After the war with Gaea, Percy had become more closed off, refusing to talk to people and even refusing to go to the mess hall for meals or offer any of his food to the gods. something in Tartarus broke him, he was someone else now, a changed man. He'd become more violent and harsh, it'd gotten to the point where people didn't want to train with him because he scared people.
