Dead account
Lee City

Lee City, a place of heros and villains. The City is well known for having many people with special gifts residing within it, given it's free spirited attitude towards the super powered. The city itself is a very typical large city, with skyscrapers that light up the sky all throughout the night, often to the point where one can't see the stars over it. The clearness of the stars tonight however was a rare occurrence for the city, and so was the gathering about to happen. For outside of one of these skyscrapers tagged with a knock-off Apple logo (The bite in the apple is more jagged and goes farther into the apple, with a single dot in the middle.) graffiti'd onto the side of it. It had a 'recently sold' sign in front of it.
Who had bought this building?

Most normal people didn't know, nor did they particularly care. For even in the middle of the night, it was fairly normal for gatherings of people within buildings in Lee City. Within this building, a former apartment complex, it seemed very dusty. As though no one had set foot within the building for quite some time. This look extended to the stairs and elevator that led higher up into the building. On the address that had been sent out to all those interested, it had said to meet on the top floor. The buttons on the elevator didn't exactly work on any other floor as of yet, nor did the doors in the stairwell open to any other floor. The only way for the former heros was up.

On the top floor looked to be some sort of penthouse suite that had been turned into some sort of meeting room. There was a large sleek glass table sitting in the middle of the room with several chairs pushed under it. The entire wall opposite of the elevator and stairwell exit was made only of glass. Standing in front of this glass was a figure cloaked in a dark coat staring out of it. He seemed to have been the first one to have arrived before the rest of the invited villains. The rest of the walls were a light cream color, not entirely unpleasing to the eye but nothing too special. The entire room just looked like a very plain meeting room, not the sort of room villains would meet up in to 'ruin the world' as it were. Yet, that was the entire purpose for being called to such a place.

Ezra looked down at the sheet of paper with the address he was supposed to be at scribbled down on it. Could this actually be the building he was supposed to be at? He'd been expecting... He wasn't sure what he'd been expecting, but not a skyscraper. A sigh escaped the short man, he wasn't even sure why he was doing this, but here he stood. He could still turn back if he wanted he supposed, the note hadn't had any threats on it stating that he'd be hurt or killed if he didn't decide to become a villain, but his feet carried him into the front door. He didn't want to turn back, his desire to remain a hero had died long ago and he'd only occasionally worked out of obligation.

Blue eyes moved from the stairway to the elevator as he entered the lobby. He was supposed to go to the top floor, which was a long walk in a building as tall as this, but he wasn't sure he trusted the elevator in a building that looked like nobody had gone in for years. No, he definitely didn't want to risk getting trapped in an elevator, that would be a struggle for him to escape even with his powers. Too thick. He'd stick to walking. He shoved his hands in his pockets as he approached the stairwell door, shoving the metal door open without touching it. He didn't want that dust on his nice clothes, he wasn't touching it.

He didn't pay attention to the amount of time it took him to ascend the staits, but he knew that he'd gone through several pieces of the hard candy he carried in his pockets by the time he got to the top floor, and that the doors to any lower floors had seemed to be locked. He'd left those in place, but by the time he got to the top he was annoyed with all the damn locked doors and just glared at the door in front of him for a moment. It was probably unlocked, considering it was the room he was supposed to go to, but he was so damn annoyed by all the locked doors. It was hardly any effort for Ezra to blow out the hinges, causing a loud, echoing bang, and fling it forward. Punishment for it's brother's crossing him.

"Hello~! Anybody in here?" He instantly assumed his normal persona and cheerfully skipped into the room and over the door he'd just unhinged. A bright grin appeared on his face when he saw the man sitting in the room, a man dressed in full black, and he energetically waved his arm at him. "Heya, I'm Ezra!"

Arsene Lupin - The Gentleman Thief - Necromantic Necromantic

Arsene had arrived earlier then the fallen heros whom he'd written for. He'd known they'd show up, now it was only a game of waiting for them to arrive. He'd recently bought out this building for the purposes of being their new evil headquarters, though it needed some TLC it was quite large and rather inconspicuous. Perfect hiding spot for villainy, a business building. He'd of course have to clean everything up- or maybe pawn it off on them. Probably pawn it off on them if he were lucky. Setting everything up on the top floor was exhausting enough as well as he'd been the one to gather them all. Surely he could be allowed some lenience when it came to cleaning everything?

He pondered if anyone would even bother doing any cleaning in their headquarters while staring out the window. The city was truly beautiful at night, it'd be even more beautiful with smoke billowing from every rooftop and screams echoing through the streets but those would come soon. Peace was nice sometimes, it was a good before picture for what needed to be destroyed. Speaking of destruction-
BANG!
And out went the stairwell door to the top floor! Arsene immediately turned around to see who'd done this to see a small man with bright pink hair. It was adorable. No, not simply adorable, perfect. This was the sort of thing Arsene had wanted all along when he'd decided to form this group of villains. He'd knew he'd gotten some good people, but he hadn't know he'd picked someone so perfect as to blow in the door as soon as they walked in. "How wonderful~!" Arsene found himself exclaiming as he came up to the small man, attempting to swiftly pick them up "Stealing your heart the same as you've stolen mine shall be my greatest heist yet." He grinned widely, forgetting to introduce himself.

Jared hummed to himself as he closed his phone and switched it for the address on a piece of paper. He was intrigued when he saw it before - an invitation of sorts. To what exactly, he didn't rightly know. But really, he was just bored and looking for some action and unfortunately, Daniela doesn't allow him to beat up the people who mess around in the bar. It was a real bummer and he needed to let out some steam somehow so when something of interest like this address came to him for some villain crap, he was more than happy to take it up. Hopefully there's some money involved because he needed something to appease Daniela.

He fastened the silver mask onto his face, figuring he should at least make some form of effort to hide who he is - bad for business when you're a villain after all. Jared pushed his hands into the pockets of his trenchcoat and entered the seemingly abandoned building. And just as the exterior looked, the interior was just as bad. He let out a light laugh as he kicked up some dust. He scanned the elevator and after a few moments deduced that it probably wouldn't work. Piece of shit would probably break down as soon as it started moving. Would be funny though, won't be the first time something was sent hurtling to crush him but that was a story for another day.

Jared turned to the staircase and let out a sigh. See, this is why he wanted the power of flight or teleportation because at least that way, he wouldn't have to walk. But well, oh well, sometimes you're just unlucky. He began to walk and boy it was just as agonizing as he thought it would be. He was tempted to turn back but he was already halfway there, might as well finish it. He had checked all the doors and found that they were locked. "Hah, this reminds me of a linear video game forcing you to not explore." He laughed to himself at the thought because he was pretty sure that it was the intention. People were naturally curious and he, himself, would be more inclined to explore for a bit before heading to the meeting place.

Arriving at the top floor, he was not expecting to see the door off its hinges... wherever the door is now. Huh. He quickly made his way through - jabbing his thumb at the back and turning to the two present. "I'm no interior designer but I'm not sure no doors is a good idea." He said with a hum and then a laugh as his eyes landed on the piece of missing furniture that blocked the meeting room from the inside. "Huh, there it is." He continued, a wide grin on his face - not that it would be seen. Looked like this wasn't going to be a boring team after all. That was good. The last thing he wanted was getting bored on the job.

Jared paused as he now had the attention to actually scrutinize the two and their position. He stopped and then shook his head. "Well if you guys need your privacy, I can go out." He said with a shrug before turning to the doorless frame. "Not that it will help much but it's the thought that counts." Not that he was uncomfortable with being the third person in the room when the other two were flirting but he felt like he was intruding somehow.

As he walked a sense of doubt began to crowd Rin's, he'd only been on the scene of villainy for two months now. Surprisingly someone had reached out to him between his 'hero' days and the time he swore it off. Off-putting in all honesty, the whole idea seemed like a scheme or some plan to nab him before he turned into something horrifying, at this point he was nearly four blocks away from the meeting location. The white jacket he wore stuck out barely at all in the darkness, surprising honestly, so he took the liberty of ducking into a side alley and reaching into the coat. A icy blue half-mask was produced from beneath the clothing and adorned by the man as he continued to walk. Each step closer and he tore away at the anxiety which nipped at his mind, if he didn't continue then what would be the point in even checking this place out?

Around a block and a half away he made note of another person entering the building and shiftily looked around. His intent was to find any sort of lookout or outer guards for the area, typically people would be posted around so they could apprehend the subject but it seemed fairly clear as of now. The outfit currently worn wasn't that of his usual costume... but it would suffice for a simple meeting. "If it's an ambush... just kill them" He muttered to himself, the mask helping to muffle it into little more than a whisper. With that he entered the building, despite how dimly lit it appeared the dust cascading down immediately caught his eyes and a scoff was earned as he delved deeper in. Footsteps and the arc of the door marked the difference between where people had and hadn't been, glancing up he made note of the light which appeared to be caked in dust like the rest of this abandoned facility.

"Would it have killed them to at least clean up the place first?" He spoke faintly as his eyes surveyed the area once more, any obvious traps or out of place things. The stairwell was open and the elevator looked... well about as someone would expect from an unmaintained locale. Deciding now that his best bet would be the stairs he took it, ascending higher and higher with each few moments of walking, had he not been on the track team in high school this could more than likely make someone loose their breath. Eventually he made his way to the door- way, why the owner hadn't bothered to install a door was beyond him... a touch lazy if you were trying to recruit villains.

Stepping forwards he made his way through the doorway and consequently sliding by another person upon his entrance. Pausing by one of the walls of the room he surveyed it again, orbs of blue crossing over everything and everyone. Three other men, and a surprisingly cleaner room, a table with multiple chairs, and the missing door. He'd entered in time to hear the tail end of the blonde male's comment, "We were invited here so this must be part of the show." he said before looking between the three once more. "So I take it one of you two is this Gentleman Thief?" He prompted to the two who seemed to be... mildly touchy.

Mamoru looked around at the building's interior as he entered, not really knowing what he expected the meeting place to look like. At the moment it reminded him of an upgrade from a cliche abandoned building. He adjusted his half mask, a simple navy blue thing that covered everything from his nose to his forehead with white fabric over the eyes. The adult didn't need strangers, who were villains, see his face yet. He moved to look at the elevator noting how it didn't look quite safe and decided that the stairs would be the best option, he never liked elevators anyway.
The brunette pulled out his phone as he ascended the staircase, the ever-present worry for his kids outweighing his curiosity to check out the other doors. He texted their current babysitter, once he received an all clear he let out a sigh of relief.

Mamoru Pocketed his phone, feeling his nerves spike as he got closer to the doorless door frame. He's never been good with people, but the offer seemed too tempting to not come. With a sigh of annoyance, he made it all the way to the doorframes entrance. Picking up the door frame as he maneuvered around the other person to chuck it out of the way before entering and quickly walking to the only free wall nearby

, “What?” he whispered to no one in particular when he saw what was happening in front of him. Instinctively, Mamoru's hands came up to pull his scarf up, in hopes of hiding the blush he grew from seeing PDA so unexpectantly, deciding to look around the room instead.

To his dismay, it looked just like the rest of the building, dusty and basic. Though this room seemed to have more equipment. Without any more distractions, the brunette began to fiddle with the scarf around his neck as he looked back at the duo in the middle of the room, this time not blushing.

"How wonderful"? Had Ezra managed to impress the man that... Looked more like he should've been the broody type than what he was hearing? Destroying the first thing that got in his way- Ah, well, considering what he'd come here for, he wasn't that surprised that this man would be impressed by what he'd done. It was a bit of a cliche, but not the most offensive one that Ezra could think of. Maybe it would've been more exciting to try crashing in through the window, but that might actually kill-

Wait why the Hell was this eccentric man getting closer to him?! His hands were getting far too close!

Ezra clamped a hand around one of the taller man's wrist's, ready to shatter the bones if he tried anything. His grip fell away when he felt himself get lifted into the air as if this man was trying to reenact the beginning on The Lion King. This was a familiar feeling, when had he last been picked up like this? His younger brother was fond of picking him up to call him "The Cutest Big Brother Ever" before hugging him so tightly he thought his bones might just snap. Alice had been tall, nearing 6' in height- His brain scrubbed past the details on how she used to dote on him, allowing him to momentarily forget that he'd never met this man before so that he could just enjoy the moment. He laughed happily, his hands gently laying on the shoulders of the man holding him.

Ah, how nice it was to get lost in the moment.

"Steal my heart?" Ezra repeated after him. So he'd gained another admirer, though this time not for his "cute hero" theme. Had it been him ripping the door off the wall or being adorable in general that caught this man's attention? Perhaps it was a combination of both that caused him to say that Ezra had stolen his heart? It wasn't the first confession he'd ever gotten from a stranger, the superhero business made him mildly famous. With plenty of his pictures is magazines, he had developed a good following of fans. He had every doubt that this man was confessing to him because he was just another fanboy.

Ezra turned his head for a moment when he heard a voice behind him, bright blue eyes landing on a handsome blond man. So it seemed somebody had come in behind him- oh, and a few more were coming in. He thought a couple of their faces looked familiar, like he'd seen them on television or something, but the kid with the scarf was a complete mystery to him. "Hihi~! I'm Ezra!" He grinned brightly at the three who had entered behind him. Must've been his new... Coworkers? Not working alone, that seemed really nice. He missed having company.

His head turned back to the man holding him in the air... Was this guy actually The Phantom Thief? He had been the first person in the room, so that seemed to be the obvious conclusion. "... Stealing my heart will be quite the heist. It already belongs to somebody else, after all. She doesn't... need it anymore, though," Ezra's expression softened as he spoke, his voice cracking a bit at the end. If this man was serious, he'd be in for a hard time, because Ezra wasn't sure he was ready to allow somebody else into his heart, even if they had an attractive face.

The hand mirror revealed a bitter sweet dream. Aretta stood rigidly, inspecting every details of her costume. No torn. The colour was vibrant. The black goggles hid her eyes and the cloak was finally long enough to hide her shoulders. She also managed to get a face mask often used by motorcyclist to cover her nose and mouth. The costume was prepared for her debut as a full time superhero. Aretta never thought she would use it for her villain identity.

Footsteps. Aretta looked out of the alleyway. Another person went into the apartment. That should be the second one since she arrived. She had feared the invitation was a trap, but seeing that others have also entered the building, it didn't seem so. Taking a deep breath, Aretta made her way into the building.

The building, from the condition of the floor and furniture, hadn't been cleaned for a long time. The thick layer of dust was visible to the eyes. A more careful search would reveal disturbance at the fine layer. Footprints of several different people was visible to Aretta. Four of them to be exact. Two people must had entered before she arrived. One similarity between all footprints, they all headed to the stairs. Was there something wrong with the elevator? Aretta went in and started to push the buttons. None worked. The elevator door went to a close when she pressed the top floor button, but she hastily opened it again. It seemed she only could reach the top floor with the elevator.

What about the stairs?

Aretta, following those who came before her, climbed the stairs. She was careful to walk on the steps of those that came before her as not to disturb the dust. The doors to other floors were inaccessible. Aretta climbed the stairs to the top floor inspecting that. The top floor, like many apartment buildings, was one spacious room intended for a penthouse. Contrary to the number of footprints, there were five people in the room. A young man wearing no mask with vibrant pink hair, a tall man wearing a blank white mask, a young man wearing a navy half mask, and another man wearing eye mask. The man with no mask stood out from the rest.

"I hope I am not too late?" said Aretta through her face mask. Her eyes behind the black goggle darted between everyone there, cautious against sudden movement.

Someone else entered right after him and he had stepped aside so that he wouldn't be blocking the entrance. He inclined his head towards the new arrival. Unlike the pink haired one, he seemed to share the sentiment of hiding their real identities. Jared was glad - he wasn't sure if he would be forced to take off his mask if everyone came here with their civilian identities. Then again, they needed everything to be confidential - yes? The more eccentric of the two seemed to value his own identity thanks to the eye mask he was wearing. Honestly, this was feeling more and more like a masquerade and it made him think back to one of those events where heroes had gathered. It was incredibly familiar - irritatingly so.

"Yeah, I guess." Jared replied to the male who had entered after him but kept his eyes on the two. Right, one of them should be the Gentleman Thief - the one who had invited him and everyone else, he assumed, to this abandoned building. It wasn't that bad of a hideout but he preferred if it looked more cozy and less... decrepit. Then again, if they were only just starting out, this was already well on its way to becoming a decent one. He quickly shook his head to get the thoughts of renovating the building out of his head. He hadn't even known what they would do and he was already thinking of it. Hah, he may just be too used to a homey feel to wherever he is invited.

Jared had barely noticed the scarfed man that had slipped into the room since his eyes were glued to the pair. Had they known each other? Considering how the man just picked up the pink haired one - Ezra he soon found out - and just lifted him seemed to point to them knowing each other. But the look of shock that he saw Ezra hold pointed to otherwise. He wasn't a stranger to touchy people. Cassie had been one even when they were still friends. But physically picking someone up when you just first met them seemed a bit too much. Nevertheless, he let it slide since Ezra doesn't seem to mind all that much. In fact, he looked perfectly comfortable with it.

"Ezra huh? Name's Hunter, forgive me if I don't want to give out my real name yet." He said in reply to the lifted male. Jared paused, however, as he got a good look on the guy. He was sure he's seen him before - an ex-hero too. He can remember his face plastered in various magazines - hard to forget a face like that - and was in fact a hero. He can't just seem to grasp the superhero name he had. Maybe he'd talk to him afterwards to ask how he's been. It was always nice to see other heroes who have succumbed to doing what they want and not care for the general populace. Though he wondered if he'd be open to talking about it. He knew plenty who never wanted to turn back ever again and just keep looking forward. In fact, he knew one particular person who he has kept in contact with in civilian life who never wanted to talk about it.

Another one came in and he looked towards her. "Nah, we're just waiting around for it to start." He replied with a wave of his hand before settling it back into his pockets. "Maybe we're waiting on other people to come too." He continued unsurely as his eyes darted back to the pair who had arrived earlier than him.

For a moment, Aretta just stood there and stared. It was quite awkward, as she didn't know anyone there. She couldn't bring herself to make small talk, too. Small talk was Adrian's forte. Her face under the cloak darkened when her twin's face passed her mind. Just last week, he had formed a superhero group specialised in disaster and accident help called First Aid Hit. That was the last straw that made her accepted the invitation.

She moved away from the entrance toward the glass wall, but a voice halted her in her steps. Aretta turned her head to the source of the voice, the man wearing a full white mask. There was something tickling her memory when she heard his voice. The longer she observed him, the stronger was the familiar feeling she had. The way he talked. The phrasings of his words. His pony tail hairstyle. In a cafe, with a different mask... She needed to make sure of her guess. Aretta approached the white mask. Her heart was still clouded with doubt, but eventually, her suspicion and curiosity won.

She leaned closer to his right ears, uttering her words with barely a whisper.

"Hi, Jared...?"

Jared was a superhero specialised in defending people. Aretta, as Safeguard, often met him in a cafe after evacuating people out of the aftermath of a fight between villains and superheroes. They had long known each other name, due to an embarassing incident where they both picked the same abandoned building to don their mask. They rarely talked about superhero related subject when they were together, but she always had fun talking with him.

Arsene Lupin - The Gentleman Thief - AI10100 AI10100 Necromantic Necromantic Entity.Eclypse Entity.Eclypse SheepOfSmall SheepOfSmall Damafaud Damafaud

Arsene smiled as Ezra eased into being picked up, it seemed this one would truly be his greatest heist yet. He was truly quite adorable, especially with that cute little laugh of his. He was honestly tempted to flat out abandon this entire villain gathering thing to kidnap the small male. Yet, as he pondered the idea more and more of the invited villains began to enter the top floor. It wasn't like he could even take the other anywhere, his previous hideout had gone out in extraordinary fashion. Having been blown up while a hero was searching for him. The smell of blood and ash would forever be ingrained in Arsene's memory as one of the happier days of his life. Still, it left Arsene without a place to go other then this building.

Arsene had always been one for reckless and seemingly rash decisions. He'd thought up this entire plan during a fever dream one night while he was recovering from a nasty cold. That was how most of his jobs started really, as mere twisted fantasies he couldn't help but desire to pursue and without any outside voice to slap his hands away or to tell him 'no', he was free to do so to his heart's content. And Arsene's heart was never content. It would only become so with complete destruction of it all, or something of the sort. So he'd spent weeks, or months on end planning and perfecting every aspect of his insane jobs and heists until the day when he could finally execute his plan to spreading misery to all everything the shade touched. Now he was gathering a team to help with those jobs, to up the scale even higher to what he was used to.

He quickly shook those thoughts away as he decided to respond to the other members inquiries. He was supposed to be the 'leader' now after all, and such a title was exciting. Having a team to spread the seeds of chaos to this world was something to be celebrated. He put down Ezra before answering in order of hearing the questions, "We needn't the privacy, I was simply enamored is all. This one is one of the seven wonders of this world." He gestured to Ezra as 'Hunter' turned around, soon came in the next villain asking about who the Gentleman Thief was of the two. "Why of course, that would be me." Arsene Lupin bowed in greeting, "It is nice to meet you, my dear harbingers." He then followed the only female with "Worry not, we are still waiting for another member. She should be arriving shortly. In the meantime, do bond with one another with tales of woe and whatever else you may think of. We are to be working together after all."

Now that he was done dealing with the generalities of the team, he turned back to the cute pink one. "I've always enjoyed a good challenge, darling." He smirked as he started wondering what sort of tools he'd need for this heist. Of course, he'd have to spend a while longer scoping out the scene. Pulling two heists at once- Arsene had never done that before, and he was excited to start. Arsene knew no one needed Ezra's heart any longer full well, which was what made it such a prime target to steal. After all- who would care if such a thing was stolen? Why play dumb to such a fact if you've been preparing for this meet-up for months? If you've known them all, very well, for quite some time? Of course, Arsene wouldn't actively say anything to his disadvantage. He knew full well his stalker-like behavior was typically not seen as an advantage, and though he would take it as sign of his dedication he knew others likely wouldn't. That was fine, so long as he came out with the prize at the end of it all it didn't matter the methods.

Evalynn Hill-Knox
Evalynn glanced down at the address once more before looking up at the skyscraper. She’d seen this building before and it had basically been in no one’ possession for a while. Years, maybe? Eva walked toward the doors to enter. The outside of the building looked okay in her opinion, but it was the inside of the building that had put Eva off. The interior was extremely dusty and grungy looking, evidence of no one occupying the building for a long time. She had seen the ‘recently sold’ sign outside the building and thought who would have bought this piece of crap of a building.

She started walking through the lobby over to the elevator but before she got close enough, she looked down and saw the footprints of those before her leading to the stairwell door. She thought for a moment that it would probably be in her best interest to take the stairs as well. The elevator probably didn’t even work and if she tried going up on it, the end result wouldn’t be pretty. She made her way to the door that led to the stairwell, grimacing at how dusty the door was as well even though others had come through the door. Evalynn focused on the handle of the door for a quick second as she walked toward it and the door opened by itself, wide enough to let her go through without having any part of her body touching the door. She walked up the stairs, mumbling to herself in annoyance why the meeting had to be at the topmost floor in what seemed to look like an abandoned building. She kept her arms close to her sides as she walked up, definitely not wanting to even lay a finger on the walls for support or balance. Even the walls seemed to be dusty. Evalynn tried to pick up her pace, knowing that she was probably late as she didn’t have the best sense of time.

Once she reached the highest floor, she noticed the door was completely off its hinges. She raised an eyebrow but shrugged it off. Before she reached the landing, she pulled up her mask that only covered the bottom half of her face so only her eyes could be seen. She stuffed her hands into the pockets of her military camo jacket. Tonight she was only wearing this, a favorite jacket of hers, with a simple, dark tank top underneath and a pair of black jeans with many rips and tears along the legs. Half of her wavy hair was pulled up into a messy bun while the bottom half was out, so her hair could be out of her face as it did get annoying most of the time. She really didn’t have a costume as a villain yet as she couldn’t decide on anything and she had only been one for a few months, so she was relatively new to the whole game. When she received the letter from this Gentleman Thief, though skeptical at first, Eva saw this as a big opportunity for herself.

Evalynn walked in to what seemed to be a suite that had a glass meeting table in the middle. She noticed the group of people that had all already arrived before her. “Yep, I’m late” she mumbled quietly to herself with a sigh then she walked in. She couldn’t help the small smile that formed behind her mask. The group already looked interesting. “Sorry I’m late” she called out as she joined everyone else. She eyed everyone in the group and noticed how almost everyone else wanted to hide their identity as well by covering their faces with masks. She probably wouldn't recognize any of them without a mask on anyway. “Hope the meeting didn’t start without me?”

Jared was expecting to run into someone he knows while he was being all villainy and all. Zoey definitely knew about it and has gone on some bounty missions with him just to let out steam. Basic stuff really. But aside from her, he never thought he'd hear his name ever be uttered while he had his mask on. So you can understand when someone whispered his name next to him and he jumped, hand covering itself with the metal in his body. "Who the fuck-" Jared had jerked his hand out of his pocket but managed to stop himself from slamming it against the offender when his brain registered the voice so his hand hung limply in front of him. "Aretta?" He whispered back, more in disbelief than anything.

He had stepped to the side to look at her properly. He definitely did not recognize her through sight - since she had a different costume on. Not only that, but she was wearing her hair differently and he couldn't see her face thanks to the goggles and mask. So really, he wouldn't have known if she hadn't directly spoken to him and said his name. Jared had always been appreciative of her both pre and post herofall. She had been mindful enough to keep his identity a secret before when they accidentally discovered each other's secret identity because the stars lined up perfectly and fate brought them to the same building to go into hero mode. It was embarrassing but something he remembered fondly. And afterwards, she was one of the people he had contacted to let them know that he was, in fact, alive and well and not dead and six feet under.

"Ah, sorry. You spooked me a bit there." Jared let out a sigh as he relaxed - the metal giving way to skin again and he let his arm hang loosely to his side. "I-ah... I didn't expect you to be into the whole villain thing." He continued with a light chuckle as he gestured around them. And really, the soft-spoken supportive hero was the last person he thought would emerge as a villain. He knew that she stopped being a part-time hero but he thought she would stick with just archaeology. He didn't peg her the type to want to break the rules and go against everything they had stood up for in a time long past. It came as a shock, sure, but he guessed that each of them had their own reasons for being here. Though she couldn't see it, he had an excited grin on his face. "Well, I still look forward to working with you again..." He trailed off with a questioning end - silently asking her for what he should call her. He doubted she wanted for him to call her by his real name just as he would prefer to be called Hunter instead of Jared. Not yet, at least.

He had to know if he trusted these guys enough.

"Hm~" Jared turned his attention back to the pair from earlier once the masked man started speaking. So he was going to be their leader. What an eccentric person. "Seems the boss has a way with words." He hummed out. It would truly seem like there was something that was going to be more interesting than just the missions. And if they were going to be a team for a long while, then at least it wouldn't be stiff or boring. He would have new subjects to tease too - and who knows, maybe they're more amusing drunk and out of their minds. Oh, he was looking forward to that particular event. He should start saving up.

He turned to the guy with the icy half mask and Aretta. "Well then, it would seem that our esteemed leader-" He took another look at the Gentleman Thief, as if he was unsure about the words he had uttered to describe him before looking back at the two. "Wants us all to get acquainted. Better to know your allies than just being thrown into a mission and have to work together without knowing powers." It made sense. He wanted to start out with the people near to him - which was the two of them. Jared would have plenty of time to get to know the others. For now, he should focus his energy on them. Nevertheless, Jared took the extendable metal bo staff he had and then mimicked its properties - his arm turning into the same metal as the staff did and he pulled back his sleeve for them to see. "So, that's my power. Mimicry. Pretty basic, not that cool but it's what I got." He said jovially before pushing his sleeves down again and then hooking his staff to its holster.

Before he could ask them of their respective powers, someone else had entered. "Nah. You're good." He waved dismissively towards the room where they were all doing their own thing. He turned back to the door. Would Zoey be coming? He didn't remember if she got the invitation or not but it seemed highly likely that she would considering everything. He hoped she would come soon or else she might miss the mission briefing and he'd have to explain.

Hunter, huh? That was a pretty cool pseudonym, though Ezra would've thought it was his real name had he not directly said that it wasn't. 'Hunter' was a pretty common name, after all. "Oh, I get it, I get it! My hero name was just a mouthful, and it doesn't make much of a difference if it's just my first name~! Oh, also, I could be lying for all you know, so I'm not too awfully worried!" The giggle he added to the end of the sentence didn't change the serious nature of the latter part of his statement. He wasn't lying about his name, but he had no problem telling everyone in the room a straightfaced lie if he thought it would benefit him. He didn't even object to telling them he could be lying.

Ezra pulled his jacket sleeves up when he was set back on the floor, then straightened his shirt where they'd both been pulled out of place when he was hoisted into the air. The comment about him being one of the 'Seven Wonders of the World'. Well, that was a compliment he'd never gotten before, he kind of liked it. Someone who thought he was special enough to be one of the Seven Wonders, this eccentric man may have a chance yet of winning him over, but he wouldn't put too much stock into that. He wasn't looking for love, and one compliment wouldn't change that.

He took a better look at everyone who had come in after him. It looked like they were all wearing masks, where he had chosen to come without one. To be fair, he was pretty sure they were all established villains, whereas he had only retired from heroism within the last couple months. The closest he'd gotten to true villainy was throwing the last few of his rescues to leave people to die and the very last one, where he'd personally killed the hostage. He'd had every chance to save her, he could put on a business face around women when he was working, but he'd snapped when he heard her start talking about how she had family waiting for her. A husband, children. With a gun he'd picked up earlier in the day, he put several bullets in her arms, legs, anywhere without a vital in it, before emptying the rest of the clip into her skull. He'd claimed he found her dead and retired from heroism the next day.

"Oh, oh, if you want to know who I was, I used to be Or la Glace! Hm, I don't have a mask with me, but... I have I hood!" He flipped his hood over his head with a giggle, ""There, now I'm wearing a disguise, too!" He cheerfully stated as he walked closer to the others, bouncing on his heels as he stopped beside Hunter. This side of him... Seemed as far from the woman in the room as possible. He had nothing against chicks, they just scared the absolute hell out of him. His eyes lit up when Hunter demonstrated his powers. That was so cool, his hand became metal! Did that mean it would be possible for him to reshape his hand? Oh, he wanted to try, but he would... Wait. He would wait and ask the blond for permission before doing something that could potentially hurt him, this man was his coworker now. It would be a bad idea to just force him into something that could potentially be torture.

Ezra grasped Hunter's hand with both of his hands. "Mimicry is a super cool power! I wish I could do that, I could give myself stuffed animal paws!" He exclaimed happily, his mere bouncing having turned into him hopping in place. Perhaps a... poor plan, really, but he thought he would look absolutely even cuter than he already was if he could have teddybear paws for hands. He stopped for a moment when he saw somebody else walk in, this time another woman. He just stood there, frozen, before he looked away from her. "Oh, oh, I wanna show you mine next! Or, uhm, one of them! Don't be nervous!" His words were hurried as he tried to find a distraction, but his tone no less jovial.

He kept one hand clamped around one of Hunter's wrists, his tighter grip making it clear that he meant to keep the man from pulling away from him though not so tight that he would leave bruises, and ducked down a bit to wrap the arm closest to the tall blond around the backs of his knees. "I won't drop ya~!" Ezra chimed as he hoisted the blond up. He hoped Hunter would go with this, not panic, and end up falling back so that he sat on his shoulder. If he didn't, well, that was why the short man had kept a grip around one of his wrists- To steady him. If that failed, he was pretty sure that the worst that could happen was he'd pull his shoulder out of place... Which he could fix!

Fashionably late, now that was just a load of bullshit, you either arrived on time or had to make excuses why you didn't manage to stick to a simple schedule, and boy, Zoe was not someone who liked apologizing.

"Hey, sorry for flattening that apartment store over there, I was thrown into it by some douchebag villain with super strength. If anything you should go pester him for an apology, I was just the bloody missile, man!" Was by far the only time she remembered actually having to excuse herself for one of her not too stellar performances, and even then the only reason she actually still held on to that memory was because it was linked to a rather excessive display of destructive force between her and another superpowered individual.

But now, shit, that was something else entirely, no grande threat to bang her head at, no idiot keeping her busy, hell, not even the traffic was anything to write home about, so frankly, there was no actual reason for her being late.

But that's why she had thrown her ridiculous hero costume into the trash bin; having to always follow other people's calls, and having to attend some meeting she did not know would even be anywhere near worth her time was very high on the list of things she had to kick herself in her metal-plated ass to actually not miss entirely.

Stopping her vehicle, an ancient harley davidson model that for some godforsaken reason she had bothered fixing up for herself, Zoe would glare up the seemingly abandoned skyscraper, raising her rust-colored gaze as she'd feel the corners of her mouth twitch into an annoyed frown.

"Damn, couldn't have picked anywhere nicer for this, eh?" The metalhead muttered under her breath she'd prop up her bike by the wall, spinning her keys between two fingers as she'd enter the building, glancing around and feeling the slightest hint of regret for even having gotten out of bed for such a meeting once she realized that the bloody elevator wasn't even working.

"Five minutes late's turning out to become half an hour." Zoe would groan as she looked for the staircase, making her way up with heavy, long and actually quite fast, steps as she ferried her form upwards, heading for the penthouse.

"Hope it's bloody worth it."
Flicking an iron supplement into her open mouth, Zoe would finally arrive at the last step as she'd tilt her head to the side, a dry, metallic sound echoing through the staircase as she'd feel her powers manifesting once again.

Some supers wore fancy costumes with hilariously over-the top masks.
Zoe could not be F***ed to get herself one herself.

Instead she'd feel the familiar tingle of iron starting to seep out of her skin to meld into the very protective shell that had gotten her so much bad rep when working for the "good" guys; organic metal fusing with her body to finally result in her being encased from head to toe in what was almost as indestructible as Zoe's own ego.

The mask finally forming on her face, a grim visage with jagged jaw and what looked like a constant frown, her spiky mohawk bursting out from the top of her head like a volcanic rupture, Zoe would arrive in front of an open door, finding at least one familiar face.

"Hey Jared, still sore from last week?" Zoe would muse with a soft chuckle, her metallic visor giving it an eerily hollow echo as her rusty red eyes wandered around the room.

"I would say that I'm sorry for being late, but that'd be a lie. Hope we can change that though." The Metalmorph would add as she'd let her gaze wander over the assembled villains, leaning against the doorframe as she'd raise an eyebrow at them...all underneath a plating of thick metal.

Mamoru looked at their supposed leader quietly examining him. He seemed like an eccentric, from what he had gathered. Seemed fitting for the idea he had to bring together villains you were either incredibly cold in smart, or crazy enough to think it could work. Of course groups appear all the time, usually, they are bound over a much more stricter idea. Not that he should be judging, he did come after all to be a part of the very vague idea bound group.

He continued to think about their odd group until another person, hunter, began to talk about his thoughts on their Leader, which Mamoru agreed with. Also watching in intrigue when Hunter had decided to explain his power. He couldn’t help but clap his hands a bit when he showed his ability. The Brunette decided that it was a strong ability to have. As Mamoru began to look around the room again he saw someone else enter the room, like the rest he watched her until someone else spoke and his eyes landed on them, first it was Hunter, then Erza. Mamoru listened as the two of them spoke. His eyes widened in surprise as Erza lifted Hunter up off the ground. He raised his left hand to cover his mouth to keep any laughter from coming up, the current site was quite funny in his mind. Mamoru was waiting to see how the other would react to being lifted when another newcomer came into the room. He also noted that her skin as she moved to lean against the empty Door frame.

He listened noiselessly, perking an eyebrow when she said Jared, ‘Jared?’ The brunette thought as he listened to her speak to Hunter. “Oh,” Mamoru whispered to himself as he pocketed the information.

Deciding to be a bit bold, Mamoru moved so that he was a bit closer to the newest person
, “Um, Hi.” He spoke to the metal female, “My Villain Names Okaasan. But you can call me Michi.” He gave her a small smile, though wobbly
, “If you don’t mind me asking, what's your ability?” He questioned, eyes wide in pure curiosity as to how her power corresponded to her current looks.

Jared's comment earned a raised eyebrow from Aretta -- not that he could see it under her hood and goggles. Come to think of it, the hood was just a bit too over the top. She pulled the hood back, revealing her black hair laying down her back. A change of style from her usual twin tail braid.

"I could say the same thing about you... Hunter."

She was careful not to say his name outloud. Jared might not care if his name was ever known to public, but she would at least not be the one to release it. After all, she didn't want her identity to be discovered. At least not until she made a name for herself. The media focus on big villains was their exploits, how dangerous they were and a sneak point or two to their past. Small time villains, however, ended up in gossip magazines with their whole background exposed. Aretta couldn't care less about Adrian, but she didn't want to drag Grandmother Nyssa into it. For her own reason, exposing identities was a taboo.

Several things happened in succession after.

The man wearing eye mask revealed himself as their host, the Gentleman Thief. It was easier to put name to masks than to faces. Another woman climbed up the stairs. Aretta remembered the sound of footsteps while she was scaling the building, so it was not much of a surprise. Then everything happened faster.

A metal woman walked in and said Jared name as if it was a normal thing to do. How many people did he tell his name to? Before she could comment on his carelessness, the man with bright pink suddenly hoisted Jared up to his shoulder. Aretta took a few steps backward when the man walked near. The man's face , up close, was familiar. His face were on the pages of magazines she subscribed to, though his name slipped through her mind. Or la Grace sounded foreign to her, too. She didn't like him. He was too frivolous, too jovial, too bright in the room of supposed traitors. The man never stared into her eyes, as if avoiding her gaze. She never knew what went on the mind of people like him. She didn't like it.

The man wearing a half mask added to the chain of events by introducing himself -- not to the room -- to the metal woman as Michi. Then he asked for the details of her power. Would that be a good idea? As superheroes, they were a team with a clear defined goal. While they may hid their public identity, they knew that those donning the mask of a superhero did so to save people, even though their personal reason might differed. Villains, however, were different. She doubted there were others who only agreed to come to become famous like her. There was also no guarantee they wouldn't betray each other.

Then again, as Jared said, they couldn't work together without knowing their capability.

"We're only introducing ourselves. Not late enough to miss anything important," said Aretta to the metal woman before turning to Michi. " and shouldn't you explain your own power before asking of others?"

Jared hummed. This was the first time he ever saw her with her black hair let loose just like that - instead of the twin tails. He had to admit, she did look pretty good like that. A fresh change of look. He should ask her to do it at another point again when they're in their civilian identities. Could be a perfect source of teasing too - if the girl would allow him to. She was a good friend to him, didn't want to make her too uncomfortable.

He turned to Ezra and then snapped his fingers. "Ah Or la Glace! That was your hero name!" If he could remember correctly, he retired a few months before. Rather new to the whole ex-hero thing, but he wasn't sure if the others had just dropped out of the hero business too or if they have been villains for a while. "Man, I hope you start wearing a mask after though. A hood won't cover you for long." Jared said jokingly with a wave of his hand. Really, he was pretty sure that Ezra already knew all that basic stuff. But heaven knows how many rookies he's encountered who forgot their mask or some stupid thing like that - if you aren't prepared for the attention, don't forget your mask.

Jared narrowed his eyes at Ezra as he bounded towards him and gripped his hand. He had half a mind to jerk it back but stayed - humoring the touchy male. "I... don't think that's an option with my power." He admitted. He really - highly - doubted that he could turn his arm into that of a stuffed toy. Then again, he never really tried. He could be as soft and fluffy as it, maybe, but he wasn't very keen on trying either.

"Your power huh?" He questioned but was momentarily distracted by the arrival of a very familiar face - and the irritation that came soon after wasn't really anything new. Though it was more because she said his name out loud instead of how discreetly Aretta had done. Because of course it would be Zoe to reveal his name to everyone else in the room. "Oh I'm perfectly fine Zoe-" He had stressed out her name for everyone else to hear, a form of revenge - one could call it. If they knew his name, then it was only right for everyone else to know hers. Fuck ethics and morality even if it was an honest mistake on her part. And he pointedly ignored even the fact that there were many people named Jared and they haven't seen his face yet so they wouldn't necessarily figure out his civilian identity too quickly.

But before he could continue the thought, he felt himself get lifted. "Fuck-" Jared was just as surprised as everyone else as he was promptly placed on Ezra's shoulder. He managed to calm himself enough to not flail around - which he knew from experience was a big mistake since he had done it to others before and they fell back. He let out a loud laugh at the hilarity of the image being portrayed in the here and now. Ezra was smaller than him - way smaller - and yet here they were, the smaller one lifting the taller one without even breaking a sweat. "Superstrength? Anything else you hiding in that small frame of yours Ez?" He asked after he recovered from his laughter, slipping very quickly to familiarity and casual speech. Hard to still be formal after you've been lifted by someone. "O-kay, put me down buddy."

"Fashionably late. That's still a thing." Jared told Zoe with a light chuckle. He eyed the man who had introduced himself to Aretta. If there was one thing about Jared, it was that he was horrendously protective of those he called friends - for reasons that were completely justifiable given his past. "Yeah. We should all demonstrate our powers before asking others. It's only the polite thing to do." He said with a hum.

Carrie was late for the meeting. This, by itself, wouldn't be surprising to those who knew her from her time as Charge. She was notorious for being tardy whenever she agreed to be somewhere. She was in her civilian guise as well- one of the things that made her a potentially great villain was the fact that she could remain totally inconspicuous until the time was right to strike.

The young girl made her way into the meeting room, seemingly unconcerned about her late arrival. Taking a chair at the back of the room, she nonchalantly asked, "So, what did I miss?"

  • Nodding to the Gentleman Rin made a note of the person who would be considered his boss, as long as whatever this meeting was went well. The request from the leader seemed fairly logical, each of the new members having to meet-and-greet in the time they had before others appeared. But these were standard things, the thing that really stood out to Rin was the fact of their boss already fawning over one of the members. He hadn't worked for a super-villain cooperation before but relationships between a boss and their worker usually weren't permitted, on second though, this was a super villain group... normal rules were fucked from the second any of them got the letter.

His gaze passed over the room once more, and the original four members had grown to about six a this point. The lead was quickly taken by the silver masked individual, an aura of familiarity came from him but why was yet to be seen, Rin looked closer his eyes squinting for a moment before returning their normal appearance. The man had introduced himself as Hunter, and a little briefing allowed the group to see his power. "Mimicry" Rin would repeat under his breath, matching powers to the basic appearance he could see of different people. His voice had the same familiar tone as the strange vibe Rin had gotten earlier, weird.

For now he kept he kept himself quiet, the others seemingly much keener on revealing themselves and the powers that each brought to the literal table. The pink haired male who called themselves Ezra seemed a bit too jumpy, honestly it reminded him of a small dog with an overabundance of energy, the analogy faded away as he witnessed the pink-haired individual raise the rather tall blonde sky-bound. "Strength" Rin would mutter under his breath once more. The scene was backed by the rather loud sound of footsteps causing Rin to turn to the doorway, to which the door still remained on the floor, a metallic being now stood there with a shock of pink escaping from the top of it's head. The metallic being referred to Hunter as Jared, which had quickly been followed by Hunter calling it Zoe... They must have known one another.

"Metal." His mutterings continued as he watched another member move towards the metallic woman. His chances of just walking out of the room were over now, two bodies blocked the doorway so his only other option was to go through the window. Maybe staying would be smarter for now. Despite this the rest of the group continued their discussion and he listened in on it, with Okaasan now revealing themselves as well. While looking to the doorway he immediately noticed something odd, another member had managed to make their way into the room. His escape was still possible. This one seemed a bit younger than the others along with appearing to be a random civilian, As she was seated he looked to the others before speaking. "You didn't miss much. We're just introducing ourselves and showcasing the power we possess. Bosses orders" He spoke in a monotone voice, his form still pressed against the wall for the moment being.

"I'm Kaldr by the way." He announced with the same tone, or lack there of.

The appearance of yet another person coming without a mask perplexed Aretta. Someone strong enough to throw away their normal life purposefully, maybe? Or someone mentally unhinged? Furthermore, she was so young. Perhaps she didn't perceive the gravity of her action. Again, she didn't like it. Aretta turned her attention away from the girl.

"I'll introduce myself next," said Aretta. "and my power."

She gave everyone in the room a quick glance. Who would be best to use her power on? She dismissed Jared and Or la Grace due to their awkward posture. She wasn't sure if her power would work on the Metal Woman. The Gentleman Thief was out of question. That would leave Mouth Mask, the young girl, Michi, and Kaldr. She crossed out the two who hadn't name themselves yet. Between Michi and Kaldr... it was decided. Aretta moved back from the crowd forming near the entrance and toward Kaldr.

"Nice to meet you, Kaldr. I'm Historaia, or Raia if you prefer."

And as if it was a normal movement to do, Aretta stretched her hand and grasped Kaldr's arm. She activated her power and Kaldr was preserved. She let go of his arm. Waving her hand in front of his eyes didn't give her a reaction. Not that she expected one. Anyone preserved in a state wouldn't blink an eye as long as no one physically did anything to them.

Aretta pulled Kaldr away from the wall. She arranged his posture to that of a boxer fighting stance. Then she circled behind his back and touched his back, cancelling the preservation state. She didn't intend to reveal her full power to anyone, though. Just enough for them to know the gist of it.

"My power is spatial freezing," said Aretta. "the frozen state will be gone on its own, but I can cancel or prolong it as long as I have direct contact. It only works on living beings, though. "

Carrie looked around as everyone started showing off their powers. There was quite a bit of potential centered in this room. Her eyebrows raised when Historaia performed the rather ironic act of freezing the ice wielder. A stasis lock? That's going to be useful for dealing with hostages or kidnappings. "All right, my turn."

The girl concentrated for a second, and with a massive burst of electricity that somehow didn't damage the décor, Carrie stood in a brand-new outfit with sparks of lightning dancing between her fingers. Another flash, and she was back to normal. "Please, call me Livewire."

Evalynn Hill
Knox
Evalynn stayed quiet for the most part as she listened to everyone and observed the way they behaved toward one another, trying to get a feel of the group. Everyone seemed to be interesting enough for her to want to work with them. Eva wouldn’t have been able to be a team player if all of her teammates were dull and unexciting. She stood there for the few minutes with her arms folded over her chest after she arrived, staying near the group that was introducing themselves. Honestly, everyone’s powers seemed amazing and a few were, admittedly, probably more interesting than her own powers. At least in her opinion. But that didn’t mean she no longer wanted to show them off a little since everyone else was.

“Well I guess it’s my turn to show off a bit and introduce myself” she spoke up with a smirk. “I’m Knox” she told them. “But you guys can call me Evalynn or Eva” she said, also in a way introducing her name that she used as a hero. At first, she wasn’t going to change her villain name to something different, but figured that if she was going to retire from heroism and pursue in harming others rather than helping, she’d want to stay anonymous to the general public. She wondered if anyone would notice or remember her hero name.

“And my powers…” she mumbled as she glanced around the room, her eyes landing on the glass table in the middle of the room. Evalynn took a moment to concentrate and suddenly she was gone. She had become invisible and right after she did, the chairs pushed underneath the glass table suddenly slid several feet away from the said table all at once. “Invisibility and telekinesis" she said as she was still invisible. “I can also make objects become invisible as well. But not people. At least not yet.” Her invisibility power was still relatively new to her, only finding out about this ability a year ago. After this, she re-appeared to the group. “Nice to meet you all.”

Mamoru Himichi/Okaasan

He was about to reply when another new arrival entered. He listened quietly as she talked, then the same for when Raia began to talk and show her ability, then Livewire, and then Eva’s, “All of those are so cool!” He gushes, “I’ll Go next.” Mamoru called out happily, moving one of his hands up, palm facing the floor

, “It's called Bubble.” He then made three small bubbles, a Pink, Blue, and Green one. The Pink Bubble was spikey. The Blue bubble was clouded and hard to see through and the Green bubble looked like it was made of glass

, “The Pink one is for the offense. Blue for defense, like a shield, and Green allows me to heal certain wounds.” He summarized, moving the bubbles away from his hand as he moved it so everyone could see it, first he let the pink bubble dash at it, leaving a decent scratch before it popped. Then making another pink bubble and moving the blue bubble so it deflected the pink bubbles attack.

Mamoru popped the two and increased the size of the green bubble until it could fit his hand inside, letting it do so before it popped after a few seconds showing the wound completely healed, “The deeper the wound the longer it needs to be on it.” He added in thoughtlessly. He huffed and smiled at everyone, “That's all it is, oh and for the newcomers my villain name is Okaasan, but call me Michi.”

It was good that Ezra had let him down and he didn't even take a moment to stabilize himself onto the ground - in fact, he didn't seem to be all that bothered by what had happened. He already has his arms crossed and grinning as more people piled into the room - by more, he means just one person but hey, that was still more in a sense yes? It was always good to have more people. More bodies to hide behind when you need a quick escape! He wasn't at all attached to most of them anyway so he couldn't really care less about them. But perhaps it'll be for his best interest to keep them alive and trust him? Hm~ who knows.

The person from earlier had already been addressed by the man named Kaldr - cool name - and then switched to Aretta as she wished to show her power next. Jared had seen it firsthand before, and at a great number of time during their hero days. He let out an impressed hum as she showcased her power. It had been useful before - to keep people still from their injuries and such. It was a support power, as far as he remembered, but maybe she had found a way to twist it for offense. Now wouldn't that be a sight?

The next one had been the newest addition to the group. He narrowed his eyes when there was a flash of electricity that surrounded all of them. He had always hated those kinds of powers from both heroes and villains since he tended to attract electricity when he absorbed metal. It didn't hurt, but he has to keep himself planted onto the ground so that the electricity would travel harmlessly to the ground beneath him. He clapped twice. "Livewire eh? Not really subtle on your power but hey, it's flashy anyway. Doubt anyone will miss it." The others picked less obvious pseudonyms but he won't judge.

Next up was Knox - or Evalynn. He knew which one to use when they're outside at least. Evalynn Knox. Invisibility and telekenesis. He's worked with telekenetics before in rescue missions - as expected. They're very useful in helping with lifting objects and actually carrying bodies without hurting them. But he's never worked with someone with invisibility before so this would be a new experience. "Oh!" He snapped his fingers suddenly. "You can turn an object invisible and then use your telekenesis to throw it at somebody! And they won't even know what hit 'em! Literally." By all means, Jared sounded like an excited child at the possibilities. Because what better prank than an invisible item hitting you somewhere and you don't know what hit you and who hit you.

Jared watched intently as Michi went on to showcase his power. Seeing bubbles made him suspicious of its usefulness but as it was explained, he began to see why it could be used for both hero work and villain work. "Impressive! Offense, defense and healing... that's a damn versatile power." He complimented with a nod. His was just offensive and defensive and that entirely depended on how he wanted it to go. At least this one was held a lot of potential. And besides, who didn't like bubbles right?

"I'd ask what you're power is Zoe but I think we all can clearly see what it is." Jared teased as he looked back at his friend with a passing glance. But really, one look at her and you would already know what was up. She can encase herself in metal - and hard metal too, he could testify to that considering all the times they sparred - and she can hit. Hard. Once more, he speaks from personal experience when he says that. It was still a pretty damn shame when people hated her for being "too destructive" or whatever shit they could come up with. They just wanted someone to blame. You help people and they just find new ways to put you down.

He turned to Kaldr. "And how about you Kaldr? Still with us man?" He asked, referencing to the earlier showcase of Aretta's power. Jared was curious as to what power he had too. The icy mask screamed ice powers to him but he could still be mistaken. Wouldn't be the first time he saw someone with completely contrasting hero outfits to their powers. Autumn Blaze was one such hero - from her name and her outfit of the spectrum of red, you would think that she had fire powers right? Wrong. She was a water-based heroes and he wasn't sure if it was intentional to throw people off or just something she rolled with.
