an entire day and night locked in a staring contest.)

Hoshiko is a very active, high-energy extrovert. She loves sports, with baseball closely followed by soccer as her favorites. Though she isn't into stereotypically "girl" things, she doesn't look down on them, and may join in with a friend to make them happy. She's very bold to the point of stupidly reckless, especially when dared to do something. When she gets hurt, she tends to bury it under a show of nonchalance and to channel her energy into whatever she can to fix the situation or herself for it, even to the point of self-destructive obsession.

BIOGRAPHY: Hoshiko was born as the second child of the Noguchi family, with a sister, Sai, older than her by twelve years. Her early childhood was mainly pleasant, and though she did faintly notice fighting between the family, it didn't often break into her personal bubble. Sai would often take her out of their apartment into the city, to play with other children, or to her great-aunt Hekima's apartment when times got tense.

Hoshiko was the first generation in her family to have a quirk, but not the first one. Sai was born with a quirk similar to hers, though her Gel had a dark, purplish tinge to it. When Hoshiko was four, Sai used these powers in a vicious attack. No one knows quite what happened or where Sai went afterward, but she caused serious property damage in and around their apartment complex and was labelled a villain. Some speculate that she snapped due to something involving their father, as their mother left him shortly afterwards and moved away to remarry in the country.

Hoshiko missed her sister and her great aunt very much, but she adjusted quickly to her new surroundings. She loved the country even more than the city, and even made a few friends, though as her quirk began to become more obvious, most people kept their children away and looked at her with disgust and suspicion. The fact that her own sister had become a villain didn't help, and neighbors tried to drive them out, passively or aggressively, several times. The family even moved twice because of trouble with the neighbors, both times still living in the country.

Hoshiko didn't let this dampen her spirit, however. It did hurt and scare her, but Sai and Hekima always told her to be proud of who she was, and she kept that in her heart. She had live-in playmates anyway when she was ten and her baby brothers were born. They were young, but they quickly grew to admire and try to imitate her. Hoshiko loved showing off for them, until when they were three and her mother caught her showing off with her quirk. Hoshiko was under strict rules to never use it, but she thought it couldn't hurt to cheer them up after a local child wouldn't allow them to come to his birthday party. Though neither of the twins had quirks, the other children often ostracized them as well.

Scared for the twins' safety and scared from Sai, Hoshiko's parents sent her back to Hekima in the city until she could learn to control herself and her power. She missed the country and her family very much, but used this to fuel her determination to become a great hero and prove to the world and her family that she isn't a monster. She continues to video chat with them occasionally, and still has a good relationship with her brothers.

QUIRK: Gel

TYPE: Mutation

BASIC: User has an unnaturally jelly-like composition and can create gel substances for sticking to or absorbing things, etc.

IN-DEPTH: Hoshiko's body is somewhat mutated into a jelly-like human form. While she mostly resembles a human, her skin is tinted green and she has a squishier, less solid form and dark green blood. This makes her lighter, bouncier, more resistant to hits, and more flexible, as while she does have structure, she's not as hardened as someone with normal bones. She's easier to cut through, but her body is also able to heal from worse than natural human bodies. Her skin is smoother and softer, with a different feel than usual skin. She gives great hugs.

In addition to this, she is able to form lime green gel. These usually have a base shape of orbs, which can have various consistencies, from soft and fun to hold and squeeze to stickier goop. She can use this to stick to walls or other objects, create stress balls, bounce pads, and the thicker, messier cousin to the waterball, as well as to potentially absorb attacks, objects, or even people if she can train up to that level. As of right now, though, it's more of a party trick for her, and she's not very good with controlling it.

Her gel is something she is able to create from herself, potentially from any part of her body, though she usually uses her hands. It's not exactly created by pulling it directly from her, but by creating more from her, but it still takes a lot of energy, water, and substance from her, which can lead to dangerous difficulties with overuse.

LIMITATIONS: Overuse causes her to become gray, dry, and brittle, and extremely weak, dehydrated, and in pain (in her words, "it's like having all your insides sucked dry"). She might pass out. Dehydration is a frequent danger, so she has to drink water or otherwise absorb it (through a shower, rain, etc), and she has to eat plenty of food to keep her energy and substance up.

PERSONALITY
naho's personality could be described to be something rather unpleasant to some. he's quite the pessimist and overall a pretty melancholic character - him often muttering 'what ifs' under his breath and defaulting to having ill expectations about many situations. not only that, but he'll frequently voice these concerns if something prompts him to do so. that being said, he is self aware of this and how problematic it can be, so when he knows it's really not needed, he'll keep his mouth shut. and besides, he isn't totally pessimistic; after all, if he didn't think anything had the possibility of going well, then he wouldn't have bothered pushing himself to try and attend taiyou.

... but, that doesn't mean it wasn't still a major thing for him. since he was young, he's had issues with anxiety that have frequently put him in unfavorable positions. while he won't downright refuse to do them, he'll often approach new or dangerous things with apprehension and stiffness (however, it's worth noting that there are several things that he's actually quite confident about. almost to the extent where it'll come across as arrogance). this also extends to his social ability - he strongly prefers avoiding it, as his mind may freeze up and cause him to say something awkward, unpleasant, or sometimes even harsh. this usually results in him coming across as someone who doesn't like anyone or anything not even himself. in actuality, this simply isn't true, but it is what it is. all things aside, if conversation finds him, he won't try and escape from it or anything. he'll just suck at it (90% of the time).

something else worthy of note is his conflicting stance on aspiration. on one end, he acts as if he has no drive, frequently having thoughts of giving up and deciding something isn't worth following through on. on the other hand, he's more likely to (begrudgingly) continue onward despite what he thinks, rather than actually giving up. his ambitions aren't clear and he doesn't know if he even has any, but he does know that there's "something" there and he kind of wants to figure out what it is.

BIOGRAPHY
one can't really say naho led the most tragic life up to this point, since nothing too significant happened - his parents were kind and doting, sporting a healthy relationship with each other, naho, and their environment. their circumstances were honestly fairly normal, too: they weren't too far on either end of the socioeconomic scale; they lived in a nice little house and got along well with their neighbors; no one died or got injured in some kind of freak accident; everything was just... nice. even considering one of the few abnormalities that were present, i.e naho and his parents all having quirks (second and first generation respectively). and like many kids his age, he was a huge fan of heroes, and wished to become one in the future (and hurray! he has a quirk, so it works out!).

so the issue regarding how naho grew up to be how he is isn't immediately clear. well, it primarily stems from the fact his problems with his anxiety have been with him for as long as he could remember, albeit it didn't start out nearly as bad. basically, it was severe enough to get in the way of him making friends in elementary school, resulting in him fading into the background and watching everything from there alone. it probably didn't help that his presence wasn't very strong either - after all, he did try putting himself out there for awhile, but to no avail. he slowly began to realize that even among those he considered friends, he was "unimportant". thus, he eventually stopped trying, and the years went on while his world got progressively more monochromatic.

it wasn't until one day in sixth grade, the last year of elementary school, that naho caught a bad case of the flu and couldn't attend school for two weeks. while at home and bed-ridden, he had a lot of time to think to himself, and in doing so, by the time he got better and was on his way to school again, his worries about returning had heightened ten-fold. in what seemed like a moment of pure impulsivity, he stopped his bike, turned around, and went back home, telling his parents that he started feeling sick again so he could stay home. somehow, the days of pretending to be sick evolved into him becoming a shut-in, and while they were extremely concerned, his parents allowed him to be homeschooled for the entirety of junior high.

with high school nearing, his parents were finally able to convince him to try attending again. naho wasn't thrilled with the idea, but he reluctantly agreed out of a want to be less of a burden. much to their surprise, he opted to try for taiyou, since he remembered that he once wanted to become a hero all those years ago.

QUIRK surge
TYPE emitter

BASIC the user can travel through electrical currents to hijack devices.

IN-DEPTH the user can travel through already-existing electrical currents and circuits, to essentially hijack whatever device they lead/belong to. this can happen up to speeds of lightning and it’s possible to simply use it as quick transportation as well, without the intent of hijacking anything.

by ‘hijacking’, there are two extents that they could go to:
ー direct control, which requires them to be physically “in” the device in question (meaning they can only direct control one device at a time). this gives them many more options when controlling things, an example being editing files on a computer.
ー indirect control, which requires them to have contact with the circuits in question, whether that be by touching the devices or the wires connected to the device. this way, they can “control” more, but they will be far more limited on what they can do, only being able to do simple things like turning them on and off.

lastly, as an additional aspect of their quirk, the user's body conducts electricity much like how silver would, and they have a higher resistance towards it (although it isn't total immunity).
(a little fun note about his quirk is that when he directly hijacks something with a screen, he'll show up on it and can sorta float around. he can also see outside of the screen, and depending on if it has a speaker, he can be heard as well.)

LIMITATIONS the quirk is rendered ineffective in areas they can’t access an electrical current--so if there is no electricity, they will not be able to use their quirk at all.

when travelling through currents, they aren't actually able to see where they're going, meaning there will be many times where they'll end up lost or in an area they didn’t intend to go to.

when indirectly controlling multiple devices (either for too long or controlling too many) they start to get a migraine and will likely pass out because of it.

PERSONALITY
Kishiko can be best described as a ball of energy with a desire to reach exhaustion by smashing stuff. She's never truly herself until you place her in a fighting/training situation where she's allowed to go all out, in other words, she lives for the thrill of combat. All her life she has followed a modus operandi of "striking first, asking questions later" thus making her the worst choice for leading a diplomacy mission. Kishiko is known to become somber and quiet should enough days pass without her doing some sort of physical activity, almost like a shark she needs to stay moving 24/7.

During social situations Kishiko shows off a rambunctious demeanor which causes her to speak the first thing that comes to her mind without taking into consideration the consequences of her words. She's extremely competitive towards even the most mundane activities which results in a certain naivety (Ex: You can get her to do your chores as long as you label them as a competition). Once Kishiko has deemed someone to be a close friend she tends to get more physical with her interaction, and by that I mean actions like: Pushing, shaking, shoulder punches, etc.

Her nature as a Hero in training comes into full display once she's assigned a mission/ordered to do something. An inextinguishable flame of pure determination dances within her heart and she'll carry out all that she's asked to do, even if it costs her life. Because of this Kishiko lacks any sort of leadership skills and operates better as a pawn for someone else to move around. This “ professionalism” has forever tainted Kishiko and thus she tends to leave people behind if that means getting the mission done faster.

"Eeeh? My biography? Hah, smart move, you're talking to a future legend after all, best to get the scoop while I still have time! Hmmm, lets start from the beginning: Both of my parents are quirk users, my dad has enhanced strength while my mom can breath underwater. I doubt you've ever heard of them though, they chose to remain far away from the life of a hero, their loss I guess. I really can't imagine why they'd choose to shelter such amazing powers, it took me a long while to even realize they had'em 'cause they only used them for mundane activities. Oooh but don't you worry, unlike like them I am not so dull when it comes down to using my powers~."

"How about I tell you about the first time I discovered my quirk? I must've been like...7 years old at that point and my parents took me on a vacation trip to the beach located near the town of iforgotthename. It was fine and all, they served some good-ass ice cream in one of the stalls, but because my parents are so boring they forced me to stay near the shore at all times. But like, where's the fun in that? And so the moment their attention was somewhere else I took my chance and dove deeper into the waters. A pretty smooth start, some smaller waves here and there but nothing I couldn't manage. Couple of minutes later I hear my parents calling for me, I turn around for a sec to look at 'em and then BAM, a massive wave comes crashing on top of me and sinking me deep into the water. 'Course I start to panic almost immediately, until I realize something's off: I am breathing perfectly fine. Panic soon turns to excitement, it felt like a whole new world of possibilities had opened up to me. I end up swimming deeper and deeper, completely forgetting about the outside world. The sight of fishes and corals so close to me will never leave my mind, I can't even begin to describe their beauty. The only reason why I ended up coming out was 'cause I was hungry, I had never expected so many hours to have passed. You should've seen the looks on my parents' faces, it was PRICELESS. I did end up feeling sorry after finding out my mom had spent so much time looking for me underwater, but hey maybe she would've actually found me if she had tried training her quirk a lil bit. Whatever, after that day there was no going back to my old life, and that's when my road to becoming a hero began."

Physical augmentation through the consumption of water. Includes the ability to breath underwater.

IN-DEPTH
Nautilus presents itself as a very straightforward quirk: Through the consumption of water (Whether it'd be by drinking it or absorbing it through the skin) the user is able to experience a drastic increase to the strength and durability of their bodies, in Kishiko's case it allows her to currently wield a 2 ton anchor as her weapon of choice. As long as the user remains well hydrated throughout the day this quirk has the capacity to stay active for however long they please, this however is only capable of happening during uneventful days. As the user exercises their body they'll eventually begin to (of course) sweat, causing a rapid decrease in the body's hydration and, as a result, greatly reducing the power they wield, even reaching a point where they can barely even move. While this can easily be remedied under controlled environments where water sources are easy to access it all goes down hill when involved in actual battles. This is a rapid decrease we are talking about, 15 minutes is all it currently takes to depower Kishiko to a point where she can barely swing her anchor. As such Nautilus forces a fighting style that relays in strong openers that aim to defeat an opponent as fast as possible, specially if there aren't any water sources nearby (Like a fire hydrant).

Up until now though this explanation revolved around terrestrial fights, so lets move to Nautilus field of expertise: Nautical fights. Being able to be constantly hydrated by any large body of water means that the user is capable of constantly fighting at peak strength, only limiting themselves by the frailty of their body. This is further boosted by the capability to breath underwater, perfect for easily shattering the boats on which some opponents may stand. Even in these scenarios though the user is still very much susceptible to exhaustion and so it's best not to extend a fight for longer than it's necessary.


LIMITATIONS
-Heated environments spell doom for Nautilus' user as the risk of sweating is much higher. Should Kishiko be fighting under these circumstances her empowered state will only last for five minutes before she's unable to continue.
-Even in nautical fights Nautilus isn't invincible, the use of electric attacks will be further enhanced due to the user being covered in water.
-This quirk has no effect over the user's speed, their mobility will be limited to hops used with the strength of their legs.
-Other than using nearby objects as projectiles Nautilus offers no reliable ranged attacks and thus only relays on CQC scenarios.

-Kishiko carries around a hishaku to ease the consumption of water during combat.

PERSONALITY
She is not very sociable and prefers not to have the spotlight on her, but can open up to her closest friends, and will do everything to protect them. When it comes to the stuff she likes, she can ramble for hours and hours on end on the topic. In battle, she doesn't like using force, but when seriously provoked, she will go serious and all out, the training with dad Itsuki really showing she gets mad...or tries to impress people. She doesn't take flirting well, and sucks at flirting with others. While she mainly fights hand to hand, She carries around a bo staff as a last resort.

She has several hobbies, from collecting manga, model cars and swords, all from her interests. She loves swords and any type of melee weaponry, but not enough to use them in battle. She likes fixing up her car, a keepsake of her mother who passed away a year ago when the story starts. Her dad shares the same interests as she does and will sometimes join in on what she does. She likes to draw people and other classmates, but dislikes showing them to others, so she keeps them to herself. She loathes Dresses, skirts and bikinis, so expect her to try to wear the typical male counterpart. She barely does make up, taking her about 2 minutes to wrap up and 3 to change. She's also a casual gamer, playing the games she takes interest in for hours. She attempts to keep her sexuality secret, but fails miserably as it's pretty obvious when she talks to girls.

BIOGRAPHY
At first, she had no idea she was a superhuman, but she idolized comic and manga heroes, striving to become one once she discovered her quirk. At the age of 5, she was put of for adoption from New Zealand for unknown reasons, her quirk already developed. Taken in by a loving couple who not only took interest in her looks but appearance too, she moved to Japan, more specifically to Osaka, where she met her best friend, Suou, the Japanese American girl, a late bloomer. As the years went by, she had formed an unbreakable bond with her, and she gave Alexis the nickname "Lena", modeled by her middle name and taught her to speak Japanese.

Everything seemed fine until Suou was kidnapped one day returning from school by a few perverts. When she returned a day later, she told Alexis that she had been sexually assaulted. Upon hearing this news, Alexis raged and her power awoke as a result. First thought to be a simple speedster quirk, she unlocked the strength part of Daybreak. She tracked down the culprits and taught them a lesson to not mess with her, Suou or other girls ever again. Coming back home after her business, she vowed to 'never let this happen to her or others again, Whatever it takes.' With this new revelation, she used her quirk to attempt to become a hero and with the help of Ex Pro Hero Itsuki, her dad to brush up her fighting skills and smarts, she got recommended.

IN-DEPTH
'Daybreak' is a normal fire manipulation that takes fire stored from the inside of the user ad a weapon. One's Rage and willpower enhances the technique. The command word 'Accelerate' causes the user to concentrate its energy to drastically speed up their running speed to about Mach 2 and leg power (defense.) The command word 'Ignite' ignites the user in flames and concentrates its energy into a sword, Significantly increasing brute strength and hand movement speed. The flames produced by Daybreak only burn if the user wants it to and will not burn down stuff as long as Alexis remains conscious or has willpower, tho it's effectiveness gets better with training (right now it doesn't really work). There is a 10 second cool down before Alexis can change between 'Accelerate' and 'Ignite'. Once all the rage and willpower runs out the user loses the will to be angry and Daybreak's flames will no longer single out enemy to friendly. Daybreak's willpower must be recovered by sleeping.

LIMITATIONS
The quirk only lasts 3-4 minutes...a day and does not recharge over time, unless resting. It must be recharged by sleeping. Speed decreases her power output and power decreases her movement speed to normal human pace.

PERSONALITY: Tsukino is a rebellious, often angry, angsty trouble child, as fits her teen delinquent status. She's a pessimist, believing and expecting the worst of the world. Her severe trust issues have led to problems with authority and antisocial behavior. Having been informed that she needs to work on this to fit the hero program, she is trying, but it's not easy for her. She hasn't exactly had the best coping mechanisms, or the best examples of them. She tends to bury her pain, especially now that she can't have extreme rebelliousness as an outlet. The truth is, while she plays it cool, she's secretly terrified. She's absolutely terrified —of herself, of letting the monster take control, of what the monster might do when it has power. She's terrified of becoming a villain, and, as she has unstable morals, she's vulnerable to it.

While Tsukino is antisocial, it doesn't stem from a superiority complex or an honest disinterest in humanity, but her trust issues (and natural and resulting awkwardness). People are suspicious. Nice people are seriously suspicious. She doesn't know how to handle genuine trust and kindness, partly because she doesn't believe in it, and partly because she doesn't believe she deserves it, anyway, because she sees herself as a monster. At first, she'll be wary of others and consider them acquaintances even if they consider her a friend, but once she does reciprocate the friendship she's incredibly loyal and protective of them. Even when she distrusts the members, if she's part of a group she will be loyal and protective of them as well, and may lash out impulsively at anyone trash talking or threatening them.

BIOGRAPHY: Tsukino was a first generation quirk, and treated as an outlier in her family from the start. It didn't help that her quirk was such a frightening and demonic-looking one, which made those around her wary and scared. In a way this worked partly in her favor as it helped to ward off most bullying unless from large groups reinforced by the idea of safety in numbers, but she didn't miss the snide remarks and ostracism for being the "weird kid", both within her family and without. She soon began finding alternative routes for acceptance, and fell in with a group of young misfits and delinquents like herself. She has since frequently run away from home, and been picked up several times both for that and charges like shoplifting, vandalism of public property, destruction of public property, and trespassing.

At last it came to the point that the court gave her a choice: go to a correctional center, or straighten herself out and become a hero. Her strong power and protective nature over her group gave her potential to be an impactful hero, but also to be a threat, and steps needed to be taken to avoid that. Unlike the rest of her group, Tsukino reluctantly chose to be a hero, which branded her a traitor and a coward in her friends' eyes. But the fear she did it out of wasn't of a correctional facility, but rather of herself: she believed she would become a villain, and she didn't want that. So she was admitted to Taiyou, though not without strict warnings that delinquent behavior would not be tolerated and she needed to work seriously hard to straighten herself up.

QUIRK: Smoke Creature

TYPE: Transformation

BASIC: User transforms into a monster of black smoke, which can harden into a form similar to brittle rock, billow into an enlarged form, and wreak havoc

IN DEPTH: Tsukino is able to morph into a black cloud of smoke similar to volcanic ash, but less hot. As of now, it's about one and a half times her size, though it may be able to enlarge with practice. It does grow bigger when it becomes extremely out of control, but it is also extremely unstable at this point and collapses almost immediately afterwards. This creature doesn't have Tsukino's conscious mind in it, but is a creature of brute force, rage, and animal reactions first and foremost. It has a vaguely humanoid shape, with a head with hollow black eye sockets and a black mouth, arms, and hands, but a tail like a ghost's, or simply an amorphous shape. It can turn select parts of its body solid like black, brittle rock, and use that to attack. Only a wisp of the creature (it might be detached into only a tiny remnant of smoke) is needed to morph back into Tsukino.

LIMITATIONS: Tsukino doesn't consciously control the creature, nor does she remember what happens when it takes over. She can only use it for twenty minutes max, and it takes a terrible toll on her body. Not only is it very draining, leaving her weak and shaking for long after, but it also causes minor lung damage like smoke inhalation from which she must recover, making her at least hoarse and hard of breath. At worst, she might even have burns over her body, and serious lung damage, though it's only come to that when she was younger. She currently passes out after extended use (ten to fifteen+ minutes). Solid splashes of water, like waves or dumped buckets of water, disintegrate what parts of the creature they hit, and strong winds might blow it away. The solidified parts of its body may be broken off from the whole, at which point they will be unable to reattach, so theoretically it can gradually be beaten until it has too little mass to cause much destruction, but Tsukino's endurance doesn't last long so this is unlikely to happen. Until the time that she can connect with the creature mentally, if possible, it is a being of brute force and rage, with animalistic instincts and low intelligence.

EXTRA:
-Really enjoys cooking, though she doesn't do it often. She's a good cook, though, and may start doing it more often now that she has a steadier supply of materials (especially if other(s) prompt her to).
-She's very likely to make more food for someone else if asked while making food for herself. Though she may give token protests or grumbling, she doesn't really mind. Genuine enjoyment of her food is a way into her heart.
-Secretly a big music fan (of many genres), and likes to dance in even more secret to it when cooking.
-Definitely a fan of edgy music.
-Also enjoys sketching, but not coloring.

Chika is demure, sweet, and lovely, like an innocent lamb. At least, that's what she likes to make herself out to be. Sporting a charming smile and capable of executing the perfectly angled head tilt, Chika’s every move is orchestrated to look no less than endearing. As a person with a keen sense of the wants and needs of others, she is adept at picking up on the various troubles plaguing their minds or keeping a conversation going. Coupled with her eye-catching appearance and mannerisms, her level-headed nature and excellent sense of humor make her a rather well-liked individual.

However, behind her well-crafted mask lies a desperate need to seek validation through attention from others, whether it be love, hatred, or even fear. To her, screams of agony sing into her ears just as sweetly as joyful laughter. In fact, a troubled upbringing has caused her to have long lost faith in the concept of love and humanity as a whole. That is, as much as she seeks to gain the favor of others, the level of trust she gives them amounts to zero. And with her belief that she'll be betrayed at the drop of a hat, Chika herself has no qualms over backstabbing them first in order avoid ending up as the one being hurt.

Ultimately, she is a cynic and an insecure child incapable of loving herself or others. Thus, when faced with the happiness of others, she is quick to grow jealous, while the enthusiastic approaches of the truly purehearted often leave her initially suspicious and later at a complete loss.

When she was born, her parents lamented the fact that she wasn’t a boy. When she was slow to learn to speak, her parents shook their heads that she wasn’t as smart as their neighbor’s daughter. And, when she tripped and badly injured herself for the first time, her parents grew frightened and resentful that they had given birth to a monster.

Clutching her eye and left cheek which burned from the gravel that had dug into her skin, she couldn’t help but allow a few tears to escape when the pain suddenly grew more acute. Then, as per usual, she felt her skin slowly grow whole and smooth again under her bloodied fingers, leaving behind a cool sensation on her fair visage. Quietly, she turned back towards her “worried” mother and managed to squeeze out a whisper, “I’m ok.”

However, the horror etched on her mother’s face didn’t recede but intensified. Instead of the praise she expected, the woman stood in her spot, frozen. In her place, her father stepped forward and spat out the two words that would become her new name in that house: “Little Freak.”

She was a jinx, a devil’s spawn, an “it”. No matter how hard she worked in school or how well-behaved she was, her parents would never look her way again. The only reason they bothered to feed her, clothe her, and never hit her was to stave off the suspicious stares of their neighbors. Then, even their hatred disappeared into nothing when her baby brother—the perfect and normal son they had always wanted—was born. She was simply air; she was a waste of space.

From then on, Chika’s life was defined by a series of whys and what ifs. Why couldn’t she have been born as a child without this cursed blood? Why did her younger brother have to snatch away all the simple things she had long coveted? Why was she born to parents who couldn’t love her for who she was? Yet with each question left unanswered, the resentment in her only grew.

For a brief point in time, she had thought she had found a comrade in her cousin, Ryu, who was seemingly the same as her. However, the boy she observed in her eyes couldn’t be further from the filthy little freak she was. He was too quiet for his own good, but he was free. Most importantly, he seemed…

Happy.

Nakagawa Ryunosuke was a boy who was proud of his quirk and his scars. The mere fact baffled her, moreso when she eventually learned that his pride stemmed from the fact that he had managed to save someone with his power. If she did the same with her cursed blood, would she also be able to find happiness?

In the end, a child’s dreams and naivete existed to be brutally crushed. Her efforts to heal her younger brother’s wounds only resulted in her mother screaming to keep herself and her curses away from him. However, for the first time in years, she finally felt a prick in her numb heart. Between hatred and indifference, she slowly grew to realize that she found more comfort in the former. Even if her parents could only spare her their most venomous words, her wish was simple.

Basic: The user can transfer her blood’s regenerative properties to heal others.

In-Depth: Chika’s quirk, Blood Cure, mutates her blood into a special blood type with extremely high regenerative properties. As a result, the petite girl is capable of taking quite the beating yet turning up as good as new the next day. Additionally, ingesting her blood, injecting it, or applying it over an open wound allows her to temporarily pass on her blood’s traits, including her rapid healing ability as well as any resistances or immunities to certain diseases or poisons she might have.

Though Chika prefers to administer treatment directly, she carries around a modified crossbow which can load specialized darts carrying her blood to heal allies from a distance.

Limitations: Chika’s blood is far from a cure-all, as she is not capable of healing what the body cannot naturally heal on its own (e.g. amputated limbs). Furthermore, the more serious the injury, the more blood that is required. It is also notably painful to experience the body patch itself up at an accelerated rate. Though a papercut is nothing, healing a broken bone is often painful enough for her patient to scream in agony though she rather enjoys hearing it.

Incidentally, her quirk causes her to possess a voracious appetite.

As her masculine name Yasuchika is a constant reminder that her parents had wished she were male instead of female, she has a heavy preference towards being called by her nickname, Chika. Those who dare to call her Yasu are just asking to be beat.

Her decision to attend Taiyou is largely due to the fact that Ryu applied to the same school. Between being a hero or a villain, it doesn’t matter as long as she can get her name and face out there. One just happens to be more legal than the other.

She’s fond of dogs for their obedience. She believes that if you train, treat, and love them properly, they’re guaranteed to love you back unlike humans who are likely to betray you at your lowest points.

PERSONALITY
The best way to describe Sophia would be to call her passionate. Whether it's being involved in school projects or endeavors she takes on herself, Sophia expects it of herself to complete them, to perfect them, and to garner some praise for it. A little spoiled when it comes to attention, Sophia laps it up where she can. Both a condition of coming from a successful family and being the only person of said family with a meta ability to her name. This has led Sophia to being slightly self centered, perhaps inflating her ego to certain levels. When it comes to personal relationships, Sophia's most comfortable when keeping people at an arm's length. Getting too close to people causes her to grow concerned and anxious, this is exacerbated at the idea of dating or entering any form of long term relationship. She has a goal and she likes pursuing it with as little distractions as possible, that's Sophia's mantra at least.

Sophia tries to accumulate as much knowledge on something before going into it—such as moving to Japan from her home nation of Austria. She is naturally cautious in that regard and would find it humiliating to make silly mistakes when moving, such as getting the language wrong or missing cultural cues frequently. Her image is very much a part of her identity, the prodigious daughter of a famous businessman. Sophia considers asking for help or relying on others to be a weakness, with the exception coming from professionals such as heroes (and even then, only those she respects).

BIOGRAPHY
Von und zu Hohensalzburg.

A name that may not resonate at all with the Japanese public, but one that has been a gradual and strong influence in the Austrian Heroes scene. It denotes nobility — nothing more than the fanciful indulgences of the House Patriarch — and represents the modern day shopping and accessories that a Post—Quirk landscape direly needs. The House Patriarch and Sophia's father, Karl Von und zu Hohensalzburg, had wasted little time with the advent of quirks and restructured his humble business into what is today a corporate entity creating necessities from clothing to custom jewelry for the dismal yet growing quirk population of the world. In certain cases, the Hohensalzburg Industry has supplied heroes all over Europe with their equipment to keep the general population safe.

Von und zu Hohensalzburg. To some, it represents a welcoming world for the "gifted" with meta abilities or quirks. To others? It reveals the greed of man and the self styled 'lord' who reigns over this European business, cornering the market on this key demographic.

To Sophia, it's just as complex, if not more so. Her father, her uncles, mother and older brother were born normal. They had no meta abilities, they weren't required to register them with a government official and be scrutinized like some feral dog. They were never treated as special, different, even with the wealthy and noble name they were all born with. Sophia felt like an outcast in her own house hold once her quirk awakened at the age of 4. She was floating, as were her toys, to the horror of her mother. A woman who couldn't quite accept the notion of different people being born and mingling with the rest of humanity. (Though she was happy to accept their money.) Karl Von und zu Hohensalzburg saw his daughter as an opportunity, not only to personally test new concepts on his "special" daughter, but to display her. A fancy pet to entertain others.

Growing up in an medieval estate, Sophia's control over her Thought Lock quirk was... Difficult to discern. Some days she could force her toys to come to her without an issue, others she accidentally spilled decanters at dinner or otherwise tripped a man over with her sloppy efforts. To better control this wandering mind, Sophia was given a tutor, teaching her piano. And when her mind grew accustom to that and similar problems arose, a new tutor for the violin, and the harp. Soon enough she had an impressive array of instruments learned to an acceptable extent, a one girl band. Between this and what Sophia suspected was natural maturity, losing control of her powers was a less frequent occurrence.

School life was difficult, if only because Sophia was the only child with a meta ability in the entire institution. It was still rare enough in her father's social class for quirked children to pop up. More often than not, her classmates were weary around her. Teachers more eager to penalize Sophia than regular students. It wasn't very long until she was home schooled.

It was Karl Von und zu Hohensalzburg's idea to send Sophia away. She was content in Austria, making friends with a few of the maids or butlers scoured across the medieval estate. Karl deemed it imperative that his daughter learn to better utilize her meta ability—find a proper function for it or career path. He hadn't said heroes exactly, but there was an understanding that a hero academy would squeeze Sophia for what she was worth, leaving no stone unturned when her quirk was considered. She'd graduate a master. Then, she'd see if her father deemed it likewise necessary to become an actual hero in Japan or Austria. Sophia's suspicions were that she would return home, donning the corporate colors of her family and being half advertisement and half heroine.

QUIRK Thought Lock
TYPE Emitter

BASIC Sophia Von und zu Hohensalzburg's quirk is a standard telekinesis type, allowing Sophia to manipulate multiple objects in an environment with her mind.

IN-DEPTH Being able to manipulate objects around her is a useful quirk on many levels, allowing Sophia to micro manage and never need an extra hand carrying groceries or shopping bags. But that isn't to suggest her quirk is simple and without required effort to make it work. Thought Lock can be activated subconsciously, as in if Sophia is not focused well enough and lets her mind wander, she could begin to impact the environment around her. Normally benign, turning the lights on or off, tossing homework or dolls around and creating a mess is not Sophia's ideal usage of her quirk. Likewise, her quirk can be focused on a number of gracile tasks, specifically playing multiple instruments at the same time — a favorite way for Sophia to exercise her quirk. Lifting objects up to a certain weight, including people, is not an issue for Thought Lock either. Although Sophia typically only uses this on herself to give her a form of levitation.

LIMITATIONS
  • There is a weight cap to what Sophia can lift, that being 600 lbs or 272 kg.
  • While being able to micromanage her quirk, Sophia is still perfecting this on a wide scale. Usage of her quirk on more than ten objects causes her accuracy to decline. Over twenty and it's a sloppy telekinetic storm.
  • There is an effective range on Sophia's quirk, being just around 10 meters. Beyond this, Sophia's ability to manipulate objects or people diminishes in accuracy and power.
  • While every day use of Thought Lock doesn't cause much strain, focused activities or attempting to use it at its greatest extents will cause stress to build on Sophia.

PERSONALITY

The Path – Jin is a man of strict structure when it comes to the ranking of people and where they fit in life and society. Those who clearly are above, they are to be respected, peers are to be worked with, subordinates are to listen and follow directives. However, he does not silence those he finds as peers or subordinates, willing to hear their ideas and make a plan based on what they propose, but those with a station above are the law in his eyes. At school these are the teachers, at home it is his father, and in the world it is the authorities and politicians; the ones that make the rules. Only one exception to this is his father, as he believes a son should always surpass his father and was taught this way as well, striving to be more than his father. It is a hard path.

Heavy-Handed – The other side to him is that he is very heavy-handed when it comes to evil and villainy, always opting to eliminate the threat rather than incarcerate, which he believes is a systemic problem to begin with. Those that oppose him find that he is both cold and ruthless, as much so as the villains themselves, and is more than willing to get their blood on his hands. Even with his friends, he can be found to be heavy-handed and strict, stubborn as well in his convictions, although they do seem to have a bit more leeway with swaying him than anyone else would.

Leader – Jin is not suited well to being a follower, often times attempting to either lead or take control from those put in charge. There are none more suited to understanding the gravity of a situation than himself, or so he believes, and is always prepared to bear that weight when allowed. However, his leadership style is tyrannical, brokering no nonsense or insubordination, which is not conducive to the personalities of other heroes in general, save for a few anomalies here and there. His other leadership quality is efficiency, regardless of the damages, so long as lives are saved, and the villains terminated.

The Look – Drilled into him a million times over by his father, Jin has to look good when he is out and about, even when lounging at home or in the school, because ‘perception is reality’. Good looks attribute to your overall intimidation factor and he puts that into every aspect of his actions, from the way he talks, walks, dresses and even eats. Don’t think him OCD or anything however, he has no problem getting dirty if it calls for that, he would just prefer that his clothing be kept grime free if possible.

Humor – While Jin can be rather strict on himself and on others, he is not someone that neglects joy or fun in life, even though it does not seem he has a lot of it at first appearance. Jokes, particularly those labeled as 'Dad jokes' can almost always get a laugh out of him, as well as a well planned prank; not something juvenile like a bucket of water or anything like that. Additionally, he is a fan of stand-up comedy, typically the darker in nature kind (think Bill Burr or Daniel Tosh), and also enjoys playing RPG type video games.


BIOGRAPHY

Sung Jin-woo comes from a militant family from South Korea, his father having been in the Special ROK forces, where he received deadly training and put his quirk Density to great use. His mother was a medical specialist in the ROK as well, where she had met his father after a near fatal wound, where she would use her quirk Lift to aid the patients there. They had Jin, a boy who had the mix of their quirks and quickly left South Korea before they could take him from them, as his quirk would make him very powerful one day. The couple made their way to Japan with their boy, starting a new life for him, and beginning his training.

Jin was forced by his father to learn various forms of self-defense, from a blade, to a gun, and even the use of his bare hands. Special emphasis was placed on his martial arts, which would allow him to a wider use of his quirk, which was applied the same way his mother and father would apply their own quirks, through touch. Over the years he studied in the ancient and new age martial arts, honing his skills as he grew, but his own studies were never neglected. They treated him like a prodigy, though he did not think of himself as such a thing, yet others began to hate him simply because of who his family was. Sung Family were the proprietary owners of their own mercenary company, a type of heroes for hire, except they did any job, not just the heroic ones.

In an attempt to break away from such a legacy, Jin joined the UA to show the world that the Sung family was not just full of villains, and to show his father that you did not have to stoop to be wealthy and safe. Billions do not make up for heinous acts.


QUIRK Gravity

TYPE emitter

BASIC Jin can control the gravitational anchor of a person or object within 2 meters of himself.


IN-DEPTH Gravity has the ability to increase or decrease the weight of any object or person, to include himself, within range to an extent. Any within 50 meters of Jin can be made to feel slightly heavier or lighter, which lasts for a maximum of one minute once they leave the area. Within 25 meter he can make people or objects moderately heavier or lighter, making it possible to lift a car, or turn a boulder into a meteor per say. Anything he touches he gains the strongest control over, able to increase or decrease weight dramatically, with a maximum decrease of being able to make a three-story building float or make a tank collapse in on itself from the weight of the gravity. Theoretically.


LIMITATIONS Objects and people that he affect are only affected for a limited time at each stage of distance, the further you are, the longer it lasts, but the closer you are, the shorter it lasts. At the furthest distance the weight impact lasts for one minute. At middle range it lasts for merely ten seconds. When touched, the weight impacts last for a mere second. Additionally, use of this ability takes a heavy toll on his stamina, leaving him with limited uses before he needs a break.

    Yudai's hero outfit has a very rough look to it, the clothes being ripped by himself. The chain is mainly used for close quarters combat and for subduing enemies in combat. His gloves have metal knuckles so his fists do more damage against opponents.

    Personality:
    When first meeting Yudai, one might think that he'd be a bully or some tough character and you'd be correct. He's not the most friendliest person, his attitude is quite harsh and his straightforwardness does not give people a better perception of him. He's not arrogant about his abilities and will never hype them up to be something they are not. He has a large dislike for weak minded or willed people as they just seem like a waste of space to him. He's very competitive minded, never giving up till that final whistle blows.

    Yudai can often be observed picking on those he dislikes, whether he'd be saying something detrimental to their character or looks. It's hard to earn a spot as one of Yudai's friends but it is entirely possible, being stronger than him helps. When in tough situations, Yudai's aggressiveness shows, always wanting to meet issues head on. When it comes to emotions like being sad or depressed, Yudai always tries to push his emotions away and focus on his training. This makes his tolerance for irritable people and situations quite low and an outburst is always over the horizon with him. He never backs down from a fight and would rather be beaten into a bloody pulp before admitting he's weak.


    Biography:
    His life is far from normal. Yudai's birth was unplanned but after learning it was a boy, Yudai's father accepted him and started becoming rather excited at the arrival of a baby boy. Yudai's father was a nationally recognized martial artist and having a son to pass on your nationally and internationally known skills was exciting. Yudai was born in August, the day being an important day in his father's life. In the next few years as Yudai was starting to speak, his father was hyping him up to be some prodigy who's going to become the greatest martial artist on the planet and become a great hero. Yudai's father owned a dojo and helped others hone their martial arts abilities. He had high hopes of one day passing it down to his son.

    Yudai discovered his quirk through training Jujitsu with his father. His quirk allowed him to actually knock his father over in a fight, something many couldn't do. Yudai's father ramped up his training as a result of this and rarely held his abilities back. This taught Yudai two things, how to take a beating and how to fight an opponent stronger than you. Yudai competed in Jujitsu tournaments at the age of nine and continued his training into his preteens. In the tournaments Yudai was involved in, quirks weren't allowed to be used and he viewed it as holding himself back. He also began learning Judo at this time, to expand his abilities at martial arts.

    At the age of 14, Yudai discovered something his father forbid him to participate in, underground martial arts tournaments where quirk use was allowed. These tournaments were exceptionally violent and often resulted in horrible injuries. This never deterred him and he ended up participating and fighting opponents 3 or 4 years older than him. Yudai took a few good beatings and would often be fearful of going home because of what shape he was in. His lies were often shallow and his father was immediately suspicious of what he was doing but said nothing so Yudai would assume that he wouldn't have caught on.

    During Yudai's final years of middle school, he was continuing to participate in the underground tournaments and in this certain one, he was able to climb to the top and claim victory. As Yudai was holding his hand up victoriously, he spotted a face in the crowd that made his stomach churn. He saw his father among the crowd and he knew that his life was about to take a turn for the worse. His father confronted him at home and his face had disappointment all over it. The guilt for Yudai was unbearable and he tried to plead his case. His father wanted to hear none of it and threw his own son out of his own dojo.

    Yudai was heartbroken but understood that his father did what he had to do. During his final months in school, he could often be seen training and working out alone, trying to improve his abilities alone. Being kicked out of the dojo was still tough for him but he never gave up his dream for being a world renown martial artist. During this time, he looked around for other options and came upon the hero school of Taiyou. He got his fathers permission to apply for it, his hope was that it would straighten him out. Yudai now set his sights on becoming a hero, hopefully redeeming himself in his fathers eyes.

PERSONALITY

A whole dork. But also, a very confused one. Geni, struggles with his identity and how he sees himself. He often just ends up mimicking what other people like or dislike and thus has trouble separating what he genuinely has an opinion on, vs what other people have an opinion on that he adopted.If they likes a person enough (read: if they're comfortable enough with a person to talk more than just surface small talk) They might begin taking in their ideals and beliefs subconsciously. That's not to say that they can't form opinions and beliefs on their own. Just that they struggle to do so. Geni will also occasionally struggle getting what she means across and may at times get a frustrated and devolve into irritated chewing on their necklace or wild hand gestures. She sounds Kind of like chicken little explaining the acorn and the sky falling sometimes. Likes to bake and bake and BAKE. Anything to do with baking, especially the eating part, has him hooked! Will attempt to bake their feelings and also express their feelings through baking. Friend is feeling sad? Bake them some casserole and Seed cake! Celebration? cake, cookies and brownies galore! She has trouble dealing with alot of stimuli and might need a some time to process everything, which occasionally makes it seem as if he doesn't care or is ignoring them, when he really just doesn't know how to deal with that situation at the time.

Very curious and very stubborn; Will be told not to poke the bear and most likely will poke the bear if not given a proper explanation of why not to. They do have trouble reading social situations and getting a feel for the mood, so don't be surprised if suggestive and or implied behavior/situations go completely over her head. Gets easily excited and easily pleased and not easily angered. Although when they are angered, expect them to hold a grudge and remember it for the next 6 years. Geni cannot flirt and should never be allowed to flirt.His idea of flirting consists of pick up lines they picked up off the internet and social media. Although Angeni struggles with their since of self, they do know that they would die for anyone who is a true friend or anyone they love. Shes also not ashamed of picking favorites.
BIOGRAPHY

Angeni was born in a Native tribe in Portland to a family of 6 who were never seen or heard from again after his birth. For a while Angeni was passed around from family to family on the reserve until the missing persons count finally warded off anyone willing to take in the orphaned child. Angeni was believed to be quirkless for the better part of her childhood until around 11 years of age when she encountered her first physical bullies. At the time Angeni was living in a solitary one room house at the furthest corner on the reserve. He would get check ins every couple of days as well as food and supplies dropped off but no real companionship. And therefore no one he could really tell and talk to; especially about the bullies. Things came to head when, at 11 years old in elementary, Angeni experience getting jumped for the first time. Unfortunately it was in the bathroom and away from the safety of teachers stern eyes that they decided to corner them. For a variety of reasons; mostly petty superficial ones, such as their large eyes and paler red/brown skin tone in comparison to them. Unfortunately they chose the bathroom to ambush them. and unfortunately there are mirrors in the bathroom.

"It was an accident."

Angeni would later plead. voice quiet and red eyes still wide with disbelief and shock. He hadn't meant to push them through. It was an accident.

He hadn't meant to let go of them. It was accident...Yes she knew that she could toss things into mirrors but...she had never tossed people, she swears! It was an ACCIDENT!

No.They didn't know how to bring them back out. it was an accident.

Angeni was later sent to the school in the hopes they could monitor and hopefully find a way to bring people tossed into what they called "the mirror dimension" or the "Mirror Pocket" back.

Mirror Skip is more like dimensional travel and each Mirror or reflection is different one. Angeni can move in and out of these dimensions at will. They can also put things into these reflections. Unfortunately, without a some form of direct DNA from Angeni, there isn't a way for whatever is pushed through, to come back out. Each mirror dimension is a reflection of that exact moment in time that the item (or Angeni) was placed into it. The only difference being that everything is colorless.
1. Reflections are different than mirrors and tricky. Diving into a reflection instead of a mirror, is like going into a raging hurricane vs a calm still pond. One is safe the other, not so much.
2 The longer you stay there the more you lose your color and your sense of self and coherent thought/sanity.There’s no sense of time in mirror pockets.


LIMITATIONS
Mirror skip is more of a pocket dimension more than teleportation as the user can only go into a single Mirror pocket at one time. for example, if they go into one mirror in the bathroom, they can't reappear out of another mirror in the bedroom. they would need to come back from the same mirror they came out of. They also cant push or go into reflections/mirrors that are not large enough to encompass their whole size. I.e they cannot push themselves or a truck into a hand held compact mirror.
Remaining in there for extended periods of time has taxing effects on your mental health and strength. Which is Limitation for Mirror skip. Geni can’t remain in pocket dimensions for extended periods of time without losing his sense of self and who he is as a person. It Makes them emotionally numb and despondent. “Why did I like lemon cookies?” “Do I even really like lemon cookies?” “What do they even taste like again?” “Does it really matter?” “Does anything matter...” after leaving the mirror pockets after a long period of time, they may be prone to depression and maladaptive behavior.

    Misc: Like both of his parents, Yukiri is primarily humanoid but possesses a few feline features such as a straight, black tail and cat ears instead of human ears. His pupils can expand by a factor of 135 and appear slit-shaped during the daytime. The tapeta lucida behind his retinas cause his eyes to take on an ominous glow when viewed at certain angles in dark lighting.

    His smiles make flowers wilt in fear.

    Hero Outfit: Though fitted in formal attire and a ruffled scarf, much of what he wears is obscured by the old black cloak draped over his body. The length of the cloak keeps his tail unrestricted but well-hidden from view while the hood is modified to conform to the shape of his ears comfortably instead of crushing them against his head. The half-mask he occasionally wears is a keepsake from his father who used to wear it as part of his costume during his active days.

    Put frankly, Yukiri is an oddball whose personality is difficult to decipher at a glance. Conforming to his feline traits, he is seemingly stoic and proud, keeping others at a near perfect distance of exactly two meters when he can help it. Yet, contrary to his bleak aura, he is rather attentive to others and happy to oblige in any number of requests for his company so long as they respect his preferred distance. Though he makes for an awkward conversation partner due to his tendency to say various things without context as well as the physical gap between them, the reason for the distance is due to his worry that his quirk which attracts misfortune might bring harm to his peers.

    True to his word, Yukiri is terribly accident prone. However, in spite of the various troubles he faces on a daily basis, he somehow managed to mature into a person who is capable of seeing the glass as half full. Possessing a will tempered by his misfortune, his astounding resilience causes him to brush off most incidents without the slightest change in expression, and even getting caught up in a burglary garners little more than a bland comment that it could have been worse. Due to the frequency of the unfortunate events that occur around him, he’s also incredibly diligent in whatever he does, relying on skill instead of chance.

    Unfortunately, his blunt words and tendency to drive others away make Yukiri poorly socialized. Though friendly enough once approached, few are patient enough to see past his insistence on staying a set distance away. Even those relatively close to him may find themselves frustrated at his naturally airheaded self who fails to realize how his words come off as offensive. To him, he’s simply keeping his words short and to the point. The strange things he’s seen happen over the years also make him aggravatingly slow to react to just about anything. In short, when dealing with Yukiri, it’s best to toss common sense and social norms into the garbage.

PERSONALITY
At first glance, On Ji appears to be a shy individual who often is off by herself. Though she will often participate in group activities, only it will take a bit of encouraging to get her to talk amongst the group, seeing as she is more of an observer than a participator. So naturally, it's hard to get a few words out of her when you first meet her. However, as you get to know On Ji you begin to learn that truthfully she is a very emotional person which is both a strength and a weakness. First, as a friend of Ji her emotional side often brings her closer to you as she often will become very attached to her friends and will be willing to sacrifice herself for them if necessary. And of course, while it won't take a whole lot to make her cry, you would have to do something absolutely heinous against her for Ji to refuse to forgive you.. or in simpler words Ji believes there's good in everybody and is always willing to forgive those who have done wrong. Moving on to the more negative part of her emotional personality, Ji often has the feeling of guilt cling to her as though everything incorrect or wrong she has done is worthy to be punished for. While On Ji often doesn't like speaking of her parents, or her past, when it is mentioned she often feels a strong sense of guilt towards things similar to it and often regarding things out of her control. Along with that, Kyoke will take things said to her to heart and can mull over a small mean comment someone said to her for days. So while her emotions can be a positive outlook for her, often they are more toxic for her heart. But if we are bringing out popular terms now, On Ji is your typical soft girl hehe.
BIOGRAPHY
From the moment she was born, to when she was five years old, Ji lived with her parents and her older brother Khando in a messy, toxic family dynamic. While her parents did love each other and their kids, their personalities clashed to a point where her parents were constantly fighting over the smallest of disagreements such as the dishes were put in the wrong place, or someone put the toilet paper going upside-down rather then right-side up. Not to mention, Ji's mother came from a wealthy family whereas her father wasn't as fortunate since he had only moved to Japan once he was 20 to look for new opportunities. Due to the imbalance of wealth between the two, Ji's father often resented her mother developing Ji's feelings of guilt towards things out of her control. Then, because of his resentment, after Ji's father and mother got married, her father refused to accept any money from his wife's family forcing the family into poverty early on. But, the poverty did not last very long once On Ji's parents realized how strong their quirks were and began using them to their advantage by robbing different stores and wealthier families and moving all across the country to avoid getting caught. But when An Ji was five, it was her brother's 9th birthday and their parents decided to aim for a bigger robbery then they usually would go for and attempted to rob one of the biggest bank chains around the country. However, a citizen had tipped off heroes to the plan of Ji's parents, sending the heroes to storm the bank faster then they usually would. In an attempt to escape, Ji's father had a blasting quirk, he sent off a huge blast, causing a huge earthquake around the area they were in and forced the ceiling to cave in the building they were in, crushing and killing both of Ji's parents. Once her parents had passed, On Ji and her brother Khando were passed on to their Aunt Himari and were homeschooled up until her brother finished his schooling and Ji reached age 15.

QUIRK Sound Blast

BASIC Takes the sound waves around her, and turns them into huge blasts.

IN-DEPTH All around us, the sounds we make are bounced around in sound waves. On Ji's body is like a sponge for these sound waves, and will absorb them and store them up until they are released in the form of a earthquake-like blast. So in a sense, the louder the noise around On Ji's, the more powerful her blasts can become. The firing points for On Ji's blasts mostly are aimed from the little speaker like tattoos on her hands, however a blast can also be created from On Ji yelling or screaming, however when a blast is screamed it is automatically 10x stronger with the added sound and could possibly destroy the person if they are not strong enough... so it is more of a last resort or super super super strong move. Yes, On Ji could make a sound and use those sound waves for her blast, however specific sound waves from her are typically weaker then those from others since in a way, sound waves from her are like recycled due to her sponge like quirk as compared to other people's sound waves are like brand new.

LIMITATIONS Too many blasts can take a huge toll on Ji's body after after awhile creating blasts will begin to break down her body working her to overexhaustion and death the more she overuses her quirk. A high sign that Ji is reaching exhaustion is she will begin to have a severe bloody nose.

Personality
At first glance Ayano gives off the impression that she's a carefree, cheerful girl with a penchant for light-hearted mischief. She often maintains a playful personality, always maintaining a smile and purposely giving herself some airheaded characteristics for the sake of comedy. Having a knack for social interactions, her upbeat personality allows her to easily engage in conversations while also making sure to cheer up those in need. This is the personality she strives to keep—one that allows her to make at least one person's day brighter. Though because she maintains this front so well, those around her are often unaware whenever she's at one of her worst points.

In truth, Ayano can often be a melancholic person, at least internally. Still struggling and unable to properly cope with events that had occured in her life only a few years prior, her mind sometimes wanders to those moments, giving her a copious amount of strife. Publicly the only indication that she's not well is when she overacts, when she exaggerates her cheerful self to mask her troubles. Truthfully however, maintaining this cheerful persona is the only thing helping her cope with past events, and goofing off with friends only makes things better. Though beyond interacting with those close to her, Ayano's determination also drives her from ruining herself over her own thoughts.

To contrast her carefree front, Ayano is surprisingly determined and motivated to succeed in her goals. Especially due to the events that had occured years prior, she is determined to become something great—to lift both her and her sibling off the ground. Very goal-oriented, one of the few times Ayano may break her character is when something is interfering with her dreams, and in this case it's becoming a successful and wealthy hero.

Biography
As a child Ayano's life seemed to be as idealistic as possible. She lived in a picture perfect home, had two loving parents and a successful sister named Saki a little over half a decade her senior. Everything was perfect, and for the greater part of a decade—as with the rest of her family—Ayano was living her best life. She grew to idolize her parents and her sister. They all were practically saints, upstanding citizens while her father in particular was a successful hero. Ayano grew to aspire to become him, a man with a heart of gold became successful and wealthy from a career of saving those in need. Though unbeknownst to Ayano, her sister, or even her mother, Ayano's father held many demons that were waiting for the perfect opportunity to reveal themselves.

She was eleven at the time, exhausted after another long day of classes. She crossed the same, small two meter-wide stone bridge she had always crossed, yet this time it was different. Her father was there on the other side, cowering in the midst of a couple sharply dressed criminal-types. Quickly hiding herself behind a vending machine, Ayano watched as her father took beating after beating, never once fighting back. Throughout the entire ordeal various name were being thrown at her father—"good for nothing thief" was one she remembered in particular.

With a final sharp kick to the gut the criminals left, leaving her father in a damaged state, yet it seemed that the part of him that was most damaged was his pride. Ayano carefully walked over to him, still shaken from what she had witnessed. "...Dad?" was the only word that escaped her lips, yet she wished she had never made her presence known. Her father quickly jolted at the sound of her daughter's voice, he tried to produce words yet none came out and the two simply looked at each other in silence. Eventually her father picked himself up, badly bruised yet still capable enough to walk on his own. The only thing he told her afterwards was to forget everything she'd seen—yet she never did.

After that the atmosphere in Ayano's once perfect home shifted. A once lively household fell silent. Her father spent most days tucked away in his room, too ashamed to face Ayano in particular. Eventually her family learnt that he was a fraud. While he was once a hero, he was an utterly mediocre and unremarkable one. A hero that could never afford the lifestyle her family lived. Each time her father left for hero work he was never helping those in need, in fact it was quite the opposite. He was a thief, a crook preying on those weaker than him—Ayano's family merely took his supposed heroic exploits at face value, never once checking to see if any of this was true.

Ayano's parents barely talked after his secret had come out. One day Ayano's mother just...left, never to be seen again, never once telling her or Saki she was planning to leave. They were left with a disgrace of a man, someone who was reduced to a mere husk of his former self, yet both Ayano and her sister held no sympathy for him. At this point almost a year had passed and Saki had enough. While she was only nineteen at the time and in no way able to support both herself and Ayano, she still whisked the two of them away to live on their own. For the next couple years they lived in a small, dinky apartment tucked away in the outskirts of Kyoto. Saki was practically working herself to death trying to support the two of them, yet to her it was worth it if it meant living away from their father.

Eventually due to Ayano's previous academic achievements she was able to attend Taiyou with a scholarship. Above all else she was relieved that her sister had one less mouth to feed, and without Ayano, Saki could now live easier. Thus she packed her bags and left for Taiyou, studying her hardest to become the hero she thought her father was.

With "New Best Friend", Ayano is able to create an intangible tether with either a willing living creature or an object with an animal-like form. The resulting subject will have their physical attributes greatly enhanced, with these attributes including strength, speed, and durability. If the subject is not a living creature (e.g. a doll, a deceased entity), "New Best Friend" will animate the subject, giving it temporary sentience and it will furthermore follow Ayano's every command so long as the tether is maintained. The strength of these boons are dependent on Ayano's mental condition and the size of the subject. A subject with receive significantly stronger boons if it is smaller, and if Ayano does not feel any form of mental exhaustion her boons will become significantly more effective.

Ayano typically prefers to carry a plushie or doll with her as a way for her to be more self-reliant, removing the need to find a subject to tether with.

LIMITATIONS
While it's technically possible to tether with multiple subjects simultaneously, the maintenance of multiple tethers is an extremely strenuous task that—at Ayano's current strength—simply cannot be done. Even when maintaining only one tether, it is an extremely mentally demanding task. If the subject sustains any damage, Ayano immediately feels this damage in the form of migraines ranging in severity. Additionally, Ayano herself can never receive the physical boons of "New Best Friend".

PHYSIQUE:
Hitoshi is a bit of an average looking man; his physical features can be considered at best cute. His complexion is quite fair as he takes somewhat care of his skin, by using mostly feminine products. He has straight, unkempt chopped, brown hair that falls a bit past his eyes. If someone where to touch his hair, they would notice his hair quite soft. This is again due to the products he chooses to use. At first glance one would assume Hitoshi is nothing more then a tall scrawny kid. This would be a foolish assumption as he has dedicated much of his time to temper his body to be more define and lean. Performing this type of physical training has allowed him to develop his quirk to the level it is at today and allows him to utilize it without straining out his body.​

HERO OUTFIT:
Hitoshi hero outfit is base on one of his favorite fictional hero’s he has read about, with small modification to fit his hero style built into his costume. The outfit resembles that of a Victorian style mixed with elements of sorcery. He wears a white long-sleeve fire retardant shirt underneath his army green cavalier vest. The vest is held down by six buttons and a large leather strap that runs around the mid part of his chest to his left shoulder blade. His fire-retardant pants are black with very fine thin white strips that run vertically down the legs. His boots are quite large as they run almost past his calves, his gauntlets are almost similar in design as they also run up his forearm nearly touching his elbow. His gauntlets and boots are both reinforced and padded within to provide additional protection when he strikes objects with enough force to break a normal person bone. Around his waist, he wears a large leather belt that has an array of small objects in it. This ranges from ball bearings, steel jacks, and boomerang tucked in the back of his belt. The last article of clothing he wears is a forest green cloak that is quite tattered. This particular piece of clothing has no functionality to it, except to make him look the part of his favorite fictional hero.​

PERSONALITY:
Hitoshi is a love-struck dramatic fool who is marked with simplicity when it comes to his demeanor. At a young age he took a liking to both masculine and feminine things. These interest help develop who he is today by making him a kind, sensitive, and straight-forward individual. He is compassionate to others and is willing to go an extra mile to help those in need, to the best of his ability. Adventurous by heart, Hitoshi tries to make the simplest of pleasures seem like exhilarating experience that all must enjoy.​
After developing his quirk Hitoshi develop a strong sense of justice, which compels him to do the right thing even if it means breaking the law. However, he does feel remorse if it comes to that and will usually return to take responsibility for his actions. His devil may care ways has always afforded him to easily place his trust in others and make attempts to be a dependable force in their life. Despite, being burned in the past by others who have taken advantage of his trust. He refuses to change his ways, believing there is always good in other people.​


BIOGRAPHY:
Hitoshi Ishida was born in Osawaka, Japan. His family was as ordinary as a family could be in todays modern Japan. His mother "Yua Ishida" a pro-hero, and his father was unknown to Hitoshi as he passed away before he was born. Growing up in a house with a pro-hero Hitoshi grew up with a deep appreciation for a sense of justice and peace, one that a true pro-hero would strive for. The most influential person on his choice of lifestyle is none other than his mother. Hitoshi mother was a gentle soul, whose kindness was well known through the Hero Community. Her influence was deeply engraved into her son’s upbringing, bestowing him with the same kindness she possessed. Yua never discouraged Hitoshi from hobbies or interest he picked up as a child, even when he started to take a liking in both masculine and feminine things. She only encouraged his interesting, inspiring him to be the best version of himself that he could be.​
When Hitoshi quirk began to manifest Yua was thrilled that her son’s quirk was like her own, they both possessed the power of attraction. However, Hitoshi didn’t have the additional ability of repulsion the ability “Push” objects or people away. This was how Yua earned herself the name “Lady Allure” as she would quickly pull her opponent into her only to push them away similar to how a slingshot works. Yua made it her goal on her time off to help Hitoshi master his ability and try to composite for his missing ability of repulsion. It was during those time, Hitoshi found himself most flustered as he felt he lack the abilities to become a true pro-hero. However, with his mother’s guidance and reassurance he managed to preserver and learn new methods how to compensate for the other half of the abilities he did not have. These were the best time of Hitoshi life, before the incident.​
When Hitoshi was eight years old, his mother was slain in the line of duty. He remembers the day quiet vividly as he woke up early to catch the blue hour of the coming day. This had become a tradition with him and his mother. She would normally return home during these hours after working as a pro-hero. He would wake up early to brew a pot of tea, which they would share as they watched the sun rise over the land. However, on that day his mother didn’t return. Instead, he was greeted by the police chief accompanied by other hero’s that had worked along side his mother. They came to inform him that his mother was taken down by a villain while she was trying to rescue a group of people trapped in a collapsed building. Devastated by the news, Hitoshi shut down for a while retreating away from the world. Being to young to be emancipated he went to live with another pro-hero that was a close friend of the family. He spent the first few months in a state of depression. The pro-hero that had taken him on as his ward was Iron Crush, he was a childhood friend of Yua. They attended the same schools and even started working at the same Hero company together.​
He spent most of his time trying to cheer up Hitoshi from his depression, without any luck. That was until, he decided to show Hitoshi a bunch of home-videos he had of him and his mother, during there times growing up and at the Hero Academy Taiyou. It was watching these videos that rekindle Hitoshi flame for life. Watching his mother’s past trails, tribulations and exploits he found the courage to continue forward. With a heavy heart he decided to push forward to carve out his own path in life, one that his mother could be proud of.​
When he finally turned Fourteen, he got emancipated with the help of Iron Crush. Though he was welcome to stay in his own, he decided it was best to return to his family home to start his journey into become a pro-hero. He spent the remaining year continuing his training and going to school, bettering himself to enter the same institution his mother attended. When it finally came time to place for the entrance exam, Iron Crush was there to support him. After discovering he had passed the entrance exams he was excited to start his new life in Taiyou in hopes of following in his mother's footsteps.​

IN-DEPTH: Attraction is the ability to pull objects or people towards them from a distance. Pointing at the intended target allows the user to mark their target and utilize the ability. Determining the speed at which the object/person is pulled at is dependent on the desire they want the object/person travel towards them. This ability is capable of being used on objects/people in motion. Anything that is above the weight class the user is capable of pull will result in the user being pulled towards the object/person instead.

given her upbeat personality, okemia didn't really grow up in a traumatic household. her parents were rather accepting and supportive of her life choices which seemed startling to her peers when they first heard about it. it wasn't because she demanded or was a family favorite, they just saw a whole lot of potential in her and wanted to see her grow into a strong hero someday. okemia's eldest brothers, which she adoringly calls yemyem and channie, are to blame for her weird way of interacting with others. they always told her that being incredibly affectionate or touchy was the only way to make strong bonds. she never really found any fault in that since her brothers were popular in their class.

when okemia later started in school, her quirk developed. she was afraid that her friends would label her as a villain since she had the ability to control blood at will. that morning her brothers told her otherwise; her friends wouldn't have the heart to turn their backs on her. with a nervous bounce on her steps, she arrived to school and when it came to the quirk apprehension assessment, they were all huddled around her and showered her with support. it was then that she was seen at a high regard and pretty much became the idolized queen among her class.

okemia learned that fear was only just a temporary feeling and that it shouldn't invade her senses. with that in mind, she was officially ready to start her new chapter in the heroics course to make her family proud.

BASIC the user is able to control their own blood to create makeshift weapons of their choice.

IN-DEPTH the user is able to use their blood by biting into their thumb to allow it to exit freely. once the blood is out in the open, they can freely control its flow and movements, in okemia's case, she can make weapons so long as its not bigger than her own frame. this eventually expands the more she is to train herself into making bigger things. however, there is another method for to her achieve this in a moments notice. if the user were to consume blood from others and depending on their blood type, it can enhance her own for a short amount of time.

LIMITATIONS the user is limited in what they can do with their blood before passing out. while they may be agile and can put up a decent fight, they are a little more slower as compared to everyone else. the max amount of time that that the user is allowed to use it for is roughly five to six minutes at a time. majority of the time spent, for okemia, is mainly focused on strengthening her quirk to make it last a little longer after every usage.

APPEARANCE He has a relatively skinny build that looks deceptively weak. However, due to his quirk, he always trains his body, so it is actually way stronger than it looks. His wardrobe is filled with nothing but dark or monochrome colors like blue, gray, black, white, and some variations of each shade. He can commonly be seen wearing some sort of dark t-shirt or long-sleeve with dark long pants, regardless of the weather. He has a few long coats, all in dark colors. The only other colors that he will tolerate wearing is red (as seen by his hero costume) or dark green.

MISC He is always wearing his signature pair of round glasses. He can't see anything but blurs without them. His glasses have been designed to have a strap that goes around his neck. This is necessary because whenever he was bullied in the past, his glasses were always the first to be targeted.

PERSONALITY
Due to his past bullying, he grew up as a quiet, introspective child. Surrounding himself with and books, he barricaded himself for long hours, immersing himself in the various fantasy worlds that would inspire his creations. As he got older, that introspection turned into a cynical outlook on the world, as he had learned very well that the world was not as shining bright as people wanted it to be. With his pessimistic perspective, he just focused more on improving himself over trying to get along with other people, although he definitely wasn't mean enough to push people away.

Even though he doesn't look like it, he has a sharp tongue and extremely dry humor that he uses almost on the daily along with his sarcastic wit. And yes, he can take and dish out jokes. He can also be very outspoken about how he sees the world, often criticizing the heroes he feels are lacking, and analyzing the various vigilantes and criminals that catch his eye. Also, as a loner and a wallflower, he takes advantage of his low presence to listen and observe the people around him, enabling him to gather all sorts of information. Unfortunately for his enemies, he is the type to hold grudges, so be careful of spilling any secrets around him, because he will definitely use that against you.

BIOGRAPHY
Born to a mom who wrote books for a living, he showed a love for books from the very beginning, only smiling in his mother's library. As a result, no one was surprised when he manifested a paper manipulation quirk at the age of 4. From then on, he would frequent libraries and bookstores to read all sorts of material, causing his mental fortitude and concentration to improve dramatically over time. Due to his adoration of reading, he was a bit of loner, preferring to spend his time alone in quiet corners reading instead of interacting with his fellow yearmates. Because he didn't really talk to other people, he was often ostracized and bullied by the other boys in his class, who would call him lame, weak, and girly.
With constant experiences of bullying, he became even more withdrawn, usually holing up in school libraries and really only talking to fellow book-lovers who also frequented these places. Fortunately, reading so much helped him be successful in studying, so he often was the unwilling envy of the boys who were really only good at athletics. As he and his classmates grew older and learned the importance of knowledge and studying for a better future, he earned more begrudging admirers and friends from the guys who would approach him and unwillingly ask for homework help. After gaining more friends in his later life, Meraki could finally open up and communicate more, developing his self-confidence and charisma.

LIMITATIONS

Is weaker/stronger on really windy days depending on wind direction
Duplicating paper too much loses durability and thickness and becomes much weaker
When creating paper from clothes, the clothes are destroyed (can't turn paper back into clothes)
Creating paper from muscle fiber takes ~5 minutes to create 10 pieces of paper (8.5 x 11)
Creating paper from clothes take ~30 minutes to create 10 pieces of paper
Strongest paper can only nick and scratch most metals
Paper manipulation range ~25 ft
If he gets too distracted, he will be unable to control his papers

1. He is currently working on wordless summons and is obsessed with working to improve his understanding and usage of his quirk.

3. Using the same username, he has a small following on UTube, where he posts videos analyzing the world and explaining his views.

APPEARANCE Tsubaki has long brown hair and warm brown eyes. She has a slender hourglass figure with long legs. Tsubaki loves pastel colors and usually tends to wear them along with white. She is almost always seen wearing a skirt, preferring not to wear anything else. She loves how cute and feminine they are. She also likes to wear boots or long socks to show off her long beautiful legs.

HERO OUTFIT Based on an old anime that she found at a vintage shop. It is based on a school girls uniform which she thought was timeless and cute. Her gloves help her hands not get too cold when using her quirk.

MISC When using her quirk slowly her normal warm complexion turns cold, her hair turns white, and her eyes turn an icey blue. That all starts to fade back to normal when she isn't using her quirk.

PERSONALITY
When first meeting Tsubaki you would never guess that she was actually an ice queen. She is extremely warm, bubbly, and caring. She cares a lot about everyone she meets and likes to make new friends. Tsubaki is also very emotional and empathetic which is why she wants to become a hero. She is known to be a little boy crazy at times but knows how to keep her cool. She has a thing for hot headed guys, basically the opposite of herself. (Think Bakugo) Tsubaki loves to laugh, often being a social butterfly trying to bring a smile to the faces of the people she meets.

However when she uses her quirk her personality starts to change too. Its like a deep freezing from the inside out. She then becomes quiet, cold, and focused. Her parents always called her 'Split' due to the fact that she basically becomes a different person when using her quirk. She changes her appearance and attitude. She is not as playful, usually not speaking much. She likes to get her business done and defeat whoever is in her way. Tsubaki turns cold just like her quirk, caring less about others than she usually does. When she stops using her quirk her appearance and personality slowly returns back to normal which she calls the defrost.

BIOGRAPHY
Tsubaki was originally a twin, absorbing her sister in the womb. She was born with icey blue eyes and snow white hair, just like her mother. Though as she started to grow up her hair slowly darkened and darkened just like her eyes. One of her first memories is of the snow. She always was drawn to the cold and loved playing in the snow. Her and her father would build snow men every winter. Although when she was about 6 years old it was a particularly warm year. It didn't snow on her birthday like it had every year prior and Tsubaki threw a fit. That's when her quirk manifested. A little snow flurry started over her head. As the snow started to fall down on her, her eyes and hair returned to the same colors they were when she was born. Tsubaki really loved her quirk and worked every day in her backyard on it. Doing research on humidity and slowly figured out how to use her quirk. Like most kids she watched pro heroes on TV growing up and always thought it was so cool. She also grew up watching a lot of animes. She loved the beautiful women, their magnificent costumes, their bad ass super powers... So when she developed her quirk she thought of cool names to call her attacks. Just like her idols in anime. Her friends always teased her for being so nerdy but she didn't care.

When she got a little bit older she dived into doing anything she could to become a pro hero. Her parents supported her and told her to set her sights on Taiyou high. It was the best school she could go to if she wanted to become a pro hero. Her parents hired an expensive tutor to help her hone her skills too ace the entrance exam. She thankfully got in and her family was so excited. They did everything they could to set her up for success. Just before she left to start school her family went on a vacation to go skiing. It was one of Tsubakis favorite places to go. The beautiful lodges, the way the snow sparkled. Unfortunately her father went out to get them fire wood right before a big storm. He was found hours later in critical condition. After weeks of him being in the hospital they realized his condition wouldn't improve and he was laid to rest. At this point she was already late for her new school. She told her mother that she didn't even want to go to Taiyou anymore. She wanted to stay with her instead. Her mother explained that all they ever wanted for her was to follow her dreams and she was going to Taiyou after all the hard work, time, and money they had put in. So now she is ready to join the class and become a pro hero for her father!

QUIRK Snow Heart
TYPE Emitter

BASIC Create and manipulate snow and ice by freezing water particles around her.

IN-DEPTH Can create snow and manipulate it by freezing the water particles around her.
Polar Freeze - She can control the temperature of the snow, being able to give enemies frostbite if they are subjected to her snow for too long.
Arctic Blizzard - By using most of her strength and energy she can summon a blizzard to rain freezing cold snow upon enemies but it significantly cools down her body temperature.
Icicle Crash - Can freeze water particles to turn into ice then cause it to rain down icicles.
Snow Cushion - Can create fluffy snow to land on or to absorb shock.
Sparkling Snow - Can create shining, shimmering, snow that falls from above to distract enemies.


LIMITATIONS She cannot create snow if there is little moisture around her.
Using her quirk for too long can give her frostbite.
She's usually cold.
Extreme heat or open fires weaken her.
Her quirk seems to be tied to her emotions which can make them unpredictable and cause her a lot of self harm.
Ice is a bit more challenging for her to make.

EXTRA
Has big dreams to be able to control all things ice, water, and snow.
