On the forgotten world of Rnett 4
alienplants2.jpg
There are some basic (humanoid) savages who live thanks to the ruins of a long dead race. Rnett is a terrible inhospitable planet destroyed by war and the elements. Those who call this place home live in large cities underground or in flying ships soaring the sky. The surface of Rnett is toxic and sketchy, all manner of poisonous creatures and mutants roam the surface...
Shame its often where the best scrap is found.

Wanna know how those tossers live in the sky? Well they found and fixed up a old ship on the surface.
Where did they get those hand held shootie things? They found some projectile weaponry on the surface.
Why are those glowing rocks so pricey? Those are runes mostly found on the surface and they power almost anything.
How come Jarkar has lights underground and metal men?

Well Jarkar was the first underground city able to harness electricity from the storms constantly moving about the planet in turn they were lucky enough to uncover and power a hidden cache of droids built by a race eons ago.
There's three things everyone on Rnett know, though lives are very different depending on if you live in the sky or underground.
These three rules are taught like religion no matter where you came from...

1) the surface is dangerous, never go alone if you need to.
2) sort your scrap by worth and weight. (scrap in this case ranges from old technology, building materials, creature parts)
3) respect and fear those with the talent.

The talent is a tricky thing to explain but you can tell when you see it,
Its when you see someone jump twenty feet across a ravine or survive jumping down said ravine.
It's when your able to blast someone away with lightning or fire.
It's holding or throwing your weapon with no hands.
It's lots of things, point is some people have it others don't.

You don't need to be talented to survive the surface, however it does help.
In fact the underground city of Mabuut encourages those believed to be talented to enter a school, or order if you rather.
A place where various masters and elders have spent years practicing and studying the abilities one can harness with the talent.
Those with the talent usually use their power to become whatever they want in life. Shame so many wanted to be warriors...

Mabuut was recently attacked by a small army of mutants, it is sketchy at best but a team of scraphunters have believable evidence this invasion was caused by those above, the ones living in ships...
The Mabuut council reviewed the evidence and decided the word must be sent to Jarkar, our brothers underground must help in this time of need.
To illustrate the importance of this plight (and so it will Not go unheard)
the council has decided to send a small team of talents from the Mabuut order.
Though Mabuut needs the talented for defense it has been decided that three masters shall be sent on this dangerous journey, these three (If they wish to) shall choose the best students to promote to the rank of warrior and gifting them equipment usually reserved for the masters and elite of Mabuut.

I'll admit this is inspired from star wars a bit but like usual it's my own original spin on shit
