Applepaw looked confused, still pressed against his sister's side as they watch the intruder in unease .

" Listen, I'm not here to-" . . . "-Hurt anybody. Im just walking around. "

He pushed his chest out and he felt his fur puff out in an attempt to look big . The large, oddly colored cat did make him nervous, with his twitchy behaviours and the way he moved as he seemingly thought to himself, but the two weren't interested in backing down until he left .

The brown colored apprentice stepped forward before lowering his head, unsheathing his claws with a flick of the tail . His sister dropped to a stalk and watched, but she knew what to do if the stranger started a fight . They could do this: it's just one cat, right ?

" Well, go walk somewhere else, rogue . . this land belongs to us, " he called out a bit more nervous than intended, but he blinked the thought away, raising his spine in a defensive manner, " If you don't go we'll just have to chase you off "

Shadowfish started walking, noticing that sky was darkening. Although no one had yet appeared to guide her through her dream, she heard voices up ahead. She gently peaked her head through the bushes, watching as a circle of- wait, was that, dogs? She blinked. Shadowfish had never heard of a pack of Star Dogs existing, but I suppose it isn't that far fetched for other animals to join the stars after death. She thought.

Something grabbed her scruff and pulled her back, away from the bushes. A knee jerk reaction kicked in and she growled, pulling away to face the stranger- who turned out to be her old mentor, "Rosesmoke." She was loudly shushed, and pulled away. The two walked in silence for a bit until they got to a separate clearing further away. "What was that all about?!" Shadowfish asked, annoyed. "What do you mean? I was just trying to stop you from getting killed!" Rosesmoke answered. The younger medicine cat sighed. "Okay well, thanks, but I'm pretty sure I would of been fine. Look, is there any reason you called me here?" And any reason why a pack of Star Dogs is meeting in these woods and yet nobody has said a single thing about them? She wondered.
"Oh, yeah no, I just pulled you away for no reason at all!" Rose said sarcastically. "Look, you need to-" "Shadowfish!" Another molly barled into them, her multicolored fur flashing. "Ow! Get off of my tail would you?!" Rosesmoke yelped. "Opp- Heh, sorry babe." Ripple said, moving aside. "And what are you doing her anyway? I thought I told you to watch the kits?" Her mate said."Don't worry, Cavepool is watching them." Ripple said. "Besides, I had to come greet Shadow! It's been far to long since we talked."

"You two were last moon. That's not very long Ripple."

"Eh, whatever. So what are we talking about?" Ripple gave a little bounce.
"Hon, settle down. I was about to redeliver the prophecy, like we talked about, remember?" Rosesmoke told her. "Oh, right." Ripple said.
"Prophecy?" Wondered Shadowfish. "Yes, we have to redeliver it. Our first choices, uh, left. My only worry is your getting sidetracked won't have left us enough time before you wake up, to tell you-"

Shadowfish woke up, on the hard cool stone of the Moonpool, even more confused than before.

Sapphirepaw blinked her unique blue orbs as Waterclaw spoke. Her eyes seemed to stare into space as she hummed softly in agreement. Her long fur fluffed up slightly as her ears twitched. "It is common to know that anything can change within a moon." She agreed softly. Her voice was uncertain as she tilted her head to one side, ears flicking back uneasily. "And do you mean for me to follow my instincts then?" She asked just so she could clarify. She wasn't sure what was happening, but something was going on. And things were changing faster than she could expect. Her home clan ... she was sure would end up being an enemy to her new home... and if anything Sapphirepaw wasn't one to give up without a fight. Sure she might be mostly blind, but her knowledge was sharp, her mind sharper and her determination was almost unmatched. She would not fail her clan, nor would she let Starfrost down. "I won't let you all down." She promised softly, her voice sure and full of spirit as she dipped her head towards where the blurred star-filled figure could be made out just barely by her eyes. ​

his red eye twitched as the voices grew louder. He unsheathed his usual claws, the dog teeth making it hard to see them. As the absence of blood made him angrier, His ears pinned back. All he could see infront of him was fresh kill, simply waiting to be pounced on. Techno couldnt wait any longer. He lunged at the smaller cat immediately, paw pushing down on ApplePaws back, his spine threatening to be crushed

His claws dug harshly into his skin, a sick, twisted smile on his face. He looked at the other apprentice, as if beckoning her to fight. A few moments of silence passed before his jaws slid around Applepaws neck, raising him up with a hurtful grip. If she doesnt do something, the apprentice is as good as gone.

The tri-colored feline smiled softly, a purr threatening to rumble off her chest. Giddiness arised in her, the same as when they came to realize and accept her own feelings " yes, together. " she mewwed, letting her form to finally relax.

A half-moon glowed on the misshapen gray boulders, turning them silver-gray. The silence was broken only by the whisper of willow trees and oncoming thunder.
In the brush surrounding the border with the moor there was a stirring in the shadows as lithe dark shapes crept stealthily onto the other side.

Unsheathed claws glinted in the moonlight. Wary eyes flashed and then, as if on a silent signal, the creatures leaped at each other, and suddenly the rocks and brush were alive with wrestling, screeching cats.

Leopardpaw scooted his body across the rocks with lightning precision. eyes locked on the Moorclan tabby before him, He flattened his ears and crouched ready to pounce on the unsuspecting warrior when a solid mass slammed into his flank knocking him from his perch ontop of the rock.
hitting the ground and his head swimming the young tom watched the world swim before him, cats locking into mini battles as he fought for breath. shakily breathing and trying to find a rhythm to it a familiar spotted cream pelt flashed into view over him.
"Spottedfang?"
he watched dazed as his father slashed at the oncoming cats trying to take advantage of the fallen apprentice.
Catching his breath Leopardpaw shakily stood shoulder to shoulder with Spottedfang matching the swipes as best he could.

As the wind picked up and buffeted the cats fur heavy droplets formed and fell as the sky unleashed it's burden.
Unseen by others a cat who, taking advantage of the situation like Leopardpaw was trying to pushed a boulder closer and closer to the edge of the mass of rocks aiming for any cat on the Willowclan side.

Swipe for swipe the duo chased off the invaders progressing on them. if only just. In the mind of Leopardpaw victory was at hand and newfound energy coursed through his paws. as he slightly stepped away from his father to speak an encouraging word that's when he heard it........................

Bolting upright fear scent dripping off of him Leopardspot shivered, it had been moons since he dreamed of his father's death.
as gory as it was he should've watched out better for his surroundings!
bitterly he grimaced as the wounds opened again.... His mothers abandonment, the clan's pity. weakness and emotions. he huffed and shook the fear off his pelt. The dawn patrol had took more out of him then previously thought. he padded out of the warriors den heading for the dirtplace.

Her eyes vaguely widened and she nodded firmly, sighing through her nose .

" If instincts are what keep you safe then put them to good use, young Sapphirepaw, " she mewed gently, " I do believe you'll never let us down . . you have a lot ahead of you, " she commented lightly before looking up at the sky . The sun was warm in the land of stars, and the stars were just as bright as her pelt . Time didn't work like it did on the live-lands, but that's what you could expect from an afterlife .

She slowly let her eyes falter back onto the apprentice and she nodded, " A dark star shines in the night. The unexpected shall be expected, and enemies shall unite to ward off the darkness. Find the one who speaks to both, " she approached the apprentice, leaning over to tap her nose against her forehead, " This is all of the time we have for tonight, I trust you'll know what to do . . you're a smart one for your age "

She stepped away quietly, tail flicking as the moonpool's connection soon ended .

Applepaw shrieked in surprise as large paws struck his body, and his legs crumpled underneath the weight as he dugs his claws into the grasses below . His eyes shot towards his sister as he attempted to thrive around, but the pressure on his spine shook him to the core . He squeezed his eyes shut, and he realized any sense of confidence he held a second ago was gone . He let out a sharp hiss and flinched as jaws gripped his neck, and he went still ad wide-eyed as he was lifted from the ground . This cat was so much larger upclose .

Petalpaw snapped into action, leaping at the large, pink-toned cat and grappling onto his side with a shriek as she dragged a claw down and into his side, biting for his ear as she tried to help her brother . She gripped onto his back with wide eyes, digging her claws into his back and spine area as Applepaw wrenched around to claw at his attacker's face .

" Get off of my brother ! " she hissed . Her fur was sticking up in every direction, and her heart was racing . This cat is crazy .

The large cat took in a sharp breath, now mainly focusing on the smaller cat on his back. He twisted just a bit, while also flinging his head from side to side to make it more difficult for the latter he was still holding. He rambunctiously rammed himself backwards into a tree to knock the other off, hopefully distracting them.

Once the slight weight was off of him, he wasted no time to slam Applepaw onto the ground with the force of a rushed tide. He stared at the dazed and bleeding young feline below him, making sure he stayed down for a while he turned to face the slightly more troublesome apprentice and approached quickly, ready to taste blood. He snapped his maw around Petalpaws smaller body, sinking his teeth in deep to the point it felt like he wouldn't let go unless alot of weight was put on them.

He rapidly swung his head back and forth again, trying to get her in a dazed state like Applepaw. Once her movements were less clean, he swung her against the tree before letting go.

Sapphirepaw listened intently as the words rushed over her. Her eyes closed as she took a shuddering breath in. Her tail tip twitched before she pressed into the soothing touch against her forehead. As soon as the she-cat stepped away from her, Sapphirepaw felt the loss as cool air brushed over her long fur and her icy orbs opened slowly. The stunning world faded from the blurred trees and stardust-filled landscape into the soft lapping of the pool at her paws and the regular trees around her. A soft sigh escaped the gentle apprentice's muzzle as she slowly got to her paws, giving a wince as her shoulder twinged painfully. The injury reminding her it was there and stiff as she had been laying still for a while in one position. Her eyes scanned the area slowly, scenting and watching to see if any other medicine cats were awakening.​

The angry tom was caught off guard as another voice came from the bushes nearby, and he let out a hiss as he backed away from Oak to take in the area around them . He caught eye of the Kittypet, annoyance bubbling in his chest, " Who are you calling a fool ? I came here to retrieve someone, it's you Kittypets who are making this difficu- " he was quickly cut off as Oak tackled him to the ground, and his pelt prickled as he froze up . Two against one ? He could get the others to help him but . . no, he's the deputy, it's his job to settle this . Straightstamp looked between the two, ears twitching as he fell limp under Oak's paws, forming a plan in his mind .

" Can't we make a deal ? " he huffed gently, fur prickling in annoyance .​

Although he was still angry, Oak eased off of the stranger a bit at the prospect of a deal. Retracting his claws, the tom kept his paws steady on the other's forelegs and stared. "And what would that be?" Oak asked wary. Although he was larger than average, he was extremely grateful to have Casino as backup, in case this was a trap, or one of the others desided to spring. But still, where is Lilac when you need her?

Fish stood her ground with tense muscles and body. She stared at this she-cat without a word. “Right,” she meowed at last. “But I’m not one to accept help. I like to do things on my own. I am… independent.”

Fish grumbled and swished her tail slowly; which was fluffier than the rest of her pelt. “If you hadn’t noticed, my two-legs did this. You’re glad I have this thing on,” she pointed out her muzzle. “And who are you anyways?”

Ivorypaw woke up with a start, her breath sharp as the last of those evil emotions began to leave her . Her heart seemed to beat faster than normal and she bit the urge to wail with a nip to the tongue . Her head was spinning but it felt grounding when she glanced over to see the fellow apprentice awake already . She frowned, inching a bit closer, " Sapphirepaw, hi, how did it go? " she mewed sheepishly as she looked around for her mentor . Her heart ached and worried, and she didn't know who she could talk about . Was that a prohpecy ? An omen ? Was she allowed to tell anyone about these things ?

She pushed it away, looking at the blind molly in an almost hopeful manner . Maybe the others have something they could share ? She looked around for her mentor Shadowfish, blinking quickly when she noticed she was awake too and quickly looking away to watch Sapphirepaw once more . The rest of the cats would be waking as well .

Applepaw lets out a gasp for air, jolting as the wind was knocked out of him and his head crashed against the earth ground below . His eyes were wide as his breaths were short and sparse, his vision growing sharp as it stared off at the trees in front of him . The sense of pain and shock rushed over him, and he almost wanted to cry if he could . His blood went cold at the sound of his sister screaming, and instantly he regretted even leaving camp, and for asking her to hunt with him .

Petalpaw didn't even realize the sound left her until the pain kicked in, teeth digging into her as her eyes snapped onto the large, beast of a cat . Those evil eyes duh into her mind, brought her into a moment stillness . Her heart beat fast and she didn't have time to resist when she was suddenly being shaken around . All she could think about was her brother and the pain, her vision blurry and her body screaming with adrenaline . She could smell blood before she hit something with a loud crack . Something was wrong with her and she couldn't fight back, she couldn't see .
Panic settled in and her mind seemed to roll with waves of emotions before a hot wave of nothingness washed over her body and mind .

Applepaw felt sick at the sounds, sick in his heart, sick of himself . Her slowly inched to his paws, breathing sharp as he slowly slipped a glance towards his sister . He froze . She looked broken .

His eyes snapped onto the stranger and his eyes widened as his head ached and slurred with pain and nausea . He let out a whimper, " You monster ! " he cried . He wanted to see if Petalpaw was okay, but he felt half dead already and didn't know if he'd manage to get out alive . His heart beat worthlessly and his claws unsheathed as his spine and wounds stung . Everything hurt and he didn't know if it was the pain in his head or the blood rolling from his body . He couldn't leave his sister, he could still save her .
His legs trembled and he felt cold, he felt scared .

I don't know what my apprentice has been doing all the way out here, but we're hungry and tired and want to head home as soon as possible, " he mewed slowly, tail lashing as he eyed up the young Oak .

" I don't understand why you feel the need to hide them, so just tell him we're waiting for him in the forest around here, " he mewed bluntly .

He drug his tongue across his muzzle, turning to face the feline. He felt a twinge of pity for killing his sister, though only a bit. He let out a huff " Listen kid. I warned you," he started emotionlessly. " Technoblade never dies. " he finished and padded away without another word.

His ear flicked, droplets of blood tricklindown occasionally, which reminded him of his own wounds. He soon let himself run up a tree to be able to to freely do it without getting attacked by the cat he spared.

she giggled lightly, her heart fluttering when the molly got closer. Heat rose to her cheeks while she let herself and Current sit in comfortable silence for a few minutes. She looked at the moon, still high in silverpelt. Almost as if time was at their paws.

" Hey Current," she begun " want to do something? I mean. I dont want our minimal time to be wasted with boredom. " she chuckled

Oak was about to disagree with the older tom, when another voice stepped in. "Sure. We'll tell him" Wh- Lilac. Of course. Doesn't she see how bad an idea this is? We're basically handing Olive's boyfriend (wasn't his name Pumpkinpaw?) over without a fair fight! He thought. "Oak, get off him will you?" His sister ordered. Reluctantly he complied, stepping off and standing over by the tabby she-cat. But before he could argue, Oak was interrupted again by his housemate. "We can play this." She whispered. "Trust me."

Shadowfish brushed the sleep from her eyes with the back of her paw, yawing quietly. She glanced over to her right at the two apprentices, who both seemed to be awake. Her head was still spinning, but the molly figured it would be pointless to try and make sense of things right now. Her gaze fell on Ivorypaw again. "How'd it go?" She asked quietly.

Sapphirepaw twitched her ears as Ivorypaw's voice reached her and the blind molly turned her head to focus on the blurred form. Carefully placing her paws before one another, the calico molly slowly made her way to the other apprentice. Her ears flicked slightly as she hummed softly. "It went alright. I talked with Waterclaw, she did tell me some things, though." She murmured, a bit hesitant to share the information she had gotten right away. She didn't want to let down the other molly that had deemed her worthy enough of a visit. Her eyes focused on the other medicine cat before carefully flicking her tail tip. Raising her head, the apprentice scented the air, trying to decifer where Boulderclan territory was so she could begin to head back. Not wanting to cause trouble for the other two.​

He stared at the beast of a cat, watching his large, pinkish paws retreat before Petalpaw quickly ran to his sister . He nudged her quickly, checking for a breath as he hyperventilated, " Oh my StarClan, Petalpaw ! Petalpaw I'm so sorry- " he paused as he leaned closer, twitching . No movement, no breathing, nothing . His own body itched and bled but devastation was settling in . He screamed his heart out .

Her ears swiveled around momentarily and she shot up to her paws with an excited purr, " Yeah ! Why not . Wanna go explore the forest ? Maybe through the fields ? We could do a race too if you'd wanna, " she mewed fruitfully . Those more excited parts of her always came out at the notion of play,

She walked by Wolfpaw, rubbing against the large apprentice in a friendly manner with her tail before padding a bit closer to the treeline . Her turquoise eyes settled onto Wolfpaw's own gold eyes from where she looked over her shoulder, and she grinned comfortably, " We can do anything, Wolfpaw . Whatever it is, I'd do it with you, " she offered .

Straightstamp let out a heavy sigh as Lilac cut-off that whiny tom, and he slowly rose to his feet as the others spoke . His ears twitched as he listened, backing away to stand closer to the three other cats who watched a bit tiredly . He could understand, they all wanted to go home .

" Listen, Kittypets . Pumpkinpaw left without word . The clans are sick and we came all this way to bring them home . We have the right to at least speak to them, " he spoke slowly, trying to keep his nerves at bay . He lowered his head respectfully, " I'm sorry if we came off as aggressive, it's been days and we don't know what's going on back home, " he explained again nervously . Would he have to go find them by himself ? He would if he had to .

" Well- alright, just tell Pumpkinpaw that we're here, and that we want to talk to him . Twotoe misses him too, " he mewed, pointing at the tabby nearby .

She seemed to fall quiet when Shadowfish approached, and she stood up straight before nodding, " Okay- ah- it went okay ! I think- I'll tell you later, " she meowed quickly, " I think it's a bit important, " she pawed at the ground before sighing . She glanced over at Sapphirepaw, " I spoke to a cat named Doveberry, I didn't know her but she was a medicine cat once, " she meowed curiously . She glanced around before shuffling over to Shadowfish a bit more, " I'll see you at the gathering in half a moon, Sapphirepaw, " she meowed in a friendly manner before looking off at her mentor Monarchspider . She wiggled thoughtfully, " You should go back to camp before Monarchspider leaves without you, " she snorts lightly as the Calico seemed to wander off .

Looking at that large she-cat made eery feelings settle in her heart and she looked away quickly, " I think you're a cool cat, Sapphire, " she added on quickly .

Sapphirepaw made her feel more relaxed .

Her eyes widened before she huffed through her nose glumly, giving in with a shrug . She licked her chest in mild embarrassment before chuckling, " I don't think you'd hurt me if you didn't have to, " she offered lightly . She brought her fluffy tail around to cover her paws, fluffing out her own fur subconsciously as Fish's pelt puffed out .

" My name is Angel, I live around here with my twolegs, " she explained gingerly . She seemed a bit unaware of the other cat's aggression, but most people liked her incapability of recognizing when she shouldn't be pushing her kindness .

Olive and Pumpkin were sitting on the bridge at the park, chatting, when Olivepaw noticed the shape of another cat walking through the grass. As the tabby neared he relized it was his brother Oak, and gave a wave with his tail. "Hey bro, what's up?" He asked. "Um.. Some Clan cats are here to see you.. I think. Well either way the want to talk to you Pumpkinpaw." Oak said.

Oh. This is not what Olivepaw was expecting. "Fox-dung."

{Shadowfish; Forestclan Med Cat - JustHereToHide }

"Okay, well you can tell me about it when we get home. Or maybe in the morning since it's so late." She chuckled.
Shadowfish lead Ivorypaw down the mountain and back through Forestclan territory, thinking about the dream she had, and trying not to fall asleep. When they got back she collapsed in her nest and settled down, moving the branches to cover her body before closing her eyes to rest.

' Koi steps back, her back claws digging into the ground. Four cats surround her, each larger and more deadly than the last, and she feels like she could fall at any minute. She knows she can't overpower them or escape, not unless she jumps. Her wounds seer. I have to jump. The largest of the cats raises its paw, preparing to strike. Shadowfish takes a gulp of air, then retracts her claws and pushes off the ledge, floating mid-air for a brief moment before hitting the water, the cold making her shiver as she gasps for air, her eyes closed tightly as water seeps in... '

Shadowfish woke up, gasping for air. She breathes heavily, the nightmare still fresh in her mind. Her tail flicks over her scars and she shudders. "I need some air." She stretches and gets up, hoping she doesn't end up waking her apprentice, who is sleeping in the bed beside her. Poking out through the small gap in the wall she uses for water, Shadowfish takes a deep breath, staring at the large puddle a few feet in front of her. Her mouth feels dry, but she doesn't think she could stomach it right now. "Sometimes I wish I had just drowned in that pond..."

“You don’t know me,” Fish spat, her fur slightly standing up in her neck. Fish had no sympathy towards anyone, no matter the reason. Her eyes examined the she-cat and flickered her ears in thought.

Fish flexed her claws where she sat and gazed off into the trees. “You also live with two-legs,” she says, more to herself. Fish then clawed at the muzzle that was wrapped, oh so tightly, around her head. “You should leave,” she meowed at last, her slitted pupils looking at her.
