In this world is all manner of danger. From wild animals, desperate travellers, monsters of all shape and size. But none are as terrifying as a demon. All the terrible features of a monster squished into the shape of a man...
They say a demon devours the soul of their victim so they can wear the body as a disguise...
That a demon will offer tempting deals, having the power to grant any desire for a price...
Them demon folk hide within the living, biding time just waiting, building strength...
There is alot of things said about the demons, some exaggerated but most based in truth.
Demons are all about the world to be honest, they've been slipping into our realm from theirs accidentally for hundreds of years now. What's actually scary is the ones that plan to and succeed in entering our existence.
The demons are a dangerous threat to all living beings, but they are not invincible nor immortal.
Demons can die, just like you or me... Demons can be killed, preferably by you or me...
See there is two kinds of people in this world.
Those born marked with a birth sign, a shape that displays your magic.
And regular normal folk unable to wield any form of magic.
Those marks are important, but not necessary to kill a demon. That said though the majority of Holy hunters in this world are born with a mark of some kind. Many spend years training with a weapon and learning to use their magic as best as possible only to die before claiming the title of "Holy hunter" gods champions against the wicked.
What's worse then a dead hunter however is a corrupted one. When a demon makes a deal one can't refuse... But let's not get bogged down in shit, we could drown.
this rp is about killing demons of all kind.
Weak ones, strong ones, demon beasts, demon monters, whole ass devils,
Demons that wanna help you or eat you or wear your body like a flesh mech and live among the townsfolk to buy bread off the unsuspecting baker...
A bunch of holy hunters are sent by order of the King to deal with a so called "demonic cult"
As a holy hunter rookie or not it is your duty to slay shit and its how you make money so you head off...
Ask questions here or in a pm. Hoping for about four or six players who can write more than a paragraph once or twice a week. Not to spoil the story but the characters would be associates or pushed into a team after surviving the coming shitshow.
