Realistic or Modern Hostage x Mafia {UtraViolet & Caffeine Freak}

UtraViolet

Alaska
"Well" Margo started, her mind raced on what she should say "I'm 18, uh, I'm bad at this. I like music and writing.. I'm sorry, this is going horribly" she inhaled a sharp breath.

"what about you, tell me about yourself?" she asked, intrigued.

Jackson couldn't help but smile, but his amusement melted as she returned the question. "Me? Oh, it's just nobody really asks me that." He scratched the back of his head. "I'm nineteen, I try and take part in sports in my spare time... my parents are gone, and the mafia's the only family I have left." After a moment, he lit up another cigarette. He sort of felt rude for smoking in front of her, but the idea crossed his mind that she might have been a smoker herself. "You want one?" He offered.

UtraViolet

Alaska
"yes" Margo answered quickly, almost desperately "sorry, Its just I'm just dying for one right now"

she looked at him in the eyes for a slip second before looking at her hands. she kind of felt rude for saying it so quickly.

"so, uh, what do we talk about now?"

"That's alright." Jackson chuckled slightly, leaning back in his chair as he pressed his own into the table's ashtray. He tapped the table for a moment before looking back at Margo. "Are you... in a relationship, or something?" The question was pretty abrupt, and while Jackson felt a little self-conscious asking it, it would be helpful to know if a lover would come out of the woodworks sooner or later and possibly jeoprodize his mission.

UtraViolet

Alaska
"what? no, ew" Margo cringed at the word "Relationship". she really wasn't one for "love", It just wasn't her thing.

"are you in a relationship" She kinda wondered, why did he ask that?

Jackson couldn't suppress his chuckle at the girl's expression, but his face heated a little as she shot the question back at him. "Uh- well, not currently."

The waiter returned to the table with the orders, Jackson helped himself to what his own snack, then drank deeply from his wine. He'd never been in a relationship, his life hadn't really made room for it. Talking to girls was a rare occurrence within itself.

"Does the idea just not interest you?" He was just asking for the sake of it now, though he did feel sort of relieved that no angry boyfriend or some such would come looking.

UtraViolet

Alaska
"eh, not really" Margo responded. Dating just wasn't her thing.

she slowly ate her snack. she wasn't that hungry though.

she kinda just sat in silence.

Jackson resumed tapping the table. He didn't mind silence, he rarely talked to anyone else himself, but something about talking with the girl was just... fun. It was difficult for him to describe, but her straightforwardness just made conversation easy. Back at the Family's estate, he was not permitted to talk at all unless spoken to, so it was rather refreshing having any interaction at all.

His wine glass was empty. Jackson reached for the bottle he'd asked the waiter to leave. It seemed he'd be hiring a cab for the rest of the journey.

"What did you think of me when you first saw me?" He asked out of the blue, plucking up his refilled wine glass.

"well, I thought you would kill me, so theres nothing much there" Margo smiled a little.

she kinda poked at her food, "what did you think of me?" she was always wondering what people thought of her, but she never asked.

Jackson shifted in his seat. "Even if for whatever reason I wanted to, the job's to escort you alive. You got nothing to fear from me." He then leant back as the girl returned his question. "I think you're rather... chill." Jackson looked her up and down. "Normally when I come to... uh- collect people, they try doing the running or fighting back thing. I'm normally the person people are afraid of, so when I stood in that doorway and saw you just stare back at me, I for once felt like the intimidated one." He chucked a little, finishing off the rest of his food.

UtraViolet

Alaska
"really? I, like me, Intimidated you?" Margo said, shocked "well, that's a first". She sat there silently, not knowing what to say. "uh, so..." she bit her lip a little, she looked at him up and down before looking at her hands.

Jackson noticed Margo's tight gesture. He glanced at his watch, pretending to actually care what the time was. "Oh- uh- wow, would you look at the time?" He flicked his cigarette into the table's ashtray, then popped a mint in his mouth from the packet he kept inside his jacket pocket. "We better get going." Jackson stood up, drained the rest of his wine and then pulled out his phone, ordering a cab to take them the rest of the way.

The cab driver seemed a little hesitant when he was told the intended arrival location, but obliged anyway.

Jackson led the girl out front, then sat on the edge of a short wall as he waited on the taxi. "Only a matter of time till you meet the boss. Nervous?"
He asked because, strangely enough, Jackson felt nervous himself. He'd grown rather fond of the girl, and meetings with the Godfather rarely ended well.

"no, il be fine" Margo answered, she started to nibble on her thumb, one of her bad habits. she was kinda nervous on going, but she had no choice.

she waited and waited till the taxi came, " oh, the taxi's here" she looked at Jackson.

Jackson nodded, stretching as he got up.

Inside the taxi, he spent a good part of the journey staring out the window, though he was acutely aware of Margo's reflection in it. After a while of sitting in silence, he finally sighed and spoke up. "Margo... I..." Jackson stopped, his eyes had caught a glance of the rear-view mirror, which revealed an unnervingly familiar car tailing behind them. Its windows were blacked out. Jackson's throat tightened. A rival gang.

"...I, um-" Whatever he'd been about to say vanished from his mind as the car pulled in front of the taxi, bringing it to a stop. Two armed figures stepped out, approaching them. They knocked firmly on the either side windows with the barrels of their guns, gesturing for the two to get out. Jackson tried to give Margo a reassuring look as he opened the door.

"what?" Margo looked at Jackson, then the armed men came. Margo looked out the window at them, Jackson got out, soon after she did too.

she looked at the men, then at Jackson. she wasn't sure what to even do, or who these people were.

Jackson looked between the two figures once he'd stepped out. They'd stolen his ski mask shtick, evidently. The taxi drove off.

One of them reached into Jackson's pocket and pulled out his gun while the other kept their weapon trained on him. They then forcibly lead him and Margo toward their own car, stuffing them in the back seat. The doors locked with a resounding click.

Jackson had no idea what to do. It looked like the gang members were taking them back to whatever gang's hideout the members were from. The one in the passenger seat kept an eye on the two while the other took the wheel, driving in the opposite direction of the family's estate. Jackson glanced sideways at Margo. They could still mouth words without being caught.

"Stay chill." He mouthed. It was a pretty stupid thing to say, though Jackson didn't know what other kind of assurance he could give.

Margo just wanted to cuddle up with Jackson, I know that it was kind of stupid but still. she was terrified.

she sat there in the back of the car, she inched her hand towards his, eventually she was squeezing his hand, hopefully not too hard. she watched him mouth something to her, but she couldn't make out what he said.

Jackson felt Margo's hand on his, and despite the situation, his face heated. He returned her hand squeeze. Things weren't looking too bright, so it felt good to at least have her there with him. Eventually he just straight up leant over and put her arm around her, if this was how he was going to die then he wasn't going to let self-consciousness tarnish his final moments.

Soon enough the car pulled into the driveway of a suburban house in a pretty rough looking neighborhood. The two gangsters up front got out and ushered them in. The iron fence was barbed and the lawn didn't look well tended-to.

Inside, after passing a double set of bolted doors, Jackson found himself and Margo surrounded by a bunch of gun-wielding, tattooed dudes. Some sort of drug party was going on in the living room, and several bruised, half dressed women milled about the gang members. Jackson didn't contain his disgust.

One of the gangsters led the two down into the house's basement, where a pretty shifty looking guy covered from head to toe in tattoos was waiting for them perched atop a table, two guards at his side. Jackson was pretty sure this was the gang's leader.

The leader chewed on a cigarette, eyes flicking between them, before he eventually raised a hand. "Strip off down to your underwear, the pair of you. I don't want no weapons in my crib."

Jackson glared, ready to protest, until one of the guards subtly reached for their pistol. Hesitantly, he began unbuttoning his shirt. As far as modesty went, he couldn't care less if these guys wanted him stitchless, but Jackson was acutely aware of Margo beside him. His mind whirred as he tried thinking of escape routes.

Margo was too terrified to protest. she quickly stripped down, even though Jackson was right beside her.

she looked down as she stood there. she just wanted to go home, and why did they want her? after all, what was there to her? she just waited for the man to talk.

she looked over at Jackson getting undressed, she blushed pretty hard, till she was completely red. she never really seen a practically naked guy.

Jackson gritted his teeth as the leader stood up, surveying his two captives. "Lock em up." The leader said at last. "I'll decide what I wanna do with them later."

The guards shoved Jackson and Margo over to the boiler room in the side of the basement, clicking the door behind them. Jackson slid down the wall, defeated.

"Sorry I got you dragged into this." He said, head in his hands. Locked in a room with a barely dressed girl - Jackson might have considered this a fufilled fantasy if the situation was different. The thought turned him red. Jackson resoundingly stood up. "I'll- uh- try and look for a way out." He began scrounging around the room, trying to keep his eyes off Margo's body.

"Jackson" Margo looked at him "its okay, you don't need to find a way out"
she kept looking at Jackson, waiting for a response. "look at me" she said sternly, she came to face Jackson in the eyes. "there is no way out, at least, I don't think. but let's see whats happens with that, guy. please" she kinds bit her lip and she also kind of did want to be alone with him in anyway possible.

Jackson relaxed. A little, anyway. There was obviously no way out, so he just listened to Margo and gave up the search. "Yeah, you're right." He managed to meet her stern look. Rather guiltily, he'd been secretly relishing the situation. So instead of picturing the situation as a organised kidnapping with the possible threat of execution, he just tried to pretend it was nothing more than a rather awkward game of seven minutes in heaven.

"I'm... sorry." He said again, though he managed to keep eye contact this time. His gaze kept getting caught, and in an effort to suppress his own staring, Jackson rubbed the back of his neck. "Oh, man, is it hot in here or is it just the boiler?"

UtraViolet

Alaska
"you're really red" Margo chuckled a little as she looked at his face, "but yes, its hot in here"

she didn't really know what to do next, it got kind of awkward. there was possible death in the next few minutes, and she had kinda liked him, but she really didn't want to do anything at all. but still. death.

so she decided to do it anyways.

Margo walked up to Jackson and kissed him on the cheek then hugged him slightly, it was ppretty awkward but who cares.

[Hey, Violet. I know this is pretty late, and I'm sorry for it, but I can't keep up posting now my schedule's back on. Damn, this RP has been fun, but I just can't keep committed to it. I hope you understand, and that I'll see ya round. Thanks for the ride.]
