I don't think there's a set time frame; it varies from case to case. In your case, it does sound like you've been ghosted, sadly. ): But you never know, they might randomly pop up with a post sometime. My rule of thumb is message them a few times, and if they take forever to answer, don't answer at all, or lie ("I'll have a post up soon") then I'm done. And honestly, that's if I even message them at all. Most of the time I just accept it and move on. I don't hold grudges about ghosting.

I usually try to become friends with my partners, so it's not all about the roleplay itself. So I normally wait over two weeks without any ic or ooc interaction to message and ask if they're still interested, if there's no reply for another week, it's safe to assume they've ghosted. But it's different every time, so I think communication is always the key.
