Appearance: Iolas retains much of his youth despite being 88 years old. Iolas’s skin seemingly glows as his soft features radiate outward for all to see. Like most elves he has long pointed ears, and his hair is a bright blonde that runs just past shoulder length. The left side of his face (your right if you're facing him) is slightly covered as his bangs swoop in that direction. His slender frame betrays his strength; however, he is fairly tall, standing at a height of 6’ 3”. He almost never frowns, believing it compromises the beauty of one’s face; however, there always seems to be a faint sadness in his emerald eyes, almost as if tears could fall at any moment.


He adorns himself with jewelry that includes multiple earrings, bracelets, necklaces, and headbands as are the customs of his people. One notable piece of jewelry is a necklace with a shining, jewel that almost seems to be made of ice. Etched into the jewel are the words “Love Always.” Beneath his clothes Iolas has multiple scars as a result of the life he had lived. Moreover, it is said that he ads another scar to his body for every living thing that he kills.

Skills and abilities:

Blade Master: When it comes to swords and close combat, Iolas is very lethal. He prides efficiency and beauty with every strike and moves gracefully across the battlefield with his dual wielding style.

Poet? Didn't know it: Iolas is a gifted writer. He often writes poems, and logs of his travels. It started out as a hobby, but it is something he has become passionate about as it was a release point for his burdens.

Outback King: Iolas has survived as a wandering outcast for most of his life. He knows the layouts of both nations. (Moreso Summena. He has never traveled deep in Cyndara.) He is as comfortable living outside city walls and under the skies as he would be in a warm home.

Weapons and armour:


Iolas wears very light plated armor, preferring ease of movement over defense. For weapons Iolas carries two fine double-edged blades.

He usually wears a dark hooded robe and a dark scarf to cover the lower portion of his face while traveling.

Extra equipment: An extremely thick book detailing his encounters. Some might call it a Diary, he calls it a bible. He makes sure to write in it everyday, and its one of his most precious items.


Goals and motivations:

Create a safe haven for those like him and his father.

To meet his mother.

To meet a relative of the dark-elf that saved him and apologize.

Personality: Iolas has lived a long time and has thus undergone many changes in his life. He never made many friedns, but most are dead, or people he wish were dead. This has lead to a somewhat lethargic attitude toward life itself; for Iolas, living is not as important as it once was. In his earlier years, Iolas had the personality of a stone. He was simply a killing machine meant to serve his people and his god. He was without mercy, and thought it was an honor to die for a cause. During his years living under the dark elf, he began to grow little by little as a person. At first his stoic demenor turned to rage as his prejudice toward anyone within the Myst took priority over all else; however, he began to see the beauty of their country, their people, and their hearts. Although he never wanted to show it, he was very grateful to the dark elf who took him in, and taught him to look beyond the eyes of a soldier, and dream as an individual. He taught him how to love, grieve, and channel anger. He taught him that all life was valuable.

After his mentor's death, Iolas reverted to the killing machine he once was due to the suffocating guilt that rose within him. For all he knew, he deserved to die since that day. Seeking to channel these difficult emotions he raged across the lands as he sought blood and death. At this point in his life he was a mindless beast given to savagery. As his life came full circle, he finally regained his consciousness, and finally learned to live with the pain of his past, and use it to move forward. Despite his leap forward, he has refused to forgive himself. Now Iolas wears a mask of eerie calmness that often deflects others from his true emotions. Although he has grown to despise the prejudices held on both sides, he still keeps up with some of the customs of those from his homeland. For instance, he refuses to frown or contort his face in a way that will betray its beauty. Instead, he almost always carries a soft, faint smile and displays a relaxed, soft spoken demeanor even during critical times. He often seems somewhat desensitized to tragedy which makes him seem cold and uncaring even though this could not be further from the truth. He cares about those who live in this world deeply, and it is his desire to save as many as he can to make up for his sins. Although he would rarely show grief, it pains him that the shadow of death follows him wherever he goes causing him to truly believe he was cursed.

Although he is often misunderstood, Iolas is not a vegetable. He often speaks in parables, riddles, or in a roundabout sort of way and usually finds the silver lining in most situations. His second mask, if you would call it that, is a flurry of wit and sarcasm to cover up the internal storm that he has locked away for many years. He knows he should let go of his pain; however, he feels that should he move on, he would lose the last thing that connects him to the only man he called father.Lastly, it is extremely difficult to get close to Iolas; the real Iolas. However, if one manages to do the impossible they will see his pain, his love, his fears…everything he has locked away for so long. Nevertheless, Iolas is courageous dependable and loyal to a fault. He strives to protect those who can’t protect themselves


Character flaws and weaknesses:

Blinding Talent: Overconfidence in himself can cause him to let his guard down, or bite off more than he can chew. Even when faced with overwhelming odds, or failure, denial becomes his strongest weapon but in reality it is simply a glaring weakness.

PTSD: Certain things trigger something awful in Iolas which causes him to act out of the norm (the norm for him anyway). These might be blackouts, fits of anger, blissfulness during tragedy etc. Most likely caused by his PTSD. The intense guilt he feels about his past haunts him always.

(F=ma)>Iolas: Iolas has a pretty decent amount of strength for an elf; however, that is not something he can rely on in battle. Instead he prefers to rely on agility and skill rather than head in collisions.

Blunt Edge: Although Iolas is not above killing those he cannot "save", in most situations he only fights to defend or incapacitate creatures without killing them. Only in the most critical of times will he revert to his past self and kill those who oppose him. This makes battling 10 times more difficult, especially when the opponent would love nothing more than to skewer him.

Back in my day: Although he has not reached even half his life expectancy, he has lived a long time outside of social hubs. Iolas has become out of touch with certain practices' particularly those within cities. This would often lead to him behaving like a untrained/unknowledgeable child. He becomes extremely curious about things he doesn't know.

Fangless Wolf: Iolas is most lethal with two swords, dangerous with one, and almost harmless without them. Of course he could eventually take out average citizens, or a couple of grunt soldiers, without his prized blades but he his usefulness really runs its course when he does not have them.

Morality of a Devil: He wants peace and does not particularly likes violence, but that doesn't mean he is a saint. If it comes down to it, he has no trouble stealing, lying, or doing other questionably immoral things as long as it does not involve killing and destruction.

Bio: (3 paragraphs): He let out a great cry to let the world know he was here, and that he would cause it to quake. It was said that he glowed upon birth, signifying the arrival of a prodigious talent. Whether or not that was completely true, the fact remains that he was branded a warrior at birth. Iolas parents were not of noble descent; in fact, they were fairly-average in status and in beauty (by elven standards); however, Iolas was blessed with natural gifts that was most likely latent in his parents. Those in his family have only been utilized as mid-level merchants, or clergymen despite their elven heritage. Feeling inferior to their son’s potential and unable to properly raise him, they gave him away to the House of Everreach. A choice his father decided on. There, he was trained as soon as he could walk. While normal children learned to count fruit, he learned to count rations. When others cried, he bled. He honed his magical skills and became the perfect warrior for the House of Evergreen as well as Summena. By the age of 14 he was regarded as a genius. Some even joked that he had an outside shot at becoming the heir to Everreach if he continued to progress at his current pace. However, his lineage would always catch up with him, despite his efforts to please those of nobility.


He often dealt with unpleasant assignments such as assassination, recon (in areas where fierce battles were likely to ensue), interrogation, you name it. Nevertheless, his blind obedience and success rate only served to bolster the legend of a young boy who was slowly becoming the poster child for their race. This brought about jealousy among those who thought of him as an outsider, as well as those who thought he was too young. When he had turned 17 he was given a dangerous assignment to locate and eliminate a dark elf spotted on the borders of Summena. Despite the truths the story contained; Iolas, and no other elf of House Everreach was to confront the beast who had already took out 10 fine soldiers with ease. One of the jealous heirs gave him the mission under a “special assignment” provision; of course, Iolas complied without question. Iolas tracked down the dark elf to the Myst country; rather, he was lead to the Myst country. Once he was deep in their territory, he spotted the dark elf and immediately could ascertain the gap in their abilities much to his dismay. After a few struggling flashes of light, the battle ended decisively with Iolas choking on his own blood. Unable to fight, or even speak, he was going to become “fertilizer” for the man-eating vegetation in the area; however, at the very last moment, the dark elf noticed an ornament around Iolas’ neck. An ornament, given to Iolas by his birth mother whom he had never known.

A decade ago, his mother had spared the dark elf’s life after he had been injured in a battle with a nameless beast. Although he was completely vulnerable, she had shown compassion and healed him the best she could with her low-level magic before catching up with the rest of squadron before they noticed she was gone. Their meeting was swift, but the impact long lasting. He remembered the engraved stone around her neck, and now that same stone protected Iolas, so instead of killing him, he decided to raise him since he felt indebted to the one who originally owned the stone. It was as if Iolas was being born for a second time. It was not easy as the dark elf quickly learned how indoctrinated Iolas was in comparison to his kindhearted mother. Iolas held fast to his prejudices, and thoughts of his homeland; however, every breath was a reminder that he was being spared. After many long years he was able to look up to this dark elf as a father. Both were somewhat outcasts at this point of their life, and he discovered they were more alike than different. He even learned of some of the Cyndaran’s customs and religion; however, happiness was short lived.

One day, while they were out near the Half Sun Hills, a group of Summerans scouting the area had spotted them. You could attribute the following events to some strange PTSD developed by the way Iolas was raised, but seeing his countrymen and his new father figure prepare to do battle fractured his heart as well as his loyalties. With the dark elf’s guard down, Iolas literally stabbed him in the back and killed him while he was completely open to such an attack. Quickly realizing the horror of what he had done, only after it was too late, Iolas blacked out. When he came to, carnage surrounded him and he had no memory of what he had done. As he closed the astonished eyes of his late “father”, he let a single tear roll down his cheek. This was the last time he cried.

The years that followed were turbulent indeed. Possessing rage for the sake of rage, Iolas lashed out at anything that was living as if he had a death wish. He survived as an outcast to both countries, wandering, killing, surviving. After many years of living as a monster he came to a realization as he watched the setting sun; who says this was the way the gods wanted them to live. He had lived long enough to see their were flaws in both religions; however, perhaps they always wanted a world of tranquility. Accepting this twist on the stories and lore that he was told gave him peace, and he began to worship both gods as he sought out peace. Because of his past, troubling rumors, folktales, have spread about a wandering, bloodthirsty, monster/ghost who kills without warning or mercy even though he has since left that life behind.


An Analysis on Iolas: So this is the longest running RP I've ever been in and its only because I love the RP and my character that I've been so involved. Funny story, Iolas was meant to be a villain. I didn't really know what the gm was going for, but I originally meant for Iolas to be a deranged, lunatic, intent on becoming god to do away with the conflicting religions that already existed in the world of this RP. LOL, I was told to change that because who wants to journey with that guy. I'm glad that I did because Iolas is one of if not the most entertaining characters I've ever played. Most characters have a tough past, so that's not what distinguishes him, but it is his story of constant redemption and perspective. He has been knocked down so much but he has managed to continue living. He never forgives himself now that he knows what it is that he wants, and what he wanted. However, instead of being filled with hate, he feels sorry for those who are going to make the same mistakes at him and even tries to 'save everyone' but his reason for it kinda prevents this as being some cheesy aspect of his character. He hides the pain by making poorly timed jokes, puns, and acts oddly cheerful in most situations, in fact, its creepy. Behind every joke, you know there is pain. You know without a doubt this is a mask. You know he is just going through the motions, but the best part is that as he develops, the jokes remain the same, he still has a cheery disposition. Because of this the change in his character is subtle as he begins to do this out of a genuine reaction to those around him. He is battling the thought of forgiving himself. Freedom can be scary. What if he lets it all go? What if he begins to be happy? How will he react when its inevitably taken away from him again. With a great cast of characters to RP with he is growing steadily. He begins to embrace the present but it is barely noticeable on the outside since he seemingly acts the same. However, ironically instead of being happy ALL the time, you begin to see more moments where he is serious, angry, or sad. Ironically, the less happy he appears to be on the outside the closer he is to letting his past go, and being free as his true emotions break through the cracks in his mask. I wrote a lot but its just awesome.

Azillrys Grim

Nicknames: Grim The Storyteller, Grim the Devil

Age: 25

Gender: Male

Appearance: Grim is a fairly tall man standed at about 6' 2" and has a thin frame. He has long silver hair and red eyes which are a trademark of his race. His black scales range from the back of his neck and his upper back. This is part of the reason he wears his hair long in combination with high collars. His eyes seem cold and calculating; his smile devious and sly. However, he can often change his expression to suit his needs. His clothing is too eccentric to put into words. He even has a rose vine wrapped around his hat to serve as an example of that. Despite his eccentric clothing one can tell he is not one of noble background. They instead look like the hand me down costume of a performer, and that is actually correct since most of the articles of clothing are gifts from the friends he made while working in the circus.

Lineage: Tamsus, Dragon of Darkness

Skills and abilities:

Sleight of hand/Theft: Tamsus is a skilled magician who has practiced the art of illusion and deception (in the natural sense.) Sure its good for entertainment, but it is also good for thievery and fooling your enemies. You always have to be on guard because if you blink you might miss it.

Actor: As a performed/storyteller he is adept at acting. With his lack of shame he has no problem lying, faking an injury, or doing anything to gain an edge or serve his purpose. He can even cry on queue!

Escape Artist: Although a brawl does not suit him at all he is adept in the art of running away, or escaping trouble. He can untie knots, pick locks, and even escape out of heavy chains if given time. Call it cowardly, but he calls it life.

Strategy: Brains over brawn, or so they say. He prefers to plan ahead and see the big picture. Just know that he is not going to be facing you head on without a plan. He is pretty intelligent.

Photographic Memory- Self explanatory. He can remember details vividly with relative ease.

Weapons/Items:
Cane-A normal cane that he can always seen walking with. Gives him an extra flair to his ensemble; however, it can serve as a way to defend himself in close quarters.

Bag of Tricks: Although he carries most things in his hat, he has some of his "tricks" contained in a satchel for easy access. This includes throwing knifes, a deck of cards, magic powder, small explosive vials (used in performance, but these are merely colorful smoke bombs.)


  • Personality: Grim blessed with a silver tongue and an inclination towards risky behavior. Grim is someone who enjoys freedom above all else. He does what he wants to do, when he wants to do it; however, these actions almost always involve some kind of unconventional twist due to his thrill seeking nature. He would be lying if he said he didn't slightly enjoy the misfortune of others. He never misses an opportunity to employ one of his pranks, or get under someone's skin. His wit is second to none and is often conjoined with his sarcasm and dark humor. You could say that his intelligence is a chief cause of this behavior. Grim was always able to think a few steps ahead of the next person to the point he could even bypass consequences that he knew were bound to befall him. Without a doubt, this behavior is also rooted in his past. Misfortune befalls everyone, and he knows that more than anyone and has become incredibly calloused to things such as morality, life, and death. That is not to say he has no sense of morality. There are certain lines that even he won't cross; however, he won't shed any tears simply because someone died. If you want to get him to do something, then it is best you approach him with tangible terms and not try to pull on his heart strings. Despite all of his flaws he does have a heart. It is unknown of what one must do to get on his good side, but once he befriends you he will never forget you.




Character Analysis: Okay so I've only made a couple of posts with this dude but I really love his character. First of all, look at that FC, like he just appears interesting. Now most of the time my favorite characters to play are the eccentric kind. I'm not saying its extremely difficult to do. I mean just about anyone can make a weird character; however, making a wacky character with purpose, and direction. A wacky character that somehow meshes and balances well with the environment around him while also developing without taking away from his eccentric style is pretty cool to try. I mean you could just end up pissing off everyone in the RP. What I love about this guy so far is that almost everything he says, or does, is not what he says or does. His words have double, or even triple meaning, and he is almost never direct. Needless to say he is pretty selfish, but he subtly shows that he has the capacity to care for others. His outfit is proof. (Its a mix of all the gifts from his former circus mates). The way he talks, breaks out into song and goofs around hides his dark nature, and more serious purpose in the world. Like some of my other characters he has a fairly dark past, but it isn't what really drives him, Now it might have caused his current personality defects; however, he doesn't really care about it. LOL, he is just so freespirited and random. What I love the most is that with all these qualities he isn't some great bad ass fighter. He will run away, trip someone, trick people. Its just fun to write his scenes because you really don't know what he is going to do, and then you don't know why he is doing it. But there is always the risk that it all blows up in his face because he has weaknesses. Like this might be the weakest fighter I've RP'ed with (when discussing RP's that involve such a thing) but somehow he is formidable enough.

Due to his vast knowledge of weaponry and his ability to wield all kinds of weapons, he himself is now considered to be one among many inside and even outside the kingdom.

Appearance:
Xixix is a fairly tall man. Standing at about 6ft 3 inches. He has a pretty solid, yet lean build although one would see that underneath his everyday clothes he is pretty ripped despite his unassuming appearance. He usually carries a blank expression that seems to have just a hint of sadness; moreover, this blank canvas is accessorized by the mask he always wears which makes it pretty difficult to get a read on his true feelings. He has been told that he has an annoying face. Almost as if he is mocking your existence through your gaze alone. One of his most prominent facial features are the two scars/markings underneath his eyes. He has yet to divulge their meaning.



PERSONALITY:

Xixix doesn't take too many things seriously, including himself, and is always seeking ways to avoid any type of work. Despite his rank he prefers to leave problems to others and will often portray himself as a coward, preferring to give others credit for his work although you can never tell if he is joking or not. Hanging out with Xixix you will realize there is such a thing as being too carefree. Xixix will often say things in a matter of fact manner and can be pretty tactless at times even though it is usually coming from a good place. His laziness does not always extend to the physical realm. Xixix will often arrive at conclusions, or statements without saying the important parts in between. This can leave people confused as his speech might seem fragmented while his actual thought process is anything but.

He is pretty casual at all times. Speaking to most as if they are equals in despite their position in society. For clarification, he is equally kind and equally a pain in the arse for all parties involved.

In battle...a serious battle....a serious life threatening battle, he is almost a different person. While he maintains his blank canvas he is far more ruthless and cunning. He would resort to almost any strategy to assure victory making him a fearsome foe. This works both ways as he is usually good at controlling his emotions even if his peers meet their end on the battlefield. Because of this many might view him as cold-blooded; however, he remembers every single person who has died on his watch.

BACKSTORY:

Xixix was an orphan since birth. That no doubt played into his psychology, but don't play that violin just yet because he actually doesn't mind it. Obligations are taxing, or at least that is what he told himself to deal with the circumstance. He couldn't understand why his peers at the orphanage made such a big deal about being adopted. How could random people love you if the people who are supposed to love you by default break their own rules? He should have known he was different from most children by that thought process alone, nevertheless he did his best to fit in as long as it did not involve him being adopted. Xixix would constantly misbehave, especially when there were visitors, just so he would not get adopted. He didn't feel like forming a life long contract where he had to play the role of someone's son....it would be too taxing. The person who ran the orphanage thought he might be bi-polar since he was well behaved and lethargic for most of his stay there. Although he didn't like to work, he admired the Ace and the royals, often training in secret, dreaming about becoming an Ace one day. They were cool, and being awesome had its benefits. For instance, if you were at the top you could just tell others what to do and live an easy life.
One time while the head of the orphanage was out, he took care of three would be kidnappers on his own. He didn't think it was a big deal; however, it set the wheels of fate in motion. Because of his attitude toward adoption, and his discovered abilities, the orphanage contacted the mages in order to evaluate Xixix. He went along with this since he could get out of the orphanage and become a mage at the same time. This was when he started hiding his face at a young age just in case he became one of those feel good stories where he accidently ran into his birth parents. Reunions are....taxing. As he went through the evaluations he showed promising skill and he learned what roles the Jack, Queen, and King ranks entailed...as well as the Ace. Long story short, there was no way in hell he was doing all that. He aimed for at least rank 5, constantly sabotaging himself and acting inept. However, due to the nature of his magic he accidently rolled a 10 and summoned Alexander. Although he destroyed the training facility, and would later have to rebuild it, he achieved the 10th rank much to his dismay. Xixix continues to live his life, trying to maintain the respect he has garnered over the years while not getting too much respect lest there be talks of him moving up.

Royal Tournament
A tournament was held worldwide to decide what mages would end up being royalty. Of course, X did his best to get out of it since they were targeting those who were ranked at a 10 as the prime candidates for this tournament. Being ranked at a 10 was perfectly fine. Very little responsibility besides protecting the people. If people asked you a question you could always pull the "Speak to the manager" routine and refer them to royalty, or even another 10. You were famous...but not too famous. Important, but not too important. It was everything he could have hoped for; but somehow he got dragged into this sideshow. He was famous enough in his own kingdom that they wouldn't let him get away without competing. Plus, he realized that some incompetent hot head could end up gaining an important position...but that's what the Ace is for...unless they are also incompetent. After weighing the pros and cons he decided he would put up a good fight and then throw the match toward the end. Out of all the positions the King seemed to suit him best so he would through his lot there. During the tournament, by some misfortune...or fortune if you consider what happened next, X accidently got his canister of water mixed up with an alcoholic canister of a nervous contestant. After getting drunk he rolled a 9, gaining access to one of his more powerful weapons, and went buck wild. Not even he could tell you what exactly happened. He woke up the next day as King of the Club Kingdom much to his dismay and for some odd reason people seemed terrified of him.

Post Time Skip
Despite having reservations about being in such a position X has fulfilled his roles dutifully. It wasn't the most orthodox reign, nor was he the most orthodox King, but he was there for his country when they needed him most. Although he was not weak by any measure it was his mind that helped him out the most. He avoided conflict as best he could since their kingdom had a considerable turnover; however, he has poured focus on intel and relations with the other kingdoms. Being a King wasn't so bad after all...especially since he rarely acts like one. With a new responsibility to live up to he has trained to get stronger and meet the expectations of his title.

ABILITIES:

Lady Luck's Armory-The collective name of 10 weapons that have different capabilities. It is a versatile, yet troublesome ability. You see Xixix Valentine has the ability to throw a magical die that summons 1 of 10 weapons from a mythical armory. Below are the 10 weapons, their corresponding number, and their abilities.

1. Eclipse-Eclipse is the collective name of two chakrams. (Circular bladed object primarily meant for throwing, but can be used in close quarters.)These are tethered to himself with a magical, invisible string that he uses to control them like lethal yo yo's. One special ability of these magical chakram is the ability to expand and shrink on command which increases their lethal capabilities and can surprise the enemy. They can expand to the point that they have a 4 foot diameter and shrink to as little as tea cup without losing their deadly cutting capabilities. The special ability is the Iron Cyclone in which the expanded chakrams rotate violently and produce cutting shockwaves due to their speed of rotation.

2.Oathbreaker-6 ft sword that can cut through most things. While it is massive in size and weight, Xixix can swing it as if it was made of air due to his magical connection. Covers a great range. Special ability-Mirage blade-The user can perform multiple strikes within a single swing. Consecutive swings acts as a multiplier. Others will see this is afterimages.

3. Asura-summons two pairs of gauntlets that float about the user. Essentially they act as extra limbs for the user which makes him dangerous in close combat. They have other uses, such as touching harmful substances/energy and multitasking. Special Ability-Hand of God, the gauntlets form one gauntlet that he wears on his right hand with visible energy flowing through it. He then snaps and that's half the population (lol jk). The user has the ability to disassemble and reassemble anything he touches with that hand. Touching living things won't kill them, it will only have them unable to function, however, creatures with strong magical/physical disposition will have a proportionate resistance to the effect. (Some might go minutes without being affected at all if they are strong enough) He can only disassemble a single object at a time. Once this ability runs out anything that was disassembled is reassembled; however, it does not have to be reassembled in its original composition.

4. Incantations of Madness--(IOM) IOM is a book that fills itself out as Xixix continues to live his life. The ability of this book is to summon infinite weapons...or at least as much as his mana will allow. If Xixix has seen it, he can summon it out of the book as long as he understands its workings. This includes weapons of the Agrossian Empire. Unlike the weapons he sees in everyday life, these are marked with the special insignia so that only he may use them; however, they are more or less ordinary weapons outside of that fact. The Trump Card of this book is Steel Rain. Like its name suggest, a large amount of weapons will rain down from the sky and damage the battlefield. Everyone take cover! It is said the amount of weapons falling total to around 100.

5. Aegis-Xixix summons a large shield. It's main use is for defensive purposes. Being able to block physical and magical attacks while dealing blunt force damage in combat. A strange ability is that Xixix can also ride the shield like a hover board which offers him great mobility on the battlefield. The special ability of this weapon is that he can Erect a barrier around himself and allies in close proximity.

6. Gonieg-A long steel chain with a heavy blunt instrument on the end that is shaped like the head of a dragon. Xixix has complete control of the chain and can make it take paths and directions that are physical impossible. It is more dangerous in closed spaces where he can reflect it off surfaces to increase its speed. If he captures you with the chain your energy will be drained to weaken resistance; however, this effect is slow and to drain someone at the same strength as X would require 5 minutes. The special ability of this weapon is Iron Dragon. The chain increases in mass and becomes a chained Dragon intent on decimating it’s enemies.

7. Virtue and Vertdict-Dual arrow launchers. Great for ranged battles. The arrows are made out of concentrated mana and will last as long as Xixix has mana which favors him in most cases. Special Ability-True Spear Cannon-Shoots a concentrated arrow that is capable of traveling long distances. This attack can be launched from at least a mile away. (He can't see as far as a mile but theoretically if it was a large target, or a general area to be targeted he could shoot from that distance.) Unlike the arrows he normally shoots this arrow creates an explosion upon impact.

8. Preix-A large scythe that was supposedly owned by a reaper (this is more or less a rumor to spook others) is summoned. This attack grants Xixix the ability to phase through solid objects although high energy based attacks can still effect him.
(Fire, lighting, light etc.)


The phasing can only last for a total of 2 seconds, and a 5 second cooldown is required before he can use it again. Also he can’t attack while phasing. The trump card of this scythe is rebirth. One time and one time only can he regenerate from a lethal blow but this is only if the attack does not automatically kill him. Furthermore, the regeneration begins 5 seconds after he activates the ability. After using this ability he can no longer phase through objects, essentially losing his ability until the next dice role.

9. Purgatory-A unique and powerful armor that was said to belong to a strong warrior of the past. When clad in this armor all of Xixix physical skills are sharply enhanced. (Half his mana total is added to his physical stats). He is particularly resistant to dark magic in this form as well. The trump card of this armor is Overdrive. For a second stats increase (The remaining mana total is added to his physical stats) Xixix breaks his physical limit by pouring more energy into the armor. A white aura will surround his body (cosmetic effect only) as this allows for a second stats increase; however, Xixix will also suffer considerable recoil and damage from his attacks and can only maintain this form for 5 minutes. Afterward he will be sore and considerably fatigued.

10. Castle Alexandria-When summoned the user is shackled to a chair resembling a throne and a fortress is summoned to defend and attack on the their behalf. The chair can move via mental command; however, it is fairly slow in speed. The fortress is comprised of 10 giant iron rooks. They are embedded with cannons that shoot down compressed mana/energy at the enemy and erect defensive barriers nearby. The trump card for this ability is Guardian Alexander-The Rooks will combine and transform into a giant humanoid structure that is roughly two stories tall with the user in the center which boasts great offense and defense. The physical stats are the same as the user; however, the durability is highly increased. With all else being equal this is arguably his strongest weapon. After using Alexander's final form he is unable to use mana for an extended period of time.

He cannot use weapons that are not marked with the insignia of Lady Luck's armory. Using such weapons causes him great pain to the point he has to release them immediately. The opposite holds true as well. No one else may use or manipulate the weapons in X's magical armory; however, Telekemtics and others with the power to move physical objects by any means may use them.

ALL OR NOTHING
Xixix cannot roll again until the next day. Whatever weapon is chosen by the dice is active for that entire day.

JACKPOT
If his last 3 rolls have all been the same number, he can then choose his weapon without having to roll.

General Abilites:
Physical aptitude, close combat prowress, strategic.

Weaknesses/Drawbacks:
It is a strange ability to say the least. One could argue that he could have the potential to be Ace...that is if he was able to access all of his abilities whenever he wanted. The most glaring drawback is that he can't use more than one ability at one time. Even if he has an ability that fits perfectly for the situation he is in, he only has a 1/10 chance of getting it. Second the weapons have, for the most part, one essential function. Most relying on his own natural aptitude in combat while other enemies have multiple ways to take you down. In other words his abilities are more spread out even though he has many to choose from. Moreover he has to be more strategic, creative, adaptable and skilled to bring out the best of his ability despite of its drawbacks.

Appearance: Iris always handles herself with grace, confident, and poise to the point that no one would guess she is a low ranked mage who was practically disowned from her family. Despite that dying her hair towards the ends seems to clash with her personality the rumor is that this is an attempt to stand out. She almost always has her head in a book, often multi tasking between reading and whatever task she has been assigned.

Personality (optional) : She has been described as being a bit too uptight. She hardly ever goofs off and even at a young age it wouldn't have been strange to think she was just a nanny who never hit a growth spurt. She takes pride in her professionalism, ability to plan things out, and punctuality and almost detests anyone who doesn't do the same. Because she has had to claw her way to even achieve her current rank she is a workaholic and finds it difficult to relax. This gives her a bit of a chip on her shoulder since she is always ready to prove others wrong even if it is the result of a fabricated slight on her ability. She becomes flustered when things do not go as planned and although she usually overcomes setbacks she does have doubts about being a worthy mage let alone royal.

She can be cynical and pessimistic despite her aspirations; however, she is not unkind. She will almost always honor her debts and will never forget those who have been kind to her. Despite her hardened and serious demeanor she has a soft spot for cute things. Calling her out on it will only fluster her even more.

Biography:

Under different circumstances she would have made a great politician, or an elected official; however, fate had other things in mind. She came from a family line that possessed great power. No one in their bloodline had ever been ranked below a 7 and this was coupled with their high social status. However, once Iris discovered her abilities, she was seen as a black sheep due to her low ranking magic (rank 2 at the time). Her magic was not lethal, nor was it highly ranked among support magic (particularly in battle). To gain the good graces of her family she poured her all into studying and improving her mind by using both her magic and her natural intellect to no avail. Despite her many efforts to prove herself worthy of the family name she could never compete with a fire breather, a rock crusher, or a water gusher. If one were to highlight her intellect alone, she would be considered a prodigious talent. By the age of 14, albeit with the help of her magic, she was well versed in law, tactics, business. Those subjects in particular could help make her a great royal; however, she was still far too weak to even mention such a dream without being scoffed out. Despite her intellectual gains, she remained relatively unnoticed. Now she has furthered her intellectual spectrum by studying history, geography, and science.

After the royal tournament, which she failed to sneak into, she ran into X at a bar. He was complaining about becoming the King. Honestly the nerve of some people. Here was this man, who was living out her dream of being one of the 3 royals and he had the nerve to not only complain, but drink it off as some cause for depression. Iris was drowning her sorrows because of the exact opposite reason. Choosing to ignore the foolish brat Iris angrily flipped through the pages of her favorite books while X continued to get shitfaced. Of course X asked her if she had a paper cut fetish which brought her back to the real world. (She had gotten so used to her methods of reading that she forgot that it was uncommon.) After reluctantly explaining her abilities to the strange man, she was surprised when X called it a terrifying ability. At first she thought he was being an ass, but after prodding him further his words appeared to be genuine. Out of all the people who had entered her life this drunken idiot was the first to acknowledge her abilities, although she wouldn't say her abilities were anywhere near terrifying. X took it a step further and hired her as his personal assistant. She wasn't sure how valid the words of a half drunken King was, but this was a small step toward her end goal.

Of course when she showed up to work the next day X claimed to have never met the woman in his life. However, once she explained her abilities again X pretty much had the same reaction after admitting he did remember some chick coming on to him at a bar. After an actual job interview which consisted of X "testing her" with a few "practice documents" she became his personal assistant.

Abilities:

Literacy Manipulation

Iris has the ability to instantly read and understand any form of literature simply by touching its pages/medium, even if it is in an uncommon language. This includes maps. This allows her to sort paperwork, conduct research, and study at an exponential pace. This is even helpful for works that have aged over time, making them difficult to read by normal means. Under the influence of her mana she can repair these works of literature to their prime form. She can even make edits (ex inserting/deleting words, font etc) to the works in question.

Instant Messaging
Iris has the ability to craft a special piece of paper that she calls, Ka. This allows for communication between her and anyone of her choosing no matter the distance. However, this communication only works if you are contacting her since she can only open the channel for you to write and receive messages with her ability. Each crafted item is special and unique to the user since she needs the mana of the person in question to create it. A byproduct of this ability, due to the nature of its composition, is that the paper acts as a mana tracker; moreover, she can somewhat sense the condition of the person in question. (If someone dies the paper crumbles to pieces.

Personality (optional) : H-Hi it's nice to meet you....Wysteria suffers from multiple personality disorder and currently houses 3 personalities. Wysteria is cunning, cold, and calculating. She is not afraid to use less than honorable methods to achieve her goals and has little trust, or respect for anyone other than herself. She is ruthless and would not bat an eye at even the most gruesome sights. This is her base, or primary persona. Wendy, that's me, was created after she had escaped the dungeon. Biography: Wysteria's birth would have been celebrated by most households; Let m- however, her birth destroyed her family. At birth Wysteria's mana reserves were abnormally high. In fact, they were much higher than the next official heir of their noble family. Needless to say, due to optics and politics they quickly made efforts to bury her existence. They did not kill her, for they could always utilize a potential powerful resource, but until such a time transpired she would be locked away in an underground dungeon as if she was a monster. She spent most of her childhood isolated from the world and her family. Servants would come to provide her with whatever food was leftover, as well as teach her the basics. Unfortunately, several experiments were also carried out to test the limits of her abilities. One servant, Eren, who was only a few years older than Wysteria befriended her. He would often sneak full meals, tell her stories of the outside world, and commend her on her strength. He became a mentor, and good friend. In fact, this was the only time she really began to question the kind of life that she lived. As time continued to pass they eventually hatched a plan to run away and disappear once and for all, but that would prove futile.

Despite her isolation, the feeling of inadequacy never -me left her father, who was now considerably weaker than his chained up daughter. Eventually, his perceived inferiority overwhelmed him to the point of obsession. Not willing to kill his own daughter, mainly for his own selfish reasons, he decided to seek other ways to become stronger. This included research on dysidia. He began to dabble in the forbidden, malevolent magic in order to increase his power. A day before Wysteria and Eren planned their escape, her father attempted a spell he could not control. The LET- entire estate was turned to ruin...save for Wysteria. YOU B****-, Her family, the servants, Eren HAHA all became denizens of the dead, unable to live and unable to die. Free from the mental chains her father cast upon her she continued to wait...bound by the chains of a newfound friendship unaware of what became of him. It was during this time that W-Grwgeigswf was born. To adjust to the isolation, pain, and denial of neglect, she created Wuu. Nevertheless, even this defense mechanism wasn't enough to stop her body from succumbing to her lack of proper nutrients. She began to deteriorate with the faith that Eren would come for her. -IN bueibgieb was reported that she remained in that cell for 4 months. Eventually, mages took care of the zombie incident before it spread to far. They did not find Wysteria, but not too long after this event, Wuu took ov-REMEMBER and escaped. There was nothing left.

Wysteria managed to survive on her own before wandering to a nearby city. Once the citizens saw her condition she was immediately placed in a hospital. Later, it was quickly discovered that she possessed immense mana although it had no direction, or form. With any guidance she could very well be a competent mage, likely nothing less than a seven once her full potential was achieved. She was unsure of what to do with her life, and the mages did not know exactly what to do either. Since she had no documented past, and no one else to take care of her she was taken in by an older, veteran mage who became her teacher. He knew she had the potential to be talented, but her growth surpassed all expectations. After finding out what spells she had an affinity for she quickly developed her magic and sharpened this sword overtime. Her magic was practically harmless at first and she was no more than a rank 2 once she finally joined the rank of the mages. However, her growth was faster than anyone could have expected as she quickly rose through the ranks. Eventually, she achieved a rank 9 by the age of 16. The remaining years of her life was spent learning new spells, and better ways to utilize her existing spells. During this time her mentor would pass due to natural causes but she would continue to fulfill her potential regardless of his status. In fact, she felt nothing at the time of his death. Her motivations for living still remained, power and revenge. Revenge on the world that allowed her to be born. This is my story.

Abilities:

CLOUD MANIPULATION-Wysteria can create and manipulate different kinds of clouds and there properties. Some uses include but are not limited to flight, shields/barriers, fog, storm clouds.

Subspells

Cumulonimbus -A dark storm cloud used to generate lightning which Wysteria can blast at the enemy. The amount and strength can vary given the amount of mana poured into a technique, or the situation.

Stratus (Snow)-Creates a cloud to generate ice that can be rained down at the enemy. The cloud itself can be used to attempt to freeze/chill the enemy (not instant). Nevertheless, the most common use of Stratus (snow) is to shoot hail or iciciles that can very in size, or amount.

Stratus (Rain)-This is used to unleash a torrent upon the enemy. It can be cast as rain, or all the water can be released at once, crushing the enemy or putting out fires.

Nimbus-Cloud utilized for flight. With more mana it can be expanded to carry multiple people.


THERMOKINESIES-Controls the temperature of objects and her surrounding area by generating or absorbing heat. To directly control an objects internal temperature she must be in direct contact with the object. Objects such as diamonds will take much longer to melt, as well as objects already enhanced by mana. In general, she can raise or lower the temperature of her immediate surroundings (range?). If given enough time she can bring about local drought, or boil water/(generate freezing temperatures)

Heatwave-By concentrating her thermokinesis in the air by a specific point, or path she can generate a concussive heatwave to travel toward her target rather than generally heating her surrounding area.

ALCHEMIST

She can change the properties of water to that of a corrosive liquid, or gas and then manipulate it for her own purposes. Of course there is a limit to the amount of water she can create.

Gear:

Special Gloves that are highly resistant to extreme temperatures.

A butterfly sword she utilizes for close combat, or to augment her attacks.

Drawbacks:
  • His accuracy and precision is usually only threatening with his ability to use weaponry although it can come in handy in other situations; moreover, it is moot if the opponents defenses/abilities are too overwhelming.
  • The barrier is permeable, allowing things to pass through it; moreover, he can only remain invisible for 30 seconds. Takes a 30 second cool down before using the ability again. (Proportionate cool down for however long he uses the barrier)
  • He can only platform if other objects are available and can hold his weight.
  • Doing this requires great focus on his part and takes a toll on his body by pushing it to a limit that is above its current capabilities thus reducing stamina. Can currently only do this 3 times a day.
  • Can be prone to sensory overload, for example a flash or stink bomb might effect him far greater than an average person.
  • His ability with a gun is totally dependent on his access to said weapon, and the capabilities of that weapon.
Weapons:
Lore is a master of the gun and utilizes a variety of weapons that he keeps at "homebased." However these are the guns that are normally used on his missions.
