So I got a notification about a roleplay interest on a thread. Thinking it was mine, (and not reading the title like the dumbass I am) I replied to the comment.


A minute later, I notice it WASN'T my thread and began to panic















I deleted the comment...

Don't worry, it happens.
If someone gets upset over it, the best option depending on what goes down is either a light apology, or if a response is aggressive enough, then outright ignoring them. Though in general, I don't think such a response would happen anyway. That and the fact that having deleted the post can just be considered a "sorry" by itself. Depending on the OP which could still see it, they might even be amused by the accident instead.
