Nina Simone Rivera

Nina had stayed out on the porch, watching as Alexander brought Maja closer and closer to the house. She almost immediately rushed towards them once they rushed inside the house, Nina almost bumped into Alexander on her way in, snapping her head in his direction as he left the safety of the building but ultimately choosing to aid her sister. Well, hypothetical sister but she was sure that Maja was her sister.

She looked over the girl once before deciding to actually say something. “Oh- goodness, are you okay?” It was an obvious question but Nina felt like she needed to ask. “Do you need any help with anything?” She questioned. Nina had no idea how she could help, but she wanted to ask in case she could. She wanted to give the girl a hug, but physical contact might make her even more scared. Especially since they’re practically strangers for now.

“I’m Nin-“ Nina cut herself off once she heard the loud roar of thunder as a bright flash shone into the house, it was impossible to ignore the after shock of what had just happened as well. The ground trembled worse than she did. Nina whipped her head in the direction of the sound, watching with a shocked expression. Alexander did that?! On his own?! Well- she was glad he was on their side..

Nina watched him collapse with a panicked look. That move must’ve been exhausting, Nina glanced at her half sister. An ounce of conflict appeared in her expression, she didn’t want to leave Maja’s side for a second. Especially since she just started trying to comfort her. But the man who played a role in saving her was unconscious on the porch and she could help him in some minuscule way.

Nina quickly stumbled towards the door and hurried to Alexander’s side, basically dragging him into the house. Which was relatively easy, thanks to her increased strength. Not without struggle but she got him inside the house in a few short moments, she perched Alexander against the wall and turned back to Maja, letting her know that she had her attention again.

“Sorry about that, I meant to say that my name was Nina. I’m a child of Aphrodite and I’m pretty sure you’re my half sister. I wish we could’ve met under less traumatizing circumstances.” She explained, trying to sound a little welcoming in this situation. She forced a little smile.

They were coming closer and closer, they were almost here. But apparently the Fury and Fates had a trick up their sleeve, one of them grew enormous wing, 'That is going to be an issue, a big one.' She wasn't sure if her illusions mixed with the birds would be enough to distract them any longer. But finally Alexander was finally through the door, he set Maja down, created a thunder bolt that hit the Fury, then collapsed. Aisling immediately went to his side, making sure he was okay, checking for two things, a pulse and a temperature. Luckily, she found a pulse and his temperature was normal. 'Seems like he just overworked himself.' Aisling sighed in relief, he would be up sooner than later, his life wasn't in danger anymore/ But she would deal with him and the girl later, she looked outside the door once more, Miles and Iason were still outside.

They needed cover from that thunder bolt, but she didn't know of a way to give them actual cover, her illusion wouldn't be of any use even if it covered them. They were fast however, they could probably find cover, or get into the house. What she was slightly more concerned about was the Fury and the Fates, they had just technically launched an attack on them, the gods might be livid, all that she prayed that it would be enough to stop them. She couldn't see the situation all too well, she ran out onto the porch to get a closer look. She wanted to see what would happen to the Fury, and also if Miles and Iason found cover safe;y.

Noam Dubois

The son of Demeter could barely regain control over his own breathing as he clutched the railing of their supposed new home turned refuge from the equivalent to hell spawn as far as he was concerned. His dark eyes skittering to his newest acquaintances, their expressions burned into his memory as they all went through their own processes of deciding what to do. With each new pair of footsteps founding on the wooden porch, he felt a fleeting comfort. Surely this wouldn't be all, they didn't even know if they'd be safe once that front door was closed. This could be just the beginning of a struggle against literal gods. Even if there was twelve of them against three, he didn't like those odds. None of them knew all that much about the others, their teamwork was subpar at absolute best. Noam was caught speechless as he watched Eddie pace, and Aisling attempt to comfort him.

As each of them came to the supposed safety of the home he was a silent watcher, his focus split between his own deep breathes and those who remained in the field. The weight of all encompassing distress drilled it's fingertips into his sides as he waited to see how it would all unfold. One slip up in his own negative emotions threatening to make his frame grow to an inconvenient size of sixteen feet tall. The soul shivering sound of that thing's screech as it all unfolded left him lurching forward off the porch until he saw those who had gone into it were turning around to come back. A genuine fear in his face as he saw the son of Zeus running like all hell with that new girl in his arms chased by that winged thing. Backing up onto the porch again, he offered his support in slowing Alexander to a stop and getting Maja off his hands. Offering a firm hand to show Maja she needed to get inside, letting Nina take over with such things.

That was when he looked over at Alexander and his breath caught in his throat. The determined ice blue gaze that stared off to their target made a shiver go down his spine. Looking over his shoulder to see clouds that weren't there a moment ago. A pure wonderous respect came to him as he watched something he had never thought he would, unfold so quickly. The boom that sounded with the mere warning of GET COVER, hollowed him. Noam flinched up to cover his ears for a moment as he glanced to catch sight of the lightning strike of godly power. The uneasiness of the figure that had commanded such an event demanded his attention back though and he just barely got to Alexander quick enough to prevent him from hitting the ground. Easing the demigod down, he glanced back at the target for a mere second before he breathlessly muttered, "Oh come on man, why'd you have to be a one shot? What if this isn't it..." He lamented quietly before letting Nina drag the handsome one shot son of Zeus into the house.

Standing back up, he turned to look if he could spot where the last two of them was after that lightning strike. The tingling warmth of his entire body warning him that he wouldn't be 6'2 for much longer if he didn't relax. Not that relaxation seemed to be on the agenda here at this demigod house of horrors.

Eddie read the message Aisling gave him, still pacing. They were fighting the fucking fates? Yeah, this was bad. Like, really bad. Eddie put the notebook down on the nearest surface, never once stopping his pacing. He wasn't prepared for this. What was he supposed to do? People were going to die. He was going to get caught in the crossfire. He was too young to die. Should he write a will? He should probably write a will. Would that girl mind if he used her notebook? Probably. Why did she pass him a notebook? Who does that?

Eddie's pacing got progressively faster, his arms moving more and more, flapping anxiously. He began to tune out what was going on, too absorbed in his thoughts. That's why he was totally unprepared when lightning struck.

It was so loud. So bright. So close to the house. Eddie covered his ears immediately, sucking in a sharp breath. What just happened? Alexander was unconscious on the porch. Did he do that. Wait - he actually made it? The girl was here too? Did Alexander summon that? Eddie was freaking out (wow, really, who would've guessed?) and he really needed to calm down. His powers had laid dormant for long enough - save for the wine making - that even if he had an outburst wine would just go everywhere. But he really needed to calm down before he went into a proper panic attack. Wait, no, he already was. Fuck.

"I - I need to go. Calm down." Eddie said to no-one in particular, before turning, and walking further into the house. Ideally, he wanted somewhere dark, quiet and small. A closet would be perfect, but anywhere, really.

He went inside the first closet he found, shut the door, put on his music, and hoped everyone would be ok. He wasn't much use out there right now, not until he managed to calm the fuck down.

Miles Peterson

The Son of Hermes couldn't really pin down any cohesive thoughts in his mind as he ran like hell to close he gap between him and the son of Hades as he appeared like a glorious Trojan horse out of the shadows at the feet of the nasty creature they sought to save Maja from. Every step didn't feel quite real, none of this chaos felt real, yet the sinking pit in his stomach as he neared their latest threat was all too daunting not to be. A nagging little reminder of his shitty little breakfast nearly threatened to make a comeback soon. As he assured that Alexander got a good hold of Maja, he felt some relief as he saw the son of Zeus run like the wind. He was about to follow suit when he looked back to the key to this entire plan working.

Unable to see the expression of the dark haired demigod, all he could see was his staunch back frozen as he looked up at the fury who preceded to let out the worst sound Miles had ever had the displeasure of hearing. It cut through the air and vibrated through his body, making him all too aware of how keenly mortal his flesh was. Why wasn't Iason moving? It didn't matter the reason. He reached out with his sound hand and grabbed Iason's closest wrist. "Not the time, Iason! We gotta go!" He urged with a commander's bark.

With the next breath, Miles had turned on his heels with his death grip on Hades' son as he put one foot in front of the other with a determination that knew the price if they didn't. They were not more than thirty feet behind Alexander, a silent respect had formed for Alexander with how quick he was on his feet, it refreshing to be met with people who were as capable as he himself was. The fluttering of illusive birds and a body double of Maja would have thrown him off if he wasn't so caught up in getting himself and Iason to safety. With Alexander reaching the porch and turning around. That silent respect turned to a bit of desperation as electric blue eyes stared to the clouds. His fingertips dug into Iason's wrist as he didn't dare look back on the off chance it might show just how close the winged beast was on their tails. GET COVER.

"Iason! Your shield!" His heart lurched into his throat as he strained to close the final gap between them and the porch. To make any amount of viable distance between them and the beast Alexander was about to smite. If he got electrocuted by the son of Zeus he wouldn't let him forget it. That was the last thought before the boom all too close behind them made his ears ring horrifically. Flinching, "FOR FUCK'S SAKE!" He cried out in frustration as he couldn't keep his footing as lightning carved a crater not even ten feet from them. Falling to the ground and praying that Iason would be able to follow through and protect them from friendly fire. It felt like his mind was shivering in his skull as he hit the ground hard, groaning and realizing he had let go of Iason. Reflexively turning back to see where Iason had gone... Was he safe? The world all too unreal in that moment.

Iason D. Montauc

Iason closed his eyes and stiffened his body for the impact.
A second went by, and another, but there was no impact. His heart was pounding, and his forehead was sweaty. But despite the almost certain skip of a heartbeat, he managed to convince himself to open his eyes.

The son of Hades looked like an ant in comparison to what stood in front of him, both in size and strength. It unfurled its wings, and Iason became even smaller. His hands drooped down and he stared at the Fury with his mouth open.

He was paralyzed.

In Iasons mind, only he and the Fury existed. A thousand possibilities crossed his mind, but he knew he couldn't fight off the Fury even if he tried. For a moment, he nearly cried out his mother's name but noticed that the Fury was looking at something behind him.

Before he could act, someone from behind snatched his wrist and yanked him hard. He didn't resist and started running in the direction he was being pulled.
He swung his head to look at the owner of the hand, and to his relief, it was Miles.
Iason was still a little dazzled by all that was happening around him and so didn't notice the screams emanating from behind them.

They continued running behind Alexander as someone from their group created illusions to distract the Fates and Fury, but Iason was still too hazed to notice it all. He shook his head and saw Alexender getting to the door and leaving the girl there. The man didn't stop there though and soon came out on the porch again. Iason turned his head to look back at the Fury that was right behind them. A shiver ran down his spine. He didn't see as Alexander started summoning a lightning strike, but all of a sudden "GET COVER!".

"Iason! Your shield!" Miles shouted.

Iason blinked in confusion but soon raised his shield above his and Miles backs. A boom! Miles shouted something, but Iason lost his hearing for a second and didn't make out any sounds around him. He also noticed that Miles's hand lost its grip on Iasons wrist. He stopped and looked back at a fallen Miles.

Iason had a fraction of a second to think of several viable plans of escape and choose the right one. Luckily one stood out as the safest and the quickest.

He leapt towards Miles, but instead of offering him a helping hand, he jumped at him and knocked them both into Miles's shadow. After briefly visiting the Dark place they both emerged from a shadow cast by Noam standing on the porch. They flew to the ground with the same power as when they entered the shadow, both falling hard onto the grass. Iason fell on his back and the impact forced what little air was in his lungs out. His ears were still ringing but he painfully gasped for air, jump back to his feet, and offered Miles a hand.

Carlos & Selena

The demigods both stared out at their home and dozens of others who called it the same scramble around from their place on Half-Blood Hill. Sat beside the giant pine tree that made the life their camp held possible, Carlos and Selena were preparing themselves to leave for the first time in years. Though the prospect might have worried any other camper, this is the exact thing that they were trained to do. As far as either of them was concerned, they had nothing to worry about. How might this come to be, you ask? We’ll have to jump back a few days to answer that question.

══•●•══ Three Days Earlier ══•●•══

Selena and Carlos had just finished one of their first courses of the day. Specifically, swordsmanship. It had dragged on for more than two hours which was an hour more than regular all because of some first-year camper from the Hermes cabin named Zax Nelson, who decided to be stupid and dump their weapons in the canoe lake. (The Naiads were not happy about that) Their instructor, Jason Johnson (Pretty cool Poseidon cabin counselor), had made the Hermes kid fish them all out of the water since they’d acted alone. Jason even gave them additional practice with him but Zax just couldn’t deal with it. Nope, he made it worse.

“What kind of crap is that? Nobody looked for the swords or racks and didn’t even try to help get them back!” He complained.
Jason quirked a brow at the boy, “mayhaps it’s because they didn’t recklessly throw their equipment into the canoe lake?”
“It’s still not fair to make me stay longer, I have archery after this!” Zax presented his weak argument as such.
But Jason had a quick counter from here. “I can still hold you back if I need to.”
“Nuh-uh! That’s like making me skip dinner, you can’t do that!”
He narrowed his eyes. “Alright then Nelson,” Jason smiled tightly as he spread his arms out to either side of himself to address the rest of the campers in his current care. “Two hours. All of you!” And the glares that immediately got thrown Zax’s direction were deadly, among the eyes that shot daggers at the boy were Carlos’ and Selena’s.

Carlos had already been beyond heated when he found out that his own sword had been tossed into the lake. Just as one would expect from a child of Hephaestus, he makes every single weapon that he uses and refuses to wield any other unless the situation is dire enough. While it might not have been as big of a deal since he did get his blade returned to him, he had implanted a flame-producing mechanic in the hilt of it. And the water had completely rusted over it all. In addition, because the parts weren’t working as they should have been, the sword felt heavier in his hands and gave him a sort of uneven grip on the handle that made him near sick to hold. There was no way he could use this!
While Carlos did admittingly love to both take apart and rebuild his projects, that wasn’t his issue here. His issue was that he couldn’t fix his blade. Of the materials that he had, the one he lacked was imperial gold as it often had to come from somewhere far outside the camp’s boundaries or straight from another place, namely, Camp Jupiter. Those kids barely left their camp either though!
He’d have to wait for another month before he could start repairs and that was him really looking at the best-case scenario.

Beside him, however, Selena seemed to have shared annoyance- But not for herself. She knew full well that Carlos treasured his work and his now ruined blade was no exception to that. If anything, it was the one thing that he valued the most- After Aspen of course…
She was upset on Carlos’ behalf.

After two painful extra hours of practice, both Carlos and Selena had things to get done. Usually, they’d sit in the bleachers that circled the amphitheater and simply talk about simple stuff but neither was in the mood and neither had the time to.
Selena placed her sword on the rack with most of the others’s then headed off to her cabin while Carlos had already been gone having taken his blade with him. There was no way he’d leave it out again for people to only damage it more.

At the convenience of the Hephaestus kids...And the other campers who had the guts to use it, there happened to be a forge that was located at the edge of a stream that ran through the camp with waterwheels spinning bronze gears. Even from a distance the sound of hammers slamming against metal, machinery working, and crackling fires could be heard.
He immediately had got to work on crafting himself a temporary sword that would still do its job while remaining as basic as he could make it. Just in case something else happened to the substitute of a blade, he wanted to make sure that he wouldn’t be peeved off at it. He wouldn’t cry over a random chunk of metal that was connected to more random chunks of metal, especially not a rushed throw-away project which his current one was. While Carlos got to work on his replacement weapon, Selena sat in her cabin bunk inspecting a small brown pouch that had been securely tied closed with a red ribbon.

Laced onto the ribbon was a small white piece of paper with greek writing on both sides and as she read the note, she could feel the distasteful feeling it gave her making its way onto her face. With a steady sigh, Selena stood up and raised an arm to the ceiling. She held her palm flat as she then called,
"Vangie we got somewhere to go!" Within a few seconds, an owl no larger than a small dog had flown inside and used Selena's index finger as a perch as it tucked its wings away. Just as Selena was making her way out though, she was greeted by Carlos at the door who held up a pouch just the same as hers and that moment told her that the two of them were in for a fun little trip.
A trip to a goddess's mortal home.

══•●•══ Present Day ══•●•══

"Seriously though, she stabbed one guy in the chest...using a brick. Do you know how hard that is? To stab someone, using a brick?"
"Get to the point."

"The point is there's no sharp edge. How did she get an entire brick into another person's chest? She either had to be really strong, or the other person had to have been born without like, bones."
Even with its set face, the owl that hovered over Selena's shoulder could stuff throw one hell of a glare at Carlos. The daughter of Athena could feel the strong feeling of annoyance radiating off of the poor creature and it made her sigh.
Selena lightly pinched the bridge of her nose and shook her head,
"Do you value functional sight?"
The question made the son of Hephaestus pause as if he really had to ponder the value of having both his eyes and it made Selena's face contort in a kind of confusion that just screamed 'what the fuck is wrong with you? ' while simultaneously questioning his actions and intelligence. It was a look she often had when she hung out with the big guy. If she hadn't known any better then she'd been scared that her face would get stuck that way with how often it happened. "Let's just go..."
Carlos was quick to open his pouch by ripping the ribbon off its top. Selena was quiet for a short moment.
"...You could have just untied it..."
And on that sweet thought, they were whisked away from the summit of Half-Blood Hill and brought to the chaotic scene that was the Violet Refuge.

When they had arrived on the scene there were more things going on than either of them could have ever hoped for there to be but even as they both had their eyes trained on the exact same thing, they still processed everything so differently. Selena was able to make some sense of the chaos around her as she evaluated as many points as her perspective would allow.

First, her eyes were drawn to the center-field where a giant sizzling crater had been. Then they flickered over to two shriveled old ladies, each in different places of the large open field. The one that had been closer to the crater seemed dazed. Even stunned. That made it clear that the elder woman had been attacked along with whatever else had decided to stay down. The other was much farther from them and even closer to herself and Carlos which made her feel uneasy. Something had been familiar about the older ladies though. Something chillingly familiar but once it finally clicked in her head, it'd been too late. Carlos was gone.

Having only noticed the goth grannies with cool scissors, Carlos hadn't known what to make of what was going on until he caught sight of a few moving bodies up ahead. He had to squint, but he could still definitely see it. In the field farther up north he could make out the roof of a building and even hear their frantic cries. He immediately knew that what he was seeing now was where he was supposed to be with them. Not outside with three wrinkly old bags that smelled more and more like fried cranberries. Glancing over at Selena, he could only hope that she noticed the same thing as he did. Without putting any more thought into his course of action, Carlos jumped in head-first, and gods if the man wasn't the smartest person ever, he sure was one of the bravest around.

The reckless male reached for the sword that had hung idly at his waist and unsheathed it as he managed a warning for the smoking grannies.
"Sorry to interrupt your sad excuse of a fight but I can't have you here on this property if you're just going to cause panic and fear to ruin what little hope t-" He briefly stopped to sidestep away from one of the ladies who tried to ram into him head-on. He blinked a few times, a bit underwhelmed by it. "...As I was SAYING!" He still couldn't finish before Selena had run in by his side. As she went further down she could see more people across the way and this is when she knew they'd separate. But before they did, Selena noticed something. Something horrifying that Carlos hadn't yet.
She called out for Carlos by name and the moment he turned to face her, she tossed a celestial bronze kitchen knife his way. By some crazy lucky flip of the coin, he caught it by its handle and twirled it around his fingers once before Selena lent him her help one last time.
"BEHIND!"
And with that, she had begun sprinting towards the house before the rising Fury could direct its anger at her. Unfortunately for Carlos...
He didn't have the chance to run.

Selena didn't stop running for anything even until she was inside the walls of the house but she did have the mind to grab the few people she saw around the porch and drag them in with her. Her mind had been at work as she briefly scanned those around her but she wasn't left observing in silence for long as she took in a breath. Her shoulders instantly untreated as an unplaceable and almost wild aura had now shown off her as she became the absolute picture of what she felt was authority in it's outer shell.

"Selena Celsa, daughter of Athena." She quickly introduced as she then pointed towards the door, "That... Was Carlos Blake...A son of the blacksmith god."
Instead of returning her arm to her side, Selena kept it held out as she patiently waited in silence until she heard an all too familiar hoot. Soon enough her companion flew in through an open window in the kitchen and landed on her finger. She pulled her hand back but kept her eyes on the other demigods, "think of me as a guardian. I'm only here to make sure no one dies- Any questions?" Selena level-headedly questioned the group though her heart ached from the thought of her friend's fate. The emotion wouldn't show as she refused to let it. Not knowing how shaken up everyone else much have been.

Miles didn't know what to expect when the world went spinning beneath him. The shock of the blast sending his all too sensitive demigod ears vibrating with an obnoxious vigor. When he looked back he didn't see Iason, panic settled into his very being. That was when he looked forward just as Iason shoved him... Into a space he couldn't comprehend outside of a nightmare realm. His gaze focused on Iason in that moment as nothing else seemed to invite a sense of comfort. As fast as he had been pushed through a darkness, they were shoved back into the real world, a different nightmare in itself if you asked him as he gasped for air.

Shoving himself up with partially with his scarred arm, he watched Iason jump up and extend a hand down to him. A breathless grin slowly spreading across his face as he looked up at the son of Hades with a untold respect that sparkled in even his scarred eye. He firmly took Iason's hand to aid in getting back up, looking him in the eyes as he did. A little moment of friendship forged in panicked plans which somehow hadn't resulted in their untimely deaths.

It would have to wait though as a supposed daughter of Athena had entered the stage and urged all those still on the porch inside the protective walls of the Violet Refuge. Keeping Iason within arm's reach, Miles didn't need much coercion to be brought inside. He looked across the collection of faces who were gathered in the kitchen with this... Selena. His chest heaving as he caught his breath slowly but surely. Had that new guy been the only casualty? "Everyone else got inside right? We aren't missing anyone?" He was almost shocked his plan worked, all twelve of the expected demigods were alive? He spotted the passed out Alexander and stared until he saw his chest move. He was glad even if his electrical stunt had nearly knocked him out for the count. At least he had been beside Iason during it all.

Maja couldn't hardly register what was going on anymore from the speed of which everything was happening. It all just felt like one thing after another. From her prince passing out cold to the bolt that induced his unconscious state, to her supposed sister being among the group, and then a strange woman whom she hadn't felt too sure about entering their shelter. It just felt like such a strain on her as her shoulder continued to ache, the skin around her neck wound beginning to pale. Maja hadn't kept too much of her attention off Nina as she briefly thought about how eager she seemed to have Maja here as her sister and at first, she was unsure of that fact herself until she replayed the girl's introduction in her head.

In an attempt to look more comfortable and pleasant than she currently felt, she managed a warm smile before her right hand reached up to grab at her wound as the burning sensation only worsened.
"Maja Stewarts, also a daughter of aphrodite." Her voice was somewhat strained but still remained as kind as ever, "nice seeing you sis but I think..." Maja stopped herself as she turned towards the door to see a stranger enter into the Foyer. It confused her enough to make her want to ask but before she could the female had already begun introducing herself as Selena. A daughter of Athena...

Maja found that....Interesting.

When asked about questions Maja was quick to say it,
"anyone pack any ambrosia with them? Not just for me here but I'm sure you all noticed that Alexander is out of it... Right?"

Her eyes turned a dark grey color, Aisling watched at two people, probably demigods, appeared. The boy caught a knife from the girl, and that was pretty impressive, he caught it by the handle. 'Wait, is he gonna fight them?!?' she thought. Sure he looked much more strong and experienced, but they were the Fates, anything could happen. But before she could think more about the matter, the girl had run into the house and introduced herself, the daughter of Athena. That was interesting, and her companion came flying through the window. She also introduced the boy seemingly about to fight outside, Carlos, son of a blacksmith god. Her first thought was the son of Hephaestus, but there could be another smithing god that she wasn't aware of at the moment. Aisling was still on the porch as Selena urged everyone to come back inside, she had missed her when she grabbed people from the porch. She didn't want to go inside. There was still someone outside, fighting, with no help and protection if everyone was inside.

Before all this, she noticed Iason and Miles get in safely. 'Thank the gods.' Aisling thought, as of right now, everyone was alive, aside from a passed out Alexander and Carlos fighting outside. Although she was on the porch, she could hear the conversation that the other were having inside. Miles had asked if they got everyone inside, he probably didn't notice her still on the porch. Aisling had begun to tap her foot on the floor, out of nervousness, it was a bad habit of hers. She then heard Maja asked if anyone had packed any ambrosia for Alexander. Unfortunately she couldn't help in that department, she barely packed anything herself. When Maja had mentioned Alexander's name, she glance behind her, he was there unconscious but still alive. Her gaze stayed on him for a few long moments. She felt guilty, she couldn't really help him. Sure made an illusion of Maja, but the birds would've distracted them enough for Alexander to get inside, she hadn't done anything helpful, and she felt guilty for it. Her eyes ent back to the fight happening outside, making sure she didn't miss anything. Making sure Carlos would be alright.

Carlos Blake

Son Of Hepheastus

Carlos wanted to watch his friend off and see to it that she made it to safety but if he valued his life in the slightest then he'd make a point to be more focused on that in the moment. Besides, if he died so early then he wouldn't get to learn how to stab people through the chest with a brick and that was not a very cash money idea. He quickly whirled around to face still sizzling and very pissed Fury. One of it's wings had been riddled with holes and twictched randomly while the other wasn't even attacted to her back anymore. Instead it laid dead in the crater Carlos had wished the beast stayed asleep in.

The creature screeched as its bronze talons swiped viciously at him repeatedly aiming to cut the boy to ribbons. Despite his bigger build, Carlos still managed to move fast and dodge the feral attack though he noticed just how desperate it was. Seems the kids already wore the poor thing out. His eyes narrowed at the Fury before he held his sword up and pointed the end towards the Fury and his kitchen knife at the fate with huge clanking scissors. The moment he did though, the knife expanded into a sword just the same as his other, greek symbols faintly glowing on the blade. He didn't have the time to notice the light they produced though as he was charged by the Fury once more only this time, it had been releasing a kind of red aura that made his hair stand on end. He tightly gripped his swords and got to work.

Its weapon back in its hold, the Fury growled at the demigod like a rabid animal would and Carlos could only think to pray.
"Come on dad, put in a word for me yeah? I don't need to get dragged by Hades for killing his mutant bat lady with a funny whip.."
With that, he felt ready enough. Before he knew it, the two had been going at it, head-to-head.

The fury snapped its golden whip at Carlos which had already given life to a new scar over his right cheek. He constantly ignored his very reasonable human urge to protect his body in favor of causing more harm to the Fury's which he had indeed managed to do. The only reason why he could was because he was no stranger to fighting a Fury. Back when he still lived in Los Angeles he could remember being chased through the streets by the nightmares while he was still on the run. Over time he'd been training fairly hard to be one of the best hand-to-hand fighters at CHB.
Unfortunately for him though, past experience gave the Fury an advantage as well. She knew his weak spot.

The Fury cracked her whip once more and instead of hitting his chest or face, she let its long tail wrap tightly around the boy's right arm in a hold that felt one made of steel and she mercilessly pulled the male towards her which forced him to either pull away or follow the direction he was being pulled and end up possibly dying on the spot. Though Carlos knew a thing or two about making important decisions and such, he wasn't prepared to do either option but if he stayed put then he'd just be dragged along...So he did the most logical thing. He resisted the pull of the Fury and tugged himself back. Carlos knew that there wasn't a chance he'd get the whip to release his arm so he'd have to give it up. With a deep exhale and pained yell, he succeeded.

He glared at the creature that grinned a wide one at him as he held what remained of his right arm. Though it'd been gone a long time ago, he wasn't used to even looking at it without his prosthetic attached. But now that laid on the ground torn up, the only partly okay pieces being the fingers. He didn't have time to do much more though as the two fates around them had begun to hiss, both of them staring at the same thing. When it happened to catch the Fury's attention as well, Carlos turned around to see a dome with a transparency similar to a bubble forming over the field and even covering over the house in the distance. Around the walls of the dome, purple butterfly wings faded into sight. It surely did intrigue him but it all seemed to disappear as quickly as it formed.

And along with the dome, both the Fates and the single Fury also disappeared. He blinked once and the huge crater that had been blown into the ground of the field was gone and the ground it covered looked uniform with the rest of the meadow. for some dumb reason, Carlos felt reason to smile as he then stared out at the house, his eyes trained on the last few people who hadn't gone in yet. He gave them a thumbs up but as he did, he noticed the blood that dripped off his hand. His eyes traced down to the stump of an arm that had been bleeding excessively. And just like that, he fell back and lay unconscious in the field of flowers.

'Woah' was all Aisling could think of while she watched Carlos fight. He was indeed the son of a blacksmith god, and it’s is seen in his fighting. He turned a knife into a big sword, it was very impressive in Aisling's eyes. She didn't really have any powers that enhanced items or abilities so it was always fun seeing them in action. Her focus was on the fight, it was going well in her eyes. Until, Carlos' arm was ripped off, when Aisling looked closer, it appeared to be a prosthetic, but getting ripped off still must've hurt a great deal. Her eyes turned a dark blue color, she was shocked, and he was bleeding out quite quickly. She legs immediately went down the steps of the porch closer to the fight. It didn't matter if she didn't want to, at this moment, her legs were walking on their own. She was walking slowly over to the fight, hoping Carlos wouldn't die from blood loss.

But luckily for him, he wouldn't be dying by the hands of the Fates and Fury, since they disappeared. Aisling didn't know why or where, but they just disappeared. 'Thanks Gods, they left.' She thought to herself. She stopped when she saw that, hoping that they wouldn't come back later. She watched as Carlos turned back around and faced the house and gave a thumbs up before collapsing. Aisling instantly sprinted towards him and did the same thing that she did with Alexander, check for a pulse, which luckily she found. Her eyes found the stump where his arm was, it was bleeding a lot, too much, she needed to temporarily stop it. Fortunately her shirt was long and had a lot of extra fabric she could use without absolutely destroying the piece of clothing. She untucked her shirt and ripped some of the fabric off and wrapped it around the area where Carlos was bleeding, resulting on some blood getting on her. Now she had another issue, getting him in the house, then the thought hit her, teleportation. Aisling help him but the shoulder and teleported them both inside the house, right by where Alexander was.

Once she was in the house, she didn't bother doing anything else aside beelining it to the kitchen. She needed ambrosia, and luckily she knew how to make some. Sure she was tired she hasn't teleported anyone with her before, plus the fact that she didn't use teleportation often either, but that didn't matter at the moment. It didn't take her that long to make some ambrosia enough for Maja, Alexander, and Carlos. She put it in three glasses. She set one in front of Maja and took the other two to Alexander and Carlos giving it to them, hoping they would wake up soon.

Nina Simone Rivera

Nina sat next to the unconscious Alexander, staying close and occasionally adjusting his shoulders so that he wouldn’t fall from how she had him resting against the wall. She immediately turned her attention back to Maja though, her expression was unreadable but Nina seemed to be… okay? Nina didn’t really know what to feel. She didn’t know anything about these monsters, or these gods, or whatever ambrosia was. She didn’t know anything. She didn’t know. It was frustrating and it made her want to cry, but she didn’t. She’s not allowed to cry, because she deserves whatever bad things happen to her. But the rest of these people probably didn’t.

Nina furrowed her eyebrows in thought. She knew one thing, it was that the one person who could be her family was right in front of her now. If Maja could accept her, then the rejection from the rest of her family wouldn’t hurt as much anymore. Her old family loved her, her stepmother loved her too. But she messed up too much, she ruined everything and that’s why they’re cruel to her sometimes. But this person could be her second chance. She wouldn’t mess up again. She could make Maja happy.

Nina nodded at her introduction with a slightly tired smile, concern expressed on her features. She watched Maja’s expressing morph attentively. She looked like she was about to ask a question. And Nina was ready to help- but then she asked something Nina couldn’t answer. She didn’t know what ambrosia was… Much less have any. Nina’s expression tightened a bit. She couldn’t do anything. Because she was an incompetent burden just like her stepmother said. She’s an idiot for thinking otherwise.

Nina shook her head, “No, I’m sorry, I can’t help with that.” She admitted with a regret filled expression. As if she had done a horrible thing but not having ambrosia on her or immediately knowing what that was. Then, the mute girl she had greeted earlier and a man with a bleeding stub for a hand appeared right in front of her and she let out a small frightened gasp. She watched the girl make a beeline for the kitchen and return shortly afterwards with three glasses of something. She watched Aisling hand the cup to Maja with a confused and still slightly shocked expression. Was that ambrosia? Nina stared at the glass for a moment before staring blankly at her lap.

Maja's eyes scanned the girl, brows knitted in concern for her. Something Nina's current state of mind bothered Maja's very soul in a rare way. She could feel such a heaviness from her that she even wanted to ask about it. She wanted to know what was going through the girl's head for her to radiate such waves of emotion but before she could, Aisling and some...Other person....Just kinda appeared in the Foyer with her. He looked to be out cold so she wouldn't worry about him. Glancing over at her half-sister's reaction she managed a small smile and leaned her head back on the wall. For the shortest moment, she felt the frown that graced her lips as Nina then apologized to her for not carrying something that not every demigod had anyways. It in fact almost made her cringe.

Maja only spared Aisling a nod and a smile as she now held a small glass of ambrosia. Just as she brought it to her lips and started to take a fairly slow sip of the healing liquid, she noticed Nina's eyes and the minor curiosity they held. It finally made sense to her then.

"This is ambrosia," She pulled the glass from her lips and handed it over to Nina. "Otherwise known as the drink of the gods. Now, we can't have too much of this stuff but just try it. It tastes different for everyone." She was able to smile more sincerely as the pain in her neck and shoulder eased. The worse of the wound had already been mending, color returning to the skin around it. Her voice dripped smooth like honey and sweet like pure sugar. She was trying her best to be gentle with Nina to improve her mood despite their current situation. After all, if they really were sisters, that would be her job.
To make Nina happy and keep her smiling. So that's just what she was planning to do.

The son of Demeter felt a relief like no other when Miles and Iason appeared seemingly out of his literal shadow after Alexander's attack. Assuring that they both got inside, his silent watching pointedly made him realize there was a couple new faces. One of which got inside, her ability to command a group nearly made him follow suit until he realized Aisling and the new guy, whose hair that could rival his, wasn't. His foot planted itself as he turned in the doorway, watching with dark eyes as the battle that unfolded.

His attention snatched by a flittering violet... A dome washing over and repairing the damage done to the property, disappearing as quickly as it had come. A little smile spreading across his lips as the three mcbitches disappeared with it. They were actually safe here. Suddenly, the porch roof over his head felt like a blanket fresh out the dryer on a winter morning. For the first time, he was actually safe. The nightmare was whisked away as a fickle little detail that didn't need to be considered.

All except the damaged people it left behind. He realized Aisling had run back into the field to check on the fainted newcomer who he heard inside was Carlos. Reality was a cruel bitch. He was about to run out to help the girl get him inside when she seemingly teleported. A breathless shock coming to him as he realized just how amazing they all were. Going back inside, he found her in the kitchen already hard at work on something else. As amazing as she was, there had to be a limit, this was really pushing it. He quietly maneuvered through the kitchen, grabbing a few snacks and a water bottle. Respectfully watching the girl do her thing from the background. Once she had delivered her medicine to the two unconscious demigods, he finally stepped in.

Carefully putting a hand on her shoulder, his bold eye makeup made him all that much more intimidating, but in that moment his eyes were sweetly concerned. "You've done enough... It will be okay. Come, you need to rest now." He reassured before motioning her to take a seat on a chair close enough to everyone that she could still hear and see most of what was happening. Offering the goodies he had retrieved for her once she did.

All Aisling could do was pray to the gods that her ambrosia would work on Alexander and Carlos. While she was making the ambrosia, she noticed Noam grabbing a few snacks and a bottle of water and watching her make it. She didn't pay much mind to him at that moment, she thought he was grabbing the snacks for himself. She could feel the tiredness slowly take over her body. Only then had she realised how much she did, make an illusion, teleport a man, make ambrosia, ripped up her shirt and got blood on her. She felt a hand on her shoulder, she looked up and found Noam looking at her with concern. And guided her to a chair gesturing her to sit and take a break. As she took a seat, Noam handed her the snacks and water bottle he had gotten earlier. She wanted to say thank you, but she couldn't she didn't have her notebook with her. She ended up signing since the first time she got here "Thank you!" Aisling signed to Noam and bowing her head slightly, hoping he would get her message. She opened on of the snacks and started eating it.

After spending a metaphorical eternity exploring the indoor garden and finding nothing but an abundance of beautiful foliage, Clarissa decided to return to the first floor. Her pockets bulged and threatened to burst with all of the blooms and stems she’d harvested and stuffed into every available space she could find. All four pockets, and even her waistband, were carefully packed with greenery.

Clarissa bounced down the stairs, happier with her discoveries than she’d ever been. Certainly, she’d be able to help out with all this stuff, right? Reaching the foyer, she set her eyes upon the new members of the group. A girl, name unknown, was helping the injured by providing what looked like ambrosia. Clarissa frowned, upset that she was too late to help.

“Pardon..”
She whispered as she stepped past a few members of the group on her way to the living room, loose stems and petals scattered like crumbs behind her.
“I found some things that might help. It looks like you guys have it under control, but I have Chamomile and Horny Goat Weed in case their muscles get stiff after they recover. I don’t move quite right after injuries like those, so I figured it might be the same for them.”
Clarissa spoke softly, at no one in particular, but cursed herself for rambling. She pulled handful, after handful of dry and dying plants from her pockets and shuffled over to the coffee table to lay them out. She sorted through them meticulously, easily identifying each type and adding it to a pile of its own.

“Relaxation… energy… blood clotting,”
The strawberry blonde spoke out loud as she labeled her many piles of green. She smiled to herself, proud of her collection. Images of shelf after shelf piled high with salves and tonics, popped into her head. Clarissa had more than enough resources to create just about anything she needed for medicinal purposes. Her nimble fingers plucked leaves from stems, separating the important parts from the useless, as she looked around the room and listened in on all the different conversations. Regret trickled in as Clarissa began to realize just how isolated she’d made herself. Everyone had made at least one acquaintance, and yet she didn’t know a single name.

Not too far from where she sat, the dark-haired man that had warned everyone earlier led a weak looking girl, the one that had been providing ambrosia, to a chair. Clarissa saw symptoms of exhaustion and realized that the girl had overworked herself. The man retreated and returned with snacks for the girl.

“Here, chew these up. It’s not going to taste great, but it’ll perk you up a bit.”
Clarissa plucked some sage and mint from their stems and extended her hand to the girl. She smiled warmly,
“My name’s Clarissa.”

Nina was upset that she couldn be what her sister needed, she was upset that someone else was able to do it so easily. Nina refused to look at the girl who was kind enough to help her sister. She didn’t want her expression to show. She didn’t want anyone to know that he was a horrible person who got jealous of people who were more useful than her. She didn’t want anyone to think less of her. She knew her feelings were unreasonable so she was trying to keep them to herself.

Nina only looked up when she heard Maja’s voice. Her expression lightened slightly from her previous one. Maja confirmed Nina’s theory of what she was holding and glanced back at Maja, curious as to what she’d say. She took the glass from Maja as she offered it to her. Her expression becoming slightly confused. She looked utterly bewildered by Maja’s words, watching her questioningly. She wasn’t mad at her? She should be pointing out her uselessness at an easy task or atleast glaring at her. Why was she being so kind? Was it because they were family?

She smiled at her sister’s sincere expression, a genuine smile mixed with nervousness. Almost as if she had never smiled like that before. She could cry at the sweetness of her sister’s voice. Nina looked down at the glass with a sweet expression, slightly unsure as always. But that can be worked on. She took one last glance at Maja, silently asking if she was sure.

Nina took a small, cautious sip of the drink. Her eyebrows raising in surprise. It was really good! But she didn’t quite understand why Maja needed it. Does it replenish energy? She felt a lot less tired, but that was it. Nina was virtually unharmed, so she didn’t really know of the healing effects. She pulled the glass from her lips and looked back at her sister.

“Thank you for sharing this with me.” She spoke sincerely, a curious tone took her voice as she spoke again. “What are its effects?” She questioned, not noticing how sister’s wound had started to heal.

Alexander Hendrix

Son of Zeus

Alexander was running. He didn't know why or what was happening, he just ran and ran. His eyes failed to tell him his surrenderings. He panted, and panted, feeling his energy slowly drain, but he never slowed down. His mind was blinded by fear and panic. He didn't know what the hell was going on, and was confused. Then a flash appeared, almost similar to the lightning bolt he summoned. He began to fall into a dark pit. His eyes widen and tried to let out a scream, but nothing came out.

He then made contact with the ground. A painful sensation struck across his body when he made an impact. He forced himself to get up, as pain struck across his body. He felt dizzy. As he stood up, he noticed he was in a house, a kitchen to be exact. But this house looked nothing like the one he remembered entering when he was still carrying the girl. He looked around, the pain dying out slowly. It had a light blue and grey color scheme, with everything a kitchen would ever need. It was very modern. At the middle of the kitchen was a table, with three chairs. He looked around the kitchen, it had no food or anything. Then he noticed a hallway, he quietly went through. He tried to reach for his sword, which was usually near his hip, but he was surprised to find nothing. He continued on anyway.

He entered what appeared to be a living room. It was empty but had a similar color scheme to the kitchen. The only thing in the living room was a broken photo frame, near the center of the living room. He also noticed he hasn’t seen any windows. He went over to the broken frame and picked it up. In it, was a picture of a man and a woman. The woman was slim, with dark, long hair. She was wearing a light blue dress and looked to be in her mid-20s. Her eyes were green. The man had a muscle build, with a recently trimmed beard that was white. He wear a dark tuxedo, and he had bright, sky blue eyes. They both were smiling. He couldn’t tell where they were, in the background. He felt something, but he wasn’t sure what it was. Then, he heard a loud scream.

He jumped up, dropping the photo and its frame. He immediately turned towards the sound, where another hallway was. He slowly approached it. Down the hall was a few rooms, most were locked, but two were open. He heard the scream again and decided to just rush it. He ran right into the room where the familiar scream and around him, the house collapsed into darkness. He found himself surrounded by flames. His panic and fear rose once again.

“Wh-what the hell is going on? Who’s doing this?” he screamed into the flames. But nothing responded back. He turned around, only to find… himself. He felt shock roll across his body. This other him looked just like him, only he wore greek battle armor, he also held a sword, but it was nothing like the xiphos. The other Alexander looked back at him and smiled. Then he turned into mist, and the fires died out. Then the worst part of it all. Alexander fell to the ground as a wave of fear and pain hit him, this was nothing he ever felt before. Then he heard the screams from the house, but this time, it was almost deafening. Electricity crackled around him, as he felt like his flesh was being ripped from his skeleton, then put back on with rusty nails. Then it all stopped and he opened his eyes…

When he woke up, he noticed he was breathing heavily. He slowly sat up, looking around. From what he could tell, everyone was here. He spotted new faces that weren’t present before. He was a bit confused but shrugged it off. He took a moment to steady his breathing and tried to remember his dream, no, his nightmare. He started to stand up but felt heavily sore throughout his body.

“I swear, whoever the fuck invited us here, better have an excuse on why I shouldn’t blast them to hell,” he said, as a wave of anger washed over him as he remembered why he was even there to begin with.

Then he noticed Miles and Iason were there and approached them.

“I gotta thank you, Miles. If you didn’t come up with that plan… Well, we certainly wouldn’t be living right about now. Anyway, what happened while I was out? Who are these new guys?” He asked them.

Once she finished a small bag of snacks, she folded it up and placed it in her pocket, making sure to throw it out later. As she took a sip from the water bottle, she felt slightly better. She noticed a girl coming up to her, when she was closer, she noticed it was Clarissa. She handed her some plant leaves and told her to chew on them and it would help her feel better. She grabbed the plant and saw as she extended her hand for her to shake. She placed the leaves on her lap momentarily and realised she didn't have her notebook. Instead, she grabbed her pen to write on her arm. "Thanks! My name is Iris." She wrote on her arm and showed it to her. She would extend her hand for her to shake as well. She was still feeling kinda tired so she would place her hands on her lap after Clarissa finished shaking hers.

She jumped slightly at the sound of Alexander yelling, covering her ears again. That was how she knew Alexander was finally awake, thank god her ambrosia worked. She also spotted her notebook by the entry way. Standing it, she walked to go grab it. Noam might be a bit angry that she was already walking around again, but she wanted to see if Alexander was alright. She grabbed it and opened it to a clean page. Aisling had heard Alexander's question earlier and decided to write the answer to it down on her notebook. She wrote out what happened after he passed out and explained who Selena and Carlos were. Also that it was her who gave him some ambrosia and asked how he was feeling at the end. It was all written down spread across two pages. She tapped on Alexander's shoulder and handed him the notebook. She hoped that her appearance didn't startle him too much. She was wearing a ripped up t-shirt, splattered in some blood, and looked pretty tired. She hoped he was feeling fine after all that happened.

Shaun ~ Post 1

Shaun woke up in a depressing mood. The day before, he tried to convince his step-father from making another expansion in the Atlantic ocean. It just ended up as a fight, as they yelled at each other. His mother had to break out of the fight and chastise him. He couldn't believe his mother would support his step-father. He clenched his fists just thinking about it. He got up and dressed, then he heard a knock at the door. He came over and opened it. It was the family butler, Jeff. "Sir Shaun, sorry for my interruption, but are you ready for breakfast," Jeff the butler asked. "Sure thing Jeff, let's go," Shaun responded.

They walked down a clear glass spiral staircase. The majority of the house was white, except the bedrooms. His bedroom was ocean blue, his mother's room was dark purple, and his father was simple black. As they approached the kitchen, Shaun sat down on a nearby stool and was served a simple breakfast, as per his request. Eggs, bacon, pancakes, and sausages. His mother and step-father were already eating. His mother smiled when she saw him, "Good morning Shaun!"

"Good morning mom, good morning Mark," Shaun responded, as he began to eat.

"So, what do you plan on doing today," Mark asked while staring at Shaun.

"I don't know, thinking about going to the beach again," he responded. He noticed Mark's stare at him and avoided eye contact.

"Shaun, you're 20. You have to do something else than to the beach. Your college grades have been dropping and I'm not gonna allow you to fail. Whether you like it or not, you'll be running my companies after I'm gone." Mark said strictly.

Shaun just stared at him blankly. He pushed his plate aside and started to walk away.

"Where the hell do you think you're going?" Mark said, with a bit of anger seeping into his voice.

Shaun put on his shoes and went for the door. "I'm going out. See you guys later."

Shaun took a jog to the beach that was nearby. When he arrived, he started running to the ocean and dived in. He felt a wave of peace throughout his body, he always goes to the ocean when he's stressed or mad, and it always relaxes him. He was an excellent swimmer, he swam deeper into the ocean. He breathed the salty water, he wasn't quite sure how his breathing in water worked exactly, but he never questioned it. Finally, he reached a nearby bright beautiful coral field. It was thriving with fish of all kinds. He swam into the coral field and watched as all the fish swam with him. He smiled, as he watched all those fish swim with him. He wanted to stay in the sea forever, but he had to meet up with a friend in about 15 minutes.

He shot up to the surface, like a jet, and reached the beaches. As he started to walk, he noticed something in the corner of his eye. He turned to look at it. It was a brown pouch, it stood out as most of the beach was a whiteish yellow color. He walked over and picked it up. He had a flashback about the email. At the time, he dismissed it as a joke. People pulled pranks and jokes all the time. He studied the pouch for a minute, it had a golden ribbon. He pulled it and the pouch opened. Nothing happened... He started walking to the nearby trash bin when he was hit with a burst of wind. He was flown into the air.

"Hello demigod, welcome to North Wind Airlines. We thank you for choosing our services, are you ready for your flight to begin sir?" said a feminine voice, Shaun couldn't locate it.

"Uh, s-sure?" Shaun wasn't exactly sure what to say. This was the last thing he was expecting.

He felt a seat made of wind and air form around him. "What the-" Shaun was shocked, he was sitting in a non-existent chair.

"We are off to our next destination, please strap on your seat belt and keep all hands, legs, and heads inside at all times. In the event where something might happen including injury, the loss of or any damage to personal possessions, sickness, diseases, or even death we will not be held responsible."

He felt a seatbelt and buckled. Then it occurred to him, "What a minute, where the hell are we going-" Shaun was interrupted as winds blew him, to what he assumed, supersonic speeds. His heartbeat was rapid. His mind was full of shock and confusion. Then it stopped, when it did, Shaun collapsed on the ground. His body was still in shock, and now, he started to feel sick, and a bit jet-lagged...

He heard the feminine voice say, "Thank you for using North Wind Air! Continue straight ahead and you shall reach your destination. Also, remember to give us a good rating on your next flight." He felt another blast of wind, thankfully, it didn't take him. Then Shaun proceeded to puke.

"There goes my breakfast," he said, as he got up. He looked around, from what he could tell, he was in a meadow. He saw a path leading to what he assumed was his "destination". As he started to walk, he noticed something. He couldn't sense any ocean nearby. He frowned. That's not good if I get some trouble..., he dismissed the thought and continued walking. He stayed positive.

As he walked, he noticed something in the distance. A building...? Well, finally, he thought to himself, as he began to approach the house. Maybe those emails weren't lying after all, will there really be others? It seemed like hell broke loose or something. He was confused but continued on. He finally reached the door and knocked. He was pumped about meeting others like him. He smiled as he waited patiently.

He watched her motion her hand from her chin and smile with a gratitude that struck him as a thanks he couldn't totally translate as he gave the girl some snacks. "Don't worry about it-" The son of Demeter watched over those who were worse for wear if not from a distance than as he did with Aisling. Finding comfort in her compliance with resting, if not for just a moment. Noam watched his unknown half-sister so proudly bring more plants than he had ever thought could exist in one's pockets out. Giving some to Aisling as she introduced herself. Clarissa. A delicate name for a pretty girl.

"I am Noam, or Nick, or whichever I happen to respond to-" He said before his attention was snatched by a panicked Alexander waking up, "Welcome back to the land of the living, one-shot." He chimed playfully. Watching Aisling as she took the lead in explaining everything in her notebook for the son of Zeus. She had that covered. He gave Clarissa a smile, "Have anything for bad breath?- I didn't exactly do a good job of planning ahead this morning." His voice was a sweet symphony that didn't judge nor have any real shame in it. Despite the potential for embarrassment on his part. He'd chew on any plant she offered him with a cheerful thanks.

Doing a headcount of who was present, he realized that at some point Eddie had disappeared. "Where is Eddie-" His calm changed to an urgent need to find the demigod who had been so distressed earlier. Gently maneuvering past Clarissa, he muttered, "I'll be right back-" Searching through the gorgeous halls of the Violet Refuge, he listened past the distant sound of conversation for any sign of Eddie. Eventually a little sniffling caught his attention and he was guided to a closet. Slowly opening it as he peered in to see Eddie curled up at the bottom of it, "Oh goodness- Eddie- Hey, hey, hey..." He kept his voice a delicate coo as he lowered down to Eddie's level. "May I hug you?" He asked gently as he cautiously placed a hand on his shoulder, his large hand rubbing back and forth carefully. Only once he got permission the giant softie in a leather jacket and fishnet crop top would practically pull Eddie into his lap to cradle in a big hug. "It's going to be okay. Guess what? Everyone got inside- Everyone is safe now. A girl- Aisling I think her name is, even made healing potions for those who were hurt." He explained all that had happened to reassure the young man hidden away in distress.
"Anyone got some gum?"

Eddie didn't know how much time had passed, but at some point he'd taken off his headphones, needing the absolute silence and dark of the closet. He hugged his own knees, still sniffling and occasionally losing control of his breathing again, almost going back into a panic. He'd been like that for an indeterminable length of time, as time seemed to stretch for hours in this state, when the door cracked open. Eddie flinched at the light, closing his eyes and burying his head in his arms. The light seemed to reach them anyway, along with the slight difference in air temperature, and the slight draft that the open door created. It all felt too much. Then he heard Noam's voice. It was soft, still too loud, but soft enough that it didn't make him want to cause irreparable damage to his own hearing. Eddie listened as he spoke, the voice lowered from whatever ridiculous height Noam was, right down to his level.

"May I hug you?" Noam asked. Eddie didn't know what to do with such a question. He tried to think of the last time he'd been hugged. He couldn't remember. He was half tempted to tell Noam to leave him alone. A hand was on his shoulder, and Eddie tried not to flinch. He knew he failed, knew his body jerked at the contact. He hadn't seen it coming, eyes still hidden in his arms. He lifted his head, and seeing Noam's expression, knew he was only trying to help. He nodded cautiously, not wanting to disagree in his vulnerable state. He didn't have the energy to deal with Noam being disappointed or upset with him for not accepting a well meaning gesture.

Eddie found himself scooped into Noam's arms, his body warm and soft, especially compared to the floor of his closet. He stiffened for a second, brain practically shorting out at the unfamiliar situation. Then, he relaxed. Despite his reservations, it was surprisingly comforting to be held like this, and Noam was definitely a better place to sit than the floor. He leant his head against Noam's shoulder, pushing his hair out the way, wrong texture, too shifty. The leather jacket was nice, though. Noam was explaining that everything was fine, everyone was alive. Eddie hadn't even been thinking about that, more sensorially overloaded than worrying about the other demigods. Still, he soon found himself crying again, tension he didn't even now he had finally releasing.

When Noam was done talking, Eddie lifted his head a little. "Could you close the door? Too bright." He mumbled, voice hoarse and shaky. It felt like too much effort to move his own body to shut it. Plus, Noam's arms were longer, it'd be easier for him to reach. If Noam shut the door, Eddie would relax even more, the light gone, pleasant darkness returned. Plus, it was embarrassing enough for one person to see him like this, he didn't want anyone else to. After a while, he'd calm down almost completely breathing evening out, almost on the verge of falling asleep.

Iason D. Montauc

He helped Miles up and stepped aside as the son of Hermes made his way to the house.
Still rattled by the previous action-film-like scenario, he looked down and cleared his throat in an attempt to get his thoughts back together. My briefcase was the first thing that he thought of. He turned to look at where he had left it, only to see it laying on its side there. Deciding to do things in order, he jogged across the grass to his briefcase and picked it up.

But as he was heading back to the house, it finally struck him. That familiar feeling. It was his father, Hades, and the being that chased them, the Fury. It all made sense and made no sense at all at the same time. Three questions popped up in his mind though:

First, why were the Fates and the Fury after that girl, Maja?
Second, why was the Fury with two Fates?
Third, the hell was his father thinking while sending his people up after someone?

It all was very confusing, but as a son of Hades, he hoped he would be able to question the Fury. But as he looked at where the Fury would be, he noticed two additional people. One of them was running to the house, while the other was facing off with the Fury?

"Oh no..." he muttered as he increased his speed.

He couldn't help, he had no leaps left and his shield had already dissipated. Luckily, he didn't feel like anyone was about to die. It was a definite relief.

When he got to the house, a newcomer, Selene, had taken the position of the centre of the group. He didn't care about that. He quickly glanced at Alexander. Iason felt respect for the man. After all, it was him that carried the girl across the meadow and almost paralyzed the Fury. As well as me and Miles he jokingly added in his mind. Anyway, the Fury he continued his train of thought and made his way to a window.

The fight was stalling. Neither of them could make any significant moves. Iason knew that he wouldn't be able to speak with the Fury this time. Perhaps with his father?

He turned his head from the window to think when Alexander woke up. Iason turned his attention to the son of Zeus. The man's bewildered look made it clear that something was off. Well, aside from everything that is going on in here. A girl, whose name he sadly did not know, rushed to him with her notebook that seemed to have the answers Alexander needed.

Iason decided to check up on him.

"
Hey, how are you feeling... Alexander was it? A lot of stuff happened back there, eh?" he asked after Alexander was done reading Aisling's notebook. He tried to sound as casual as possible. He was terrible at social interactions.

Alexander Hendrix

Son of Zeus

Alexander noticed Aisling approaching and he turned to face her. She handed him her notebook and he started to read it. He noticed her appearance but he shrugged it off, everyone looked like crap.

“Well, thanks for healing me up. That attack I pulled off really…” Alexander remembered his nightmare for a moment. “...draining.” He snapped back to reality.

“So, Carlos and Selena are also demigods. Really showed up at the wrong time, but they can’t be blamed, eh? Well, at least everyone is alive,” he said as he read what happened and who Carlos and Selena were.

Then he read the part asking how he was. He chuckled a bit, “I feel like hell, but other than that, I’m fine. Well, I would feel way worse if you hadn’t patched me up. Thanks again,” he said to Aisling, handing over her notebook.

“How are you?” He asked her. Judging by the way she looked, she probably didn’t feel great, but he was curious. He noticed he was becoming far more comfortable with her than he has with the others.

He then noticed Iason approached him, asking him if he was alright, in a very nervous tone. "Well, I feel like hell, but I bet most of us feel that way," he responded to Iason. He could tell Iason was nervous, but he really didn't know what to do. "Are you alright," Alexander asked. As he waited, he couldn't keep his mind off of the nightmare he had. It was burned into his mind. The best he could do was to not think about it...
