"it won't do that, that I can guarantee. I did this exact thing once before on my own room out of curiosity if it would work" Fia replied with a smile. With it agreed that they could easily get something to use, chalk she decided was the best thing as it meant it could be just scrubbed off with no repercussions. It was always her own chosen method when indoors somewhere, especially for practice runs so she had faith it'd be fine in this attic. She followed Matteo down and out of the attic, quickly enough getting out of earshot of the others. She quickly but casually headed out of the main house, making sure to not look suspicious as she headed back to The House. As per usual, it took her only a couple of minutes to get back and walk inside, jogging up the stairs skipping every other step as she went, then headed straight to her room where she closed the door behind her and rummaged through her books, flipping page after page to find the rune. "found you" she remarked as she got about half way through the book. She quickly snapped a photo of it on her phone, then headed back out.

Kay listened to John telling her that it was clear herself and Fia were getting better at bonding with each other and that genuinely gave her a sense of hope and reassurance in her heart and mind that she won't completely suck at being a mother. She nodded when he was done talking, "you're right" she told him, getting the sense it wasn't just Rinaa he was talking about. She knew he too was very much stuck in his ways, she had accepted that a while ago. It was then she heard footsteps once more, making her out of habit look toward the door before looking back again, enjoying just being in bed with John and not rushing to get up.

By the time Fia made her way back up to the attic, Matteo had returned with various colours of chalk and was watching as Charlie carefully lifted the cello out of the case. All the years in the attic had done it no harm thanks to the protective case. It was a beautiful instrument, made of a dark, rich wood that bordered black and brown in colour. The strings were all intact, but Charlie was changing them out anyway. The whole instrument was also in need of a polish, but a quick check in the inside pocket revealed wood polish and a set of polishing and buffing cloths. Charlie had adopted a playing position, she'd grown significantly since the last time she'd played and it felt strange to be holding the instrument again. Meanwhile Moya had whipped the dust sheet off the drum set, and was arranging it in her prefered set up.

John heard the footsteps and knew it was Fia by the strides she took up the stairs. He'd noticed that when she ran up the stairs she tended to land on every second step, just like he did, it was rare he touched on all steps, unless he was slowly walking down it, coat billowing for dramatic effect. "Well that's the teenager again. Probably forgotten something or another." It was the only reason he could think of for such a quick return to The House, she'd only been gone a few minutes. Or maybe it just felt like that because he didn't really feel like moving from the bed any time in the near future. It was quite frankly too comfortable and just the right temperature to entice him to stay.

With the photo taken, Fia left her room, shutting it behind her and jogged down the stairs once more even though she was highly tempted to do a bannister slide but refrained from doing so. Not realising that Kay and John were very much awake, she didn't think to call out to them for any reason, so she just opened the front door, and left closing it behind her. "See you in a bit House when I come back to change" she smiled as she closed the door and then jogged back to Cliff's home. Getting inside, she made sure she wasn't seen and got back up to the attic easily enough, seeing Charlie tending to her cello and Moya tending to the drum kit. "Got it" she stated, seeing Matteo having the chalk of various colours. It really didn't matter to her what she used, but she was a bit of traditionalist and picked the white one. She brought up the rune photo on her phone and handed it to Matteo, "here, to make things quicker, draw this exactly as it's shown on each wall and one on the floor with me. I can then link them and make every wall and the floor completely soundproof" she explained to him, whilst giving him a job to do to make him feel useful.

"So it seems" Kay replied, remembering that Fia had the habit of skipping steps as she ran up them. She also just assumed that Fia forgot something, which if they realised wasn't entirely far from the actual truth. It seemed to be only around another five minutes before Fia was heard running down the stairs yet again. "Aaaand there she goes again. I'm wondering if the girl knows how to walk down stairs" she chuckled, glad that she wasn't the only one who was perfectly content in just laying in bed for a while.

Matteo sent a copy of the photo to his own phone to make things easier for himself. He wasn't the best artist in the world, but was confident he could copy the rune with enough accuracy to meet Fia's standards. As two of the walls were slanted, Matteo had to clamber on top of some boxes to find a point that was easy to draw on, removing various cobwebs in the process. His first attempt at the rune took the longest to draw, but with each wall he got better. While he worked, Charlie dug around for her old music stand and set that up while Rinaa retracted up the ladder, keeping the trapdoor open so she could keep an eye on the comings and goings below. Neither Charlie or Moya were going to start tuning their instruments until Fia was certain the soundproofing worked. "Right, that's that done."

John chuckled slightly at Kay's comment, moving to sit more upright in the bed as there was only so much staring at the ceiling he could do when he wasn't drunk, high or depressed. "Where's the fun in simply walking?" He smirked before adopting a ridiculously fake posh accent. "This is a building that travels through bloody space and potentially into other dimensions, the stuff of myth and legend. People have killed for the possession of this place, a sentient magical entity. One does not simply walk up a staircase like that."

Fia let him send the picture to his own phone, before taking her phone back and and giving it one more look before putting away her phone and she started drawing the rune on the other side of the attic opposite Matteo. It just made things go a lot quicker than her having to repeat the rune several times on her own. She did the floor one last so she knew no one would accidentally walk over it and smudge it. She checked over the work that Matteo did and nodded in satisfaction. Squatting down to the floor rune, she placed her hand on it and said the appropriate incantation to link them all together and activate them. There was a glow on each rune before it faded and looked like any normal chalk scribble. "Okay, you're good to start tuning" Fia said to Charlie and Moya.

As John moved to sit more upright, she moved as well as she was still cuddled up to him out of pure comfort. She pulled her pillow up to rest it in her back as she did so, listening to him chuckle and reply to what he said. The moment he put on the fake posh accent she started laughing, as she did every time he did such a thing. "Shame on me for ever forgetting such a thing" she said sarcastically but amused, this being one of those rare times her American twang and lilt really came through in what she said.

The others watched as Fia performed the incantation, it looked deceptively easy to an outsider, but Rinaa knew it wasn't. Superhuman abilities wise it was a game of genetic roulette. And when it came to magic she'd completly lost out. "Excuse any dying cat noises, it's been a long while." Charlie told them, far more nervous than she looked about taking up the instrument again since her teenage years. "Shut up Charlie, stop overthinking this will you." Matteo sighed dramatically, pulling the dustsheet off the old saggy couch and draping his entire body across it. "You'll be fine, better than fine in fact. So get on with it." "Rude. But appreciated" Charlie replied with a grateful smile, before proceeding to make hideous screeching noises for the next five minutes or so as she completly re-tuned the instrument. There was very little Moya needed to do once she'd set up the kit to her liking, so she took the opportunity to bang out various drum solos, while the others watched on. Rinaa was clearly enjoying listening, she had a thing for girls who played drums and Moya was an excellent player. Once Charlie had gotten over the teething phase, she slipped back into the rythmn easily enough, working her way through various scales and arpeggios before grinning and launching into an energetic classical piece she just about remembered from her childhood lessons."Told you you'd still got it!"
Matteo smirked over at Charlie who smiled and ran a hand through her hair. "Fine, you two were right, I was wrong."

John's wide variety of over the top posh accents never failed to make friends laugh and never failed to infuriate his enemies or real posh people. Kay was proving no exception to that rule. The American accent rearing its head up didn't escape his notice either, prompting him to switch to one of his various American accents. When it came to accents John more often than not had to copy somebody specifically in order to get the accent, unless it was one from anywhere within the UK. He couldn't resist slipping into an American accent for the laugh, a broad sort of drawing one. "Well you won't forget it ever again."

Fia stood away from the rune on the floor making sure not to smudge it in the process and went to her violin which was laid out on top of a box. She smirked at the remark that Charlie made before Matteo just told her to get on with it. If the ability to play was still in Charlie, then Fia had no worries that she'd get right back into the flow of things soon enough. The very fact that it took Charlie a few minutes solid to retune the cello didn't surprise Fia or bother her in the slightest, as she was used to it when tuning her violin. She smirked at Matteo spreading himself out on the now uncovered couch, and glanced over whilst Moya started doing various little drum solos. She could see out the corner of her eye how much Rinaa was enjoying watching her play and had to admit that Moya was very talented. As Charlie started to play properly, she found herself watching intently before Matteo remarked on it. "As they say, it's like riding a bike you don't really forget" Fia agreed.

Kay just found it amusing if anyone put on a fake accent, it just so happened that John was particularly good at making her laugh with it. As for her own accent, most of the time she didn't even notice when the American lilt came into play as it was just her accent, yet when it seemed that John had picked up on it and started doing an American accent, she looked at him, "you taking the piss out of my accent?" She asked, making a point to make the Seattle accent more dominant than her British lilt, but it was obvious she was just messing around with him and was amused by the whole thing.

"Always thought that phrase was bullshit" Charlie replied, pulling out the polishing cloth and the wood wax and polish, and making a start on shining up her instrument. "Given Cliff's various stories on amnesia patients who can't remember things like that, but I'm a cynic on many things comes with the job I suppose. But yes, it does come back easily enough after all these years, which is a pleasant surprise, and it means I won't make an arse of myself." "You'll be phenomenal Charlie, if anybody's gonna be making an arse of themselves tonight I'm pretty sure that's gonna be my job for the night." Rinaa declared from her spot by the trapdoor. "I'm no lightweight before you ask, its the exact opposite, one of the few genetic advantages I got is a high alcohol tolerance. But sometimes you can't say no to an open mic."

John smirked when Kay deliberately made her accent more prominent. He'd no doubt end up being able to perfectly copy her accent. But for now he'd stuck with his repertoire of other accents. "Not in the slightest, I'm clearly doin' a Texan accent." He continued in his original drawl before switching right to an Australian accent he'd picked up from an extremely annoying guy at the League base down under. "But this voice on the other hand is taking the piss of the world's most bloody annoyin' Australian." And just to emphasise the Aussie accent he spewed out a random string of stereotypical Australian phrases and items (including that hat with corks hanging from it).

Fia had to raise an eyebrow at the initial reply from Charlie but when she clarified by going into more detail, she realised Charlie had a very valid point, even if it was from Cliff originally. She hadn't ever thought of it like that before and just took the saying as a light hearted little phrase. She also had full faith in Charlie's ability to be able to play the piece without any problems as she had proven she was very capable of remembering pieces well. She smirked at Rinaa's little remark in response about it probably being her who will make an absolute arse of herself, thinking that she herself would give Rinaa a good run for her money but knowing how badly Rinaa took most of what she said, she kept quiet. Instead she just picked up her violin and looked at the music sheets and tucking her instrument under her chin and picking her bow. She started to play it to familiarise herself with the chords, it started off very rough having never played the piece before but after a few minutes she started to get the feel for the piece.

Kay laughed at him making a point of making his accent Texan before switching to an Australian one to make a point he can take the piss very easily if he so wished by mimicking someone else. She absolutely loved the fact that he could genuinely make her laugh about the stupidest of things, taking her mind off the realities just for that short moment. It was a nice breather from their crazy lives. "Glad to hear it sugar, Aussies are fair game" she said, making her American accent going very southern, practically sounding like Rogue from X-Men.

As Fia started to get to grips with the piece, Charlie continued shining up her instrument, the dark wood coming up beautifully with some TLC and elbow grease. It was a beautiful instrument, the dark wood was a more unorthodox choice for a cello, but at the time Charlie felt it suited her more tomboyish nature better. Looking at it now, Charlie could fully appreciate the craftsmanship of it. At the time, no expense had been spared on the instrument. Even after playing it for only a few minutes Charlie could feel herself relaxing into the flow of the music. Playing cello had been a source of solace It for Charlie when she was younger, doing it for fun rather than to pass exams. Now that she realised she still had it, Charlie was intending to keep playing, even if it was just on a casual basis. To hear the others praising her ability was a moral boost she didn't know she needed. As Fia felt her way around the piece, Charlie gave her input on what Fia was doing right and what was worth changing. Charlie had taken the base line of the duet as the cello played far lower then Fia's violin. Moya was working out her part by ear, experimenting until it sounded right, then writing down what worked.

John recognised what accent Kay was mimicking, as well as associating it with Rogue from the X-Men. There was only one accent he could do in retaliation, that of Remy LeBeau (the X-man Gambit) and Rogue's on again off again flame. John slid into the Cajun French accent with ease. He spoke rudimentary French, mainly insults and food items. "Dat dey are cher, along with de Kiwis and de Swiss. And de Icelandic people, cos they really contribute nothin' besides a football team that shocks the world occasionally durin' de world Cup."

As Fia took little stops at certain bits, she gladly took the opinions on board that Charlie was giving her, finding it was extremely useful and a nice change of pace for her to have someone who knew what they were talking about when it came to a string instrument. She never realised how much she had always lacked in that, until now. She also did admire the cello that Charlie had and found it was just perfect for Charlie. She would have gladly shown Charlie her other violin that was similar to this current one but not entirely, yet she didn't have it on her for obvious reasons. With both Charlie and Moya figuring out and working on their parts, she took up the now again and started playing again. For three people who had never played together before, Fia was pleasantly surprised at how well they seemed to sound and work together.

Kay smirked the moment he put on the accent of Gambit, recognising it instantly. The fact that they seemed to out of nowhere retaliate with the accents of two characters that were linked together was seen as quite amusing to her. She laughed at what he said, leaning against him as she did so. "We're such idiots" she chuckled fondly in her normal accent that was that blended mix of British and American. "But I wouldn't change us for anything" she added.

Rinaa and Matteo were also impressed by how quickly the three managed to fit together. Charlie and Fia's instrents perfectly complimented one another, weaving beautifully together while Moyas drum line provided a drive and something to lock in on for a beat. It took a little while to adjust to playing as a group, but as the practice progressed they fell into the rythmn of things. Matteo found himself tapping his foot in time to the pulse of the music while Rinaa had to keep stopping herself from swaying along in time to the piece. The smile of contentment hadn't left her face during the practice, something beautiful was being created here and seeing her crazy idea coming to life was something else entirely.

John couldn't agree more, they were idiots, yet somehow they understood exactly what the other meant and intended when they went off on a wild and weird tangent like this one. Where Iceland had even come from was unknown to John, but somehow in the heat of the moment it made sense to put it in. Their mutual idiocy was a testiment to their...... something more than just this prophecised bond that they could just fit like this. "Speak for yerself" he smirked, even if the words aid the exact opposite of agreeing with him, his tone made it very clear that he agreed with both parts of her statement. "It works somehow, I don't know how exactly, it just does."

Fia was still and would no doubt always be completely unaware that this whole thing was indeed Rinaa's idea. The collaboration just seemed to be working so perfectly, she had to really force herself not to do the odd little dance move, the score was a stunning piece and she knew in her mind she would never forget this and would play it a lot after this. The most Fia found herself doing was the odd sway to the music from her shoulders or waist as she played. There was no way she couldn't play being competely still if she was standing. A smile was on her face, her eyes closed most of the time as she practiced, her entire being feeling the music.

Kay gently nudged John's shoulder with her own out of retaliation when he told her to speak for herself, but she could tell he agreed with her even if he said differently. It was moments like this that showed and proved to her what they had was indeed real and more than the bond, more than the prophecy. "I don't know either but it does and I'm glad it does." she replied. It's now she would always be grateful and glad that he saved her life that fateful night, and not just left her in the damp alleyway, even if she did try to convince that night she didn't need his help initially.

Moya was the first one to tap out, flopping backwards with a sigh throwing the drumsticks into the air. "If I play any more I think my arms will fall off and then you gotta find yourself another drummer for the night." She sighed, running a hand over her face, pushing her hair back and out of the way from where it had fallen. She was the kind of drummer who used her whole body to play. "I should probably stop too, I don't have cello callouses anymore, I have boxing and gun callouses instead, so I don't want to make my fingers useless." Charlie agreed, setting down the cello and bow and shaking out her arms. "Well, I could do with a drink, or six." Matteo remarked. The attic wasn't particularly hot, but he could see that Charlie and Moya had both been exerting themselves. "Well count me in if somebody's doing a drinks run."

John stretched himself out again, pulling his arms up above his head. He was awake now, and as nice as it felt to have Kay next to him and to have this moment alone, his other leg was starting to go dead, and if he didn't move soon he'd have severe pins and needles. He pulled up his right leg, while stretching out the other one, running his hand over the ball of his foot in the process. "We should probably be getting up, I'm starving, it's going to be a long day and we don't wnat to piss Cliff off that you aren't eating properly espescially since this is her weddin' an' all."

Fia stopped at the same time as Charlie, glad to lower arms now, as even she had her limits for how long she could play before her arms needed a break from being in an upright and 90degree angle. "Same here, my arms need the break more than the anything. Even I have my limits for holding my arms up" she chuckled. "I could definitely go for a drink too" she added after Matteo and Rinaa spoke of getting some drinks. She perched on the box her violin was on earlier, making sure if was sturdy enough to take her weight before she sat on it. She spent the time also opening and closing her fingers to stretch them, whilst letting her arms just hang down.

Kay leaned away ever so slightly so she didn't get accidentally hit by his arms when he stretched out and upward. She got the feeling he needed to get our of bed now, as she noticed he always did that action when he was getting to the point of needing to move. She ran her hand over the circumference of her stomach when he started talking, especially when he said about Cliff and possibly getting pissed off if she wasn't eating properly. She had to smile at that and nodded, "right, a pissed off woman on her wedding day is not someone I want to encounter" she smirked. It was only at this moment that she realised she was hungry herself. So she spotted herself to the edge of the bed and stood up, deciding on what to put on for the time being before making an effort for the actual wedding, as she didn't want to ruin the dress she had bought.

Charlie nodded her sympathy when Fia remarked on how her arms felt, knowing exactly what she meant. The cello relied on a completly different posture, Charlie had to grip with the instrument with her knees when sitting down. "I feel you girl, I feel ya." She sighed, running her hands over one another as Matteo and Rinaa disappeared down from the attic hole in search of drinks. Neither Rinaa nor Matteo bothered with the ladder, just swinging themselves down to the floor. Once her brother had got off the old couch Charlie there herself on it draping herself across it in a very similar fashion to her youngest brother. "I'd forgotten how ridiculously saggy this couch is. A side effect of being jumped on by so many kids, we broke the base frame of it at least three times. Good times." "No wonder your brother made a beeline for it then." Moat smiled leaning back so she was almost lying horizontally in her chair, her wings stretched out as full as posisble for balance. "This piece is already sounding amazing, considering we've never played together. I've got to admit I was skeptical when she first proposed the idea, but not any more." "Same here, I haven't even seen let alone played my cello for eight....... nine years?"

"Most definitely not. From what I've heard, pissed off brides are damn terrifying."
John shook his head as he got up, tossing the covers from over his feet. "Doesn't help that she's more than a match with her cryo abilities. You've never seen her fight with them, and I've only seen her do a little. I may be reckless, but I'm not an idiot. Keep her on the good side, she is basically the family doctor now." He shrugged as he pulled on the old clothe sfron the day before. There was no point changing into his clean stuff now, best save that for the actual wedding procedures. "And if Cliff gets pissed then Cal gets pissed too. And two pissed of brides is one thing to be avoided at all costs."

Fia had a feeling that if anyone could get what she was on about, it was Charlie. It seemed that if anyone played a string instrument, there was just that instant unspoken mutual respect and sympathy for it. She looked over at the two girls as they both laid out and she chuckled at the comment about the couch. As a kid, she never thought about jumping on the couch in either home, mostly because she would have been too scared getting told off by either parent. Her curiosity got piqued however when Moya went on and said about this being 'her idea'. "Her idea?" She asked, "was this Rinaa's doing?" She asked again.

Kay grabbed her maternity shorts and one of her vests to wear for the time being, she listened to what he said about Cliff and nodded in agreement. The last thing she'd ever want to do is to anger someone with the opposite elemental power to her. "oh I don't plan on it. I don't doubt that she could freeze my ass just to make a point" she smirked, as she put on her shoes. "I agree with avoiding two pissed off brides." She smirked as she ran a brush through her hair to get the knots out.

Moya nodded, maybe she wasn't supposed to say anything on it, but the can of worms was open now, so she might as well keep going. "Yep" she replied, placing emphasis on the last syllable of the word, if she'd been chewing gum Moya would have snapped it to emphasise her point. "This whole set up, two strings, a drummer, a lighting operator and a person to come up with alibis is all her plan. It's what she does when she can't sleep or can't get back to sleep, she makes plans and designs stuff." It was one of the first things Rinaa had explained whne she found out they'd be sharing a place for the duration of the wedding. Rinaa's sleep was fragmented, often she'd have the same recurring nightmare and would use work as a way to calm her down, focusing an over active brain on something else. "She had this piece on one of her playlist and decided to take a shot at whether Charlie knew it and would be willing to dust of the instrument. There was no need to ask about me, we've seen each other in action before. Then she remembered it was a duet, so obviously you were the first choice for the melody lines." Moya explained, straight faced, her tone not wavering the whole time. She wasn't lying, it was obvious.

John nodded in agreement, knowing that Cliff would use her powers to make a point, but it would take an extreme push to do that. Cliff to was level headed and calm in a crisis, maybe that was her doctor side coming out. John couldn't help but thinking of the iconic line of Dr John Watson 'I'm an army doctor, which means I can break every bone in your body while naming them'. In his mind it applied perfectly to Cliff. He'd never seen the doctor lose it, but he suspected that if she did it would be quick and concentratedly brutal as possible. "Never piss of doctors, they know exactly where will hurt." He looped the tie around his neck, tying it loosely and slightly crooked. Wearing his own tie straight just annoyed him, one of the many quirks that made John who he was. "Ready?"

Fia listened to the truth coming out from Moya that it was all Rinaa's idea and nodded. She was aware that she probably was only the first choice due to the fact she was certain none else Rinaa knew actually played the violin but it still meant a lot none the less. "And I'm guessing because we're very hit and miss with whether we get on or not, she didn't want me knowing it was her idea" she summarised, easily able to tell that Moya was telling her the truth. "so in that case I won't let on I know it was her idea" she finished saying.

Kay knew it'd take a lot to make Cliff truly lose it, but she still didn't want to risk annoying her even the tiniest amount. She smirked at his remark about doctors and nodded, "that goes without saying" she replied, standing back up after getting her shoes on. She saw he put his tie on crooked yet again, it not even phasing her anymore before nodding once more. "Yeah I'm ready" she said to him.

"Something like that" Moya shrugged, knowing that she was in no way qualified to make a judgement on the relationship between Fia and Rinaa. Rinaa hadn't given a lot of detail, just that it was a complex fued, and there was more than one factor at play, making it clear that this was an uncomfortable topic for her. "I'd say its more about the risk of rejection moreso. This" she waved a hand between the three of them "is bigger than whatever's going on between you two, it's about the brides and their wedding. She figured it would be less likely to be rejected if you simply assumed it was Matteo's idea." "It's a sound assumption, he'd have seen me and you play before and know we're up for it, and would know that Moya was drummer from their chat while working the other day. And Matteo never said whose idea it was, so he's not lying on this" Charlie added, agreeing with Moya on what she said.

John nodded and led the way out of The House. The majority of the pilots were up already, dressed in the same clothes they'd travelled in the day before. Most were eating some form of breakfast and describing their outfits, most having brought two, a set of armour for the ceremony itself, and a dress or suit for the dancing part of the evening. Chas, Elliott and Jay were all talking together, but at the same time watching Dan and his brothers out of the corner of their eyes, clearly fascinated by the triplets. For Jay it was a bittersweet sight, seeing the three interact so easily with one another, laughing at in jokes and slagging off various events in the past. It was reminding her of the connection she'd had with her own twin, something more than words and blood. In the kitchen Matteo and Rinaa were raiding the fridge for drinks while the former explained why and what they were doing. "Of course I'm gonna show them all the embarrassing photos of you growing up. It's my sibling duty."

(This might be my only post for the rest of the day, we're updating the modem and router, so there's no Internet until that's done and I've got no data)

Fia had to agree that this was much bigger than the three of them and whatever the feud between herself and Rinaa was. She didn't want there to be a feud, but due to their clashing if timelines, it was going on whether she liked it or not. She listened to Charlie agree to everything that Moya was saying, before nodding and finally replying, "I agree and it wouldn't have mattered to me who asked me or whose idea it was, I would have said yes because I love playing and more importantly I wanna do it for Cal and Cliff because they deserve a nice surprise and it's the least I could do after they let me stay in their apartment with everyone else and Cliff helping Kay out with the pregnancy and giving me a hand with something personal" she explained.

Kay followed John out The House, managing to keep up and walk beside him like usual. She noted how a lot of the pilots were already up and eating, chatting amongst themselves and so forth before noticing Chas, Elliott and Jay with the triplets. She couldn't see Fia but thought nothing of it, still assuming if a big emergency occured she'd let John or herself know quickly enough. "morning everyone" she greeted them all as they reached their group.

Moya and Charlie listened as Fia spoke, hearing the truth in her words. "Well glad, we're all on the same page when it comes to all this then. Obviously I know them the least but it's clear they're awesome people." Moya didn't feel the same depth of loyalty and appreciation towards Cliff and Cal as Fia or Charlie did. She knew Cliff by sight from times she'd ended up in hospital because some friend had injured themselves and she knew that Cliff was calm, methodical and in general an excellent doctor. She knew less about Cal, but it was blindingly obvious to anybody that she belonged with Cliff and was ridiculously in love with her. Once Matteo and Rinaa had finished gathering drinks and the former had extracted himself from Cliff's conversation they made their way back up to the attic. Passing her drinks over to Matteo to hold Rinaa took a run up, jumped, grabbed hold of the edge of the trap door hole and pulled herself inside the room before letting down the ladder for Matteo. "The brides are downstairs in the kitchen and the current alibis are that us four are pouring through the embarrassing photos, which I'm game for showing around by the way and Charlie's is that she's fucking her work partner." "WHAT!?" Charlie practically fell out of her chair at that accusation, glaring over at her brother only to see him shaking with held in laughter, knowing exactly how to push her buttons and delighted with the result. "You shit! You absolute shit!"

"Mornin' you two."
Chas replied with an easy smile. Chas looked completly normal this morning, unlike his rumpled post-nightmare appearance the morning before. Evidently he'd had no strange dreams that night. John knew Kay hadn't had any such dreams either, so maybe there was a link somewhere. "Good to see you're still alive, we were considering sending in a search party." Elliott smirked, to which John dryly rolled his eyes. "Ha, ha, ha. Clearly Cal got the sense of humour in the family." "You got me there. Today I can't say anything that sounds even slightly like a slandering of my sister."

Fia nodded at Moya's reply, glad that what she said was enough to get the point across that she was doing this for the bride's and nothing more, and that nothing she said was questioned as there was no way she was going to explain the whole time travelling forward and having Cliff help her save her mother from being taken by demons. "That they are" she replied in agreement to Moya's last statement about Cal and Cliff being awesome people. She turned her head when she heard the other two come back, with Rinaa making a jump up to get back inside before letting the ladder down for Matteo. She smiled seeing them come back with the drinks and at what Matteo was explaining about the bride's being in the kitchen. With the drinks passed out, she took hers, glad for it as she started drinking quickly stopping as Matteo made Charlie fall out the chair.. she had to force herself to swallow the drink in her mouth so she didn't choke and laughed at it all.

Seeing Chas looking a lot less worked up compared to the day before, told Kay that he was free of the weird dreams also which she was equally glad about for his sake but also curious that bit just one but both of them were the same. She felt incredibly well rested in this morning and less haunted by what was told to her, she just didn't realise that John was also thinking the same thing and wondering if it was all connected. She found herself raising one eyebrow in manner that just said 'really?' in the most sarcastic way she could muster. She smirked and chuckled at what John said back at Elliott and nodded at Elliott's reply. "That you can't, today is 'doting brother' day, not 'little shit' brother day" Kay replied with a smirk.

Charlie grabbed the nearest object to her (which happened to be some kind of bauble decorations) and threw them at Matteo who ducked and laughed. The laughter was infectious and it wasn't long before Rinaa and Moya were laughing along with, the winged girl trying not to fall out of her chair (and unlike Charlie succeeding). "You spend too much time talking with Benji, and he's far too interested in my personal life. And how many times do I have to say I'm not fucking my partner for you to get the message?" Charlie sighed in exasperation as Matteo just smirked smugly, he lived getting a rise out of Charlie when she was around as she was far easier to annoy than Cliff. "You can keep saying it, but until you find somebody, I'm gonna keep believing and bringing it up." "Well in that case, it's only fair if I bring up your hopeless crush to our eldest brother's attention."

Elliott nodded in agreement. Today was about Cal, and Cliff and the wonder of their live for each other. Cliff was somebody he did remember from his time on Attil, but as a twelve year old he really wants that interested in the sixteen year old girl that annoyed his sister. He didn't even remember that she was deaf, but that must have come up at some point. He was truly happy for Cal and was delighted that he got the opportunity to be at her big day. "Believe me, I intend to do just that along with being the only brother who doesn't make an arse of themselves at the wedding." "A sound plan indeed." "I would say the same applies to you John, but you already know that."

Fia watched Charlie throw the Christmas baubles at Matteo, only to miss due to Matteo quickly fucking out if the way and laughed. 'so this is another example of what it's like to hang out with friends' she thought to herself, laughing at the whole thing unfold and the chatter going along with it. She wouldn't say it out loud but she was on team Matteo in this instance as she knew if Elliott was very much single she'd be doing the exact same thing to attempt to get under his skin. She was the baby of her family after all like Matteo, so it'd only be natural for her to be the little shit out of them. Though when the whole little crush conversation came up, she rose an eyebrow, "Matteo has a crush on someone?" She asked.

Kay didn't think Elliott would be anything less to his sister, knowing he knew when to behave himself and when he could get away with being irritating. When Chas said about saying the same to John, she had to chuckle though, thinking it would have been so easy to say something else entirely. "There's plenty of people here who will no doubt make an ass out of themselves, us lot being like that isn't needed for once" she smirked, willingly including herself in that statement. "Anyway.. I need food before I'm moaned at for not eating" she declared, deciding she needed to head to the kitchen whilst remembering how hungry both her and John said they were, feeling like if Cliff didn't moan at her then John possibly would after his little comment earlier. She knew he wouldn't in public and he didn't usually, yet she really wouldn't mind if he did. In fact she'd probably be grateful for the tactful reminders to eat.
