The time had come for Zim to start his third year of high school. He had remained on Earth even after finding out that his mission was a lie. It had taken time, but eventually he and Dib had called a truce. He might even say he could call the other boy his friend now. Over the years, Zim was slowly learning more about Earth, but there still much he didn't know or understand. High school was proving to be rather confusing at times. But, Zim felt he was doing pretty well. Walking into homeroom, Zim sat down at a nearby empty desk. He glanced around the room, trying to see who all he recognized. Some students he knew, as he had gone to school with them for years. Meanwhile, there were some that he didn't know. Zim rested his chin on his hands, wondering if he and Dib would have the same homeroom at least. It would be good to have homeroom with someone he knew better.

*********
A new town and a new school. Blair could feel her stomach practically somersaulting from nerves. The only person she knew here was her sister, Olivia. She was thankfully that she wouldn't have to walk into the school alone. Looking towards her sister, Blair said, "Well, I guess we'd better head to homeroom," she said, giving a small shrug of her shoulders. "Are you nervous?" It was hard for Blair not to be. She was still barely used to this town, and she didn't exactly know many people here. It was a whole new situation for the girl. Turning, Blair began to walk down the hallway, looking for their room number. At lest she and Olivia were in the same homeroom. "Here's the room," she said, looking into the open door. She could several students already sitting down. Glancing back towards her sister for a moment, Blair went into the room.

Dib entered the school and looked at his schedule before heading toward homeroom, wondering if Zim would be in the same room; he would at least have someone to talk to where most people just tended to ignore him half the time. Well, unless you counted Gretchen, though they didn't talk very often except when they were in the same classes. He opened the door once he arrived and headed over to the table where Zim was once he had spotted him. "Hey." He greeted. Dib had to admit he was glad Zim had decided to stay after learning about his mission, it sucked that they had played him like that though.

----------

Olivia nodded and hummed. "Yeah, a little bit." She replied, still not quite used to this town either, it was hard moving to a new town where you barely knew anyone around. The brunet walked with her sister down the hall and looked around till they reached the room they were supposed to be in. Once in she saw several students already seated. "Let's go." She said as she went to one of the empty seats and sat down.

"Hello, Dib." Zim greeted, looking up at the other boy. Zim could hear other students greeting one another and chatting about what they had been up to during their summer vacation. Most of them ignored him and Dib, which was fairly normal. That was one of the reasons while he was glad that Dib was in his homeroom with him. "How many classes do we have together?" Zim asked, pulling his schedule out from his pocket. He hoped they'd have at least some together. After glancing over his schedule, he looked up to see two unfamiliar females entering the room. Zim had never even seen these two around the city before. He had at least seen most of the people in homeroom around the city or his and Dib's neighborhood, even if he didn't know them. He watched them for a moment, somewhat curious. Then he turned to Dib, "Have you seen those two before?"

*********

Blair was glad when Olivia said she was a bit nervous too. At least she wasn't the only one. Nodding at her sister, Blair followed her into the classroom. Some students glanced up from their conversations when they came in, but most didn't seem really pay much attention to them. Following Olivia over to some empty seats, Blair sat down by her. She could hear several different conversations going around them as the others caught up with one another, or told each other what they had done over the summer. That was when Blair noticed one boy in the room looking at them. He had green skin, which she had never seen before. The boy looked away and turned to the dark-haired boy beside him. Blair turned away and pulled out her schedule, looking over it. "At least we have a few classes together," she said, looking towards Olivia.

Dib hummed as he looked over the schedule a moment, seeing that they had at least a few classes that they had together, at least four. He looked back up at Zim when he spoke again and glanced over to see the two girls that he had told him about. "No, I've never seen them before." He replied and sat back as he looked back over at Zim. "They must have just moved here or something." He said it had been a while since they had any new students.

-----

Olivia looked at her schedule and smiled, at least she would have some classes with her sister, so that was good. "Yeah." She replied before noticing the boy with green skin. It was odd, but at the same time, she didn't know if he just had some weird pigment problem that made his skin that color. "Other than that, we'll just have to make some friends." She smiled.

Zim nodded slowly, his gaze darting towards the two girls again for a brief moment. He wondered if they should say anything to them. Before he could think on it much more, a teacher walked into the room. She was an older woman, but she thankfully didn't look as irritable as Ms. Bitters had. The teacher spoke to them briefly, introducing herself as Mrs. Pines, a history teacher. It was typical first day, with the teacher introducing herself and she took role. Zim glanced towards the two girls for a moment. So their names were Olivia and Blair. Interesting. Perhaps he and Dib would have classes with them this semester. He was curious to see who all he had classes with this year. That was when the bell rang, signaling for them to head to their first class. Standing up, Zim glanced towards Dib to see if he was following.

*********

Smiling back at Olivia, Blair nodded in agreement. She considered introducing herself and her sister to the two boys sitting near them, but the teaching come into to the room stopped her. Blair was silent as the teacher spoke and took attendance, only speaking when the teacher called her name. When the bell rang, Blair stood up from her seat. "Let's go see if we can find our next class," she said, shouldering her bag. "Hopefully it won't be too far away." At their school one of Blair's classes had been situated across the campus from one another, and she had nearly been late several times because of that. As she spoke, Blair didn't pay quite as much attention to where she was going. She ended up lightly bumping shoulders with someone. "Oh! I'm sorry!" She said, giving the person a sheepish look, "I wasn't paying attention to where I was going." That was when she realized she had bumped into the dark-haired boy she had noticed earlier. She was pretty sure Dib was his name?

Dib hummed as he listened to the role, saying here when his name was called; he heard the two girls' names and hummed a little as he put that information aside, for now, wondering vaguely if they would be in any other classes with him or Zim. He got up when the bell rang and was headed over to Zim when one of the girls bumped into him. He looked at her when she apologized and smiled a little. "No, it's perfectly fine, you weren't paying attention and honestly neither was I." He said and hummed trying to remember her name till it came to him finally. "Blair right? I'm Dib."

~~~
Olivia stayed quiet as the role was called as well and raised her hand when her name was called, saying here along with it; she hummed in thought as she looked to the two boys when their name was called. When the bell rang she nodded at what her sister had said and stood, getting her things ready to head out of the room till her sister bumped into one of the boys. "I'm Olivia, it's nice to meet you Dib...and your friend, Zim right?" She smiled, looking over at the green boy.
