Bramble snorted as she watched Deborah socialize amusedly. She'd taught her well. Bramble could see the younger version of her in Deborah. She missed being so naive and innocent. The only thing that stopped her from breaking down and crawling into a hole was her siblings. If they were gonna ever live through Malice, they'd have to be close again. She would have to get them together.

Bramble looked behind her, turning in her seat at the sound of Sarah speaking in her sleep, drooling. This was rewarded with a round of giggles from the wee chicks and Bramble shickered, grabbing a piece of parchment paper, leaning over the chair and lightly thwacking Sarah on the head with it to wake her.

This resulted in a round of teasing from most siblings, especially on Bramble's part,  for Sarah for sleeping off in lessons. Bramble glanced at the library doors. Where the hell where Kal and Emrys?

Malice watched Tobias leave with his eyes until he was out of sight, Abenthy slowly walking into the parlor room. Malice closed the wood doors with another snap of his pointed fingers, obviously not wanting to be overheard.

Malice took the vial put out of his suitcoat pocket, inspecting the clear liquid inside the glass vial. "You have impeccable timing Mr. Majere." Malice said in an even tone, not bothering to look at Abenthy as he ran his gloved fingers over the glass substance.

"That won't be necessary. Call this a test if you will." Malice said silkily with a cold, thin smile.

"What are the effects of this poison?" Malice asked softly, striding around the room in sleek graceful movements.

Tobias walked down the main hall, troubled and deep into his own thoughts. Worries burdened him, and he couldn't think of anything to distract him. He was too distressed to sleep, but also too tired for any other straining activity. He headed straight to the guard barracks, which were located at the darkest corners of the castle. He entered his own little room, the one he and Laura had shared, before she perished. It was small, with a sorry-looking closet in the corner, two empty, plain beds to the side, with a decently-sized window in the middle.

It wasn't much, but it was home.

Tobias stepped in, and his eyes immediately went to the floor. There, he could see the cleverly hidden loose floorboard. Though it gave off the illusion of being a perfectly fine board, it was actually loose, and underneath, it hid treasures that Malice would kill for.

Tobias looked away, ignoring it for the thousandth time in his life. He had never read the wills of his parents, nor the inheritance papers. He didn't want anything to do with them, and yet, he knew he couldn't just let Malice find them out and take them. Laura had known there was something in those papers that Malice would kill for, and he was searching. All Tobias had to do was keep quiet. And for all these years, he had. But after the tense confrontation he had with Malice, Tobias wasn't so sure anymore that the secret would be kept a secret any longer.

Deborah glanced at Sarah, another older sister. Sarah was the oddball, with poor speech and strange hobbies, that would be considered not ladylike at all. Deborah thought she was a mystery, but it wasn't surprising. Sarah was often in her own little world, and she was in that world right now. Deborah snickered as she noticed Sarah's drooling and shaggy appearance, and Dimitri rolled his eyes. "I'm telling you; Sarah will never find her happily ever after looking like that." Deborah nodded thoughtfully, but she doubted it. She was too young to really grasp the weighty meaning of love, and everything that went with it, but she knew enough to know that love wasn't everything. Dimitri always thought of it that way, as if life was all about love, and nothing else. What about fun? Pranks? Food? Were those in Dimitri's little romantic world? Deborah didn't think so.

Deborah almost laughed out loud as Bramble whacked Sarah with parchment paper, and the room resonated with quiet giggles. Dimitri tried to fight off a smile, and Eve was red with concealed laughter, holding her mouth. Deborah grinned, but then it hit her that Emrys and Kaladin weren't here. She worried for a second, if they had done something wrong, and Malice got them. That would be terrible. A flash of her dead mother and father overtook her, but this time, it was Emrys and Kaladin. Suddenly, everything wasn't so funny anymore, and Deborah struggled to shake the worry away.

Robert Poricue

Robert was taken aback by the sudden hostility from Bramble. It was expected that he would receive protests and that Bramble had always been...Unstable with her mouth though Robert was not the one to take offense kindly. He turned around and stared at her, devising a punishment that would out her back in place.

"And perhaps you should spend more time being a functional person rather than a mindless brat!" He snapped, "And perhaps you should take better care for your siblings and yourself, you seem to be doing a poor job"

He shook his head. Robert had all the will in the world to smack her then and there. In his mind, Bramble certainly deserved it. The thought of the kingdom has ways been Robert's priority though it was more subtle then ever, especially with Malice on the throne.

"I suppose you shall stay after lesson and clean the privies," Robert concluded, "You will begin after Lunch"

It was likely one of the more evil things he could think of besides corporal punishment. Their were worse things one could do to a girl, cleaning privies was nothing. Of course, their parents would not approve though Robert always seemed to have a way of convincing them about disciplinary bullshit. The thought amused him.

He took a grasp back at reality, looking at the table after hearing a snore, a crumple of parchment and the sudden burst of life. It would seem the children had gained back their livelihood. Their fruitless struggle to obtain their laughter was another annoyance, it was all for nothing as they teased with less than amusing jokes.. Perhaps Robert was too serious or too strict, it was all justified in the mind of an intellect. The greater good was at stake, the Kingdom needed liberation.

Sarah Harcourt

Sarah would've been enjoying her dream, as it was coming to a head her father the king had come up to her mount. That was the end of her dream as she was suddenly struck lightly with a piece of parchment, suddenly being thrust back into reality Sarah took in the sight of those in front of her, it was her older sister. Along with the other snickering and laughter so could only guess it was the other siblings joining in,"Wheesht ye lot afore ah get het up!"hints of anger creeping in her tone  (whisht, yall before I get agitated) It was a natural reaction to get mad so to "fend" them off in her book, she would scowl at her siblings for a moment.

They, however, stop their tease for the moment Sarah didn't catch on to their concern outright having to calm down before she caught wind of their emotions were they concern for their missing members? Rubbing her face to rid her face of the streak left by her drool, the emotions of her siblings slowly flowing into her. She follow Bramble gaze to the door of the library, however, what made Sarah wonder was why everyone was staring at the door. Nudging Bramble suddenly in a low tone,"Ay whaur's Ermy ? ". She would ask with a blank expression if the boy had decided to skip class without Sarah she would've been vexed at him, but for now, she kept her fiery mind under control.

Bramble shook her head at Sarah's question. "Boffing off somewhere with Kal, most likely brooding and planning something diabolical." Bramble said dryly  with a grin.

Mr. Poricue's reprimand stung, and Bramble's fingers dug into her palms under her desk, clenching her jaw to hide the hurt or pain threatening to show, feeling herself cracking on the inside, Bramble found herself staring at the desk, her lips pressed thinly together in anger at Mr. Porciue painful words. No longer humored whatsoever. He was right of course. She was doing a bang up job of taking care of anybody. A wall could do better at taking care of them.

Bramble's eyes scanned over the room, recounting the siblings. Eight siblings in the room. Four missing, including Willow, considering she was only three months. One had left. Elise had left.

Bramble nearly fell backwards in her chair, standing up so abruptly and quickly, Kale slid of her lap, and proceeded to crawl around on the floor. She suddenly felt overwhelmed, she was always losing her siblings. Losing everything. Lost nearly everyone. Bramble thin thread of her balance and hidden emotions snapped. She'd been holding it together for her siblings for a month, never shedding a tear, never breaking. Until now.

She slammed both her palms down flat on the table, making a couple of the siblings jump. The room suddenly became thick with tension. Bramble fixed a celery green glare on Mr. Poricue, pain and anger evident on her face.

"I'll get the other siblings, considering they all seem to be slipping away from lessons." Bramble said, her voice had an unsteady, angry edge to it. "Can't imagine why." Bramble snarled sarcastically. Her siblings looked at her with wide eyes.

"I mean, what's the bloody point?" Bramble spat, pacing around the library, running a hand through her hair. "With that rotten-shilling punter sitting on the throne, it's no wonder Kal and Emrys aren't here, probably boffing off, planning Malice's death somewhere. And end up hanging by there necks, or end up with there body parts strewn about the gardens."

Jessamine began to quietly cry. Her big blue eyes watering, her lips trembling.

"Bramble..." Eve began in a small voice, trying to stop Bramble.

Bramble's voice began to tremble, shaking her head, barreling  on, unable to stop. "Like...like..Mother.."

Aaliyah and Jessamine began to weep, even two year old Kale began to whimper.

"And Father."

"Bramble stop it." Aaliyah said between sobs, her green eyes were red from crying.

Bramble shook her head, striding to the two glass paned doors. She grabbed both the doors and flung them open, she turned around and looked at Mr. Poricue. "Don't worry I'll be back to clean." she spat, slamming the double doors behind her so hard the glass rattled. With a swish of her flowing skirts she was off, running through hallways and corridors, feeling overwhelmed and walled in, desperately needing some air.

Robert Poricue

Robert stared at the groggy Sarah Harcourt. She was always a misfit child who was more prepared to be a noble man than a fair lady. She wasn't the smartest or the toughest person he had ever known though she had a damn good spirit. His lips curled as Bramble went on.

"I'd mind your tongue if you didn't know who was on the throne," Robert snapped instantly. The sound of Malice's name gave him chills.

Even Robert fell silent at Bramble's speel. She was always too smart with her mouth. One of these days she was going to suffer because of it. The guards Malice had out in place were no noble soldiers. They could do as they please "in the name of Malice's". Granted, Malice was a cunning man though he needed oafs to even have a spec if a chance to even contain it.

"Find your siblings, we shall start without you," Robert replied as stern as ever.

He stared at the groggy Sarah again. For the moment he almost felt sorry for the kids. Almost, he had a job to do and they had theirs. He knew he would be hated but it was always for the greater good.

♔ Elisa Harcourt ♔

Keeping herself in the trees Elisa kept on reading her book. She didn't have any interest in going back nor' did she care for the tutoring. She'd apologised and turned up, that's more than enough. It wasn't that she didn't like the Robert, not at all. She just didn't see anything more she could learn about the world that she already had. It's cruel, harsh and cold, but when you dig deep enough it's loving and kind. She looked up keeping herself to herself, before standing up with her book in hand, slowly beginning to walk around the gardens. Her head was in the clouds, in the characters and the environment within it. It didn't take long before she stopped dead in her tracks gazing down at the book in awe. It had reached a part about dancing, she'd always wanted to learn but had never really needed too. Looking round to make sure no one was around Elisa slowly began to dance within the garden, just how it was described in the books. By this point, she was oblivious to anyone around.

d4a655fc79122427edb0098a26fedd06.jpg
Bramble needed a breath of fresh air. Real air. The gardens seemed like the only place at that moment. Where Malice's ears weren't, but his eyes were. Her eyes scanned for Emrys and Elise, but there was no sigh of them. Her blood seared angrily, Mr. Porciue' words stung, grief swelled within her.

The corsetted bodice flushed her cheeks even more as she made it downstairs, running down multiple flights of stairs, down unto the first floor of the palace, her dance slippers so smooth she could almost feel the marble veins beneath them. Dancing always helped her. She loved it. She had one particular one in mind.

Bramble walked through the garden, taking in the beautiful lush greens of trees and bushes, vibrant flowers, so big one could easily get lost. She walked along the paved gardens, grass growing over the smooth stones. She turned at the sound of feet scuffling, rounding some hedged bushes, Bramble saw Elise and she was well... dancing! Bramble smiled as she watched her dance, she wasn't half bad in fact.

Bramble beamed, wanting nothing more then to teach her little sister everything. Bramble was well.. beautiful when she danced, almost as well as Mother. Mother loved dancing. She didn't walk. She glided. Bramble smile slightly, wondering what her sister came out here for, but realized it was probably the same reason she had come out here for. Grief.

"There's a dance Mother once taught us," Bramble said softly, her tone filled with genuine kindness, which was rare from her often teasing one. "I'll show you." A wry grin curved her lips slight, her yellow-green eyes had a magnificent light in them, dark waves framed her pale face while she fought to pin her smooth waves hair back into a messy bun.

The wild girl eyes seem to dart around the room from the exchange between the teacher, then her sister then back to her teacher.  She made a quick judgment call on this quickly stood up, kicking her chair back an irate expression crossed her face," Sir Poricue, yer fancy books ain't elp me none. "(Sir Poricue, your fancy book don't help me none)) She look at her desk looking at the papers she had underhand," Sae I wannah stop mae lessons, Malice is king 'ere reading din't stop 'im". (So I wanna stop my lessons, Malice is king here and reading didn't stop him))She would shove the paper off her tables, clicking her tongue, as the paper went clattering to the floor. She would sit down once more crossing her arms scowling at the teacher in obvious full rebellion, she had seen her sister rebelled so why couldn't she. If she didn't wanna do this school work she wasn't now, just like her sisters weren't present they were skipping. She wanted to but this was a close second choice, she always felt at a great disadvantage when it came to schooling and just glancing at her siblings. She got the impression they looked down at her two, she would rest her head on the desk letting her wild locks shroud her head as she would try to escape this awful world she was stuck in.

♔ Elisa Harcourt ♔

Elisa jumped as Bramble came out from behind her. Her cheeks flushed red in embarrassment being caught prancing around the garden, but she was happy to see her sister. Placing the book down by one of the bushes she too tied up her hair in a french plait quicker than she could count. Her smile didn't fade as she watched her sister, her mind was buzzing round with all sorts of things. To be fair to herself Elisa had always dreamed that her happily ever after would come through her music or through dance in some way. But to be honest, she was still to young, so her dreams stayed dreams.

"I'd love to learn how mother danced." Elisa said only a few words, but they were words that meant a lot to her, learning about her parents even still.

Eddie, being four, didn't have lessons. Instead he and his younger siblings were stuck with Rose and the other servents assigned to look after them. Normally this wouldn't be a problem for Eddie, he loved Rose (whom he always called 'Rosie'), but he needed to know where his parents were.

Mama and Papa when missing when Malica came. He'd know something!

Eddie's siblings had told him to stay away from Malice but he thought it worth the risk. Malice wasn't in here, so he must be somewhere else.

"Outside!" Eddie demanded Rose, pointing at the door.

Bramble had a magnificent spark in her green eyes as Elise said yes, her hands working its way into a messy bun on the back of her head, some of the waves unpinned into the bun framed her face. Dancing made her forget, and reminded her about Mother. All the good parts. It was corking.

Bramble extended her hand to Elise and she led her through the gardens, narrowly dodging the magic thorns, through the lilac labyrinth, the smell overpowering, dunking under tree branches and vines. Finally, they got to the fountained section of the gardens. Crowded with white statues and ponds rimmed with marble. Water burbled and gushed, and a small breeze blew a curtain of mist about, making bits of rainbow. Bramble dipped down by a pond, dipping her hand into the mossy, icy water before straightening.

"It's about balance." Bramble said, walking to the stand pool. Amoung on the lily pads stood twelve octagonal stepping stones, in a circle. The water lapped just above them. "Here, on the stones, let's try it."

Bramble removed her stockings and shoes, which was strictly forbidden in the gardens, since they were public, or used to be. Nobody wanted to be anywhere near the palace these days. But Bramble wasn't worried anyone would see there ankles, there wasn't a soul in sight.

Bramble stepped on her own slimy granite stones, nudging a lily pad off with her toes. Bramble grinned as the water lapped at her feet, she turned and looked at Elise, waiting for her to get on a stone as well.

Darren made his way through his morning tasks. First came cleaning, which didn't help the downtrodden servant feel any better about his life standing. Then again cleaning all depended on how you were cleaning up after, be it those loyal to Malice and one would find himself scrubbing for days. They seem to view those who serve them as disposable  Luckily for Darren, he had to clean near the main hall, which seemed to be kept clean out of respect. As he cleaned Mr Caraon thoughts drifted to what brought him to the point where he was on his knees cleaning for an unfair and wicked ruler. His mother and father who tried to protect the kingdom they served and loved, yet that loyalty couldn't save them from their cruel attackers. Still, it wasn't as if all Dareen did was clean. As he walked back with bucket and scrubbing brush in hand, he contemplates on his other life. During nightfall, Darren uses the guise of The Stranger to spy on Malice's allies to try and find out the mad king's plans. Once Dareen placed his clean equipment to one side he went onto his next task. Feeding the guards. Grabbing a big few bowls of soup he makes his way to the barracks. With a knock on the door and "Food's up", the servant waited.  @Esther_Silvers

One of the servents took Eddie outside into the garden. Eddie rarely went into the garden so he hadn't seen many of the plants before. Sure, Malice wasn't there but, some of his sisters were!

They were sat by the fountain, and Bramble was dipping her feet in the water. Eddie ran up to them, supprisingly fast for his short legs, and attempted to climb into the fountain (He failed.)

"Amble!" He demanded "Put me in water!"

|Emrys Harcourt|

Emrys slipped into the classroom, all the while making a futile attempt to remain unseen. He'd known Mr. Poricue for a while now. He was a good man, and a fantastic teacher. The man did not, however, appreciate tardiness. Many a time had Emrys arrived late only to be chided with the same spiel about punctuality. It was a speech he was slowly becoming familiar with, and one he had no doubt he would receive today.

Tobias turned instantly to the sound of the door knocking, and a man's voice calling out that food was here. Tobias's stomach grumbled; he hadn't eaten anything today. He glanced wearily at the floorboard, before heading to the door, opening it. It revealed a servant, with brown hair and blue eyes. Tobias eyed the bucket of soup eagerly, while nodding his thanks. "Thank you," he said, smiling tiredly. A flicker of curiousity lead him to also add, "What's your name?"

Robert Poricue

Robert stared at Sarah in disbelief. She was the farthest thing possible from being a last despite actually being a lady. His headache grew and he was angered. If the greater good was to go as planned he needed for cooperation. The children were to blind to see it and regrettably, too thick and preoccupied to worry about it. At this rate, perhaps the kingdom shall never be liberated and he would die a slave for the kingdom.

"You will sit down or I swear I will send the guards after you!" He gritted his teeth.

He had no idea what came over Sarah, she seemed to be losing her mind. He didn't want to call the guards, they were British and unseemly. He needed control however. Such ruckus would not go unnoticed

~Deborah Ann Harcourt~

90e73f9c531c0c4f3ccf064ee160ae13.jpg

Bramble's outburst was certainly unexpected. And frightening. Never had Deborah seen her strong, tough, wily older sister just lose her cool like that. Bramble never exploded like this. It was impossible. Bramble always acted like the wickedly sharp-tongued, fiery-spirited princess who didn't have a care in the world of who was on the throne, because she knew that whoever was on the throne wasn't going to stop her from rebelling, from being the girl she is. Bramble always kept her cool, and acted tough for her siblings. Nothing could break her spirit, her impenetrable will, and restless soul. And Deborah followed along, believing it

Almost.

But despite this, in the deepest corners of her heart, Deborah knew Bramble was hurting, that all that she was acting up, was just that; acting. Bramble was hurting something strong for her siblings. That's how much she loved them. Now, Deborah had always tried to be like her older sister; tough, cocky, smart, strong. That meant to cry as least as possible. But this time, Deborah couldn't help it. Tears flowed like the Nile as Bramble went on, the climax hitting it's peak when she mention Ma and Pa.

That's when Deborah started bawling her eyes out, the salted drops splashing onto her dress.

Terrible memories began to flash; the chaos of the attack, guards running to and fro, and the cries of thousands, mourning for loved ones and for their lost kingdom as a new, cruel King relished the throne. That one, horrific, tearful, sunless day when Malice displayed to the people, and the siblings, their ruined late King and Queen, their body parts sprayed against the gardens of the palace. Deborah had never looked at remains, partly because Bramble turned her head away, and partly because she was afraid of what she was going to see. But the stories and rumours after that shocking display, was enough to paint an atrocious picture in Deborah's mind.

The deaths of Ma and Pa were a chilling reminder for the royal children, a constant memento that if they didn't behave, a fate much worse awaited. And so, for months now, they have been living in pain and solitude, the grief still fresh, the hatred still burning. But Malice was powerful. And he had put an unbearable pressure on the children, especially the older ones. Now, all he needed to do, was wait, until one of them had finally cracked.

And Bramble as one of the first.
Deborah's gaze  followed Bramble's retreating figure, as her older sister went out the room, going out to search for Emrys and Kaladin. Silence ensued, and Deborah took these moments to glance at her siblings. Dimitri was stubbornly resuming his read, while trying to keep from tears going over board, his face pinched up. Eve was still balling her eyes out, and she sniffed, cheeks red. Aaliyah was holding her knees to her chest, her gaze filled with pain and hatred. Sarah had gotten up in protest, not wanting to learn. Deborah felt a dull ache in her chest; her siblings were almost broken, and that meant Malice had almost completed his twisted mission of not only ruining the late King and Queen, but their children as well.

Abenthy Majere

He nodded, then swiftly left. He would of course go to the ball! He wasn't eating anything there though! No way was he going to eat or drink anything that was served there with HIS poison on the lose. He quickly power walked to his lab, where he sat for hours before finally creating something. They were spectacles, but they could see traces of the poison that he made, when he added salt. So he would be having salty food that night if he HAD to eat something. But he would know if the poison was to him. He also brought with him...a cure of sorts. It would postpone the effects, and it would give the victim a CHANCE at survival (maybe a 15% chance), and it would hopefully stop the paralysis of the air tubes...but who knew. He was testing at this point, he still didn't know how irreversible this would be on a human, because he was certain it was deadly.

Once he was satisfied he would be safe that night, he began getting together a suit he could hide all this stuff. He brought his normal medicine things, and all things alchemy to put on a show if needed, which he had practiced conveniently hiding in his pockets. He brought a small dagger of course, a few of his inventions in case any wealthy buyers would want it. After more hours, he was ready, and awaited the call to the ball. In the mean time, he continued to figure out how to make more antivenom. @Ms. Sparrow

Bramble's thin lips curved in a smile to the water at her feet. Bramble counted; two emphasis beats in six, she made ready to step off on the stoke, in front of Elise so she could see her steps, when the hydrangeas bushes a length away rustled and bobbed.

Bramble fought for balance on the stone, her hem dipping into the pond, As little Eddie padded down the path at a fast rate and attempted to jump into the cool water, thankfully failing, or his head would've banged on the stepping stones and likely cracked open.

"Eddie, you great idiot, do you want your head to get knocked off?" Bramble said, hoping off her stone and scooping Eddie in her arms. "I told you to stay away from the garden, you'll get torn to bits." Bramble scolded, before looking to Elise contemplatingly, a grin curving her lips.

"Come to the ball. It's  ripping, besides, I'm going to make Emrys go too. Gad knows you both need it." Bramble said, a hopeless in her eyes. Truthfully, she wanted to teach Elise how to dance. Maybe it'd give her something to be happy about. They needed it. Emrys needed it too. Besides, Malice would be at the ball... and he scared her. Though she'd never admit it.

Eddie's face crinkled up when Bramble scolded him, "I-I'm soowry!" he cried, tears flowing down his face.

Eddie wasn't upset for long because as soon as the ball was mentioned his face lit up in delight. "A ball!" he exclaimed, Eddie loved balls, they were always filled with food. Cakes, pies and of course, chocolate. Eddie loved chocolate.

@Ms. Sparrow

(I'm good to skip to the ball)

(I think I might possibly make a second character since, while I enjoy being Eddie, a four year old can't do much.)

Sarah seems to glare at her teacher for a moment, had he really dared to summon the guard the same cowardly mooks who couldn't protect her parents.Mutter something under her breath as she would take her seat, but would keep staring daggers at the tutor. "Ye nu betta tan Malice, bullin us royals wit yer stoopid parchments .Yer an skivvy I won't dae as ye say she thae thaes". (You're no better than Malice, that is bullying us royals with your stupid parchments. Your a servant I won't do as you say so that's that)) She would Crossing her arms she would move her chair back a bit then kicking her boots up onto the table crossing her legs, and resting them on the table like she had seen so many unsavory men do in town.It was her own reaction was simply through her own frustration and inability at understanding what the tutor offered, as she understand was limited to what was in front of her. Malice being her concern , after all, e was the man who started their troubles to begin with .

Robert Poricue

Robert grunted in fustration. How was it that the girl could be so misguided? The Royalty was certainly falling apart. He believed perhaps Malice would be a much better leader then all of the royal children combined, at least he was smart. She was right that the guards were cowardly but he had lost it when she put her feet on the table. It was as if the babysitter lacked the knowledge to do her job.

"You will meet me outside, now!" Robert ordered.

As he pointed to the door, looking in the direction he wished Sarah to go, he noticed a bit quirky walking into the room. He had no doubt the rebellion had half her heart in it and the other half being loyalty to her siblings. The lessons were almost over anyways, they had done nothing productive.

"Both of you will meet me outside, the rest of your are dismissed," he gritted.

Robert walked up to Sarah and dragged her by the collar on his shirt. He did the same for Enemy's who was trying to quietly walk in, bursting the door open and placing them against the walls. The look of Robert's face showed no signs of compassion, only pure anger and annoyance.

♔ Elisa Harcourt ♔

Elisa snickered at her brother and her sister, for once she felt happier than before, away from everyone and the palace it felt like it was before, before their parents. It struck home soon after when Bramble mentioned the ball however and Elisa just shook her head. "I better not. I'll sneak off and go riding or something. I have no reason to go. Not really." She put up a brace smile, before beginning to follow Brambles steps, slowly her feet got used to the pattern and she was dancing! Quite well too. Beginner luck maybe? Even still, she fell into her own little world again, but this time, she'd let others into it. She did dream about meeting someone at a ball, yet Malice, pfft, like he'd invite kids. Her dreams were what she was holding onto, what she would always hold onto. Yet, she couldn't attend a ball at her age, never was she going to wear a dress, she hated them, long drapes of material hanging off her, not to mention corsets..

@SirGrey

The guard who greeted Darren seemed to be more than pleased about having the food. The guard had the build that one would suspect someone in his employ would have. Looking up at the tall short haired guard, the servant says "My name is Darren sir" as he walks inside the barracks. Placing the large bucket of soup on a table to one side he goes to the guard "Is there something you wanted sir?" the servants asks. He didn't know who this guard sided with, hence the sweat beads of worry going down his neck.
