At a young age, Felix was convinced that he would grow up to be the top ballerina in the world. His parents believed in him and fought tooth and nail to keep him in the classes, though money was never something they had a large quantity of. He continued with dancing throughout his entire life and loved it more than he had ever loved anyone or anything.
Then he was claimed at the ripe age of sixteen.
The shock of being thrust into a world that he hadn't even known existed nearly became too much, as his father tried to explain to him what was happening. His mom wasn't his mother. The woman who was responsible for bring him into the world wasn't even human. It was safe to say that he quickly became overwhelmed and ran from his home, only with the intentions of taking a walk to clear his head.
One moment, he was walking along the sandy beach. The next, he was waking up in a hospital bed.
The police say that he was attacked by a horde of muggers. But, when an odd, older man shows up and tells him it was a gaggle of harpies, Felix believes. He's convinced that he's lost his sanity at that point. His parents show up and are quickly fawning over him, worriedly asking him questions about what happened, not noticing the stranger standing in the corner of the room.
There hearts were broken the moment they did.
He offered a Felix a home. A place where he'd be safe from all the dangers that the world now held for him since he'd been claimed. He was hesitant and sought approval from his parents, begging them to give him some sort of advice, some sort of answer. But, they merely shook their heads and told him it could only be him who coule make the decision. So, he left.

felix doesn't really know what to think of jax at this point. his discovery of the other dancing was a complete accident and he's been doing his best to avoid the other since the incident, refusing the give into the others request for them to dance together. the hugs and general closeness that jax has started up leave felix flustered and frustrated in more ways than one. he doesn't really have words to describe how he feels in regards to the canadian male.

really, felix couldn't have asked for a better friend. while they don't necessarily have a spoken friendship, the mutual chemistry that they experience is more than enough to make up for the silence. though, it's not always quiet when they're together. felix finds it easy to vent to agate about pretty much everything and he's got a lot to talk about. agate is his escape in the crazy world they live in.
