Oh man, I didn't mean to word it quite like that. All's well, just wanted you to know we're almost ready to start, but that unless you don't mind us starting without you, I'd wait to make the in-character thread.

There's indeed the possibility for different environments, just nothing particularly outdoorsy. And of course, aberrations in the patterns, including "maze creatures," sections with differing architecture, and even parts where the floor plan changes right before your eyes, or even when you're not looking. Changes in the floor plan aren't usually drastic, just like, the addition or subtraction of a wall or something.
