The Kingdom
Raoria
Raoria is a moderately sized kingdom. Most of its land is left in its natural state with only four major cities, and fifteen smaller towns and villages spread throughout the country sides. They are a simple nation, living in peace for the most part, doing their due diligence to make sure that relations were well maintained with their neighboring countries.

The royal family resides in a large castle, Sebre, that rests just left of the heart of the country which is a large forest. They are known as the peace keepers in tense times not wanting conflict because they know they don't have the people needed to actually win a war. It is a primarily quiet kingdom with four major celebrations a year; one for each season. And they happily trade food and goods with neighboring countries for the betterment of their own country.

Lineage
Father: Jaylon (King)
Mother: Catherine (Deceased)
Oldest Brother: Calum (31)
Older Sister: Lynn (28)
Older Brother: Abel (25)

Personal History
As the last in line for the throne, Hayden got lucky in a sense where all eyes were not on him. He was able to study what he wanted, develop and drop hobbies as it suited him. He could go off on a vacation to a small town and most would have no clue who he was.

Growing up, he'd never wanted for anything except every animal he'd ever come across. Horses, dogs, even common farm animals. He loved them all. That love faded over time as he grew older and developed real hobbies that didn't include 'rescuing' farm animals and trying to bring them back to the castle. The male loved puzzles, riddles and horseback riding the most, and every available moment he could outside of the castle grounds in the town making short term friends, but long term memories. He wasn't the brightest of his siblings, but he was clever. He was loyal and thought of himself as a mostly honest and trustworthy person.

(as time passes more will come)

Name: Lucius Marivaux
Age: 30 (he has been so for many years)
Height: 6'
Body: Lithe
Appearance:

Lucius has long white blonde hair and lovely blue eyes that radiate a sense of arrogance despite not being arrogant. He is tall and slender, his hands well shaped and perfect to play an instrument like a piano or harpsichord had he so desired to learn. He dresses in the finest suits but there is something that appeals to his inner snob that has him dress to the nines for nearly every occasion. His ears are pointed and has small fangs that resemble a kitten more than a ferocious beast.

The Kingdom
Rökræn
Rökræn is a large kingdom hidden behind walls of magic until the King (and previously the Queen) lets them down in order to do trade and conduct business. He can also let select humans into his realm, usually trapping them until they can somehow outsmart him or figure a way out. His kingdom is filled with many magical and bizarre creatures, all of which are mostly loyal to him and him alone.

Lineage

Mother: Lucretia Sanpéché Marivaux (deceased -- witch)

Personal History

Lucius was born from the magic his mother had discharged in a great sphere. He incubated in this magic and then he was born. A fae, the first fae in a very long time. His mother was a witch, a very powerful witch. He and she were both blessed by the heavens, that is why he had this gift, and he truly believes that is the reason because his mother, the perfect and most lovely being in his eyes, had said so and her word had always been gospel to Lucius. On his mother’s passing, Lucius grew lonely and cold, his life was absent of pleasure, the things that once made him happy no longer fulfilled his wants. He was no longer happy. He had been searching the kingdoms, in the guise of a cat, for many long years, leading random strangers into his kingdom, waiting for ‘the one’ to find him at the center of his kingdom, passing through many traps to get there. The one who can pass the trials, he believes is a companion worthy of immortality and the second throne to his kingdom.

Other Information
Lucius can turn into a cat at will, but he can only travel out of his realm and into the human realm during the night, he can only return to his realm on the full moons. So, when he leaves, he leaves for a month at least, or a full moon cycle. He also has fangs and ears allowing him to hear better than a normal human and his fangs offer another form of protections as they can be used for defense if he had to use resort to violence. He is ignorant of the outside world. He also lacks empathy, never being around humans to know what is acceptable or unacceptable. He assumes that everyone is similar to him and when he learns otherwise he is confused.

The day seemed to be a promising one. The morning had been warm and sunny and started like any other day. Hayden had woke up and gone about his normal morning routine. He dressed and went down to have breakfast with his siblings. They all talked about their plans for the day. His father and Calum were going to meet with some people form the Citadel. Lynn had plans with a man who she believed was the current love of her life. They were going for a carriage ride in the park. Abel was going to work on sparring with some of the knights.

All of this was fine with Hayden, it meant he was free to do whatever he wanted. He could go out and gamble, drink, or just go on a horseback ride through the woods nearby. The world was his oyster! Oh he could always go down to the coast. He hadn't done that in a while. And it did look like the the day was going to be a bright and sunny one. As they all parted ways form the table, Hayden headed to the kitchen to have a lunch packed for him. As that was prepared the male went out to the stables to prepare his horse.

Elara was his mare. She was a solid chestnut brown with a splatter of white spots along her right flank as if someone had flicked paint at her. He'd loved this horse since the moment he'd first set eyes on her and the Prince made a point to visit her every day to give her a treat. "You ready for an adventure today, beautiful?" He asked as he ran his hand down her jowl and kissed her nose. The horse whinnied excitedly and seemed to give a little excited dance in her stall. Hayden laughed and nodded, "Alright alright. Let's get you dressed."

He got her saddled, and put her bridle on before he walked her out into the sunlight as she pranced happily beside him. He agreed with her, ti was going to be a great day. He could see one of the kitchen maids making her way to him, a basket in her hands which would be plenty for the both of them and probably then some. He strapped the basket to her saddle and climbed onto Elara's back, waving to the maid and one or the stable boys before he urged the horse to be on her way. "Let's go!"

The trip to the coast had been smooth and bright and sunny. Unfortunately the sunshine didn't last long once they got there. A storm rolled in and he was forced to take them to a pub near by for shelter. His boots were soggy, but at least they were both out of the rain. She was in a stable, and he was surrounded by.. drunken sailors. The prince took a seat at the bar, and gave the bartender a cheerful hello as he ordered an ale and was perfectly content to people watch while the thunder rolled and the rain poured.

There was a cat that followed a patron into the pub. It was raining outside. That cat just so happened to be Lucius and tonight was the full moon. He had to get back to his castle or wait another entire month before he could reenter it's walls. He jumped up on the counter top and let the bartender pet him. He often visited this bar actually. He had come in, since it was just a mile or so away from his kingdom's entrance. He pounced around, looking for someone to take back with him. He was awfully bored and it had been a century since he last found someone to let into his kingdom, which had only ended in disappointment when the trials killed him so early into the game. He meowed to get some attention from the patrons before nuzzling against some of their hands. He sat down and looked around when no one would pet him. He knew that the world outside of his kingdom was dangerous, that's one of the reasons his mother made it so he couldn't go out as himself, so nobody tried to harm him, and that's why she made the trials for her son.

Most of the patrons in the bar weren't 'good company' so he jumped down and rushed under feet, narrowly avoiding feet smashing on top of him. He saw one man stick out above the rest however. One person was definitely different. He stalked back towards him at the bar, wondering how he had missed him just moments ago. Perhaps he had just walked in since he was still damp from the rain. Lucius butted his head against this man's hands and lay down before rolling onto his side and purring. He wanted attention and if this man was nice, and since he had a nice sword attached to his hip, he would be a great candidate to get through the trials and rule beside him. How he wanted someone to rule with him. It was so lonely in his kingdom with nobody but his goblins to talk to. They were sort of stupid, and he wanted intelligent, intellectual stimulating conversations! Oh, how he craved them, longed for someone to help him fight the loneliness. Someone to lift some of the burden of his kingdom's ruling and care off of his shoulders. He looked up at the prince, or at least he seemed like a prince to Lucius, with large blue eyes, eyes too smart for a simple cat.

His hand had rested on the bar with his glass. He wasn't listening to anything in particular but there was a girl across the bar who he could tell kept trying to grab his attention. He kept avoiding looking in her direction as much as he could and was shocked when he felt something touch his hand. Oh god! She'd came over! Turning his head he was surprised to see her still sitting down there, smiling at him, and looked to see what had come in contact with him. "Awwwhh." He cooed when he saw the cat.

He turned in his seat to face the bar, and moved his head to scratch around the cat's ears and under his chin, "Hello kitten! Aren't you beautiful!" He murmured as he smiled at him. He knew it was a full grown cat, but most animals were babies to him. Cats were kittens, dogs were puppies, ect. "What's your name? You hiding from the rain too? You live here?" He asked as he continued to pet the kitten, "You're adorable." He continued to coo.

"Awh, is that your cat? Cute, what's his name?" A female voice rang from behind him. He knew exactly who it was without even turning around.

He turned and gave her a friendly smile, "Nope. Just a cat." He said before he turned back and scratched between his ears once more. "I was actually just leaving, Nice meeting you though." He told the girl with a second quick smile before he stood. His hand reached to run down the cat's back, "And it was nice meeting you too." His smile for the cat was much more genuine than the ones he'd given her.

He dropped a few coins on the bar beside his glass and went to make his way back through the crowd. Well it hadn't stopped raining, but he wasn't going to linger for her try to sink her claws into. He had no desire to catch whatever diseases she possibly had. When he did get outside he ran through the downpour to the stable and gave Elara a loving pat on her hind quarters. "Looks like I'm gonna keep you company for a bit." He told her as he moved to take a seat in the back corner. It smelled like horses and manure, but he still preferred it to being hit on by tavern prostitutes.

Jumping off the table before the prostitute could touch him, Lucius waited by the door until someone else came in or left and he slid out then. He scampered quickly towards the stables. If the man inside was a prince like he suspected, then he would no doubt have a horse. He meowed when he found the man with his horse. It stunk in the stables, but it was worth it. He jumped off the top of the gate to keep the horses in and brushed his head against the prince's leg. He curled up on him after crawling over him and curled up in his lap. His tail flicked rather hard and smacked the prince in the leg until he pet him.

Hayden smiled cheerfully when the cat appeared and ran his hand along the creature's spine, "Hello again! Decided to keep us company?" He gave a quiet chuckle, his fingers running along the cat's soft fur. His eyes stared out at the rain, still seemed like there was no sign of it letting up, but he knew it would clear up.

He had a cat and a horse to keep him company. The horse kept chewing on his hair, he knew she was hungry. Once, he stood up and removed the basket from her saddle, resuming his seat and opening it. "Let's see what we have for lunch huh?" He asked them both as he pulled out a sandwich and some apples. He gave the apple to Elara and pulled a few pieces of meat from inside of his sandwich offering them to the cat.

"Where is home for you? You live around here? Have a nice little family? I bet they love you." He smirked as he ran his hand along the cat's coat again. It looked like a well cared for cat. Beautiful coat, looked healthy. Probably had a little girl waiting for him at home, he was a lover. He'd had a few cats at home that wondered the palace grounds, but there was plenty of room for one more stolen cat.
