A Special Guest~

The sun above the house shined high and bright in the sky and the wind blew just enough to give a comfortable breeze. It was as if the gods were smiling down on the group enough to allow the nice weather. But little did the children know the chaos that was happening off the property. The real world below them was flooding, the ground was shaking, the sky seemed to be falling, and countless people were actively dying. And that was only the beginning of it all. With the gods in total disarray, it seemed as if nothing would get better but she still had to have hope that Athena’s plan wouldn’t fall at the seams. She had to trust in the goddess' superior thinking. That is her thing, right? Unlike Ares who betrayed them and backstabbed his own sister by telling daddy Zeus. It was simply distasteful and utterly dishonorable.

In the grand garden of the home, she now sat on a bench in a creme white dress that flowed even while she sat like steady currents of water slowly drifting at her feet. Perfect freckles sprinkled across her soft peach skin that went quite well with the most voluptuous ginger shoulder-lengthed hair you’ve ever seen that she had braided towards the back. She had her leg crossed one over the other in a proper way, a calm aura radiating off her. A power like the fates but softer, kinder, and far from powered by death and violence. She was the exact opposite. Anyone who simply glimpsed at her would feel at ease by it. Her energy simply beckoned people to come closer.
Beside her, sat her husband. Eros.

Now if you want me to describe the god of procreation…I can't. Just like his mother, Aphrodite, Eros appeared to everyone very differently. Whatever the person looking at him would consider being the perfect-looking guy is what he was. No one had the same sight of him but what couldn’t be changed was the fact that he held his giant bow in his hands, fiddling with the string that strung past both ends while his quiver lay against the wooden leg of the bench that shared full of silver, black, and gold arrows.
For those who are curious.
Gold Arrows often made the people he shoots them with fall in love Love. While Black Arrows make the person shot Hate whoever he wants with no chance of that care of love showing through for them. His Silver Arrows, however....Well in the myths it's said that they carry curses made by Eros himself, some say their poison arrows stolen from Apollo that carry ailments of all kinds. Others even say that they only cause a sense of friendship in the target(s). But no one could be for sure as he himself had never shot them.
And for the group's sake, they should pray that he would never have to.

He wasn't happy either. Deep scars marked his beautiful and otherwise perfect face and loose shoulder which seemed to only feed into his own negative aura. Their energies were so contradictory as Eros' told those that came across him to stay away unless they wanted to be shot in the eye with a hate arrow. Hell, he'd make them hate themselves and the servents knew this.

Psyche looked almost worried as her husband's unsavory emotional state was caused by his lost battle with the king of the gods himself. It in fact, began to spoil her own mood and she began to wonder how long it’d take for those children to enter the home as she hadn't sensed much activity in the bones of the house. While she felt nothing on the inside, her eyes had begun to glow a soft blue from something happening down below the surface.

A soft smile made its way onto her face as she stood from her spot and watching her, Eros did the same.
It was about time he met these troublesome kids.

He started his countdown at Alexander's confirmation. And while Carlos would love to say that he was confident in the fact that this would work, even with the blessing of Psyche, he was unsure of how this would exactly play out. "One....." In the air in front of him the air was slashed, flames crackling and growing fiercely. Little by little, they began to expand and crawl downward until they looked like literal curtains of fire that were now forming even behind his back to replicate each other. "Two...." The flame that bordered the veil of curtains had started to die down, an image shimmering through it. "Three!" Eventually Carlos' body moved him forward as if he had no choice and he ran head-first into the flames, disappearing from the banks of the Acheron but even as he did, he caught the sight of another familiar figure moving at the exact same time. His eyes widened in alarm, "What in Hades-" Before he could make a full turn to see who it was exactly was, Carlos had already found his vision black with nothing but blackness. But somehow he could still blink and behind his eyelids, the black was somehow less dense.

He counted the seconds that there was endless nothingness.
    72 seconds in all.
Then there was a light. One that nearly blinded him when he opened his eyes. Blinking rather fast, Carlos let his eyes adjust to the sun that he hadn't seen in more than a year, its warmth welcoming. As a child of the fire god, it surely did feel good. But then his mind snapped back to his surroundings. He seemed to be lying on his back in the grass of a wide field.
    He was finally home.
As he sat up, he wanted to be happy and relieved, and he wanted to see Nina standing right there for him to run to. But what he got instead was a whizzing arrow that clipped his ear but if he'd been lying down still then he was 100% sure that the arrow would have passed clean through his right ear.

"You're that Hephaestus kid right? GET UP!" A voice then snarled at him and his body felt compelled to follow the command. Getting onto his feet, Carlos' heart stopped as it fell in his throat. Right there in front of him, he saw a being who looked almost exactly like Noam. But he knew from the feeling this person gave that it most certainly was not him.
The man glared at Alexander with boiling hatred and pointed to him, "son of Zeus on your feet and run or fight!"

All the kids were in the house, Nina and Aliviyah would take of them, she just knew it. They were kind souls, much unlike her own at this point in time. She breathed in the air, guard up, she sensed for anything in the yard. At first she didn’t sense everything, but she just had this gut feeling, something was going to happen. But them she felt it, demigod auras, and familiar ones at that. One of them surprised her, a strong aura she knew all too well. Opening her eyes, it settled on the three boys, well men now, standing in the field. ‘It’s a trap. It has to be trap. They’re dead.’ Was all Aisling could think as her breathing hitched. She couldn’t breath, it’s like the air in her body didn’t want to move, do anything it was supposed to. ‘How is Nina gonna react to this?’ Was her next thought. Nina had been dating both Eddie and Carlos, and Aisling knew she was a bit fragile at the moment, after greeting all the new kids. She knew her body needed to do something, she had to. Although she wanted them to be real, she wanted Alexander back in her arms again, she was convinced it was a trap. And until she was convinced otherwise and the house and group was safe-and-sound, she would fight till her last breath if that was what she had to do.

Before she could make her move however, she heard an arrow flying past. Looking at the source of the sound, the aura felt like one of a minor god, but kinda looked like Alexander to her but she knew it wasn’t him, Alexander didn’t have that aura. ‘Eros?’ She took a guess. She wasn’t sure if Psyche had a guest over, but Eros was the best guess to a guest Psyche would bring over. Hearing what he said to Alexander, ‘son of Zeus on your feet and run or fight!’, Aisling knew she wanted to handle him herself. With the enhanced speed a demigod would have, she quickly removed another dagger from her boot and ran over to Alexander, pointing the end of the dagger at his neck. It connected with the skin but not enough for it to bleed. Her eyes turned a blood / crimson red, an expression mixed with anger but a hint of sorrow was plastered on her face. Her hair up in a ponytail made the scars she got over the years very visible. And if he paid attention, he would recognize the hilt of his sword on her back. Way back when she cut up a lightning bolt out of some leather and made it into a necklace in remembrance of Alexander, but now it was tied around the hilt of the sword, Alexander would be able to see that too. Looking into his eyes, it looked like she was challenging him, and boy was she ready for a fight.

To be honest, everyone was giving rather conflicting orders. She thought the new arrivals were gonna be her responsibility to speak with but now that was changing? It seemed to be the case. Aliviyah didn’t seem too keen on letting her go anywhere else besides the kitchen, and Aisling was already halfway out the door. Nina felt Aliviyah let go of her hand and quickly looked at her. Nina swore she almost saw a grimmer expression on her face. Her lips parted slightly before Aliviyah grabbed her wrist again, Nina only hesitated for a moment before she followed Aliviyah.

She was ready to make some food for the new arrivals. They must be hungry anyways. Nina was about to help out until she noticed something troubling. Psyche was standing at the door with a man she’d never seen before. Nina watched them, a giant bow held in his hands. Nina couldn’t get a clear look at his face as he left the house.

A terrible scream and the sound of cracking earth filled Nina with a sense of dread. Of course something went wrong! Nina bit the inside of her cheek as her soft expression turned into worry. She moved away from Aliviyah to check on what that chaos could possibly be. Nina spotted the terrible beast almost immediately, but it didn’t have her attention long. Nina noticed someone rising to their feet in the grass. Someone she never thought she’d see again. Not in her lifetime, atleast.

“Carlos?” Her voice only came out as a shocked whisper. The world seemed to slow to a stop around her, all the noise from the battle happening in front of her was drowned out by the rapid beating of her own heart. She had to force herself to breathe after a few moments of staring. This couldn’t be? Carlos was gone, she was sure of it. This had to be some sort of trickery or illusion. That didn’t seem to stop Nina from rushing towards him with the full speed of a demigod. All self preservation was out the window the moment she was given an opportunity to be held by him again.

Who cares if it was an illusion? It was a happy one. She wouldn’t mind dying if it meant she could look at his face again. Nina grew frustrated as the sight of him grew blurry from the tears that blurred her vision, she wanted a clear sight of him for as long as she could. Her expression was a mixture of heartache and yearning. Nina tried to blink away her tears as quickly as her could, as if she expected him to disappear before she could reach him, or that when she did she would fall right through him. But he didn’t, she barreled right into his arms, the familiarity of being there almost fully convinced her that he was the real deal. As impossible as it was. She desperately wanted to believe that it was him and that he had come back to her somehow. Nina was so caught up in her feelings at the moment that she didn’t even realize that she was openly weeping.

Alexander Hendrix

Son of Zeus

Carlos started to count down and Alexander felt his blood rush. He was starting to spark more and more, then they teleported. Alexander saw Carlos had flames around him, but he didn't have time to check it out. In a blinding flash, Alexander teleported. Right before he did, he noticed a strange figure near then, but he didn't have time to think about it. For a while, all that surrounded him was blinding light, so bright, closing his eyelids would have been pointless. His atoms were engulfed in electricity. He focused on keeping the house's image in his head. Then it all stopped.

He took a deep breath, and open his eyes. His eyes took a minute to adjust, but when they did, he almost cried. He was home again. He looked at the clear, blue sky, at the sun. He felt far warmer than the cold hell that he came from. He saw Carlos was next to him and started getting him. He followed suit. Then he noticed other people, most were near the house. He spotted her. Aisling. A wave of emotions came over him, he completely froze when he saw her.

"A-Aisling?" he said very quietly to himself. He had no idea what to think, wasn't she dead? Didn't she die from the cy-

His thoughts were interrupted as an arrow went right by him, almost hitting Carlos. Alexander felt like something was wrong, then he heard a voice. It was a very demanding voice, godlike. It gave him goosebumps. He looked in the direction from where the voice was coming from and saw... Aisling? That filled him with more confusion. There were two? And one can talk? What the hell was going on here?

"Son of Zeus, in your feet and run or fight!" This other Aisling ordered him. Their voice was full of anger, as they pointed to him.

"Fight?" Alexander confusing said. "Why do I need to fight?"

He turned around and spotted a wounded monster on the ground. It looked awfully familiar...

"Kampe? But how the hell is it here? We literally just fought against it!" Alexander knew the situation turned serious real quick, but he decided to stand his ground and fight. And that's when he was attacked.

Aisling attempted to stab him in the neck, but it did nothing. As her attack failed, he noticed she had turned red. Then, he noticed something on her back, the hilt of a sword. HIS SWORD. He was full of confusion, why would she, Aisling attack him? Unless... She wasn't Aisling. It finally occurred to him. What if he never left the underworld. After all, everything that happened seemed too... good. Hades would never allow a son of Zeus to get another chance. Even for his wife, this was unheard of. What if, all of this was his punishment? It's a bit extreme but isn't unheard of. Some of the worse punishments are complex, and Hades has always hated Zeus. Torturing his son could release some of the anger he has with Zeus. And Hades knows how to torture every single soul. If he was really still stuck in the Underworld, this would be a perfect punishment for Alexander.

Alexander's confusion turned to anger rapidly. If this was all his punishment, it was working. But he wouldn't let this continue. If it was all fake, then if he attacked... no one could get hurt, right?

He summoned a gust of wind, throwing Aisling off-balanced. He quickly grabbed his sword from her and flew up. He remember the other Aisling saying to run or fight earlier, but he was sure it was only to confuse him. To trick him. He summoned a massive wave of air, pushing himself up to the clouds. He was filled with anger, completely overflowing. His mental state was like a wine glass, the water was his emotions, his fears, his hatred. At this moment, the entire wine glass shattered. He blamed himself, he blamed the cyclops that caused his and his loved ones death. But most of all, he blamed Zeus. His own father, the lord of the sky, the supposed King of the Gods himself, had done nothing for him. All he did was give him a sword, but that was it. His father didn't even save his own children, he could have at least saved Dawnelle!

As he went higher and higher, storm clouds started to form. But this was a storm never seen before. It was a storm of unimaginable power. The once clear sky was covered in a thick, black blanket. It was almost like it was night. Then, the lightning started. But this lightning was rapid and powerful, fueled by Alexander's emotions and broken mental state. Alexander was so blinded by his emotions, he didn't notice that he had a companion who had grabbed onto him...

Carlos Blake

Son Of Hepheastus

Carlos once again had the sword in his hand, watching as it's blade glinted in the sunlight like stainless steel. But before he could rush forward to help support the god, his full attention was taken by the most beautiful sight he'd ever laid eyes on. His heart stopped and dropped from his chest as he voice caught in his throat."Nina....." He lowered his weapon. The one he'd made for only her hands. And he suddenly feeling horrible about using what was only her's to use. But that guilt was soon overpowered by a sense of relief.

After all this time he's gone about his afterlife as best he could, surviving off his happiest memories of those he held dearly to his heart. Noam, Eddie, and Nina. I mean, sure. He and Noam played with Legos once a week but all they would really have to talk about are the old memories. He just barely kept his sanity intact so that he come back to the one person he knew was waiting for him.
He knew that under normal circumstances that he would never have seen her again and that he would be stuck in the underworld, lucky to have his soul drift as freely as it did. But the hope that he would is what kept him pushing.
But actually seeing her here now....

Lowering the sword he had crafted, Carlos didn't dare let it fall onto the dirty ground and instead let it shrink back into a small lipstick then let it fall into his pocket instead. Seeing Nina make a run for him even while chaos ensued behind him, made his body move by itself. His legs carried him as fast as they could to meet her halfway then held her as tight and close as he could the moment he could. Carlos was never the type to cry and even now still wasn't but his body shuttered as if he was sobbing. And even while he was in disbelief and overcome with a new joy he'd missed for so long, he hated to see tears from her. Even if they were happy ones.

He lightly lifted her face to look her in the eye and ran a soft hand on her cheeks and cleared the water that stained them. He wasn't too sure what to do about the flow that continued to pour down her face. Those soft brown eyes of his over added warmness to that smile of his while he tried to make light of the situation. "So..Nice weather we got going on here huh?" Then that smirk tugged at his lips, as he knew damn well a comment like that for a reunion like this had no place being said. But that was Carlos for you.

Sadly enough, it turned into a small frown at the sight of Alexander losing his absolute shit. And while he'd love to check on the dude he almost considered a brother, he felt as if there wasn't much that he could do at the moment. The big guy with arrows would hopefully take care of it and if they didn't then Carlos would get himself involved. But for now, he'd leave them to their drama and prioritize not dying again or getting Nina killed in the crossfire. "Love and miss you but we gotta go!" Lifting her up by the waist, Carlos simply tossed Nina over his shoulder and headed for the house to take cover. While he ran he was careful to keep his touch delicate so it didn't hurt her or anything but tight enough to where he wouldn't drop her.

Eddie jumped into whatever the magic shit around Carlos and Alexander was. For a long while, everything around him was just... Blank. Nothing.

Then he was laying face up on something surprisingly soft. Grass his brain registered. This place smelled so familiar, something in Eddie's brain knew where he was, but he couldn't quite figure it out.

There was commotion around him, voices and people and what looked to be an arrow shooting past, but it was all white noise. Eddie stared into the endless blue of the sky, the depth of it staggering after so long.

They were getting good at this. If Eddie didn't know better, he'd think he was really out.

This was an odd punishment though, in every way. First, the visit to Persephone, totally off script. It had gotten a little more usual with the inclusion of Alexander and Carlos, but missing out Noam and Nina? Unheard of. Plus, looking around, he didn't know half these people.

Oh, Alexander and Aisling were fighting. Huh. That was new. Was this some kind of ploy to try to make him care? They really were pulling out all the stops for this one. Eddie chuckled as black clouds rolled over. Lighting began to strike. That was going to fucking hurt when it hit him. Oh well, Eddie was feeling too tired to move right now, his arms heavy as he lifted them to fish out his flask.

The sensation was familiar, almost like a limb going dead. The movement of his arms caused a fresh fish of blood to ooze from the slashes across his upper back, and oh, that's where he knew the sensation from. Bleeding out was impossible, even if his wounds were life threatening, which they didn't feel like they were. Just a little drowsiness.

If that was meant to be a part of this punishment, they did a shit job thinking it through. The haze was wonderful, the pain numbed to nothing. The only thing that could make this better was some good ol' alcohol.

Eddie took a swig from his flask, appearing so unbothered by the chaos that was happening around him that one could mistake him for a stargazer. Or, a lighting-gazer in this case? Eddie chuckled. It was a shit joke, barely even qualified as one.

That's when his insides started to burn. Eddie didn't know what had caused that, but it certainly wasn't pleasant. No matter, he'd just block it out, like he always did. His body trembled, for some fucking reason. The heat that curled in his stomach was so much more than the usual weight of drunkenness.

It was getting a little annoying, honestly. Eddie really needed to slip away, but the cracks of thunder booming all around him made that damn near impossible. Eddie wished that these demons or whatever the fuck they were would stop being tryhards and just torture him or something already. Seriously. That noise was grating.

Eddie supposed that could be the point, a new torment schedule packed full of unpleasant sensory experiences perhaps? That would be annoying to say the least.

Eddie didn't know how one went about causing another being to spontaneously feel like their insides were burning, but he honestly had to respect whoever came up with it. It was starting to hurt.

Unfortunately for Aisling, she wasn’t like Nina, she wasn’t that sweet, innocent, soul she once was a year ago. She are into a fighter, a warrior, something she wasn’t a year ago. With her guard down, Alexander got a hit on her. The gust of wind he summoned definitely threw her off-balance, in fact, it sent her back a couple feet, To prevent her from going further, she dug her heels into the ground and slowed the fallback with her hands. She noticed she felt a lot lighter, that when she looked at her back. Her sword, well his sword, was gone. Her head whipped to look over to Alexander, he held the sword in his hands, the sword was back with its rightful owner. But that was bad news for Aisling. That sword was her main weapon, all she had now was her daggers, she would have to make due with them. Checking her boots, she saw she had a few more that she could use. Her plan needed to start coming up with a plan, so she got to thinking.

Seeing Alexander once again, she saw him fly up into the air. She considered flying after him, but she came to the conclusion she couldn’t. He was the son of Zeus, unlike her, he most likely had no limit to how high he could go up. He would be in the clouds now, she needed a way to get up there and get up there fast. Looking up at the sky, she noticed storm clouds starting to form, it would probably be the biggest lightning storm she had seen ever. It was getting darker as the storm clouds got thicker. Luckily for her, seeing in the dark wasn’t all that hard for demigods. Then she heard a bunch of lightning strike the ground, and they were coming fast. Aisling knew she couldn’t just stand there, she would most definitely get hit by all the lightning. Running, she started to dodge them, she still hadn’t thought of a way to get up there. Then it finally hit her, a plan that just might work but it was be maybe the biggest risk she had took in a battle in a long time. ‘Teleportation’ she thought. Sure her levitation had a range of twenty feet, but as far she she knows, her teleportation didn’t have a range whatsoever. Aisling knew he was up in the clouds, so to teleport she just imagined the clouds, she hoped this would work. Quickly grabbing another dagger from her boot, she was about to execute this plan.

As much as she didn’t want to hurt him, it looked like she had no other choice than to do so. Closing her eyes, she imagined the clouds, and next thing you know, she’s up in the clouds, right behind Alexander. She knew that in order not to fall about, what 10000 feet, she needed to hang onto Alexander, and that’s exactly what she did. She wrapped one of her arms tightly around his neck, like she was clinging on for dear life, to tell you the truth she was. She had never really been this high up in the clouds before. You’d think she’d be safe, with her boyfriend, a son of Zeus, but he was ragingly angry, so it wasn’t the most ideal situation. She wasn’t sure if he had even noticed her, but he might soon. With her other hand, she stabbed the dagger right into his right arm. She had a hunch it wouldn’t do anything but she did it anyway. She needed to calm him down, he was putting everyone down there in jeopardy. Using her power, she blinded him. She didn’t know how long she could hold it for, but right now that was the only thing she would do for now. Sure if he lost concentration, they both might go down 10000 feet, but she wasn’t even sure if any of this would affect him.

Nina was feeling so many emotions, she didn’t know what to make of anything. She was a complete mess right now. He was real. He was here, she had no idea how he did it or how it happened but he came back to her. Nina felt his light touch on her face, as he lifted her head to face him. Looking at him honestly made her want to cry even more. Nina leaned into his hand, a shaky smile making its way across her face as she met his gaze. Usually she’d be embarrassed that he even saw her crying to begin with, but this was an exception. For obvious reasons.

Then he opened his mouth and erased any suspicion that he was anyone other than himself. No one could replicate the way he looked at her, and no one else would make a completely random comment like that at a time like this. Nina laughed a little. It was shaky and kind of quiet, but that’s usually how her voice was when she cried.

“I can’t believe it, you came back..!” She smiled a bit wider, speaking half to herself with a tone full of fondness. Nina pressed her hand on top of the hand Carlos used to hold her cheek. Gently holding it against her face as she turned her head to press a light kiss against his palm. Nina wanted to stay like that with him, forget about the numerous responsibilities placed upon her shoulders and actually be able to relish a moment with her beloved. But she should know better.

Out of the corner of her eye, Nina spotted a figure laying in the grass nearby. She paused what she was doing, her eyes widening in recognition of who it was.

That had to be Eddie. At first, Nina was overjoyed. It could be seen in her gaze for a split second before she really got a look at him. His arm was in her view, shaking and bloodied, Nina’s hopeful gaze quickly turned to horror. She was basically dragged through the confusing feelings of getting Eddie back. The relief and fondness he had for the guy who probably understood her the most mixed with the risk of losing him all over again. She couldn’t take that. Not again.

Her eyes rested up again, her eyebrows creasing in worry as her feet felt like they were frozen to the floor. The tenderness of the moment was replaced with sheer panic for her other love. She glanced at Carlos, she doubted that he even knew Eddie was with him. Carlos wouldn’t ignore Eddie, especially when he was in that state. That’s just not the kind of person Carlos was. That conclusion left her with more questions. But questions could be asked later, right now her main priority was making sure Eddie was going to make it. Nina looked back again, half hoping the blood on his arm would disappear and that she was just seeing things.

But he was still there, shaking in the grass. The reality set in that this was real and that she could lose him again. Nina immediately ran towards where Eddie laid on the ground. Nina made a full sprint towards him, falling to her knees next to him. Her mind blanked on what she could do before she noticed what he was drinking, she could recognize the smell of wine. It was easy to put the pieces together for Nina. He just left The Underworld, there was no way he had access to alcohol he had to have made the alcohol in this flask.

Without a word, Nina snatched the flask from Eddie’s grasp. “ You’re not in the underworld anymore, Eddie! You can’t drink this!” She said shakily, tears threatened the corners of her eyes yet again. She’s gonna have a heart attack at this point.

Then Nina remembered the chaos surrounding them. Gods-.. they needed ambrosia and to get Eddie inside as quickly as possible. Nina was trying her very best to not show how bad she was under pressure. “You’re gonna be alright, okay?” She tried to comfort him but to be honest she looked way too nervous and terrified to be comforting to anyone.

Eddie's thoughts were rudely interrupted by Nina appearing next to him. He flinched away, narrowing his eyes at her suspiciously. She grabbed his flask, and anger flashed across Eddie's face for a second. The shake in her voice when she told him he wasn't in the underworld might have fooled him once, but not anymore. She was still talking. Eddie thought it was pretty clear already that he wasn't going to believe her, so why was she still trying.

“You’re gonna be alright, okay?” Nina said. Eddie couldn't help the dark chuckle that bubbled up in his throat. What a fucking joke. Eddie locked eyes with her, expression somewhere between detached and unhinged. The madness of his father glinted in his eyes, cold and amused and furious and numb all at once. There was no recognition in his expression, because this wasn't Nina. It only lasted a moment, before his eyes wondered again, unfocused and drifting, snapping between lightning bolts or staring blankly into the middle distance.

"You really expect me to believe that?" He muttered, still not looking at her. He was as still as he had ever been, but for his eyes. He didn't even fidget, didn't even wince at the loud thunder. It didn't matter.

"So, are we gonna get this over with, or are you going to keep pretending to be her?" Eddie would ask after a few seconds. He wanted his flask back, wanted to drown in that bitter nothingness when his brain finally went fully blank. The sooner this punishment was done, the sooner he could go back to that. He hated when they forced him to be sober. It took barely any time for the alcohol to leave his system. This burning inside him was better than that.

If anyone were to lift Eddie, he wouldn't fight them, wouldn't even really acknowledge that he was being carried. It didn't matter if he fought, he never won anyway. Better to just detach himself. This body barely felt real anymore, anyway. It certainly wasn't his body that he was inhabiting anymore, in any case. That thing died alongside him.

He finally settled into that numbness like it was a well-worn jacket. It felt comfortable, safe. He couldn't really be hurt if he wasn't really there. Everything around him became little more than a movie, something he watched, but didn't participate in. He stopped responding even if he knew words were directed towards him. He couldn't hear the words anyway, only the sound. Eddie's eyes began to droop, the familiar call of unconsciousness beckoning him. Even better - everything was better when he was asleep. Nothing could touch him there, no thoughts, no pain, nothing. A more ideal death than the one he had. Eddie saw no reason not to slip into that state of non-being, the escapism of endless, unknowable nothingness.

Sophie was just chilling around. She got closer and closer to the house but stopped to study and check her surroundings. She was a bit worried, but at the same time, she couldn't identify any threats. Just random people she didn't know. Then someone approached her.

"I'm Franklin," they said. They said they were a child of Anubis, and turned into a dog...?

"Wait, isn't Anubis Egyptian?" She asked, but as she did, a possum they were holding fell from their arms and ran away.

"JAMAL! NO, MY SON!" *Franklin* said, running after the possum. Now Sophie was really confused. They didn't seem like a threat at least.

She decided to continue towards the house, but as she did, Sophie heard a voice. It was loud and full of anger. Then, she noticed two girls running towards something. She noticed three guys that were definitely not there before. She quickly scanned the environment around them. She spotted a crater with something in it, but she was too far to tell what it actually was.

Then her eyes widened. One of those guys just flew straight up in the air, and not too long after, she heard thunder.

"What in Hades?" She had to squint her eyes to see the guy who just flew, that's when she was almost hit by lightning. Lightning struck right near her, and her reflexes kicked in. She was fine, but her ears ringed, and her hair stood up across her body from the blast. She spotted lightning hitting the ground at a rapid pace. She was terrified, but she started running towards the house. It was really the only shelter she could see. As she ran past the porch and into the house, she realized that other people were still out there. She ran back into the porch and took aim. From her mind, all of this started when that guy went flying. She took an arrow and loaded it from her bow and took aim, but she soon realized the guy was too far up to properly aim at. Not to mention it was getting dark because of the storm clouds, so she had an even harder time. The best she could do was go help everyone get inside.

"EVERYONE INSIDE UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET FRIED TODAY," She yelled at the top of her lungs. She was frustrated that she really couldn't help at all. She stared at her bow and arrow in her hand.

Wait... Isn't lightning attracted to stuff like iron? She had an idea. She dumped her quiver on the porch and started separating her arrows. Her mother always has multiple arrows made of different materials. She collected her arrows mainly made of metals and started loading her bow. Her idea is that the arrows would attract the lightning, similar to lightning rods.

She took to look around for good areas and started firing. She aimed for areas where few to no people were and areas which hopefully would allow a direct path for everyone to the house without getting hit by lightning. Eventually, she ran out of arrows. She hoped her idea would work. She started putting her arrows back into her quiver and walked back into the house, waiting...

A Special Guest~

Looking down from the massive height he stood at, Eros lowered his bow when the newest arrivals were finally on their feet as the love god felt almost proud to see it. That even despite the obvious disorientation it caused them, they both still wielded weapons. As for the Dionysus child... As much respect as he had for the boy's father, it didn't take much to convince him that he was beyond the point of fighting as he lay in the grass unmoving, his attempt at sitting up nonexistent. But what else would he expect of a demigod of the greek version of Jesus? That's not even mentioning the broken look the boy sported. The sight made him want to pull Eddie onto his feet himself. But the creature was stirring once more and his bow was aimed right at it again.

Taking aim for a second time, He drew another black arrow and shot at Kampe. This time is arrow never multiplied. It instead grew to be the size of the average man. You'd think he would hit his target? You thought wrong. The sky above him rumbled and very familiar sparks dotted those dusty grey clouds.
"Γαμημένο παιδί, τι κάνεις;!"
Were the first words he thought to say which- If you hadn't known, dear reader, kindly translates to; "Fucking kid, what are you doing?!"

His attention was as split as it could be as he watched the children below bicker, those far up in the sky fight, Kampe regain her senses, and those unfortunate enough to be caught in the crossfire fight for their lives.
All of these observations were made in the blink of an eye as time around him had begun to slow and everything around him had begun to grey, draining of color until the only thing that moved with a splash of color was Psyche whose attention had been shifted to the front entrance of the house. Her eyes shined a bright blue, a slight frown on her face. She turned to face Eros with a hint of worry.
"I do hate to be a bother but it would be of both of our interests for you to hurry Eros."
The god grumbled with a scoff, "Στο διάολο νομίζεις ότι κάνω;"
A dark look set in the goddess' eyes as he cursed at her in greek. That stare often meant that he did something wrong which he indeed had.
Noticing the sign, Eros' hold on his still aimed bow tightened ever so slightly. "I'm on it but these kids are causing more issues than anything." While anyone could argue that Eros was far more powerful than Psyche and technically had no reason to be scared, he never thought about it like that. Sure, as a god he had his moments and that was unavoidable. But for the most part, Eros saw Psyche as the one in charge of their marriage. He only saw it right with how strong she'd proved herself to be both before and during her time as a goddess. So when she reminded him to, Eros made sure to show Psyche her due respect.
Unlike some certain god. {*COUGH* ZEUS *COUGH*}

Soon enough the groups around Eros had begun to speed back up as color returned to the chaotic scene. All at once, he let his arrows go flying but this time the single arrow was fired at the son of Zeus. As he'd been struggling against the rather dainty-looking daughter of Iris, the god could feel the already immense energy that came off the boy grow to a respectable amount. Something told him that it'd take more than his arrows to affect him. So as it flew through the air, the god shot forward to match the speed of the projectile and lightly tapped it at an angle to change its course only slightly.

Coming to a stop, he let the arrow rip through the top of the demigod's shirt. A sharp glare was thrown his way as if it were a clear warning for him to stop making the situation even worse. The next thing he knew, Kampe was heading straight for him but with his height advantage, Eros was able to grab her and kept the demon held tightly in his grip. He hadn't known if the thing needed to breathe to survive but if it did then it was suffocating in his hold.
He couldn't kill it though.
For him to kill another nearly immortal being would be frowned upon and he'd rather not get on Zeus' bad side any more than he already was. So with that thought, he'd contain her until the morons below him stopped fighting each other. Those kids were the only exception to killing things like Kampe if they could survive to do it. But if he needed to, it wouldn't be so hard for him to simply crush her in his palm.
Assuming she didn't try anything. Which of course was a stupid thought. Of course, she'd try something.

While Eros was busy with the literal hell-born beast, Psyche didn't move her stare from the door. Soft and almost unnoticeable steps padded against the wooden floorboards on the second floor. How she did know what floor it was coming from? She could just feel it. Not only that, but she was hyperaware of every small creak and sound the steps made as the footsteps got closer and closer to the first floor. Until they came to a stop.

There in front of the Goddess of Soul, stood three other people.

The first that stood at the base of the stairs was a female who wore elegant flowing gray robes, Greek battle armor, and an Imperial Gold helmet on her head that was decorated with pictures of gryphons and sphinxes. No matter the way you looked at her, the one word that perfectly described her was majestic. With a beautiful, but stern face, unsmiling full lips, stormy grey eyes, and a graceful build, she emanated both power and authority.
Even the stupidest person could tell, that this was the goddess, Athena.

The second was a big hulking middle-aged bearded man. He wore a short sleeveless tunic and a round close-fitting cap on his unkempt red hair. His face was red, lumpy, and covered with welts. In the words of Rick Riordan, it was 'as if he'd been bitten by a million bees, and then got dragged across gravel.' Both of his legs were uneven and were so different that it looked ridiculous to look at them side-by-side. His right leg was muscular and strong while the left was limp and skimpy. There had been a metal brace with screws that looked to cut into the skin of his bad leg and most likely acted as a support so that he could still use it to walk. But even as he went down a stair it was clear he still had a bad limp and when he stood still, the man stood at a funny angle.
This was in fact, Hephaestus.

And finally the third. She was a tall and extremely beautiful woman who was arguably as lovely as Hera herself. She had a well-built body with shoulder-lengthed raven-black hair paired with striking silver-grey eyes much like Athena's. Only lighter in the shade as they also looked to contain the wild spirit that this woman was. While she looked to be about seventeen, younger than any of the children in the field just beyond the house's walls, the girl could still obviously tear your throat out if provoked.
If it wasn't already obvious, this was the goddess Artemis.

These three Olympian's energy combined formed an aura of power that made Eros' look like a minor god. Even as each held calm and tame expressions {all except for the blacksmith god's who had been grunting, grumbling, and cursing.}, their joined frustration was clear in this aura and made Psyche's nose scrunch up in slight distaste.
"You lot are...Quite Early."

While she was set on interacting with the very feminine-looking character some around her knew as 'Franklin' she had still been aware enough to notice the arrival of three other people. But seeing them laying in the grass without a single gust of wind, she couldn't help but feel confused.
"How in Apollo's Graceful Light did they get here?-"
Having gone through the rather thrilling ride herself with North Wind Airlines, she knew what to expect when they dropped a kid off. Especially since she watched it repeat the same method with everyone else.
Except them.
Though they'd been a distance away, she still tried her best to call out to them. "Who the heck are you guys?!"

She sighed at the fact."Valentina."She introduced. As the ground then cracked and out sped out the monster, Val looked on in shock, "WHAT THE FUCK!?" She yelled. She was really scared of what was happening but as she then turned to see an arrow shot at the Kampe soaring over her head, she really couldn't hide her surprise. "Okay, who shot that arrow?" She asked the question said sarcastically. Val was really not liking the fact she was at this place with a FREAKIN MONSTER but she sighed as the little girl with a bow told her to leave. "Yep, I'm leavin' this Friggin area." She took a few steps back from the scene of chaos and ran before she caught sight of Eddie on the ground bleeding half to death. "Holy Crap!" Though she was tempted to help him, she went into the house and tried to find a place to sit and calm down.

"JAMAL! NO, MY SON!"

Val looked around in confusion." What in the hell?" and Then sees an Opossum running around the living and Screaming."WHY THE HELL IS THERE AN OPOSSUM IN THE GOD DAMN HOUSE?"She shouted in Portuguese. Val was not really happy at Seeing A FREAKING opossum in the house, because she was a bit of a fan of marsupials i just that she is literally confused on why is there was one in the living room and it looked like this tone was wild. Val Jumped off of the couch and took her guitar and moved back away from the Opossum. Why couldn't she play her Guitar in peace without Someone or SOMEANIMAL Coming in and interrupting her? Just great her life can't get even weirder for her.

In her kiss I taste Revolution
"Is anyone else dramatically traumatized?" Bea asked while sitting up. The pouch and the tube stayed in her hand, while her beloved Desert Eagles laid next to her. She wasn't sure how a pouch would transport her anywhere, but she wasn't going to question a woman who appeared out of nowhere and managed to force a combined dream on the three of them. Plus, she was their mother, how could Bea not trust her? She looked at the pouch in her hand and then up at the other two. "I don't know about you two, but... I don't really have any time to waste. I can catch up on Matt taking his mom to the lingerie store to help him pick out a sexy gift for his girlfriend later." She said, giving no context whatsoever.

The harley quinn haired girl placed the tube in her cardigan pocket and then grabbed her firearms and walked to her room. She opened her gun safe once more and pulled out her thigh holsters, all the ammo she had, and her cleaning equipment before placing them in a small tote bag. A few more personal items and she called out to her siblings. "If you two don't wanna go, Ill text you and meet up later! See ya!" She said and then opened her window to the roof of the house, and stepped out.

She opened the pouch, and as always she was greeted with the same spiel that I am not writing for a third time damn it, fight me Red, and quickly answered that she was ready to go. One ultra fast Blue-Scadoo-we-can-too and the eldest Triplet was flying through the air. The landing was a bit... bumpy given to all the turbulence of the storm. The wind spirit lost a bit of control of the demigod, but luckily Bea was able to take back a bit of control with her own storm powers. She didn't effect whatever the hell was going on up in the sky, she only managed to control the wind around her and used it to safely land. Maybe 'Safe' was a strong word... Bea didn't get have a full on car wreck without the car as a landing.

"I am so sorry, I do hope that this won't effect your rating for your-" The spirit was cut off when Bea let out a blood curdling scream. "Oh.. Um.. I'll just take my five stars and leave now, thank you!!"

Pain shot through Bea's shoulder, which was mostly due to the freaking arrow sticking out of it. It looked as if the newest addition had just landed in the the shooting range of one talented girl with a bow and arrow. Typically, Bea would say she would love to be abused by someone so majestic and lovely, however without consent it was a little questionable. A very long long line of curse words streamed out of her mouth, dirty enough to make any sailor blush. Bea attempted to break the arrow, only to realize the fucking thing was made of metal and she would just need to leave it there for now. There was a chance it hit her subclavian artery, and bleeding out within her first ten minutes of arriving wasn't very cash money of her.

A bolt of lighting cracked nearby, and Bea rolled out of the way just in time from becoming a walking lightning rod. It was clear that this storm wasn't a regular storm, and Bea's abilities were no match for whatever was at the center of it... But she knew someone who's abilities could turn this around in her favor... she just hoped they didn't chicken out and decide to stay home. "BROOKE?! BEN?!!" She called out and began to look around. Rain hammered down on her, smearing her make up and making her hair stick her like wet tendrils. Beyond the stupid super storm, she saw a few people fighting a damned monster. Now Bea was wondering if it was a mistake to be so blindly trusting of her mother.. But! She had a plan, she just needed the power of 3.

Juliet Leblanc
Under Love's heavy burden I do sink
No body really approached the giant girl, which was for the best probably. She couldn't exactly figure out who was in charge, so she went exploring around the house on her own, looking for any sign of Ophelia. Unfortunately, there were no pink clouds in sight nor was there a small dragon with an appetite for salad. Juliet had at least hoped to find Muir, the dragon that hatched from an egg the sister stole from the cult... Ophelia had cared for that egg like Brock cared for Togepi, and luckily the tiny reptile imprinted on the eldest and saw it as her mother. Ophelia like to tell stories about how since their dad was the king of the gods, it was kind of like they were unofficial princesses... and Dragons and Princesses always went hand in hand. Now, Muir wasn't so tiny and he wasn't so reliant on the ones who hatched and raised him... Still, he never let his mother get too far without him, so once Juliet realized he wasn't there as well she knew there was no way she would ever find Ophelia here.

The shy girl found herself in a room with at least two other Zeus kids, but she kept her responses short and sweet. Today, she would rest and take whatever items the house had to offer that should could carry, and then she would be on her way. She had examined the clothes and found the athletic and training outfits to be of good quality. She quickly disposed of her old clothes and shoved only a few outfits into her bag. There had been a few dresses and things that were beautiful, but she didn't feel as if they were necessary. Juliet never went anywhere that required a dress, and she already had her curtain dress... Best to not ruin this one and let it go to the next person who needed it...

There was a loud boom outside, and Jules rushed to the window to see clouds as dark as night begin to form. Her heart jumped in her chest. "Ophelia?" She asked, remembering the night she and her sister escaped from the cult and how her sister had created a storm so similar to this one. She didn't hesitate to open the window and full jump out of it into the storm. Her own white hair began to form into clouds, and they floated and bounced around her head to absorbed the electricity in the hair around her. She became a sort of walking glow bug from the static in her cloud hair. Joy filled her as she walked to the center of the storm, but then all at once it came crashing down. Ophelia's lighting was always pink, and this.. this wasn't her sister. Grief and frustration hit her at once and she fell to her knees. The rain mixed with her tears and Juliet cursed herself for being such a stupid idiot. She should have known better than to get her hopes caught up!

Something caught her eye that made her pity party stop in its tracks. Was that... the MCU's very own Chris Evans? Aka the best Chris? No arguments taken? And just what the hell was he shooting arrows at? Had Juliet just completely lost her mind and fallen into a weird Captain America becomes the new Hawkeye Alternate reality? She quickly looked down to make sure she didn't accidentally become Storm in the process... no.. No she was still in her Dress made out of ugly curtains. The lightning bug bounced back from her heartbreak and quickly ran over to whom she hadn't yet realized was the God of Love and lightly shuffled her feet. "Um! Sir! ... If I help kill this thing, will you take a selfie with me?" She asked... Clearly with her priorities in the RIGHT order. To show she wouldn't be useless, Juliet reached her hand out and a bolt of lightning cracked before reaching her palm. She flicked it out and created a while made of lightning and began to attack the beast.

Parker

Parker was in the house. walking around and basically exploring. He sat down on the floor somewhere inside the house and started writing what he knows and remembers about the house. Again he was un bothered, just the sounds of his breathing, his pencil, and his heart beat.
Sure there were shaking and screaming but i didnt bother him, I mean there was a dagger thrown a few minutes ago so they'll be fine.
He drew a map of the house and the layout. I mean he has never been here, so its good to know where somethings are.
He knew chaos was happening so he didnt bother to go out.

"Wonder what's happening outside, eh dont care"

Alexander Hendrix

Son of Zeus

The storm was growing, as its clouds circled over Alexander's head. Alexander was feeding the storm, fueling it with his feelings. Lightning started to get more intense, its blinding light flashed across the sky. Alexander finally noticed a weight on his back and saw Aisling trying to stab him in his right arm. This did nothing, of course, the Curse of Achilles was like an invisible second skin that protected him completely. Well, almost completely...

Alexander tried getting Aisling off of his back, but then she blinded him. His emotions died for a moment and confusion kicked in when he was blinded. But soon enough, it didn't last, as his emotions flooded in again. But his loss of sight and momentary confusion saw the output of his power diminish, the expanding storm shrunk. Without his sight, he couldn't focus properly. Then, he felt something rip across his chest. He wasn't sure what it was, but it again felt him in a confused state. Alexander started to question his punishment, after all, why would Hades let him have his powers? And then he realized something important... He hadn't felt any physical pain since Styx. If he was truly still in the Underworld, shouldn't he be in massive pain? He was mentally, but physically, he was fine. He found that... strange. Punishments in the Underworld usually enhance pain, not make you invincible to it.

And why would Hades allow him to bathe in the Styx? Much less summon a ginormous storm. His anger faded, as confusion rolled in. He wasn't sure if he was alive or dead anymore. Did he even exist anymore? Existential dread filled him quickly, as the storm raged on.

In his moment of dread, he remembered that Aisling was still on his back. He was still blinded, so he struggled to get her off. As he struggled to get her off, he felt something. Heat. Body heat from Aisling. He stopped for a moment. During everything he'd experienced so far, that was one thing he hadn't felt since his death. It was something a demon or illusion couldn't replicate. A demon, depending on what you're dealing with, is usually hot or cold when touched. An illusion doesn't give off anything, it's an illusion after all. He also noticed she was getting nauseous by her breathing and face. Wait, her face? He could see again! He placed his sword on his belt.

Every time she attacked him, she became more tired. Alex guessed because he could see again, she was likely drained. After a few minutes, Alexander knocked her off of his back, but he quickly caught her in his arms. He looked her in her eyes, her eyes were a mixture of red and purple. At this point, he didn't care anymore. He didn't care if he was dead or not, for his entire life, everything, everyone he'd ever loved had been ripped away from him. Even if she was a demon or some monster, he didn't care anymore.

"I'm sorry Aisling," his voice cracked and his eyes watered, "I'm so fucking sorry."

She kept trying to calm him down, and she felt it was working, the clouds started to shrink. But she made a mistake, she looked down. Only then had she realised just how high she was, 10,000 feet in the air looked much more intimidating when you weren't in a plane. The red in her eyes stared to turn a purple but it didn't change color completely, it was a mix of the two colors. She was pretty sure that Alexander was real at this point, no imitation of a son of Zeus could produce a storm this size and danger. But she was scared, she was scared of falling. Sure she had flown before but never, ever this high. She had always thought about it though, how high Alexander could go, I guess she got her answer, well a rough estimate at least. She didn't let her fear show however, she kept at it. But gods was she getting tired, she had just teleported 10,000 feet, the rise in altitude was immediate, she started to feel lightheaded and nauseous, this wasn't good. She was reaching her limit, she needed him to calm down now, she just wanted him back to her again. She picked her eyes up from the fall she was scared to go down and focused on Alexander, who was starting to fight back.

She struggled to keep him still, to calm him down, that's when she got what she feared most, falling. Alexander shoved her off of him. Her eyes weld up with tears, she was too overwhelmed to even think of a plan to save herself. She wanted to scream, but she couldn't, she didn't have a voice, she never had one. She was falling quite quickly, she closed her eyes, tears streaming down her face. 'This is how I go I suppose.' She thought as she braced for impact. The wind around her made her feel cold, goosebumps raised on her exposed skin. She braced herself for impact, but she felt a different kind of impact. Strong arms caught her, body heat radiated and made her feel warm, she felt that familiar aura she loved so much. She opened her eyes and saw Alexander with tear welling up in his eyes. She heard his voice for the first time since she appeared in the yard. It cracked as she apologised to her. All she wanted to do was say it was okay, but she couldn't and didn't want to. To her, actions spoke louder than words. She wrapped her arms around his neck and and kissed him softly. She pulled away and hugged him tightly, resting her head in the crook of his neck, letting her tears flow onto it. This isn't what exactly came to mind when Alexander would first take her to the skys, but it was what it was.

Carlos Blake

Son Of Hepheastus

He almost died.
Right then and there, Carlos nearly fell into pieces at the soft affection Nina showed and the moment replayed in his head as he ran until he realized...
He wasn't even holding her anymore.
Carlos almost cursed as he spun around to find Nina running over to a figure lying in the grass. He couldn't tell exactly why she felt the need to go back into the field in the midst of all the things happening around them but he made his attempt to catch up to her. The closer he got though, the more he then knew then able to understand her reason for escape. "Eddie when the hell did you get here?!" He sported a proud smile as he looked down on the boy. Of course, it didn't last long.

Watching how despondent and vague he was being, Carlos grew only slightly worried. While he'd love to blow the whole thing off and just think that Eddie just wasn't haven't having a totally cash-money day, Nina looked to be bordering on something close to a heartattack. Maybe it was the blood? Either way, he had to do something. But what could Carlos do if he didn't know the real issue? All he saw was a broken Eddie who made the big guy's heart crack to watch.
Before long, another round of arrows was fired by the god and then some from a few new faces. He'd loved to get a close look at them but he was too busy picking both Nina and Eddie up.

Thanks to his still very much strong build, he was able to easily carry one on each shoulder. But these were still two grown people he was carrying. Made it hard to move as quickly while he was constantly worried about the kid he could guess belonged to Apollo kept firing arrows like a maniac. In reality, he saw the strategy to what she was doing but if she happened to slip up on her aim by even an angle or timing my a second, she could get herself and others hurt.

Carlos wanted to help her. He wanted to shove the other two in the house and head back into the action. Yeah, that's a little stupid for sure but that's the kind of person he was. If it wasn't clear already, Carlos didn't like waiting things out. He liked to do something and put forth the effort into the things he wanted to be done.
If Selena had still been there, she'd definitely advise certain people to fall back. One of those people probably being Carlos himself.
So even though he hated to do it, he went straight into the house and ran straight for the living room. On his way past though....
Something familiar began to call to him in the Foyer.....
He'd figure that out later!
Carlos laid Eddie on the couch and put Nina onto her feet, his eyes scanned the other as she shook his head. What in the hell happened to Eddie?

nine lives

Nina Simone Rivera

Nina swallowed the urge to immediately break down into tears when Eddie looked at her. She wanted to be relieved, upon closer inspection, the blood on his arms were caused by shallow wounds, they wouldn’t threaten his life. But that didn’t solve the alcohol issue. And that especially didn’t solve his demeanor towards her. Which arguably had her shaken up the most. He looked at her like she was no one. Like he didn’t even recognize her as his girlfriend. Like she was some sort of irritating gnat buzzing in his ear. Was he angry with her? Did she do something wrong? She had to. There were certainly plenty of reasons he should be angry with her. Nina was just about to apologize for whatever she thought she had done before Eddie actually spoke.

"You really expect me to believe that?"

The only sound that could leave her mouth at that moment before he continued was a brief. “Huh?-“

"So, are we gonna get this over with, or are you going to keep pretending to be her?"

Nina tried to look at him but his gaze never met hers, not fully. Even when he was looking at her she felt like he was looking through her. Nina never thought someone would look at her like that again, she wasn’t someone you could just look through! Not anymore. And especially not by him. Nina’s hands balled up into fists against the grass, her lip quivered and her mind raced.

Nina’s mind came to two conclusions. Either, he realized that she had changed while he was gone. He realized that the ditzy facade she used to play was just that- a facade. But she didn’t even use it that much around him after they got together. Not purposefully.

Her other guess, which was more likely in her mind, was that he was angry with her because she wasn’t able to save him. He died right in front of her and she was too useless to do anything to stop it. That had to be it. Which meant that he was right to hate her, but she was more powerful now. She didn’t have many offensive abilities, and she wasn’t very powerful or useful compared to other demigods at their full potential, or even at half their potential. But she could do.. more- now? Could she?

Nina pressed her lips together as she tried not to cry. She was trying so hard not to hold back her tears that it was giving her a headache. Nina searched his expression for any sort of explanation, but he just looked so detached and broken. It deepened her own anxiety about this whole situation. She wanted to hold him and reassure him that she wanted to be there for him, but that wasn’t going to work. As a matter a fact, him rejecting her again would only make her feel even worse.

Nina felt herself be picked up and snapped her head towards who it was. Relaxing a bit when Carlos grabbed the both of them. Nina normally would have asked to run with him, to not be a burden. But she was a bit shaken up at the moment. She noticed Eddie laying on Carlos’ other shoulder, unconscious. Nina lowered her gaze back to the ground as they made a run for the house.

Once they were inside. Carlos sat them both down. Nina gave a hesitant glance to Eddie as he laid on the couch, her expression seemed solemn. She wasn’t able to keep still, she kept constantly fiddling with her finger, a pretty tell-tale sign of her nervousness or distress. She quickly glanced at Carlos before realizing that she still needed to solve the poison issue. She perked up with panic and hurried towards the kitchen to make some ambrosia and hope for the best. Nina forced herself to not pay attention to anything else except for getting Eddie what he needed.

Nina quickly finished making her ambrosia and rushed back to the living room, wincing at the sight of Eddie’s unconscious form. It almost reminded her of- No! She wasn’t going to let him die again. Even if he hated her, she’d do everything in her power to keep him alive. She wasn’t going to lose him again. Nina sat on her knees next to the couch and carefully held Eddie’s head, she attempted to feed him the ambrosia. Which was honestly going pretty well paired with the fact that she’s never fed an unconscious person before and that her hands were shaking. Good job Nina.

Eddie woke up from his brief unconsciousness to the sweet taste of ambrosia in his mouth. He swallowed, before closing his mouth, not allowing Nina to feed him any more. His eyes danced hazily around the room, to Nina, to Carlos, around the familiar interior of the Violet Refuge. There were some kids he didn't know in here as well. He sat up, much quicker than would be expected of someone who'd just almost died. At least his arms weren't shaking anymore. Eddie sat in silence for long moments, hands braced against the couch on either side of his legs. He sighed, heavily, realising these demons posing as his past lovers probably weren't going to initiate whatever this punishment was, were going to try to force him into interaction. Whatever. Neither was Eddie.

He looked up at Nina, his eyes still glinting with that thinly veiled madness beneath the apathy. "Could I have my flask back?" he asked. If Nina refused (and of course she would refuse, give some cheap excuse about the alcohol harming him, yeah right) or just didn't give him the response he wanted, he would stand up. "Whatever."

Eddie left the room, legs almost buckling at one point. He steadied himself on a wall, leaving behind a smear of blood as he pushed himself off it. He thought of going back outside, but no, there was nothing interesting there, plus the likelihood of getting hit by lightning seemed significantly higher, and even if he wasn't too fussed about a little pain, electricity wasn't exactly pleasant. Instead, he intended to head past the foyer, and towards the stairs. On his way past, he saw four figures in the doorway. Why were there so many gods here? Especially Olympians, they were well known for their overall dislike of the Underworld. Eddie paused. This was... unusual, to say the least. It wasn't real, of course not, but any other time it had been like this, it hadn't included the typical elements he associated with the usual shtick the demons liked; that is to say, his friends. Eddie decided to stick around here, rather than run off. It would be somewhat interesting, if nothing else. Besides, if it did turn painful, it's not like he'd be given the option to escape, anyway.

If any of the gods turned around, Eddie would nod calmly to them. "Psyche, Athena, Hephaestus, Artemis." He acknowledged, with little apparent care for their status. He looked out the door to see the storm dying down. Some other kids he'd never seen were out there, along with Alexander, Aisling, and Eros. The god looked to Eddie like an idealised version of himself; more masculine, with the ability to grow a full beard, and a typical cis male body. There was some demon out there too; and Eddie wondered if there were some internal struggles in the demon workplace that he wasn't privy to, which made them all act so violent towards each other this particular day or night.

Eddie stood to the side of the doorway, once again staring into nothing, despite being interested enough to stay in the foyer, he wasn't invested in any of this; only an observer. He really felt no emotional pull to any of this; if Kampe won, it won. If Eros won, he won. If Aisling fell to her death, she did; if Alexander caught her, he did. None of it mattered either way, but the movement around him was nice white noise for him to think about nothing to.

Destiny (As far as you know)

Middle Finger

Now...You may be expecting this biiiig post about maybe what Destiny was doing. What she was thinking. Who she had her eyes on. Exctera. But I'm telling you now to.
FORGET IT.
Looking around and seeing the idiots of the group gathering by the porch to share information about themselves to people who hadn't even told them their purpose or job or whatever business was to be in charge, had made her feel a strong mix of confusion and an even bigger mix of irritated.
Like Seriously! Was just no one suspicious of the two girls whom they had NEVER been informed of walking out the house as if they owned the damn place?! Those expressions they both held as if they were gonna shank a child in the streets didn't help either. It made Destiny want to turn her black ass right back around and go the hell back home. But something told her that she was too far in now to change her mind.
It made her growl. And boy was she happy not to have anyone around her when she did- But then again what would it matter if she did? If she was lucky enough, they might have thought she had rabies or some shit and taken her back home.

Imani was way ahead of her by now and she thought;
"WOW! I hate this place, but I'd rather GROWL about it like a FERAL DOG with my cousin!"
Ya know. Cause she was a big family person like that.

Moving her walk into a bit of a jog, she made it to catch up to the girl. The very second she did she could see a dying flame in the very corner of her vision. It didn't involve her of course so she didn't turn to look t it. The last thing she wanted was to be involved in anything these strangers were cooking up.

While a fight of all kinds happened outside, Destiny spent the time laying in a nice lounge she'd somehow found on the second floor sipping a caprisun juice she'd also found in the kitchen. While she lazed around, she softly hummed to herself while mentally counting each time she heard the rough crackle of thunder or saw the light blinding flash of lightning pass outside the window.
Man, this place was actually relaxing.

WAIT-

She slowly pulled the straw of her drink away from her lips and stretched out a long groan. Destiny had lost Imani even though she had followed her in.
"Oh goddamn it!"
Standing from the soft and comfortable couch she sat in, Destiny walked out of the lounge while mumbling.
"Here we fucking go again.."

Call me Peachie Call me Peachie (Torta) Mirai-chan Mirai-chan (Val)
She let go of her.
Nina left Aliviyah's side to run across the field for something she couldn't even see with all the other kids around the place. No- Wait- It wasn't because of the people- The field was more open than it once was. There were black silhouettes dotting her eyes like people-shaped shadows. Taking a few steps back, she shook her head and blinked her eyes hard to get rid of them. Still not being able to see where she was though, Aliviyah ended up banging her head directly on the frame of the door. She lightly winced as the sensation lasted only a moment before it went numb.

Completely unaware of the blood that dripped down her face, she opted to try and cook herself since the black spots were gone.
Until they weren't.
While she had begun to wash her hands, the figures began to form in her vision once more. Only this time they took it over completely until she was staring at black nothingness. Right when she had begun to adjust to the nothingness, an arch of fire lit her vision then fell onto the ground until it was clear the source had been a jumbo-sized torch that burnt green.
Around her, she now stood in a brilliant white, gleaming place, and judging by its look....Aliviyah guessed it to be a throne room- Only with more than one or two thrones. There were twelve in total with five of them being crossed out with what looked like red marker ink.

Her attention was then taken by a dude screaming bloody murder. Couldn't tell you what he looked like because he had been wearing full greek armor and helmet. In any context, the guy was nearly indistinguishable from any other armed warrior Aliviyah had seen in the past. The absolute bloodlust that radiated off him though...It was overwhelming.

"...And you could have avoided this all if you'd listened to me in the start father!" The man then began before gesturing over to....Her?
"These disgusting things being no better than the scum below!" Aliviyah hadn't noticed him before, but as he waved his hand and slowly stood from one of the largest thrones in the room, she swallowed hard.
She also hadn't noticed the five figures that quickly sprung up and surround the backside of her like a solid wall. And while she would love to believe that they were going to hurt her, all their dangerous glares were on the apparent king of it all.

Aliviyah dared to look back and saw a younger girl with silvery wild eyes, and an even brighter bow in her hands with two arrows knocked in its string. She had no time to think about it. The name simple popped into her head. Artemis.
The next was an absolutely beautiful woman who looked to be at least two years older than herself. She had been dressed elegantly and wore jewelry so breath-taking and eye-catching that they probably cost more than the entire country of the US. Her eyelashes were curved and she had a constant smile on her beautiful face. But it was those red eyes that gave away her anger. Aphrodite.
Then there was a dude who held the same wild look Artemis did. Only less tamed. As if he'd been ready to tick for a time already and was reaching his limit. He had long, golden hair that looked to be the same color as the sun. How she could compare it to the sun? She stared at it a lot during the sunrise and sunset, wondering if one day she'd see her father in the sky. She never did. This man was tall and had plenty of muscles. Even though he could be taken as being fairly calm in the current time, he had a ticking temper, just like his father. Zeus. This was Apollo. And he was armed just like his sister, ready to shoot.
Directly behind Aliviyah, stood a kind of energy that she had wanted so bad to name, but the person must have known as they slowly knelt with their eyes on Zeus the entire time. They whispered lowly into the girl's ear.

"Stay still and listen, child."
A name then once again popped into her head, identifying the person for her. Athena.

Even as they all seemed ready to fight for Aliviyah, none of them did anything as the king of kings approached. Knowing Alexander couldn't prepare her to meet his dad. That cold and bold look in his eyes held power and slow-boiling anger. Behind him, Ares approached and it only caused anger in Aliviyah herself to rise to the surface.
As those feelings flew through her, however, he felt the calm hand of Apollo rest on her shoulder. He wanted her to stay calm. She briefly closed her eyes and took in a deep breath. And by the time she opened them again, the sharp edge of a spear had been aimed at her. The moment it hit her skin, the vision faded and she found herself back in the kitchen by the sink, the water in it overflowing.

"I'm so sorry, my daughter...."

She hadn't known how long it had been but looking out the window, a lot of shit had gone down. Aisling wasn't looking too hot and Alexander hadn't either. The rest of the group-
hOlD uP-
Her eyes widened when seeing the supposedly dead Alexander holding Aisling. She didn't comment. Didn't bat an eye to it.
She still had no tacos.
So the best thing she could do for herself is-

Aliviyah had a moment of remembrance and perked up before running out of the kitchen, not bothering to turn the water off as she bolted into the hallway only to meet another little group in the Foyer. She didn't care about anyone else right now.
They could start throwing rats at her and Aliviyah wouldn't notice. Coming to a sliding stop, Aliviyah nearly hit the wall only stopping just before she came into contact with it.

"You!" She pointed at the curly-haired peep she'd seen outside, her expression nearly unreadable. It was hard to tell if she was gonna tell them a really funny joke or beat them over the head with a rock. "You look like a vibe, I need a favor!"

TL;DR Screams at Val, Climbs over Carlos, Finds Jamal, Sasses Gods, Talks to Aliviyah
tl;dr
Beni 'Torta' Dela Rosa
The older you get, the better you get... Unless you're a banana
If you were the type to assume that Torta didn't have a serious bone in their tiny body, then you were dead wrong. Beni had been in fights, caused trouble, fought off a few monsters, protected their family... But they learned early on that having a good attitude was easier than going through life being a downer. That said, Torta knew when to get serious, and they didn't shove down their feelings and aimlessly hope for the best. They dealt with their emotions, called their therapist, smoked a bit of weed, and adjusted themselves... Like now, Torta was adjusting themselves to not panic that their precious baby had run off to hide from the stupid storm outside.

As the sandwich ran around the house, everyone else seemed to completely disregard the sandwich's cries, making them feel like a background character in a really bad movie, or ran off towards other screaming outside... which, yeah... They would have done too if they had secured Jamal's safety. A cute worm tail ran through the living room, and Torta was leaping through before they nearly collided with a girl who was screaming like the angelic trash goblin was the demon outside and not a harmless marsupial. "Your screaming is scaring him more, YOU MOLDY OLD BOOT!!" the sandwich said, and then tried to get past the people nursing a very bloody human to health. "GRAH!! Stand still you LAMP!" they cursed (?) before using a tall Fabio-Chris Hemsworth love child as their personal bridge to get out of the ruckus.

Torta entered the foyer and paused when they saw 3 gods. McBloody from before was wobbling in like Jack Sparrow on the black pearl, and Torta stood perplexed at the sudden influx of actual adults. "Did anyone see- JAMAL!" They cried out happily seeing the possum scampering up the leg of the rough and tired looking guy. "you leave the peepaw alone, he doesn't want you!" they said, and quickly grabbed up the furry beast and held him close. "Thank you so much, I really owe you one. I was actually starting to wonder if I had gained a new power of invisibility and stuff, ya know? This guys knows what I'm talking about. Anyways, Hi! I'm Torta- I MEAN... My name is Amanda. I'm a child of Hela. yes, we are very happy with how cate blanchett portrayed her in Thor Ragnarok, I'm a little sad that I don't get my own giant zombie wolf puppy, but hey... Beggars can't be choosers, amirite theydies? Eh? Eh? ... Naw I'm kidding. I'm Beni. Child of Dionysus... Something tells me you all already knew that..." They said to the rest of the people, sans McBloody who wasn't paying attention and radiated apathy.

One of the girls from the original welcome group practically somersaulted out of the kitchen and called everyone's favorite sandwich out directly. This is the part where Beni recreates a meme and Peach holds back from a very dirty joke that has to do with the word vibe. They looked around, and then pointed back at themselves before reinstating their boundary. "I wasn't kidding about the Buck Seventy-Five per Taco... If that's what this is about." Beni then stuck out their hip and placed Jamal on it, much like the tired and overwhelmed parent they were.

Sophie was starting to get a bit paranoid. She paced back and forth, debating her options. She looked outside every once in a while and noticed the storm outside was weakening. She didn't really know what to do now, her plan with her arrows seemed to be working. She saw everyone was in different parts of the house and figured to explore the house.

She walked around the house, seeing the others. She wasn't really sure what to think about them, not to mention she wasn't sure how to start a conversation with any of them. She just sighed and continued exploring. And that's when she felt it, an aura of power. She never felt such a powerful force before. She peeked around the corner, and her eyes widened. For a moment, she stopped breathing. She saw the three gods on the stairs, but she immediately recognized one of them. Artemis. How could she not? Her mother used to tell her all about the goddess.

Then her heart dropped. Her mother. She forgot what happened. Her mother must be panicking, she probably thinks that Sophie is died or is being tortured. Wait- is Artemis here because of her mother? How would the goddess feel about Sophie? Would she hate her because her mother was kicked out of the Hunters? A million questions like this flowed into Sophie's mind. She never thought she would ever meet Artemis in a million years, but here she is, right there.

She took a deep breath and calmed down a bit. She looked at the other two. Judging by the deformed one, he's probably Hephaestus. Hephaestus was a god she could respect. Unlike most of the other male gods, Hephaestus hasn't really cheated, raped, etc. Ironically, he's married to Aphrodite, the literal goddess of love, but they hate each other. Probably doesn't help that Aphrodite cheats on Hephaestus all the time. She looked at the third one for a few minutes. She finally figured out that she was Athena. Again, a goddess Sophie could respect, a maidan goddess as well, just like Artemis.

She took another deep breath and entered the area the three gods were standing in. She was shaking a bit, but she forced her fears down. She performed a quick bow towards them and laid her bow on her right side.

"H-hello there, I am Sophie, daughter of Apollo," she tried putting on her best face, "I am humbled to see three gods before me. But, if I may ask, why are you here?" She was curious, she guessed it might be because of the giant thunderstorm outside, but why would this three specifically be sent to stop it? Couldn't Zeus quickly put an end to it?
