After a few minutes of not hearing Psychos scream about eat people's personalities or taking their organs out to make a birthday cake for their dog and not hearing footsteps, they were most likely not there. Skye stepped out, running towards where she heard Rocket. Of course, there were maybe like what? Five bandits on the way there? They were easy enough, just fill them full of bullets. But the great thing about this SMG was that thanks to the wonderful people at Dahl, this was a slag SMG.

Now she would've just pulled out her pistol and hit them with corrosive bullets since when she hit them, they got slagged and that meant any element would deal more damage. But, she was a bit of in a hurry, so she just kept firing at them until they dropped dead. It was easier than switching weapons after all.

Eventually after opening fire on bandits, which was really just two more, she reached Rocket on a Technical and the aftermath of what he did. "
Oh hey, nice job there... Rocket, was it?" Then, she heard some Psychos yelling about wanting to suck some old man toes and then heard them notice her.

Probably cause they then decided to say they wanted to suck her toes.

Sighing that they interrupted the conversation, she took out a grenade and threw it back as it stuck to the one at the front. "
So, you found a Technical. Good work." When they got closer, it pulled the Psychos closer and as soon as they were only a little bit behind her, the grenade went off and sent them flying over her and landed directly beside the Technical.

"
We can use this to pick up anyone that needs to head back to the shack-." She stopped once she saw a Psycho running at them from the right side of the car, screaming about how some guy peed on the moon, Elpis, cause someone peed on said guy's wife. He wasn't that far away, only within shooting distance. Sighing, she switched to her pistol. "Hold on a second." Stepping a bit to the side, she aimed and fired a few bullets into him. Now, she would've just grabbed her shotgun and finished him off, but these were corrosive bullets, there wasn't any way he was going to survive it.

As the Psycho got closer, it eventually fell over with the places where the bullets were starting to look like someone poured acid there. She switched back to the SMG, keeping it ready. "
Hopefully that's the last of them for... a few minutes."

Honestly, she wasn't sure as bandits and Psychos on Pandora were unpredictable. Well, with bandits they weren't really that unpredictable, it was the Psychos that were the unpredictable ones. They weren't called that for nothing.
"So, we can stay here and kill any bandit and Psychos that comes our way, picking up people after the fight with the Technical, go and pick up people that need to get healed back at the shack with, again, the Technical, or take this and shoot every bandit and Psycho in a drive by shooting. Personally, I don't mind either one, as long as we use this Technical, but it's your call."

Completely oblivious to the death of the obnoxiously noisy creature being caused by the other people actually fighting it, Deadpool, no longer fixated on his dancing, saw the results of the battle. Turning off his boombox, he yelled out, "And THAT, folks, is the power of interpretative dance! Looks like this SCP reject couldn't handle my smooth moves!" The only thing he did remember from the past few minutes, aside from his own dancing, was the insult targeted at him from a talking Trash Panda™ . "Y'know, that fuzzy little guy sounded awfully similar to Bradley Cooper... Eh. I shouldn't worry about it." The entire time he was talking and putting his radio away, however, everyone else had already gone inside to get a handle on the entire situation from Doom Guy's 3rd cousin twice removed.

Thinking to himself while he was on his lonesome, Deadpool was starting to come up with an idea as to how he could get back home just in time to see how Optimus Prime got the Autobots out of the jam they were last seen in. "So these 'mutants' with radioactive blood are causing some problems for this place... There's a bunch of other people here that clearly don't belong, just like me..." As he pondered, he scoured the area to find some ammunition for his guns, and luckily came across three boxes worth of the stuff sitting next to a used tire. He grabbed them, crammed two of them into one of his pouches, and used the other one to refill his guns. "In that case, all I have to do is find these assholes that are making us mutants have a bad rep, murderize them, and I'll be hailed as a hero far and wide! Of course, they'll give me the power to replace that dumb bird on the moon with MY insignia. AND more importantly, they'll definitely have a portal device for me to use to get back to my place, where a bowl of Cookie Crisp and two new episodes of Transformers await!"

This plan of his would have to be halted temporarily, as DP now saw the approach of the bandits, alongside the rest of the heroes coming outside again. He drew his katanas, proudly shouting, "Well, looks like I may get to finally use these babies, and make some goddamn mincemeat! Perfect for some blood-stained chimichangas!" Hearing the music blasting from the gigantic surround system, however, Deadpool changed his focus to the source of the song currently playing. Taking his own boombox back out, he started unplugging and replugging the wires into his music maker after the end of the Mötley Crüe song. Simply pressing play and charging right towards a vehicle, with his twin katanas extended at his sides, he started screaming, "THIS IS FOR YOU MC ADAAAAAAAAAAAAAM!"

The Son didn't expect the man to saunter over to him looking for a fight. But he didn't show any fear, he'd taken down bus loads of Colombians. What was one man, crazy as he may be gonna do to him? He smirked as Trevor began to leave.

"I'll be looking forward to it jackass."
He waited a moment until he heard the familiar sounds of carnage. The Henchman could handle himself. He was going to join the party, it didn't matter to him the reason the bandits attacked.
He just liked hurting other people.
He'd grown fond of the fire axe he'd slaughtered an entire jungle of monsters with as well. As he looked at the bandits they too seemed to warp into masked horrors that he was all too eager to kill. He rushed a group of them starting by burrowing his axe in the bandits face.

"Who's next?"
He grinned as two more rushed him. He grabbed one with the handle of his axe around his throat as a meat shield which was shot in his stead. Shoving the body into the oncoming attacker he smashed his foot into his skull hard causing a mash of bloody bandit pulp to be left behind as he ground his foot into the now dead body. He smiled and took a moment to feel the chain around his neck and remembered that day. In a swift motion he revealed a pair of SMG's which were on the bandits in mere seconds. He walked at his own pace shooting anything that moved at any rate, he was too high to care if he was shooting at friend or foe.
Whereas
The Henchman didn't feel comfortable with his new gun. It was loud by the way Abraham had described it... He didn't exactly do loud. When he did he job he did it discreetly. So he'd save it for another time. Leaving the shack to see Jacket was... Standing over a man now unrecognizable. He didn't say anything, he really couldn't even if he tried.

"I bet the boss is loving this..."
He muttered to himself as he was surrounded by the sounds of carnage. It only made his job easier as he walked and felt around for his silenced pistol. He could feel a breathing down the back of his neck. Instinctively he grabbed the thing closest to him. He'd forgotten he'd taken this on his last job. A bright green skateboard. He turned around and shoved the bandit back with his foot and jumped on him while he was down, forcing the skateboard down on his throat hard and fast causing him to behead him.

"Maybe this could work?"
He went somewhat away from the fray picking of stragglers and knocking them in the head with the board. Taking down individuals with a swift and silent shot as not to draw attention to himself.

LIGHTNING

AS THE
MASTERMIND
Lightning aptly laughed as his monsters slashed through the bandits like nothing, no less protected those which he wanted them to. It was going perfectly alright - although, there seems to be more bandits, yet... He would glance around the land and to the Duel Disk he inhabits, before getting an idea... He would have noticed Elizabeth's ability to open portals - something that would probably be best to little the numbers down. He laughed once more as the plan formed, and he decided to take action - first trying to gather Elizabeth's attention with a loud, retro-sounding 'bleep' noise in her direction. "May I borrow your time, for a moment? I would like to cooperate - for I have a plan..." He said if she would approach. "You can open portals, yes?" Lightning asked. "How about we use the 'nature' of those portals to, simply put... ambush our 'visitors' from an angle?" He suggested. "If you're willing to cooperate that is..." He then added in a calmer, slightly more menacing tone. He had a plan alright - behind this one, he's up to something...

Jacket kicked the corpse away, playing a tape, sarcastically. "What a lovely day, right? -If you have sustained injuries, you may need to seek medical attention promptly." A gurgle was only heard.
Jacket wasn't exactly done, though. Three more bandits saw his act and was coming closer. Looking at the body, he took an interest in the bandit's buzzaxe. Picking it up, Jacket inspected it closely, before throwing it at one of the bandits.

Their throat was penetrated by the axe 'part' of the weapon, causing the other two to look at their fellow bandit. Jacket then went to get his pistol not too far away to shoot the remaining bandits, in which he killed successfully. He checked the area and saw the two Russians do their own dirty work. Checking again, Jacket decided he was in the clear, and leaned against a fence, taking a rest from the encounters.

The Nineteenth Arcana
Ryuji Kazan

A few Bandits proceeded to charge towards Ryuji, but without giving it a second thought, he aimed directly at them and split the rifle's second magazine between them as best as he could. With a cheeky salute and a quick reload, the sticky bombs detonated, sending them flying a bit back. As they weren't quite dead, Ryuji decided to start whacking them with the butt of his rifle. Before long, though, a Technical drove past him as the gunner fired a few shots his way. Most of them missed him, but a few did strike him in his chest guard, resulting in some dents in the metal.

Ryuji made sure to train his eyes on the Technical that had shot at him, and emptied a magazine into it, detonating the bombs shortly thereafter in order to severely damage it. Then, he had an idea.
Ryuji pulled out a couple of Magnesium Cups and, like he did with the firecracker he used to finish off the toilet-seat-wearing Bandit from earlier, he removed the match from his lips and struck it against his chest guard. When the hostile Technical made another pass at him, Ryuji lit the fuses on the Cups and tossed them in the hopes of doing what he wanted to do.

The cups flew through the air...

...and landed straight in the Technical driver's lap.
The fuses hissed as they ran down, and then...

"HOLY F--K! MY EYES! MY CROTCH!!!"
The heat and blinding white flash from the burning Magnesium caused the driver to lose control of the Technical and swerve into some explosive barrels, causing the vehicle to go up in a sizable (and satisfying) explosion. "Kazan Family Magnesium Cups. Great for parties, not so great to stare at." Ryuji went over to the wrecked Technical. "That'll be 1000 Yen, you clown. I'll expect a check in the mail." He quipped, replacing his spent match and tossing the used one into the driver's face.

While waiting for someone else to ask for ammo or health, she heard a 'bleep' sound and turned to see where it came from. What she saw, she hadn't seen anything like it. What exactly was it? It was on their side, she knew that from how it didn't attack her or anyone.

She went over to it, not knowing whether to call it a he or a she. "Sure, what's your plan?" Listening to what it said, the plan sounded simple enough. It was just an ambush, something that was easy to do with her tears. But something about the tone it had made her feel a bit uneasy. "They're not called portals, they're called tears. And sure, I'll cooperate with you. How are we going to ambush them?"

If they wanted to get through this fight, working together was the only way they'd make it out.

"Simple, really." Lightning began to explain. "I'm thinking of sending an attack through one of these 'tears' of yours. Then, when it's ready, use it at your own discretion... However, why I'm asking 'you' for your help is I'm going to assume you're the only one here who can accomplish such. The 'ambush' part is just the fact they're not going to see it coming. What do you say?" Lightning explained his plot - by hiding the attack in a tear, the bandits wouldn't see it coming - but Elizabeth would need to unleash it at her own discretion, where she wants.

Well, it sounded easy enough. All she had to do was hope that a tear opened up behind or above some bandits, then the ambush would be a success. It didn't? The ambush would fail, the bandits would notice, and they'd probably get shot and die.

She looked at it (it's voice started sounding more of like a man's voice to her, so she'd have to start calling it 'him') and nodded. "
I'll do it. And seeing as how anyone else here can't open tears, I'm pretty sure I'm the only one that can do that." Looking at the two crates, she'd have to take away the ammo crate given how health was more important. If the attack was more than once, which didn't seem likely, she'd have to start alternating between ammo and health crates. Hopefully, it never came to that.

Closing the ammo crate tear, she started opening one. As soon as she opened the tear, it appeared behind a group of bandits that were too busy attacking someone. That was one half of the plan pulled off! "Now!"

Give her elf ears, add tattoos/markings on her skin, give her snake eyes, change her hair color to blue, and maybe make her look a little younger, and this works.

Meanwhile, in a part of town not currently dominated by carnage, the mouth of the portal closed with a 'Vworp' and left what resembled a little girl standing in the middle of town. Heather blinked, and began to aimlessly walk around, passing a few homes and inadvertently wandering into the ongoing battle. A psycho seemed to take notice, drawing a machete and charging at the little girl. He came dangerously close, up until Heather noticed him and turned her head slightly. She blinked, and the Psycho's face was neatly inverted in a spray of blood while Heather just kept walking forward. She would occasionally look over, sending telekinetic pulses to flip over the armored vehicles of the bandits who got a little too close for comfort. The bandits largely steered clear of her following the extraction of one unfortunate bandit's spine, and the others in the process of battling the bandits quickly began to take notice of what looked like a ten year old, standing in the middle of the battle, partially in confusion and partially in awe as any bandit which approached was either torn to shreds or sent flying into the air. Then, from no distinct source, a voice echoed in the minds of these others, a telepathic shout that sent a chill down their spines.

"Excellent. Allow me to prepare a firing squad." Lightning sighed and powered up the Duel Disk once more. Again like before, one more card appeared - and a familiar monster appeared. But like the others, there wasn't just one of them for this plot - oh no. There was a 'lot' of them.
"Armatos Legio Sica!"

"Ready!" Lightning commanded, as the statues all shook to life in humanoid motions, preparing their daggers. "Aim!" He reinstated, the statues raising the daggers up like darts and pulling them back. And then, the moment he was waiting for, the tear opened.
"FIRE!" Lightning commanded as his monsters threw their daggers through the tear, and wherever the daggers would end up, that's entirely up to where the next one opens. Lightning's plot was all but successful. All he needs to do now, is wait for it to be unleashed, and what happens afterwards - if all goes 'according' to this plan at least. After throwing their daggers, the formerly armed statues vanished.

is the important Question
Annotation 2020-01-14 171734 (1).png

Things were getting a little heated as the battle dragged on. Being cautious was no longer effective, In fact it was never effective or efficient in the first place. The Argent was now set on completely wiping out the entire Bandits force. It was time to switch from the scalpel to the sledgehammer. Mr Hero would frown at her but she refused to partake in his ethical dogma no longer. Who was he to press his beliefs onto other people? What a pretentious fool, however, just to make sure she does not anger him a warning should be issued. It appeared someone had managed to be speaking to her telepathically, finding out who is now a secondary objective but for now the warning must be issued. Clearing her throat and activating her magical comms, which should project her voice through any nearby radios/any other communication device she uttered her warning. her voice should sound like this

"Attention all allies in the surrounding area. I am about to unleash a wide area saturation attack. While I am confident that none of you are as weak as the cannon fodder below me I am warning you anyways so a certain Hero will be placated. Anyway that's me for now. Bye~"

With that Tanya cut off her comms for it was time for her to get to work. Switching from her sniper rifle to her SMG would make her attack a little easier as it had less recoil while still maintaining it's automatic fire. Her green reticle would re-manifest picking out the dense clusters of enemies and highlighting them to her.

This time instead of one large blast Tanya would unleash a volley of smaller blasts. These, while not as powerful as the one that took out sirenhead, where still powerful enough to overturn their rudimentary vehicles and spray a red mist of bandit everywhere alongside other shrapnel from the vehicle as well. The Winged Ace was flying over and with each pass, blew up cluster after cluster of bandit and anything else unfortunate enough to get caught in the blast. Tanya tried her best to be careful as she shot in the direction facing away from any buildings.

Another strafe from White Silver and another horde of bandits find themselves eating dirt. No prisoners would be taken here. Another one of her volleys created a cloud of dust and dirt that lingered around a bit but went away after a while.

"Guys, you gotta try this!" To an outsider, it was unknown if Lucky meant the driving, or being taken over by the jade. His mineral was working on overdrive, giving his fur a sickly greenish tint, as the cracks in his eyes widened until they covered his sclerae. Nothing mattered to him anymore, except for murder. He swerved over bandits, and may or may not have accidentally almost hit some of his allies. This was the time of his life! Fuck Sarge for depriving him of this blast!

Huh, that didn't sound like Julia. Somebody had to fill the kid in, no? "Uh, Lupé, help that voice. I gotta focus." He commanded his rat, his mind purely focused on the carnage.

Lupé's voice was quick, shrill, and urgent. "Okay, so we're in a place called Pandora, and if we want to go home, this man named Agent Abraham wants us to slay these bandits, and then he'll take us to people who know what to do. But enough about bandits. HELP ME GET THIS PSYCHO RABBIT OUT OF HIS TRANCE!"

Lucky took offense at the last statement. "My friend is hysterical. I'm all right. I'm just having fun!" As he drove madly around the battlefield, he would, once again, come near "Lana", and the sinister smile he had on his face the whole time stretched out from ear to ear.

"Lucky, no! Focus on the real-GODDAMNIT!" Poor Lupé could only go along for the ride as Lucky sped towards "Lana". So he was about to run someone over? This was a crowded battle with bandits dropping like flies! He could discover "Lana"'s secret, and then say that bandits did it! This would be a-

"Damn it." Lucky muttered, swerving away from the supposed Braixen, right as the buggy was brushing her waist, no less, into a safe zone. "This is why I'd rather work alone. We got so close!"

Lupé, on the other nub, was hysterically praising Tanya.

Dani’s side: 39CCC405-635D-44E2-8611-4F3D24FD915A.jpeg

As Dani would continue setting bandits a blaze, she hears this strange voice in her head.
“Uh? Who’s that, how are you in my head?” Before she would get an answer, one of the Bandit trucks catapults a barrel at her.

She manages to shoot it before it hits her, another on fires but she manages to teleport it back at the one who shot it.
“Didn’t your mothers teach you it’s rude to interrupt a girl having a telepathic conversation? Unless your mothers put you up to this.” Another voice appears. ”Where are these voicing coming from?”

While questing the voices in her head, Dani fires at Bandits coming through the back into the building. She repeats till necessary.

But the voices keep piling on as another tells her “a certain hero will be placated”
“Okay, don’t who’s she talking about, but back to work.”

Sora would continue to fight off the bandits and protect the townsfolk, but it does get to him a little bit. Then he would see three more bandits coming for him. Two small, one large.
“Ah, gimme a break already.” Sora used Aero to shove two bandits back but the large one was still left standing.

The large bandit would Sora would run up to a large bandit, countering his first attack then following up with a three hit combo. Sora would be left wide open and barely would have a chance to dodge until a citizen protected him by shooting the bandit in the heart.
“Holy.. Thanks.” He said giving a thumbs up while shooting a bandit behind the citizen that saved him. “Now we’re even.”

Heather looked down at the talking rat as she telekinetically grabbed a bandit and hurled him into the air mid-charge. She nodded silently at the rat.

She raised her fist and a number of bandits around her spontaneously burst into flames, most of which abandoning their attacks on whoever they were fighting and running around hysterically in an attempt to extinguish the fires. Lucky, meanwhile, felt a strong blow to the back of the head as the telekinetic child seemed to have taken her rat's statement completely literally.

Lucky, meanwhile, felt a strong blow to the back of the head as the telekinetic child seemed to have taken her rat's statement completely literally.
"Unk!" Apparently, the jade didn't stop him from feeling mental pains, and a sharp blow to the back of his head threw him off his concentration, in turn making him lose control of the buggy. It slammed into a wall, forcing Lucky to the ground. For a while there, he just laid on his back, his vision blurry, while his pelt returned to normal. He wasn't dizzy for very long, fortunately, and he put two and two together. Lupé had sicced somebody's little mind avatar thing on him.

"The fuck happened to being me strategist, Lassie?!" Lucky barked at the air.

"You know I love massacres as much as you do, but Lucky, that wasn't like you at all! You got all glowy-green in here. To say nothing of your eyes! Julia told me that they looked ready to burst."

So Lucky examined himself. His coat was normal, his jade patch looked just like how it did when it was given to him, and when he looked at his reflection in the buggy's mirror, his eyes were normal. No, really. To him, his sclerae were a normal white, and crackless. "I don't know what you're talking about." The rabbit concluded. "That was probably just the jade's magic workin' to keep me from feelin' bad for any of these fuckers. Whelp, back to work!"

Perhaps somebody was having trouble with a bandit, or two? Lucky was getting a hankering for some assisted kills. After all, he was sent to Blood Gulch to learn about teamwork!

The Banished One
Growling after seeing Tanya's attack, the hero presses forward, increasing the strength of his attacks, it would become immediately apparent that he wasn't holding himself back quite as much now. The crack of his fists alone showed that he was punching now at supersonic speeds, barrages of strikes but with only explosions behind his arms. Then it happened. Before him a huge cloud of explosive dust went off instantly, shaking the earth and kicking up dust and bodies before imploding once again to crush anything in its radius. That he could see, he'd crushed two of the enemy vehicles and their occupants, but the dust made it hard to see exactly how many new bodies his attack had created.

"You guys are really going to keep ramping up your powers, I'll show off a little too" he mutters under his breath, standing and catching his breath. Big attacks weren't hard on his body, but a barrage like that would be hard on anyone without the highest levels of physical health. "Twenty years ago I could have done that without breaking a sweat..." he adds under his breath to himself "Guess they're right about me getting old"

Balling up his fist he growls, throwing it forward once more as a secondary detonation went off, flinging the enemy vehicles back into the approaching crowd of bandits, this attack had a much more noticeable backdraft and kicked sand up behind him in a momentary sandstorm. Anyone standing too close would be buffeted by a wave of sand. After a calm moment, the air began to ripple as the shockwave imploded once more, a chain of smaller reactions going off within the void as it became apparent he'd used the vacuum within the epicentre of his last attack to prevent his second attack going off too soon "VACUUM BOMB: CHAIN REACTION!" he yells, his muscles rippling with power as he grins. He still had it, forget what anyone said about his age.

Anti-Anna fought until her gun was out of bullets and until all of her foes were dead.

(Is it over?)

Not yet.

Anti-Anna rushed out and with a fury almost unmatched, proceeded to pummel any bandit she came across, using her gun as some form of blunt object. She would then grab their ammo and start shooting whatever bandit she came across, not even caring if she got blood on her dress!

Saria slowed and fought through bandit after bandit, all the while maintaining an expression of sheer impassiveness. No matter how much they cursed her, begged for her to spare their lives, or sprouted nonsense at her, Saria casted an aura of apathy. Yet she felt disgust bubble up within her.

These bandits were crude in what little organization they had and often fought individually or in small groups that posed little threat to the Vouivre. Some even injured their fellow bandits in the fight against her. Such was their lack of discipline that Saria began to realize her foe was not driven by any meaningful goal. Not the desire to claim resources, not to right a wrong, or expanding their territory.

Reunion was better. At least they had an understandable motivation. As wrong and heinous as their methods were, Reunion was trying to make a better world for those infected who had been shoved into slums, suffered discrimination no matter who they previously were, and disregarded.

But the bandits here were only driven by the simple urge to kill. Nothing else.

And so Saria felt nothing as she left behind a trail of bandit corpses.

Saria noticed the glowing outline of a pegasus. She felt rejuvenated, a sudden rush of energy coursing through her veins. The few abrasions she had received closed up. Ah, Miss Nearl must have summoned her pegasus. Saria returned back to fighting the few bandits that still fought against her.

Meanwhile, back inside Skull, Silence rushed between the few wounded that had either limped or were brought into her makeshift clinic. She grumbled about the trigger-happy nature of the townsfolk. All of them were injured because some of the citizens thought the wounded were a bandit.

At the very least those citizens felt guilty enough to drag or guide their victims to her.

“Ah, ahhh, I’m dying, I need meds” one man clutched his side.

“You’re not. You were just hit with a cane. It’ll hurt and be sore for some time, but you aren’t dying. Now please leave, there has to be room for more seriously injured.”

“Not even a little painkiller?”

“No.”

“Damnit, thought I could nab some meds.” The man walked out of the building, grumbling and mumbling all the way.

Silence sighed. And no small number of them were addicts.

“Grr, fucking shit,” a woman groaned. She held a hand over her right shoulder where blood seeped through the makeshift bandage Silence fashioned from what she could.

“Hold on,” Silence grabbed one of the so called ‘Insta-Heal’ one of the townsfolk who had been kind enough to give her and injected it into the wound site. She observed as the flesh mended itself in seconds, blood suddenly clotting, and the inflammation lessening. The Liberi made a note to herself about finding what components made up the Insta-Heal and renaming it to something more appropriate.

“Thanks doc. I’m gonna throttle my wife now for shooting me.”

“Please don’t, more people are likely going to need medical attention and it would help if half of it didn’t come from friendly fire.”

“Then I’ll throttle her after!” The woman rushed off, leaving Silence alone in an empty building.

Silence took a moment to relax and gather her thoughts amongst the screaming and gunfire. She wondered how Ifrit was doing. Probably setting something on fire of which she’ll have to rebuke the fiery teen for when she get back.

“Fuck, damnit” a harsh voice brought Silence out of her thoughts. She turned to see a man with a mask wrapped around his head limp into the room. He grasped the bleeding stump where his right arm was supposed to be. Water dripped from his damped clothing. The man stopped when he saw Silence and the two stared at each other for a split-second.

“Die!” The man whipped out a knife and charged at Silence. The Liberi reacted quickly, letting reflexes honed by countless battles guide her into sidestepping the knife. She glanced around to call for help from her fellow operators.

But she realized she was alone with the man.

“Just die already bitch!” The man rammed into Silence and threw her down onto the ground. He loomed over the Medic, his body beginning to quiver as blood continued to pour from the stump.

No-No no! Silence panicked as the man tried to pin her down. He unconsciously tried holding her down with both arms so he could plunge his knife into her skull. Blood dripped onto Silence’s shoulder as the stump flailed about.

“W-what?” The man’s speech became more and more slurred. He constantly shifted his weight about, seeming unsure if he was correct in his current position. It was clear blood loss was clouding his mind, allowing Silence to raise a fist and jam it into the man’s stump.

She felt blood and flesh splatter against her knuckles as her fist drove deep into the remnants of the arm. The man howled in agony and leapt off in a desperate bid to escape from the pain.

Silence snatched one of her syringes and jabbed it into his jugular vein. The man rasped, his remaining hand clawing at the object.

For a brief moment, a voice pleaded with Silence to withdraw the syringe and treat him. The man was already wounded, near death, no longer a threat. However, fear and self-preservation stomped that voice into silence. The Medic could only heave in breaths as the man fell onto his knees. But he still slashed at her even in his dying state, causing Silence to back up against a counter.

“Da-mn y-you,” was all the bandit could muster before he dropped dead.

It took a few seconds for Silence’s rapid, shallow breaths to even out. She straightened up and cleared any remaining panic from her mind. This was not the first time she had come close to death nor was this her first kill.

But she still covered the corpse with a sheet so she didn’t have to look at the body and resumed her work.

We're the Guardians of the Freakin' Galaxy
From atop the Technical he was perched on, Rocket would watch as Skye approached him and began talking about something or another. He was currently seated atop the side, with one knee pushed up and the other leg stretched out, and his arm resting lazily on the former knee.

“Don’t you think that we could do both? Ya know, mow down these crazy jerg-offs, and then pick up anyone at the Shack who needs our particular assistance?” Rocket would ask.

...Y'know, he had a point. Skye had to admit that.

If they did pick up people that needed to go back to the shack while taking out every bandit and Psycho that unfortunately got in the way, it would be easier. They'd kill two birds with one stone or two rakks with one stone, whichever you preferred. "Not a bad idea, Rocket."

“Yeah, I know it’s not a bad idea. That’s why I suggested it.” Rocket replied back, snorting a bit. “Oh, by the way, you’ll have to drive. I don’t think this here vehicle was exactly made to support cybernetically engineered experiments.” The not-raccoon said as he leaned over the side of the door after sliding into the passenger seat and fastening his seat belt, casually blasting whatever unfortunate Psychos happened to come near them.

She walked over to the Technical driver door once he got in the passenger seat. Guess she'd be doing the driving, considering that he probably couldn't reach the pedals."Yeah, sure I'll drive. We gotta go fast though in case anyone needs to head back to the shack.” As she was about to get in the car, she started hearing six Psychos yelling and coming their way from Rocket's side of the car. The things they yelled about ranged from jumping off the cliff to appear the burger gods to the Calypso Twins coming back in a few years for a dancing spin-off to even something about a 'battle royale'.

Sighing, she threw a grenade at them, the grenade homing in on the one in the back. The grenade pulled all the Psychos in and Skye took this chance to get in the car. She started up the car, not caring about her seatbelt. This was Pandora, seatbelts were overrated. "Hold on and start blasting when you see the first sign of bandits and Psychos!" Putting it into drive, she pushed down on the gas pedal, making the Technical drive like someone gave children way too much candy on Halloween. That or someone gave a child an energy drink, it was basically the same thing.

As they drove towards the Psychos, the grenade went off, sending them flying over the car. Coming up on a corner, she swerved the car not hitting any of the buildings and kept driving. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the poor bandits that stood there. For how fast the Siren was driving, she was actually a pretty good driver which was needed when you had to be the getaway driver for a gang.

It was then that about six or so more Bandits began to climb up on the car from the back, which caused Rocket to groan out in annoyance. “Keep driving! I’ll take care of these losers!” Rocket shouted, doing a quick turn in his seat to look back up over it, watching as the Bandits crawled closer to them, all while letting out some rather inhumane growls. Rocket rolled his eyes at that, before shooting two of them in the shoulder with his laser pistol. They fell off the vehicle and rolled into the sand below, but the other four were a bit more smart. One of them attempted to climb on the side of the Technical, specifically Rocket’s side. Groaning once more, he kicked open his door and peeked his head out the side, quickly taking aim at the struggling Bandit that was holding onto a piece of the Technical. One shot of pure plasmic heat through the head later, and he fell off the Technical just like the others had.

By the time Rocket re-entered the vehicle and got nice and comfy in his seat, yet another Bandit had climbed over. Rocket looked up and smirked, before merely pocketing the weapon. With a growl, he reached up and punched the Bandit in the throat, which in turn made the Bandit take in a sharp inhale as he struggled to breathe due to the aforementioned assault on his windpipe. Grinning from his successful attack, Rocket wriggled out of his seatbelt and stood up on the seat, raising a foot to kick the man off the back of the Technical, leaving him in the dust with the rest of the previously discarded Bandits.

However, as Rocket turned over, he noticed a particular Bandit trying to climb up over on Skye’s side. Due to being at an inopportune angle to do anything about the Bandit (at least, not without screwing himself over) Rocket could only point at the Bandit and say, “Uh… you might wanna check your rear-view mirror, toots.”

As Rocket did his thing, she kept her eye on the road and any bandits or Psychos on her side that were coming up. The driver had to be focused on the road and anyone in front of them, it was driving 101. Plus, she didn't wanna be responsible for a hit and run done on someone from their own side, it was just rude.

Spotting a Psycho try to jump at her side, she quickly grabbed her pistol and shot at it in the face. "Hey! This isn't a taxi service, bucko!" Being as how he was in the middle of jumping at her, the shot from the corrosive pistol hitting his face caused him pain and forgetting that he was in midair, was more concerned with his face and ended up just hitting the side of the car before falling to the ground and getting ran over by the Technical.

"Can they please at least know what personal space means?!" She swerved upon coming up on another corner and hit about seven people with the back of the car. Thankfully, it was both Psychos and bandits arguing over pizza toppings, starting to come to the agreement that rakk tongue was a good pizza topping. Again, she didn't hit any buildings and she never slowed down, keeping the speed she started with.

Hearing Rocket point out one, she sighed and looked at the bandit in the rear-view mirror. "Listen, we'll get you your pizza, but you aren't supposed to climb on the delivery vehicle!" Her tattoos glowed, activating her ability. Before the bandit in her body could even register and stop the car, Skye as the bandit threw herself off of the car and in midair, she ended her Phaseswap. She took one look at Rocket before looking back at the road and occasionally to the side."Thanks, Rocket. Let's just try not to get any more unwanted guests in or on this car."

“Sounds good to me.” Rocket replied with a nod, as they made their way back to the Shack.

Thankfully, it didn't take them long to get back to the Shack. Mainly cause she was starting to see people that didn't look like any bandits or Psychos outside it up ahead. But she did start seeing bandits come through the alleyways leading to the road that led to the Shack. Skye sighed once again and grabbed two of her grenades, throwing them in both directions as they stuck to each bandit that was in the middle of the two groups coming out of the alleyway.

Once she got close to her allies, she drifted and slammed her foot on the break and as the grenades blew up, the car stopped as she looked at everyone that was right outside of the Shack and calling to anyone inside the Shack as well. "So! Anyone need us to go get anyone or need to get taken somewhere?"

Rocket was there, too, but he merely stayed in the passenger seat, casually waving at anyone who wanted in. “Move it or lose it, humies.”

Here comes the Machine!
12_2_orig.jpgA giant, golden, blip-lke space ship descends from the skies and steadily lands on a plateu"We're here, boss!"

"Excellent HAHAHA!" Benito grabs a microphone on his makeshift throne "Attention all Tom Toms! Get off, get out, and see what all you can find!"

"B-But boss, we don't know if this planet has breathable air or not!" Cino protests. Suddenly, a door on the side of the ship opens up and down comes a ramp. Cino is thrown out and tumbles down the ramp until it hits the ground. "It's breathable...!" Suddenly, all the Tom Toms come rushing out of the ship, stepping on Cino in the process. Benito and Ugo are the last off the ship, the latter helping him up.

"Off you go, gang! go and fine anything worth of value! ...Or anything we can use to make shelters! We all can't live on the ship, y'know."

The Tom Toms looks around in confusion before one of the raises their hand "Uh boss, where exactly do we go?"

"Out there!" Benito points to the aride night desert of Pandora

The Tom Toms looks at the vast desert, then back to Benito "Out there?" One of them asks for confirmation

"Yes! Out there!" Benito points again

"Well...Uh...See boss....We don't know where specifically you want us to go."

"We don't even know what's supposed to be considered valuable on this planet."

"What planet is this anyway?"

"Is this B27?"

"No, I think this is A7-1"

"Whatever planet this is, it has one of the prettiest moons I've ever seen."

All the Tom Toms looks at Pandora's moon in awe

"You sure are right,t hat is one pretty moon."

"What kind of bird is that?"

"I don't know but it's still quite a view."

"Hey! Can you ninnies focus here! We came here to rob a planet!" Benito exclaims

"That we know little to nothing about."

"Yea boss. We kinda plan ahead for a heist before we try pull one off."

"I know how the routine goes!" Benito protests

"Then what's the big deal then, boss? Why the sudden mix-up?"

"Well-"

"Yea, we don't know where we are or what we're looking for. We might not have enough space controls for whatever you're trying to have us pull off."

"If you all just give me a-"

"Why are there no stars in the sky?.....That's a little unnerving, boss"

"SILEEEEEENCE!" Benito's voice echoes across the arid planes and all the Tom Toms quite down "Now, if you nincompoops are done asking questions, allow me explain it. I had a dream. A dream that on this very world lies everything a Tom Tom could desire. Money!"

"Oooo!"

"Did he say money?"

"There's no mistaking it, the boss said money."

"I'd love to get my hands on some riches."

"Fame!"

"OOOOOO!"

"I always thought I would looks good on the cover of a fashion magazine."

"No you would not...Don't ever entertain that idea...Again...at all."

"Oh c lay off ya' killjoy!A Tom Tom can dream, can he?"

"Some dreams aren't meant to be dreamt...That is one of them..."

"Women!"

"OH YEAAAA! WOMEN!" The Tom Toms jump for joy and give each other hi-fives

"But wait! How many women..."

"Gah! I don't know! ...How about 100,000?"

"That is aloooot of women. But I do like women."

"Especially for like 50 of us."

"Then again, we gotta take into account all the other Tom Toms out there in the universe."

"Yea, we can't forget about them. 'Sharing is caring' afterall."

"And gross..." Cino remarks

Benito snaps hisfingers several times to get the gang's atention "FOCUUUS! And last but not least, Pow-eeeerrrrrr!" Benito pumps his fist in the air

The Tom Toms are silent

"Eh. I can take it or leave it, if I'm honest."

"Yea, same here."

"Well whatever the case, all those things can be ours! And all we have to do is find these so-called Vaults!"

"Vaults? I've heard about those. Aren't they those secret treasure troves of myth, rumored to be scattered across the universe?" Cino asks for confirmation

"Thaaat's right! And there's one right here on this planet! All we have to do is find it!"

"And if someone else finds it?"

"Then take whatever's in from them! That simple! We're Tom Toms for goodness sake! Thievery is in our veins!"

"That is very true."

"Now stop your yappin' and get to nabbin'! If there's anything worth of value or any information on the location of the Vault, you get your hands on it and report it back to me!"

"Roger!" The Tom Toms salute Benito before they head off across the arid planes of Pandora, that was until they plummeted to the ground, screaming.

"Uuuummmm, where did you two land us?" Benito asks his two henchment

Ugo facepalms "On a platue...Sorry, Boss."

Benito slowly moves over to the edge and looks over it "How many of you are alive down there!?"

He can hear groaning and sobbing in response.

"I think my leg is broken..."

"I think my head is broken...."

"I think my everything is broken...."

"This pain....This pain....Make it go away....Someone...."

Suddenly they hear snarling

"W-w-w-what is that...? What's that sound? Julio was that you?"

"No....No-Not this ti-AAAAAAHHHHHHH..."

Suddenly, the sound of flesh tearing, bones breaking, and screams of agony fill the air.

"Oh my gosh...W-What's happening boss?!" Ugo asks scared as he and Cino run up beside Benito and look down over the edge of the plateu to try and see what's happening to the rest of the gang....Unfortunately, it wasn't a pleasant sight to see or hear as three look down mortified
----------
Benito, Ugo, and Cino were sitting back on the battleship, still completely mortified from having watch all their comrades get slaughtered.

Benito finally decided to speak up "W-Well...This...Was a minor set-back/inconvenience..."

"M-minor set-back!?" Ugo exclaims "Boss, we lost 50 of our guys at once!"

"Because of you're sloppy coordination!" Benito retortrs

"No offense, boss. But you were the one who told us to come here." Cino adds

"Be that as it may, we're not leaving until we've found that Vault. We owe it to our fellow Tom Toms who died so happlessly...That means we're going to have to brave this treacherous planet ourselves if we have to! Come sunrise, we begin our venture!" Benito declares

Ugo puts his hands over his head in dread "This heist is gonna kill us..." he laments

Unfortunately, the buggy was much easier to get crammed into the wall than it was to push out. Lucky kept cursing beneath his breath as he tried in vain to free it. "Maybe what I gotta go is dig underneath it..." The rabbit attempted to get underneath the front tire, but the buggy proved to be heavier. The corpse in the driver's seat wasn't helping, of course. But, hey, the foot had fallen off the gas pedal, so at least he wasn't wasting fuel.

It looked like he had turned vehicular manslaughter into a trend around here, seeing as another car sped up to him. It was driven by a human-looking girl (after meeting so many supernatural humanoids, he couldn't really tell what a pure human was anymore) and a raccoon. "Nice to meet a fellow forest-dweller." Lucly greeted with an eerie half-grin, as he hopped to the roof. "I'd like to just drive alongside ya, but my wheels got stuck in a wall. Someone sicced their figment on me, threw me off course."

"Which was for the best, because it knocked Lucky off his killing streak."

Oh, and way off in the distance, he could see a golden dot descending into the desert.

Out of the corner of my eye, I kept noticing the rabbit attempt to end my life only to be interrupted every time. It was a little amusing really. If he really wanted to try so badly then the kindest thing to do is help him out. I ignored the fighting around me and walked over to Lucky slowly before finally reaching him and looking down at him. If the little rabbit really wanted to try to kill me then by all means I want him to try.

Give her elf ears, add tattoos/markings on her skin, give her snake eyes, change her hair color to blue, and maybe make her look a little younger, and this works.

Meanwhile, Heather, still outside and having the time of her life as she tossed around bandits, continued to do as the talking rat instructed, inverting the ribcage of a psycho swinging a spiked club at her, then grabbing hold of that club and throwing it toward another psycho. She occasionally would pause her massacre and stare mesmerized at the moon, sitting with what resembled a blood-stained teddy bear as more bandits imploded around her. At this point, anyone with clear view outside the shack could see the little girl outside. She looked pretty helpless to an outside observer who hadn't seen her fight, maybe someone should try helping this child before she gets her tiny head clubbed in?

Chimera heard several explosions before she turned around to see multiple bullets rain from the sky, unaware of the source they came from. Once a bullet went towards her, Chimera brought a hand up and deflected the bullet back to the sender. She was pretty sure that the swordsman and the rabbit from earlier where in the same area she was, so avoiding any deaths for her temporary allies would be a issue for her. She then would put a hand over the exposed ground, before lightning shot into it and black particles left the ground, before collecting and condensing into a sword, with what appeared to be a functioning chain saw like edge.

Several more bandits tried to take her on, but Chimera was quick, using the sword she created to lop their heads and limbs off, before tossing the weapon into the air and shooting it with more electricity. The blade then shattered into multiple balls of light that shot down and struck several bandits precisely in their chests, leaving a burning hole through their bodies before collapsing.

Chimera then put her hands into her pockets before blowing a strand of hair up and away from her face.
"Who's next?"

Any bandits that did remain, ran away screaming in terror.
