Max got up as he startes pulling things out of his arms sending all the monitors off "Eddie! Stop it!" She yelled trying to get him to sit down "Edward! Lay fucking down!" She shouted finally getting him to atleast stop fighting when he heard her shout.

Jamie got parked and quickly helped her out of the car making sure he had the bag as well. He got her inside and went straight to the nurse's station "Ma'am? My wife she is in labor, can you help us please?" He asked giving her a scared and panicked look.

He grit his teeth and shook his head. “Fucking. Selfish.” He spat at her absolutely furious. “I’m leaving.” He told her getting up again while the nurse was quickly trying to explain to him that it wouldn’t be a very good idea and that they were going to keep him overnight but he just kept moving.

Carmen frowned some starting to feel a little weird as the last one finished and she leaned up against the wall for a minute while she watched Jamie talking to them. “I don’t feel so good.” She mumbled.

Max frowned deeply at him and shook her head some "She found you Edward! Your daughter fucking found you!" She spat at him glaring at him as he started to move. She got up to try and stop him shaking her head some "Stop it please! Stop!"

Jamie turned quickly when he heard Carmen frowning as he saw how pale she had become "Help her please!" He said to the nurse before rushing to Carmen's side "Come here love."

He turned and faced her. “Because you wouldn’t help me do it.” He muttered and turned to keep leaving.

She frowned and ended up leaning on him before passing out.

Max frowned deeply and shook her head softly "Why?! Why would I help you kill yourself Eddie?!" She said trying to stop him the best she could.

Jamie went wide eyed as she fell limo in his arms "Help us damn it!" He screamed at the nurses who just sat there watching them.

Eddie shook his head, shaking badly, "Because it hurts.... More... Every day... My head. Painkillers... don't work." He managed to get out to her as he had started slurring. "I'm done. It's not... Getting fixed."

They got her taken through to the maternity ward immediately and had him wait outside while they were looking her over, letting him know she was goinhg in for an emergency c-section shortly after that and that he would have to wait outside

Max frowned deeply as she watched him "Eddie we can try to make it better okay? We can get this looked at." She whispered letting more tears fall as she watched him

Jamie frowned deeply when they said she would be rushed into an emergency c-section "Whats wrong? Is she going to be okay? Is the baby okay?"

He just shook his head trying to keep moving to get out of there but took only a few more steps before collapsing and passing out, his nurse rushing to get help and they spent a while getting him stable before telling max they were going to keep him sedated for a while so theu could help him recover a little more from the overdose.

They just told him to be patient and left him to it, no one coming to check on him for half an hour when they were finally taking a tiny bundle to him. “Mr. Bower? Your daughter is here. Very healthy.” She told him as she started to pass her over.

Max sat there giving the nurses and nod before she started to call Aaron. She didn't know how to even begin on telling him about his father, but she knew he had to know.

Jamie looked up when he heard his name and smiled wide "My wife?" He questioned before taking the little bundle in his arms crying instantly as his eyes landed on her face.

Aaron groaned a little seeing his mom was calling and reached over to grab his phone, “hello? Mom? Everything okay? It’s a little early.” He mumbled, rubbing his face.

“They’re just finishing with her and she should be set up in a recovery ward shortly.” She assured him.

Max smiled and gave a soft laugh at how much he sounded like Eddie "Hey baby....I know its early but uh...something happened." She said softly before taking a shaky breath "I uh...I'm at the hospital right now. Iris found your father this morning OD'ing in the bathroom. He's okay now but uh...he isn't doing good Aaron."

Jamie nodded and thanked her while he still held his daughter close. She was perfect, in every shape and form. He couldn't wait to bring her to Carmen.

Aaron frowned some, "Alright.... I'll be down there by tomorrow.... Is this about to be it?" He asked her seriously, wanting to know what to prepare for

She let him have a few more minutes with her before she needed to take her to the nursery for a while, someone eventually coming to collect him to let him know he could go see Carmen and that she was doing a lot better now she wasn't putting extra strain on her body

Max took a shaky breath before nodding softly "It might be....Aaron he tried to kill himself." She admitted quietly

Jamie went in to see Carmen and smiled happily at her "Hello gorgeous, oh love you did amazing." He said happily taking her hand in his

He frowned and just nodded slowly. “Okay… I’m on my way.” He told her quietly and hung up to get started on packing a bag.

Carmen smiled tiredly watching him. “They haven’t let me hold her yet. Is she okay?” She asked him quietly, completely doped up still and exhausted.

Sarah came out of the restroom at Aaron's little apartment frowning softly "Everything okay?" She asked having heard him sounding upset on the phone.

Jamie smiled and nodded happily "Oh Carmen she is absolutely perfect. Looks just like you, head full of beautiful hair." He said happily kissing her hand repeatedly

She hummed as she fell asleep just holding onto his hand exhausted

Aaron frowned and looked up, pausing his packing and just shook his head. “He’s uh… he’s tried to kill himself. He’s in so much pain every day and he’s just…. This might be it. I need to go home for a bit.” He mumbled a little in shock now.

Jamie looked over at the nurse who came in to check her over "Hi, is she going to be okay? Is her heart okay?" He asked softly

Sarah went a bit wide eyed and nodded some "Oh my god Aaron...I'm so sorry." She said softly not knowing what else to say. She went by his side and gently took his shaking hand in hers "Would you like me to come with you? So you're not there alone?"

He just nodded to her and held onto her tightly for a minute. “Thank you.” He murmured, kissing her gently and went to continue packing. They made it down there the following day and he dropped her off at the house so she could get settled before he went down to the hospital to check in on his mom, knocking on the door frame as he walked in. “What happened?”

She nodded and glanced over at him. “She does still need to be a little careful as always for her but now there’s not the extra strain she should get back to her normal fairly soon,” she assured him.

Max looked at the door the next morning seeing Aaron there. She rushed to him and hugged him tight "He's in so much pain. He got mad that I didn't...that I didn't help him do it." She explained crying softly "They had to sedate him because he wasn't sitting down and was trying to leave."

Jamie nodded and gave a small smile "Thank you very much." He said happily to her.

He frowned and took a seat, sighing heavily and rubbed at his face. “Mom he’s losing his sight from the pain this is causing him. And he’s losing his hearing. Dad is a musician losing his hearing. He can’t hardly talk anymore and he’s just going to get worse… you love him…. It might be time to let him go if he needs to cause the hospital isn’t helping him.” He told her as gently as he could but he’d already discussed this with Eddie at his last visit.

She woke up several hours later and just watched him tiredly, reaching for him exhausted. “C’mere…. You call your mom yet?” She asked him quietly.

Max took a seat and shook her head some "No...no I've been looking for possible help outside of Hawkins! I found a specialist, they could help us out." She said before taking a shaky breath "I...I just....I can't kill him...Aaron...if he goes..okay but I can't help him kill himself."

Jamie moved to lay by her side smiling happily "Yeah I did; she was so excited. Told me to call as soon as the baby was back in the room." He said laughing lightly

He frowned. “Mom…. I… it’s what he wants.” He told her and stood up to leave her to privacy again, driving to Iris’s friends house to pick her up. “Hey munchkin. I’m here to take you home for now. You got me and Sarah watching you.” He told ber

She nodded and smiled tiredly. “I want to see her. I want to hold my daughter.” She mumbled.

Iris rushed into her brother's arms when she saw him smiling happily "Yay! Wait where is mommy and daddy? Is daddy okay?" She asked worriedly hugging him tightly "He was on the floor....and he wasn't breathing." She whimpered before she started to cry softly into his neck just scared about it all.

Jamie nodded softly and pressed the call button "They said once you woke up they would bring her." He said happily before kissing her temple gently.

Aaron sighed heavily and picked her up carrying her to the car. “I know kid I know. Dads not doing great okay? You gotta wait a couple days to go see him but he’s gonna be okay.” He promised. “Sarah’s at home. I brought her with me.” He told her smiling.

She smiled tiredly and nodded leaning back and waited patiently for them to bring her daughter in.
