Yoo Han-sol

[div class=scroll]Han-sol had been a bit worried for Jiao's physical state after the ordeal they'd gone through to get to the kitchen, but it seemed he had no reason to fret as the boy had bounced back up almost immediately. "I know, us chefs go unappreciated in this household." He said sympathetically after Jiao's outburst, reaching out a hand to pat him on the head.

Most of the boys sounded a chorus of agreement to his suggestion of breakfast. Han-sol laughed when Mu-yeol started bartering with tea. "Go ahead, I'm looking forward to see how Mu-yeol hyung's homemade tea will taste." He joked, "I'll make you breakfast for free this time, since I'm just so kind."

Of course, Jae-Po had to reject a nutritious meal in favour of a pot of yoghurt. "You have to eat protein, you know!" Han-sol called after Jae-Po, who was rapidly making his way to the bathroom. Han-sol sighed and shook his head. The eldest's noncompliance was concerning. Wouldn't a tall guy like him need a hearty breakfast more than anyone?

He also heard Jae-joon's quiet voice speak to him. Han-sol turned around, about to ask him what he'd said, when a growl erupted from the small boy's belly. He smiled and pinched Jae-joon's cheeks. "Do you know why your tummy's doing that? It's because you ate too much tteokbokki instead of real food!" Han-sol cooed at him. But the boy soon rushed off to the bedroom, seeming mentally preoccupied.

Han-sol took the chance to turn his attention back to cooking. The eggs were frying, and he'd decided to leave the bacon up to his cooking partner. The aroma of food had already begun to fill the tiny apartment. Considering the not-so-great ventilation, it would probably stay like this for a while. Han-sol's stomach let out a weak grumble, completely ready for food after having been starved for so long. He guessed the others were much the same.

He placed the eggs gingerly onto plates, taking care not to break the yolks. Han-sol took this opportunity to try and feed Song-gi, although he was sure he was going to be rejected. After all, he needed the opinion of the eating expert. "Just eat it. How does it taste? Not bad, right?"

~3:00AM | food is good
mentioned song-gi, hansol, jae-joon, jae po, maybe everyone

"Hmm?" He looked over his shoulder, before turning back to carefully peeling the apple. "Do you want some, Song-gi?"

Hyeseong steadied the blade with his fingers then diced the apples into cubes. He adjusted himself on his section of the kitchen counter as the other members busied themselves past him to the stovetop. Maybe he'll have some of the eggs Hansol is preparing, he glanced at the pan as it sizzled and the smell tempted him.

He placed the apples on the table far enough to offer to anyone who wanted some and popped a piece in his mouth, chewing absentmindedly. The conversation swirled around him, and the topic of their schedule of the day came up.

"What kind of reality show would benefit from their guests not knowing what it's about?" he mused quietly, taking a spare seat as he waited for the main course to be served.

"The bathroom's free again." said Jae Po, who had come and gone swiftly.

Jae-Joon left but hadn't exactly went for the bathroom when he returned far too early, so Hyeseong swooped to head over there while the bacon is still cooking. "I'll take it, hyung."

Pausing at the living space, where some mats have yet to be folded, Hyeseong slipped out of his shirt and crouched to check his phone notifications. He shoved the shirt into their laundry bag and cleared most messages without reading, opting to do it later.

First settling nature's call, Hyeseong unlocked the door after he flushed and proceed to freshen up his face. His skin is adequate for the day and he moved on to scan the brushes in the cup.

He peered at the door and wondered if anyone else was going to come in while he brushed his teeth. Because when you're sharing one bathroom between nine people you're bound to have at least three people squeezing themselves to look into the mirror on the days they had to rush through the mornings.

Hyeseong found more comfort doing self care with someone else in the room.

indent Jiao's mouth fell agape from the blatant disregard Jae-Po had for Jiao attempting to keep him well-fed. In fact, Jiao was fully prepared to chase after their leader into the bathroom, with the pan he had just found for cooking the bacon in hand. Barely managing to restrain himself, Jiao had instead decided to resort to just calling after his hyung, who had evaded him by fleeing like a coward.
"If you have the audacity to complain about being hungry later, I swear that I will beat you, regardless of if you're my hyung or not. Let me just care for you for once, damn it!"
He sighed, exasperated. He couldn't help but worry about Jae-Po. As their leader, he was constantly under a great deal of pressure, and Jiao could often see it. He wanted to help in whatever way possible, even if it was something as small as cooking breakfast on him. Jiao shook his head, pushing those thoughts out of his head. Soon enough, they would be leaving, so Jiao had to increase his pace; Han-Sol had already begun frying the eggs.
Initially, Jiao had planned to cook the bacon in the oven, but decided against this in the interest of protecting himself from the oven's rather temperamental nature. The stovetop was several times more consistent. He dashed cooking oil into the pan, before neatly laying the bacon out in strips across its surface. Remarkably, Jiao managed to dodge the searing spits of oil that occasionally sputtered upwards towards his face. He lightly seasoned each cooking strip of meat with salt and pepper, before grabbing a fork out of the cutlery drawer and flipping the pieces over, to ensure an even cook. He had to move quickly, as he didn't want to burn anyone's breakfast.
By the time he had flipped the bacon and seasoned the other side, the eggs were already complete and plated; they cook faster, after all. With surprising grace, he lifted the frying pan from the stove and turned it off, traveling across the small kitchen, towards his fellow member's plates. Perhaps a little too carelessly, since he was holding a hot cast-iron pan in his hand.
Nonetheless, he completed the journey with no accident. Beaming, with fork and pan in hand, he dished out the strips of bacon evenly across the plates of those who were eating, perhaps giving the larger pieces to Song-Gi in order to both appease his appetite and temperament.
"I hope you all enjoy. Bon appetit!" He said gleefully, taking a small bow as he stood before them, before pivoting on the balls of his feet and heading towards the sink, in order to wash up.
"Ah, you should go eat too, Han-Sol. I can take care of the cleaning, if you want."

Jae-Joon waited as his food was served to him, he was really awaiting it, even though his stomach continued to growl and almost toss and turn from the crackers he ate. He held his fork in his hand and he watched Jiao approach the table with the sizzling bacon and he licked his lips slightly, waiting for his to be put on his plate so he could begin eating. When he was given his food, he immediately took the bacon into his hands and he let go of it shortly afterwards, whispering, "Ah, hot!" He said, shaking his hand a little bit in the air and frowning as he waited for the bacon to cool down.

As he was waiting, he looked around and he realized that Jiao had taken up the job of cleaning. He hopped out of his seat again, and he looked at everyone else eating. Even though he was in a rush to eat, he would never turn down an oppurtunity to help. He looked at Jiao and he had asked, "I know I didn't help with breakfast or anything, but I would be glad to help, hyung." He looked back at the appetizing bacon for a moment, and it still was steaming, which made him furrow his eyebrows a bit. "Having help always gets the job done faster, yes?" He said, smiling. He looked around to see what had to be done in the kitchen. "Should I was the dishes?" He asked, shutting his mouth afterwards, because he felt that he was asking too many questions, and he just waited for Jiao's response.

"Oh~" Song-gi marveled. Lately, it seemed as if their manager got a kick out of making their events a surprise. Would they ever become popular enough to at least know their own schedule? Even more well-known and successful groups had their events scheduled in advance.

"Just eat it." Han-sol approached him now, which caught him by surprise. It took everything in him to keep a poker face while he got up and walked over to the drawer to grab a fork and knife. Once he sat back down, he poked the fried dish with his fork and slowly directed it towards his mouth.

It tasted good. He took another bite and tried the bacon with it this time. It was a bit salty, but the egg canceled it out. The taste was good but could have been improved. "It tastes decent, but you could add more to it," he waved the fork in the air as he talked, similar to how a conductor directs his band, "If only we had spices and seasonings other than salt and pepper." He paused for a moment before nodding, content with his critique. He wasn't a very good cook himself, but he has always been one to judge people's cooking. Song-gi had always been the type to try any type of food. It only made sense for people to look to him for an opinion on certain dishes.

It wasn't long before the others started cleaning up, which reminded him to clean up as well. He scarfed down the rest of his breakfast and sighed feeling satisfied. "Ah, that was nice!" he thought before getting up and placing his dish in the sink. He knew that Jiao had planned to do the dishes and heard Jae-joon offer to help. So he stayed out of the way.

He passed by the kitchen and moved the ugly curtain out of the way to get to the living area. He grimaced at the mess they made and crouched down, cleaning up after everyone. He started with the mats: He rolled them up and put them in the corner of the room. He folded the blankets and placed them next to the mats. Next came the tteokbokki crumbs. He frowned, remembering his previous outbursts. He walked back over to the kitchen to grab a broom and dustpan and returned to the living area, sweeping the mess. Once he finished, he took a step back and lifted his hands up in front of him, taking in the view of the newly cleaned area.

Song-gi rummaged through his backpack looking for the clothes he planned to wear that day. He pulled out a black and white striped turtleneck, a grey hoodie, and a pair of black skinny jeans. He took the opportunity to change in the living area while the other members were busy in the kitchen. Once he slipped into his sweatshirt, his dark hair was a tangled mess on his head. He grabbed the couple of skin products he had and headed for the bathroom.

He knocked on the door and didn't wait too long before opening it. The feeling of shock surged through him as he was surprised to see Hyeseong by the sink. When did he leave to go to the bathroom? Maybe he hadn't noticed, as he was too distracted by the other louder members. He placed the moisturizer and lotions he had on the counter and began with his little routine of sorts. Upon completion, he attempted to fix his hair and gave up just as quickly as he started. He presumed that they would have make-up artists that would help them look more cleaned up anyway.

~3:00AM | are we leaving?
mentioned song-gi, jaejoon, jiao and min-cheol/remy

Hyeseong whirled around at a knock on the door, toothbrush hanging from his lips and his hands taking a sudden liberty to cover up his bare non existent chest. The newcomer seemed just as surprised as he did. Upon realising it's just Song-gi, he relaxed his arms and turned back towards the mirror.

How shocked did he look with a foamy mouth? He almost choked up laughing just thinking about it and cleared his throat.

Both wordlessly, Hyeseong side stepped a little to allow Song-gi to see himself. It's awkward like this, though he's always been awkward around him more than the other members. Watching him from the corner of his eye while he gargled water, maybe they could get on those shows specifically for bonding. That would be nice.

He finished up, checking his smile then touched Song-gi's shoulder in passing as he went. "I'm done~" he announced to no one in particular.

Another plain white shirt, jeans and a pink hoodie he pulled over his head. Hyeseong picked out one of his three different chain necklaces, the one with the ring attached and kept his mask in his hand before returning to the kitchen slightly fresher. The leftovers of the cooked breakfast doesn't appeal while some were dilligently offering washing up services.

He ate a couple more apples, more browner since he left and stored the rest in the fridge. Then proceeded to hold onto the nearest person, Remy, putting his arms around his waist and his chin on his shoulder. "Remy-ah, are you gonna use those peels?"

REMY

Min-Cheol stopped his ridiculous humming and kept plopping segments of oranges in his mouth, thanking the Gods that he wasn't allergic to citrus fruits. The only thing he was allergic to was spinach. He could anything that was in his diet plan, which basically meant he had to drop almost everything... He looked over to the cooking members feeling a bit jealous. The boy had a special talent of burning everything. His friends often joked that he would even burn water. If none of the Yours Truly members were present to feed him, he'd survive by eating salads and boiled eggs, curling up and crying.

He looked at the skinny figures of his fellow mates. Min-Cheol was the heaviest out of them all. He had developed some noticeable muscle in his trainee times but sometimes, he'd slack and find is natural chubby cheeks coming back. He loved to exercise with dancing, especially popping dance. When it came to the overwhelmingly precise choreographies they had, he'd try and run away. Same thing with singing. He'd sing in the shower but felt shy singing to the fans and do any ad-libs in the presence of the powerhouse vocals around him.

He was staring blankly at the skinny Jae-Joon, finishing his orange and spacing out. He snapped out of his weird trance when a warm body clung to him. Min-Cheol was all in for skinship, as long as it wasn't in the public. He felt relaxed and peeked to see who was guilty of wrapping their arms around his waist. It was Hyeseong who revealed himself by asking if Min-Cheol needed the peels. At this point, he had almost forgotten that he had another name. Remy wasn't exactly uncommon in Brazil, the land where many people had French ancestry. But in the eyes of Koreans, it was an oddity. People much rather used 'Min-Cheol'. So when he was reminded of his other name, he let out a satisfied hum and shook his head softly.

The early morning was not being too kind to him. He felt himself falling asleep under the stylist's touch. The poor woman almost burnt him with the flat iron on multiple occasions because of his drooping head. Apologies flowed from her thin lips, but he couldn’t seem to focus on a single thing she said. The espresso shots hadn’t flowed to his brain yet, and he was practically a walking zombie without the decaying flesh and need for a human brain.

He wouldn’t be in the chair much longer. They only wanted to style their hair and put on a subtle amount of makeup to make them look presentable. He felt happy when she stopped with the makeup after pounding his face with a makeup sponge. It was only a simple moisturizing bb cream. From what he could clearly understand, she said since it was taking place outside, they didn’t want to go over the top.

Thank god.

After being ushered out of the chair, he walked over to a little bench and picked up his jacket. He pushed his arms through the holes before pulling the piece of clothing over his broad shoulders. His orange turtleneck peaked out from under the fluffy black coat and the layers surrounded him with warmth.

Eventually, the caffeine successfully flowed through his veins, and he felt his body lighten up. At the same time, his mind still felt tired, but not to the extent where his eyelids would feel heavy. A sigh escaped him as he finally dropped his body to sit on the bench. He thought he’d have a little while to rest, but his dreams were shattered with a few words. ”Five for minutes,” Some producer shouted, signaling for the stylists pick up the pace.

After arriving at the filming location, Jae Po got a better understanding of what the show was about. Outside, where they were supposed to be filming, was a haunted trail. There was a big sign and printed in bold was: “Korea’s Famous Haunted Trail, Terror Walk.” He was able to catch a glimpse of it while driving there. He assumed they would be going through it, whether it be alone or in groups. It was strange seeing a haunted-anything in early December.

It had been years since he last went through one of these. He had vague memories of laughing while his friends screamed and swore at the top of their lungs. The leader didn’t know whether he’d act the same way he did then. He just had to walk through the trail and watch what happens.

JISUNG!
*__*

The short time in the morning that they had to themselves was nice, but after getting ready, it was finally time to work. Jisung didn't know exactly what they were doing that day, and sadly their leader didn't either, but he was sure that they'd be briefed upon arrival. However, the closer and closer they got to filming time, the antsier he got. Jisung had saw the sign before they entered, he knew exactly where they were, but maybe that was just there to trick them? No, he wouldn't allow himself to be naive. Lots of idols went on scary variety shows, and by the looks of things, it was pretty obvious that Yours Truly was next. Jisung crossed his arms across his chest and let out a little huff. Would their managers really risk giving him nightmares that night just for the sake of a variety show? Yes, by the looks of things, they would. The quick movement caused his makeup stylists to make a mistake, so in return, she gave him a sharp glare in the mirror.

"Stop moving," she chastised. Jisung put his arms back down, then proceeded to pout. Thankfully, his makeup was over quickly, as all she needed to do was add a few touch ups, and he was free to go. Jisung made his way over to where the managers were waiting for everyone to get finished and got himself ready to complain.

"Hyung-nims why do we have to be on a scary show?" He asked, whining out the entire question. Jisung lived to annoy everyone, including their managers, as it was his second favorite thing to do right after dancing. "You know how I am with scary things. What if I get a heart attack during the filming? Or what if I get lost and then you guys never find me again?" The other's would probably cringe at his insistent questions and high pitched tone, but this technique always worked on his group members when it came to making them give in. "I'm a growing boy, I can't get scared so often or else it might permanently damage me in the future, ya know? I'm sure the other's agree with me." He ended his rant with a frown and turned to see if he could find another member to back him up on the matter.

Song-gi
mood: scared, annoyed | location: film set | mentions: Jae-po and Jisung
Once they left their small apartment, Song-gi was glad to have some more leg room. Even if it was for a short while, it was nice to be able to stretch freely. He sat in the car and made himself comfortable. I don't care where we go. As long as the car ride is long and I can get some sleep. Sleep: the only thing that was on his mind. Using his parka as a blanket and the window as a pillow, he was knocked out within a couple of minutes. For a while he wasn't able to wake up until the door next to him had opened. Signaling that the group had made it to their destination. He yelped out of shock as he tumbled to the ground.

The stylist assigned to him struggled to switch positions whenever Song-gi nodded off. She was only putting a bit of bb cream on his face, but that became difficult as his head kept falling down. When he opened his eyes, he spoke sluggishly, "Ah, sorry." The woman sighed a breath of relief once she finished with his hair and he was free to get up and leave.

He stood up, eager to go out hoping that the cold air would wake him up a bit. On his way over to the set, he spotted Jae-po and Jisung. Their leader seemed more curious than the younger Jisung, who's only purpose was to whine. "If you get a heart attack, I'll keep walking," he grumbled. Depressing his head into the fluffy collar of his jacket, he looked up to see what he was on about.

A haunted trail. His heart dropped in sync with his head. Song-gi was the type to enjoy horror content, but he wasn't particularly a fan of being scared or startled. It made his chest hurt from his heart beating so hard and fast. He detested that feeling. He's been to his fair share of haunted attractions. What he knew from those experiences was that the actors would always get up close and personal. Another thing to add to the list of reasons why he didn't like haunted attractions. Personal space is important to him. He already didn't have much of it to begin with at home. Only now, he would be freaked out by loud noises and sounds. He could only imagine the situations they would be in once they entered. starrymoment starrymoment

~4:00AM | it's really dark
mentioned remy, jae po, jisung, jaejoon, song-gi

Hyeseong left those orange peels he asked for from Remy in one of his training shoes. Hope that the citrus will fix the scent when he returned to use it later on.

He slept on Jae Po's shoulder on the ride to the location and closed his eyes again though steadied his head when faced with stylists. "Alright, you're good to go." they informed and does the last bit of hair arrangements before he bowed for their services.

As he's sent away, Jisung's voice rung clear up ahead and made his way in front. He sounded so cute whining about going on the show and the ill-effects it'll have on his young physical health.

Song-gi on the other hand grumbled. A tall imposing like him won't have any ghosts to fear.

The manager, slightly flustered as the show's staff looked on, responded in kind though obviously amused by the distress. The haunted trail is a good idea, they said. It suited their concept, they said. What- were they supposed to perform their title track Dreams nightmare ver. with extra high notes?

Maybe he should make that joke on camera.

"Jisung-ah," he called, an arm around his shoulder. "Don't worry, you have me to protect you."

Assuming they're not separated into groups. He was hoping for a controlled conga line, if all nine of them are shoved inside, they would effectively make a bubble to shield one person.

Hyeseong doesn't like most things associated with haunted houses, or in this case, haunted trails. Dark winding paths to whatever exit he's supposed to find while monstrous faces pop up in between, him ducking and continuing on his way. He's the kind of person who holds in his scream and use that energy to run out of dodge, his reactions would be more oddly bumbling than screaming.

Jaejoon would probably be the worse off out of all of them.

The set has a lit circular area right by the entrance with cameras and chairs prepared, definitely where they were going to introduce themselves. The host should be around here somewhere soon, to at least greet and familiarise themselves.

[div class=container] [div class=leftpic][/div] [div class=header]Yoo Han-sol[/div] [div class=text][div class=scroll]In the rush to get ready, Han-sol had only been able to eat a measly slice of bacon for breakfast. In the end, seeing the other boys eat well was enough for him. He managed to get ahold of the bathroom for long enough to wash his face, brush his teeth, and put on his outfit for the day: a forest green long-sleeve t-shirt, a white jacket, and black jeans. Before long, himself and the other boys were ushered out the door into the car.

When they'd arrived and stepped outside, the sun was still well below the horizon. The blinding lights of the city drowned out the stars in the night sky. However, Han-sol was able to spot a single twinkling star. "Woah, it's the north star!" He said to nobody in particular. He stood still and admired the landscape for a moment. Even though it was so early in the morning, Seoul was as busy as ever. At nighttime, when you couldn't see the fine dust in the air, the city actually looked rather picturesque.

The scenery inspired Han-sol to take out his phone and snap a picture. He uploaded it to the Yours Truly social media pages. The caption read, "The scenery is nice, right? It made me think of you~ ^^ - Yours truly, the world class photographer." He watched as comments began to flood in. The fans seemed puzzled as to who had uploaded the picture. Han-sol decided to leave it as a mystery, putting away his phone and following the others to Hair and Makeup.

Almost as soon as he sat down, the makeup artist began to smother Han-sol with a makeup sponge, and applied a light lip gloss as well. Then she took to aggressively brushing the knots out of his hair. Beside him, Jae Po and Song-gi seemed to be suffering from fatigue. Han-sol himself was wide awake. He had always been a morning person, so it wasn't difficult for him to stay awake during early morning schedules. But the end of the day was a different story. It was difficult for him to keep himself from falling asleep during late-night practice sessions. In fact, he was prone to passing out on his mattress without taking a shower at night.

When the makeup artist finally moved on, Han-sol decided to follow after Jae Po, who had wandered off. When he saw the sign for the haunted trail, he finally understood. So this was why they'd had to leave the house so early in the morning. He wasn't too worried about it, although he knew he'd be screaming his head off once the filming actually began.

Han-sol quietly snuck behind Jae Po. "Boo!" He yelled, wrapping his arms around him from behind. "I scared you, right?"

REMY

status: unsure

At first, he had been watching Hello Counselor for the first few minutes of the ride, then he switched off to ASMR and dozed off. Min-Cheol had made the mistake to fall asleep in the middle, smashing the members against the windows and doors every time the driver made a turn. He was woken up abruptly by a loud ad just as they had arrived. He didn't feel very refreshed after the nap. Instead, he just felt confused and out of place. He pouted his lips and furrowed his brows, looking for some kind of an explanation.

He found himself relaxing on a chair soon as a makeup stylist put on subtle lip color on him. Min-Cheol was feeling a bit insecure, even if they were going to be performing outside. He wanted to look perfect for their fans. He still wasn't really sure what they were going to do, he had missed the sign that some of the members saw due to falling asleep in the car. However, Jisung's whining in the end revealed to him that it was something scary. Min-Cheol was definitely not the fan of variety shows and it showed on his unconfident face.

He didn't react to what either Song-gi or Jisung said. The moment he had stepped under the camera, his personality changed. From the guy who enjoyed getting his cheeks pinched to the guy who'd try and not react to the scary things at all. In reality, fear and surprise wasn't something anyone, especially Min-Cheol could control. He was a bit unhappy with the fact that the image of the cool and stoic rapper he had been trying to build up until now would come crashing down.

When the stylists were done with trying to tame his bedhead hair, he stood up and followed Jae Po and Han-sol. Before that, he apologized for their behavior to the staff, bowing deeply with a stoic face. Rubbing his hands together, he was still trying to warm himself up. "So cold..." he'd normally huddle up to someone else, but since the cameras were going to roll soon, he refrained from showing skinship.

indent Since Jiao was one of the members that had woken up the latest and had then proceeded to both assist in cooking breakfast and then cleaning up after himself, his time in the bathroom was somewhat limited. Fortunately, he was able to squeeze in the scrubbing and cleansing of his face into the pinch he had to work with. It was important that he kept his skin healthy, whether it be through the rigorous skincare or through keeping himself well hydrated. Either way, Jiao was an idol and couldn't risk a breakout. He took a small sip of water from the tap, before brushing his teeth. The minty freshness felt unnatural and unwelcome in Jiao's mouth since it had been just moments ago that he had been chewing on one of the strips of bacon that he had cooked for breakfast. He managed to ignore the odd sensation, more concerned about increasing his speed. Unfortunately, he didn't have the time to rectify the tangled mess of white hair on his head that likened itself to a cloud. The only people that would be able to save it now were the stylists.
Jiao practically sprinted out of the bathroom and into the living room, narrowly avoiding a fist fight with the hideous curtain as it attempted to coil itself around his torso as he breezed past. Jiao was acutely aware of how pressed he was for time and that he and his other members would be departing imminently. Willing himself to keep his cool, Jiao searched for something presentable to wear, not that there was particularly a great deal of choice. Lightly humming as he searched through his belongings in order to keep himself calm, he was eventually able to decide on a pair of white jeans, fashionably ripped at the knee, paired with a pastel pink pullover and sneakers. Momentarily, he dithered, attempting to decide whether or not he should bring a coat with him on his journey. Ultimately, he decided in favour of bringing his coat with him - a somewhat puffy black one, with cosy looking faux-fur decorating the hood - noting the infamous frigid temperatures of this time in the morning.
Alongside his other eight members, he squeezed out of the door of their apartment. Upon stepping out onto the streets of Seoul, a cool blast of air hit his face, seemingly tightening every pore available. Hastily, Jiao drew the hood of his coat over his head, yet even through the layers of his bulky coat, the cold managed to seep into Jiao's skin, causing him to shiver slightly. Generally, he preferred cooler weather, but this felt a little extreme.
Seoul wasn't as dense as Shanghai was, but even then Jiao was completely captivated by how remarkable the nightlife of the city was. People were still bustling around, though in admittedly less frequency than in the daylight. Nonetheless, Seoul felt more like a well-oiled machine rather than a city, tireless, persevering deep into the night and pulling through into the early hours of the morning.
Jiao couldn't help but be grateful when the nine of them were tightly packed into the car. It was a little uncomfortable, sure, but Jiao relished in being able to warm up quickly regardless. He withdrew into his thick coat a little, closing his eyes in a form of bliss. He felt comparable to a swaddled baby. However, it was a little disorientating being in the car. Jiao wasn't exactly certain on who was sat beside him but was practically perched on someone's lap. Laps, maybe.
Due to the motion of the car, and the low growl of its engine, Jiao remained awake during the journey, despite his eyes remaining shut throughout the majority of the time they were traveling. He had overheard snippets of conversation of what they may be doing today back in the apartment but wasn't certain on anything. So concerned with creating wild and vivid scenarios within his head own about what the day could bring them, he missed the plethora of signs that the other members may have spotted outside the window as they drove past. Were there any award shows on today? No, he didn't think so. They were only a rookie group, anyway, and would have probably just been there to watch. Plus, waking up at the crack of dawn for an award ceremony that airs at night was a little farfetched. Despite this, Jiao liked this idea and ran with it, imagining that his group members and even himself were stood on stage, receiving an award.
Rather rudely, he thought, Jiao was torn away from his daydream when the car came to a rather abrupt halt. One by one, each of his companions were able to manoeuvre their way out of the vehicle, with Jiao sliding out in due course. He barely had time to absorb his surroundings, before being swept away by a stylist. Perhaps as he had anticipated, the ordeal of sorting out Jiao's hair was a difficult one, as the stylist mercilessly brushed and combed at it, trying her best to detangle the knots that had formed. To be frank, Jiao felt like chunks of his scalp were being torn out. His hair was already sensitive from where it had been dyed, and he was worried that after this, he'd only have a few patches of hair left.
What felt like a full can of hairspray later, they transitioned into make-up. This was not likely to be a fancy business, and they were more than likely going to be outside, Jiao had surmised, due to the distinct lack of make-up. Regardless of not much being applied to his face, it felt like he was being punched in the face by the make-up artist as she blotted primer onto his face. Luckily, Jiao didn't have to suffer long, as one coat of tinted chapstick later they were finished, ushering him away towards the rest of the group.
Over the journey to this location, Jiao's energy had plateaued a little, worry about what they were going to be asked to do briefly flickering across his mind, and whether or not he'd be able to keep up with his fellow members.
With free reign for the few seconds they had before filming, and in his current state of mind, subconsciously, Jiao gravitated towards Jisung. Jiao silently sidled up to his fellow group member's side, reaching out and wrapping his hand around Jisung's pinky finger.

JISUNG!
*__*

The managers gave short responses to each of his questions, obviously amused, but Jisung didn't really mind, as the little bit of attention was enough to keep him satisfied until the cameras started rolling. Of course, Song-gi had to add his own input to the situation, but instead of getting annoyed, Jisung just smiled. "Ahh, don't pretend that you don't love me, hyung. I know you'd be the first person by my side if anything happened." He was joking, but a big part of him liked to be optimistic and believe that it was true. Yes, Song-gi was a little hotheaded and loud at times, but deep inside, he was a caring guy, right? Hopefully so. Anyways, Jisung couldn't tell if his message reached his hyung, but he didn't bother to check, instead focusing his attention to Hyeseong and Jiao, who'd both seemed interested in attaching themselves to him in some way. He gave a bright smile, greatly enjoying being the focus point of anyone's attention.

"Of course you'd protect me, hyung. What else should I expect from my knight in shining armor?" Jisung playfully replied, reaching out to mess with Jiao's hair in the process. It seemed that the other male needed a bit of affection, and Jisung was happy to provide as much affection as necessary.

The filming would start soon, and even though he didn't have a specific preference on which member, or members, to be paired with, he silently hoped that it would be one of the two with him in that moment, or maybe even someone else, like Hansol. Although Jisung was a bit embarrassed to admit it to himself, he was still a little shy when it came to being on camera, especially when he had to speak and try to be entertaining. However, having someone fun and charismatic around would make things a lot easier for him and for fans who'd watch him awkwardly fumbling his way through the trail. Everyone in the group seemed to be good when it came to their outer personality and presence on camera, Jisung could only hope to be that confident one day. Until then, he's content with sticking to everyone else's side and being his loud, bubbly self behind the scenes.

Song-gi
mood: dejected, snarky | location: makeup stations | mentions: everyone
"Oh please," Song-gi hissed and rolled his eyes. After that small interaction, there was nothing much for him to do. More accurately, nothing much left that he wanted to do. He wondered what possible endeavors they would come across once the cameras began rolling. Who would he be paired with? How often would they get scared? How would they get scared? In a weird way, he wanted to know and experience it. Another part of him wanted to rush through it and be done as soon as possible.

Looking around only increased his boredom. He noticed the interactions between the members and felt his fear transition to despondence. Hyesong wrapping his arm around Jisung's shoulder, Han-sol grabbing Jae-po from behind, and Jiao wrapping a hand around Jisung's pinky. What is this? Song-gi wasn't one for skinship, especially when it came to those he wasn't very close with. Seeing the rest latch unto each other made him feel a bit dejected. It didn't make sense to him in the slightest. They should all just date already. I don't get it.

The crisp, cold winter air only made him feel worse. Eyes squinted and eyebrows furrowed, he sighed inside the collar of his parka. Another thought came to his mind and he figured that he'd return to the building. Maybe the others didn't hear that they were starting soon. He walked into the makeup area looking for the last remaining members yet to come outside. Jae-joon was the first he came across. "Yo, we're starting soon," he walked by him but he was sure he said it loud enough for him to hear.

Next came Mu-yeol. It took him a while to find him, but when he did, he didn't hesitate to make a snarky remark. "Hey, we're starting soon." Song-gi pointed toward his ear in a comedic fashion, "What, are you too busy flirting with your stylist to hear?" For some reason, he found it easy to pick on this guy. He was essentially beating a dead horse when it came to pushing his buttons, but he found no reason not to bother him. starrymoment starrymoment kouzcy kouzcy Garnet Garnet

Jae Po stuffed his freezing hands into his pockets in an attempt to salvage whatever warmth they still had. While standing in the cold, a few of the trail’s actors entered his line of site. He entertained the idea of entering the trail and seeing them in action. Soon they disappeared into the woods to presumably set up. This gave the leader a chance to let his gaze explore the set. The set up of the variety show seemed tacky compared to shows they’ve appeared on the past. Even the host looked cheap. But, he understood judging based on appearance was shallow. cheap bitch

”Boo!”

The leader's eyes widened, and he felt his body jolt up with shock. Multiple swear words slipped passed his lips as he felt the warm arms of the culprit snake around his waist. He spun around on his feet to face perpetrator. He wasn’t one to swear; he felt it would taint his respectable, mature image for the members. He regretted his word choice, but it was too late to fix it.

Jae Po finally got a good look at the man before him, and his mouth fell agape. Han-sol. He was jump scared by someone as harmless as a butterfly. His tight shoulders loosened up, and he left out a relieved sigh. He gave into his group mate and smiled warmly before pulling his hands from his pockets and returning the hug. “No -- of course you didn’t scare me,” He chuckled softly as he rested his head on top of the main vocals.

A frown appeared on his face as he noticed Remy standing alone in the cold. “Hey,” He began, directing his words at the lonely member. “Join the hug,” He said half-jokingly. “It’s too cold to stand there alone and doing nothing. Wouldn’t you rather come over here and stand with us?”

Jae-Joon knew that they were going to be outside on a very cold day, so he was going to get prepared and bring a nice jacket. He had this jacket that he was both mentally and physically attached to, that he would bring around all the time, and it was a white, fluffy, lamb-like sweater with a grey trim. It was a zip up so he could always take it off without pulling it over his head when he wanted to. And it wasn't all that white anymore, since he's had it for quite a while. He wished he would've brought some gloves as well, because he knew when he would get out there, and BE out there, his hands would be freezing cold.

He groaned quietly as he was stuck sitting in a makeup station for the time being, his hair being flat-ironed and slightly curled. He bounced his leg up and down impatiently as he saw his other group members leaving to go outside to meet up with Jae-Po. It probably came upon him because he was distracting the makeup artist by running that mouth of his. He would always ask questions, like, "What are you doing to my hair? Are you putting blush on?" He was probably impulsive too, but the artist would always respond to his questions, so he didn't really think much of it. His hot hair landed on his forehead, a pout on his face as he blew his hair upwards and out of his eyes.

"Are we almost finished, Miss?" He asked as he didn't look back, he just looked forward as he asked her.
"Almost, Joonie.. Be still, and you'll be out in no time." She whispered in a soft voice that could put Jae-Joon to sleep if he really wanted to.
"Alrighttt.." He groaned out like a child and he sighed softly, seeing a member or two pass by him, Han-sol and Remy. They seemed to be finished..

After Jae-Joon was finished with his makeup and his hair, he looked presentable. He looked at his makeup artist when he got out of his chair and stretched and he gave her a soft smile, nodding and saying, "Thank you." He then went outside, seeing the trail and such. Since Jae-Joon was a scaredy cat of basically everything, nothing seemed tacky to him. It was all real and in his face, so he couldn't say it wasn't, could he? He met up to see Jae-Po, Han-sol and Remy in a hug and he smiled, racing over to join in on the group hug.

"Finally finished." He whispered to his fellow members. "Where's everyone else?" He asked, lifting a slight brow and pulling away from the hug, stuffing his hands in his pockets.
