Rosie could hardly contain herself. This was the most exciting day of her life!

Well... after joining the Global Shield of United Nations, of course.

She was finally moving out of that raggedy studio apartment she was living in with her foster sister, Cornelia Robinson, and into an actual 2 bedroom LUXURY apartment complex!

"We're totally the new girls in town!" She chuckled to herself, beaming at Cornelia as they approached their new home.

"HA!" She chuckled heartily, "See if you're this excited when we're unpacking everything! We've got a WHOLE moving van to unearth!

It was a bright, sunny day nearing Los Angeles, and Rosie and Corny were battling traffic on the 405 while driving an air-conditioned, mid-sized U-Haul.

Rosie giggled as she looked out of the big trucks window, excited for what the day would bring to her despite the upcoming chore.

How much stuff could they possibly have to unpack and drag to their new apartment? Their old one barely had enough room for the two of them to live! Plus, most of her belongings were now in G.S.U.N Central anyway.

"Soooooo... You think this new place will make it easier to get there and back without using too much fuel and catching cold up there so long now that we're much closer to it?" Cornelia winked, quickly putting her eyes back on the road afterwards.

"Yeah, it'll definitely be nice to not have to spend the night at HQ or fly high in the cold night air for so much now!" She agreed, relieved.

She didn't mind flying, but the cold and huge use of jet fuel for transportation were another story.

"That's good! More time to work on your assignments, ya slacker!" Cornelia joked as she playfully gave Rosie a hard time.

"H-hey! Y-you leave me alone a-and stop judging m-me! I can't help it the world needs saving when Mr. Comic book Superhero needs his left arm filled in with blue!" Rosie defensively stumbled, secretly agreeing with Corny that she had to balance her two lives better.

"I'm kiddin', I'm kiddin'!" Cornelia chuckled, "You've probably got a much more excitin' day job than most of your other super pals!"

"We have a strict policy of never asking about our mild mannered alter egos!" Rosie playfully scoffed indignantly, even turning her head and adding a 'hmmmph' afterwards.

"OK, Mega-girl," Corny rolled her eyes as she exasperatedly sighed.

"H-hey! Don't just say it all willy-nilly l-like th-that!" Rosie gasped, shocked Corny would say her alter-egos identity so nonchalantly.

"Oh RELAX, it's not like this U-Haul's rigged or anything, geez!"  Cornelia laughed, having none of Rosie's paranoid, conspiracy theorist nonsense.

"St-still..." Rosie muttered, clearly paranoid already.

"AH! FINALLY! THE EXIT!" Cornelia nearly shouted upon seeing it, properly changing lanes to the exit from the fast lane in the appropriate speed.

"Heh, seems like we've been driving for FOREVER, huh?" Rosie giggled upon noting the look of relief on Cornelia's face.

"Rosie, I like driving, and I love spending time with you and all... but... So help me God, if KIIS FM plays LADY GAGA'S 'EDGE OF GLORY' one more time I will literally rip out this U-Hauls radio!" Cornelia gritted through her teeth, narrowing her eyes and glaring at the radio while saying to as if to threaten it.

"You know, you could always just change the station if you didn't like it," Rosie told her while raising an eyebrow to her.

"...Why would you bring logic into this friendship, Rosie? Why do you hate me?" Cornelia asked as they exited the freeway and were finally in L.A.

They stopped by at a fast-food restaurant that was close for some burgers for lunch since they were starving, getting large combo sizes AND dessert as proof of that,  and then completed the final stretch of their journey to Scenic Grove Apartment Complex.

It wasn't the most impressive of places, and certainly didn't look as luxurious as other 'luxury' places they saw while apartment hunting, but it did look nice and the rent seemed fair. Plus, there was a pool!

They picked up their keys and key-cards and parked the truck at the closest entrance they could. Their apartment was on the second floor, sadly, so it would be quite a haul indeed.

"I don't suppose you could..." She started while trailing off to glance at the special 'suitcase' Rosie hid her costume.

"NO! Absolutely NOT! Are you loco in your cocoa?!" Rosie scolded her, not believing she was about to ask that of her. She knew if her mentor, The Captain of G.S.U.N, had known her foster sister knew her secret identity he'd have a whole litter of kittens!

"Okay, okay... Sorry.. It's just sooooo muuuuccchhh," Corny grueled, hanging her head in defeat before they even began.

"Well, we'll get through this like we did before! The sooner we lug it all up there, the sooner we can unpack it and the sooner our home will be set up~!" Rosie beamed trying to stay positive since she was in a great mood.

"Watch yer pal, the Capp'n, call you on your communicator and tell you to report to HQ soon as we haul, like, ONE box up there," Corny predicted, a bit annoyed, as her second life did beckon Rosie at the worst of times for her personal life.

"Don't jinx it! A-and don't say that stuff so freely!" Rosie stuttered, looking around to make sure they were alone, again paranoid and nervous.

"Haha, okay, okay, sorry," Corny apologized, knowing she had pushed enough of those buttons... for today...

They actually managed to lug most of the smaller boxes off the moving truck, but when it came to their couch and tables and bunk bed, they started struggling.

"Nnnnnngggghhhhh...So.. heavy..." Corny barely managed to grit.

"MMMrrrrrrnnnmmm, PUSH!" Rosie struggled while yanking the mattress of one of their beds up the stairs from the top step. Corny was right, this would have been easier as Mega-Girl...

"THAT'S IT, SCREW THIS THING! MOVE IT, ROSIE!" Cornelia decided as she put all her strength into flipping the mattress to the top.

Corny launched the bed right at Rosie, but as it was about to flatten the little woman, she felt herself being tugged out of the way from it's sudden burst forward.

"OH CRAP! I'M SO SORRY! ARE YOU OKAY!?" Corny called as she rushed up the stairs to check on her foster sister.

"Y-yeah, I-I'm fine..." Rosie stuttered, not because of nearly going splat against the apartment walls, but because she was now in the arms of a very handsome, young, blue-eyed, golden-haired man who was warmly smiling at her...

Y'know when one thinks about it you could probably miss a lot of stuff if you never looked in an Alley. One example being a young man beating the living Tar out of a bunch of thugs. "The hell are you waiting for? I thought you said you could take me on again? Or was that some stupid tough guy talk. Well if you are embarrassed you have yourselves to thank for that. If you didn't act like a bunch of jerks going around and beating those weaker than you, well you wouldn't be here. So if you think you can somehow beat me come on. I'm waiting for one of you to make my day!"

As a bus pulls up to a nearby sidewalk, the door opens and a blind man wearing a jacket with a katana strapped into him walks out with ease. Even WAVING at the bus driver as the bus pulls off, and slowly pacing forward. "I'm not one to usually start with my day in a city I'm unfamiliar with... But if I can provide any sort of help for the good of mankind, it will make up for all of my years of suffering..." He straightens his blindfold as he slows down his pacing a bit, turning his head around to get his bearings. "Luckily I'm not TOO blind." He says under his breath as he begins focusing, noticing a shimmer of light reflecting off a building next to him. "Well, let's try building numbero uno." He says as he accidentally walks into a hospital. "Oh my gosh!! Sir! Are you okay??" A nurse shouts at the blind man. "Uhhh..."He has to come up with something fast, his window of opportunity will not last much longer. "LOOK, SOMEONE BROKE THEIR BACK!!" He shouts, pointing behind the nurse as he slips out of the building, and makes his way further down the street to see a bigger building. "Well, I'm willing to bet this is the one I'm here for." He says as he approaches, and opens the doors to the building. As he enters, he feels the presence as several people looking at him with confusion. Seeing as though a blind man just opened a door, and entered the building with ease. The blind man reaches in his pocket to pull out a card that reads "Global Shield of United Nations" He feels the texture for a moment, then approaches the front desk to see a young woman greeting him. "Hello! I called in advance for a possible recruitment interview... The name's Dante, Dante Leonheart."

Max stretched out on a bench, enjoying the sunlight. Actually, "enjoying" might not be the best choice of word there, as he actually wasn't much a fan of the feeling of sun rays upon his face and exposed arms. What he WAS enjoying, however, was the feeling of relaxation from sitting down. He'd gotten off the bus to this city some 30 minutes ago and had been wandering around ever since. If only he could find that... G.S.U.N. building.

You could just... ask people?

It's not that easy.

Yes it is.

Yes it is...

Max sighed at his own social ineptitude. After a few moments, he senses something in his mind. There are people. Many are in distress. I can't read exactly what it seems like there might be an assailant there.

Don't intervene

I'm intervening.

Max got into the alleyway to see one man beating up a group. The group seemed to be afraid.

"Hey!" Max yelled to the man. "What are you doing?!"

@Baku

The man was about to turn around and leave then saw a kid standing where he entered. "Showing these guys how big of a mistake they made. What business is it to you. I hope you aren't going out of your way to help a bunch of thugs who mug, threaten, and beat people down. After all I would be ashamed if I had a kid like you involved. Or do you think I'm some villain tormenting some poor souls? I will say that statement is half true. Because I just made them some poor souls."

@Assailant

Max shook his head. "If they're villains, then take them to jail!" He did sense the man was telling the truth, but that didn't make what he was doing 100% okay. "You don't just beat people up and leave them. Call the police, or if you're really determined, bring them in yourself, but just beating people up serves no point."

@Baku

Elias was feeling good. He'd just pulled off a quick solo attack on a jewellery store as Cloak & Dagger, his alter ego, and it had gone off without a hitch. His power meant that he didn't even need to threaten the attendants in the store - just grab as much jewellery as he could by smashing through the glass, then take the cash register, and fly off before the police can even arrive. If the shopkeepers had a weapon, he'd not have been bothered still - not that they did. He was almost grateful for the circumstances in which he was given his incredible abilities... almost.

Just the ability to fly was incredibly freeing. No one else could come up here, save for a secretive, rare few, and he could literally go anywhere he pleased. He could storm GSUN, and he might even kill half of the fools in their staff before they could react with stronger fools - Mega Girl, the saccharine, stereotypical hero, or Nega, lead defender of the status quo. Others maybe, but those were the ones he saw most, though he had yet to truly meet them, be it with words alone or in combat.

Once at his flat, he dumped his takings within a hidden compartment inside his floor boards and changed out of his "work" clothes. He had some shopping to do, so he headed out of the apartment and down the corridor... before meeting one of his greatest enemies at the top of the stairs.

Acting quickly, he allowed part of his cloak to boost his legs from under his clothes, and when he got to the girl he grabbed her and pulled her back, just as the mattress shot past her and slammed into the wall. As soft as a mattress may be, it would be heavy, and whacking your head against a wall like that would hurt.

"Goodness gracious, are you alright?" he asked her as he let her stand back up. "You looked like you were trying to kill her!" He joked to the girl he saw down the stairs - obviously, the one who did the throwing - good arm on her, he thought, ...and she's pretty cute.

Los Angeles-Museum of History

Looking down through the skylight, the master thief grew a smile under his mask. Most days he is known to the world as William Rike the rich businessman living the life of luxury, however on these nights he is known as The Phantom, one of the world's most skilled thieves. On these nights he proves why he earned that title. Opening the skylight to them museum, the thief nimbly jumped his way down, hiding behind one of the exhibits once he reached the floor. The reason he had to decide to grace the museum with his presence was that this museum had recently come into a number of rare Egyptian jewels, one of which was the Eye of Edfu. The museum was closed until later. Having a grand entrance or something. Shame Rike would have to ruin it. Watching the guards and the cameras, Rike nimbly manoeuvred around their lines of sight, it wasn't too hard, a bit of crouching here, using the rafters there.  Eventually, Rike arrived at the room where the Eye of Edfu is kept. "Lasers that trip alarms, and the jewels in a glass container, either they really like cliches or whoever runs this place is about as creative as a Hollywood executive" he mutter as began to jump over and under the lasers. A few minutes of cutting into the glass with a specialist knife and grabbing it before it fell. As he went to place his gloved hands over the Eye of Edfu blue beautiful diamonds and its long gold line chain, he noticed the glass container has a pressure plate within it. "Hmm gonna have to be quick about this" he mutters. In Rike's experience pressure plates give you a ten-second window before the alarm goes off. Grabbing the Eye of Edfu, making sure to leave his small calling card of a hat shaped note, Rike jumped his way up to the rafters. As the guards came running and the alarm started sounding, Rike made his way calmly through the rafters until he reaches the opened skylight, the master thief leapt through it onto the roof. With a greater smile then the one he started with, Rike made his way across the rooftops.

"O-oh, Uhm, I-I'm sure she didn't mean to..." Rosie squeaked, completely red in the face and cripplingly shy in front of the handsome man.

"A-heh, w-well, I... You know... Uhm... She's my foster sister and all... We wouldn't be siblings if there wasn't at least SOME attempted murder, you know, dude?" Cornelia bashfully remarked in response to his joke, embarrassed she almost severely hurt her foster sister in her impatience.

"Th-thank you so much for that save! If it wasn't for you, I-I would have been slammed into the wall mattress first! I-I'm Rosie, a-and this is my foster sister, Corny... Mr...?" Rosie meekly showed gratitude, and hoped her subtle attempt to catch this amazing stranger's name wasn't imposing.

"But, Jesus, broski, you came out of NO WHERE! I didn't even see you!" Corny chuckled, glad Rosie was sparing her the trouble of introducing herself to this guy...

This guy she ALREADY seemed smitten with... Hmmm...

"I'm assuming you live somewhere in this complex, right?" Corny asked, KNOWING Rosie would want to know this as well.

Corny COULD HAVE SWORN she would have seen this guy before she basically flipped the mattress... Odd...

Well, he DID save Rosie from her stupidity, so she probably SHOULDN'T be looking a gift horse in the mouth. Though, given Rosie's previous history with the men she'd liked, Corny couldn't help but be a little on guard as this "love at first sight" she apparently was going through was NEVER good and had never BEEN GOOD in the past...

For now, however, might as well try to make friends with their possible neighbor...!

"in our Company" Hotel

"Steven Christofer"

'Steven' was walking down the hall of the Hotel after a "Short Vacation". He took out a silenced MP5 from his tux pocket, checking the gun as he straightened his tux tie. He felt the side of the cold gun with his black gloves.

A smug and evil grin grew on his face.

He then checked his pockets, which held the ammo. He also straightened his wig and his glasses, making him look more like the reporter that he had killed recently. He was approaching the lobby of the Hotel, so he quickly hid the weapon in his tux, leaving the tux unbuttoned and generally a mess. Half of it was tucked into his pants while the other was a bit wrinkled and untucked.

as he entered the lobby, he was greeted by the lobby assistant, dressed in the usual Hotel uniform.

"Hello sir, you seem a bit...rushed. May I ask why you are exiting two days early-"

He was interrupted by 'Steven' who was staring up at the security cam just in the corner.

"Shut it."

He said in a serious tone.

just next to him, a lovely couple -who he could assume were waiting for something- looked up from their previous activity with a confused and almost insulted look.

He took a few glances back towards the couple, until he heard a phone ringing from the counter.

the lobby assistant took up the phone and began

"Hello- WHOA WHOA!" he exclaimed suddenly as the phone exploded into panicked yelling

"Slow down! what happened?!"

looks like the jig was up.

Steven took out his machine gun and quickly shot the cam, disabling it with a few shots to the lens. He then turned to the assistant and fired a shot into his face. At this moment, the couple screamed in terror as they attempted to run from this mad gun-man.

He turned to the fleeing customers and fired again, killing them at the door. Their corpse collided into the glass wall and crashed through it.

"Shit." Steven (Mark) mumbled under his breath, stepping through the shattered wall with an annoyed expression. He picked them up by the hair and dragged them back in.

He stepped over them and re-hid his machine gun. He then took off his wig and placed it in the same pocket as the gun. Mark knew they would look for this 'Steven' person, which made his little impersonation plan even smarter. they would only find the corpse of the reporter.

He walked down the sidewalk in a rather calm manner, coughing a few times as he turned the corner, 'vanishing from the scene as police cars approached.

all the while singing "Another one bites the dust." softly as he quickened his pace out of there.

It was a pretty sunny day at G.S.U.N, but given it was newly summertime, that was no surprise. Actually, granted everything Misty had seen at G.S.U.N, she wasn't surprised by much of anything.

Even though she'd only been working there about a year, only a few days before Nega's little neon pink sister joined the ranks of "The Halidom of Heroes", she had seen nearly every Super there was to see.

Seen and REGISTERED into the G.S.U.N database, like any good receptionist would do!

Not taking her eyes off of her computer monitor, she heard a voice introduce itself as the name of the Super meant to be Captain of G.S.U.N's next appointment: Dante Leonhart.

"Dadgum, boy! Ya purdy early fer yer appointment!" Misty complimented him, checking his appointment time on her computer and seeing he was nearly half an hour early.

Then she looked up to see the Super in question.

The first and most curious thing about this young man that caught Misty's eye was the fact he was BLINDFOLDED.

"Uhm... Wai... are ya wearing a blindfold...?" Misty asked the young man, confused.

Was this boy blind?

She hadn't remembered the last time she met a BLIND Super before... but she supposed ANYTHING WAS POSSIBLE...

The man sighed. "Maybe that would do but I have a bone to pick with these guys in particular. I'll get to taking them once I'm done." He turned to the thugs as he reached for one of his gloves and began to remove them. "So you all think I somehow got strong huh? Well consider this a surprise!" From beneath the glove there was a bright blue glow and it only got brighter the more the glove came off.

@Assailant

Max gasped. A super!

Figures that he could take on so many thugs at once then.

"So then, are you a member of G.S.U.N?" Max asked to Volt, moving up to be next to him and looking carefully at him. He didn't want to have to fight right now, especially another hero, but from the sound of it, the man was about to escalate things far more than they needed to be.

Dante was unaware that he was early for his appointment, considering how early he placed his call. "Oh... This?" Dante asks the Secretary as he points to his blindfold. "I-I wear this to protect my eyes. It's not easy being blind, you know." Dante says nervously to the Secretary as he chuckles a bit. "I just hope she doesn't think what I have is a disease, like most people think I do." He looks around to sense more people looking onto him with curiosity. "Uhh, has anyone here seen a blind person in this place before?" Dante asks the Secretary with ease as he begins to teeter back and forth.

"No I just got these a few weeks ago. And these guys were the ones behind by nearly cooking me alive from the inside out. But I'll take you to G.S.U.N once I get a free shot on the guy who shoved me into the power generator. Mind you not enough to kill him. Just enough to give him the feeling of a good shock. And let me say buddy it feels like someone has set your insides on fire." the man had his glove off revealing electricity dancing between his fingers. He was going to fire something as the electricity started gathering at his palm.

@Assailant

Max frowned. After a few moments, he shook his head. "If you're that new, there's no way you could know what does and doesn't kill someone!" Max saw the electricity arcing between his fingers. Some quick calculations showed that it was possible that would kill the man. It was hard to tell the voltage or amplitude of the electricity just by looking at it, but it was clearly possible at the very least. "Don't shoot him! We can take them in passively, they're clearly not fighting!"

@Baku

The electricity stopped as the man sighed. "Fine we'll take them to G.S.U.N unharmed. Just don't expect me to follow you in. Also what's your plan to get these guys to follow? Because I'm pretty sure that they won't just come willingly. Which means we need something to bind them so they don't run for any weapons- Hey! No sneaking off!" The man fired a warning shot barely missing the thug. The thug quickly went back with his mostly scared group. "Now what's the plan to getting them to G.S.U.N?"

@Assailant

Max thought for a moment, calculations running through his mind. He waited for a few seconds. "Well, do we need G.S.U.N? We could always just call the police and keep them here." He shook his head. "If we DO need to bring them to G.S.U.N, then I doubt we HAVE to tie them up... although admittedly that would be nice. However, they seem sufficiently scared: they would probably do what we say so as to not get hurt."

@Baku

Running along the rooftops, with the unfamiliar sight of the afternoon sun in the corner of his masked eye, Rike began to hear the all too familiar sound of police sirens. "Will this chase be better than the last" he muttered as he leapt from one rooftop to another. At first, it was only squad cars following him from the road below, disappointing, to say the least. Then the sound of chopper blades caused the escaping thief to stop for a brief second in delight. Nothing brought him more joy than to see those with power brought down, and those overweight, stuffed shirted, dought devouring, discriminating officers of the law fit the bill excellently. As the helicopter chase him, Rike reached the end of another rooftop. Dropping off the end of the rooftop, both the police in the air and ground were completely bewildering. The thief had jumped from the roof yet he hadn't hit the ground. In fact, he had held onto the underneath of the roof and had quickly shuffled his way along while the police made their way to the scene. "Better luck next time gentlemen" he mutters as he runs towards is getaway ride.

The Shaws were having a normal morning. Well, not so normal. Now that he has a day off from his job, Brad was getting himself ready to visit G.S.U.N. A while ago, he discovered that there was some sort of strange energy within him, and that energy was giving him some strange abilities, mostly in the form of enhanced strength.. Shortly since then, Brad had been doing some sort of vigilante work, finding any crooks if he could find them. But now, Brad decided to no longer go solo. Yesterday, he signed up to become an official member of G.S.U.N. Now he was going to go back here to see what he should do next as An official member of G.S.U.N.

Brad was at the table eating the breakfast his wife, Rebecca, and his three kids, their oldest son Neil, and the twins Ethan and Lucy. Neil mostly looked like his mother, having her darker skin and brown eyes. The twins had their mother's eyes as well, but otherwise took after the father.

Brad then looked up towards Reb as he was finishing the last of his pancakes. "Your really sure your fine with doing this, it could be a bit dangerous for you," Brad asked.

"Trust me, I am sure I will be fine," Rebecca said. "I may not have these magical abilities as you seem to, but I can still take care of myself. Besides, you will be getting something to mask your identity, won't you?"

"Sure, yeah, I just hope its not too cheesy," Brad said.

"I am sure it would look ok on you," Rebecca said. "At least scientists don't have to worry about getting some corny uniforms."

"Not even a polka-dotted bow-tie?"  Brad joked

"Well you must admit it is more exciting then your job," she teased back referring to his construction job.

"What you mean, it is never boring not knowing what mistake some idiot's gonna make."

"Sure."

Brad stuck the last piece of his breakfast into his mouth and got up from his chair. He then went over to where the twins were sitting at the table. "Daddy's going to be right back," he said to them playfully. "Don't give mommy a hard time, ok?" Ethan smiled with a face covered in Baby food, while Luna tried to push away her dad's face which was in the way of her meal.

"Rejected," Rebecca laughed.

"We will see who's laughing when she needs to be picked up next time," Brad said jokingly.

He walked over to Rebecca's side of the table and kissed her affectionately. "I will see you again later today," He said smiling as he went towards the door.

"Don't be gone too long," she said to him. "I want to study this Motindu again, and I am going to need another blood sample."

"Aww come one," Brad moaned as if he was a teenager again. Grabbed the keys to his truck as well as the large mystic broadsword, and then walked out  the door. He got inside his red truck, started it up, then drove off into the road.

____________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Brad arrived at the G.S.U.N hq. As he approached the building, he begins to wonder what he would be expected to do when he gets there. Then he pauses. Do they want him to be in his armor this time? He was technically a hero now after all. Deciding that he probably should, he takes his sword and taps it slightly on the ground. Blue energy radiated from the blade to Brad's arm, and then flowed to the rest of his body. When it cleared, he was now armored in The garments of his new identity of Radiant.

 When he was inside, he sees the same manager a the desk of G.S.U.N. as he did yesterday. What was her name....Misty, oh right.

"Excuse me ma'am," Brad said to her, "I joined G.S.U.N yesterday, and I am wondering what I should do here now.."

Ken Asters

Location: Roads of LA

It was the start of a fresh new day for Ken who had just moved in very recently. In fact his move-in was yesterday and he surprisingly didn't have much of a culture shock when he came from Japan to America. While it may have been a more temporary stay, Ken was already focused on driving.

On one of the highways of LA, there was a white Toyota MR2 driving down fast yet smoothly. As the Toyota MR2 was heading down the fast lanes, Ken would be within the car as he thought about what he had heard of in LA. There were villains and heroes about yet he didn't see any... yet. He would look at his left arm to see his bracer before looking back to the road as he gripped the steering wheel.

He would come within a mountain road area as he would then continue on driving. It was a good thing that there weren't many people so he didn't have to worry too much. He would come towards a very steep corner and preferred a continuous drift past corner after corner until he drove straightforwardly back onto the road. After the mountain pass, Ken would be back on his way towards his apartment complex. Currently he would still be on one of the highways again as he went within the first lane which usually was for cars that go within higher speeds. Then he would approach the city streets as he would have to slow down. From there he would enter within a smooth driving entry towards one of the streets.

"OK how does this sound? We take these guys to the police station, Start making our way to G.S.U.N than I leave you with Credit for catching all of these guys. Or are you the humble type?" The man still had his exposed hand aimed at the others making sure they had no means to move as him and the kid talked out how this would play out.

@Assailant

Max frowned. "I don't need credit. Besides, two supers escorting them is more efficient than one, and it's safer too. I'd prefer if you stuck around."

@Baku

"OK then. Now you all are coming with us to the police station! And when you are about to be sent to your cells thank the kid that you aren't as badly hurt as you are now." The man looked to Max explaining. "I got the back you got the front. If they try and run behind it's best I'm there waiting. And if they rush forward both you and me could put a stop to them. Now I will respect your wishes and not use any odd movements to attack them. I will only attack if they truly and honestly try and run. Now let's get a move on before they get any ideas." The thugs grumbled as the man moved behind them and had his bare hand aimed at them. Not too different from holding people at gunpoint.

@Assailant

Max nodded and smiled at the man. He didn't understand why they were bringing the criminals to G.S.U.N, but he supposed it was fine. It was where he wanted to go, anyway, so he might as well take the opportunity. He stood in front of them an carefully listened for any movements that would be out of place: footsteps growing louder or softer or quicker... anything that could indicate they were making a move on one of them. With that, he began to move forward. He worked on isolating the mind of the super in back... with this many people, compounded upon those that were simply ambling about in the public, it took a moment or two for him to lock on to the mental signature of the man. He did, however, and he was determined to know more about him.

The man certainly didn't seem like a bad person, he didn't need mind reading to know that, he just seemed somewhat misguided. He wanted to do the right thing, but Max felt that the super didn't know how to go about it. He'd seen many make that mistake before.

"What's your name?" He telepathically asked the electric super. "I don't believe I ever caught it."
