How the Combat System Works: Basic Physical Combat ( 1 vs 1 )

This section will deal in how the actual combat system involving DICE and other aspects work as you RP in the IC.

First off, combat will involve the use of DICE. ( Currently RPNation does not have their DICE system in place, so we shall be using an off-site DICE app . The App has a password function that should allow all users who have the password to see the person rolling the dice. )


The password is: shinrpnation


Next in combat we shall need two members each with a character to duke it out.


Our members will be named BOB And DAVE.


BOB's character is NARUTO


DAVE's character is ICHIGO


Now then, BOB and DAVE will need appropriate stats for each of their characters so they can duke it out in combat.


Currently, each characters stats are as follows


Member: BOB


Character: NARUTO


HP: 4


CCA: 3


SE: 20


DICE: 1 ATK / 1DEF / 1EVA


Member: DAVE


Character: ICHIGO


HP: 4


CCA: 3


SE: 20


DICE: 1 ATK / 1DEF / 1EVA


While it is possible to do combat with just those stats, BOB and DAVE want to boost their characters stats.


To get the needed boost, BOB and DAVE both need to use their TOKEN POINTS or TP and purchase from the TRAINING GROUNDS


BOB and DAVE both have 40 TOKEN POINTS.


The purchase list for each of them is as follows.


BOB : 40 points


1 CCA = 5 TP


2 HP = 10 TP


3 ATK = 9 TP


2 DEF = 6 TP


1 EVA = 3 TP


BOB now has 7 points remaining


DAVE: 40 points


4 CCA = 20 TP


1 HP = 5 TP


3 ATK = 9 TP


1 DEF = 3 TP


DAVE now has 3 points remaining


With their purchases approved their characters stats now look as follows

Our members are now ready and their characters are primed.


They will be using the guidelines of battle found in this thread COMBAT SYSTEM


The post below will depict how a battle ( 1 vs 1 )  would play through using Physical stats only.

Naruto stumbles upon a bleached haired dark clothed stranger.


Thinking that he is an enemy of Leaf village he lounges toward him launching a flurry of punches.


OOC: Since BOB rolled 3 out of 4d6's with a result 3 and greater he successfully attacks with 3.


Also ideally you would want to determine your actions and DICE,


then roll for it and what you receive as a result can be reflected in your post.


In this case, 3 ATK were successfully launched.

Ichigo turns around and sees a weird faced kid attacking him. He was so fast the first punch landed right in the kisser.


For a scrawny kid he sure packed a wallop. That power of the punch was completely unexpected


He draws his sword to block the next few blows and counters with a few slashes from his giant blade.


Although massive in size and heavy in weight Ichigo is able to swing it effortlessly multiple times without pause.


OOC: DAVE here uses all his CCA in a single post.  We see here the first EVA dice failed but the 2 DEF dice succeeded.


Since BOB attacked with 3 ATK and DAVE could only defend with 2 DEF this means 1 ATK was successful in landing a HIT.


Any HIT on a character is -1 HP.


DAVE is not through yet as he has ICHIGO attack 4 times successfully. Let's see how BOB responds.

Naruto is sideswiped by the sword. It was so heavy he could not block the strike and preventing it from slashing his arm.


He was not fooled twice however and block the second blow with ease. However the following strikes hit their mark as the


pain from his incision slowed his reflexes. His heavy breathing showed his body was using energy to keep him standing.


OOC: BOB here chose to defend and evade however his dice roll came up short and allowed for 3 ATK from ICHIGO to strike Naruto.


What is worse, he used all his CCA in that post and could not attack back. This gives DAVE the opportunity to go on the offensive now.

After his flurry of slashes Ichigo sees an opening caused from his first strike. He would not pass up the chance to finish him off.


Swinging his sword downwards forced his body up and he started to rotate vertically in an effort to slice his opponent in two!


OOC: Although having 7 CCA, DAVE only has 4 ATK dice. 2 of them were successful in the roll.
