spacerA luxurious estate. A mysterious host. A shocking series of murders. Has the game already started? Who are your allies? Who do you trust? And...is this really a game?
Background & Plot.
spacerYou've been invited to the 'Crimen.' Normally such games wouldn't interest you, but the hint of prize money does. Whether it be rent, student loans, or any other inexplicable reason, you have no choice. You must win that prize money. Regardless of any competitor.
spacerThe 'Crimen' takes place in the middle of nowhere, basically a lavish estate placed on a abandoned(?) island. At the start, you are given a pouch with 10 bronze, mysterious coins. As a competitor, you have access to almost all of it's facilities. You can call the servants as you will, leave to explore the island, and examine most of the rooms. You spend the first few days within your arrival to explore. During mealtimes, you enter the hall and meet the competitors and host, but otherwise you explore the island and enjoy the luxury. Until, the third night. Clutched in his hand, a card simply reads: "The games begin. You have your roles, and your instructions. Find the Mafia before he kills you all."
spacerMafia. Just like the game. Timeframe of 7 days. (All participants MUST gather at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Penalties will be given out to those who disregard this rule). An opportunity to use coins might be offered at infrequent times of the day. Whether it be clues on roles or advantages to be purchased for the future, the Auction happens quite rarely...and also changes place. Roles are given through identification cards. Be careful to not get them stolen.
- The Innocent have a set of tasks to complete throughout the day. With each task complete, they receive one of the coins they got at the beginning of the game along with a piece to a single riddle that leads to one of the roles.
- The Twins have the essential same role/goal of the Innocent. There are two people who fill this role. They know each others identity at the start. They share the tasks completed. However, they also both die if one of them is killed.
- The Sheriff has more tasks then the others. He can only investigate once per day; once he completes all his tasks, he gets a kill slip. He can shoot one person he's suspicious of.
- The Angel has a significant amount of tasks. He can protect one person once per day; once he somehow completes all his tasks, he can bring back one person.
- The Mafia doesn't have any tasks. Their one goal is to kill. In order to kill, they must make a signal (that is given by the host) during either Breakfast, Lunch, or Dinner towards a player's chair. They can only kill one person per day.
Roles.
Amount of roles are dependent on the amount of interest shown. However, the base roles will be: Innocent, Sheriff, Angel, Twins, and Mafia.
Note.
- This idea is still not fully ready. I might change the game of Mafia to fit more to Secret Hitler (which is more complicated but might be more fun).
- Once interest is show and characters are made, I will assign roles randomly.
- I might make a small interactive map where you can move your symbol to show where you last were or currently are. OR I might make several RP threads to reflect the 'rooms' of the house.
- Not sure if this idea will work (To be honest, it's still very messy). Just wanted some opinions.
