A Brief History Lesson and Timeline of the Continent of Zeldwa.

(May the reader take note that this compendium is not a dependable source for historical events in either T'Odis or Parshum. Please refer to "The Wild World of Parshum" by Victor Cradance & "Don't Freeze Out There: Learning about T'Odis" by Lance Portsman respectively.)

Compiled by Kildran Historian, Valuz Habier

Before Written History

Long before there was any written history, men were nothing but instinct driven, nomadic tribes. Coming from the forests, mountains, and deserts; they traveled throughout Zeldwa, following game as it migrated. With nothing more then grunts as a language, they clashed and fought when encountering each other. The stronger tribe, of course, always survived these skirmishes and increased their chances of survival by adding to their food supply. It did not take them long to realize they did not have to slaughter the entire opposing tribe, but they could keep the women to increase their pack.

It was during these hundreds, possibly thousands, of years that many scholars believe that the original T'Odis people were exiled from the various tribes of Zeldwa, to the Northern icy landscape, possibly due to their physical differences from the tribes that would become known as the Kildrans. This idea is supported by ancient T'Odis text that speaks of a "Separation from those not of the Ice" known to be hundred of years older than Kildran written word.

Two tribes emerged as much more dominant than the rest and began to build permanent homes and draw boundary lines as to where they claimed their land. The lighter skinned Kildran tribe settled the Northeastern plains of Zeldwa while the darker skinned Nomasdae settled in the Southwestern rain forests and the Southern deserts as well. A rough form of speech was beginning to form inside each tribe at this time and communication became a weapon to them. Not only were they stronger, but they were more intelligent. Nomadic tribes tried time and time again to invade in search for food only to be repelled, killed, and have their women stolen. The first hulking mass of a leader to the Kildrans emerged, unifying them against outside attacks. The tribesman called him Onta the Large.

Onta told his people that he was visited by the heavenly Voice of Azae in his dreams. He explained the voice said he was the Spirit of Azae, that all people were his children, and directed him to teach his people to worship the planet and all life on it. Daily prayer became a part of life. Onta taught our ancestors how to farm the land which was, in turn, taught to him by the visions. Onta is known as the First Prophet, and this marks the beginning of the Religion of Azae. Azaes laws were carved into a side of a mountain in ancient Kildran hieroglyphs. It should be noted that there is some evidence that around this time a Nomasdae man, believed to be named Hajunt, spoke of a similar vision to his tribe from a God he referred to as "the Birther". Not much is known to scholars about the Birther as most Nomasdae records were destroyed in the Kildran-Nomasdae Tribe War. All that can be confirmed was that mythology stated he was the father to the Nomasdae's other Gods.

The tribe expanded over the decades, and their language flourished. Villages popped up all over Zeldwa, and the Kildrans continued to push back the nomads into the forests. Decades passed as their population and intelligence grew, and more farmland was needed. Onta's descendants continued to lead the people. As a show of gratitude, the family was put up in the largest hut in the largest village.

When Onta's great grandson, Zalur the Mass, came into rule he declared that the uncivilized nomads were heretics and thus not true children of Azae. He ordered that any nomadic woman encountered in the forests by hunters be brought back to do manual labor and farm-work. These prisoners were kept in cages at Zalur's hut and are known as the first slaves. It should be remembered that these first slaves showed no physical differences in race to our Kildran ancestors.

Iron was soon discovered, and with that came the invention of steel weapons. Already accustomed to slaves, the hunters of the tribe would venture out into the forests collecting their less intelligent cousins. Armed head-to-toe, the barely clad nomads didn't stand a chance against the Kildran hunters. This time, men too were brought back to do more strenuous labor. The hunters would bring the slaves from village to village trading animals and crops for them. They were mistreated, branded, and were taught only some words. This is known as the start of Kildra's infamous slave-trade.

With most physical work out of their hands, the Kildran people spent the next few decades furthering their minds. It was around this time that scribes came about, putting words to paper, constructing a uniformed alphabet out of the archaic pictographs they had.

This was also the time that a distant descendant of Zalur the Mass, Amollus, declared himself King of the Kildran people. The family had done a perfectly fine job of leading the people through these care free times, so of course, no protest came. He chose the surname "Adrian" meaning "Leader" in ancient Kildran and created the tradition of family names. The nation of Kildra was established, and to commemorate the event, Amollus Hildren had a stone castle built by slaves where his hut used to stand. The village of Kein was now the capital.

Amollus gathered the greatest warriors in Kein and made them his personal guard. Currency in the form of gold coins were forged from the veins found in the caves along the coast and given out throughout the country. He hired scribes to begin to keep a record of history (to Amollus it was just meant to be a record of his legacy) and the day of his ascension to the throne became the new year. This marked the beginning of year 1, and the beginning of what would come to be known as the Kildran Period.

The Kildran Period

Year 1

King Amollus Adrian organizes the slave trade. Hunters become slave-catchers. Nation's amount of slaves doubles. People praise the king for making life easy.

Year 16

One of the many wives of King Amollus gives birth to son, Vezra. Amollus declares son's birthday to be holiday and for there to be a festival held every year called "Vezra Day." A feast is prepared and Azae hymns are sang by the women of the village.

Year 19

Population is booming, and many villages continue to spread. Many forests are taken down to make room and supply wood for the new villages.

Year 20

Small skirmishes within villages leading to murders forces King Amollus to dispense guards to police every village. Amollus sets up the first documented laws accompnay the religious laws already put in place by the Religion of Azae, called the "Amollus Laws".

Eye for an eye...

Limb for a limb...

Cow for a cow...

Daughter for a daughter...

What you take, you shall give.

This is law.

Year 40

After having daughter after daughter, Amollus suddenly dies at an unknown age. First son, Vezra, is named his successor at age twenty-six.

Year 52

Scholars begin to develop newer language from the current one. This language, as it develops more, is to become the Kildran Common Words.

Year 62

With the population continuing to grow at an alarming rate, villages become crowded. A noble and peasant class begins to form in the major villages as many families rise to wealth with the slave-trade. King Vezra sends out slave-catchers to explore further South in the unexplored lands. They return months later with the discovery of the Zeldwa desert and tales of dark skinned men moving through the sands. More forests are torn down as Vezra orders the construction of new villages and expands the Kildran territory further South to the outskirts of the desert.

Year 70

First organized attempt at sea travel. Primitive ship is built and a crew is sent out. Not heard from for months. Pieces of the ship wash up on shore. No immediate second attempts are planned.

Year 77

First village construction deep within the desert is attempted. The Kildrans make first documented contact with the Nomasdae tribe when Nomasdae raiders come across their construction sites and destroy them. Vezra orders large group of heavily armed hunters to explore the desert. Only a small severely injured group return. They inform the King of the Nomasdae tribe, an equally advanced society with superior warriors. The men could not understand the Nomasdae language, but it was clear they did not want the Kildrans to settle any villages within the desert and to respect what was to be known as the first border between nations. Although little is known about the Nomasdae tribe at this point in history, King Vezra paints a picture of a godless and murderous society to his people.

Year 80

Nomads appear to be running extinct. Few are found, and not often. Current slaves start running off to try to blend into other villages. To continue their life of prosperity, King Vezra lifts the restrictions on slave breeding. Slaves born from slaves. They now must wear permanent heavy metal bracelets to show their status as slaves. Farmers plan on breeding strong ones to help in the fields.

Year 84

King Vezra dies of an illness, son Vendel is named his successor at age thirty-two.

Year 92

Villages continue to grow and great construction of cities begins all over the newly made plains of Kildra. Warriors make a name for themselves hunting the Tral-el (believed to be smaller than their modern day descendants) that are discovered in the taken down forests.

Year 104

Man by the name of Couswa Serda claims to recall past life, and journey through the planet's life-force to become current state. Declares himself to be the Second Prophet of Azae. Also happens to be childhood friends with current king, Vendel. Convinces the King to approve the construction of the immense first Church of Azae at the capital. Couswa organizes the religion worshiping Azae and the beauty that is life. He names himself head priest of the church. King Vendel, a non-believer like his father before him, converts and the religion spreads rapidly through the nobles of Kildra. Couswa claims that when one dies their life-force returns to the planet and meshes with the planets life-force only to be recycled as a new being, thus making us all one collective conscious. States slaves do not have a life-force.

Year 124

With overcrowding in cities becoming a major issue, Vendel issues the "Vendel Decree" that the first born male of every family must be sent to the capital at the age of sixteen for military training. This marks the creation of the Kildran Royal Army. Noblemen become captains, sergeants, and generals.

Year 125

King Vendel dies of old age, son Tarim is named successor at fourty-three. Tarim Adrian is known to much more ruthless than his ancestors. Word quickly spreads that a march on the desert is planned.

Year 135

After a decade of preparation Tarim marches towards the desert with his massive army. The first Nomasdae villages they come across deep within the desert are instantly razed to the ground. This is known as the first battle of the Kildran-Nomasdae War. The males are slaughtered almost entirely and all women and children are sent back to Kildra to become slaves. These are the first Nomasdae Slaves.

The advancing army is met by the Nomasdae's defending forces and a bloody battle ensues. Tarim prevails with his overwhelming force and continues his march to what he believes to be their capital in the heart of the Zeldwa desert.

The soldiers nickname Nomasdae's capital, "The Fortress" because of the high stone walls surrounding the city. The Nomasdae prove again to be fierce warriors, repelling Tarim's army for over a year.

Year 136

This year marks the victory of the Kildran-Nomasdae War. After losing the majority of his army, the Nomasdae eventually succumb to King Tarim's relentless onslaught. The women and children were quickly rounded up, as was custom by this time. The first Nomasdae slaves, mostly women, that made it back to Kildra had proved to be even stronger than full grown male nomad slaves and quickly became a sought after commodity for the rich who owned farms.

Their warriors fought so bravely that it left a deep impression on the King's army and became a popular story to secretly pass around. So much so that the King made it punishable by death if caught reciting or listening to the story.

King Tarim made the controversial order to burn all evidence of Nomasdae culture instead of allowing his scholars to peer over their works and learn their language, although many inventions were found and saved within "The Fortress", such as the printing press, the crossbow, the telescope, and the hourglass.

It is due to King Tarim's hatred and brash decisions that we know little of the Nomasdae to this day. Almost all art and literature were burned. Temples that appeared to be similar to the Azae churches in Kildra were desecrated and brought to a rubble. Shallow mass graves were dug for the Nomasdae bodies and quickly built upon.

Year 139

Desert cities are constructed all along the river now known as the Vendel River and on top of the former Nomasdae cities and even graves.

Year 145

The Nomasdae soon outnumber the amount of nomad slaves in Kildra. Many noble families go as far as releasing their Kildran cousins from slavery when acquiring the more valuable Nomasdae slaves. Many former slaves blend into peasant society.

The first fictional Kildran literature is written and published as most written work up until this point has been religious scripture.

Year 168

King Tarim dies in his sleep at the age of seventy-six. Son refuses crown, King's much younger brother, Azor steps up to the throne at age of fourty.

Year 173

Hunters exploring in the Northern Ice Mountains come back with tales of giant Ice Tral-el and people with the skin and hair of snow watching them from the distance. This is the first recorded evidence of the T'Odis people.

Year 181

A large farming village does not send it's shipment from the east coast of Zeldwa. Guards sent to investigate discover village burnt to the ground. It was determined to be a slave uprising. A few days later the slaves were found, hiding in nearby forests. They were captured and hung in Kein square. First reported act of slave rebellion.

Year 189

Nautical technology has advanced somewhat in the past century. Another attempt is made with a much larger ship. Crew bids farewell on a months long planned trip to explore the ocean.

Year 191

Ship returns with only half of crew. Crew speaks of everlasting darkness and miles long serpents that reside in the dark waters. Ships are restricted to only traveling the coastlines.

The young Lady Varie of the Vanson family speaks out publicly against the Slave-trade and what she views as the terrible mistreatment of the Nomasdae people. She finds a comrade in Ser Calin Roadalia, a young second cousin to the King and captain in the Royal Army. Ser Calin pleads with the King to hold a court discussion with the noble families over the matter of slavery. The King agrees but says it will not be held until next year.

Year 192

King Azor gathers the noble families to the capital of Kein to discuss the issue of slavery. Lady Varie and Ser Calin are depressed to learn they are in the great minority amongst the nobles when it comes to their views of race equality. The general of the Kildran Royal Army, Lord Elber Yensir, makes the grave mistake of insulting Lady Varie during the discussion. Ser Calin challenges him in the middle of the court and cuts him down in front of all the nobles. King Azor calls for both of their heads.

With the help of Calin's close friends in the royal guard, he and Lady Varie are able to escape. They flee to the Northeastern city of Kanzar. The guards who are discovered to have helped them escape are put to death by Azor.

Varie, Calin, and their respected families, along with a few other like-minded nobles proceed to go into hiding along with their freed slaves. With their pooled wealth and resources they are able to build a small yet formidable army of mostly skilled mercenaries.

King Azor appoints Gex Drun as the new General of the Kildran Royal Army, also know as Gex the Decapitator. All is quiet for several years.

Year 196

Ser Calin comes out of hiding and claims the entire Northeast corner of Zeldwa as under his rule. This marks the beginning of the First Kildran Civil War. He declares himself King of what he names New Kildra. To no one's surprise, he takes Lady Alvira as his Queen. They wed in a church of Azae in Kanzar. Upon hearing this news, King Azor demands their excommunication from head priest, Kain Bendict. Cain refuses, stating it is not up to church to choose sides in time of war.

An infuriated Azor cuts all ties with the church and has Kain Bendict put to death. He outlaws the worship of Azae throughout Kildra and destroys every church within his borders except for the one at the capital. The Kildran people begin to believe their King has gone made.

King Calin soon abolishes slavery within New Kildra. Many nobles who disagree with their new rulers flee with their slaves to Azor's Kildra.

General Gex marches the royal army to meet with King Calin at the border city of Bridge's Pass. The young leader proves himself to be a skilled tactician on the battlefield and scores many early wins against Kildra. He is able to push Gex's troops back as well as the border, gaining land. Villages located on the border become barren war zones with charred out smoking buildings.

Year 198

After two years of fighting a stalemate is reached. Calin has gained much territory including parts of the Southern desert. Kildra has been sending most of it's resources to the war effort and is heading into a state of poverty and depression. Crime is steadily on the rise as bandit groups begin to appear all over.

Queen Varie gives birth to a daughter named Cornelia.

The tide appears to briefly turn in favor for General Gex when a soldier fatally wounds King Calin in battle. The victory is short lived however, when Queen Varie immediately takes up her late husband's role and proves herself to be an even greater strategist in war than him.

Battle after battle she manages to outmaneuver and out think Gex's forces. She renames her queendom, Roadalia, after her family name. She fortifies the border between the two countries and continues to score win after win putting Kildra's death toll much higher than that of Roadalia's.

Frustrated with his lack of victory, King Azor has Gex brought back to Kein and put to death. Just days after the execution, King Azor is found dead in his sleeping chambers. It is rumored that his own wife poisoned him to end his tyrannical reign. His son, Amollus II takes the throne at age thirty-three. Seeing the horrible state both his people and the Roadalians are in, he soon puts an end to the war, and grants Roadalia it's sovereignty. Queen Varie praises King Amollus II for his declaration of peace. What is left of the Kildran Royal Army returns back to the capital. The two nations rebuild.

Modern Times

Year 200

With slavery abolished within Roadalia, Queen Alvira has several refugee camps set up for the newly freed Nomasdae to help them integrate into society. This proves to be quite a difficult task at first because of many Roadalians still believing in a superiority over the Nomasdae, and most Nomasdae viewing the Roadalians as being no different than the Kildrans. Many Nomasdae are the victims of persecution and sometimes murder. Despite Varie's promise of Roadalia not having a class system, the Nomasdae soon fill out the poorer class of Roadalia, taking the lesser jobs.

Varie allows women to enlist in Roadalia's army. She has a group of young ladies trained by Valius Thorn, a highly skilled mercenary in her army, as her personal guard. To make a statement to her people, three of the twelve women chosen are Nomasdae.

Tral-el are no longer found in the plains Kildra, hunted to extinction in that area, now only exisitng in the mountains of T'Odis and the Jungles and deserts of Libertia.

Year 202

King Amollus II gathers much of Kildra's slave population to hallow out Zalur's Mountain in the far North and to start construction on a grand city within the mountain. Many of the peasant class are also able to find work on the project. This greatly boosts Kildra's economy and helps pull them from the poverty they had entered during the war.

Amollus II also claims all unclaimed desert lands South of Roadalia. He lifts the ban on the worship of Azae much to the people's delight and approves reconstruction of several major churches.

Explorers discover the "T'Odis Gate" in the Ice Mountains. They are turned away with the pale skinned people's strange language.

Roadalia soon becomes a mecca for art, literature, and music as Queen Varie becomes a huge fan of plays. Peace continues.

Year 208

King Amollus II sends scholars and knights to the "T'Odis Gate' to try to establish contact and trade. Not much is known about what happened, but most of the knights are slain and the scholars all sent back safely with. The surviving knights speak of the Ice People's intense precision in swordsmanship. Amollus II declares that all Kildrans are to steer clear of the Ice Mountains. This is known as the "T'Odis-Kildran Incident".

Year 217

Kildran noble, Matheu Barnard, reports his slave, Zacci, has run away. King Amollus II dies of an apparent heart attack. Youngest son, Drazel, is named successor in Amollus II's will at age twenty-one. Construction on the mountain city of Zalur continues. Many slaves and peasant workers die during a cave in.

Year 220

Slave is accused of pushing her owner out a 3rd story window. She was hung in Kein square the next week.

A small secret group of Roadalians, both of Kildran and Nomasdae descent, form to help slaves in Kildra escape over the border into Roadalia. They call themselves, "The Allies of Freedom". Helping a slave escape in Kildra is punishable by death.

Year 222

The slave formerly known as Zacci appears in the Kildran capital of Kein. He now refers to himself as Indorian, an old Nomasdae word for "Freedom". He spouts a quick speech about removing their shackles and rising up.

"They murdered our ancestors, raped our women, and erased our culture. How long do we serve without question? How long do we stand for this oppression when we are no different?... How long do we remain cowards?"

The speech was brief and short. Guards chase him down, only to have him completely disappear in a crowd.

Year 225

Construction on the mountain city of Zalur is finally finished. It becomes a wonder for people all over Zeldwa to visit.

Indorian shows up in one of the largest slave populated cities, Groten. Slaves rise up and attack their owners and the towns guards. When Kildran reinforcements show up, the slaves are no where to be found. They retreat south into the unsettled parts of the desert.

Coincidentally, perhaps spurred by the words of Indoria's speech, slave uprisings start in many large farming villages. Some are more successful than others, but any slaves who survive flee straight for the desert to join with their comrades.

Drazel was not about to humor this. He had invited many slave owners to bring their slaves to watch as he had several slaves brought to the capital to be hung. They started with the children first, to make the parents watch. This was to show what would happen to them if rebellion continued. Quiet remained for some time.

Year 228

Several cities on the outskirts of the Kein capital are suddenly overrun by masked, skilled warriors. They show no remorse, killing man, woman, and child. At the end of the day-long massacre, the group left just a few survivors. The leader pulled off his mask and identified himself as the slave rebel leader, Indoria. He stated the killing would continue until his people were freed. The group, with the newly freed slaves, disappeared back into the desert once more. This point in history is considered the beginning of the Second Kildran Civil War also known as the Kildran Slave Revolution.

King Drazel organized his troops and sent his general, Lord Ed Vicewin, into the South Western part of the desert that they thought the slave rebels were occupying and where they had lost contact with many cities. That's when they showed up as if out of no where. They were quoted as coming, "from the sands". The Kildrans could not handle their guerrilla style of warfare. They were being picked off one by one. No troops, including General Vicewin, returned home.

Drazel was embarrassed, but knew the slaves were still low in number. He waited and put troops all along what was now becoming the border, but heard nothing further.

Year 231

King Drazel Adrian sends more troops, month after month, to the border to prepare for attack. Outposts and temporary walls are erected. The decade remains quiet for the most part. The remaining slaves still in Kildra are kept guard and watched closely. Drazel is beginning to wonder if they had all died out there in the Southern deserts. Then the day came. A mass of charging, masked men attack in full force the guard stations that run along the border. This was the most bloody battle the Zeldwa continent had ever seen. It lasts for months with the death toll easily reaching the thousands.

Year 233

The slave army attacks numerous major cities within the outskirts of Kildra leaving no Kildrans alive and even going as far as to put the heads of many Kildran nobles on spikes. They leave messages in the cities they destroy, asking for the freedom of all Nomasdae and the abolition of slavery.

Year 236

The fighting has persisted the past few years. The rebels liberating some villages one day, increasing their numbers, and being pushed back into the desert the next. The former slaves show the same combat prowess their Nomasdae ancestors showed a hundred years before. Neither side seemed to be winning.

King Drazel dies after a hunting accident. His young son of only seventeen, Gillian II, takes the throne.

Year 237

King Gillian II tries to follow in his father's footsteps and continue to defend from the ever attacking slaves led by the fierce warrior Indoria, but soon realizes it is all in vain. He, himself, kept no slaves and realized times were changing. A meeting was arranged with the now aged Indoria. A truce was bartered over the agreement to free all slaves and abolish slavery throughout the kingdom much to the dismay of the noble class, and to relinquish the Southern half of the continent to the slaves to set up their own nation.

The Nation of Libertia is created. A council of 6 are elected by the people of Libertia to rule them. Indoria is elected to to be the head of the council, while the major cities elect the other council members.

Queen Varie names her daughter Cornelia as her successor on her deathbed. Cornelia takes the throne at age thirty. Cornelia's first act as Queen is to declare Roadalia forever a queendom, where only women can rule. Race relations improve within Roadalia's populace.

Year 241

Indoria passes away in Libertia. Elections for a new Council Leader are prepared. T'Odis scholars help Kildrans translate their language. A trade route opens between Kildra and T'Odis as the T'Odis Gate opens for merchant travel.

Year 242

Kildra focuses on rebuilding its economy. King Gillian II looks forward to the future and advancing his people. Many parts of Kildra, especially near the border have been stricken with poverty because of the war.

Religion falls out of favor to many noble and lower class people in Kildra. Many people would rather focus on their lives and the immediate future then think of the wonders of the world.

Representatives from T'Odis come down from the T'Odis Gate to the capitol of Kein to make peace and negotiate trade options. Strangely, they speak the Kildran Common Words fluently.

Construction on the first port city, Ocean's Wake, in Kildra begins.

Queen Cornelia of Roadalia continues her nation's support of the Nomasdae people by sending supplies and a message of goodwill to Libertia. Many Nomasdae are able to reach statuses of wealth within Roadalia.

With Indoria's death, Libertia prepared for it's second election. This splits the nation into two political parties, the "Soovs" or ancient Nomasdae for "Rebuild", and the "Lindors" or ancient Nomasdae for "Valor".

Year 243

The Soov, Elian Bander, is elected the new Council Leader. His first act is to send several diplomats to Kildra to negotiate access to the trade routes that run along the Vendel River. Trade is also opened with Roadalia.

Several bandit gangs gain infamy and rising names in the strict lands of T'Odis, where breaking laws is severely punishable. Kildran scholars learn of the nation of Parshum and the Parshumian people from T'Odis scholars.

Year 246

Port city of Ocean's Wake is finished on the Northeast coast of Kildra. Many Kildrans travel there for the promise of new jobs and excitement of discovering the sea. Building of ships begins.

Both Kildra and Libertia begin plans to rebuild cities destroyed from the war, and build several new cities.

T'Odis's crime problems continue to steadily increase. Emperor K'Umla continues to crack down and send soldiers after all criminals

Year 249

Many ships make their first voyage in the first month. Many set out to just map the coastline while others plan to go much farther to explore. Claims are made that the old stories of serpents to be just tales to scare them as children.

In Libertian and Kildran city-construction continues without flaw. Many Lindors begin campaigning on and spreading the idea of closing their borders and isolating from other races. The first surviving ancient Nomasdae ruin is discovered in the Swazi Rain Forest.

No word from any ships that left Oceans Wake, not even the ones that only planned to ride the coastline. Ocean's Wake becomes a dreary place

Year 251

One ship returns to Ocean's Wake in Kildra. The crew comes back with detailed drawings of beasts, tiny islands, and maps. Crew becomes famous and rich, but all claim to never go out to sea again calling it "worse than death". The rest of Kildra continues to advance as fictional literature spreads. Prominent writers become famous for their works.

Two notorious bandits, P'Arzo Zwepp & Goor, separately rise and unite several small bandit clans in T'Odis; coincidentally almost at the same time and on either sides of the country to create the "Ice Wolves" and the "Bloodletters". They each begin pillaging villages throughout T'Odis. Emperor K'Umla. dispatches the T'Odis military to put an end to their raids. This marks the beginning of the "Outlaw War" for T'Odis.

In Kildra, Ocean's Wake's population dwindles. King has monument built for those lost at sea. Sea travel becomes a daredevil sport.

Year 254

Kildra begins to pull itself from the poverty it was in during the war. Cities and villages expand.

Roadalians rediscover religion as citizen's interest in the Religion of Azae expands.

P'Arzo Swepp falls in combat against the T'Odis army. His second-in-command, V'Alar Muu takes lead of the Ice Wolves. It appears they are communicating and cooirdinating attacks with the Bloodletters.

Year 262

Queen Cornelia Roadalia dies at the age of fifty-five. She names one of her personal guard, a Nomasdae woman named Karen Bendict as her successor. Queen Karen Bendict turns out to be a devout follower of a new sect of the Religion of Azae (The way of the Mother) and makes the worship and practice of the religion law. Any literature, music, or plays that even slightly questioned the existence of the Spirit of Azae are banned and destroyed. The atmosphere of Roadalia starts to change.

Mixed race relationships begin to appear around Roadalia, but are frowned upon at first.

Queen Karen appoints her own head priest to the church of Azae, ignoring Ben Yoseg, the Kildran head priest. She chooses a Nomasdae woman named Claire Sha, daughter of the founder the Way of the Mother, for the position. She changes the name of her personal guard to the Holy Knights of Azae.

Many artists and writers move from the now narrow-minded Roadalia to the now flourishing Libertia. Libertia becomes the hub for many scientific discoveries and is now thought of as a place of learning. Several schools on different subjects are built. The discovery of intact scriptures on the ancient Nomasdae Warrior God, Anahit are anaylyzed by scholars to translate.

The Outlaw War rages on in T'Odis. The further the cities from the capitol, the worse the fighting is. Emperor K'Umla T'Odis dies at the end of the year. His son, Menis becomes Emperor at fifty-five and continues to try to quel the bandits.

Year 269

King Gillian II dies at age fifty with no heirs (there were rumors of his sexuality). Two Noble families try to claim the throne to Kildra, Lord Unger "The Sun Sword" Hildren, and Lord Burton " The Axe" Mandril . Their two houses met at the capital to discuss the future of Kildra only for them to break out into bloody combat. This marks the beginning of the "War of Arms" or the Third Kildran Civil War. Noble families flock to either side and each raises an army. War breaks out once again in the capitol of Kein.

New Elaborate and grand churches are beginning to be built throughout Roadalia

Arts continue to flourish in Libertia while creativity gets stifled in Roadalia in the name of religion. Plays become huge in Libertia as actors & actresses gain fame. Many scientists come to Libertia from all over to study the jungle forests and Tral-el. Tensions rise during heated debates between the Lindors and Soovs. Writings on Anahit spread through the nation.

Year 270

The Hildren and Mandril forces meet yet again at Zalur Mountain. This is known as the "Battle for Mount Zalur". Thousands die in the conflict. The Hildren forces pull a narrow win. Current High Priest of Azae, Soris Palan, pleads for a peaceful resolution. This falls on deaf ears as the Hildren and Mandalin forces meet again at the ghost-port city of Ocean's Wake. Burton Mandril's forces pull a staggering revenge win, slaughtering Hildren soldiers on the field.

Queen Gayana of Roadalia makes the strange demand that construction of large walls on the nation's border begins. She also repeals many acts she implemented that freed religious prisoners.

Libertian Council Leader Zelsi Wintso finally succumbs to illness at the age of eighty. Many in the nation, Soov and Defender alike, mourn for their long-time leader. Elections are prepared.

Year 364

The War of Royalty continues as Syler scores many victories against Prince Unger II throughout Kildra. The war effort takes it's toll on the common populace as the Queen is forced to raise taxes. Unger's forces raid trade caravans in the outskirts of Kildra.

Elections arrive in Libertia, as many Soov and Defenders campaign all over the nation. One candidate stands out among the rest. The mysterious Soov, Edward Dweae, moves to the forefront of the race as he caters to both sides, and takes a moderate but firm stance on many issues in Libertia. He wins by a landslide.

Queen Gayana of Roadalia becomes withdrawn. Local healers and clergy are brought in to treat her of an unknown affliction.

Year 365

The last battle of the War of Royalty is fought. The Black Talons defeat Prince Unger II in the "Battle of Bore's Den". The city is burned down in the mayhem. Prince Unger II disappears and is presumed deceased. Queen Suzane honors the many mercenary troops who fought for her power and grants them nobility status, but in a strange turn of events, members of the Black Talons are accused of attacking the Queen. They are hunted and executed in the streets of Kein. Only Syler Hazule and his "Child of Death" Ziek Sidane escape. Large bounties are placed on them by the various noble houses who sided with the Queen.

Queen Suzane promises peace will return to the nation. Many Nomasdae who fought in her name demand nobility status.

Queen Gayana of Roadalia orders mass arrests with her Holy Knights of Azae. Citizens are arrested for religious infractions of various degrees, some minor. The Queen makes numerous, jittery and confusing speeches to the people of the capitol. She again becomes withdrawn.

Year 367

Kildra begins to rebuild cities destroyed from battles. Noble families who sided with Prince Unger II are given the chance to swear fealty to the throne. Most bend the knee, but some refuse and are stripped of their titles and lands.

Libertian Council Leader Edward Dweae orders a strengthening of the Libertian Defense Forces and a cracking down on crime. Libertian construction companies begin tearing down more rain-forests to expand cities.

King Ergle Corgoso of Indoria initiates yearly military tournaments to keep his troops sharp and well-trained.

Year 369

Present Day

Queen Suzane appoints several prominent and wealthy Nomasdae families, as well as those who fought in her name, as noble families. This angers many older Kildran houses. She appoints Chancellor Virin to handle daily duties of the crown.

Construction on the Roadalian wall finishes. The dungeons of each city fill up as the Queen demands more imprisonings of those who try to flee the country. Even the most religious devout of communities are found on trial. The last few months have been especially brutal with a sudden change in Queen Gayana's confidence and wrath.

Indoria's economy has grown immensely. Mercenary companies sell their swords all over Zeldwa for large profits. Whenever a government official or military general goes missing, the Cult of Krakou is still blamed.

Two tribes emerged as much more dominating than the rest and began to build permanent homes and draw boundary lines as to where they claimed their land. Not only were they stronger, but also they were more intelligent. Nomadic tribes tried time and time again to invade in search for food only to be repelled, killed, and have their women stolen. The first hulking mass of a leader to the Kildrans emerged, unifying them against outside attacks. The tribesman called him "Onta the Large".

Onta told his people that the "Heavenly Voice of Azae" visited him in his dreams. He explained the voice said he was the Spirit of Azae, that all people were his children, and directed him to teach his people to worship the planet and all life on it. Daily prayer became a part of life. Onta taught our ancestors how to farm the land, which was in turn, taught to him by the visions. Onta is known as the First Prophet, and this marks the beginning of the Religion of Azae. Azae’s laws were carved into a side of a mountain in ancient Kildran hieroglyphs. It should be noted that there is some evidence that around this time a Nomasdae man, believed to be named Hajunt, spoke of a similar vision to his tribe from a God he referred to as "the Birther". Scholars do not know much about the Birther, as most Nomasdae records were destroyed in the Kildran-Nomasdae War. All that can be confirmed was that mythology stated he was the father to the Nomasdae's other Gods.

The tribe expanded over the decades, and their language flourished. Villages popped up all over Northeast Zeldwa, and the Kildrans continued to push back the nomads into the forests. Decades passed as their population and intelligence grew, and more farmland was needed. Music and instruments were invented for tribal customs and ceremonies.

The hunters would bring the slaves from village to village, trading animals and crops for them. They were mistreated, branded, and were taught only some words. This is known as the start of Kildra's infamous slave trade.

Currencies in the form of gold coins were forged from the veins found in the caves along the coast and given out throughout the country.

Year 5
Villages continue to grow and great construction of cities begins all over the newly made plains of Kildra. Warriors make a name for themselves hunting the Tral-el (believed to be smaller than their modern day descendants) that are discovered in the taken down forests.

Year 10
The Iornias build Iorn.

Year 11
The Gilgrends build Gilgrend

Year 14
The Mandrils build Mandria.

Year 16
One of the many wives of King Amollus gives birth to son, Vezra. Amollus declares son's born-day to be holiday and for there to be a festival held every year called "Vezra Day." A feast is prepared and Azae hymns are sung by the women of the village.

The Lorrises build Lorriston.

Year 19
Population is booming, and many villages continue to spread. Many forests are taken down to make room and supply wood for the new villages and cities.

Year 20
The Small skirmishes that occur within villages leading to murders forces King Amollus to dispense guards to police every village. Amollus sets up the first documented laws accompany the religious laws already put in place by the Religion of Azae, called the "Amollus Laws".

Eye for an eye...
Limb for a limb...
Cow for a cow...
Daughter for a daughter...
What you take, you shall give.
This is law.

The Morgans build Morgantown.

Year 21
An unknown people arrive on the shores of Kildra in rudimentary ships. They are later identified as the Talichani people. They raid small farming villages near the beaches, while shouting in a strange language. They are fierce warriors who easily slay the village guards. This is known as the beginning of the “First Talichani Invasion” Word gets back to King Amollus by raven as he sends out the nation’s troops to meet the invaders.

The battle is known as “The Battle of War Cries” due to the Talichani people’s penchant for shouting chants, cries, and songs during battle. They are ultimately defeated and the few surviving soldiers are made high priced slaves.

Year 22
Many of the Talichani slaves that were taken and sold commit what seems to be a form of ritualistic suicide when given the first chance. Stories of these strange people spread through the Kingdom.

The Bergens build Bergen.

Year 23
The Hictors build Riresburg.

Year 27
The Tullywoths build Groten.

Year 34
The Ozryns build Ozryn.

Year 40
After having daughter after daughter, Amollus suddenly dies at an unknown age. First son, Vezra, is named his successor at age twenty-four.

Year 42
Scholars begin to develop newer language from the current one. This language, as it develops more, is to become the Kildran Common Words.

Year 45
The Lenents build Lenent.

Year 50
The Nevarrons build Nevos.

Year 55
The Hildrens build Hildveel.

Year 62
With the population continuing to grow at an alarming rate, villages and cities become crowded. A noble and peasant class begins to form in the major villages as many families rise to wealth with the slave trade.

Year 63
The Tarins build Tarin.

Year 64
The Roadalias build Ashah.

Year 65
Organized nomads with primitive melee weapons attack cities on the outskirts of Kildra. A nomad calling himself Vaelor, ancient Kildran for “strength”, leads them and declares himself “King of the Nomads”. They burn Morgantown to the ground in the “Burning of Morgantown”, killing all of the Morgan family in the process. King Vezra sends the Royal Army to back the neighboring cities and their armies. This becomes known as the start of the “Nomad War”.

Year 66
The Tullywoth, Tarin, and Ozryn forces meet the Nomad army at the ruins of Morgantown. The nomads fight wildly and without direction but their numbers are near overwhelming. The Kildrans lose the first few battles. They face a huge loss at what is now known as the “Battle of Bergen” where they are pushed back even further and lose even more land and knights. Despite their losses, a brave knight scores a large amount of kills on the battlefield. He is the future General of the Kildran Royal Army, Terriel Tarin.

The Lorristons, Mandrils, and Lenents arrive with reinforcements and help the Kildran Army push back the nomad invaders. The Kildrans receive their first victories in the Nomad War.

Year 67
The nomads send a messenger to the Kildran base camp at the recaptured Bergen. They state, in ancient Kildran, that they wish for land to settle and start their own nation.

King Vezra ignores their demands and rallies the remaining noble houses and their soldiers and marches on the remaining nomad fighters. The great warrior, Jorgan Ozryn, slays Vaelor in combat. By the year’s end, after several victories over the nomads, they are brought down to just a few hundred and the remaining are captured and sold into slavery.

Year 69
The Marshwalks build Marshwalk (Par Quan).

The Taggarts build Little Town.

Year 70
First organized attempt at sea travel is attempted. Primitive ship is built and a crew is sent out. They are not heard from for months. Pieces of the ship wash up on shore. No immediate second attempts are planned.

The Lucerians build Lucerian (Pomeran).

The Vansons build Leer.

Year 74
Two noble families, The Marshwalks and the Lenents, believe King Vezra mishandled the Nomad War. They come together to amass a large army of devoted knights to try and over throw the monarchy in what is now known as “The Marsh-Lenent Rebellion”. Other noble families flock to their cause as they sweep through the nation scoring many victories against the loyal nobles and their troops. King Vezra sends the Royal Army, led by General Terriel Tarin, to meet them on the battlefield.

Year 75
Several bloody battles ensue during the year as many villages are destroyed. The Kildran Royal Army scores huge and devastating victories against the rebels in the southern forests General Terriel grew up in. He becomes known as the “Forest Knight”.

The remaining rebel forces surrender to face their punishment, as all leading nobles are stripped of titles and lands. Many are publicly executed. The Maegan’s become the Lords of Marshwalk while the Holmstrom’s become the Lords of Lenent.

King Vezra becomes known as Vezra the Avenger.

Year 77
The Kanzars build Kanzar.

Year 78
First village construction deep within the desert is attempted. The Kildrans make first documented contact with the Nomasdae tribe when Nomasdae raiders come across their building sites and destroy them. Vezra orders large group of heavily armed hunters to explore the desert. Only a small, severely injured group return. They inform the King of the Nomasdae tribes, an equally advanced society with superior warriors.

The men could not understand the Nomasdae language, but it was clear they did not want the Kildrans to settle any villages within the desert and to respect what was to be known as the first border between nations. Although little is known about the Nomasdae tribes at this point in history, King Vezra paints a picture of a godless and murderous society to his people.

Year 80
Nomads appear to be running extinct.

Year 84
King Vezra dies of an illness at age sixty-eight. His son, Vendel, is named his successor at age thirty-eight.

Year 86
King Vendel, like his ancestors takes many wives. But stories of his lustfulness and wandering eye spread through the kingdom. His visits of the major cities and their ruling noble families are always surrounded by controversial gossip as he eyes the Lord’s wives.

Lanna Hictor, wife of Lord Urlus Hictor of Riresburg, is known for being the most obviously flirtatious with the King during his visits.

Crime begins to become an issue in Kildra. Poor criminals become more organized and begin to form what will become known as “Bandit Clans”.

The Wards build Boar’s Den.

Year 91
Lanna Hictor gives birth to a son she names Ven. The naming alone causes great controversy throughout Riresburg and the rest of Kildra. Lord Urlus Hictor has been ill for the past couple of years.

Rebuilding of cities destroyed from past wars commences.

Year 104
Man by the name of Couswa Serda claims to recall past life, and journey through the planet's life-force to become current state. He declares himself to be the Second Prophet of Azae. Also happens to be childhood friends with current king, Vendel. Convinces the King to approve the construction of the immense first Church of Azae at the capital of Kein.

Couswa organizes the religion worshiping Azae and the beauty that is life. King Vendel, a Non-Believer like his father before him, converts and the religion re-spreads rapidly through the nobles of Kildra. Couswa claims that when one dies their life-force returns to the planet and meshes with the planets life-force only to be recycled as a new being, thus making us all one collective conscious. States slaves do not have a life-force.

Year 105
Couswa Verdel becomes the first High Priest of the Church of Azae.

Year 107
With overcrowding in cities becoming a major issue, Vendel issues the "Vendel Decree" that the first-born male of every family must be sent to the capital at the age of fifteen for military training. They must serve the Kildran Royal Army for eight years. Noblemen become captains, sergeants, and generals. Lanna Hictor sends her son, Ven Hictor, to the capital.

Year 112
Ven Hictor rises through the ranks of the Royal Army to become Lieutenant General to General Azrius Ozryn. He is beloved by his soldiers. His striking resemblance to the ailing King is constant hot topic of conversation amongst the noble class in the capital.

Year 120
King Vendel dies of old age at the age of seventy-six, his first son Sarim is named successor at forty-three. Sarim Adrian, who spent much of his youth as an ill boy, is known to be much more ruthless than his ancestors. He removes Ven Hictor of his position as Lieutenant General, and exiles the known bastard back to Riresburg. General Azrius protests, but is shot down.

Year 123
Lord Urlus Hictor dies in his sleep. Ven Hictor becomes Lord of Riresburg.

Year 124
King Sarim raises taxes throughout the country, demanding the rich give twice as much. He lowers the age of the Vendel Decree to eleven. Small boys are taken from their families in major cities and villages and brought to the capital for military training. Small villages fall into deep poverty and the poor begin to starve.

King Sarim becomes known as "Sarim the Cruel".

Year 126
Lanna Hictor and Ven Hictor announce him as the bastard son of King Vendel and a possible alternative heir. Lanna Hictor states that regardless of Ven’s conception out of wedlock, he still holds the blood of an Adrian in his veins. She also says that he would be a better ruler than “Sarim The Cruel”. Many noble houses agree and side with the “Bastard Heir”. The Pomerans, The Ozryns, The Wards, The Taggarts, and The Maegans side with the Hictors and the Bastard Heir and help him build a tremendous army that King Sarim declares the “Bastard’s Traitor Army”.

High Priest of Azae, Couswa Verdel declares the bastard to have no claim on the throne due to his conception out of wedlock. He states the God of Azae does not recognize his claim.

This marks the beginning of what is now known as “The Hictor Bastard Rebellion”. King Sarim orders the rest of the noble houses to the capital to march on Riresburg.

Ven Hictor becomes known as Ven the Bastard Heir. He begins to refer to himself as Ven Adrian.

Year 127
“The March on Riresburg” begins at the start of the New Year. The Royal Army meets The Bastard’s Traitor army a hundred miles outside of Riresburg in a gruesome and hard fought battle. The Traitor army achieves victory and is able to push Sarim’s army back to Mandria and then even further into the ruins of Morgantown. Casualties are in the tens of thousands.

Year 128
Ven Adrian and his General, Azrius Ozryn score another towering upset against King Sarim and his new General, Harold Gilgrend in the “Battle of the Morgantown Ruins” Despite the Royal Army’s loss, Harold Gilgrend proves to be a monstrous warrior on the battlefield.

The Royal Army starts to have a comeback, pulling small victories and regaining villages by the end of the year. The houses that have pledged to Ven Adrian name him King Ven.

Year 129
The Maegans send reinforcements from the jungles of Marshwalk to the Traitor army, as do the Lucerians from Lucerian. The reinforcements and Traitor Army attempt a pincer maneuver on the Royal Army, but General Harold is able to pull his troops out of the way just in time. The Royal Army retreats and regroups in Kein.

Year 130
The Bastard King and his Traitor Army, refusing to waste their momentum, march on the capital of Kein. This is now known as the “Siege of Kein”. The Royal Army is able to hold behind the city walls and fend off the invaders for 6 months. Casualties continue to rise. The inhabitants of Kein begin to starve.

Harold Gilgrend demands to meet General Azrius Ozryn and the Bastard, Ven Adrian in consecutive one-on-one battle to end the war. He suggests leaving it up to the God Azae. Azrius and Ven accept. They meet just on the outside of Kein’s walls to do combat.

Harold quickly decapitates Azrius in the blink of an eye with his two handed great sword as soon as their duel starts. Ven Adrian wishes to back out of his duel but the Lords of the noble houses who followed him force him to participate. The Bastard King fights valiantly, but is too eventually cut down by Harold and his massive sword. The Traitor Army puts down their weapons, and surrenders to the Royal Army. This marks the end of the Hictor Bastard Rebellion.

King Sarim claims that the noble families will only be punished lightly, but upon their entrance into the capital, the Lords are jailed and readied for execution. They are decapitated in Kein Square in the following weeks. Their surviving families are also killed under the order of King Sarim. This is known as “Sarim’s Noble Massacre”.

King Sarim makes the Lamar family Lords of Ozryn. He also gives the cities of Boar’s Den and Riresburg to the Gilgrend family to rule.

Year 131
Kildra is left destitute after the war. Criminals and bandit clans take advantage of the lack of soldiers to guard the major cities. Many slaves have perished in the fighting as well.

Year 134
King Sarim orders the rebuilding of cities. Taxation remains high to help with the restoration effort. The peasant class comes to hate King Sarim even more. Nobles complain of the lack of adult slaves to buy from. Word quickly spreads that a march on the desert is planned.

The young age of eleven for the Vendel Decree is still put into place. King Sarim still demands that the young sons of every family be sent to the capitol for military training. The peasant class cannot believe their King is planning another war just a few years after the previous one. Smiths are worked day in and day out to produce enough armor and weapons for the massive army.

Year 139
The many Lords of Kildra travel to Kein by the King’s orders and have temporary homes built. Marriages and alliances are made between the noble families. They begin to prepare for the desert march.

Year 144
After a decade of preparation Sarim marches towards the desert with his massive army. The first Nomasdae villages they come across deep within the desert are instantly razed to the ground. This is known as the first battle of the “Kildran-Nomasdae War”. The males are slaughtered almost entirely and all women and children are sent back to Kildra to become slaves. These are the first Nomasdae Slaves.

Year 145
The Nomasdae’s defending forces meet the advancing army and a bloody battle ensues in what is now known as the “Blood of the Deserts Battle”. Sarim prevails with his overwhelming force and continues his march to what he believes to be their capital in the heart of the Zeldwa desert.

The soldiers nickname Nomasdae's capital, "The Fortress" because of the high stonewalls surrounding the city. The Nomasdae prove again to be fierce warriors, repelling Sarim's army for over a year.

Year 146
This year marks the victory of the Kildran-Nomasdae War. After losing the majority of his army, King Sarim's relentlessness eventually forces the Nomasdae to succumb. The women and children are quickly rounded up, as was custom by this time. The first Nomasdae slaves, mostly women, that made it back to Kildra prove to be even stronger than full grown male nomad slaves and quickly becomes a sought after commodity for the rich who own farms.

Their warriors fought so bravely that it leaves a deep impression on the Royal Army and becomes a popular story to secretly pass around. So much so that the King makes it punishable by death if caught reciting or listening to the story.

King Sarim makes the controversial order to burn all evidence of Nomasdae culture instead of allowing his scholars to peer over their works and learn their language. Although many inventions were found and saved within "The Fortress", such as the printing press, the crossbow, the telescope, and the hourglass.

It is due to King Sarim's hatred and brash decisions that we know little of the Nomasdae to this day. Almost all art and literature are burned. Temples that appear to be similar to the Azae churches in Kildra are desecrated and brought to rubble. Shallow mass graves are dug for the Nomasdae bodies and quickly built upon.

Year 147
The Vicewins build Falcon Haven out of the ruins of “The Fortress”.

Year 148
Desert cities are constructed all along the river now known as the River of Life and on top of the former Nomasdae cities and even graves.

The Braylics build Braylic.

Year 150
The first fictional Kildran literature is written and published as most written work up until this point has been religious scripture. The new invention of the printing press helps spread knowledge through the country.

Year 154
The Aeons build Aeonicton (Hajean).

Year 160
The Vagarsons build Vagar.

Year 163
The Nomasdae soon outnumber the amount of nomad slaves in Kildra. Many noble families go as far as releasing their Kildran nomad cousins from slavery when acquiring the more valuable Nomasdae slaves. Many former slaves blend into peasant society.

Year 168
King Sarim the Cruel dies in his sleep at the age of ninety-one. His son, and several family members refuse the crown, possibly due to King Sarim’s terrible reputation. King's youngest brother, Azor steps up to the throne at age of fifty.

Year 170
Hunters exploring in the Northern Ice Mountains come back with tales of giant Ice Tral-el and people with the skin and hair of snow watching them from the distance. This is the first recorded evidence of the T'Odis people.

Year 173
Plays are invented and become a new pastime for the people of Kein and other major cities. Major actors and actresses gain well-known statuses.

Year 178
A large farming village does not send its shipment from the east coast of Kildra. Guards sent to investigate discover village burnt to the ground. It was determined to be a slave uprising. A few days later the slaves are found, hiding in nearby forests. They are captured and hung in Kein square. This is the first reported act of slave rebellion.

The Mobern build Mobius

Year 183
Small villages on the outskirts of Lorriston are surprise attacked and pillaged by Talichani raiders. A vast majority of the citizens are slain as the Lorriston army and guards are overran. The Talichani are suspected of docking far south on Zeldwa and making their way secretly up north. This is known as the “Second Talichani Invasion”.

Year 184
King Azor has the Tarins, the Sindors, and the Gilgrends collect their armies and meet the Talichani invaders. The Talichani make base in Lorriston. They send a messenger with crude knowledge of the Common Words to the Kildrans, who relays to them the Talichani “Demand the ‘blessed weapons’ of the people of the large land to prepare for the ‘end of times’ or they will continue their invasion.” The Kildran ignore the indecipherable demand and send the messenger back with their response, leave Lorriston and Kildra in two weeks or be slaughtered.

The Kildrans begin marching the next day to try to take Lorriston by surprise. They massacre and defeat the Talichani invaders overnight in what is now known as the “The Taking Back of Lorriston”. Lorriston is rebuilt with a memorial for the dead.

Year 185
By order of King Azor, what’s left of the Talichani prisoners of war are tortured mercilessly for months on end. The warrior women are made high priced sex slaves and sold to the nobles of Kildra.

At the end of the year, a few are freed and returned to their ships with a message to return to their people, that any Talichani who return to Zeldwa will be slain.

King Azor gains the title, Azor the Talichani Torturer.

Year 186
King Azor dies of an unknown cause at the age of sixty-eight. First born son, Terlin, takes the throne at the age of forty-four.

Year 189
Nautical technology has advanced somewhat in the past century, partially in thanks to builders studying the Talichani ships. Another attempt at sea exploration is made with a much larger ship. Crew bids farewell on a months long planned trip to explore the dark ocean.

Year 191
Ship returns with only half of crew. Crew speaks of everlasting darkness and miles long serpents that reside in the dark waters. Ships are restricted to only traveling the coastlines.

Year 192
The young Lady Varie of the Vanson family speaks out publicly against the slave trade and what she views as the terrible mistreatment of the Nomasdae and Talichani people. She finds a comrade in Ser Calin Roadalia, a young second cousin to the King and captain in the Royal Army. Ser Calin pleads with the King to hold a court discussion with the noble families over the matter of slavery. The King agrees but says it will not be held until next year.

Year 193
King Terlin gathers the noble families to the capital of Kein to discuss the issue of slavery. Lady Varie and Ser Calin are depressed to learn they are in the great minority amongst the nobles when it comes to their views of race equality. The General of the Kildran Royal Army, Lord Elber Tullywoth, makes the grave mistake of insulting Lady Varie during the discussion. Ser Calin challenges him in the middle of the court and cuts him down in front of all the nobles. King Terlin calls for both of their heads.

Due to his refusal to accept General Elber’s death as the outcome of a duel Lord Elber chose to partake in, King Azor becomes known as King Terlin the Undignified.

With the help of Calin's close friends in the royal guard, he and Lady Varie are able to escape. They flee to the northeastern city of Kanzar. Terlin puts the guards who are discovered to have helped them escape to death.

Varie, Calin, and their respected families, along with a few other like-minded nobles proceed to go into hiding along with their freed slaves. With their pooled wealth and resources they are able to build a small yet formidable army of mostly skilled mercenaries.

King Terlin appoints Gex Nevarron as the new General of the Kildran Royal Army; also known as Gex the Decapitator. All is quiet for several years.

Year 196
Ser Calin comes out of hiding and claims the entire northeast corner of Zeldwa as under his rule. The Kanzars of Kanzar and the Taggarts of Little Town pledge allegiance and side with Calin as does his father, Lord Nictus Roadalia. This marks the beginning of the First Kildran Civil War also known as the Roadalian Revolution. He declares himself King of what he names “New Kildra”. To no one's surprise, he takes Lady Varie as his Queen. They wed in a church of Azae in Kanzar. Upon hearing this news, King Terlin demands their excommunication from Head Priest, Kain Bendict. Kain refuses, stating it is not up to church to choose sides in time of war.

An infuriated Terlin cuts all ties with the church and has Kain Bendict put to death. He outlaws the worship of Azae throughout Kildra and destroys every church within his borders except for the one at the capital. The Kildran people begin to believe their King has gone mad.

King Calin soon abolishes slavery within New Kildra. Many nobles who disagree with their new rulers flee with their slaves and armies to Terlin's original Kildra. Battles are fought as they flee with Calin’s army.

General Gex Nevarron marches the royal army to meet with King Calin at the border city of Bridge's Pass. The young leader proves himself to be a skilled tactician on the battlefield and scores many early wins against Kildra. He is able to push General Gex's troops back as well as the border, gaining land. Villages located on the border become barren war zones with charred out smoking buildings.

Year 197
After two years of fighting, a stalemate is reached. Calin has gained much territory including parts of the Southern desert. Kildra has been sending most of its resources to the war effort and is heading into a state of poverty and depression yet again. Crime is steadily on the rise as bandit groups begin to appear all over.

Queen Varie gives birth to a daughter named Cornelia in New Kildra.

Year 198
The tide appears to briefly turn in favor for General Gex when a soldier fatally wounds King Calin in battle. The Royal Army uses this advantage to push Roadalia’s Army out of the southern deserts and back northeast. The victory is short lived however, when Queen Varie immediately takes up her late husband's role and proves herself to be an even greater strategist in war than him.

Battle after battle she manages to outmaneuver and out think Gex's forces. “The Battle of Mobius” proves to be a fierce one as the Roadalians destroy and push back the Kildrans to Groten. She renames her Queendom, Roadalia, after her family name. She fortifies the border between the two countries and continues to score win after win putting Kildra's death toll much higher than that of Roadalia's.

Year 199
Frustrated with his lack of victory, King Terlin has Gex brought back to Kein and put to death. Just days after the execution, King Terlin is found dead in his sleeping chambers.

New Timeline (2.0) - Period of Nations
Period of Nations

Year 200
With slavery abolished within Roadalia, Queen Varie has several refugee camps set up for the newly freed Nomasdae to help them integrate into society. This proves to be quite a difficult task at first because of many Kildran Roadalians still believing in superiority over the Nomasdae, and most Nomasdae viewing the Roadalians as being no different than the Kildrans. Many Nomasdae are the victims of persecution and sometimes murder. Despite Varie's promise of Roadalia not having a class system, the Nomasdae soon fill out the poorer class of Roadalia, taking the lesser jobs.

Varie allows women to enlist in Roadalia's Amy by choice at the age of sixteen. She has a group of young ladies trained by Valius Thorn, a highly skilled mercenary in her army, as her personal guard. To make a statement to her people, three of the twelve women chosen are Nomasdae.

Tral-el are no longer found in the plains Kildra, hunted to extinction in that area, now only existing in the mountains of T'Odis and the Jungles and deserts of Zeldwa.

Year 202
King Amollus II gathers much of Kildra's slave population to hallow out Zalur's Mountain in the far north and to start construction on a grand city within the mountain. The famous slave-traders, the Titwalds, handle most of the construction. Many of the peasant class are also able to find work on the project. This greatly boosts Kildra's economy and helps pull them from the poverty they had entered during the war.

Amollus II also claims all unclaimed desert and jungle lands south of Roadalia.

Not much is known about what happened, but most of the knights are slain and the scholars all sent back safely. The surviving knights speak of the Ice People's intense precision in swordsmanship. Amollus II declares that all Kildrans are to steer clear of the Ice Mountains. This is known as the "T'Odis-Kildran Incident".

Roadalia begins to rebuild cities destroyed during the war.

Year 211
With peace in both nations populations begin to increase. Major cities and the small villages surrounding them begin to add on and expand.

Roadalia starts to create a self-sustaining economy.

Year 217
Kildran noble, Matheu Maegan, reports his slave, Zacci, has run away.

King Amollus II dies of an apparent heart attack. Youngest son, Drazel, is named successor in Amollus II's will at the age of twenty-one. Construction on the mountain city of Zalur continues. Many slaves and peasant workers die during a cave in.

Year 220
A slave is accused of pushing her owner out a 3rd story window. She is hung in Kein square the next week.

A small, secret group of Roadalians form, both of Kildran and Nomasdae descent, to help slaves in Kildra escape over the border into Roadalia. They call themselves, "The Allies of Freedom". Helping a slave escape in Kildra becomes punishable by death.

Year 222
The slave formerly known as Zacci appears in the Kildran capital of Kein. He now refers to himself as Indorian, an old Nomasdae word for "Freedom". He spouts a quick speech about removing their shackles and rising up.

"They murdered our ancestors, raped our women, and erased our culture. How long do we serve without question? How long do we stand for this oppression when we are no different... How long do we remain cowards?"

The speech was brief and short. Guards chase him down, only to have him completely disappear in a crowd.

Year 225
Construction on the mountain city of Zalur is finally finished. It becomes a wonder for people all over Zeldwa to visit. King Drazel appoints the Titwalds as lords of Mt. Zalur.

Indorian shows up in one of the largest slave populated cities, Groten. Slaves rise up and attack their owners and the town’s guards. When Kildran reinforcements show up, the slaves are nowhere to be found. They retreat south into the unsettled parts of the desert.

Coincidentally, perhaps spurred by the words of Indorian’s speech, slave uprisings start in many large farming villages. Some are more successful than others, but any slaves who survive flee straight for the unoccupied parts of the desert to join with their comrades.

The most successful and violent slave uprising happens in Bergen. Many nobles in the city are murdered by their slaves and hung in the streets. The slaves outnumber the town guards five to one. This is known as “The Noble Hanging of Bergen”. A young male heir is the only survivor as he flees to Kein.

King Drazel does not humor this. He invites many slave owners to bring their slaves to watch as he has several slaves brought to the capital to be hung. They start with the children first, to make the parents watch. This was to show what would happen to them if rebellion continued. Quiet remains for some time.

Year 228
Masked, skilled, and incredibly well equipped warriors suddenly overrun several cities in the deserts of Kildra including Falcon’s Haven and Braylic. They show no remorse, killing man, woman, and child. At the end of the weeklong massacre, the group left just a few survivors. The leader pulled off his mask and identified himself as the slave rebel leader, Indorian. He stated the killing would continue until his people were freed. The group, with the newly freed slaves, disappears back into the desert once more. This point in history is considered the beginning of the Second Kildran Civil War also known as the Kildran Slave Revolution.

King Drazel of Kildra organizes his troops and sends his general, Lord Ed Vicewin, into the southwestern part of the desert that they thought the slave rebels were occupying and where they had lost contact with many cities. That's when they showed up as if out of nowhere. They were quoted as coming, "from the sands". The Kildrans cannot handle their guerrilla style of warfare. They get picked off one by one. No troops, including General Vicewin, return home.

King Drazel is embarrassed, but knows the slaves are still low in number. He waits and has the Tarins and the Bergens put troops all along what is now becoming the border, but hears nothing further.

Year 231
King Drazel Adrian sends more troops, month after month, to the border to prepare for attack. Outposts and temporary walls are erected. The decade remains quiet for the most part. The remaining slaves still in Kildra are kept guard and watched closely. Drazel is beginning to wonder if they had all died out there in the southern deserts. Then the day of attack came. A mass of charging, masked men attack the guard stations that run along the border. This is the bloodiest battle the Zeldwa continent had ever seen. It becomes known as “The Carnage of Crimson Sands”. It lasts for months with the death toll easily reaching the tens of thousands.

Year 233
The slave army attacks numerous major cities within the outskirts of Kildra such as Bergen and Rochdale, leaving no Kildrans alive and even going as far as to put the heads of many Kildran nobles on spikes.

Neither side seems to be winning.

King Drazel dies after a hunting accident at the age of forty. His young and only son of seventeen, Gillian II, takes the throne.

Year 237
King Gillian II tries to follow in his father's footsteps and continue to defend from the ever attacking slaves led by the fierce warrior Indorian, but soon realizes it is all in vain. He, himself, kept no slaves and was counseled by his advisers to end the war by giving into the slave rebels. A meeting was arranged with the now aged Indorian. A truce was bartered over the agreement to free all slaves and abolish slavery throughout the kingdom much to the dismay of the noble class, and to relinquish the southwestern half of the continent to the slaves to set up their own nation.

Year 238
The nation of Libertia is created. A council of 6 is elected by the people of Libertia to rule them. Indorian is elected to be the head of the council, while the major cities elect the other council members.

Queen Varie names her daughter Cornelia as her successor on her deathbed. Cornelia takes the throne at age fourty-one. Cornelia's first act as Queen is to declare Roadalia forever a Queendom, where only women can rule.

Race relations improve within Roadalia's populace.

Year 241
Indorian passes away in Libertia. A massive ceremony is held for their leader and liberator. The date of his death is made a Libertian holiday. Elections for a new Council Leader are prepared.

Year 242
Kildra focuses on rebuilding its economy. King Gillian II looks forward to the future and advancing his people. Many parts of Kildra, especially near the border have been stricken with poverty because of the war.

Religion falls out of favor to many noble and lower class people in Kildra. Most people would rather focus on rebuilding their lives and the immediate future then think of the wonders of the world.

Representatives from T'Odis come down from the T'Odis Gate to the capital of Kein to make peace and negotiate trade options. Strangely, they speak the Kildran Common Words fluently. They teach King Gillian II and his advisors about their nation and their leader, Emperor K’Umla T’Odis.

Construction on the first port city in Kildra, Ocean's Wake, begins.

Queen Cornelia of Roadalia continues her nation's support of the Nomasdae people by sending supplies and a message of goodwill to Libertia. Many Nomasdae are able to reach statuses of wealth within Roadalia.

With Indorian's death, Libertia prepared for it's second election. This splits the nation into two political parties, the "Soovs" or ancient Nomasdae for "Rebuild", and the "Lindors" or ancient Nomasdae for "Valor".

Year 243
Port city of Ocean's Wake is finished on the northeast coast of Kildra by the Yensirs. Many Kildrans travel there for the promise of new jobs and excitement of discovering the sea. Building of ships begins.

T'Odis scholars help Kildrans translate their language. A trade route opens between Kildra and T'Odis as the T'Odis Gate opens for merchant travel.

T'Odis makes first contact with Parshumian sailors while traveling the dark seas. They confirm the existence of sea serpents as well, and bring back the first remains for study.

he Soov, Elian Bander, is elected the new Council Leader in Libertia.

Year 246
Many ships make their first voyage out of Ocean’s Wake in the first month. Many set out to just map the coastline, while others plan to go much farther to explore. Claims are made that the old stories of serpents to be just tales to scare them as children.

Both Kildra and Libertia begin plans to rebuild cities destroyed from the war, and build several new cities.

T'Odis's crime problems continue to steadily increase. Emperor K'Umla continues to crack down and send soldiers after all criminals.

Year 249
In Libertia and Kildra city reconstruction continues without flaw. Many Lindors begin campaigning on and spreading the idea of closing their borders and isolating from other races.

No word from any ships that left Ocean's Wake, not even the ones that only planned to ride the coastline. Ocean's Wake becomes a dreary place

Year 250
One ship returns to Ocean's Wake in Kildra. The crew comes back with detailed drawings of beasts, tiny islands, and maps. Crew becomes famous and rich, but all vow to never go out to sea again calling it "worse than death". The rest of Kildra continues to advance as fictional literature spreads. Prominent writers become famous for their works.

Year 251
In Kildra, Ocean's Wake's population dwindles. King Gillian has a monument built for those lost at sea. Sea travel becomes a daredevil sport.

Year 253
Kildra begins to pull itself from the poverty it was in during the war. Cities and villages expand.

A new version of the religion Azae called “The Way of the Mother” is formed within the church of Azae in Roadalia and starts to spread. Interprets Azae as a goddess and the first human Selan Melander as a woman. Many clerics fight this interpretation and some violence comes of this.

The High Priest of Roadalia, Ben Yoseg, repeals the religious decree that the Nomasdae people do not have souls.

Year 258
Queen Cornelia Roadalia dies at the age of sixty-one. She names one of her personal guard, a Nomasdae woman named Karen Belltrout as her successor at age twenty-nine. Queen Karen turns out to be a devout follower of Azae and the way of the Mother. She makes the worship and practice of the religion law. Any literature, music, or plays that even slightly questioned the existence of the Spirit of Azae are banned and destroyed.

The atmosphere of Roadalia starts to change.

Mixed race relationships begin to appear around Roadalia, but are frowned upon at first.

Queen Karen appoints her own head priest to the church of Azae, ignoring Ben Yoseg, the head priest of Roadalia. She chooses a Nomasdae woman named Claire Sha for the position. She changes the name of her personal guard to the Holy Knights of Azae.

Year 260
Many artists and writers move from the now narrow-minded Roadalia to the now flourishing Libertia. Libertia becomes the hub for many scientific discoveries and is now thought of as a place of learning. Several schools on different subjects are built. The discovery of intact scriptures on the ancient Nomasdae Warrior God, Anahit are analyzed by scholars to translate.

Year 261
New elaborate and grand churches begin to be built throughout Roadalia

Arts continue to flourish in Libertia while creativity gets stifled in Roadalia in the name of religion. Plays become huge in Libertia as actors & actresses gain fame. Many scientists come to Libertia from all over to study the jungle forests and Tral-el. Tensions rise during heated debates between the Lindors and Soovs. Writings on Anahit spread through the nation.

Year 262
Queen Karen of Roadalia puts forth decree that all citizens must study Azae's scripture on the end day of each week. She has scholars study scriptures to find evidence of the Spirit of Azae being a woman.

An illness later named “Shaking Fever” begins to spread on the east coast of Kildra claiming many lives. It is characterized by the intense body shakes one goes through right before death.

Year 263
Some in Roadalia protest the religious oppression, stating they are "Non-Believers." They are jailed without trial as heretics for these protests by the Holy Knights of Azae. Alcohol is made illegal in Roadalia, as is the commonly smoked herb, Pashush.

The death toll from Shaking Fever rises as the nations doctors try to find a way to curb the disease. Bodies pile up in the streets of major cities.

Year 266
Shaking Fever reaches the capital of Kein in Kildra. Many in the extended royal Adrian family are stricken with the sickness. Most of the family perishes.

Year 268
Roadalia has a booming underground smugglers ring due to the strict religious laws. Bandit clans form but are hunted mercilessly by the Holy Knights.

Year 273
Shaking Fever seems to die down over the year in Kildra for no discernible reason.

Year 275
Kildra enjoys its decades of peace under King Gillian. Morale of the nations citizens has risen considerably in the past few years. Many noble families hold grand weddings. Holidays are celebrated with high scale festivities each year.

Year 280
King Gillian II dies at the age of sixty-one with no heirs (there were rumors of his sexuality). Two Noble families try to claim the throne to Kildra, Lord Unger "The Sun Sword" Hildren, and Lord Burton " The Axe" Mandril. Their two houses meet at the capital to discuss the future of Kildra only for them to break out into bloody combat. This marks the beginning of the "War of Arms" or the Third Kildran Civil War. Noble families flock to both sides, and each raises an army. War breaks out once again in the capital of Kein.

Year 281
The Hildren and Mandril meet yet again at Zalur Mountain. This is known as the "Battle for Mount Zalur". Thousands die in the conflict. The Hildren forces pull a narrow win. The High Priest of Azae in Kildra, Soris Palan, pleads for a peaceful resolution. This falls on deaf ears as the Hildren and Mandril forces meet again at the ghost-town of Ocean's Wake. Burton Mandril's forces pull a staggering revenge win; slaughtering Hildren soldiers on the battlefield. This battle becomes known as "The Battle Watched By Ghosts".

Year 282
Unger Hildren leads his forces to several victories, gaining intense momentum against the Mandril army. Pirates start to show up on the coastlines of Kildra, pillaging small villages and escaping to the Dark Seas afterwards.

Libertia builds new cities and strengthens its borders while the war in Kildra rages on.

Year 283
The last battle of the "War of Arms" is fought, again at the capital of Kein. Unger Hildren faces off against Burton Mandril directly. They fight fearlessly, but Unger eventually cuts down Lord Burton in a single swing. Upon Mandril's fall his forces surrender. Unger Hildren becomes the new Kildran King at age thirty-five. He bestows the Mandria lands to the Howkin family.

Many in Libertia begin worshiping the warrior-god, Anahit. Temples are erected for worship. Archeologists begin excavating for more ancient scripture and information on their ancestors. Two Soov council members go missing and are never found again. Several high profile Lindors are believed to be suspects but never proven. Elections are held to replace the missing members.

Year 285
King Unger Hildren takes a wife at the end of the war and marries Lady Linda Nevarron. He begins the reconstruction of cities that were damaged during battles. The people take a liking to their new ruler as he lowers taxes as well. He frequently addresses the people of Kein with well-spoken speeches.

King Unger becomes known as "king Unger the Benevolent".

T'Odis begins to experiment with sea travel. They construct a port-city in the Eastern Lawful Lands called P'Iking. Emperor K'Umla dies at the age of eighty. His eldest son, Morgus takes rule at the age of fifty-two.

Year 287
King Unger orders construction of new port-city on the Kildran coast. The Yensirs take up this project and build Yensa. The building project boosts country morale and the economy.

Year 288
Pirates become an increasing problem for Kildra and King Unger. The first Parshumian ship is accepted into Yensa's port to trade. Scholars try to decipher the strange Parshumian language but find it difficult. The Parshumian merchants adapt to the Common Words quickly.

One of the largest ever-recorded Tral-el attacks Hajean, now a trade-city, in the Swazi Jungle of Libertia. Thousands die in the horrible incident. In another city, Bali Boro, Lindors and Soovs violently clash after debates and protests.

Just like his father, Emperor Morgus T'Odis continues to have trouble with the rising crime and bandit raids in T'Odis.

Year 290
Kildra population begins to increase again in this time of peace. Bandit gangs become an increasing problem yet again in small villages far from the capital.

Libertian Council Leader, Elian Bander dies at the age of eighty-two. Elections are held, and a Lindor named Atonius Umi wins by a landslide. Plans to strengthen the military are put forth to the council. Atonius speaks at the Hajean memorial.

Libertia becomes a mecca for herbalists and alchemists with its strange plant and wild-life. Aspiring physicians also come to study at the many schools.

Year 293
Unger has massive monuments built in his name in the major cities of Kildra. He makes his born-day a holiday with a tournament to be held at the city of Iorn.

Parshumians gain notoriety in Kildra for their ability to hunt the sea-serpents in the ocean. They make for excellent merchants and smugglers.

Year 296
Peace continues in Kildra under King Unger's reign.

Queen Karen of Roadalia sends her Holy Knights of Azae to execute the many alcohol smugglers in the Queendom during one fortnight in what is called the "Roadalia Tavern Massacres". One of the Holy Knights is future Queen, Bernadette Manchu.

The first port-city in Libertia, Taganaka, is built.

Year 300
Queen Karen of Roadalia dies in her sleep at the age of seventy-one. Her chosen sucessor, Bernadette Manchu, takes the throne at the age of thirty-five

The Yensirs begin to build Kildra's first navy at Yensa. Ships meant for battle are designed and built with the help of Parshumian merchants.

Year 310
King Unger dies while hunting at the age of sixty-two. His middle son, Adelardus Hildren, takes the throne at the age of thirty. Many mourn a great king. Queen Bernadette of Roadalia and Emperor Morgus of T'Odis and his six sons attend services in the capital of Kein to show their respects.

Year 311
Queen Bernadette of Roadalia discovers her suitor, Maximore Patraussi, in bed with another man. She has him imprisoned and declares homosexuality a sin and punishable by life in the dungeons in Roadalia.

Year 313
Queen Bernadette of Roadalia marries a wealthy Nomasdae merchant named, Lele Pweo in a lavish religious ceremony in the capital of Ashah.

Year 315
King Adelardus' first son, Jaspar Hildren, is born. Adelardus makes his son's born-day a holiday and holds tournaments at the arena in Iorn.

Emperor Morgus of T'Odis dies at the age of eighty-two. His eldest son, Xorn, takes rule at the age of fifty-eight.

Year 317
Libertian cities on the coast start to get attacked by pirates on the daily.

Queen Bernadette of Roadalia repeals some of the stricter laws that her predecessors put into place. Non-religious fiction is allowed back into the nation. Many religiously devout protest these changes. Protests that become violent riots ensue.

Year 320
Libertian Council Leader, Antonius Umi, dies of illness at the age of seventy. Elections are prepared. A Soov by the name of Learo Tunii comes out as the forerunner in the race.

Pirates continue to become an increasing problem in Libertia and Kildra.

Year 321
Learo Tunii wins the elections in Libertia as predicted. A downsizing of the military plan to help with taxes is put into motion, much to the rage of many Lindors.

Year 322
The Kildran Navy has violent armed conflicts at sea with pirates constantly over the year.

Queen Bernadette of Roadalia allows the sale, consumption, and making of alcohol in Roadalia. She has a memorial made in the capital of Ashah for the alcohol smugglers and tavern owners who were killed on the Roadalian Tavern Massacres. The religiously fanatic in the country begin referring to her as "Queen Bernadette the Heretic".

Year 328
Libertia begins to build a navy, much like Kildra's, in response to their trading ships and coastal cities being raided by pirates. The pirates come out the victors in many of these skirmishes due to their superior sailing skills.

Emperor Xorn of T'Odis dies at the age of seventy-one of unknown causes. His eldest son, R'Ikix T'Odis takes rule at the age of fourty-one.

Year 330
Several important Kildran and Libertian trading ships are raided for their contents and their crews taken hostage by a specific pirate clan calling themselves "The Pirates of the Golden Cutlass". The leader, a Nomasdae-Parshumian man by the name of Aawut Teorol, decalres himself "King of the Pirates". They continue to reign terror on both nations' coasts.

Year 331
King Adelardus of Kildra sends a group of noble representatives to meet with Libertia's Council of Six over the pirate dilemma. Commodore of the Kildran Navy, Edgar Yensir along with several Tarins and Gilgrends meet with Libertian Council Leader, Learo Tunii and the other council members in Par Quan. They agree to join forces to try and eradicate The Pirates of the Golden Cutlass and any other pirate clans attacking their ships. This marks the beginning of the "Kildra-Libertia Pirate Hunts". The joined forces begin working on ships and temporary military ports on Libertia's coasts.

The Lindors in the nation protest working with the Kildrans in any way. A riot breaks out in Bali Boro that the military puts down. Several die in the conflict. Some know this as the "Bali Boro Riot" or the "Bali Boro Massacre".

Queen Bernadette Manchu of Roadalia deploys the Holy Knights of Azae to put down growing violent protests over her liberal policies. Many are jailed or killed.

Year 332
The Pirates of the Golden Cutlass somehow manage to sneak into the military ports on the coasts of Libertia and systematically burn them down. This is a major setback for the Kildran-Libertian Navy. The surviving guards who were on watch duty are sent to prison.

Libertian Council Leader Learo Tunii, usually a calm man, angrily demands the head of Aawut Teorol and promises a reward for proof of his execution or capture. Mercenaries and bounty hunters take to the seas.

Queen Bernadette of Roadalia receives a letter from the Libertia Council of Six asking for land military assistance while the majority of their army is involved with the Pirate Hunts. Queen Bernadette sends 3 Holy Knights along with their units to aide in their violent protests and skirmishes. Upon their arrival, many Lindor leaders in Libertia voice their displeasure.

Year 333
Emperor R'Ikix dies of illness at the age of forty-six. His eldest son, Xander T'Odis takes rule at the age of twenty-six.

The joint Kildra-Libertia navy finally finds the Pirates of the Golden Cutlass in the Dark Seas. They clash in sea battle and many perish. The collected bodies and blood in the water attracts a sea-serpent. Aawut Teorol's personal ship is able to flee in the chaos. Libertian Commodore, Hasina Rari, is lost at sea in what is later known as the "Vicious Battle of Blood Water".

Religious rebel groups have formed in Roadalia and skirmish with town guards. This is known as the start of Roadalia's "Rebellion of the Righteous". Queen Bernadette dispatches the remaining Holy Knights to hunt their leaders down and arrest them only. Some commit suicide to evade capture and become martyrs.

Lindor protests over the arrival of the Roadalian Holy Knights break out in the Libertia capital of Par Quan. The Lindors refer to them as "Kildrans under another name". The Holy Knights assist the Libertia Defense Forces in controlling the protests. They show physical restraint by suggestion of the Libertian Council. Tensions rise in the nation through the year.

Year 334
The remaining main religious rebels in Roadalia begin calling themselves the "True Followers of the Mother". Queen Bernadette labels them a dangerous cult in speeches given to the capital. The rebels start as unorganized militias, but become more put together by year's end. They are believed to be hiding in certain churches throughout the country. A protest in Kanzar turns into an actual battle known as the "Battle of Kanzar". The True Followers prove to be decently trained and well-equipped.

Queen Bernadette names the devoutly religious Captain of the Holy Knights, Anastasia Vanson, as her sucessor in an attempt to quell the rebels. Despite her appointment, the Holy Knights and the True Followers clash many more times throughout the year.

Lindor protests over Soov policies and the occupation of the Roadalian Holy Knights turn violent yet again in the Libertian city of Pomeran. City-guard along with Holy Knight soldiers try to contain the crowds. A fire starts, suspected to be ignited by Lindor protestors, and the ancient city burns to the ground in the "Razing of Pomeran". Lindor leaders use the opportunity to blame the Holy Knight soldiers for the fire to gather followers.

Year 335
The True Followers make a surprise offensive on the city of Leer in Roadalia in the "Attack on Leer". They are eventually defeated into retreat but a Holy Knight of Azae dies in battle. The nation mourns.

Year 336
A new pirate clan emerges on the coasts of the Libertian desert calling themselves the "Raiders of the Dark Seas". A kildran named Thomson Mortis, or "The One-Eyed Pirate" leads them. The joint Kildra-Libertia Navy is called in to patrol. While the majority of the joint navy is on the coasts of Libertia, Aawut and the Pirates of the Cutlass attack and attempt to pillage Yensa in a violent battle with the Yensir's army. The Yensirs are able to push them back to the seas.

King Adelardus has the Yensirs begin rebuilding Ocean's Wake as a military port to combat the worsening pirate problem.

One of the Holy Knights sent to Libertia is found in her chambers with her throat slit. The remaining two Knights meet with the council and have a heated discussion. A request to return home is sent by one of them back to Roadalia. It is believed to be intercepted by someone as Roadalia later claims to have not received it.

Year 337
King Adelardus of Kildra dies from a suspicious fall down the castle stairs at the age of fifty-seven. No culprit is found and his eldest son, Jaspar Hildren, takes the throne at the age of twenty-two.

King Adelardus becomes known as "Adelardus the Failure" due to his lack of success in the Kildra-Libertia Pirate Hunts. The hunts continue on under King Jaspar and Libertian Council Leader Learo Tunii. Learo's health begins to decline due to the pressure of the Lindor protests and the Pirate Hunts. The Holy Knights bring in their soldiers from around the country to hole themselves in Par Quan and refuse to assist in anymore conflicts.

Year 338
Despite protests from his advisers, the Libertian Council, and many of the noble lords, the young and courageous King Jaspar takes to the Dark Seas from Ocean's Wake with several ships and a small army independent of the joint Kildra-Libertia Navy.
King Jaspar leaves his younger brother, Prince Ansell Hildren II, and mother, Queen Cecily Hildren, in control of Kildra. This enrages many noble lords.

Learo Tunii dies of illness at the age of fourty-eight. Elections are prepared in Libertia as tensions finally die down. A seemingly moderate Lindor, Eaggo El-ehimini, comes out as a favored candidate.

Year 339
King Jaspar's personal navy successfully hunts down several small pirate ships a couple hundred miles from the east coast of Kildra. While he is away, a surprising move is made by the Holmstrom family of Lenent as they attack the Tarin city of Graystone in the "Holsmtrom Siege on Graystone". A failed marriage between the oldest Holmstrom son and a daughter of the Tarins, plus a resulting land dispute between the families, are the reasons given for the attack. This is the start of the "Great Holmstrom-Tarin War". Prince Ansell II chooses to keep the Royal Army out of the conflict by suggestion of the Chancellor.

Eaggo wins the elections in Libertia by a landslide. Despite protests from the Soov members of the council, his first act is to have the Holy Knights and their soldiers in Par Quan surrounded by the Libertian Defense Forces. He demands the last two actual Holy Knights be brought to trial for the "Razing of Pomeran". A violent battle commences between the Libertian Defense Forces and the better trained Holy Knights in the capital's streets. The Holy Knights eventually succumb due to their small numbers in what is later known as "The Holy Death in Par Quan". The sole surviving Holy Knight is put to death in the middle of Par Quan by hanging. Those in Libertia who follow both ways in the Religion of Azae are shocked based on the Holy Knight's religious stature.

Word of the Holy Knights' deaths finally reaches Queen Bernadette Manchu in Roadalia while she is on her deathbed. She dies at the age of seventy-four and her successor, Anastasia Vanson, takes the throne at the age of thirty-one. Her first act as Queen is to mobilize the remaining Holy Knights and Rodalia's military for war with Libertia.

Council Leader Eaggo proposes a vote to the council to dismantle their participation in the joint Kildra-Libertia Pirate Hunts. The vote goes through and the Libertian side of the navy is ordered back to Taganaka.

Year 340
"The Libertia-Roadalia War" begins with the "Battle of Mobius" as the Roadalian army marches onto Libertian soil. The city-guard are decimated and Mobius is destroyed over night. Word reaches the Council of Six in Par Quan and Eaggo orders the Libertian Defence Forces to mobilize.

The Libertian Defense Forces meet the Roadalian army at the city of Bassra, a couple hundred miles south of Mobius at the end of the year. The "Decimation at Bassra" shows how inept at warfare the Libertians are compared to the Roadalians. The Libertian Defense Forces are slaughtered and retreat. Soov protestors and leaders call for a mediation with Queen Anastasia of Roadalia.
Eaggo and the Council refuses.

The Libertian Navy returns to Taganaka and the captains and commodore are promptly arrested much to everyone's surprise. Council Leader Eaggo claims this is a precaution due to their fraternization with Kildrans at sea. This sparks rare violent Soov protests in the city which are met with aggressive action from military.

King Jaspar and his navy finally catch up to the Pirates of the Golden Cutlass on a small, uncharted island about 1200 miles southeast of Parshum. The Pirates have a large hideout on the island and a siege commences. This battle is known as the "Battle of Flames in the Dark". King Jaspar's Navy sets the hideout on fire as King Jaspar faces of in one-on-one combat with Aawut Teorol. After a fierce clashing, Aawut is somehow able to escape again. It is rumored that King Jaspar let Aawut flee after experiencing their equal swordsmanship.

In Kildra the Great Holmstrom-Tarin War rages on as the Tarin's incredibly large and devout military is able to push back the Holmstrom forces. The Holmstrom army gathers themselves in the Lenent city of Millhollow on the border of Tarin lands. This battle is known as "The Tarin Herding of Godfry Holmstrom".

Year 341
The southern shores of Libertia are surprise attacked by Thomson Mortis and the Raiders of the Dark Seas. This forces Libertia to fight a war on both fronts as Roadalia continues to advance from the north. Council Leader Eaggo is heavily criticized for pulling ou t of the Pirate Hunts and arresting members of the navy. The Libertian Defense Forces score their first major win against Roadalia in the "Battle of Suweto" which lasts for days, but get heavily hit by the pirates in the southern battles.

The Holmstroms request assistance from their allies, the Rochdales, who send a large amount of troops through the "Woods of Tarin" in Kildra. This proves to be a foolish move however, as the Rochdale troops are met with even more Tarin soldiers within the forest in a preemptive meeting. Lord Higg Rochdale falls in the "Slaughter in the Leaves". The Tarin army's use of camouflage and crossbows makes them seem like unstoppable "ghosts". Lord Higg's widow, Faya Rochdale, and her eldest son, Rowland Rochdale, call for Prince Ansell II to send military aid to avenge their patriarch's death. Prince Ansell II refuses in order to avoid all out civil-war.

The main Tarin army advances on Millhollow in the "Tarin Siege of Millhollow". The Holmstrom military is able to hold the city over the two week's long attempt. The Rochdales rage at the lack of support from the crown and call upon their houses to regather numbers. They then march along the southern border with Libertia's desert in an attempt to take Tarin forest cities by surprise.

Year 342
King Jaspar is not heard from in over a year and many presume him to be lost at sea. The Great Holmstrom-Tarin War continues as the Rochdale army successfully takes the Tarin cities of Pirn and Stanmore. Lord Col Holmstrom sends a message from Millhollow to his secret allies, the Howkins of Mandria. A coup on the crown is planned. This is referred to as the "Howkin-Holmstrom Rebellion", born from the Great Holmstrom-Tarin War.

The Holmstrom army pushes the Tarins back from Millhollow as Lord Wymond Tarin focuses the war effort on the Rochdales. The Tarins take back their cities by the year's end and another Rochdale son, Arthur Rochdale, falls in battle.

The Roadalian military makes a strategic retreat at the beginning of the year back towards the border. The Libertian Defense Forces focus their attention to the Raiders of the Dark Seas and begin to pick up wins against them. Roadalian ships make a surprise attack on the west coast of Libertia at this time and take the city of Kumasi on "Taasa's Island". At the end of the year, the entire island is under their control.

Year 343
The Howkins send a large sized army towards Kein in an attempt to take the crown. The "Forititude of Kein" is the name for the miserably failed siege by the Howkin as the Royal Army shoots them down from Kein's high walls. Prince Ansell II proves to have courage in the heat of battle. The Howkins retreat back to Mandria. They receive reinforcements from both the Rochdales and hired mercenary bands.

Lord Wymond Tarin's youngest son, Aldo Tarin, dies in the "Battle of Lindow" against Holmstrom troops.

The Libertian Defense Forces fortify Pomeran in preparation for battle with Roadalia. The mainly Lindor Council of Six continues to shoot down any ideas of peace made by Soovs and moderate Lindors.

Year 344
The rebuilt Howkin army attempts another march on Kein. Meanwhile, the Tarins completely push the Rochdales out of south part of the Woods of Tarin in one last battle. The "Crushing of Rochdale" finds the Tarins defeating the Rochdales with the death of Lord Rowland Rochdale and his brother, Malculmus Rochdale. His mother, Widow Faya Rochdale goes into hiding. The Holmstrom army pushes the northern Tarin army further back towards the city of Tarin in the "Great Holmstrom Push".

The Howkin's second attempted siege of Kein is referred to as "The Holding of Prince Ansell II". The large Howkin/surviving Rochdale/mercenary army surrounds the capital of Kildra. The Royal Army protects the city valiantly but the inhabitants are trapped by the overwhelming force. The Howkins attempt to starve the capital's residents in a months long period. Prince Ansell II continuously tries to get message out to the loyal noble families but they are suspected to be intercepted. Fortunately, the city is well stocked for a shut-in.

The Roadalians make a full-force attack from the "Morozoni River" in Libertia. They are met by the Libertian Defense Forces on the shores in the "Battles of Morozoni River". This battalion of The defense forces has a large amount of "Libertian Forest Rangers" which gives them the upper hand in the jungle based battles. The Roadalians lose and are pushed back to Taasa's Island.

Year 345
At the start of the new year, a disheveled King Jaspar Hildren lands in Ocean's Wake in a shocking surprise. He is informed of the Great Holmstrom-Tarin War and of the resulting rebellion with the Howkins. Wasting no time, he makes his way towards Riresburg with the capital as his destination. The Yensirs and Gilgrends join him along the way as a note is sent to the Lamars and of Ozryn and other Hildrens of Hildveel.

The destructive and creatively titled "Battle of Waves" starts mid-way through the year as the King's army crashes with the Howkin's. It becomes titled this due to the never-ending waves of attacks that the King's army employs on them outside of Kein. Tens of thousands of men die in the conflict. The grass is described to be mostly red with blood.

Roadalia moves south in the ocean and tries to take Libertia's capital, Par Quan. The capital's forces barely hold them off over their weeks long attempted siege. The Commander of the Libertian Defense Forces, Trevor Ul-aki, and two Holy Knights of Azae die in the battle.

The Tarins and Holmstroms stalemate in the "Battle Of Blood Stained Plains". Thousands more die on both sides.

Year 346
An emergency vote is enacted in Libertia to impeach Council Leader Eaggo El-ehimini. Only the citizens of Par Quan can vote due to their holding by the Roadalian army. Outside of Par Quan, the Libertian Defense Forces and Roadalian army clash daily as the bodies pile up. In close results, Eaggo is removed from his position much to the chagrin of the remaining Lindor Council members. The next oldest council member, a Soov by the name of Kenaki El-horri, takes temporary leadership and sends an offer of peace talks to Roadalia. The offer is turned down at first and the fighting continues.

King Jaspar Hildren personally slays both Lord Elyas Howkin and Ser Richard Rochdale outside of Kein and the rest of the Howkin army lays down their arms. The Howkin-Holmstrom Rebellion ends as King Jaspar returns to the throne. King Jaspar Hildren becomes known as "King Jaspar the Sailing Conqueror".

The Great Holmstrom-Tarin War continues. The Tarins force the Holmstrom army back. Lord Wymond Tarin's oldest son, Ser Rolland Tarin takes many lives on the battlefield including that of Holmstrom sons, Nigel and Josef Holmstrom. King Jaspar Hildren sends message to end the conflict before he has to come with the Royal Army to stop it himself. Lord Godfry Holmstrom eventually concedes defeat. Lord Wymond Tarin takes the Rochdale lands for the Tarin family pending approval from King Jaspar. Peace finally returns to Kildra.

Year 347
Celebrations are held in the capital of Kein on the one year anniversary of King Jaspar Hildren's return. South Kildra is left destitute after the battles as King Jaspar and the Tarins rebuild. King Jaspar takes one of Lord Wymond's daughters, Erriel Tarin, as his bride. He shows mercy on the Holmstrom family and states their loss of family members is punishment enough.

Although the battles continue and the Roadalians get slightly pushed back, the Council of Six continues to ask for peace in Libertia. Council Leader Kenaki requests and audience with the Captain of the Holy Knights, Christiana Ubiskuu and General Ariana Elletorp. They finally agrees and Kenaki brings the Libertian High Priest of Azae, Matthew Zane, despite being a Follower of Anahit himself. The Libertians request peace and offer the remains of the Holy Knights slain on their soil. Captain Christiana states they will only accept if former Council Leader, Eaggo El-ehimini, is handed over to them. Kenaki and Matthew must decline. She offers them safe passage back to Par Quan but the fighting continues afterward.

Libertian reinforcements come in from the east and attack the Roadalian army from behind in the "Saving of Par Quan". Another bloody battle ensues and another Holy Knight falls in battle. A route is cleared through to the capital and the Roadalians retreat back to Taasa's Island again. A second Roadalian battalion comes down from the northeast later in the year, lead by Roadalian Lieutenant, Jakob Forthee, and takes the major city of Kweolof in the "Battle of Kweolof".

Year 348
King Jaspar has a monument built for those who died at sea during the Kildra-Libertia Pirate Hunts in the capital of Kein. He is described as a somber and changed man since his return. Erriel Hildren gives birth to his first son, Owin Hildren. Taxes are lifted to assist with the rebuilding of the economy much to the joy of the people.

Commander of the Libertian Defense Forces, Joppa Miggins, stages an all-out attack on Taasa's Island. The "Battle for Taasa's Island" is another vicious one with the death tole reaching the several thousands. The Roadalians suffer heavy casualties but keep the island. Captain of the Holy Knights of Azae, Christiana Ukiskuu dies in battle. Council Leader Kenaki continues to send messages of peace to the Roadalians.

Roadalian Lieutenant Jakob continues to score northern wins in Libertia as he makes his way southwest to cross the Rey Ho River towards Par Quan.

Year 349
King Jaspar Hildren bestows the Mandria Lands to the Warner family.

Upon receiving the news of Captain Christiana Ubiskuu's death, Queen Anastasia Vanson of Roadalia orders back all Roadalian troops and ends the Libertia-Roadalia War.

Year 350
Many of Kildra's remaining forests are torn down to build new villages. The Way of the Father in the Religion of Azae begins to spread amongst the noble class once again. Lord Wymond Tarin combats the growing crime problem in his lands. The crime increases in Lenent lands as well.

Elections are prepared for a new Council Leader in Libertia now that the war is over. A young Soov, Yeaniaui Topokuu, gains attention for his impassioned speeches and he comes out as a head candidate.

Year 351
Elections in Libertia are finally held. Yeaniaui Topokuu wins by a large margin and becomes Libertia's youngest council Leader at the age of twenty-eight. His first order is to send his condolences to Queen Anastasia of Roadalia for the "pointless" Libertia-Roadalia War. Libertia begins to rebuild to pull itself from poverty with the rebuilding of Mobius.

Two notorious bandits, Parzo Zwepp and Goor, separately rise and unite several small bandit clans in T'Odis, coincidentally almost at the same time and on opposite sides of the country, to create the "Ysa Puhfas (Ice Wolves)" and the "Dhuubhaggars (Bloodletters)". The each begin pillaging villages all over T'Odis. Emperor Xander T'Odis dispatches T'Odis military to put an end to their raids. This marks the beginning of the "T'Odis Outlaw War" for T'Odis.

Year 354
A man shows up in the Kildra capital of Kein claiming to be the long lost "Pirate King", Aawut Teorol. He demands to see King Jaspar in one-on-one combat stating they need to "Finish their fight from years before." Against the wishes of his advisers and Chancellor, King Jaspar invites Aawut to the castle courtyard to do battle. Their duel lasts over an hour with them finding themselves evenly matched yet again. King Jaspar Hildren finally ends it with a swift strike through Aawut's abdomen. As the Pirate King bleeds out, King Jaspar holds and comforts him with some unknown words.

A Kildran by the name of Herman Fellmon opens up "Fellmon's Apothecary" in Libertia it soon becomes a successful business with multiple locations. Already existing schools are redesigned as "Universities" for older education by the government under new Soov policies. Lindors campaign and debate Soovs but remain relatively peaceful.

Parzo Zwepp falls in combat against the T'Odis army. His second-in-command, Valar M'Uu takes lead of the Ysa Puhfas. It appears they are communicating and coordinating attacks with the Dhuubhaggars.

Year 355
King Jaspar has a secret monument built for Aawut Teorol in the capital of Kein in the shape of a ship. It is never explicitly dedicated to him, but stories get passed around. He is sometimes spotted at night standing beside it.

Year 358
King Jaspar is celebrated as an excellent ruler. Kildra begins to enter prosperity again. Lord Wymond Tarin crushes the crime problem within his lands as the cities lost in the Great Holmstrom-Tarin War are rebuilt. The crime problem within Lenent only worsens as the Holmstroms are ill-equipped to deal with it.

Universities continue to grow in Libertia. Large libraries that aim to collect the world's collective knowledge begin construction. The economy lifts a bit, but several "Crime Families" begin to rise to prominence by taking over the various illegal trades and smuggling such as Pashush. New forms of music and dance are discovered.

The Outlaw War rages on in T'Odis. The further the cities from the capital, the worse the fighting is. Emperor Xander T'Odis dies at the age of fifty-eight from infection. His son, Menis T'Odis, becomes emperor at the age of thirty-six and continues to try to quell the bandits.

Year 360
A "Crime Boss" seems to be at the head of the growing criminal issue in Lenent lands in Kildra. His name is believed to be Orgal Shisk. A daughter of the Holmstrom family is kidnapped and held for ransom by an unknown group.

Goor and his followers in the Dhuubhaggars are finally captured and defeated in the Vruzam V'Urasg (Frozen Forest) of T'Odis. Stories of an Ice Tral-el interrupting the battle and eating numerous soldiers on either side spread through the country. The Ysa Puhfas continue fighting and causing havoc in response to the T'Odis laws.

"Play Circuits" are created in Libertia. These groups tour and put on specific plays for the rich and wealthy of Libertia.

Year 363
Trade booms inside of Kildra. Many noble families ascend to obscene levels of wealth.

Three crime families come out above all the rest in Libertia: the Pompoes, the Craylors, and the El-widifis. Pashush and other new narcotics are smuggled through the country as they all strengthen. They bolster the sex-slave trade.

The Ysa Puhfas, now lead by a man named simply M'Yva (Knife), have now amassed to a large army and start to march towards the capital of L'Aorn to try and overthrow the empire. Emperor Menis gathers all the warriors and knights in the empire to the capital and makes an attempt to slaughter the bandit army in one battle, known as the "Battle of Ice Flames" due to the emperor's cousin, P'Eatre T'Odis use of a mace covered in oil and lit aflame. The Ysa Puhfas are defeated. The Outlaw War comes to an end.

Emperor Menis realizes there are not enough soldiers left in the empire to fully enact T'Odis law. He makes the decision to split the empire between three districts, The Eastern Lawless Lands, The Western Lawless Lands, and the Lawful Lands. It is stated that the strict laws of T'Odis' past would only be enforced in the Lawful Lands. The inhabitants of the Lawless Lands would be left to fend for themselves but would be subject to taxes, called upon in case of foreign invasion, and nothing more. One of Menis' wives also suggests the idea of taking in the many orphans created by the Outlaw War and training them from a young age to be loyal soldiers and focused warriors. These orphans were to become the first "T'Odis Josgysa Lurbas (T'Odis Justice Hordes)".

Year 366
New construction of a gaming city, Pompoe, commences in Libertia. Started by the Pompoe crime family.

Year 371
Yearly combat tournaments in Iorn become larger spectacles as peace continues in Kildra. Champions of these tournaments become well-known and adored celebrities. Lord Godfry Holmstrom dies in his sleep at the age of seventy-three. His youngest son, Maebus Holmstrom, is a suspected partner of Orgal Shisk. He becomes new Lord after his older brother strangely declines his claim. Lenent cities soon become shady places filled with brothels and Pashush dens.

Year 373
The first T'Odis Josgysa Lurbas are dispatched and prove extremely effective. Outlaws are caught no matter where they run.

Year 382
T'Odis and Parhsum ships have an altercation at sea for an unknown reason. The T'Odis shoot their ballistas and sink the ship that carries the Parshum Calar, Prin Suparat's daughter. When news reaches Parshum, the entirety of their naval fleet is sent out to T'Odis, destroying all ships along the way. This marks the beginning of the "Parshum-T'Odis War".

Mount Vagar erupts in Libertia during the night, covering the cities built at its base, including Vagar, in volcanic ash and lava. Tens of thousands die, some in "petrified" states. This natural disaster becomes known as the "Erupting of Mt. Vagar". The southern jungles catch on fire from the lava. Council Leader Yeaniaui Topokuu orders in aid from the rest of Libertia but the devastation is brutal. The nation mourns the tragedy.

Year 383
The Parshumians land at Outlaw's Cove and meet the Empire's Army, along with the T'Odis Josgysa Lurbas, and even several bandit clans who are prepared and awaiting their arrival. The "Battle of Outlaw's Cove" takes the lives of nearly fifteen thousand men, their blood covering the snow. It is the most violent battle the Zeldwa continent had ever seen. In the end, the T'Odis slayed every last Parshumian that landed on their soil, proving to be superior at land combat.

Year 384
T'Odis and Parshumian ships continue to clash at sea. Some Kildran trade ships are raided by either side in the chaos. Instead of risking getting involved in the war, King Jaspar orders all ships to stay along the coasts.

Year 386
The great King Jaspar of Kildra dies peacefully in his sleep at the age of seventy. The kingdom goes into deep mourning. A large ceremony is held and surprisingly both the Council of Six of Libertia and Queen Anastasia Vanson of Roadalia both attend. Peace is declared amongst the nations over a legendary man's death as the elderly Lord Wymond Tarin reads his eulogy. Jaspar's oldest son, Owen Hildren takes the throne at the age of thirty-seven.

L'Iam T'Odis, nephew to the emperor and eldest son of future emperor, Tezzeren, dies in the "Battle of Crashing Ships". The war rages on at sea.

Year 387
King Owin Hildren is an accomplished musician and is fascinated by music. Having the same born-day as Vezra Day, he begins to hold a music contest at the capital on the holiday with a large monetary prize. Bards, bands, singers, and music troups come from all over Zeldwa.

Year 390
Kildra continues to thrive in peace. Outdoor plays become large spectacles in major cities.

Queen Anastasia Vanson of Roadalia dies of natural causes at the age of eighty-two. King Owin Hildren and Libertia's Council of Six attend her services Her Shield-maiden, Second-Lieutenant of the Holy Knights, Awiti Ul-ahidra becomes Queen at the age of thirty-three.

Several T'Odis trading ships go missing at sea. No survivors are found and Parshum is blamed.

Year 391
Queen Awiti Ul-ahidra of Roadalia begins easing on laws that ban plays, poems, and songs that are not religious in nature. Citizens on the border of Roadalia and Kildra come down with an illness that seems to resemble "Shaking Fever". Many fall deathly ill and pass as it begins its slow spread.

Parshum makes a second attempt to invade T'Odis soil, this time from the "Vrazam Sae (Frozen Sea)". The two forces meet, many of them leaving their ships to walk and do battle on the frozen ocean's surface, in what is now known as the "Battle on the Ice". T'Odis is able to stop the invading forces, but at heavy losses. Two more of Xander T'Odis' sons die in battle.

Year 392
Clashes continue between T'Odis and Parshum at sea. This begins to cripple T'Odis sea-trade. Crime increases in the port-city of Duun.

King Owin sends experts in the medicinal arts to the border of Roadalia and Kildra to help with and investigate the new disease. This becomes later known as the "Great Shaking Fever Epidemic".

The disease seems to spread at a more rapid rate in Roadalia as an even more fanatical version of the True Followers of the Mother spring up around it. They claim that converting to their way and intense prayer and confession will cure the disease. Official village clerics and priests try and discourage this.

Year 393
T'Odis begins constructing numerous one-hundred foot tall guard outposts at the borders of the Lawful Lands. These later become the "Great Eyes of T'Odis".

King Owin's medical experts confirm that the disease is, in fact, a new form of Shaking Fever. The illness continues to make its way towards the capital.

Meanwhile, in Roadalia, Shaking Fever spread faster due to the religious nature of its citizens and their belief that they can be healed through prayer. The True Way of the Mother cult grows in the shadows.

Year 395
T'Odis' largest ship, "Fefus Kyhhar (The Vavos Killer)", meets with a tremendous Parshumian ship and fleet in what is now known as the "Sea Battle of Titans". T'Odis scores its first victory at sea but their ship returns severely damaged.

A Holy Knight of Azae in Roadalia contracts and dies of Shaking Fever while aiding those afflicted with it, as does a member of the historical Vanson family. Emboldened by this, members of the True Way of the Mother begin preaching in the streets. They claim that the disease is a plague from the goddess for their sinful ways. Many are jailed by soldiers of the Holy Knights. Queen Awiti Ul-ahidra tries to calm the growing fear in her people with impassioned speeches.

A travel ban is enacted in Kildra by King Owin at the suggestion of the doctors who have worked with the sick. Only certain merchants are allowed travel. Criminals thrive on this by taking advantage of the collected people and the new need for smuggling.

Year 396
T'Odis trade ships are raided and their crews held captive in Parshum. Emperor Menis vows revenge against the Parshumians and promises the families of the prisoners that they will be saved. The severed heads of the crew members are discovered on pikes every few hundred miles along the shores of T'Odis by a patrolling Josgysa Lurba. Emperor Menis demands all shipmakers be brought to the capital to cooperate on research to build faster and safer ships to reach Parshum to attack them directly.

Ice Tral-el's poisonous frostrot disease is discovered when an explorer is bitten but survives in the North Mountains.

Eastern Roadalia is devastated by the Shaking Fever epidemic. Queen Awiti Ul-ahidra enacts a forced collection and quarantine of everyone who even appears to be stricken with the disease. They are all brought to villages on the eastern side of the Lorriston river south of Lake Vendel and watched over by several Holy Knights of Azae. The True Followers get a riot going in Lorriston over this. Queen Awiti Ul-ahidra sends a letter to King Owin Hildren of Kildra to discuss the epidemic but King Owin's doctors and scholars have made no headway with fighting the disease.

In Kildra the disease is still confined mostly to the Kildran border with Roadalia but is slowly spreading elsewhere despite the travel ban.

Year 398
T'Odis sends a fleet of ships to Parshum. Only a few ships and survivors return to explain that they were easily defeated by the Parshumians yet again. Emperor Menis fears retaliation and begins conscripting young boys and even girls into the empire's army. Orphans are still conscripted specifically into the Josgysa Lurbas to keep the law and peace at home.

Libertian Council Leader Yeaniaui Topokuu dies at the age of seventy-five from natural causes. Elections are prepared for next year. A moderate Lindor, Kalifa El-maha, is a head candidate in the campaigning.

Many continue to die in the Roadalia-Kildra Shaking Fever Epidemic. Queen Awita Ul-ahidra continues to deal with the True followers cult as they increase their violence.

Year 399
Elections are held in Libertia and Kalifa El-maha narrowly beats out his opponents becoming Council leader at the age of thirty-one, and in a surprising move for a Lindor, his first act is to send the nation's best scholars and medical practitioners to aid in Kildra and Roadalia's epidemic. This angers Kalifa's fellow Lindors and figures within the party instantly denounce him. King Owin Hildren sends his Kingdom's thanks.

By year's end Libertian scholars and doctors reach the west side of Kildra to help with study of the disease.

Year 400
Several Parhsum ships show up several miles from the T'Odis coast. City-guard watch as large vials of the Parshumian weapon, "Fire-Water" fly from catapults and explode on the coasts in gigantic fireballs. Outlaw's Cove and P'Iking are burned to the ground as many T'Odis citizens die in the "Parshumian Rain of Fire on Outlaw's Cove and P'Iking". The small amount of Parshumians living in the East and West Lawless Lands of T'Odis are either murdered in cold-blood or ran out of their homes. Emperor Menis dies of natural causes at the old age of ninety-three. With no surviving sons, his youngest brother, Tezzeren T'Odis becomes emperor at the age of sixty.

Emperor Tezzeren asks King Owen Hildren for ships from Kildra and commissions the current "Pirate King", Yancey Proudbottom, to train and lead his fleet.

In Roadalia one of the Holy knights of Azae stationed in the Shaking Fever camps contracts the disease and dies. it is believed that she was the forbidden lover of the Captain, Amare Musoni, as captain Amare orders the burning of the Shaking Fever camps almost immediately despite the protests from her subordinate Holy Knights. This event is known by many names such as "The Burning of the Damned", "The Razing of Those Who Shake", "Roadalia's Forsaken of the Ill". The True Followers gain many more members following the news of this massacre. Queen Awiti Ul-ahidra is appalled by this act and orders the arrest of Captain Amare.

A Libertian doctor named Albert Peneston works closely with the ill on Kildra's Western border despite protests from those who have worked longer with the disease. He strangely does not contract the illness.

Year 401
T'Odis continues to prepare for their second attempt at an attack on the Parshumian's home.

Libertian Council Leader Kalifa El-maha holds debates with his more radical Lindor peers at the request of Lindor citizens. He states that "Peaceful intelligence and fierce warrior pride are but two sides of the coin that make a great Libertian." and that "Working with Soovs and their ethnically Kildran fellow citizens is how to advance this nation forward." It appears many young Lindors are swayed by his speeches. Soovs take a liking to him as well.

The collected Kildran and Libertian scholars begin studying the doctor, Albert Peneston and why he seemingly cannot catch Shaking Fever.

The horrible fire in the Shaking Fever camps of Roadalia and the massive death that amounted from it has seemingly brought the disease to a halt in the country. Captain Amare faces a rare trial from her fellow Holy Knights of Azae who find her guilty of murder and treason. She is hung privately before the Queen and Holy Knights. This does nothing to quell the growing True Followers and it appears another rebellion may be on the horizon.

Year 402
Ships can be seen in the far off waters near T'Odis' eastern shore. The new T'Odis navy departs to meet them including Tezzerin's sons, Muard and T'Erhart T'Odis. T'Odis and Parshum clash in tremendous sea battles throughout the year. Muard T'Odis is lost at sea by the year's end to his father's dismay.

A Libertian apothecarist from Fellmon's Apothecary and a noted Kildran scholar believe they can create a cure for Shaking Fever from Doctor Peneston's blood. They begin working on a potion but progress is slow due to only being able to draw so much blood from Albert at a time.

Year 404
T'Erhart T'Odis leads the largest ever T'Odis fleet, along with the reconstructed Fefus Kyhhar (The Vavos Killer), on a mission to land on Parshumian soil. The T'Odis fleet meets the Parshumians near their capital of Ka Ja Ta. They wage sea warfare for many nights until the T'Odis are finally able to land on Parshum's beaches and continue their siege. The invading T'Odis soldiers are able to burn down half of the capital in the "Sacking of Ka Ja Ta".

The first person is cured in Kildra from the potion created from Doctor Peneston's blood. Only so many potions can be made at a time so only few are cured as thousands more die. At first, only nobleman are cured until King Owin Hildren's learning of this unfair cruelty. He orders that lots be drawn so that everyone gets a chance at receiving the cure.

The cure is brought to Roadalia to help save those that are still afflicted. New of the burning reaches Kildra and Libertia and people are mortified.

Year 410
After years of fighting in retreat, T'Erhart T'Odis' army has dwindled and they are finally defeated and captured before being able to escape Parshum. T'Ehard is hung by his feet in what is left of Ka Ja Ta as the Parshumian people beat him and throw rocks at him. Afterwards, he is waterboarded and he eventually drowns. Emperor Tezzeren is devastated.

After years of a mixture of cures, death, and practical evasion of the disease, Shaking Fever has been beaten back in Kildra. Unfortunately due to blood-loss, Doctor Albert Peneston passes away. The Gilgrends, having their lands the most affected, build a large monument for Doctor Peneston.

Year 411
Tensions in the T'Odis-Parshum War die down as both nations try and rebuild.

King Owin Hildren personally visits the mass graves of those that died from Shaking Fever in Nevos and Gilgrend lands. He is taken back by the sight of so many headstones and writes a song in their name. He arranges for the families of the fallen to receive care and transportation back to the capital to watch him perform the song. Many believe this to be an arrogant and narcissistic act.

Year 417
King Owin Hildren comes down with an illness believed to be Shaking Fever. There is but one potion left in the entire kingdom but when it is brought to him it has no affect. King Owin Hildren dies later in the year at the age of sixty-eight. His son, Adelardus Hildren II, takes the throne at the age of fourty-three.

Year 426
Libertian Council Leader Kalifa El-maha is found murdered in his bed, his throat slit. An investigation is done, but no culprit is found. Elections are prepared.

T'Odis' capital of L'Aorn is surprise attacked by battalion of Parshumians somehow coming from the North Mountains. The T'Odis fight bravely but there are many casualties. Many old family names are lost as they are slaughtered. This is known as "The Sacking of L'Aorn". The Empire's Army is able to defend the castle and hold off the invading Parshumians. T'Odis awaits reinforcements from its other cities. Emperor Tezzerin loses the last of his surviving sons and many grandsons in the battle.

Year 427
Libertia's council is left without a leader. An election is held. Two young cousins rise to fill the position, Zelsi Wintso and Drex Corgoso, both descendants of Indoria. Both catered to the different interests of the young population. Zelsi preached to the Soovs that now was a time to continue the peace their nation has experienced and move onto a "Golden Age". Zelsi Wintso's cousin did not hold the same beliefs. Drex called for putting all focus on improving their military, and eventually staging a full-scale attack on Kildra with intent on increasing their borders. He also continuously preached the age-old mantra of the Lindors, that it was just a matter of time until Kildra reclaimed their "slaves". He also proposes the idea of striking Roadalia in revenge for the Libertia-Roadalia War. Drex builds a fanatical following within the Lindors.

Unknown assailants attack a Soov campaigning office that Zelsi is scheduled to be at. Zelsi could not make it, but all campaigning officers are slaughtered. Drex comes out publicly against the attack the next day. Rumors fly that it was Drex himself who staged the attack. Election day arrives. Zelsi wins the election by nearly thirty-five thousand votes, which sends many Lindors into a rage. Protests turn to riots in the nation's capital. Drex seemingly publicly supports outcome of the elections, in order to try and quell the riots.

In Par Quan, Zelsi Wintso takes office as Council Leader and addresses the people of the capital. "The bloodshed has come to an end. I know some of you feel we should continue it, but I ask for peace. We must put the hatred, anger, and thoughts of revenge behind us..."

T'Odis reinforcements, made up mostly of Josgysa Lurbas, are able to drive the Parshumian forces out of L'Aorn and back into the North Mountains, although L'Aorn is mostly destroyed in the process due to the Parshumians use of Fire-Water.

Year 428
T'Odis tries to rebuild L'Aorn but must keep defending from Parshumians attacking from the mountains.

Queen Awiti Ul-ahidra of Roadalia names Captain of the Holy Knights of Azae, Gayana Dasa, as her successor when she dies. Gayana becomes her new shield-maiden.

Acts of terrorism begin to spring up in major Libertian cities. Buildings are burned down and key figures found assassinated. Many high profile Lindors, including Drex Corgoso himself, are investigated. No connections can be made. Construction of a new city, Taina, named after the fierce female Nomasdae warrior who fought in the Slave Revolution, begins. Terrorism interrupts construction committed by unknown assailants.

Year 430
In Libertia troops stationed at the Taina construction site clash several times with the terrorists. Many troops are killed in the small battles. Calls to strengthen the military continue and the troops lack of ability to handle the terrorists only backs the argument. Council Leader Zelsi Wintso and the council call for the violence to stop. Zelsi is afraid of what this is leading to.

Year 431
In Libertia, many Lindors move out to the southwestern deserts in a mass migration known as "The Lindor Migration". They move there to begin a new way of life and distance themselves from any Kildrans in the country. Nomasdae scholars in Libertia, mostly Lindors, begin closely studying the unique desert Tral-el.

Year 433
Queen Awiti Ul-ahidra of Roadalia decides to release those imprisoned only for the crime of "non-believing". Many praise her, but the religiously strict are angered. Queen Awiti declares neutrality in Libertia's inner dispute, but secretly sends her Holy Knights of Azae, including Captain Gayana, to support the Libertian government.

In Libertia, the first Lindor terrorist is caught alive. After a week of interrogation, he finally reveals their leader to be the missing Drex Corgoso. Upon this revelation, Council Leader Zelsi fears civil war is in the near future. Lindors demand foreign forces be removed from Libertian soil. Focus finally shifts to strengthening the military.

T'Odis mountain-scouts discover a large Parshumian base hidden in the North Mountains. They report back to Emperor Varxas as preparations are made to go on the offensive. Rebuilding of L'Aorn continues as memorial statues are built as well.

Year 434
Drex's whereabouts remain unknown Lindor majority towns and villages are put under martial law and this becomes a hot button issue during debates. No further terrorist attacks happen.

Year 435
"The Battle of the North Mountains" is fought in T'Odis. The fighting lasts year round, sometimes bringing the attention of massive Ice Tral-el, but the T'Odis are able to oust the Parshumians from their base. Emperor Tezzerin's last living grandson falls in combat against the Parshumian leader. The leader is brought back to L'Aorn and executed. Emperor Tezzerin becomes withdrawn.

Although no attacks have happened, Libertian Council Leader Zelsi and the rest of the council refuse to let their guard down until Drex is found. Cities with mostly Lindor populations remain under martial law. A small Libertia village, Vialis, is burned to the ground with all its inhabitants. A few survivors claim is was the Holy Knights of Azae trying to put down a Lindor demonstration. Propaganda spreads about the mostly ethnically Kildran Holy Knights of Azae, even though some of them are of Nomasdae descent. This becomes known as the "Burning of Vialis". Many young people join the Lindor party.

Cities through Libertia are attacked systematically by groups of well-trained and heavily armed men. Soldiers overrun many small villages on horseback.
