I usually wouldn't ever post anything public because I don't like wasting people's time with questions, but how do I join a roleplay group?

I would recommend just asking. If you dont post or if you dont ask, you wont be accepted into a group. Also make sure you follow the rules.

Each group roleplay has its own set of rules and application process. So it would be best to ask the person who started the thread you're interested in, if you're unsure what to do.
