Personality: Mel is a hard worker and takes pride to impress. She does what she's told (mostly) but also has a quick tongue. That being said, she won't hold back in what she thinks and has a cocky attitude when she can show it. However, she's also very loyal if you can put up with her attitude which makes her a great friend.
History: Growing up in a heavily populated area, Mel saw the Navy fleet pass through almost every day. Whether it be to go to the bar, get supplies, or just seeing their boat. The uniforms made Mel want to be apart of their crew more and more.

Growing up, she would exercise and train her body to live like a crew member. People would ask her what her goals were, but when she'd tell them her dream all they would do is laugh. It was always, 'you're a woman. Your duties is being a housewife.' or 'Get a realistic job. Threw Navy is men only'. It crushed her, but also had made her more influenced to prove them wrong. So, she had trained harder.

When Mel had turned into the age where new recruits were allowed to sign up, she was first in line. The crew members had all looked at each other with amusing eyes. They had agreed to let her try out with the others, but Mel knew they had only did so to laugh at her. Not today.

After that, her life had changed. She had moved up ranks quickly becoming a cherished office. Mel even proved those who didn't think she was fit and they all had apologized every time they had seen her. Yes. This was great.
Extras: Mel has a tattoo of a feather that turns into birds on the back of her right shoulder.

Other: As she's dressed as a male, she has her hair up in a bandana with a hat on top of that. She also puts dirt on her face to conceal her feminine skin and wrapped her torso to look like she as no chest while she wears generic men's clothing.

Appearance: Amos is large, dark-skinned, and has brown eyes. He normally wears a simple shirt and breeches with a colorful sash stuffed full with weapons. He keeps his head shaved and wears a bandana around it.

Personality:
Easy-going and obnoxiously cheerful, Amos is generally well-liked. He is often the voice of reason as well as the voice of hope. He tends to take the younger crew under his wing and shows the newbies the ropes. He has a habit of embellishing any story he tells to the point that he doesn't even know truth from fiction. He is a self-proclaimed charmer and claims to have charmed a pirate hunter into letting him escape, but no one knows if that's true.
History:
Amos is originally from Jamaica. He had a fishing business and a wife, but he was press-ganged into service under the flag of the Pirate King fleet. He doesn't talk about what happened to his wife, and the wise don't ask. He's been on the Sea Dragon longer than anyone else, and remembers when it was called the Sea Wolf and captained by a drunkard named Brown.
He goes way back with the current captain, claiming to have had his hammock next to his when Brown was still alive and captain. He even makes occasional references to fishing the captain from the sea, but the captain just rolls his eyes.
Extras:
Amos has a good singing voice and often leads the work shanties.

Drayce

Age: 25
Gender: Male
Appearance: Average height, but slender. He has messy brown hair that he keeps confined under his tricornered hat and grey eyes. He is generally polished and clean-shaven. He wears a worn blue captain's coat and a belt across his chest with a sword attached. He wears a sash that is actually a trimmed British admiral's pennant

Personality: Drayce tends to be more reserved but has a dry sense of humor when he's comfortable. He's harsh on his crew but harsher on himself. He over-thinks everything, which drives Amos crazy but usually keeps them alive.
History:
He won't say if "Drayce" is his first name or his last name. He is a proud Scotsman, but speaks with an English accent unless flustered. He was rescued from a shipwreck when he was nineteen, and told everyone he had been a rigger on a merchant ship. After Captain Brown was killed in a battle with pirate hunters, Drayce pulled off a daring move that saved the crew. They voted him captain and agreed to break from the Pirate King fleet. They renamed the ship and now fly under a dragon and crossed swords.
Drayce seems to understand how the British navy operates and knows a great deal about ships but never gives a straight answer about his past.
Extras:
Drayce drinks the vast majority of the tea the pirates plunder and never drinks alcohol.

Personality: Shan didn't earn her title of "Serpent" doing nothing. Said to have a snake's tongue, Shan is brute and blunt with her words, and they can hurt as much as her sword. Shan doesn't play games, no. If something needs to be said, she will say it, no matter to who, including the captain. Shan is compulsive and loves to get into a fight at any point of time, and it takes several men to hold her back. She is spiteful and rough, never playing nice and always, always loving to rub in that she is a woman and better than many men.

History: Shan was once a simple pirate of a small crew, bright and hopeful that she might one day become a First Mate, and eventually a Captain of her crew if she could just earn the favour of her captain at the time. Try as she might, Shan was nothing but a doormat in the eyes of the crew she worked around. As she grew older, she realised this, and became furious at the though. In a spurt of rebellion, she stole some of the captain's most valuable treasure and ran off, abandoning the ship and disappearing into the night.

While she was at first apprehensive about joining another crew, Shan found her advancement and is willing to stay... as long as she gets her share and her rights.
Extras: Besides "Serpent", some call Shanderer "Shandy". A fitting name, for it is her favourite drink.

She is adventurous, curious and a bit of a trouble maker. She loves to have a good time and she can out drink almost anyone. She can also be hyperactive which can be tiring for some. She's also not a push over, people tend to think she's easy to take advantage of but she usually proves them wrong. Also she can be quite smart but tends to also have her dumb moments.​

History:
Emma use to live in the orphanage. She had know idea who her parents were but it was something that never really bothered her. She was left with a letter from her parents and it seemed they cared for her a lot which was good enough for her. Unfortunately the orphanage she was at wasn't the greatest and a lot of kids would try to escape. She happen to be one of the few that got out.

To make money Emma would steal things. People would come and ask her to get something for them and pay her for the job. And some of this clients of her’s were quite powerful. Even stole from a royal family once. She made a bit of her name for herself. The authorities were never able to catch her. Now she lives as a pirate and has the title first mate

Personality: Gruff but kind, as long as there is respect given too him. He can be considered chatty, and enjoys reminiscing about his past.
History: Born and raised by a merchant, Jack turned to piracy when he was 18, after his fathers ship sunk, leaving him parentless, since his mother died in childbirth. He was a pirate for his entire life since, becoming a navigator on a ship called the "Esmeralda" when he was 40 and served on her for 7 years, he ended up having to quit that position after he fell out of the crows nest, breaking his left leg and leaving him with a limp. He has 3 children, two sons and a daughter. The eldest son (32) is a banker and hates his father, the second son (24) is a pirate and his daughter is being raised by his sister in law, as she is only 12. He has decided to join the "Sea Dragon" as one last grand adventure before he retires or dies.

Personality: Esme is quiet, keeping to herself in her office unless she has to interact. She is a good listener and tends to follow orders as quickly as she can, and she comes across as a pushover and level-headedue to her kind and observing nature. Rarely she can be brutality honest, tending to try make other feel better unless she is on the job.

History: Esme comes from a long line of nobles, herself being the youngest of 7 children the others being all boys. As she grew she began to love all things science, going so far as to request a teacher to aid her in becoming a doctor. Years of hard work and studying lead her to be the best doctor in her area, she was well respected and beloved by everyone who had the pleasure to meet her. Eventually she married a man who had captured her heart, they had one child together. After a pirate was brought into her office she started to wonder what it was like on the high seas. Abandoning her beloved and child, Esme began her life on the high seas, changing crews often until one stuck and she has dedicated her life to its crew with little thought of the life she left behind. This is the life that was right for her in her mind.
