Welcome to High Rose Academy! Congratulations, your child has been selected for the program starting their first year of school. They will be living on our facilities until they have graduated their program. This academy breeds the greatest specialists and will be honoring our country for their excellent service. You will be given a large sum of money for your cooperation.
It is the year 2350 and the United States no longer exists. Instead the Americas have combined as one big super power as well as the European nation. This is the heart of the Great War and has been going on for almost a century now. With high stakes at hand, greater technologies, and more power, the American Nation has grown desperate to win this war. They started a new program about twenty years ago to create specific super human soldiers to stop this war once and for all. With their first set of graduates, they are hoping this war will come to an end soon.
High Rose Academy is an entire city underground with multiple buildings for schooling, housing, health care, and other facilities. Since it is underground, the temperature and weather is consistent and monitored by technology to stay the same. There is a night and day cycle where day time is 6am-8pm and night time is 8pm-6am. All food and water sources comes from above ground and there is no reason for rain to occur. Because of the consistent weather, there are no "seasons" it's pretty much spring/summer all year round with wind changes. School goes from July-December and start again January-April. (June-April counts as one school year with two semesters)
Children are evaluated for different tests at the age of 5, 7, 10, and 13. They are taught general skills and schooling until this point. After 13, they are put into more specific high schools, based on the category that they are best suited with.
Categories: Fighters, Support, Leadership, Mechanical, and Special.
Once children reach the age of 18 they are placed into a sub-type of their category and have highly intensive training with their specialty (basically a trade school)
Support sub-types: Animal specialist, medical, herbologist, scout, strategist
Mechanical sub-types: Tech, mechanic, engineer, scientist, pilot
Fighter sub-types: Marksman, close combat, demolition guardian, assassin
Leadership sub-types: Army, airforce, navy, marines, space rangers
Special do not have any sub-types, these are children that have excelled in multiple skills or have not found any skills they are good at and must pick a career choice when they are 18.
After they are 18, they have three years to master their specialized skill before placed under vigorous tasks. If they pass, they will be thrown into the military with their skills. Failure usually means death.
Ages 5-12 are separated each age level and are taught with generic classes that help prepare them for the tests later.
Ages 13-17 are put into categories and will have classes that are generic. Each year a student will advance with specific classes that is in the order of the sub-types (for example, if you are in a fighter category then year one will be marksman, year two close combat and so forth). The order is in from least difficult to most difficult as well as the categories are from least difficult to most difficult. Children in a fighter category do not have classes with children in a support category but the sub-types do mix.
If you are in the "special" category then how it works is year one basic support, year two basic mechanical, year three basic fighter, year four basic leadership classes. Year five, the child can choose up to three careers and will have classes based on their preference. At the end, they will either choose or be chosen for them of what their career choice is.
General ed classes are before lunch and specific classes are after lunch for ages 13-17

For Ages 5-17 the class hours are as follows:
8am-4pm Monday thru Friday with an hour lunch break at 12:00-1:00pm
For Ages 18-21 the class hours are as follows:
6am-6pm Monday thru Friday with two half hour breaks between 9:30am-10:00am and 1:30pm-2:00 for breakfast and lunch. Every other Saturday classes and training is also from 8am-4pm with a half hour break from 12:30-1:00pm. Other training and requirements are based on each specialty.
**Note about this roleplay: I am looking for very active players. I will post on here at least once a day and I expect everyone else to do the same. I will usually post more than once a day but I hope for everyone to post at least once a day and you might get left behind.
