This may have been the biggest screw up he had ever done and that was saying a lot. Dimitri held onto the jacket as Lily placed it in his arms, his lips turning up slightly as he moved his gaze over to Felix. He knew that he was going to be either a. screamed at or b. ignored. Honestly, both options were pretty brutal.

The brunette chewed on the inner part of his lip, trying to come up with some sort of plan that could help not only himself and Felix but for the two girls as well. There was no way that the four of them were all going to end up homeless, right? He shook off the comment on how they all had cards, closing his eyes as soon as Lily had mentioned that they didn't. Fuck, now his guilt was up to the fucking sky.

Dimitri opened his lips to speak but slammed them shut once Amelia had finally spoken. He frowned, watching the brunette storm off down the stairwell without another look back. Sure, he could tell that she was mad but he also could tell that Lily was clearly upset and needed to be comforted. "Hey, don't beat yourself up over this.", he offered a soft smile as he pressed his left palm into the center of Lily's back. "Everything is going to be fine. Just go get your stuff and meet us down on the sidewalk." Did he have a plan? Absolutely not. Would he have one by the time that the girls were at the sidewalk? Probably not.

He watched as the other brunette had made her way down the stairwell before he turned to look sheepishly at Felix. "So bro, I screwed up but to be fair I saved a life tonight." Dimitri grinned cheekily as he moved his hand into a fist, lightly tapping Felix's arm.

"Maybe it's finally time to take operation: let's take the stoner van on a trip." Dimitri raised his hands up slightly as his eyebrows rose almost as if they were on quo. He really didn't see them having any other option besides Felix leaving his sorry ass behind for the first time in their life.

Lily was a bit taken aback by her sister's words, her blue eyes staring after Amelia as she hurried past them and moved down the stairwell. She hadn't expected them to cut as deep as they did, but she was a bit hurt. Of course, she wasn't dumb. She knew she fucked up and she knew this was a routine. It had happened many times before. She would get into trouble, get caught, and then try to apologize and promise to change or make things better. That never happened, so she couldn't blame Amelia for not believing it would this time, too.

Sighing, Lily wondered if she should go after her sister right away or if she should give her a minute or two of quiet in their tiny apartment. But then Dimitri was stepping up to her and placing his hand on her lower back, undoubtedly trying to comfort her. Had it been any other situation, the girl was sure she would have grown a bit flustered over the physical touch, but not this time. Instead, she was just grateful that someone was spelling out what she needed to do next, because she didn't really think her mind could do it for her just yet. So, with a slow nod, she glanced between the two guys before turning and heading down the stairs after her sister.

It randomly occurred to her as she went that she didn't even know the other guy's name yet, but Lily assumed he was a friend of Dimitri's and that he also lived in this building. She wondered how he and Amelia had met, but those questions could be asked way, way later.

Once in the apartment, the door having been left wide open, Lily silently went about packing her things in her small room. She could hear Amelia in her bedroom doing the same thing, but neither girl made an effort to talk to each other, not even when they were both busy grabbing things out of the bathroom. Lily tried to stay out of her sister's way as much as possible, knowing she'd fucked up more than she ever had before. Even getting them kicked out of the family home seemed to almost pale in comparison to this.

Finally, twenty five minutes later, they were packed. Many things had been left behind, including the few pieces of furniture and food and kitchen items, but they'd at least managed to grab their clothes, bathroom stuff, and anything that held sentimental value. Lily felt both physically and emotionally out of breath as she lugged the last of her things down the stairs to the sidewalk where Dimitri had told her to meet him and his friend.

Lily spared a glance at her sister now that she'd set her last couple boxes down beside her suitcases, her blue eyes trying to gauge Amelia's current mood. Was she still pissed off? Furious? She wasn't quite sure, but she didn't dare say a word in case she upset her again. Instead, she remained silent, her arms crossed over her chest. She was glad she'd changed into a new outfit at least; this one would be a little warmer and a little cozier than the shorts and shirt she'd had on earlier, especially considering it was the middle of the night in Boston.

When the brunette, Amelia he had learned, didn't respond to his question, Felix wasn't too bothered. He knew she had a lot on her mind now what with everything that had just happened and when her sister confirmed that they did live in the apartments, it was even more understandable. Because now the two girls had nowhere else to live either. So he let Amelia go, his brows pinched together at the mess they had all found themselves in.

Felix was honestly furious with Dimitri and he wanted to lay into him now so he knew how mad he really was, but he knew it wasn't the time. And not just because they only had thirty minutes to leave the apartments or the police would be called. Once the two girls had gone back to their apartments to begin packing, though, he shot Dimitri an icy glare. "Dude, you almost got yourself killed in the process, so I wouldn't call this whole thing a win-win..." Felix muttered irritably before letting go of a heavy sigh and running his hands through his hair. He was stressed, to say the least.

This wasn't going to be the first (or last) time Dimitri fucked up and Felix had to step in to save the day. From the sounds of things, it was similar between Amelia and Lily, too, which made sense considering Lily and Dimitri had seemed to gravitate towards each other, leaving him and Amelia to clean up their messes together. Shaking his head, he finally met Dimitri's gaze at the mention of bringing his stoner-van on a road trip. "Guess so," he agreed, a little reluctantly. "You're lucky I'm not ditching your sorry ass, Dimitri."

With that, Felix turned on his heel and strode past Dimitri and down the stairs to their floor, grateful it was only one down. Having a trust fund was a nice thing sometimes, even if he hadn't exactly figured out how or what to use his money on yet. Apparently he had his answer now considering he was undoubtedly going to be helping fund this unfortunate new adventure they were going on. At least they had each other, though, right?

Felix was growing more and more stressed when he made it to the apartment and realized half an hour wasn't going to be enough time to pack up everything he had. He was going to be forced to leave things behind. Obviously he had the money to replace those things, but it wasn't quite the same. With a heavy sigh, though, he padded into his room and quickly began packing as much as he could into his suitcases.

Half an hour later, Felix was ready. "Dimitri, hurry the fuck up," he called from the doorway, leaning against it as he tried to hurry along his friend. He was growing more and more stressed out by the minute, and in turn was becoming even more of an asshole. But he figured he sort of had the right to, considering all that had happened and the fact that it literally wasn't his fault. Finally, Dimitri appeared with his things, causing Felix to shoot him a slight glare. "You didn't lose your keys, right?" He asked with a slight huff, knowing now of all times would be when his idiot best friend would lose his van keys.
