Hello!! You're all welcome to start posting here B)

Samantha

The light of the crystal ball illuminated her tattooed features as Samantha, the ever so accurate fortune teller, peered into it. It was completely empty, nothing but glass, but of course, she still pretended the most important image in the world was inside it. The boy asked what would happen if he went inside the forest, hmm? Sammy lowered her voice in a low hum, saying, “The crystal ball answers your call. Inside the Okoheller forest… I see… danger. Something waiting in the shadows… strikes! You appear frightened… ready to run… oh. The vision has disappeared. That is all I can tell you.” Sammy bit her lip, although it wasn’t noticeable in the dark, and jumped at the placing of coins at the table. Reluctantly, she took the coins from the impressed boy. He thanked her, slipping out of her small tent, as she sighed. Another one scammed out of their money. She was just about as bad as Mr. Bloom.

Face full of gloom, she stepped out of the tent, squinting her eyes at the sudden brightness. She hadn’t stepped out in at least an hour, sitting in the dark with a lighted up crystal and a shadow. She adjusted her robe that had been all scrunched up and fixed up her bun, staring at the forest near their village. When were they all going to stop chasing after the “ghosts” there? She shook her head and went back into her tent, awaiting the next one to step into her chambers.

Mason

Mason grinned at his small notebook, filled with the mysteries and wonders of the Okoheller Woods. Filled with collections of stories and mysteries of survivors, Mason was an expert about these stories. At this very moment, a gentlemen came streaming out of the woods, most likely to find the ghosts that were in there. Mason had no idea why he chose now to come into the woods: it was broad daylight. Mason didn’t know any ghosts that came out during the day. The man‘s face was pale white from fear, however, which was proof enough for Mason. Quickly jotting down in his notebook, “Ghosts that come out in broad daylight!” He went over to the man and interviewed him about his experience, although reluctantly. This man had a wholeee lotta pimples.

Mason wrote down every word like it was life itself, watching the man’s gawping reaction at the scene he just experienced. Same old, same old: flying objects, mysterious orbs of light that were probably ghost substances, illusions, random noises, etc. Mason examined the man to see if he was hurt. There were lots of scratches all over his arms and legs. It could be from the ghosts or simply from running away, and getting caught in the twigs and branches. Mason wrote down, “Attack: ???”. They could be friendly ghosts… or harmful ones. Still: all of the people who ventured into the woods made it out alive. Mason thanked the man for his time, aimlessly walking around town, eyes on the notebook. Maybe, today, he could finally venture into the woods. At night, of course: there would probably be more ghosts at night.

As Mason was walking, he saw a trash can in the corner of his eye. He stopped where he was and ran towards it, lifting up the lid. People- they were always so wasteful! Just because the bread isn’t warm and fresh anymore doesn’t mean you throw it all out! Hoping no one was around to catch him, Mason started rummaging through it. If he wasn’t here to get this food others waste, who would?

Meanwhile at the edge of the forest a car is speeding down the road, with a trailer tailing behind it, inside the car is a plump man, Frank is what he's called, he tries to focus on the road, but can't help wondering why there are scattered signs all reading the same thing, he then contacts the man in the trailer via radio. "Hello? Boss, it's Frank, I think we're coming up on a town names 'Okoheller woods'."

Back in the trailer, there is a man huddled over some sort of device, this is his medicine maker, there is also a book nearby he is reading, this book contains a list of pills, lotions, and other remides to the different sicknesses of the world. Mr. Bloom is this medicine-makers name, and he is quite the charismatic person, however, he can't always get the listed ingredients to his elixers, so sometimes he has to substitute ingredients, but that is minor details. Frank and he have been on the 'run' ever since the last town they went to practically caused them out with pitchforks and torches. A radio a bit further away speaks 'Hello? Boss it's Frank, I think we're coming up on a town called 'Okoheller woods'." Mr. Bloom thinks to himself, has he been to this town before? Surely not, he cannot remember an 'Oak and healer woods' he shruges and gets ready to present himself to the town.

The car slows down as it gets to the town, and parks itself near the edge of it. Frank gets out of the car and Mr. Bloom, out of the trailer, "Sheesh, what a dump." Mr. Bloom says to Frank and put of earshot of anyone else. Frank nods, "I'll get the stock ready." Frank says and wanders into the trailer. Mr. Bloom can't quite shake the feeling that he's being watched, and slowly walks back into the trailer.

Having spent most of his time in and around the house Warren finally decided to go out and explore the town he was in. He only got glimpses of it while being driven there. After doing his morning routine he still finds it a little strange doing things with only one of his arms being in a cast .headed to the kitchen to greet his caretakers for breakfast.
Mr.Juliet was sitting at the table he greeted him for the morning. He looked around and didn't see Mrs. Juliet she went out to get run do a couple of things and she probably won't be back for a while. Warren sat down and are with him. Mr.Juliet asked what were his plans for the day read another book maybe mess around in the backyard with the cat and dog. But Warren said he was going to go for a walk around the town. That surprised Mr.Juliet but made him smile right afterward happy to see the young man finally get out of the house. He then told him to be careful and not to go into the forest we don't need ghosts to take him away. Warren laughed it off and said yeah, I will not be careful not to get snatched up by a scary ghost. Then finished eating and walked out of the house telling Mr.Juliet he will be back later.

Just outside of the house he takes a deep breath and starts walking until he reaches the gate of the fence around the place looking around there was no one around." Ok, All I have to do is not get lost." Walking out of the gate he started walking to where he saw a store at. Doing the first pump with his good arm. Hoping to have a day while he explores the place." Maybe I'll find a buddy or two or go into the spooky forest." Taking a look at the forest as he walks on the path in town he is right.

Not at all was Ben worried about getting caught. That was because he wasn’t going to. By the time anyone must have noticed, he had already traveled a great length. Though he felt a little bad to scare his parents, rumors of these ghosts were locked in his sights. At all costs he not only planned to see them, but catch one on tape. Though he knew evidence is only as good as the equipment used to collect it. And good found footage was more rare than catching bigfoot on a camera that is not literally a potato. Of course, he came prepared. With the best night vision camera costing too many months worth of allowances. he had trudged through the forest. Having walked for hours, his legs started to quake, and so Ben finally came to a stop at the edge of a creek somewhere deep in the forest. Dripping in sweat and practically huffing out steam, he picked up some water to splash in his face before laying in a grassy patch full of dandelion, resting for only a moment before rolling to sit up as he figured this was a good spot as any to set up camp.

With so many thick branches overhead, the shade in this area was dark, perfect to keep hidden. And off beside the ditch that made the creek, there was a raised bit of earth that had a hole in its wall with a curtain of roots hanging down from a dead oak. A natural shelter. He’d simply add some brush to give more camouflage, but once he was finished with that, Ben curled up inside to rest and wait. Yet he was finding it difficult to sleep with all his excitement for the night.

"Ivie..?" An uncertain, young voice called out into the forest. Upon hearing nothing in response, her body took a step forward before pausing, as if not sure. She had never really ventured far outside of the coven, if at all. Especially into the forest surrounding said coven, that had always been her sister's doing (even after their parents clearly stated not to). Evie could never understand the appeal of leaving, all there is to find out there is fauna and maybe some creepy townsfolk who's curiosity got the best of them. Like Ivie.

Evie sighed, able to clearly picture her twin's infamous grin. It was like there was something incredible out there that Evie was unable to see. Ivie had too much of an adventurous spirit, and one day it would surely get her into trouble. Evie just knew it. Which is why she was going so far as to do something like leaving..which was a struggle. She would definitely get into trouble, wouldn't she? Leaving like this without telling anyone..how did Ivie even do it without a second thought? ..but, really, it's been too long since Evie had last seen her around today, and she's most definitely wandered through this way again, Evie would be willing to bet on it. She just wants to hurry up and find her already so she can be back in the safety of the coven.

Sighing yet again, Evie tries to ready herself mentally as she starts to make her way slowly through the forest. Ivie..what are you up to this time?

At the same time, Ivie herself was busy being perched up top on one of the many trees within the forest, her legs dangling and a breeze going through her locks of white hair which were pulled into two low pigtails. She gazed curiously down below like she was in waiting. Which maybe she was, technically. Ivie wanted to have some fun with the spells that she knows (fairly well, sort of) and was searching for the perfect target, which would really just be anyone who passed by over here. The wait was really boring though, and Ivie was about ready to give it up. The forest had many other things to offer for entertainment after all. She wouldn't make herself stick around if she didn't have to.

Cassandra was out in the forest, gathering some herbs. The witch had been getting more than a little side-eye for her alchemical work, but since nobody could actually prove that she was interested in poisoning the rest of the coven- maybe because she honestly wasn't- they had to let her continue by the coven's own laws. "Let's see... Destroying angel, nightshade, amanita, and a little bit of hemlock. That should be good enough for a few tests. Nothing's worked so far, but we'll see how it goes."

Suddenly, there was the sound of rustling around her. She looked around to see a man she didn't know building a primitive shelter. A townsperson! She tried to slip away, but invisible didn't mean inaudible or intangible. Stepping on a dried-out log, she halted in horror as it cracked with the sound of a thunderbolt. The breath froze in both her mouths as she waited to see if she had been heard.

Just as he was about to fade into a dream, hearing the loud, out of place sound of cracking wood made his eyes open wide and every hair stand on end. It seemed a little early for ghosts to be so active in light, but that thought wasn’t the first to cross his mind as he silenced himself, remaining still as his hand slid into the right pocket of his jacket. He held tightly to a dagger, though hoping not to have to use it. Although he was here to find ghosts, he knew there might be other hunters lurking around. Nothing personal, but in his opinion, humans could be a lot scarier than ghosts.

And as much as he would love to see a ghost at this moment, the timing couldn’t have possibly sucked more. He only had the one night vision camera and it was still in his bag! Not to mention it was no ordinary camera. The lenses were inside a pair of goggles. So to say even if he had it on, The thing could only be used at night.

“Fudge!” He snapped at himself just below a whisper, so peeved at the thought of hypothetically missing evidence. And stupidly, he purposely left his phone at home. Now whether this presence he felt was actually a ghost, an animal, a random person, or an ax murderer, he had to confront it.

“Hello?” He called out to whatever or whoever was out there.

Footsteps quietly traced Theourgia's way through the forest as she searched for things of interest. The leaves gently crunched under her, with the hood of a jacket she stole from her younger sister sitting upon her head, making her invisible. Though she was meant to be looking for various plants to forage, she was more interested in looking for townspeople to mess with. She hopped between trees, trying to keep her presence on the downlow for the moment. She slowed down as she neared a particular tree, stopping to catch her breath underneath the feet of the small child hidden within the tree. She pulled down her hood, returning to a visible state. "Wow, I really have no stamina," she panted out. Dirt softly scattered as she sat down with her knees under her.

Her sister, however, was sat within the coven's camp, hanging around the exits. She brushed her hand through her hair. Rosa was patiently waiting for her elder sister to come back. While Rosa particularly wasn't the kind of person to want to go out herself too much, she was relatively excited to hear the stories her sister would tell her once she got back to the camp. The stories were mostly ridiculous. She was prepared to go find her right now, though, just to make sure Theourgia was safe. She understood that, growing up in a coven, having no magic severely disadvantaged her sister. They didn't really learn how to do much without magic.

Rosa looked behind her to the rest of the camp, and decided that if Theourgia wasn't back soon, she'd go find her then. She walked away from the exit and headed over to their family's house.

Cassandra heard the voice and slowly moved away. And then, things went from bad to worse. Much worse. Not looking where she was going, she tripped over a fallen log and fell to the ground with an 'Oof'. And to top it all off, her invisibility hood fell off, leaving her looking like an unattached head lying on the ground. If the poor schmuck bothered to poke his own cranium out of his little hidey-hole, he'd probably get the shock of his life as she was exposed figuratively and literally. This... wasn't good.

Ivie's eyes had closed before slowly opening once again, boredom flooding throughout her entire body. She could just about fall out of this tree if nothing exciting happened within the next few seconds. Lifting her arms over her head, Ivie stretched as her eyes wandered to down below in search again -- and there it was. An opportunity. How didn't she see it before? Her eyes lighting up in excitement, a grin spread across her face as she proceeded to set off a spell.

Within seconds, an ear-piercing shrill sound rang throughout the forest. It sounded similar to that of someone blowing a whistle really loudly. Ivie couldn't help but to laugh as the sound slowly faded, an Alarm spell -- perfect for taking people by surprise when they least expect it. Ivie would know as she's pestered her sister with it ever since she learned it. Proceeding to quickly make her way down the tree, Ivie looked over at her chosen victim with glee. "Hahaha! You picked the wrong tree to mess with!" She said, looking quite proud of herself. She put her hands on her hips. "Well, were you surprised? Were you?!" Now, she seemed to just be looking for some kind of praise.

Meanwhile, Evie had only just left and already she was hearing concerning noises. Jumping in surprise, she made an attempt to use that invisibility spell she had been taught on instinct. Of course, it wasn't perfect. Parts of her body still remained visible, much to Evie's own annoyance. None of her spells seemed to work the way she wanted them to. Although, if she were like this..maybe it could ward off some townsfolk? Though, she'd much rather not run into any..

Sighing, Evie decided to just keep pressing onward. At the very least, she wasn't totally visible at the moment. That was good enough.

While Ben’s heart raced with his curiosity, he dug his knuckles just enough into the dirt to bounce out of the small space. Yet the beating in his chest would stop as his amber irises locked dead on at Cassandra. Instantly, a high-pitched squeak popped out of Ben. And simultaneously, he stumbled back in surprise, tripping back on a low stump, and nearly falling rear-first on the sharp creekside rocks if not for grabbing hard onto bark. Frozen with ax murders dancing in the back his mind, the whole time his stare never wavered from the lone head. He couldn’t believe what he was seeing or knew what to think. At first he thought it had to be a Halloween decoration, but it started moving and he felt dizzy.. like he was going to be sick.

Frank:
Back in town, or more specifically, in Mr. Bloom's trailer, Frank is gathering up pills, among other things, and preparing to sell them on the streets with Mr. Bloom, who, well, let's just say he won't be that enthusiastic about it, well, in this town at least. Frank had a bit more of a positive outlook, sure Mr. Bloom calls it a 'dump' among other things, but Frank looks at it like a little, well, messy, yes, but hey, can they really judge? Maybe something else is going on in here, something so important they can't clean stuff up, kind of reminds him of his hometown. Frank tries to remember if he's been here before, Mr. Bloom says they've never tried to sell stuff here, so no one will recognize them and try to chase them out, well, Frank thinks long and hard...Yeah, they've been here before, but Frank won't tell Mr. Bloom, he doesn't want the boss to get mad at him, after all. Mr. Bloom walks into the trailer, "You know, I just had the weirdest feeling, it was like someone was watching me." Frank nods "Maybe people wouldn't look at you so much if you didn't dress all fancy" Mr. Bloom gets flustered and sputters "Why you, you.." Frank notices Mr. Bloom getting angry "Aw, boss, I didn't mean it" one of Franks many lines to try desperately to stop Mr. Bloom from getting angry "Ah, yes, of course you didn't, I couldn't possibly be angry at you for too long." Frank sighs out of relief and the posse leaves. Walking through town, either they were looking in the wrong place or no one was outside, eventually they came to a tent of sorts, Frank always liked out of the ordinary entertainment, so he thought 'Why not?' and asked Mr. Bloom "Hey Boss, could I check the tent out?"

Mr. Bloom:
Mr. Bloom hates everything currently, he hates this gosh darned town, this gosh darned feeling he has, and most of all, gosh darned Frank. First he insults his amazing fashion choices and now he asks to spend money on a different service that, in all honesty, he was probably going to try and scam. "Frank, no, we need to make money, for essential commodities, like food, and whatnot, you like eating don't you?" he thinks sometimes talking to Frank is worse than talking to a four-year-old. "Please, I'll pay for it with my own wages" That's funny, Mr. Bloom doesn't pay Frank, nevertheless, Frank seems pretty enthusiastic about this, so he might as well just do it, not worth arguing over anyway. He sends Frank to that ridiculous tent. Mr. Bloom will just sell his stuff on his own. Eventually Mr. Bloom get to the edge of the town, nothing sold, what rotten luck. Once Mr. Bloom starts walking back, however, it's a different story, he makes quite a few bucks, selling to various peoples. Once Mr. Bloom gets back to the trailer he puts all his cash in his safe, sighs, and hums a little tune to himself, eventually saying to himself "Ah, I love this town, what was it's name again, ah yes 'Broken Teller woods' what an odd name."

Shit. That about summed up Cassandra's feelings on the whole mess. But she wasn't good enough to wipe the poor guy's mind without leaving him a drooling vegetable, so she had to play this out. The witch dispelled the magic around her, revealing herself. She wore hiking boots, jeans and a high-cut top with a bare midriff. Covering her whole chest meant tops usually got caught in her second pair of teeth.

The raven-haired sorceress tried to make light of her situation. "So, come here often?"

withinasapphire withinasapphire

Startled, Theourgia quickly covered her ears as the sound went through the forest. Once it was over, she looked up to where the sound came from and watched it come down from the tree. Oh, it's.. some kid. She scanned the girl once she reached the ground with a mildly upset face. So much for being hidden, I guess. She blinked, recognizing the girl as someone from the coven.

She nodded, confused at the girl's ask for praise. "Of course you scared me, you might as well have destroyed my ears, too!" she scoffed. "Were you really just waiting there to scare someone?" It's not like Theourgia should really be talking, though, since she herself was planning to scare others, too. Though, much more tactfully, in her opinion.

Not waiting for a response, she continued, "Why are you out here? Don't you belong to the coven? You should be at camp." Her demeanor became less confident the more strict she was attempting to act. She wasn't really planning on chastising some kid in the forest.

Once Rosa reached her family house, extending her hand out toward the door, she paused, hearing the quiet, whistle-like noise pierce the air. She turned towards the exit of the camp with a concerned look. What witch was using Alarm in the forest? It wasn't that close, either, with how quiet it was. She thought for a moment, before turning invisible and running out of the camp. Maybe whoever used it was in trouble?

Samantha
The Plaid Man The Plaid Man

As she waved the customer goodbye, Samantha let out a sigh of relief as she adjusted the position of the crystal ball on the table and the piece of paper next to it, which showed what Sammy did in her tent: a glimpse of the crystal ball for two dollars, palm reading for three, and a protection against ghosts for a day for two. There used to be more, but nobody ever bought them, so she just didn’t use them anymore. Suddenly, she got a flash of light from the tent opening up, as she jumped, surprised, then smiled nervously towards the entrance, thinking, “Oh great, another one scammed from their money.” She looked at the man, curious, as she thought that she faintly recognized him. She never saw him around town, so why did she get the feeling she knew him? She shook her head, laughing quietly. “Good day, sir. Sorry, you quite surprised me. Welcome to my fortune telling tent. You may call me Samantha, or Sammy, if you’re more comfortable with that. Would you care to sit down and look at my prices?”

She put her hand underneath the table, flicking a switch under there that turned on mysterious lights throughout the tent: dim, white substances. She spread her arms to motion for the man to sit down and relax himself, preparing for a session of acting, faking, and most of all, scamming out as most as possible.

Mason
Stern LuLuLu Stern LuLuLu

Mason put the lid back on the trash can, picking up the food that he dropped on the ground. So maybe he didn’t just stop with one trash can, and went on a hunt throughout town for food. It was worth it. Right there, in his arms: dry bread, slightly expired cookies, barely used juice boxes. He wished he had a box, or even better, a backpack that he could put this all into. It must’ve looked pretty weird from another one’s point of view: scratch that, a lotta weird. People were avoiding him left and right on the town path- probably because he just dumpster dived, and he probably smelled like trash. Well, if that bothered them, it didn’t bother him. He hummed Christmas songs, adjusted the supplies in his arms, and walked around town, aiming towards his house, waiting to give his food to his dad.

As he was walking, he caught eye of a boy he’d never seen around here before- and Mason would remember seeing him. It’s not in any way a particularly large town. After a while, sooner or later, you get to know everyone. Mason definitely didn’t remember this boy. He would’ve remembered his cast. “Maybe he’s new,” Mason thought, brightening up at the idea. New people were always interesting around here. Skipping over to the boy slowly with a bundle of random supplies in his hands, he stopped in front of him, beaming.

“Hiya!” Mason looked up at the boy. “Are you new here? I’ve never seen you before. What’s your name? I’m Mason.” He adjusted awkwardly to grab a cookie from the small package, extending it out to the stranger. “Cookie?”

If this was a ghost, it sure as hell was the weirdest one he’s ever seen! Well, it would be the only one he’s seen, but still. Something about this person didn’t seem to fit the bill for a spector. He could feel it in his gut while trying to make sense of what he was facing. Once just a head, now a full figure, she seemed alive, and dressed normally, but her eyes were quick to capture him. It was only now that it dawned on Ben, there were possibly more than ghosts out here because it appeared this chick definitely wasn’t human. And with that in mind, the biggest grin grew on the boy’s face as he held himself back from squealing like the total supernatural-loving fanboy he was.

“You’re not a ghost, are you??” He jumped, too excited by this not to completely miss her question.

While on his walk to look at the town Warren thought that this place was a bit small but that wasn't a bad thing. Still, a bit lost in his thoughts on what might be going on around the place he didn't even notice when some random guy popped up in front of him. He was taken aback by this a little before composing himself. The fellow introduced himself and asked if he was from around here and offered a cookie. Warren give him a bit of a look and figured it was harmless. "I'm Warren and I got here, not too recently. Right now, I am just walking around to get a feel for the place. I've been at home for reasons." Wiggling his broken arm. Then he takes the cookie and starts eating it. Thanks for the cookie. "So do you know your way around if so I would love a guide? When I will pay you back for your time."

"A ghost? Is that what they think we are?" Cassandra gave a hearty laugh at the mere thought of such. "No, no. I'm a witch, a mistress of the dark magicks. I was gathering some ingredients for alchemical experiments I've been working on."

"Cassandra Sinclair, proud member of the Okoheller Coven and, I guess, Princess of Gluttony. At your service, my friend."

When the boy introduced himself, Mason thought about extending his hand, but he wasn’t so sure about that, with the broken arm and all. He just smiled welcomely at the one in front of him, saying, “Warren, huh? I like that name. Sounds fancy.” He nodded understandingly when Warren explained why he had been home. Mason couldn’t imagine what his life would be like if he broke something. Everything about him, he needed. He eyes Warren’s arm guiltily, wondering how he got the cast.

When the boy took the cookie, Mason yet again awkwardly adjusted himself so the supplies for better in her arms, widening his eyes when Warren suggested paying him for guiding him. “Oh!” Mason frowned. “You don’t have to do that. It’s just showing you around.” Mason span around, looking at the town, then back at Warren. “What kind of things would you like to see? There’s a really good bakery that makes the best pastries, or a barber shop, if you’re interested in getting a trim. Ooh!” Mason’s eyes lit up, shining at the thought of what he was thinking. “The fortune teller tent! That’s my favorite spot around here. It’s usually really busy, though, so you might not wanna visit that right now.” He eyed Warren curiously, asking, “Do you believe in ghosts?”

"A ghost? Is that what they think we are?" Cassandra gave a hearty laugh at the mere thought of such. "No, no. I'm a witch, a mistress of the dark magicks. I was gathering some ingredients for alchemical experiments I've been working on."

Ben could hardly contain his joy. Although he may not have found what he came here for, what he wound up with was just as - if not a million times more thrilling! On one hand he couldn’t believe the magic he had witnessed yet he had no reason not to. Now he didn’t know if this witch was dangerous, she didn’t seem so, but that didn’t quite phase Ben, as he was too busy bubbling, just about to overflow with questions that danced in his head.

Bravely, he jumped to shake the stranger’s hand. “Nice to meet ya, your gluttonous majesty, I’m Ben! Ben Bueller!” He said with a bright sunny smile, already hoping Cassandra would let him join in with her witchy activities. To say he was intrigued would be the world’s biggest of understatements.

“Soooooooo… let me get this straight. These “ghosts” everyone’s all fired up about is.. you guys?” He asked, referring to the coven, though a bit bummed by the prospect of finding no spirits.

Ivie stared at her chosen victim for a moment, tilting her head to the side a little she observed the older girl's facial markings, finally noticing them. Ohh, so she's a witch too..

She grinned, snickering at the girl's comment. "Mission success!" She cheered when she had confirmation that she had in fact managed to scare her. Her grin soon disappeared however when it became clear that this was turning into some kind of scolding. Though, the girl almost didn't seem confident about it?

Ivie was now pouting. She wouldn't drag her back, would she? She hasn't even finished exploring today. "I'm tired of being in the camp!" She whined. "It gets sooo boring sometimes. The forest is way funner! There's so much here, and I haven't even seen all of it!" Ivie kicked at the dirt covering the forest floor. "You sound just like my sis, she's a big stick in the mud! Thinks the forest is dangerous or something..pfft, I could easily take on anything with my spells! Couldn't you?" Continuing on speaking without stopping, Ivie jumped up and grabbed onto one of the tree's branches, swinging slightly. She gave a small frown. "I don't even know if my parents ever really, truly left the camp.." She muttered.

Evie felt like she had walked quite a bit. It didn't matter where she looked at this point, the forest just looked the same. How did Ivie even get around in here? Leaning a hand against one of the trees, she used her other hand to rub at one of her eyes. She felt like she had been going in circles at this point. Evie stared down at the ground, worry now beginning to really settle in. Maybe she should have told someone she was leaving. Though, she's sure she would have not been allowed to leave in the first place if someone knew..

Blinking, Evie began to feel something tickling her hand. Looking over, her eyes went wide when she noticed it was a small spider crawling up her hand. Letting out a loud scream, she shook her hand immediately, hoping that it would fall off. To her immense relief, examining her hand again it seems she had managed to shake it off. This is the last time I ever come into this place! Evie thought in a huff, storming through with renewed vigor to find Ivie and get out as soon as possible.

Frank:
Frank didn't think there was a fortune teller in this tent, but, hey, it was a pleasant surprise, he noticed her jump at his entering, but didn't give much thought towards it, everyone gets scared once and a while. He thought for a moment if he had encountered this townsperson before, he can't quite remember, it had been quite some time since he had visited Okoheller woods, ah, good times those were, when Mr. Bloom and Frank were just starting their business, year of...sometime in the past 5 years he believes, where does the time go, on the outside, Frank seems to be deep in thought, he snapped back to reality and just catches "-care to sit down and look at my prices?" he wasn't really looking to have a fortune read today, he wasn't that superstitious anyway, but why not just talk, get a general feel for the public, local customs and whatnot. "Hello, my name is Fredrickson Pickelton, but my friends call me Frank." he sticks his hand out, he thinks, for Okoheller woods at least, it might be a good change of pace to start knowing the people before Mr. Bloom and he could get chased out with an angry mob chasing them like the last town. "I am not looking to have any sort of fortune or anything, I was just wondering if you wanted to talk"

The Plaid Man The Plaid Man

Sammy looked at the man curiously, faintly remembering the name “Frank” that looked quite similar to him. Of course, he could just be a revisiting visitor to explore the Okoheller woods. The town got quite a lot of people who believed in superstition. She put out her hand and shakes his softly before letting go, nodding understandingly and somewhat he gratefully when he didn’t want a fortune. He looked like a sweet man- she wouldn’t want to get any money off of him. She quietly wondered why he wanted to choose to talk to someone in a tent, however, and not a townsperson walking around town. She’d usually see talkative kids around there that are willing to talk to anyone. She cupped her hands around her crystal ball, carefully placing it on the ground next to her so she could talk to the man named Frank without a big piece of crystal between them. She guessed that she kind of wanted to forget she was a fortune teller for a second and just talk, too.

“Of course. What would you like to discuss?” She smiled at him, wondering about topics to speak about. “Would you like to just talk about the town? Or the Okoheller woods? That’s a famous discussion. Usually everyone comes here for that.” She paused, wondering about the man. “Have you come here for the paranormal?” She squeaked as the stomping of something moving came outside the tent, coming and going. She breathlessly laughed and looked at the man in front of her.
