Somewhat naïve yet determined and optimistic, Rook exhibits the traits of an ideal Pathfinder, being endless curious about the unknown and the drive to discover more. When on mission, Rook is focused and cool-headed, and his leadership skills means that he can naturally command his subordinates. However, his general inexperience leads him to make mistakes at certain times, and is occasionally unused to slang more seasoned Pathfinders use. Kind-hearted and friendly, Rook naturally gets along well with everyone he meets. He somewhat dislikes being compared to his father, as he believes that it is up to him to forge his own destiny.

Bio.

The son and only child of esteemed Pathfinder Cedric Rooker and descended from a long legacy of explorers and adventurers, Dylan was born on the colony world of Providence when it had just been established in the year 2196. He spent much of his youth assisting in the development of the colony while juggling education at the same time. Due to his father's profession, Dylan rarely got to seem him as he would typically be exploring uncharted worlds many light years away, and also because his mother was busy with her own duties as the Director of Colonial Operations, he grew up with a certain lack of a proper parental figures, and thus had to learn how to take care of himself.

As a child, Dylan displayed great aptitude in his studies, especially in the field of science and geography, so much so that he was seen as a prodigy by many. This combined with his father's reputation led to many of his friends to encourage him to enroll in the prestigious Pathfinder Academy, located in orbit around Earth, which he did at the age of 18. Due to a combination of his skills and the reputation of his father, he was accepted, although he disliked constantly living under the shadow of his father.

During his time in the Academy he performed exceptionally well in theory classes and physical tests, and was a natural at navigation and leadership. These traits essentially made him an ideal Pathfinder, and also allowed him to graduate with distinctions. He would be one of the youngest Pathfinders to graduate at the age of 23 in 2219. He was soon attached to the Pathfinder Team Alpha of the colony ship Far Passage, the newest vessel of the Far Horizons Initiative and chosen to lead the team. Here he was given the nickname Rook (short for both rookie and his surname) due to his inexperienced nature.

When the ship was dispatched to colonise the distant world of Huygens-381d and after weeks in cryosleep during the vessel's Torsion Drive faster-than-light transit, Rook finally got a chance to put his skills to good use, leading his team on an expedition. He was also the first to find ancient relics created by an alien race that had long since gone extinct. Now faced with perhaps the greatest discovery in history, Rook prepared to embark on a mission into forgotten underground ruins when strange runes appeared beneath his feet, before he was transported to a new world.
Equipment:
- FN P197: A light and compact bullpup personal defence weapon (PDW). The P197 fires caseless 5.7mm rounds at an extremely high fire rate from a quad-stacked 68-round high-capacity box magazine. It can also be chambered for a variety of ammunition types such as incendiary and explosive rounds. As a PDW, the weapon is extremely effective at close range, although it suffers at longer ranges. It comes with a reflex sight.
- P423: An extremely common sidearm issued to military and security forces, the P423 is a reliable handgun that is easy to use. It is light and compact and can be quickly drawn. The pistol is chambered for 5.7mm high-velocity rounds.
- Combat Knife: A standard-issue combat knife issued to all Pathfinders capable of cutting through most materials.
- HUSMER Scout Rig: A variant of the Pathfinder Rig, the Scout Rig is more specialised for advanced recon, being optimised for higher endurance and agility. It is lighter than most Rigs and also offers less protection as a result.
- Grapple: A device that attaches to the left wrist of Rook's Rig, this Grapple fires a hook connected to a cable that attaches to surfaces, and can be used to rapidly get to high ledges and other areas, and can also be used to pull targets to the user.
- Rapid Detoxification Device: Also known as a Toxin Scrubber, this implant rapidly rids the body of any possible toxic substances, essentially making Rook immune to poisons and highly resistant to toxins.
Human Strength and Mobility Enhancement Rig (HUSMER)

More commonly known simply as Rigs, HUSMERs are powered exoskeletons worn over the body that multiply the strength and mobility of its user. They are commonly used by work crews to lift heavy weights that would either be impossible or extremely difficult to accomplish with baseline human strength. Special variants are made for Pathfinders, which are far more advanced and are designed for both combat and endurance. Rigs are designed to be highly customisable and modular, and can be extensively modified, with there being variants for each specialisation, and can mount external weapons and other equipment. Most standard Rigs are powered by long-lasting lithium-sulfur (Li-S) batteries that can go an extended period without needing to recharge. These batteries can be charged with solar power using photosynthetic solar cells integrated into the Rig's exterior.

Military Rigs include modular armour that protects the user from kinetic and chemical impacts while standard utility ones are fairly basic skeletal frames.

The ones worn by Pathfinders interface directly to the user's neural link, allowing them to utilise the Rig far more effectively, and almost like a second skin. These are also far more customisable than multipurpose than standard utility ones. Pathfinder Rigs are chemical, biological, radiation, and nuclear (CBRN) protected, and allow for exoatmospheric activity in a hard vacuum with microthrusters located around the Rig.

Treasured Possession:
- R3X: Designed as a pet project by his father and further modified by Rook, R3X is an advanced autonomous drone that accompanies him on missions. It resembles a large dog, and also acts like one due to its programming being based on the neural scans of Cedric's pet dog before it died. R3X is built for advanced recon, being equipped with multiple functions such as long-range scanners and communications. It is also capable of storing hazardous materials within its body, along with more mundane items. It is also armed with a small-caliber deployable gun turret that is normally stored within its body. R3X is equipped with a biofuel reactor that provides energy to an energy cell array, meaning that it is capable of eating food like an organic dog, though calorie-dense foods are more effective. Behaviour-wise, R3X is extremely friendly and loyal. Technically genderless, though commonly referred to as male due to its brain scan.
Skills & Abilities: As someone who hails from a universe of science and technology, Rook has practically zero potential for magic. Instead, he relies on his instincts, training, and equipment to get the job done. What little magic he has is mostly passive in nature, though his Rig's integrated sensors already do most of the job for him.
- Aura Affinity: Detects life signs around him, even those that are cloaked or invisible. This spell can detect signatures unable to be picked up by his helmet's sensors.
- Detect Emotion: As the name suggests, this spell allows Rook to sense the emotions of those he targets. Those who are positive glow blue, neutral in grey, and negative in red.
- Ghost Tracks: Allows Rook to detect footsteps of anyone he is tracking, along with echoes of their last known positions.

Mellow yet temperamental and righteous, Cynthia is a young woman who embodies the qualities of a knight, and also a member of the royal family. With the likelihood of her inheriting the throne being practically nonexistent due to her two older brothers, Cynthia has instead dedicated herself to knighthood. With a strong sense of justice, she is determined to prove herself as a true knight by virtue and not just her name, though she has yet to truly prove herself in any proper combat. Cynthia is a naturally curious soul with there always being a sparkle in her eyes whenever she is interested in something, and will endlessly ask questions to find out more. She is also a tad bit hotheaded at times.

Bio.

Born the third child of King Delroy and Queen Cathleen, Cynthia stood practically zero chance of inheriting her throne. Her oldest brother was next in line and as such had been groomed from birth to be its heir, and the middle child also had spent years being taught to be placed as the head of the Royal Council when the time came.

As such, Cynthia instead decided to put her time to good use, joining the Royal Knights and training how to use a lance and sword to defend Irdonia with martial prowess instead of spoken words. Due to her being born just around twenty years before the next Calamity was bound to happen, Cynthia made sure to put everything she had into her training so that she could defend her home against the demonic threat when the time came, not to mention fight alongside the Heroes she had heard so much about.

At age twenty, she was officially named Captain of the Knights after its previous leader and her mentor retired after an accident during a skirmish with bandits that left him with severe injuries. While some disliked her position as they saw it as nepotism from her social standing, her detractors with few as she was already a respected member of the Knights.

Now she continues to lead the Knights, although she has yet to see any real combat beyond police action against bandits and other small-scale threats within Irdonia's borders, and with another Calamity set to occur soon, she could only hope that her training was enough, and that the Heroes are every bit the warriors they are said to be.
Equipment:
- Faithkeeper: A longsword that has been part of the Royal Family's armory for generations, Cynthia is the most recent holder of the Faithkeeper. A blade forged from mythril, it does not dull or rust, and retains its shine, and can even glow in the dark. Due to its composition, it is also surprisingly lightweight. The blade itself can channel Cynthia's Abjuration magic to amplify her attacks or cast protective barriers, and can even fire beams of light from long range.
- Dagger: A sleek dagger with a curved blade, this weapon is used when Cynthia does not have access to Faithkeeper, and is typically only used in emergency situations.
- Equipment bag: Contains medical supplies, rations, and other trinkets, such as a pouch of gold.
Skills & Abilities:
- Abjuration: Cynthia primary form of magic is Abjuration, and she is exceptionally powerful in it due to her family having been blessed by the gods centuries ago. This magic allows her defensive bonuses, and can shield allies from harm by casting magical wards. It can also heal allies using Healing Hands.
  - One ability unique to her family is to summon a spectral knight to fight on her side. It should be noted that while this spectre is superior to physical beings in terms of strength and combat ability, it can take damage like any other mortal.
- Knight Training: Having been brought up as a knight, Cynthia is extremely capable with her blade, along with a variety of other weapons.

Bio.

Arik was born in 2107, a few decades after humanity discovered the psionic protentional of the human mind. However, Arik's psionics were rather weak, and as a result he strived to prove himself in other fields, becoming a freelance coder. He was quite good at it too! But one day, he accepted a job from the wrong person, who tried to kill him after it was finished. Arik tried to run, and succeeded in hiding out for a year or two, but couldn't hide forever.

They caught up.

They killed him.

And now he's here.
Equipment: Literally just the clothes on his back, and a pocket knife.

Treasured Possession: A sharp carbon fiber shortsword, that Arik lost a while back. He knows how to fight with it, and it has saved his life multiple times while on the run.

Physical Appearance:
Blue eyes, blonde hair (which will be shaved at the beginning, but he will be growing it out), muscular (though malnourished from the last few weeks of his life).

Starting clothes will be his prisoner uniform. The jacket, trousers, and cap are all white with blue stripes. All three pieces have two patches—a white patch with Flynn’s prisoner number written in black (80017329), and underneath that an upright red triangle, to signify he is a military criminal/spy. His shoes are leather clogs.

Seeing as this is not an idle clothing situation (even if it is perfectly restored), Flynn will be quick to secure new clothing. This consists of a long-sleeved brown shirt, dark gray trousers, and brown boots.

Height: 5'10"

Features: He was heavily injured and disfigured in the weeks leading up to his death, but most of the damage has healed as if it was never there in the first place. A few scars do remain, the most notable of which is across his left eye (though his vision has been restored).

He also has several small scars from his time in the military. On the underside of his left arm is a small tattoo of his blood type (A), which also identifies him as part of the German Waffen-SS.

Flynn is going to be suffering some major PTSD in the beginning, as well as trying to figure out his identity now that he is no longer in the Nazi culture/military. He speaks only when he deems it necessary, and he never volunteers info about himself or his past life. He rather forget the horrors, though he also knows he never will.

Bio.

Flynn was born in the midst of WWI, while his father was off fighting in the trenches for Germany. Even with his father’s safe return after the war’s end, life was difficult for Flynn and his family, just as it was for all of Germany. When the Nazi party emerged, Flynn’s father was quick to support them and Himmler (and later Hitler). As such, Flynn supported them too, eager to see Germany rise back to its former glory and to see the threat of communism vanquished.

At 18, Flynn was able to fulfill the strict requirements of the Waffen-SS, and so he joined them. Most of the “training” involved heavy indoctrination, though combat skills were also learned. During the four-year commitment, however, he began to question the brutality of the SS and its leaders, as well as the direction Germany was heading. Kristallnacht was the final push he needed, for this was not the great Germany he had envisioned, but a dangerous monster.

He stayed in the SS, gathering intel, and passing it on to others who were anti-Nazi. He saw combat as Germany invaded Poland. After that, however, he was enlisted as a concentration camp guard, and that is where he stayed until betrayed by a fellow spy in 1943.

Flynn was interrogated and tortured for several weeks, but while he gave up some intel, he refused to give the Gestapo any intel on fellow spies. Finally, he was brought before a firing squad and shot…

…Only to find himself alive and well, without bonds or a blindfold, and in a new location.
Equipment: Nothing.

Treasured Possession: A pocket-sized Bible his mother gave him when he left home.

Skills & Abilities:
Spy skills: Excellent liar/actor, good memory, observant, great at shorthand and writing in code

Weapon Summoning: Can summon a weapon as long as he has previously held it in his hands, though it requires less energy/focus if he owns the weapon/it is close by. Also, this does not work across worlds (so no summoning guns, etc.).

Has a wind affinity, but he can really only do two things with it.

Wind Gusts: Can create a focused blast of wind, which can be used to attack, defend, or even propel himself. It does require a physical thrust to activate (a punch, kick, etc.) and is a short blast, rather than prolonged.

Air Wisps: A weak power, but can play with the air, causing small, light breezes—such as stirring a pile of leaves, causing a branch to wobble, ruffling hair, etc. Not useful for much, but the soft play can be calming for his PTSD.

Combat Proficiency: 7, as he’s experienced some combat—though most of his acts of violence have been against those not in a position to give a fair fight (or a fight at all), and the SS didn’t exactly perform well in the invasion of Poland. Specific combat skills are firearms, grenades, knives, and boxing.
Optional information:
As a way to distance himself from both his time as a POW and as a Nazi soldier, he wants his hair to grow out. Short hair bothers him, to the point he almost wants to yank it out but doing so will just reset the hair growth process (and bring flashbacks to POW times).

When he’s not in mission mode, Flynn finds nature calming and beautiful.

Working with his hands might be another way to work through his negative emotions, such painting, repetitive physical training, etc.

Roye tries to have a certain disconnect between his nature and his teachings. He prefers to keep his lineage secret for fear of people driving him out, though he has worked through most of his other angst. He often looks after orphans and cursed children. Roye is generally a kind and brave soul who tries to avoid conflict outside of righteous combat (versus cultists, monsters, etc). He has a long fuse and is fairly tolerant, but it is ill-advised to enrage him. That is not to imply he must always get his way; in most cases, he respects the answer "no". He is somewhat of an idealist, often throwing practicality to the wind when he has a vivid idea.

Bio:
Young Hathus came from a long line of werewolves. Having been the original werewolves in the region, their curse weakened if they produced offspring with humans, creating shifters. In order to reinvigorate their bloodline, they had to spread the curse, which led to raids and kidnappings at night. Their numbers were severely reduced as summoned heroes killed them in self-defense one-hundred years ago. That simple act of attacking the wrong people at the wrong time cost the pack everything. Knights and independent monster hunters soon joined the fray, further thinning the lycans' numbers until only one bitter, defanged man remained.

As a shifter, Hathus lacked some key traits of common werewolves, thus his harsh bandit father was disgusted. He lived in the camp, watching his father and a few other bandits kill people and take their goods. One day, a party led by a cleric-knight slaughtered the vicious werewolf and all his fellow bandits, ending their reign of terror for good. The child, then age seven, was brought to a temple in Nevermore, where he was educated by the clerics and received a surname: "Roye".

Having found a family in his teachers and peers, Roye volunteered to defend them and their faith. He underwent training to become a warrior and received his shifting garb and armor as a gift from the knight who saved him years ago. About five years into his career, he learned a small degree of spellcasting, which he slowly improved upon. All his campaigns and skirmishes were to prepare him for the next Calamity. His aim is to help the summoned heroes, partly to preserve the world and partly to atone for his ancestors' transgressions.

Originally, Roye felt he was horribly cursed because of his heritage. He always self-flagellated during his morning prayer, until he had an in-depth conversation with Remus—a shifter boy under the care of his temple. Remus, who saw it more as a gift and less as an affliction, started to make Roye more comfortable with what he was. He soon stopped whipping himself and, although he was still secretive about his being a shifter, became considerably more confident and outgoing.
Equipment:
- Halberd - A massive, vicious polearm with a reinforced head and pommel. Roye often chains together series of cuts, thrusts, and pommel strikes using this weapon.
- Fire poker - This strange improvised weapon is often used by Roye in place of a typical short spear or sword. The tip has been slightly modified and finely sharpened.
- Letter of Condemnation - A special scroll bearing holy script. When unrolled and held up, it unleashes a single pulse of radiant energy that burns lesser demons and undead in front of it. The scroll can be recharged with the crusader's energy in a brief ritual, but can't be used more than once between charging rituals.
- Shifter armor - Steel half-plate armor with minor enchantments to accommodate Roye’s changing form. Other than that, it doesn’t offer any additional protection.
- Shiftweave - Faint magic is woven into Roye’s usual garb, allowing it to react and change as he shifts into a more bestial form.
- Survival essentials - A bag with rations, a small amount of gold, a full waterskin, 4 pitons, rope, a thick blanket, a tin bowl and cup, a spoon, and a sharp knife (too short to be a very effective weapon).
Skills & Abilities:
- Physical Prowess - Roye is strong and nimble enough to move quickly and traverse obstacles while wearing medium armor and carrying a lumbering polearm. This doesn’t mean he is stealthy; his sheer size, shiny armor, and ear-splitting warcry see to that.
- Martial training - He has worked hard to perfect his weapons technique since his late teen years. He has mastery over polearms, further honed during various conflicts and missions in which he participated.
- Weretouched - When needed, Roye might unleash innate primal powers, revealing a curse that has filtered down over centuries. He takes on a hybrid form similar to that of a werewolf, albeit with fewer benefits and no resistance to non-silvered and non-magical weapons. He also can’t assume a full wolf form like his precursors did. However, he gains short claws and large fangs with a powerful bite.
- Crusader's Evocations - Roye only mastered two spells, which pale in comparison to those in a paladin's or wizard's repertoire.
  - Divine Fury - Causes the blade of his weapon to flare with divine light mid-swing, searing foes on contact. It adds just enough extra bite to make a difference.
  - War Banner - An illusory banner appears on Roye's weapon as he raises it, projecting a short-lived aura that halts bleeding and lightens fatigue.
- Religion - Roye grew up reading holy texts and worships a sun deity. He will likely know some odd facts he learned from his temple’s resident theologians.

Bio

Lian doesn't remember much of her origins, all she knows is that she was sold off at a very young age for some silver by her parents, so that they could raise the son they had just conceived instead. However, instead of being raised into a servant girl like most others would've been, she was taken elsewhere, to a simplistic courtyard where she spent most of her youth. And the name that she was given, was Mei. Mei had no idea why she was forced into such a life, but if she did not follow orders, she would be killed, and so she endured and worked her hardest. Many other females around her age lived there too, though they did not often have much time for talking, even as they grew up.

The things that they were taught dabbled mostly in the art of secrecy and assassination. Learning secret codes and methods of communications, how to hide and mark things discreetly and how to kill without spilling a drop of blood. Mei certainly was not the most outstanding of the females trained there, but, she had her uses, especially since she held the prettiest face. Or perhaps, it was why she was chosen in the first place.

When it was time, Mei was ordered to take on the false identity of Lian Song and work at the highest ranking brothel house. There, she learned how to please customers through song, dance, music and elegance. Perhaps used to working hard in absorbing all that she was taught, she learnt very quickly. Her mission was to lure someone of noble descent, naturally the higher standing the better, and become a concubine. By some stroke of fortune, and through a series of plots that led her to temporarily become a dancer for a banquet in the royal palace, she caught the emperor's eye and was to enter the palace. Favoured by the emperor, she lived well, and even managed to conceive a son which greatly strengthened her standing. Naturally, she kept in correspondence with her true masters, who she came to learn to be Duke Xiao's family, or else her life would end, but she enjoyed living in luxury nonetheless. However, just as she was returning to her palace to play with her son, Shun Wei, she was abruptly bathed in white light and summoned to Ematria.

Often seen in simple clothes, leather armor, and steel gauntlets and greaves, she doesn’t tend to stand out amongst the many other adventurers and mercenaries that she is wont to be seen around. She is just that, a humble adventurer, her sword raised only for the peoples.

Grey is an adventurer first and foremost, mercenary second. Her attitude is that of an ice queen, distant and almost untouchable. Calm, level-headed, and imperceptible, she is more often taken to be yet another mercenary looking for coin. However, as many of her ‘clientele’ can attest to, she has refused payment on multiple occasions, for reasons that are too many to name, but a majority of it can be summed up as due to the kindness of her heart. She does not seek battle, she does not seek coin, she simply seeks more of the world to see. Helping others merely furthers her adventures and expands her knowledge, whether of battle or of the star they reside on. She does not, however, merely do it out of personal profit. She has no foolish dream of ever becoming like the heroes of old, and she would be honored to be even considered a footnote upon the world’s history books, but that would not stop her from doing anything and everything for the people.

Bio.
An Elf from Irdonia who took up learning the sword alongside her friends. She started off as but another child who was enamoured by the prospect of joining the Royal Knights, a station of prestige in her eyes. To wield a sword in defense of the people, like heroes of this world’s own. How she looked up to them, how she admired their stalwart nature. With a band of friends, she enlisted amongst the Royal Knights. She was a rising star amongst her cohort, taking to the sword with nary a sweat on her brow before long. Despite her appearances, even glancing blows from her were dangerous, and she held some pride in her swordplay. She was her own greatest critic in many aspects, and to actually have that much confidence in her ability was saying much to the others.

When the newest Captain of the Knights was elected, however, she was one of the detractors of the movement. Though the princess had proven her mettle, she was, in Johanna’s eyes, young and uninitiated in the fires of war. She abstained from actually voicing out her complaints, however, and committed to training ever harder. One day, however, she seemed to crack. The tinge of anger towards the princess Captain, as some called her, had festered into an ugly wound in her heart, and she could bear it no longer. Unwilling to take action then, and ashamed by her own untoward emotions, she departed from the Royal Knights, setting off into the world outside to find her own way. To her, the Knights was no place for her. Soldiers were at the beck and call of whomsoever it pleases, no matter their actual experience or not. She was dead set on proving herself elsewhere, learning more elsewhere, becoming something else elsewhere.

Taking her swords with her, she began to travel the world, within and without Irdonia, and she saw the world for what it was. People who needed help, called for it, and none came, for there was no coin to be had. Soldiers arrived too late, Knights too spread thin to handle all the threats at once. It was up to someone else to help those in need, those who fell through the cracks. She couldn't wait for someone to do it for her. To save this world, to make sure she still had a world to see, people to meet, she drew her sword for them. She stumbled, she fell, she picked herself up, she tried again, the weight on her shoulders only empowering her next strike. Every time, she would learn something new. Every time, she would grow stronger. Every time, she was someone better. She learned, she grew, and she became known as the unbidden knight. No master, no orders, no need for coin.

Blauvaen: A black Friesian horse, and her companion ever since the Royal Knights. Powerful and fast, it serves as her main mode of transportation. He also serves as her carrier for much of her supplies.

Helbnagl: A mythril claymore nearly as tall as she is. A gift from her comrades from when she left the Knights. She meditates on it whenever untoward emotions assail her.

Slafwilf: A longsword. It is nothing special, but it serves her better in combat than her claymore.

Pouches and carrier bag: They serve to carry her more immediate requirements, such as healing potions, antidotes, small foodstuffs, and canteen.

Treasured Possession: Summoned Heroes only. An item or object the most meaningful to your character. Can be a simple memento or a practical item like a bag of medical equipment or even a beloved pet, as long as it is portable. Heroes will not start with them and it will be given to them after the introductions.

Skills & Abilities:
Medicine: She has a surprising amount of knowledge of common antidotes, cures, and medicines, and is more than capable of employing her first aid skills to patch up wounds and cure ailments in a battle. She is capable of fixing up impromptu mixes on the fly based on factors that she knows to stave off the effects of newfound poisons and such.

Battle: One of the best swordsmen from when she was with the Royal Knights, she has only improved even further with her roaming, adapting new styles and mixing them into what she had been taught from her time with the Knights. Unlike the more honorable Knights, she employs more underhanded and unorthodox methods as well to upset her opponent’s balance, obscure their vision, or catch them off guard. She is not beneath fleeing, then re-engaging when the time is right. She is a rather good shot with a crossbow, and adapts quite quickly to new weapons. Naturally, however, she isn’t exactly as skilled as those who are more trained in their use.

Illya is primarily a man of science first. He is someone that is driven entirely by his interests in pushing the boundaries of science and making new discoveries in an age where most principles have already been found. To him, nothing else interests him but his research. He doesn't particularly dislike human interaction, but he dislikes whatever may waste research time -- which also happens to be human interaction for the most part. He is unable to grasp the nuances of human interaction nor why one might want companionship.

Bio.

Like Illya, his parents were both also scientists who dabbled on the unsavory and unethical side of research for Kamera in the USSR. They had Illya relatively late in life compared to others, when both were in their 50s. By the time Illya was born, the USSR was slowly coming apart at the seams, finally ending in 1991. Even so, his parents stayed in Moscow, eventually being recruited to the SVR along with some other colleagues for their expertise. It was in this highly clandestine and scientific environment that Illya grew up in, with his parents hardly giving him much attention besides educational instructions. Thus Illya grew up without any proper socialization nor much interactions with his peers. And by the time he was given exposure, he had already been rather dismissive of them. Illya spent the rest of his adulthood getting his doctorates, then following in the steps of his parents in the SVR, content to give his 'loyalty' so long as his grants stayed consistent. One day, while Illya was out on a rare field expedition, he found himself suddenly blinded by a bright light.

Inquisitive and bright, Alaryia is always on the outlook for something new to learn or to learn from. She's always on top of whatever she has to do and doesn't stop until it's finished. Clutter could never be a word that someone would think of when she comes to mind. The girl obsesses over having everything in a clean and neat position where she can easily reach for them without worrying if things are missing or misplaced. As mentioned before she was always willing to learn things and this goes hand in hand with being analytical about the world around her. Curiosity is a powerful tool that can drive someone to want to know or learn new skills, information and abilities without being asked beforehand. So she asks a lot of questions. Unbeknownst to most Piero di Cosimo de' Medici and Lucrezia Tornabuoni had a sixth child. Her name was Alaryia de' Medici. The time of her birth happened to occur during a time of political unease within Florence as a number of unexplainable deaths of high-ranking nobles had taken place. As a way to protect their newborn daughter the Medici couple sent her away to be raised by Cosimo's cousin, Pierfrancesco de' Medici. Her childhood was a happy one filled with days of running in the meadows and making flower crowns with her maids. She knew who she was. Her true parentage had never been hidden from her but to others, she was the orphaned child that had been taken in and donned the appearance of a high-born lady. It was frustrating at times to listen to the whispers that trailed after her as she walked down the halls and cruel laughter when they thought her attention had turned elsewhere. It didn't matter though. Let them jeer and laugh all they wanted for she was a true-born Medici. She had the blood running in her veins and the parents that gazed fondly over at her yet incapable of touching her to prove it.

Alaryia was a knowledgeable girl. And her governesses agreed with that sentiment. The Medici girl was fluent in French, English, Italian, Spanish, and Dutch. She learned how to be a proper lady as expected of ladies in her position and excelled at needlework as well as dance. Her manners were impeccable. After all, she was trained to be a graceful and beautiful woman. But besides all this a sense of longing for adventure settled into her core. The world was so wide and she wanted to see it all one day. Unfortunately, it had to be buried. A proper lady was obedient. A proper lady didn't want to go exploring. A proper lady had to get married and fulfill her duties. It was a fate she didn't want to be subjected to. Yet it was something she couldn't change. It was the way of the world.

Yet never would Alaryia have expected to be transported to an entirely different world that she couldn't even have imagined of on the eve of a ball she was attending.

Andre is a man of pride and glory. At a tender young age he was made to be the best that his home kingdom has among many of those that had served under their king. Andre sees joy in fighting for his king's honor and firmly believes that one alone is not enough to achieve their dreams. For Andre, he has a shared dream with his king; to see the farthest lands. Unfortunately, with the untimely death of his king and the civil war that followed, Andre was left depressed that he could no longer reach more farther land with him as he is forced to take sides for the one faction to rule what is left of his conquest. His only wish now is to fight alongside his king again.

Bio.

Andreios of Macedon was among the best soldiers that his king, Alexander the Great, has ever recruited. His father was a high ranking soldier during the time of King Philip II's rule. When the king was assassinated and Alexander took the throne, Andreios was pulled into a bloody conquest to take over the entire world. He had fought many adversaries starting with the Achaemenid Empire alongside with his companions and the king himself. As he fought, he felt joy in bringing down his enemies.

Alexander's army was invincible. Nobody could withstand a chance against such a powerful force until all of a sudden, Alexander died just as they were about to launch an attack on Arabia. His death caused a lot of shock from his men, all of them that he acted like a father to, including Andre. Since then, the army has been divided and started fighting each other for the true claim of Alexander's legacy. Andre on the other hand decided to play wild card and fought both sides depending on which of them is willing to pay him higher.

While he still enjoyed participating in battles, he is depressed by what has become. He wished to see his king again, and in one battle, he disappeared.

Treasured Possession: A banner that is the symbol of Alexander's army. It is also a reminder of who Andre is and who is he serving.

- Weapon Proficiency - He was taught many different combat forms from his spear to sword...at least in his time. Guns are probably something that he'll need time to adjust to when given.
- Weapon Improvisation - On the other hand, he could make any mundane object into an effective weapon if there is nothing left to use. This includes dirt.

- Battle Tactics - He had learned some things about flanking the opposing army and ambushing from his generals.
- Battle Cry - Alexander the Great had noted that whenever Andre roars, his fellow soldiers gains a boost of courage. In this case, his roar can effectively boost morale and gives his companions somewhat of a power up to their physical abilities.
