• Jasmine Bermout •

It wasn't a surprise to Zander when Jasmine stiffened in her seat when Kat walked into the bus. When the Pandoran nodded in her direction and Jasmine gave a small wave and a smile, visibly relaxing in her seat. She had been unnecessarily more stressed out than usual, due to the Affiliation screenings and AW being so closely tied together. While the work load was divided among the prefects and presidents, Jasmine and Zander took care of most of the important documents and reports. She had burned a few midnight oils just to finish things up in time to be work-free for the trip and now she was simply exhausted.

"You should sleep. I'll wake you when you get there," Zander suggested. It sounded like a good idea, but the redhead was proud and she didn't want to let others see her vulnerable. Zander had shook his head at the absurdity of her refusal and tossed his blazer jacket over her head.

"There, now no one would know it's you so sleep," he said gruffly. If it weren't for the dark circles under Jasmine's eyes, he wouldn't have pushed further but even he knew when Jasmine was being unreasonable.

He may not have seen the appreciative smile on her lips when she fell into slumber, but he took her silence as a good sign. He lent her his shoulder when she fell asleep and anyone who looked at them in curiosity or suspicion was given a killer glare.

----

When the bus stopped, Jasmine was woken up and she stared confusedly at the jacket in her face for a second before remembering what had happened. Quickly taking it off and fixing her hair, she was mildly embarrassed that she had given into the temptation of napping but mumbled a thanks in Zander's general direction before getting off the bus. She was grateful she had good friends looking out for her. That was one thing she could thank the Goddess for.

"Is petting a stray cat and eating a skewer all at once an okay thing to do?"
Interactions: Ben Aster Aster & Lance Sasil Sasil

Even though the redhead didn't admit it, she was rather glad that this whole situation had resulted in her actually interacting with more people. Persephone Vandegraft was always the kind that preferred staying on her own, in peace, tranquility and any synonym to the word 'quiet'. There was also another reason she wasn't a big fan of befriending many people but she tried not to think about it. It would damper her mood and make her more quiet (if that was possible). As such, she couldn't help but give a small smile as she faced her phone's screen. Letting the others talk, she greeted another male named Bob before playing some music.

At the notion of Ben asking her what she was listening to, she pulled out an earbud before handing it to him as they listened to music throughout their ride.

♫♫♫♫♫
Feeling the slight jerk of the bus before it came to a complete stop, she looked outside the window before realising that they were stopping for a rather long break. She didn't mind at all. In fact, her behind was getting numb from sitting down.

She stuffed her phone back into her pocket before placing her earbuds back into her small backpack. At the sound of Ben's enthusiastic response, she nodded before making her way outside of the bus. As she did, she wondered what should she do first.

A simple checklist of sorts begin to form in her head.

1. Toilet.
2. Food.
3. Snacks for later-

At that moment, she noted a few cats lazing around the food stalls that were present. Some were seated obediently by people's feet, hoping for some food, others slept on chairs while many merely wandered around.

....4. Pat cats.

She wondered whether she would look crazy doing so. Imagine students busy eating their lunch while Persephone crouched close to the floor while she attempted befriending cats. Hm. At that moment, she caught Lance coming out of the bus and almost immediately, she went to his side before saying, "Let's get some food and other things."

There was nothing he could say about the situation other than the fact that he loved all his friends. Although it was known that Uriah did have his fair share of biases people he was close to as the Pandora President, he counted everyone as people he would protect and love forever. At the sight of Rob squeezing his way between Jack and himself, he could only smile widely before taking ahold of his best friend's phone. "Thanks, Rob," he said with great appreciation before calling out to Kaia, "Quick! Group selfie!"

When Kaia took her place next to Jack, Uriah instantly snapped the photo, knowing full well that his best friends were probably ready for it already. He didn't comment about Jack in the photo as he knew the male would look cute either way. After settling in and having had Rob squeezed firmly planted himself between them, Uriah send the pictures to himself.

-----
At the sound of the teacher announcing their break, Uriah Kershaw quickly got up from his seat before making his way out of the bus. After waiting for his Pandora members to get out of the bus, he turned to his right hand (wo)man before saying, "Maybe a Pandora task should be given considering this one hour time crunch."

He couldn't help but grin widely, knowing full well that his members would hate any task-idea he would suggest, considering they were all really bad ones. Not only did they need to have lunch fast in the sweltering heat as they rocked their onesies but they had to complete whatever ridiculous task their president was going to give them. That, or risk being hung up on the flag poles when they returned to Requiem Academy.

It was tyranny tough love at its best.

Curtis Aster Aster & Kaye Sasil Sasil || Bus > Harbour || "A snack with another snack."

The bus ride itself was a mix of noise and more noise. Her brother and his friends were acting like neanderthals. Half the bus was dressed in furry onesies of sorts and there was a large dog panting very hard at the back of the bus. What joy.

Though, she didn't complain much as Curtis- Mr sourpuss was seated next to her, albeit his obvious annoyance. That didn't seem to bother Usha though. He was going to be a tough one for sure but at least, for her first meeting, he seemed to have given up despite his protest. That was a Score One on Usha's board.

She would get back to him when he was in a better mood- if he ever will be.

She was grateful they had stopped at the harbour for a relatively long break. She was beginning to feel stuffy in that bus. The blonde wondered what she would do first. The obvious choice was to get some food so that she wouldn't be famished by the end of the day. Who knew what time they were going to eat next? As she made her way off the bus, she spotted a familiar feminine figure that was by herself. Kaye Nightingale was definitely really pretty.

It'll be good to have at least one friend here.

Making her way to the brunette, she linked her arm alongside Kaye's before giving a smile, "Wanna get some food together?" It was a rather funny sight to see. A female of small frame and rather short at that, attempting to flirt/ befriend/ take on students that were larger and taller than her in size.

Upon his friend's approval, Bennett had hopped out first and ushered his group towards the food stalls. The mouth-watering aromas were their guide and because of the many people at the bay, groups formed crowds around the food stations.

Unexpectedly, Bennett had lost Louis and his newfound friend Bob in the crowd, but was fortunate enough to find Persephone to stick by. Her red hair made her stand out, so it wasn't too hard to spy her from the masses.

"Looks like we got separated," Bennett frowned, rubbing the back of his head. He was sad that they were and worried about leaving his friends on their own. He could only hope they had each other.

"I'm sure they'll be fine," Persephone said, seeing the distress on the male's face. She gave a light pat to his shoulder as comfort and suggested they get food. "Maybe we'll run into them again."

Bennett cheered considerably at that and nodded, "You're right. Let's get some of those bbq sticks! They look amazing." He grinned, pointing at the stall that was grilling yakitoris. His wallet was kept in the pouch of his onesie and it unzipped like a kangaroo pouch. Two sticks of meat were bought and one grilled corn on the cob.

After getting their food, Bennett decided to look for a place to sit so they could eat in peace. There were benches lined near the bay, though most of them were taken. On the opposite side, away from the ocean was a small park with trees. Not too far from there was the parking lot where the buses and cars were parked. Seeing how most of the benches were taken, Bennett proposed they sat in the shade of the tree.

"Like a picnic," he said, walking over with Persephone. He overhears Uriah talking to Kaia and Rob about a new impromptu task. Instead of feeling dread like most, Bennett perks in curiosity.

"What task?" he interrupts, asking with a puppy grin.

To be honest, the redhead had no qualms having lunch with just anyone, as long as they weren't too loud and civil. However, a small part of her was hoping that Lance (someone who somehow always put up with her unusual endeavour) would have accompanied her to pat observe a few of the felines who were scattered around at the rest area. Persephone figured that Ben would prefer interacting with more individuals or go looking for the rest of his friends. She didn't mind but....cats. The redhead merely nodded when the both of them made their way to have their lunch under a tree.

She had gotten two custard buns and she was determined to savour its flavour slowly. Removing the cellophane tape from the plastic sheet, she was about to slip the bun out when her attention was brought back to Ben speaking to another male individual. She looked up to find the president of Pandora alongside a few other students, other Pandorans probably. At the topic a task, the redhead somehow felt a shiver run down her spine before focusing back to her food.

On the other hand, the blond male gave his junior a big grin before making his way to sit between Ben and Persephone, wrapping an arm around the younger male's shoulder before saying, "You're always the most eager, my dear Ben. I love that so much about you." He then rested his head against the male's shoulder before extending his hand out into the open as though he was about to bestow a life's philosophy to him.

"What do you see, Ben?" the Pandoran president asked as they begin to survey the sight before them. Buses, people, more buses and more people. Not to mention, lazy and suspiciously fat cats.

Uriah Kershaw then sat up before saying, "Our educational task for today is that every Pandora student has to bring abroad at least one cat into their respective buses without getting noticed by the teachers or the bus drivers," before giving him a thumbs up and continuing, "if even one of us get caught, well, everyone knows the drill. My favourite punishment."

Cecelia had only managed to smile twice today.

One for a cheesy delivery of a predictable one-liner by Kat, which she couldn’t control. Because Kat? Kat being the first one of all people, and she half braced herself for nothing. Of course Cece would gladly take it from her than anyone else, it sounded the most like a compliment. Another is to appease a passing chaos spirit, her President, Uriah Kershaw. She nodded at the cute comment but she felt her chest shrivelling downwards and her fingers turning stiff.

“Thanks.”

And taking her seniors words in a breath, she embraced the fox. She is the fox. Cece pasted the stickers on her cheeks like makeshift golden blushes. By the time they retire for the night they’d probably end up soaking wet and peeled away. Though knowing Uriah, maybe she’ll get extra points for it.

“Including these? Four, I think?” Cece answered, pressing them absentmindedly. She hasn’t thought much about the reward behind the stickers, she’s not exactly one for fun executive orders. If anything, she would probably do Kat a favour.

Cece watched as Kat greeted people she knew on the bus. She only followed suit with a nod. But Jasmine gets a smile. Oh, these two. Cece rubbed on Kat’s shoulder as she sat down next to her.

“Of course,” she answered, grinning from the fire in her palm. “I’m always ready for an explosion.”

Cece is looking forward to the Portan more than she did the volleyball competition. She hasn’t played too many sports, but some practices and encouraging pointers at least the game would probably go well.

***

When they both got off the bus, Cece peered up at the sun and cursed it. She’s already feeling a little fidgety and sweaty, fixing her fox ears as if she had it all her life. It wouldn't get worse than this. Pray to the goddess that as soon as they reached the beach she would be free to take a dip.

“Look Kat, it’s your people.” She gestured out to the wandering kitties. Every single one was adorable! Another even looked like a carbon copy of Kat’s onesie.

"Come on, let's get some food!" Cece said and pulled her senior by the hand. And food they did get, the brunette had bought a cheese flatbread for herself. As they were about to pick out a bench to sit on, she caught sight of the President's trio talking to freshman Bennett and redhead Persephone. She halted and glanced at Kat, an uneasy feeling coming from her gut though at the same time an unexplained giddiness. They could avoid him altogether and go the other way, but they'd be inevitably roped back in.

Especially since the Vice President probably needed to know what nefarious plots Uriah is conceiving. Conceiving as in a baby-- his plots are his misbehaved babies and everyone else in Pandora is basically the underpaid babysitters running around putting out the fires.

Cece would feel more confident if Kat took the next step.

“I would personally say Genesis.” she shrugged. Honestly, Lily would support any team that was winning. On whatever spot and in whatever competition, she’ll be cheering for both sides.

“I don’t know. I had a look at their practices and I think they stand a chance.”

Lily gasped, “I love corn.”

She could smell the caramelised sweetness just waiting for her at that food stall.

Lily ran ahead with a spring in her step, looking back at Ophelia and grinned. But as she reached the stand and looked at the board where prices were written, she faltered.

She mostly kept her earnings away in a bank but carried some spare gold around. Though she doubted she could even afford one skewer.

Digging through her pockets she pulled out two pieces, half of what she needed. Maybe Ophelia could spare some. So when the blonde had caught up to her, Lily asked, “Hey, you wanna share? I’ve only got this much.”

The bus ride bore many similarities to a Pandora student: it was noisy, chaotic, and anything but smooth. On top of that, with so many students in the bus and the sun beating down on them, the bus was hot despite all the windows being down. Kat tried to make the best of it, participating in casual conversation with Cece and occasionally shouting at one of the Pandoran underclassmen to knock off some of their more obnoxious behaviors. For the most part, she didn't care what her affiliation members did because it was in their very nature to behave this way. She only made them reign it in when it affected her specifically, or someone she didn't want them bothering, like Jasmine. They, of course, were quick to blurt out half-hearted apologies and stop whatever they'd been doing, which, in this case, was squirting each other with water bottles in an effort to cool down a bit. Kat would have been fine with it had she not gotten caught in the crossfire - her arm was now wet, but she hardly cared. It was cooling. The Vice President was incredibly grateful when she felt their bus slow down. Had they arrived already? Thank the Goddess. The teachers quickly announced that they had an hour for lunch. This made Kat's heart sink a bit as she was hoping that they were done being on this Goddess-forsaken bus. Whatever. She'd gladly take the hour long break. The smell of food cooking around them wafted into the bus and made Kat realize that she was starving. Had she forgotten to eat breakfast? She couldn't quite remember, but she was definitely ready for lunch.

Once she and Cece exited the bus, she hung back and waited for the other Pandorans to exit, wanting to make sure everyone got out smoothly. After that, they were on their own. She would like to think that her affiliation members wouldn't cause trouble in their little pit stop town, but she knew better than to underestimate them. When Cecelia mentioned Kat's people, the brunette titled her head, turning her gaze to where the other girl's attention was. She cracked a smile at the precious sight: a group of small cats hanging around by their bus stop. She guessed these felines were smbeart and often hung around places where tourists would enter the city, places where there would be people who would fall under their spell and feed them. The academy students were no exception. Her eyes fell on one that peered around at them from behind a bench, a few feet from the rest of the group. He looked exactly like the onesie she was wearing. She aww'ed, internally of course. These younger students wouldn't catch her acting soft, especially not the ones who weren't even from her affiliation. She had a certain reputation to maintain as a Vice President.

At the mention of food, Kat nodded in agreement. "Good idea," she said, allowing Cecelia to lead her away. There were shops of every kind. The food varied from cheap, greasy food on a stick sold at food carts to lavish, expensive full course meals at beautiful restaurants. Kat's budget only allowed for the former. The aroma of food was mouthwatering and it wasn't long before Kat found what she wanted: a food truck that sold gyros. She ordered one gyro, which came wrapped in aluminum foil. She took one bite as soon as she got it, then, whilst chewing, looked around for a bench for her and her friend. Unfortunately, she soon locked eyes with Uriah. There was no escaping it. "We'd better check on what he's up to."

Katerina walked briskly towards the group that was forming. She was within an earshot when she heard the words 'educational task'. He had to be kidding. She arrived just in time to announce that they'd each have to sneak a cat on board the bus. She raised an eyebrow, skeptical about his plan here. "And what do we do with them after that? Leave them at the beach? Take them back to the school?" They'd also have to spread the word to the rest of the Pandora students. The task itself wasn't too difficult. She had never tried to catch a cat, but these local ones seemed so used to tourists that she doubted they'd run or struggle if she picked one up. They had had more difficult tasks in the past; this was child's play. Getting them onto the bus would be the hardest part, only because some of the newer recruits had no experience sneaking things places they weren't supposed to be. It was a skill that they'd have to work on, one that was essential to being a Pandora member.

"I guess we should spread the news and get started," Kat said, before turning to Cece. "I want the kitten that looks just like me," she said, remembering the one that was hanging around the bus stop. "Do you have any preferences?"

Kat started walking away from the group, expecting Cece to come along. They had a task to complete. She took another bite out of her gyro and looked around, trying to find Pandora members to inform them of their task whilst also keeping an eye out for her kitten.

It was sort of heartwarming to be offered a place to crash by Ajax. Kai knew how much his friend valued sleeping, yet he would allow Kai to come by his dorm regardless. He knew it was an exclusive privilege he had. He would have thanked the blonde had it not been for the abrupt disturbance towards the back of the bus. He sighed and shook his head, not having to ask who it was. The Pandora students were always causing a commotion. They didn't seem to care that there were other people on the bus, people who didn't enjoy all the chaos they inevitably brought with them. Why hadn't they just separated the buses by affiliation? It would've made things much easier. But, then again, he doubted any one teacher or bus driver wanted to be in a bus full of Pandora students. By diluting them with the other affiliations, they were less chaotic than they would be if they were concentrated in one vehicle. His curiosity got the best of him and he turned around in time to see Jack getting harassed. He raised an eyebrow, wondering what it was that was going on. Jack was one of the better Pandora students, he thought, yet the boy was still getting mixed up with all that trouble. Kai turned his attention back to Ajax and flashed a proud smile at the boy. "How many days have the new students been here?" The numbers were roughly equal. Each day, he'd charmed at least one of them and they'd fallen under his spell. There were some days where he'd manage to get two, one after the other, so his number was a little higher. He couldn't help himself; it was so easy. He hadn't necessarily taken them all to bed - though he guessed he could have - but he had, in some capacity, messed around with them. This sort of thing happened every year. Hey, it gave the new recruits something in common that they could talk about.

Before too long, the bus came to a halt at a town that seemed to have a great deal of food. Kai was relieved to finally get some fresh air. He stepped out of the bus and took a few steps out towards the entrance of the city, where food shops lined the street. He turned to Ajax and ran his fingers through his hair. "So, do you want to buy food? Or should we eat the sandwiches?" One option cost money and the other didn't, but the food did smell so good. "Or I could try to get one of the vendors to give us some food for free," he offered. He wasn't sure if he was allowed to use his anima in the city, but he could probably get it without his anima, if he tried hard enough. Of course, he preferred using his anima, so maybe he could do that, as long as he didn't get caught. He did have some cash with him, but he had wanted to get some sort of souvenir from the beach town. The dark haired boy watched as some of the new recruits, buzzing with excitement, ran past them, wanting to explore their options at the pit stop. He thought back to his first outing with the school, remembering how enthusiastic he had been to be a part of it. Unfortunately, he had soon found out that his powers weren't exactly suited for combating tenebrae. The arcane student had come a long way since then. He knew his role in these endeavors: he was someone who gathered information so the fighters could do better. Sure, he could fight - he had been working on his combat skills - but it just wasn't quite what his anima was suited for.

"I bet those Pandora recruits are regretting their decision now," he mused, watching the onesie-clad students pass by, "they must be cooking in those animal costumes." He was sure that the new Syndicate members were going to be grateful that they made the right decision now, especially if Uriah was going to send them on one of those stupid missions. Goddess, he hoped that wouldn't happen. He had grown tired of seeing Pandora students hanging naked. How anyone could enjoy being in that affiliation was something he could never figure out. To each their own, he thought. He also spotted Persephone and Lance walking together. "Oye, Ajax, do you think those two are a pair?" he asked his friend. He knew the two were friends, but he could never quite tell if that was all they were as he was never particularly close with Seph. He couldn't quite understand how, of all people, their quite little Seph would be spending time around that Pandora guy. Maybe she had some other surprises.

All of the sudden, Malachai felt something brush up against his leg. He looked down and saw a small feline, a black cat with white feet. "Oh, look," he said, before bending down and giving the cat a little pet. He was rewarded with a purr. He opened his bag and took out one of the sandwiches. He ripped off the corner and held it out to the animal, which took the food with pleasure. Cats had always been his favorite animal. He gave the cat a final pet before looking back to Ajax. "We should make our way down," he said, motioning for Ajax to enter the city with him. However, as he walked, the white footed animal followed them. He flashed a smile at the Syndicate President. "Well, I guess we have a friend," he said with a small shrug.

Bennett had unfortunately failed to catch Persephone's longing glances at the lazy felines found in the vicinity and beamed in childish glee at Uriah's praise and verbal affection. The mission however, made his face fell in thoughtful ponder. He's dealt with various animals before due to his upbringing at the farm. Pigs, sheep, cows, chickens. He's even owned a dog which is still kept back in Baile. But cats?

He's never dealt with cats before and was already thinking of a plan to smuggle the feline on the bus. Maybe he could shove one into the pocket of his elephant onesie. It should be big enough to fit the furry creature, though the bump caused would be very conspicuous.

"Alright," Bennett says, eyes burning with determination, "I'll try my best!"

A fist is clenched and his food lays untouched as he gets up to capture whatever feline he can get his hands on. Before he leaves to do so, he wonders aloud, "Do you think they'd get carsick?"

• Ophelia Sinclair •
Ophelia hadn't expected to get caught up in the brunette's flow. The fact that she had ended up following the female for their lunch break piqued her but seeing as how she had nothing better to do (No one to torment. Kai was with Ajax, Caelan was probably running errands for Genesis like the whipped slave prefect he was and Persephone had gotten off an entirely different bus.) she pushed her annoyances aside. She had yet to figure out who Lily was and challenged herself silently and noncommittally in finding out which affiliation she was assigned in.

The offer to share food was instant denial. While she had no qualms in sharing her food with others (so long as she hasn't touched it yet), the idea of someone eating something which she had touched and ate made her sickened. Disgust curdle but a grimace was held back as Lily's actions were explained at the lack of change produce.

"Oh," Ophelia said, face darkening into something akin to pity for the briefest moment---so brief that one could mistake it as a trick of light---before softening into a smile, "It's alright. Lunch will be on me."

Ophelia offered, closing the girl's hand. She ordered two corn on the cobs, both of them for Lily and a plate of takoyaki balls for herself.

"If there's anything else you want, just let me know," Ophelia said, grateful that she was born a noble. Being rich certainly had its perks. To put some ease on the girl's conscience, she added with a smile, "You can pay me back with your company."

Or your life, she thought, knowing now that she had an extra pawn to rely on. She could always use this moment to manipulate Lily into helping her, should she ever need to.

"It's alright. Lunch will be on me."

"Hm? No, that's not necess-" but before she could protest anymore the blonde went ahead and bought her not one, but two roasted corn and suddenly her voice fell silent, afraid of taking back such a kind and generous offer. But her hands were still reluctant to pocket back her gold. She was guilty while Ophelia has provided her with even more than she needed.

"Thank you." she said, bowing slightly.

She took the two sticks in her hands and held them together, closing her eyes in a small prayer. She could always give one for Danu, but unfortunately her shrine is non portable and still in her room miles away so she does it in intentions and spirit instead.

"If there's anything else you want, just let me know. You can pay me back with your company."

Pay her back? Lily couldn't help but think it's a bit of an unfair exchange, if she wants to properly make friends with this girl she should properly return the favour. The brunette settled that given the chance, she would also treat Ophelia to food. Though perhaps she could give a pleasant surprise.

Danu doesn't encourage debts-- she shouldn't owe anything, great or small, to anyone.

"I couldn't ask for more." she chirped and smiled wide.

Lily took a seat on one of the benches, looking back to the distance left on the beach and around them to those kids in onesies playing around with kitties. One of the felines strutted its way between their legs and she paused from munching to pet it. She scrubbed off some of the cleaner parts of her uneaten corn on the ground where it eats contently.

She peered over to Ophelia eating her... 'takoyaki' balls. She hasn't seen these before at any vendor in Tref. Is it a popular street food here in the city?

"These are takoyaki's right?" she asked. "What's in them?"

Bobbi Brown
Three

Location: Bus --> Harbour
Sleep scale: 1

The key for not waking up late, was to not sleep at all. A handy trick that probably wasn't approved by medical professionals. Or anyone with common sense. For her lack of it, Bobbi was surprisingly fine, though she had long figured out that she was hardly the norm in that particular area. She had been up finishing off the rest of her paperwork - the start of the year always brought more, especially with the affiliations and the more restless students not yet settled, and she had admittedly been putting off a lot of it in favour of quests, struck by a sudden urge to leave the academy. Anyway it was all done now and she was more than ready for a relaxing trip to the beach.

Settling into a cozy window seat, she observed the crowd of students milling around the buses, chuckling to herself when she saw Jasmine trying to organise her younger affiliates onto another bus. A grumble alerted her to the presence of Jensen, sinking into the seat beside her with a scowl and bemoaning a headache. She laughed, patting his shoulder sympathetically. "Don't worry, friend. I've got your back," she says, seeing her friend wince in pain when the particularly rowdy group a couple rows rows back let out yet another chorus of racous laughter and high pitched shrieks. Bobbi taps her sleeve, regalia snugly wrapped around her arm under the soft material, and winks.

-----

The bus pulls up by the harbour and their fellow bus mates seem to liven up immediately after getting away from the sleepy atmosphere of the bus, some stopping to stretch out and others racing off with their friends the moment they step on ground. "Come on!" she turns to Jensen with a grin, pulling him out of his seats and all but pushing him off the vehicle to his amusement. She breathes in the fresh air happily before the delicious smell of food hits her nose and she's dragging him once again, this time in the direction of the food stalls. There's only so much she can hold in two hands afterall.

They sit on a bench, munching happily on their food, trading bites every so often. Jens has gone for a good old fashioned burrito while she has in her hands some sort of potato, cut so that it wraps around a stick in thin curls. Deep fried and full of seasoning, it's probably essentially just a chip. A whole heap of cats lay at their feet and sprawled around them that she pets every once in a while, cooing over them. Cats always seemed to like the combination of the two of them together. Bobbi thinks it's because Jensen is like a portable sun with how warm he is and she's lazy like them. The scraps of meat they toss them from the other foods they bought also help.

"There." Jensen says, pointing. They're picking out Pandora affiliates, making a game of who can spot a specific animal first. Bobbi pouts, knowing she's losing even if all Jens does is smirk at her, only a hint of smugness. "Your turn," he says. "No cheating!" When it becomes evident that she's scanning for costumes before picking an animal. They're arguing if a warthog is the same as a pig when the pandora in question suddenly starts walking towards them, a meerkat in tow. They seem to be arguing, whispering among themselves, pushing each other forward. Jensen raises an eyebrow at her.

"Excuse me," the meerkat says, glaring over her shoulder at the warthog who stands a little behind her, looking as if she's not part of the conversation. "Could I-" A nudge from a warthog that earns him a glare. "Could we borrow those two cats from you?" She points at two that are fast asleep on the floor by her feet. Bobbi frowns and is about to ask why when a penguin shows up and shoos them away, telling them not to bother the nice elite lady.

"Miss Brown." The penguin says with a mischievous grin and an over the top bow.
"Mr Daze." She replies, amused. "To what do I owe this pleasure." The grin widens.
"I have a proposition for you."

"I don't know," Rob said cheerfully as his favourite new Pandora asked if cats got carsick. "But you should probably pack a plastic bag or something just in case." He ruffled Bennetts hair playfully before pausing as an idea hit him. "Be right back," he said to his two best friends, darting into the crowd. Two other Pandora seemed to have got the same idea as him, but he shooed them away, cutting in front of them. Dealing with Elite was a tough line to tread, but he liked to think he had figured out which ones would rat him out at this point.

Ten minutes later and he was walking away, sulking just a little because Bobbi wouldn't help him out with his latest money making scheme. Something about 'what happens after that', 'I don't think you thought this through' and 'don't you dare take any kittens'. The biggest flaw about Bobbi Brown was that she was rich so he couldn't even tempt her with money or a 50-50 split. She did however, give him a cat which was now slumbering in the the hood of his onesie because otherwise he might murder one trying to get it to like him and 'this one's a bit of a dick, just like you'. Oh well. It was beach day, so he couldn't really be unhappy for long. He was looking around for his friends, when he spotted someone that made him perk up once again. A certain broody boy he hadn't seen in ages.

With an exclamation that sounded vaguely like 'Puppy!' he popped up in front of Curtis, trying to startle him. He did succeed in startling the cat in his hood, judging by the sudden shifting, but it seemed to settle down again. Well, as long as it didn't pee in there. "Hey man. Let's get some food, it's on me." Rob said, trying to steer him down towards the stalls. He was sure Uriah and Kaia would already be there. "I haven't seen you around my place in while, too boring for you?" He joked.

"Hm?" Ophelia prodded one of the takoyaki balls with her wooden fork, opening it up to release the heat thats inside it. It was still somewhat gooey because of how fresh it was and while most liked to let it melt in their mouths, Ophelia preferred it when it was cool so that it became more chewy.

"Octopus," she replied, offering one to Lily. She nabbed an extra wooden fork, not wanting to share saliva with just anyone, and handed it to the brunette. She had four on the plate and she really didn't need to eat all of them. Her appetite was small but only because she was raised to eat very little in front of others.

It was hard to refuse the blonde, especially since she had already stabbed a ball and was handing one to Lily. Her hands would remain occupy too unless Lily chooses to take it. Only once she did, does Ophelia continue on with her meal. The cats nearby seemed to put her in a darker mood, particularly when they came close to her.

She hated fur more than anything and would've gladly kicked the animal away with others weren't there to witness it. So she silently held her tongue and pointedly ignore the felines until it was time to go, thinking she'd find sanctuary in the bus.

Boy was she wrong.

Jasmine couldn't have asked for a better right hand man than Zander. She'd rarely voice this out and never would anyone have expected the rowdy male to grow up to be someone so dependable. She was grateful to him in more ways than one. It was because of Zander that the redhead managed to get a few much needed Z's before they reached the beach house they were called to stay at; and it was also his doing that she had some privacy for once.

While Zander kept an eye on wandering Genesis members, Jasmine was excused for some alone time to stretch her legs, maybe get a bite to eat. She wasn't particularly hungry and would rather wait for dinner so she wandered around, noting the cats which loitered the area. One particular cat seemed to be chased by a familiar cat onesie. Looking closer, Jasmine found that it was actually Kat and she blinked in confusion when the girl picked up the feline in a fashioned, "gotcha".

Her brows were raised in silent question as she approached the girl, gesturing to the cat. Her lips twitched upwards in a rare dry grin.

"Let me guess," she started, a hand resting on a hip, "Uriah put you guys up to it?"

Somehow she wasn't surprised.

Having another blonde spring up on him was really starting to put a grate on his nerves. First it had been the new girl, Usha and now Rob. Curtis couldn't help but pointedly sigh but the offer of free food had him shrugging. He didn't have much to lose in hanging out with Rob except maybe his dignity.

He cocked a brow when the Pandoran prefect brought up "his" place. He assumed he was referring to the underground casino. A hazy secretive place filled with illegal activities (not that illegal though, he thinks, grateful that no one would be killing anyone over goods) which Curtis had stumbled upon early in his second year. Thinking back, it has been a while since he last visited. After recently withdrawing from his Vice-President seat in Syndicate, Curtis had his hands full.

"Ah, nah," Curtis shrugged, ordering a sizzling sausage from a stall. The meat was sandwiched between a hotdog bun and handed to him on a napkin, which Curtis appreciated more than plainly eating the meat on a stick. "I've been busy but I take profits are going well if you're able to treat me," he mused, lips quirked in that snarky half grin.

If Khione thought she was stressed during the bus ride, it was nothing compared to the aneurysm she was having when they stopped for break. She had half-expected Rex to be left on the bus, which would give Khione a short moment of peace because like the students, the teachers had also gone down for a break. What she didn't expect was that Octavius would be dumb or bold enough to bring Rex down in front of everyone else! She was grateful that they were the last ones off the bus so they weren't caught... yet.

But seeing the golden retriever at the harbor area was so out of place that it didn't help reduce her shortening life span.

"Tavi! Are you sure this is a good idea?" she hissed, whispering into her friend's ear when he crouched down low enough to hear her. She rapidly gestured at Rex who was sitting contently as though sunbathing. "What if he gets caught?" she asked, nervously looking around for any teachers.

Thankfully, Rex was sitting still but not for long. When she looked back at where Rex was, he had disappeared. Her panic spiked as she looked around, spotting Rex running off to chase a few cats.

An inhumane scream wretched from her body as she quickly notified Tavi.

Uriah Kershaw couldn't help but smile at Ben's passion or rather, determination to capture a feline. As suspected by the blond, the brunet did not even question his wonderful ridiculous task. It could be because he was the president of Pandora and who knows what other 'punishments' he had up his sleeves but the younger Pandoran didn't seem as though he was going to undertake the task begrudgingly or with fear.

"Hmmm, good question," the Pandora president wondered as he wrecked through his brain for any piece of information that might answer the question. Finding none, he gave up before shrugging almost too nonchalantly before giving a sheepish smile, "I guess we'll find out later."

"Though, don't waste your food, Ben." He said before handing the male his food. Uriah then stood up before approaching his vice president and a fellow member of his.

Wrapping his arm around both of their shoulders respectively, Cece on his left while Kat on his right, he said, "You know, not all great plans are worked out thoroughly."

He then grinned widely before gesturing to the three of his Pandora members to the clowder of cats that were scattered everywhere in front of them. There were easily thirty of them if someone bothered to count. Uriah then rolled up the sleeves to his snake onesie, "Let's catch us some cats."

Sometimes Octavius wondered whether Khione's tendency to be a worrywart was limiting herself from accomplishing certain tasks or in short, have fun. He couldn't help but worry as throughout the bus ride, the female would nervously glance at the teacher who was chaperoning their bus before glancing down at Rex and then proceeding to look at the male and his other Elite Ten member. She seemed to have been wanting to say something throughout the whole ride but everytime she was about to open her mouth, she closed it before humming to herself lightly. Was something wrong?

After getting off the bus with Rex leashed, the four of them (including his Golden Retriever) made their way to the food stalls to get their food. Rex received many praises from, who the brunet assumed were either locals or travellers like them, many individuals who were too, resting. Some of the food vendors even stepped out of their stalls to give his dog a pat on the head. One even gave him a small piece of chicken as treat. As such, when the three Elite Ten members took a seat and were savouring their food, Octavius couldn't help but look questioningly at Khione as she asked whether the situation was okay.

He looked down to see Rex sunbathing before replying, "Yeah, Khione. Don't worry, Rex's leash is loose so he won't get caught." He gave her a small nod before returning back to his sandwich, just as he was about to take a bite, a scream from the female seated across him surprised him, almost making him drop his sandwich. And just as he was surprised, the flock of Mynah birds that were pecking away on the scraps of food leftover on the ground, flew away too at the sudden outburst. A few cats even awoken from their slumber at Khione's scream.

"What? Is everything-" Before he could even ask her whether she was alright, she gestured to Rex chasing away a few stray cats. Some hissed at his dog, others merely ran away but a few remained laid down on the green grass.

"Oh," Octavius replied, although his facial expression didn't register his understanding, he then said, "don't worry. Rex won't harm them. He likes playing with other animals since he isn't around them a lot." As he said that, Octavius couldn't help but pride himself at how Khione had grown to worry so much about Rex from the time she met him until now, not at all picking up her worries about getting caught by their teachers.

This is not a very thoughtful plan but since when was Uriah the god of thoughtful plans? Failure and success is all the path to fun and consequence-less chaos. It is the vessel of Pandora's philosophy the way their current president interprets it while Cece, unlike some of the members, hung from the back of the car instead of sitting inside.

She swallowed the last of her flatbread as Kat asked, "Do you have any preferences?"

Between hiding the cat probably in her onesie and surviving the trip down to the beach Cece would prefer a tiny one— not a kitten of course, that poor thing would be scarred and traumatised out of its life— one that is calm, sleepy is a bonus, she wouldn't have to endure any accidental or intentional justified scratching.

"I'll just pick one up."

She parted ways with both Kat and Uriah to hunt down their targets as well as whispering the announcement under the gazes of the other students. The brunette can't help but think that this is all set up to have at least one person hanging upside down butt naked serving their sentence. It's an affiliation wide task and the odds are stacked against them.

They need a distraction; Cece could always start a fire since her regalia sat inside one of her pockets though far too dangerous especially with the people congregating at the pit stop— a scream pierced the hot air and... is that barking? A golden retriever is running around without a care in the world, catching some tourists off guard as it gave chase to some of the cats. Looks like it's time to capitalise on this development.

Cece scooped up one of the cats in the dog's way under the guise that she's saving it, at the same time setting it inside her onesie and holding it up like a baby or just some extra fat on her chest before scurrying onto the bus. She spied through the window and tried to calm down the feline by catching her breath, ignoring anyone who had arrived first in hopes that they too would be more focused on the dog.

"It's not that..." Khione replied, making flustered hand gestures to fill in for the words she couldn't convey. Distressed, the small elite bit back the desire to scream when she heard Rex barking---attracting clear attention to itself. It wouldn't be long until the teachers caught wind of the dog and so Khione made a quick run after the animal, choosing instead to take matters into her own hands.

She couldn't understand how people like Octavius could be so calm about the situation! Though... most of her peers could not relate. It wasn't strange to see an elite abuse their status for special privileges. Being an elite granted one special rights, allowing them to operate almost as complete independent entities in the school. The collective decision of the student council can sometimes even outride a teacher's decision.

But Khione had always been a stickler for rules. Breaking them made her feel extremely antsy from guilt, thus leading her to do even the menial tasks most elites choose to skip out on.

Chasing Rex and ensuring that he stays under the radar was one of them.

She was out of breath by the time she finally caught up to the dog, grabbing the large golden retriever by his collar.

"You, you rascal," she huffed in-between pants, "Let's get you back to Tavi and the bus okay?"

Her voice was not harsh but reproachful enough for the dog's ears to go slack against his head in understanding shame. Khione was more than relieved when Rex willingly obeyed, following her back to Tavi. She failed to miss the amused confusion in the dog's eyes as Rex wondered why the girl was moving so funnily. Maybe it's a game, it thought, as Khione hid behind a telephone pole to avoid a teacher.

By the time they were back to Tavi, Khione was pretty much spent with their break and wanted to go back on the bus. Her empty stomach can wait until dinner time. With the amount of stress she was under, she doubted she could stomach any food now.

"Can we go back to the bus? Please?"

"Rex is a good boy, Khione. He won't cause any trouble for us."

Octavius couldn't help but try to reassure the smaller-framed female as he dug into his sandwich once again. It might seem like a small feat for Khione but the larger male couldn't help but wonder why she was so stressed out for the whole situation. It couldn't just be because she was worried about Rex causing actual trouble, could she? His Golden Retriever has been living with him in his dorms for a few years now and hasn't gotten into any trouble of sorts, maybe that one time he tried to eat Seb but that was ancient history.

The brunet couldn't help but sigh as he took another big bite of his meal. "Alright, I'll go and-" before he could even suggest grabbing ahold of Rex after their meal, Khione was already up and out of her seat, dragging his dog towards their table as the female begin to pant similarly to Rex himself.

"Rex, down." The male commanded the dog who obligingly flopped its behind onto the ground as it looked up to its owner with its tongue out, huffing. It almost looked like the Golden Retriever was smiling up at Khione and Octavius as its tail begin to wag uncontrollably under its seated behind. The male took the dog's leash from the female before standing up.

"Why are you so worried, Khione? Are you sure you're alright?" The male out of genuine concern, his dense self being oblivious to her obvious panic attacks concerning the dog. He wondered whether they should go for a walk or something. Just as he figured so, the Golden Retriever begin to bark at the felines who were inching closer to them, curious as to why there was a cat that was five times their size near humans and why was it making a funny 'meow'.

"You wanna hold onto Rex?" The male asked Khione, figuring maybe she'd be less stressed out by doing so.

While Curtis had decided not to engage in the chit chat that Kaye had tried to start she pushed it off not letting it bother her in the slightest. He had things to think about, or perhaps he was annoyed about something. Part of her thought, perhaps, she had said something to make him think this. Kaye pondered it in the back of her mind the ride there, listening to the excited noise from behind the bus. She saw her sister excitedly hanging with her friends--probably being one of the loudest of the groups. But that was Kaia, Kaye would never change her sister for anything.

When they came to a stop Kaye waited her turn before exciting off the bus in a slow pace. Checking her list once her feet hit the sand ground. Her excitement returning the moment the sun hit her freckled face. Yes, this was going to be a good day. Nothing could change that, Kaye would make sure of it.

Taking a pen out of her pocket, on with a little sunflower on the top of it, she took a look down her list. When her eyes came to ride bus to the harbor with a small box beside it, she quickly checked it off. One thing done the rest to go.

But what should she tackle first? Swimming was definitely at the top of her list but also she wanted to find some time to go for a walk maybe sketch the beach and her friends having fun. Finding shells would also be a lot of fun.

Decisions decisions.

A sudden growl from close by made her look up.

A small blush appeared on her cheeks, even if no one was around or paying attention. Getting something to eat would have to be at the top of the list she supposed.

Like it was fated to happen a familiar voice came next to her, linking arms with the dark haired female. “Usha.” Kaye smiled looking slightly down to the short girl. “I was just thinking of getting some food. What you in the mood for? I was thinking ice cream.” She admitted, putting her list away in her side bag. “I know technically it isn’t food but this is the beach...What would a beach trip be without some hard ice cream?” she admitted shyly.
