Age: Roughly 19 in Earthen years

Parents: Kal'Oran and Kal'Jula

Gender: Female

Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual

History: Aya was once a native of Aurialas VII, a vast, expansive planet with three suns and harsh elements. The Aurelians once had an impressive culture, very similar to that of Earth's Egypt, capable of dwelling in the barren stone they called home. Long before that, however, the Aurelians were space-fairing voyagers attempting to escape the end of their own planet. Nearing one of the suns in their same solar system, a handful of hopeful survivors leaped two rocks over from Aurialas V to Aurialas VII, but in doing so lost a large portion of their populace and technological advancement. What they gained was a new chance at life and for nearly a thousand years (well over that if measured by Earth), they successfully seized that chance in on their new planet.

The abilities of the Aurelians are no mistake, however, on their planet, their atmosphere results in a regular red flame. To some degree, all Aurelians have some degree of natural pyromancy in addition to their hearty builds and heat resistance. It was this trait that pushed them to the next, far more unfortunate era, in Aurelian history. The Quarter War, called that as it lasted two-hundred fifty Aurelian years (roughly 400 Earth cycles), brought forth a foreign invader to Aurelian VII: the Nolakai. A nomadic people of the same system that captured exotic animals to sell and enslaved lesser races for the same reason. The Aurelians were of a particularly high demand due to their innate abilities and the ease of controlling them: subdue them in the cold. Made into soldiers of war or in some cases subdued into objects of sex, the race of survivors spent far too long being the prey of the Nolakai.

Aya started here. She was too young to remember much of her home planet, but her paperwork claimed her to be born there. She would have sold for a high bid, but the Lantern Corp intervened before the Nolakai could sell her to the remote reaches of the galaxy. Instead, she was kept as a prisoner of war for nearly a decade. Kept primarily for the Nolakai to barter with. They had millions of species from various planets; far more than the Lantern Corp could effectively force them to hand over; and, some from dead races or dead planets. Thus, Aya grew up in captivity among harsh captors. She adjusted to life as a slave; and, at one point, believed she would never be anything but. Until, eventually, the Lantern Corp pushed her through processing. A prisoner of war set free, sure, but not back to Aurelian VII. That sector wasn't under Green Lantern authority and a return could not be negotiated. Instead, she and 326 other Aurelians were sent to Earth on the good will of Milo Chandler, accepted additionally by Waller and planted in Star City as a testament of good faith to the Guardians and their alliance.

Personality: Sweet, naive, courageous, and adventurous.

Abilities: She's called Inferna for a reason. Her regular pyrokinetic fire turns green in the earth's atmosphere, giving her green flames to control. She can also teleport very short distances, signaled by a green flash and a distinct snapping sound, like an extremely loud clap and the closing of a pair of scissors simultaneously. She has a highly heat resistant body, allowing her last longer in desert-like conditions.

Weaknesses: Mainly, cold tempertatures. Her homeworld is desert like with a total of three suns. She isn't made for the cold. She can't speak English very well. She speaks some Nolaki, and is of course fluent in Aurian. She isn't street smart, or particularly suspicious of anyone or anything. Her lack of understanding of sarcasm demonstrates that rather easily. She can be tricked easily, but doesn't take being fooled lightly.

Fears: Her greatest fear is being alone. Even through her years as a slave, she at least had a master and others who suffered like she did. That's why she keeps trying to find her family, because without them she is truly alone.

Side note: Motorbike

Weapons: None

Extra: The upside down V shaped symbol in the sign of the Aurian Empire. It's a sign of hope of resurgence.
