Altissa Academy, the most revered and prestigious school of magic in Kingdom of Asla. Despite it's status it is quite easy for a person of any race or walk of life to get into the academy, be they poor imp's or rich high elves so long as they have the drive to learn and better their craft they are allowed inside the academies walls.

This does of course bring up drama within the student body, though for the most part it's handled by the students themselves unless the Headmaster or teacher sees the need to intervene. Even with this fairly lax mindset things are peaceful at the academy, relatively speaking of course, and it's upheld it's standards and stature for the past three hundred years since it's founding by Headmaster Nifilem Gray; a famous High Elf said to of mastered every possible school and branch of magic in his centuries of exsistance before his mysterious death a hundred years after the founding of the Academy.

Each student upon arrival are questioned by various staff members to get their various interests and a feel for their personalities before they're each given roommates, more often than not a roommate that clashes either minorly or majorly with their personality in an effort to help them grow as a person. The school itself teaches every branch of magic you could possibly imagine, or at-least elements similar to one you may have. Thus people from all over the Kingdom and even neighboring kingdoms tend to flock to the academy even if they don't stay long to hone their skills.

A recent addition with the school that's caused even more members to show up is the inclusion of missions after each daily lesson, save for free time on the weekends of course, which are more of a 'hands on' sort of way of teaching. Students are split into groups, each having a varying task and each being graded differently based on performance. Said groups are completely random to change things up and have students learn and be tossed into different situations they have to work hard to solve.

Needless to say Altissa Academy is the prime-hub of all things magic, accepting new students any time or day of the year with open arms. Tuition is also free, seeing as it's directly funded by the Kingdom treasury and the wealthy members of staff. With little to no reason not to enroll, why not?
