Naphuron

One of three lands of the Otherworld.
400 years ago it used to be split into two duchies, Sigrid and Vesuvia. After the Great War, which was started by Diavel Aurelius killing the recent Duke of Sigrid, Duke Garreth Daxten of Sigrid, the borders were reevaluated and two new duchies (and covens), Irewood and Athera, were formed, ruled by Duke Diavel Aurelius of Irewood and Duchess Amelia Minerva of Athera.

Irewood and Athera closed the Contract of Eleyson, which would require every human between the ages of 16 and 60 to pay a carafe of blood as taxes each month, and in return forbid the hunting of humans by law and guarantee protection from attacks by every vampire of the Irewood and Athera Covens.

The current Dukes and their respective Counts are-

Irewood (Capital City: Paravel)
Duke Diavel Aurelius of Irewood
Count Devorak of Irene
Count Valerius of Laburnum
Countess Aesther of Nova

Athera (Capital City: Albaris)
Duke Lucian Aurelius of Athera
(successor of Duchess Amelia Minerva)
Countess Harper of Lumar
Count Mercer of Aegis

Sigrid (Capital City: Noctra)
Duke Carden Daxten of Sigrid
(successor of Duke Gareth Daxten)
Count Valdemar of Damoore
(successor of Countess Nadia)

Vesuvia (Capital City: Aurion)
Duchess Mora Aurion of Vesuvia
Count Voltaro of Garen
Countess Grecia of Mariel
Count Vlastomil of Cerea
Countess Iris of Topar
Countess Amara of Ca'el

Amalthea

A vast system of 13 massive underground caves, connected by countless tunnels. It stretches out under the entire land of Naphuron.
Seen as one gigantic city, the different parts of Amalthea are numbered from 1 to 13.
Amalthea 1, the biggest cave, serves as a kind of 'capital city' within the city, the residence of the leader and the hub of the revolution.

Creatures

Fae Folk
Mysterious beings that lead lost human souls into their territory, nurturing and caring for the lost souls until the souls become loyal followers and become fae folk themselves. Fae folk are split into elemental groups, most often found living together with their own elemental group.

Fae folk in general do not like mingling with other creatures, including humans, and decide to keep to themselves as a form of self-preservation and protection.

All fae folk start out as small winged beings, gradually growing into fae children, who look like normal human children. Their queen is usually the oldest and most experienced in the group, often served by older and adult fae folk. Adult fae folk are the only ones who can control their elemental power, while child and winged fae do not have this ability.

The elemental groups are as follows:

Earth Fae
Creatures that bring abundance and growth to anything they touch, they're believed to be the reason for a bountiful harvest and healthy vegetation. In truth they are actually quite cunning. They tend to reside in abandoned islands, or deep in the forests, where they're able to live in peace and quiet and have copious amount of plant life.

Fire Fae
Fire fae are hot-headed just as their element suggests. They are direct to the point and blunt but also brave and fearless. They aren't very patient and are most probably the more dangerous elemental group out of the four. They only reside near volcanoes or forests that has been touched by forest fires.

Wind Fae
The gentlest yet most elusive of the four elemental groups, they rarely show themselves at all. Not much is known about this group of fae, only that they are usually found deep in the mountains.

Water Fae
Playful and mischievous creatures, possibly the only group that shows themselves to other creatures occasionally in the hopes of playing jokes and pranks on them. It is said that a sudden onset of harsh rain is caused by the Water Fae queen reprimanding her younger fae for all the pranks and jokes they play. Usually found in water springs or waterfalls.

Humans

Willehelm Snell

A young alchemist that poured a lot of his time looking at the stars and its alignment with the Earth, believing that the stars were the secret to time and world travel. In his free time, he takes on peculiar jobs and tasks, like making mechanisms that no one knew how to use. Has quite the fixation on the idea of time and world travel, believing that he himself is from another time and world, somehow losing his memories as he travelled through realms.

Werewolves

Akeela-
An enormous, white wolf, about as tall as a polar bear. He's the Alpha of the pack and father of Sol, Rahna and their siblings. Very polite and open minded, he doesn't waste his energy on hating the vampires that have been mistreating his kind for millenia but plans their revolution patiently and thoroughly.
"The most powerful warriors are patience and time."

Rahna-

Sol's younger sister (by twenty minutes) and one of the healers of her pack. She's energetic, optimistic and gets easily excited about the smallest of things. Being unusually short for a werewolf (only 5'3 ft) and strictly avoiding physical confrontations, she has decided early on that helping others by vetting their injuries was the right way for her to contribute to the pack.
Like her father Akeela, she has never taken on her beast form and doesn't plan on ever letting it show.
"Tell me that I'm crazy, but I'll never let 'em change me."
