Mention: -
When Levith got closer to her face, she couldn't help but to take a step backward. Allies or not, the bloodlust emitted was clear to her eyes. Yet, she kept her eyes on her. She needed to be strong. If she couldn't even do this, her contribution to the New Anarchist would be like a stupid joke. When Levith asked her to help her kill someone, she didn't give any other respond but to nod.

From her coat, Lilian took out a pair of syringe, onefilled with bright orange liquid, while the other had a pale green substance inside. They were two of the three special 'brews' she had made after research spanning several years of her career. She injected the orange syringe to Levith's arm. It was-

"Physical Performance Booster. It will increase your overal performance by at least two folds for several hours."

It was more complicated than that, of course. The drug stimulated not only adrenaline production, but also the sensitivity of the muscle tissue to brain's command, and allow for the tissues to increase energy output from the body fat and carbohydrate. Usage over a long period would weaken the person, of course, but she was sure Levith could handle it. After all Lilian herself could use it, albeit for a shorter time. She injected the green syringe next.

"Sense Enhancer. It will heighten your cognitive ability and senses' sensitivity -- except for your hearing."

She made the change recently. In an open battle like where she was, a sensitive hearing one was not used to was proven to be more of a hidrance than of help. Her pathetic show of fight in the warehouse was a proof of it. Too many noise. It confused her head instead of sharpening her senses. Instead, she focused the development of Sense Enhancer to boost balance, control of muscles, concentration, and the more delicate feature of battle.

The two drugs combined could increase a person fighting capability by several fold. Unfortunately, if the person wasn't strong enough to withstand it, they would simply die.

However, Lilian was sure Levith with her exceptional physiology (not to mention healthy) could handle it. She put her gas mask back on and took a step back.

"That is all I can do for now. I will also stop using the gas canister," she said with an apologetic tone. It was stupid of her to do that. She needed to be more aware of her allies.

  • Puuka

    North East Buildg.

What the hell is going on today? The motor died and Puuka slid himself off his behemoth of a changed ride. "First the warehouse, now a surprise attack? What are these guys after?" He paused when he reached the door a scowled.

Being a 6 foot plus giant with four arms did not make it easy to navigate through a building in the slightest. With a sigh and shake of his head Puuka began to shrink down to a more suitable size while still keeping his form and as he did, something above caught his eye.

"Rooftops." He muttered to himself with narrowed eyes. "She's up there then...but why?" It didn't make sense to go up to a place of little escape. If he recalled the pad's information right Prism could manipulate light. She could use it to go invisible and from what the few videos he'd seen of her in action had shown, if she had enough of it like on a sunny day like this she could make convincing constructs as well.

"...She's up to something", he scowled as he entered the building and began changing form, "and I don't plan on going home fucked up today."

As he climbed the stairs, Puuka's skin became tougher, pale blue skin broke into lines and grew small plates called scales. Each arm gained a layer of lines that went from his fingers and ran all the way down his biceps. Areas where his armor covered like the shoulders, chest, core, and the top of his head were left mostly unprotected with only the slightest bit of reinforcement added to bone density to make it difficult to knock him out if Prism happened to use some sort of weapon that could pack a punch.

Reaching the top floor and staring at the door now at a slightly shorter height, Prism opened the door and made his way to the roof, where his keen eyes could see mos of the battle happening around.

"...Well, looks like sniffing you out is out", draft up here was too good for that and from what his eyes could see, she wasn't here. But he doubted it. She was up to something. He just wasn't sure what. It wasn't until he caught a look alike in the distance that Puuka's eyes narrowed as he stared at Prism's afterimage but made no move to approach it. It was a full four seconds before he said something next and when he did it made it clear he didn't know where she was but knew that she was here.

"You must think I'm some kind of rookie if you think cheap tricks like this are going to work on me." He turned, took a couple steps back, and placed himself towards the door and as he did that two of four of his arms raised to guard his face. A precaution in case she still had more flash bangs as he blocked the only exit off the roof.

"Now that I have you here, if you don't want to be put in jail for the rest of your life, you'll give me an answer to my question. Why are you here?"

Standing at 5'4" and weighing in at 120 LB, Prism is wearing her signature Kevlar outfit, her crimson red hair is hanging out of the sides and her titanium plague doctor mask has been knocked off from a previous assault. Prism's suit is disguising on it's own, and it shows off her physical features well, even in combat it makes her look exceptionally nimble. Prism's Mac-10 loaded with Hallow points has been longed emptied and holstered While her pistol stays inside of her jacket, her rifle is currently folded up and in her jacket. Her costume has many different vials, ammunition, and bombs on it, ready to be used at a moments notice. Her left eye often glows, a telltale sign of an implant. She has 1 flashbang left in her belt.

Prism waited.... it was a long time to wait, or at least it felt like forever to her. Then the door opened up and Prism held her breath. She was expecting him to swing out her decoy but instead he replied with a heavy amount of snark in his voice. Prism remained unchanged though, she had met plenty of veterans tricked by simple tricks. Most of them got a simple bullet to the head but she had a unsettling feeling that this once couldn't be solved that way. Not to mention that he seemed awfully confident that he could take a bullet to the head. Otherwise he wouldn't be standing right where she could shoot him.
'I really need to upgrade... Why didn't I ask Scarlet!'
Of course after he blocked the door and finished his little spiel Prism realized that she was in quite the predicament. The last thing she could do is allow herself to panic. Finally starting to calm down from her quick run she focused on her breath. Slowing it down to what she would normally use while in sniping position. Slow and shallow breaths, making minimal noise. She had to think of something though. After a good 10 seconds she slowly, pulled a flash bang off her belt and looked to the building to her north. Taking a second to concentrate, another, more believable decoy was made on that roof. Prone on the ground looking through the scope, looking right at him.

Her using her abilities was starting to get to her. She couldn't make many more decoys so quickly. Though he was covering his face up to block against blinding. With that Prism had 2 choices, fight the well prepared man... or do the obvious and run. So just turning to her side she quietly climbed onto the fire escape and started to go down the stairs. Only starting to get quicker once she was half way down, making much more noise with the metal stairs colliding with her rubber shoes. Once she reached the bottom she jumped off, this time sticking the roll much better than last time. Then creeping away at a brisk pace towards where she came from. Doubling back and trying her best to this time leave no traces like she did earlier.

  • Zephyrus

The hero watched the tornado impact the man with the TV helmet. It didn't seem to do much, as expected from what could be one of the apparent leaders. He listened carefully to the command that the man gave to the others about the radio tower. They were disabling the alarm system. Hacks. Zephyrus immediately called hacks.

Zephyrus moved his hand in front of his body and began charging up another spiraling energized-wind blast, this one aiming to incapacitate the leader. It formed into a rugged spear, crackling heavily and throwing dust all around them. Zephyrus prepared to hurl the wind-spear at the leader like the Greek god Zeus hurling a lightning bolt. Within two seconds, Zephyrus released the beam. It flew about a meter before freezing in mid-air, caught by some sort of digital barrier thrown by the leader.

    Shit!

Zephyrus watched as the polearm disappeared while walking toward the barrier. He couldn't simply walk through it. He raised a hand toward the barrier, and watched the digital particles dance between her fingers, interacting with his personal wind-based forcefield.

    He could destroy it.

Zephyrus walked back to the end of the digital barrier and crouched down. A wave of the same white-blue energy pulsed from his feet, slamming into the barrier from all angles in the inside. At the same time, Zephyrus found himself flying forward with immense speed. He covered his face with his arms and let his personal barrier do the breaking. Almost like a hot knife through butter, Zephyrus cut through the digital barrier, destabilizing it from the inside-out with the man-sized puncture wound and interactions of his own energy.

He wiped the corner of his mouth with his hand. Zephyrus had that problem; anger, excitement, or any other intense emotion could something result in slight drooling. With a gentle and unsettling grin, he determined the best course of action would be to attack first, and everyone at once if possible.

The wind hero raised his foot and slammed it into the ground, cracking the asphalt with the force of his personal barrier and injecting hundreds of liters of energized wind through the loose concrete.

    Fragments.

Chaotic fragments formed on the solid ground, forming rough plates all the way toward the feet of his potential assailants (Tesla & Aia), and beyond that near the man himself (Data). It didn't make force for the wind to separate through the concrete. Zephyrus pushed his foot harder into the ground.

All within about six to eight seconds, Zephyrus had shaken the battlefield. The fragments of the ground blasted high into the air, followed by geysers of white-blue energized wind, surrounding Zephyrus in a ringed circle resembling the rings on a tree. If the heat wasn't enough of a deterrent, the concrete projectiles being blasted up and falling down would at least hurt.

    I'll pay for damages later...

Carbon Dragon.png

Alan || Carbon Dragon

Alan stood as he heard the boy speak, his tone clearly showing indications of arrogance. He said he was nineteen, fairly young but he can't really talk since he began his own hero training when he was nineteen. He began his little speech about them being in armor and he had to slightly agree, however, he was already showing signs of not being honorable if they were to take off their armor. As MAX finished his response he saw the hand gesture he made on his lowered hand, and right after he heard distinct metal clicks behind him. He quickly swerved his head behind him to see the other armored boy, and then the canister rolling at him at a fast pace. He was about to get away when suddenly the explosive went off and the smoke engulfed him, covering the entire area he was standing. That grenade clearly had some firepower behind it, more so than grenades used by the military. After the explosion, the smoke stayed and silence fell among the three, well as much as silence can get with the raging battle going on around them. Carbon didn't come out of the smoke, yet it eerily stayed in place slowly moving away.

Then, without warning, Alan swung out his arm and the smoke began to dissipate. On his arm was his shield, which he had used to clear the smoke. He wasn't able to get most of his shield materialized in time, so his armor took the brunt of the explosion. However, despite being a strong grenade, it barely affected his armor. The parts that were damaged were already being repaired or have been repaired automatically by the suit. The smoke had now finally cleared and he stared intimidatingly right at the person who threw it. He then looked at MAX and gave a slight chuckle. "A nice attempt, however, if you used your trump card at the beginning of the fight shows me that you're scared. If you're too cowardly to fight be hand to hand, then which one of us shows the true markings of a hero?" He said behind his mask. These boys needed to know that they were on the wrong side of history, even though he knew he couldn't convince them. Laying the seeds of doubt would be enough though.

He then began to walk towards MAX, having already marked the other on his radar and would see him approaching on it and would respond promptly. "The society you call heroics have become corrupt, its meaning tainted by greed and murderous lust. Take it from a former hero who has seen the corruption first hand and has vowed to get rid of it. Saving peoples lives should be our top priority, only then should we think about capturing the villain. Allowing dozens to die just to satisfy our murderous intent on one opponent shouldn't be the way and I, no we, aim to dissolve this corruption." He said with a passionate tone, trying to show the two his experience as a hero in order to persuade them or seed doubt in them.

As he got close enough he then shot at full speed, using his jets, and slammed into MAX with his shield. Using his other hand he grabbed at his shoulder and attempted to throw him straight at the other armored boy. He then landed on his feet, sliding on the ground, before standing up towards the two and gave off an aura that said 'come at me with everything that you have'.

BRUTUS

Brutus growled deeply at the mans comments before speaking back. "I'm the farthest fro human you can get boy." Brutus said as he leaned his head down and put it to the heroes head locking them in a war of who can push harder. As other closed in though Brutus quickly disengaged this in time as bright rocked the hero with an upper cut. Then Acme came in and did a good bit of damage as he was busy with Acme Brutus looked to bright. "You! Focus your attacks on that cut!" Brutus ordered as he charged in once more just as iron quad became distanced enough. Hitting him straight in the side just as he was about to turn to fight him and bright once more. Brutus had ducked his head into the charge. Figuring the attack would be a surprise only for a sec before his enemy turned to take the hit and fight back once more. A bull like roar echoed out from Brutus as he dug his massive hands and feet into the ground as he continued to drive. Quickly lifting his arms up he wrapped them around the hero. Staying rather low despite his size as he drove into iron quad. Knowing Brutus wouldn't be able to go much longer before Iron Quad got a full counter attack in order and inacted it Brutus took his last chance of a good strike and twisted tossing iron quad hard at the nearby building.

#17: The Other Side
981c3c28aa5f6cd4d62ecfc46dced958.jpg
Beau took to the stairs, one step, then two steps, then three steps at a time. He'd never broken that habit as a child. At least he wasn't bounding up the steps on all fours like he'd done in his youth.

The quiet of this place suited him. He liked it a lot better than all the chaos outside. Even if that was here, he could deal with it, so long as it kept quiet. And kept away from him. Who knew what sort of bizarre diseases it was carrying around in its grotesque figure? He'd prefer not to think of it.

"Haha," chuckling to himself, Beau turned to look over his shoulder and spied Saint and Apex coming up the staircase behind him. He called out to them in a cheerful voice, "Saint! Look how many steps I can do at once." Biting his lip for added concentration, he lifted his right leg up as far as it would go and, with the help of the railings on either side, he hoisted himself forward. "Five steps in one! That was pretty good, huh? Now you try!"

As they inevitably ran out of stairs to climb, the motley crew stumbled upon a landing leading to a hallway, which lead them to a doorway. From the looks of it, Beau imagined that whatever lied on the other side must be valuable. If not, then why make such a sturdy door? He jiggled the handle.

"Huh? It's locked." Whatever was inside must be really important. Unless it's not a what, but a who. The thought of more enemies lurking on the other side of the door was not a pleasant one. "I guess we have to turn back!" In Beau's defense, he wasn't sure he could break in, even if he wanted to. And, frankly, he didn't feel like embarrassing himself in the attempt. He could do it. Ah, yes. Beau recalled Saint's terrible display of power from the rig earlier. Yes, surely, he could do it. After a short pause, Beau offered Saint a try, stepping aside and making a little bowing motion.

"After you."

Saint
North Cylinder

Following the dirty blonde up the steps, Saint's mind tossed and turned thoughts and concepts on what all of this would mean after today. The day where they attacked a governmental funded superhero post. Hearing laughter, Saint ignored it as he trailed behind Beau who grew farther and farther the more steps he took in distance while Saint, caught up in his thoughts on what today's attack would do to tomorrow and the future, took one step at a time. It wasn't until Beau called his name that the glowing red lights and metal face turned to look up at the young man and Saint stopped his movement to watch Beau take those five large steps up the stairs.

For one brief second, Saint compared Beau to something like that of a child. It made him ponder if this was an act, some elaborate ruse to get his defenses down or if Beau really was showing genuine amusement out of the simple act of climbing stairs.

Needles to say when it was apparently his turn, those red lights that hid his dark green eyes didn't move from Beau's direction for a good few seconds in absolute silence before the armored one merely made a simple gesture with his head that said 'no' then to clarify, (not that he needed to) he gestured to the naked mutant on his back and continued climbing the steps one step a time.

He's a strange one Saint had to admit as his thoughts left what today meant and instead focused on the now. I'll have to keep an eye on him. He didn't say much or anything at all as he followed Beau the rest of the way up the stairs and occasionally stopped to shift Apex in his grip so it remained firm. Once at the top, allowing Beau to go forward down the hallway before taking a few seconds to follow after him Saint paused when he heard his 'companion' say: "It's locked."

No surprise there. He'd expected locked doors. But considering the current situation a locked door could mean anything. Pondering what to do now and glancing at Beau as he made his goading gesture for him to take the lead, Saint looked back towards the door, trying to discern what sort of metal it was made of. If Red's attack earlier had show him anything, it was that most of this building was blast proof. And if the outer walls were than it was possible the same could be said for these doors.

"....mmm" he hummed in thought. A slight tilt of the head and he could make out Apex's face resting on his shoulder. Glancing back to the door, Saint stood there for a second pondering his options.

One the one hand he could headbutt this thing to open it, but if there was someone or something inside acting as guard, doing that would put all three of them in danger. Ok, maybe not all three but still. He didn't know the security of this place and he wasn't about to take stupid chances.

Turning away from the door and heading down the hall Saint told Beau "Wait here. I'm going to put Apex somewhere safe." Then without another word Saint disappeared behind a corner and moved to an opening wide enough where any human could hide behind and gently placed Apex down. "Stay here and stay out of trouble." The deep voice ordered her. One quick look over to make sure she was still conscious Saint got up and headed back to Beau and in a few seconds he was back by his side.

"Stand clear and get ready for anything that may happen" he told him. Taking a step forward, vibrations made the carpet ground shiver, then with a fist hitting the door, a test at a strike, Saint felt the metal take his light hit and bend just a few inches inward slightly at the strike.

"Hm, must be different material." A glance Beau's way and a gesture back told his 'companion' to take a step back while he got to work opening the door. "When I bust open that door I want you to go straight towards whoever's in there, if anyone's in there, and restrain them. Do not kill anyone unless you absolutely must, am I understood?"

Whatever Beau may have said in response Saint wasn't listening, he threw a fist out, a light jab, and sent out waves of condensed air to slam into the door and make it shake with the strike. A second punch, this one made contact and the wall holding the door in place began to gain cracks as the spot that got hit took a bend inward. A third punch, more vibrations sent through the metal and around the walls, to its hinges and this time several cracks appeared around the door and the hinges took a precarious bend as the whole thing began to loosen.

"Get ready" he warned Beau, then bringing his left into one deck, the hinges snapped, wall broke and rained plaster, and the door slid forward a few inches before it fell lazily to the ground as smoke and dust slightly glazed the air.

He landed quietly on the rooftop. Not that he needed to be excessively so; The fights all around would drown any noise he made if he wasn't purposefully attracting attention to himself. The chain he had used to pull himself to the North Cylinder dissipated at his will. Unnecessary use of power. As he moved toward the door heading down the building, a movement attracted his attention. The movement was not vicious, nor did it warrant any attention. It was precisely because of that, and the fact that the movement occured at the bottom of the building he was on, Faust had turned his attention to it, drawing nearer to the edge of the building.

Several people was trying to enter the building. He had recognised them as the villains that had joined the New Anarchist around the same time as he did. He couldn't see them clearly, but the fact that they tried to enter the building from a different doorway lifted some burden from his mind. Another group for any remaining people inside to worry of. Less attention would be put to him. With that thought in mind, he retreated from the edge and opened the door-

"Hm?"

-only to be greeted by a rifle pointing right at him.

Behind his signature mask of Sever, Faust eyes widened. A black layer of fibres started to materialise in front of him as he retreated away from the rifle, rolling sideway onto to the rooftip. The fibre was something he had experimented on recently. It was something normally used in bullet proof vest, woven like a clothes.

He wouldn't bet it on being able to stop any bullet completely yet.

Retsu whistled in dumbstruck appreciation of the anthropomorphic duo's flawless coordination. She couldn't even be mad. They were good together. Almost too good. Frankly, it reminded her of the intuitive connection she had with her sisters. And that was saying something!

"Hah? What we're doin' here? Ain't it obv--!!!" Retsu cut herself off, focusing all her efforts on avoiding certain evisceration at the hands - or claws - of her opponent. She planted both feet and kicked back hard to create some much needed distance and narrowly escape the wolf's assault. Rearing back and pointing an accusatory finger his way, an indignant Retsu gave the man a piece of her mind. "What's the big idea, eh? Yer askin' a lady questions n' when she tries t' answer, yer all claws?! Hmph! Chivalry's truly dead n' a ditch somewhere, I tell ya."

She felt her breathing start to quicken. Winded? Already? Cripes, she was getting old... But this guy, Retsu thought as she flourished her blade, leveling it with the wolfman's distant forehead, he still seems pretty spry. The longer this fight went on, the worse it was starting to look. So much for giving him the run-around. A battle of attrition wasn't the way to win, either. His healing was insane. In that case, I'll just have to end it quickly!

Muttering a quiet prayer out of respect for her opponent, Retsu released the grip on her sword and, like before, it shot forward like a bullet toward the wolf's snout. This time, however, a high-speed Retsu followed close behind it. While the sword zipped through the air, buzzing around the large man's canine head like a pesky, stabbing-and-slashing insect, Retsu went low. She struck out with a sliding heavy-heel kick, aimed at the man-wolf's vulnerable, stationary kneecap on his forward leg.

Big tree fall hard.

Small Bloodied Apx.png Apex watched as the tensions continued to just go from tense to somehow even more tense with a combination of Saint staring at Bo, Bo not making matters better for himself and the overriding sense that they were not alone. All these worries were set far aside for Apex, as she was focused on healing herself while Saint carried her. After giving it some though- he was pretty damn strong to be just carrying her around after being stabbed. She was just happy that she was able to stop bleeding, as that Wolf fella got her good in the chest with his claws. It was nothing deep but even she had to admit that the punches smarted. Apex stays in a state of dormancy while sitting on Saint's shoulders, that was until they started going up the stairs. She heard something that sounded like a voice, It wasn't Saint and she knew just that much. Otherwise it was white noise that was beyond comprehension to the beat up mutant. After a good bit the ringing and the static cleared out of her head and before she knew it she was set down on the ground.

After she was sat on the ground Apex looked around herself, she looked up to Saint and gave him a quaint nod before turning back to her environment. She saw a pretty bland corner. It was a nice corner to heal in. Dark, quiet, nobody else was around to see her in her own blood recovering from utter humiliation in combat. Her wounds were starting to heal over quickly, it was almost all internal, the claw marks across her chest had nearly completely healed over at this point. Now it was just the internal injuries and her head. Which now that her senses had started to kick back in started to kill her. 4 large bangs went off in the background and Apex had no idea what they were. Were they gunshots? No Apex had heard plenty of gunshots and they were much sharper in volume. She wanted to stand and she felt like she could. Clawing up from the ground with some effort she was able to stand. Her legs shoot a good bit while she stood but it was bearable. Taking a few steps Apex took a peak across the corner. She could feel her internal injuries healing, bruises on her body slowly fading away.

Apex was going to need to raid the kitchen when they got back to the N.A., As much as she was healing herself. Too much healing and not enough protien and calories to break down. For now she would live but hunger start to take her not soon after she was done here, but for now it was just important that she was standing.
Looking around the corner Apex the 2 crowded around a door. Helping crossed her mind, but she vaguely remembered Saint telling her to stay out of trouble. So instead she sat back down right next to the turn in the corner. Using her active cloaking and looking around the corner to watch the situation unfold.

"Go?" Her eyebrow perked up as her right ear leaned to the side. "You'd just run away? What kind of hero just runs away?!" Her ears shot straight up, pointing skyward as she glared at the Tiger. He was basically saying she had just wasted her time. She didn't get what she wanted and now he was just going to bolt? Before she could respond further a trio of tigers lunged at her from three directions. The swords embedded into the ground were pulled free, rapidly returning to their previous positions as she prepared to strike down the mirages. She spared only the briefest of moments to look back at the real Tiger, seeing only a grin as he vanished from sight. The agitation was painted across her features for all to see. There was nothing worse than having a man who ended things prematurely and left her unsatisfied. She made a note to track him down and punish him for this at a later date.

As the mirages closed in her ear twitched, moving as if drawn to the sky in the distance. Before she could even turn to look at what was coming it had already arrived. The impact cratering the ground inside her field. She held her gaze firmly on the newcomer, the floating swords lashing out to quickly strike down the mirages the Tiger had left for her. With the distractions out of the way she properly eyed up her new opponent. First a tiger, now some iguana, a very tall lumbering iguana that absolutely dwarfed her tiny frame. What was it with the cavalcade of animal heroes? Were they some kind of themed team or something? For the briefest of moments the thought of adding a fox to their roster crossed her mind. But only the briefest of moments. She knew how stuffy and confining hero-work could be.

She kept expecting the hero to say something. To do something. But he just... stood there... The Iguana doing some slow, methodical standing motion and just peering down at her. In fact it was so noticeable to her that she started tapping her foot impatiently. She understood the need for showmanship. Heroes had to make grand entrances and all. But was he actually going to do something? Was she suppose to do something? Maybe that was it, he was waiting for her to say something. She opened her mouth to speak only to have the Iguana finally say something. Being cut off caused her to puff her cheeks and glare at the lizard. If he was going to start first he should have done it sooner. She quickly dispelled her agitation and instead adopted an air of smug arrogance, her free hand resting on her hip as she haphazardly waved her sword around. "Well, why wouldn't I be? Your friend just ran off with his tail between his legs after all."

Her arrogant grin grew as the lizard continued lavishing praise on her. "Your friend might be a coward but at least he recognizes superiority when he sees it. I do try to flex my muscles every now and then." Her smugness diminished ever-so-slightly as she watched the Iguana step into her field of fire before withdrawing. The following words further dampening her recent mood change. "If you make it over here what happens to me? Maybe I actually get to have a little fun after being left high and dry by your buddy. Or maybe I just kill you for being stupid and go find that coward." She shrugged at that, even with his testing of the waters she didn't show even a hint of concern. Melee combat was where she was strongest, if the Iguana wanted to be foolish and fight her on her own turf, that was on him. "Although it is cute that you think I need any allies to come and help me. If anything they're the ones that need my help. Alas, I am but a little fox incapable of rendering them aid while besieged by champions of tyranny~" She moved her hand from her hip to rest gently over her heart, that last sentence dripping with melodrama as she played the part of the poor maiden.

As expected the Iguana was unfazed by her field. Both the immense heat of the fire and powerful bolts of electricity did nothing to impair his advance as the beastman slowly began striding towards her. She made no move herself, instead opting to simply watch his slow advance. Although at his remark about detaining her, or killing her, she let out a bemused huff of air. "I'd love to see you try. But you'll probably just run away like the Tiger!" As the Iguana charged her her nine tails shot straight, creating a peacock tail appearance behind her form. The swords, however, did not follow the tail's movements. Instead the nine swords maneuvered in front of her, forming a circle like before. Only this time they spun vertically, forming an almost shield-like ring in front of her.

As the blades spun arcs of electricity danced across their surface as if building up towards something. With the Iguana nearing her position she had finally channeled enough magic into her attack. With the Iguana just meters away the blades instantly stopped their spinning, all nine of them shifting to point directly at the lizard to form a barrel of swords. In the midst of this barrel the electrical energy that had been channeled condense and expanded, rolling over itself as it rapidly grew in intensity before lancing out like a colossal laser cannon. The beam of energy aimed directly for the charging Iguana and containing a far stronger concentration of her magic than any attack she had yet performed.

The matter with Levith resolved, Lilian turned her attention to the watch on her hand. The effect of her drug would be gone soon. She popped an orange and green pills into her mouth. Physical Performance Booster and Sense Enhancer. The same drugs she had injected to Levith. Digesting them would increase the duration of the effect, but the problem was, not everyone could see the effect immediately. As usual, upon gulping down the Sense Enhancer, she felt like her senses had been reopened. Everything was much clearer. Several battles were rampaging around her, against beastmen heroes.

Rally and Desmond were in the middle of one.

Lilian kicked off into the air, moving at a speed unimaginable to her under normal condition to help them. She could do so. She must. Her breathing was fast. Though she could see how the fight went on, it was still some time before she could reach them. The tiger beastman had split into three, surrounding Rally from three directions.

She jumped into the air, throwing three darts at each beastman. It was nothing fancy. Just dart you would expect to find with a dartboard. The fact that she had embed the darts in the extract of Atropa Belladona was another matter entirely. She didn't expect them to hit; Even with her sense and physical ability enahnced, her capability was still far off from powers that directly enhance speed and strength.

Landing on her feet, she dashed to Rally's side.

"Are you all right? "

Zil

North Cylinder

" She really is an overconfident brat."

Eyes on the prize, slits of black dilated as Zil focused all his attention on Emi's spinning blades. Looking at it carefully, the blades were almost reminiscent of a turbine, spinning round and round the way they did, generating electricity like a live wire did the snake on an open road. Taking all this into account, the speed at which the blades moved, the guesstimated amount of watts that was being created, the generation of energy that was being built, Zil came to one guessed conclusion in what exactly his tiny, little opponent might just be doing.

I see. He thought with a blink, then picked up his speed. If she was going to do something like that, then it was better he gave her a larger target.

1, 2, 3, less than three seconds, barely even close to one, Zil grew four more inches in height and size. Emi became smaller than small, and the spinning blades of death that were gaining energy looked that much more insignificant. But if he was doing anything, he was making certain her aim focused on his growing size and his growing size alone. Bigger than a bear, taller than a truck's height, Zil charged and closed the gap, unabashed when the blades stopped spinning, crackled, and then aimed at him in barrel formation to fire.

Eyes dilated, senses heightened, reflexes became faster, and perception bordered on extreme. Seconds before the first signs of plasma could begin forming, Zil came to a slower pace that made it look like he was going to tackle this blast head on.

Then just when the first spark emitted and all that energy came belching outward, Zil let half a second pass as the canon fired, then in milliseconds, less than a 100, he shrank to his humane size, lost all of that added strength and gained back more of his speed, just as the laser fire soared right over him, missing him completely as he wasted not a second or less and just moved forward.

Moving out from underneath the searing heat of the laser which he could feel from under his scales, a less gigantic Zil, moved through the field of fire not like a snail, but like a track runner on open ground. He came out from under that beam of green, and didn't run, but he launched forward with gigantic steps, as if some of that residual strength still partially lingered now that he was back to humanish size.

In four seconds, what had been meters became, centimeters, Zil was not fast, but he was strong. He knew well that if Baiyun had to up his ante in speed from regular levels to a bit extra, then he'd need to use his strength to close the distance, especially if the girl was a bit faster than he was even at his regular height.

Four seconds went by, and a 'iguana' closed in. Zil stayed clear of the laser, putting distance between him and it, just in case she turned it around and decided to swing it like a bat instead with the laser on left (or her right) and becoming less of a worry with every empowering step he took. If she swung it, he would shift his size, strength, and durability to counter or jump over it and proceed his charge, but in the case she didn't or couldn't, his charge would continue unperturbed. By the fourth or perhaps fifth second, he was right on top of her, and while this form allowed him to feel the heat, and slightly acknowledge the stinging presence of static, it mattered little when endurance and fortitude was on his side.

A clawed hand shot out to not punch but grab. Because all he had to do was that, grab her. And then it'd be over once she was in his claws. And in the case that didn't work, eyes dilated and his hyper perceptive state was triggered once again, he could always see her actions. With the distance between them, Zil had complete faith that his shifting was faster than her reaction or reflexes. He'd used little time to shift from what was bigger than a bear to what was as tall as a man.

Closing in, merely inches away from the index finger of his right hand from touching her, Zil kept his eyes open, as his other arm stayed wary to block or parry anything she might throw.

As the Iguana grew she adjusted her aim, keeping it dead-center on the charging beastman. The beam burst forth with such ferocity that it caused the sword-lined housing along with it's foxxy owner to slide back an inch or two. However, just before impact the Iguana instantly shrunk causing the beam to careen off into the afternoon sky. The Iguana wasn't anywhere near as fast as the Tiger, but his speed was still far beyond any normal human. And this time she had her swords tied up in her attack. In an attempt to counter his moves she adjusted her aim, the beam cutting a swath through the air and crashing down into a nearby building as she attempted to follow the Iguana's movements.

Try as she might, she couldn't bring her attack to bear. The Iguana was already on top of her, his clawed hand reaching out. She made a move to raise her sword in an attempt to cut the beastman. But she had waited too long, she had focused too much on her attack. A large, powerful arm wrapped around her tiny frame, pulling her forward and squeezing her tightly against the beastman's body. She let out a gasp of air at the sudden crushing pressure, the eight ethereal tails vanishing into nothingness as she was held tightly in place. However, her surprise and shock quickly faded away. In their place that same arrogant grin. "Do you treat all girls you meet this roughly?" Her voice did not betray any nervousness. If she was hiding her fear she did so perfectly.

The tiny fox squirmed in the Iguana's grasp lightly, testing his grip with her arms and giving him a light kick with her dangling legs. It was obvious this was no real attempt at obtaining freedom. Her little tests made it abundantly clear that even if she fought seriously she likely wouldn't break free. But then, that was perfectly fine by her. Casting her gaze up to look in the Iguana's eyes her grin widened. "Should have played it safer like your buddy." As the words came out the array of swords, still firing that beam, suddenly pivoted end over end to direct the beam at the two of them. The green energy cut a swath through the ground, closing in on the Iguana and his captive with frightening speed due to it's close proximity. No matter the beastman's actions the beam did not stop, it's overwhelming power consuming the fox girl along with everything that once resided at the center of that flaming field. In her final moments the keen observer could see that same dull glow from before as the girl vanished into nothingness.

With her apparent suicide the magic that had been maintained vanished along with her. The field of fire evaporated, the swords disappearing into the wind. All of her attacks were wiped away leaving only their carnage behind. Really her parting words weren't entirely correct as even the Tiger failed to properly gauge her capabilities. They knew she could use magic, they knew she shouldn't be taken lightly. Yet here you have a lizard who thinks grabbing her was a smart move. Her legs swayed back and forth gently drumming her heels against the side of the building she resided on. The smoke and debris left in the wake of her suicide made it impossible to tell if she had actually killed the Iguana or not. But given the amount of magic she pumped into that beam she doubted he could have survived.

A tired moan escaped her lips as she stretched her arms into the air and kicked her legs out straight before relaxing into a slumped heap. Using that much magic in this state took it's toll, that was for sure. Then again, she was the one that wanted to be all flashy with big fancy moves. If she just fought normally she would have been perfectly fine. Either way she let out a yawn and lazily surveyed the battlefield to see how everyone else was faring in their own battles. After decisively obtaining victory it was only obvious that she should see if her comrades needed assistance. Or maybe a little nudge to make their fights more interesting to watch. Whichever felt like the better option.

Levith felt fear, but not terror when the woman pulled her syringes out. She felt fear as the orange and green fluid begin to pump into her system, but what she felt second after, was strength. Strength that she was eager to let out. She ignored the woman's talking, not out of disrespect, but out of urgency to get back into the fray with her newfound strength. Her back stood straight, as she began to sprint towards the mountain of a man. Her mind raced, thinking as to what she would do. Maybe a kick? A lunge? Or maybe just a standard punch? Before she could finish her thought, she jumped, kicking the back of the colossal figure, landing behind him, her fists raised, ready to brawl.

5', 96LB. She is currently outfitted with her Assault suit, while concealing her identity well it leaves little to the imagination, Being skin tight with the acceptation of the titanium armour plates on her back, chest, forearms, thighs, shins & shoulders. She has long lost her hopes of the skin-tight suit underneath the armor plates concealing her gender, now hoping that she would rather just find a better lightweight material.. Her helmet is sealed tightly, acting as a gas mask and a visor. The suit's boots give a small metal clunk with each step, with small, barely noticeable arcs of electricity coming off of her boots onto the metal floor of the 'rig'. Her back has a small suitcase with the words COBRA welded onto it roughly, the suitcase is professionally secured to her suits harness system, Removing the threat of the suitcase swinging around on her back . Her electro-gun was on her back folded up, with a new addition to her appearance. A solid black holster holding her new revolver tightly against her thigh to be pulled at any point.

A small, easy to hide 7.62 AP sentry gun
Very small. Folds into a small backpack.
Fires 1000 RPM
Holds 1000 rounds
Very inaccurate.
Does not use depleted uranium rounds
Bullet hose protocol - Suppresses targets with a large output of bullets, and does not stop shooting just because a targets has taken cover.
Venom rounds - Debilitates targets that are hit with a weak poison. Often just giving the targets blurry vision, ringing ears; with some fatigue added on to being shot

.308 AP rounds packed into a dual barrel system. Very good for surprise attacks. Very low profile and the shields on the front/sides protect the internals.
60 RPM per barrel (120 RPM total). holds around 240 rounds
It condenses into a small suitcase.
The STALKER is made from a lightweight titanium allow and has a frame meant to take a beating.
Has EMP resistant shielding stronger than the other sentry guns.
Has radar cloaking and hides it’s own electronic signals from any kind of sensors that could find it

10mm Magnum rounds in a revolving disposable drum that holds 18 rounds.
Fires in a Double action or Automatic based on hammer position. Primed being automatic, not primed being double action.
Barrel length is 10 inches
Extremely accurate automatic or semi-automatic.
Recoil is much harder to control in automatic at a slow rate of 120 RPM.
Large enough to be held in both hands
Rest in a holster attached to her thigh

Shoots either an arc or bolt of eletricity. Runs off Kat's natural power production.
Can be fired in an arc or bolt charged with 500 volts Has lethal and non-lethal.
Lethal uses 200 mA while non lethal uses 30 mA
Arcs can only strike targets 15 meters away and arc 5 times maximum.
Rest on her back collapsed internally, can be ready to fight within a second.
Tesla-Armour edited.png Tesla had to make a split second decision. Stay or move, she saw the 2 small tornadoes zooming towards her and she held her ground. To her surprise the energy behind it that would do the real damage faded away leaving just the wind. Her gear held her from being flung around but she was still knocked her down. Tesla quickly scrambled up from her prone position, getting on her feet in less than a couple seconds. Not long after being knocked down, what insured was the pure chaos of combat. Everything was flying everywhere, shit was happening and at this rate Tesla had to take a second to understand just what she was seeing. Geysers were being formed and Tesla considered herself lucky that she just didn't have a geyser form right next to her. She seemed to think she was safe where she was. So she had to fire back.
Unhooking the Cobra sentry gun from her back, she slammed it on the ground and let it unfold it's self and set up. Immediately giving a harsh beep and turning to Zephyrus. The barrels on the minigun spun up and let loose a hose down of bullets. The sound nearly deafened Tesla and shell casings hit the floor so fast that it looked like it was raining brass. She hoped that Data had some form of ear protection because the sentry gun was deafening, good for Tesla her helmet muffled loud noises but it was nothing special. The AP viper rounds were spat out in a fire-rate of almost 17 rounds per second. After that Tesla knew that she would have to refill it's ammo soon, she only kept on drum for the Cobra on her but it would last for...

er- a minute. Actually make that 57 seconds- Ok I time to focus that hero down.'

Tesla needed to do something else, so she put her Electro-gun on her back and took out her revolver she started taking potshots with her new weapon. Taking a proper shooting stance she aimed using the well made iron sights and adjusted a touch for the wind. The 10mm round made a loud bang with every shot, she took 4 shots in total and was aiming straight for center of mass towards the hero while the sentry gun next to her shot off hundred of rounds,. In the back of her head she kept a mental clock on how long the sentry gun would fire.
'42,41,40'
It was a futile effort as the noise from the machine gun and her trying to line up another shot made her lose count. So eventually she just said fuck it and fired another revolver shot towards Zephyrus, putting all of her thought into trying to take him down. The pure amount of lead being thrown at him and the dust being kicked up around the sentry gun was amazing. After a bit the most visible parts of the dust cloud were the lights on the sentry gun and the lights in Tesla's helmet; burning with one goal in mind. To turn the hero into Swiss cheese.

  • Zephyrus

Zephyrus threw his hands forward and pulled inwards as he observed the armored person prepare to attack, presumably with some form of technology. Just his luck - it happened to be a sentry gun. From the pulling motion, the wind in front of him pulled around him like two heavy suction cups, getting exponentially more powerful as they neared his sides, while his personal barrier of air kept himself from being thrown about should he be hit with something large. Instead of a projectile, Zephyrus was greeted by something far more unpleasant.

A deafening crack, following several hundreds of bullets, flitted toward his direction. A baseball bat wouldn't have been a problem. Even someone throwing a grenade could be thrown back to some extent. But bullets. Aerodynamic bullets, things that cut through air like butter. They posed an obvious threat. The two white-blue tornadoes surrounding Zephyrus could hardly do anything to divert all of the bullets. The firing patterns from the sentry gun ensured that some of them were directed to his personal space, though most were harmlessly pushed aside by his own forcefield. Two stray bullets grazed his arm, sending waves of pain through his body. The bullets had taken out a small chunk of his arm, but the adrenaline rushing through his body was more than enough to keep him going.

Zephyrus twisted his arm backward and grimaced. That's...definitely not a regular bullet.

His vision began blurring in front of him from the bullet's effects. His head began to throb. He touched his forehead and fell on his knee. The heavy gusts of wind around him died down, though the battlefield was far from silent. The rapidly firing sentry left a perpetual ringing in the hero's head as he stumbled forward, away from the sentry in a steep curve toward its owner. As expected, the sentry tracked his movements. From this angle, the bullets would glance off his wind barrier as long as he kept moving forward. Another bullet grazed his shoulder, penetrating the barrier again.

Zephyrus coughed. His body was just as fleshy as a regular human, and that last bullet sent waves of pain through his body. His vision was practically gone by now, or at least something of an incomplete figure stood in front of him. He kept going and attempted to fall directly on top of the armored woman. If he got close enough, he'd be able to push them both down with a blast of wind in the backward direction.

Carbon Dragon.png

Alan || Carbon Dragon

Alan saw the hero associate land and catch his balance after being thrown, doing so in a strange way. Either way, it was effective so he didn't pry into it although it did look familiar. He stood up tall and heard the boy talk once again, accepting the points he made as understandable in his position. Alan is listed as a traitor and criminal, and the fact that he was fighting with these New Anarchists here and now only further warranted those labels. Alan wanted to try and reason with them more, try and convince them at the very least to be watchful of those around them. Before he could, he heard the other boy say something and run up to him. Alan just stood there as the boy charged, letting him come towards him with everything he had. As the hero-in-training launched his fist towards Carbon's body, the latter shifted towards a combat stance and caught the fist with one hand. The strike was strong, enough for Carbon to allow the momentum push his arm back before forcefully stopping it. The fact that it was platted didn't help either, adding to the impact of the hit. Regardless it was easy for Carbon to block the attempt. That's when he realized the large handgun now faced towards his stomach, something that looked like it would pack a bigger punch than the other ones.

That's when he heard the weapon fire off directly into his stomach, which was followed by a strong force of blowback and kinetic energy. He felt the round hit his navel armor, safe to say it was nowhere penetrating it. However, the force of it being so up close did cause him to be sent back by an inch, give or take a few centimeters. He looked directly towards the face of the young associate, still holding onto his fist tightly. "My turn." Was all he said as the young hero would suddenly feel the force of Carbon's shield hitting his torso in a jabbing motion. At the same time, he let go of his fist and disarmed him by taking away his weapon. As JOHN was sent back towards the ground, Alan looked up towards MAX and began to speak once again. "You two are out of your league, yet all three of us are similar. Just like me, we have no powers to make us special. Without them, we're normals who bend to the whim of hero's will. Yet with these on, we can say we are like them even though we aren't. We're the unique, the few normals who have the rare ability to be on their side of the glass." Alan said as he began to walk towards MAX. He was going to fight him, neither of them was special enough to warrant a reason to take long pauses. No, he was distracting him in order to create an opening although what he was saying was true.

He continued walking towards the other boy, before stopping halfway between the downed one and the one standing up. That's when his shield materialized away, leaving only his bare arms out. "I won't pretend I know all about this corruption because I don't. I was never high up on the list, rather I experienced it first hand as a hero and was able to see it. We were supposed to be saving lives, not endangering them yet we do it all the time. No... I shouldn't say we, instead you. You need to save lives and not endanger them. Make it your priority to save lives rather than chase the villain. Only then, will you have the right to call yourself a hero." He said, letting the boy take it in for a second or two before suddenly launching at him with high speeds. Alan reared his fist backwards and launched it towards the boy's head, aiming to break his helmet once and for all.
